How much of yourself should you actually bring to work? You hear it all the time: “Bring your whole self.” Then again, “Don’t bring your whole self.”
This is the season finale of the first season of Please Advise, and your host Suzy Welch is flipping the script on advice-giving. After Suzy told a young woman to stop giggling, stop touching her hair, and overall stop being bubbly at work, her newsletter readers did not hold back. Two of them join her to disagree live: Elena, who fired off an email titled “Too bubbly???” and Jodie, a trauma surgeon and former cheerleader whose own email to Suzy was epic.
