Chapter 160 - The War - Foot Soldiers

Now accepted into Greyback's inner circle, Remus has a revealing conversation with the werewolf leader who explains his twisted philosophy and his long-term plans for Remus as an "experiment" between nature and Dumbledore's influence. Remus learns the pack's true role as Voldemort's enforcers against wavering pureblood families rather than his main forces. Living among the pack, Remus grows genuinely attached to many members while gathering intelligence, walking a dangerous line between his mission and the seductive appeal of finally belonging somewhere that accepts his werewolf nature completely.
