Of the one who is offering it to this nature. It's incredible. We don't tend to love those who truly love us, but rather love those who love us in a false way. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, one God, Amen. We thank our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, forever and evermore. Amen.
He is the only way, the only truth, and the only life. He is the reason for the season, as they say. And outside of him, there is no life. In him, everything was made. And without him, nothing was made from what was made. He is the light of the world. He is the way, the truth, and the life. He is the Alpha and the Omega. He is the first and the last. He is the beginning and the end.
He is the life and the resurrection. He is the good shepherd that leads us to green pastures and still waters. He is the Lord God. He is the Logos, who is God himself, the creator of all. Jesus Christ is the center of of our very existence. It is through Christ we get to God the Father, and it is through the Holy Spirit we get to know the Son.
And this is the love of God the Father that made life possible, where he sent his only beloved Son, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, to be that sacrificial Lamb of God, so that whoever believeth in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. We thank God the Father for His infinite love, unfailing love, unwavering love. And we thank His beloved Son, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for His faithfulness and loyalty to the will of God the Father.
And we thank the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of truth, the true teacher that teaches us all about Jesus Christ of Nazareth. He is the ambassador to the kingdom. Of all kings. The Lord Jesus. Without the Holy Spirit. We will never know the son. And without the son. There is no way we can get to the father. And this is the eternal life. That they may know you.
That you are God alone. And Jesus Christ whom you have sent. We thank the Holy Trinity. The triune God. The omnipresent. The omniscient. The everlasting God. The true divine God. three persons in one nature, and one nature and three persons. It is one true divine God, creator of all, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Amen. Our beloved fathers, deacons, nuns, faithfuls, both in this holy church and those who are watching us through live streaming, I pray that you're always in good health and in good spirit. And that you're always close to the Lord Jesus. Do not be tempted. Do not be deceived. Do not be influenced. You need to listen to the voice of Christ and see if it's the Lord speaking or not. Don't let people influence you.
Let the voice of God be the only influencer in your life. Amen? Very good. Our church fathers... For today's liturgical service, they chose a passage from the Gospel according to St. Matthew, chapter 12 and verses 1 to 21, or it is 14. 14, yes? Today it's 14, it's short, and the morning was still 21. But regardless, so it is the Gospel according to St. Matthew, chapter 12 and verses 1 to 14. The gospel according to St. Matthew is divided into three parts. The gospel contains 28 chapters.
We need to know how each gospel is structured in order to be able to understand the content of it and thus having an explanation of it. If we don't know how it's structured, then our interpretation fails. will be based incorrectly. So it is 28 chapters. We divide it into three groups. St. Matthew is introducing the Lord Jesus from chapter 1 to chapter 12, which is today's gospel, chapter 12. From 1 to 12, St. Matthew is introducing the Lord Jesus to the Israelite nation as the Messiah whom he has seen as the Son of Man. The Israelite nation are the people of the prophets, of the prophecies, of the law. God spoke to them. God chose Israel as his firstborn so that he dwells in that Israel, teaches him his laws and statutes, and through his beloved
son Israel teaches the world. But that son failed God. Because there is only one son that never fails God. It is Jesus Christ. But regardless, so St. Matthew introduces the Lord Jesus as the Messiah. But he says to the Israelite nation in the first 12 chapters, my beloved nation, I see the Messiah as the son of man. I see him as a human being. Then there is chapter 13 on its own, a divider. And in that chapter there is seven parables. which the church fathers refer to that chapter as the secretive kingdom. The secretive kingdom. And then from 14 to 28, St. Matthew introduces the Lord Jesus to the entire world as the Messiah, as God.
By the way, Messiah is taken from the Hebrew or Aramaic Syriac word, Mshiha or Mshiho or Mshiha, which means the anointed one. So Messiah means literally God. The anointed one. God revealed in the flesh. Which is Christ. Christ. So when we come to chapter 12, the Lord Jesus came first for the lost sheep from the Israelite nations. He came to the 12 tribes of Israel as he promised our father Abraham from of old. So he came first to his own, to the very people whom he chose from the very beginning in the Old Testament. And he gave him the chance. 12 chapters, the Lord is preaching, is doing wonders and miracles and signs in the Israelite nation.
