Welcome to the first part of our deep dive into the absolute industrial nightmare that is Necromunda. Often cited as the "textbook example" of a Hive World, Necromunda is a planet where the history is as blood-soaked as its geography is treacherous.
In this episode, Bricky, Kirioth, and DK explore the planet’s early days as the "Araneus Continuity," its brutal "liberation" by the Imperial Fists, and the sheer audacity of a population so large it makes modern Earth look like a deserted island. From oceans of toxic sludge to the shifting, microplastic dunes of the Ash Wastes, we’re breaking down why this world is a complete setting in itself.
