0:56 By our church fathers from the gospel according to Saint Luke and chapter 8 verses 40 to 56 which is the end of chapter 8. So it is Luke chapter 8 verses 40 to 56 inclusive. The Lord Jesus speaks in these beautiful passages about Two situations. There was a man who was a ruler of a synagogue named Jairus and his only daughter who was 12 years.

1:31 Of age and she was dying.

1:33 And then the Lord came to him and he said, let's go to our house. Your daughter is okay. She's going to be fine. So as they were going to Jairus' house to heal his only daughter, 12 years of age, while going and being pressed and thronged by a multitude of people.

1:55 They were pushing him, touching him everywhere.

1:58 The Lord says something very, very strange to their apostles that were with him.

2:06 He says, someone touched me.

2:06 Saint Peter and those who were with him were kind of shocked.

2:09 They said, Lord, There is endless people touching you and pushing you and pressing you.

2:23 What do you mean someone touched you?

2:25 He said, yes, one, someone touched me because I perceived power coming out of me.

2:35 And it happened to be a woman who was bleeding for 12 years.

2:48 And the Holy Bible says that she spent all her livelihood on physicians without prevailing.

2:56 Nobody was able to heal her.

3:00 But we see the connection between Jairus' daughter and the woman who bled for 12 years.

3:08 Both share the same number, 12. She is 12 years old.

3:15 And the woman was bleeding for 12 years. So in other words, the woman bled for as long as Jairus' daughter lived.

3:26 12 years.

3:28 And no doctor healed her. She came from behind and touching the border of the Lord's garment, immediately her bleeding stops.

3:40 And the Lord says, Somebody touched me.

3:46 When you read it in the original text, the word touched me gives a little bit more meaning.

3:51 Touching me here, it literally means when you grab A naked cable of electricity. But it's naked. You know, the covering, that plastic covering is gone and the cable is fully naked and you come and touch it. What would happen to you? You would be electrocuted. So when the Lord says, power came out of me, it is that power of electricity where it really zips you and zips you hard.

4:42 So she was electrocuted by the Lord Jesus. Now, the only time a person gets electrocuted is when they grab a naked cable. And those who are electricians, they would, you know, agree with that very much so. And probably some of them have been zipped by a naked cable. What the Lord is saying to all of us.

5:13 Do you want to be healed? Then you need to come.

5:16 As if you are holding a naked cable. The Lord says. I have the power to heal. But this power cannot be touched.

5:22 Cannot be felt.

5:38 Unless you come to me naked.

5:41 And what does it mean coming to the Lord naked? It means you come to the Lord as you are. It means you come to the Lord without putting a mask on, trying to act to fake things. Don't do that because it will never work with the Lord Jesus. You come to the Lord as you are. You come confessing all of your sins. Don't ever say, Lord, I made a mistake, but I tell you, Lord, it wasn't my fault.

6:16 It was so-and-so's fault.

6:17 Don't ever do that because you are coming, trying to cover your own nakedness. You will never be electrocuted by the Lord.

6:28 You made a mistake.

6:29 Take full responsibility. Blame no one but you. Blame no one but you. Don't even blame Satan. Blame yourself for listening to Satan.

6:42 Don't put excuses.

6:44 Confess your sins and take full ownership of that.

6:48 It was no one's fault but mine. This kind of approach gives you healing from the Lord Jesus. When you come fully naked you will be electrocuted By the almighty God. Where you receive healing.

7:16 Doctors were not able to heal this woman.

7:20 And she spent all of her money on doctors. Yet nobody was able to heal her. And so true. Who can heal you but God alone? Maybe the doctor might give you a temporal healing physically only. international stage maybe a doctor can give you a temporal healing emotionally only but can any doctor give you a spiritual healing forever never only Jesus Christ can why because he is the only one who is God revealed in the flesh he's the only one so you can go and spend your money here and there and everywhere But at the end of the day, it takes God to fully heal you.

8:14 Physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually.

8:18 Your entire being gets transformed when you get.

