The eX-Files: The X-Files 1.19 Shapes

Welcome to The eX-Files, a Beyond Buffering podcast where hosts Jenny Owen Youngs and Kristin Russo cover The X-Files one episode at a time, spoiler free.
Today we meet the very first X-File, opened in 1946 in Montana, and party with werewolves, taxidermy, and horses. We also have a big conversation about what (always) happens when non-Native writers tell stories about Indigenous communities. Spoiler alert: it ain’t great!

Producer LaToya Ferguson gives "Shapes" a scary rating of 1.5/5 Awooos
