The importance of having a sparring partner

The files of my original take on the state of the worlds politics in 2024 were corrupted, perhaps the universe is telling me something. So this is just a sideways look at a couple of interesting and difficult conversations I've had lately, starting with the Irish musical phenomenon Kneecap and ending with the darkness of the Grooming gangs scandal in the UK, and how the world is only going to get more wild and we have to try and drop our instinct of dismissing the messengers simply because we don't like their politics, or their history, or just the cut of their jib!