8:22 Touched by the almighty God.

8:24 But it takes absolute truthfulness and honesty to one's self to get God's attention.

8:32 For him to stop and say, power left me. It takes.

8:38 You coming as you are. Don't ever act. Don't ever fake it. Don't ever pretend and assume things. Just be honest with yourself.

8:51 Some Christians live a fake life.

9:08 Some Christians live a life based on pretending. Some Christians, they want to act. And that's why the Lord Jesus in the book of Revelation rebuked the leader of Theatira, one of the seven churches when you read Revelations, you know, in the book of Revelations 2 and 3. Theatira, that's where the word theater came from. These names are all from the Greek language. They derive from the Greek language.

9:48 Theatira is theater, where theater came from. And who goes on that theater?

Now what is the connection between Jairus' daughter and the woman who bled? Jairus' daughter 12 years of age and the woman's bleeding for 12 years. Both of them represent the Israelite nation. Yes, it was an actual event where the Lord Jesus raised, literally raised.

12:24 Jairus' daughter, brought her back from the dead.

12:28 That was an actual event that took place when the Lord was on earth. So as the woman who bled for 12 years. It was an actual woman. It was an actual situation. And the Lord gave healing to the woman and gave resurrection to the dead little girl.

12:47 But with this.

12:49 Actual event, the Lord is trying to send a message that is much more profound than this. And that is a message to the Israelite nation. When somebody is bleeding, blood represents life. And when the blood leaves, then that life leaves that body. The body lives on that blood. When a human being loses their blood, they will die.

13:21 So this woman bleeding, meaning she was gradually dying.

13:24 And this 12-year-old girl, she was also dying.

13:40 And by the time the Lord Jesus healed this woman that was bleeding, as he continued his journey to Jairus' house, one of the servants came and said to Jairus, Don't give the master a hard time. Your daughter just died.

13:56 And then the Lord turns to Jairus and says, Your daughter will be fine.

13:59 She'll be healed. Don't worry. But she died.

14:10 Yet the Lord was still going on his way to Jairus' house. And the Lord continued the journey and wanted to tell Jairus, I just healed a woman who bled for 12 years. The moment she just touched the border of my garment, 12 years passed. Seeking doctors helped, nothing eventuated from it. But in a split moment, she was healed on the spot. Jairus, be of good faith and just realize what I've just done. If I can heal this dying woman, do you think I cannot raise your daughter?

14:47 And by the way, healing this dying woman.

14:49 The bleeding woman, is exactly raising somebody from the dead.

14:59 Because bleeding refers to dying. And this young girl was dying as well.

15:07 And what is death? Death, at the end of the day, is sickness. A sickness, my beloved. Why? What is the sign of death? Illness. Why do people get sick? Because they are all mortal. If people were immortal, none of them would have been sick. The sign of death is sickness, illness. That's why all of.

15:34 Us get sick. Because we're all mortal. Sickness leads to death. Oh, I feel so sorry for so and so. They died because they had, I don't know, a heart attack or a stroke or cancer or whatever complications.

15:54 These are all signs that we are all mortals.

16:06 The Israelite nation has been dying for a very long time. And the only healer is the Messiah.

The Israelite nation is made out of 12 tribes. Both the bleeding woman and Jairus' daughter, number 12, represents the 12 tribes of Israel.

17:17 And Israel is depicted in the book of Jeremiah as the woman, the bride of God. So the woman here represents the Israelite nation. The Lord in this chapter 8 of Luke. The gospel writer is saying the only one who can heal the Israelite nation is Christ the King. And he is the only one who can heal the New Testament, the new Israelite of the New Testament.

17:44 He is the only one who can heal is also Christ the King.

17:49 Without the Lord, neither the Israelite people nor the Christians can find healing until they find Christ. So my beloveds, I can take this passage and apply it to me as a Christian. Not just the Israelite people, our beloved Jews. I've said it before and I'll say it.

