We get into what it was like growing up gay as the son of a pastor in the Bible Belt, the complexities of code-switching within the gay community, and why we’re pro–sex work!

Herby also shares what it meant to leave everything behind to pursue his dreams, including a chapter that involved sleeping in his car. Because sometimes chasing the life you want means surviving the one you never asked for.

And, of course, we discuss the privilege of having a front-row seat to the “hoe stroll in training.” 😂

It’s funny, it’s candid, occasionally filthy, and surprisingly tender for such a hostile theme.
