Jesus Showed Me I Was Channeling Demons for Fame - #182 Jay Bonisolli

Jay Bonisolli spent years chasing enlightenment through psychedelics, Eastern philosophy, and a music career he was willing to go dark to win — until God interrupted him three separate times.

On a heroic dose of mushrooms, Jay experienced something he later realized matched the Bible's description of "outer darkness" — long before he'd ever read the term for himself. Years later, after writing a desperate letter to God, he encountered the presence of Jesus Christ so powerfully that a daily weed addiction and years of Eastern spiritual practice fell away overnight. And in an out-of-body encounter he still struggles to fully put into words, Jesus showed him plainly that the music opening doors to fame had been channeled from a source he never should have trusted.

This conversation covers Jay's early psychedelic experiences, his years studying Buddhism and Hinduism (including months in India under a Hindu monk), a warning dream that ended his pursuit of a record deal, and the moment Jesus met him and never let go.

If you've ever wondered whether there's more beyond what science can measure — or whether God pursues people even when they're running the other way — this episode is for you.