19:40 Human being can ever receive I'm talking about human beings all of us not just Christians the entire world the ultimate gift any human being could ever receive is inner peace that's the ultimate if any human being can really say I have peace from within truthfully.

20:10 Truthfully, I have peace from within.

20:12 You must have had an encounter with the Lord Jesus. Not anyone else.

20:15 You must have had an encounter with the Lord Jesus.

20:17 Pursue more about the Lord Jesus.

20:18 Learn more about Him.

20:19 The issue is, humanity in general.

20:37 Is trying frantically to live in peace. Every human being tries so many ways. You ask them, why do you want to, why you're trying this? They say, because I want to be at peace. And what does peace give you? Freedom. And what does freedom tell you that you have life? Peace It gives you freedom. And freedom tells you that you have life. When somebody is chained up, when somebody is held captive, they are not free.

21:21 They are slaves. And when they are slaves, they can't say, I'm living. Yes, they may have.

21:27 This temporal life, but you ask them from within, they are dead. When are you alive from within? When you are free. And when are you going to be free? When you have peace in you. When do you have this peace? When Christ says, power left me. When you receive healing from God himself who was revealed in the flesh over 2,000 years ago. His name is Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Now this Jesus, you need to come to him as you are naked. Meaning don't fake it. Don't act because he's God. He knows you inside and out more than you. He will know exactly what you are.

22:09 Going to say to him. Don't ever come to him and lie.

22:13 Don't ever.

22:14 Be as you are.

22:15 Say Lord I really want to be healed by you.

22:16 And healing means transformation.

22:30 I want to be a new being. I don't want to be that old person that I came to know once upon a time. Because that old person gave me nothing but headaches and heartaches. The old person took me to places I did not wish to go. The old person made me say things I regretted all the time. The old person took me to darkness, took me to destruction, took me to being lost. I want to be living in this new person called Jesus of Nazareth. I want to be the son of the light. I want to speak the truth. I want to live free. No more captive.

23:18 No more bondage. No more in prison. I want to be free. Give me that peace. And look what the Lord Jesus said when he healed this woman who was bleeding.

23:30 For 12 years.

23:33 He commended her by the way and she was glorified by the Lord Jesus.

23:39 On three things. And I'll finish with these three points.

23:43 The Lord Jesus glorified this woman because she came honest to herself.

23:52 She came honest. She came naked.

23:55 That's why she was electrocuted by the Lord Jesus. Yet, so many people were pressing the Lord. The Lord never said to none of them, I felt power leaving me. He only said it to one out of thousands. And people come to the Lord in the millions and the Lord again says, one touched me. In a way, it's so sad. Hundreds go to church. Thousands go to church.

24:22 Millions hear the gospel. But how many are being touched by the Lord?

24:27 Ask yourself, are you that woman? Or are you the multitude?

24:32 The beast does not begin by demanding.

24:35 In which circle you wish to stand? With the women or with the multitude? What does it benefit a man if he gains the whole world, yet he loses himself at the end? What does it benefit by going to church every Sunday? But you are not seeking the Lord, you are.

24:49 Seeking alternate ways. Yes, I went to church for the sake of going. Because I felt obligated.

24:59 I went to church because my mom has been nagging me. I went to church because there was a wedding. I went to church because there was baptism. I went to church because there was a funeral. I had to go. What would I have said to people if they had seen.

25:11 Me later on? What would I have replied to them? So out of obligation I had to go.

25:19 But the Lord is saying, I'm seeking those who say out of love for the Lord.

25:25 I went to the house.

25:27 Of the Lord.

25:28 Now these kind of people touch me profoundly. When you come seeking the Lord and no one else, not this good looking bishop, not anyone.

25:40 Did you hear the good looking? I'm here for the Lord. I'm here for the Lord. I beg you. I beg you.

25:50 When you go to Jesus Christ of Nazareth, go for him and him only.

25:56 Don't ever use the name of the Lord for your own personal benefits. Don't ever.

26:01 Dear church leaders, you better.

26:03 Seek the Lord Jesus.

