And chapter 13, from verses 1 to 23 inclusive. Matthew 13, verse 1 to 23 inclusive. There is a lot to cover today with these priceless and precious verses. 23 verses. But just one thing. The Lord Jesus spoke in parables throughout the synoptic gospels being Matthew, Mark, and Luke. Only in one chapter, the most concentrated chapter, just one chapter, the most concentrated chapter throughout the three synoptic gospels in this chapter 13 of Matthew alone the Lord mentions seven parables. Seven parables In one chapter alone. And the entire synoptic gospels. He

Or in other words, Saint Matthew introduces the Lord Jesus as the Messiah to the Jewish people, to our beloved Jews or the Israelite nation. That is chapter 1 to 12. Chapter 14 to 28, which is the entire gospel, 28 chapters, Chapter 14 to 28, St. Matthew introduces the Lord Jesus to the entire world. And chapter 13,

4:03 the divider between addressing the Israelites and the world is about what the church fathers refer to as the secretive kingdom or the mysteries of the kingdom. Chapter 13 alone, the mysteries of the kingdom or the secretive kingdom. And in this chapter the Lord mentions seven parables. The seven parables go hand in hand with the book of Revelation chapter 2 and 3 where the Lord talks about the seven stages where his beloved and only church, his bride, was going to go through from the beginning till the very end, the second coming of the Messiah. So those seven parables go hand in hand with with the seven stages of his beloved church in Revelation chapter 2 and 3.

In other words, he gave the promise to Abraham, who is the father of the Old Testament church. He said, I will come and visit your children in the end of times. And he did. 8:11 So he leaves the house, meaning he leaves his beloved Old Testament church and comes to the sea. And who is the sea? The pagan world. All of us, we were worshipping different gods. Some worshipped the sun, some worshipped the moon, some worshipped the cow, they still do, and some worshipped whatever. Everybody had their own god. False God.

8:43 So the Lord came to the pagan world. The distant people. The very distant from him. People who have denied him completely. But the ones whom he chose from the very beginning. Old Testament. The ones whom he chose from the very beginning. He came at the end of times. They crucified him. They crucified him. And until this day. They do not acknowledge that he has already come.