26:08 Because at the end, you may have millions following you. And you may have billions following you. But when your spirit leaves the body, you need Jesus Christ to come to your rescue. 33:02 You had all these mansions, millions and billions in the account, and you had all the fame. Anyone and everyone in this world would have begged to have a little portion of what you had. Why did you end up killing yourself? Because they'll tell you, I tried everything under the sun. But I was always empty from within. My beloveds, every one of us, every single human being, when we close our eyes, what do we see?

33:31 An endless space.

33:33 Now we see something. We see a space. But this space, can you put limit to it? No. Can you put boundary to it?

33:45 Can you see the beginning and the end of it?

33:49 No.

33:50 Endless space. Infinite space.

33:54 Yet, we are so minute piece of dust. But when we close our eyes, this piece of minute dust sees an endless infinite space.

34:09 when you look inside of you, you will see this endless space that takes the endless God to fill. That inner peace, which is an endless space, takes that infinite, endless God to fill. God is saying, no one can give you inner peace except the infinite God.

34:40 You need the Lord.

34:41 My son, my daughter, you need the Lord. Who are you seeking in life? And what are you seeking in life?

34:47 To have fun? To go out and dance? To drink? To take drugs? To gamble?

34:50 To be with men and women?

34:51 What are you seeking?

34:52 Wake up! Because this life can be taken before we blink our eyes.

35:13 It's like a dream.

35:15 We need to wake up. What are you seeking.

35:21 Want to have fun? You better do it with the Lord. Not outside of Him.

35:28 Don't leave the Lord behind and go.

35:31 When you leave the house, say, Lord, we go together. And when you come back, say, Lord, we come back together. Don't take the Lord Jesus to dark places. He is the light of the world. Don't take this light into darkness. Don't. But the only way you would take him to a dark place. When you take him in the sense of him being glorified through you. 36:19 True story. I'll leave you with this true story. This young girl. Like so many young girls in this world. She was so faithful to the Lord Jesus. She would go to church, would not miss one service in the Holy Church. And she would read the Holy Bible and dedicated her life to the Lord.

36:43 However, she had one little weakness. What was her weakness?

36:50 9 p.m.

36:52 In that particular country, there was this show coming on TV. Every day at 9 p.m. She got so addicted to that show.

37:05 If she is praying, if she is reading the Holy Bible, if she's talking to the Lord Jesus, she would drop everything.

37:12 Not to miss that show. She struggled with this weakness. It's an addiction like any other addiction. She struggled with this weakness. True story. So one night, she said, I have to put an end to this.

37:29 I can't talk to the Lord and leave him to go and watch a worldly show. I can't read the Bible, then I close it for a worldly show.

37:39 I am tired, Lord. Help me. Help me. Help me, Lord.

37:43 Let me overcome my addiction. And whatever your addiction is, beg the Lord for it. So one night, the Lord put this idea in her head.

37:52 What did she do? She took a picture, an icon of the.

37:55 Lord Jesus, and glued it, half of it on the door and the other half on the wall. And she glued it so hard, meaning if she would open the door, she will rip that icon in half.

38:09 She glued it and sat in her bed.

38:15 Started reading the Holy Bible. Five to nine came. Two minutes to launch. One minute to launch.

38:23 She started itching.

38:24 It's an addiction for years. Ten seconds left.

38:31 She gets up. She walks to the door. Hold the knob. Wants to open it. Looks at the icon.

38:39 If I open the door.

38:43 I'll rip it in half. She said, Lord, forgive me.

38:47 I will rip myself in half and do nothing to you, Lord. She went back into her bed and continued praying and reading the Holy Bible. That was the last night ever she did what she used to.

39:01 Do for years.

39:03 Gave up on that addiction.

39:04 What will it take.

39:11 For me to give up on something that I'm so used to. To make Jesus happy.

39:16 What would it take.

39:17 For the Lord to stop and say. Somebody touched me.

39:20 Let's bow our heads.

39:32 Ask the Lord for forgiveness to make us worthy to come forth and receive him in the truth, the true body and the true blood of Christ.