And at the end of all 12 chapters, they say to him, by the power of Satan, you're casting foul spirits out of people. We don't want you to be king over us. We want Augustus Caesar to be king. Incredible is this fallen human nature. How far it goes in denying the love of And the truthfulness of the one who is offering it to this nature. It's incredible.
We don't tend to love those who truly love us. But rather love those who love us in a false way. They wanted Augustus Caesar. And rejected Christ to be their king. Now Augustus Caesar said. He enslaved the Israelite nation. He stepped on it. He destroyed it, yet they chose him over the one who came to give his life up for them, to deliver them and save them. And that is the fallen human nature. You know, when you show love, true love to someone, they don't want it. They fall for the fake love out there in the streets. I listen to my friends in the streets and not to my parents. I listen to people outside and not to the priest or the bishop. I listen to Satan. I don't want to listen to Christ. Amazing. It's the same thing.
What happened in the Old Testament exactly is happening in the New Testament. The only difference between the Old and the New Testament is one thing. Technology. Before they used to sit on the back of a donkey, a horse, a camel. Now they sit in cars, motorbikes, and planes. But as far as the human nature is concerned, nothing has changed. Nothing has changed, my beloved. Now, in these...
beautiful verses. Chapter 12, verse 1 to 13 or 14, the Lord Jesus is trying to get everyone's attention on one point and one point only. And that is mercy. One thing, mercy. Mercy. He says, I do not desire a sacrifice, I desire mercy. I did not come seeking a sacrifice, I came seeking mercy. Because what happened? The Lord happened to be walking with his apostles, with his disciples, on a Sabbath. And he was walking through the wheat field, or the grains, or the wheat fields. So he was walking with his disciples through the wheat fields, And then the disciples were hungry. Looks like they've been walking for hours.
So they got hungry. So they looked. They're in the midst of the wheat field. They said, okay, let's plug some of these weeds. Rub that skin off and start eating them. The Pharisees and the scribes straight away came to Jesus and said, what kind of a teacher are you? You're not teaching well. You're letting your disciples to break the Sabbath which is a commandment from God himself. Honor or sanctify Sabbath and come and worship me on a Sabbath.
Your people, your students are breaking Sabbath because they just plugged these grains and they ate them. That is classified as work and you are not allowed to do any type of work on Sabbath, on Saturday. That day is only given to God. You should come and worship and praise him and honor him. Don't do any other physical work. Well, the Lord said, looks like you guys are educated. Pharisees, oh my goodness, very over-educated. He said, you've read in the Old Testament, what did your King David do? He entered the temple of God with his people and he ate from the showbread which he was not supposed to eat from. Only priests are allowed to eat from it.
Your King David broke the law. How come you did not reprimand him? I'm not in the temple. I'm just in the wheat field. And my disciples got hungry. If you've got a sheep, and it falls into the well or a pit, don't you bring it out on a Sabbath? Or do you wait till Sunday till it rots? Now if you show mercy towards an animal, isn't it more relevant to show mercy to a human? Who is the image and the likeness of God? Who is the crown of creation? The animal or the human? So you show mercy to an animal that falls into a pit on a Sabbath, you break the Sabbath to say, oh, you know, You feel sorry for this animal and you don't want me to feel sorry for a human being. So where is your honesty? Where is your justice here? My beloved,
when the Lord says, I desire mercy, not a sacrifice, the Lord is saying not only to the Israelite people, but he's saying it to all of us as Christians. We are the Israel of the New Testament. The Lord is saying, before you come to my house, to my church, before you come and serve me, before you come and sacrifice your time for me, Because you see, you being here in the church, that is a form of a sacrifice. Why?
Because this time, you could have used it elsewhere. You could have gone to the club, you could have gone to the city, you could have gone to Bondi Beach, mate, and get some more vitamin D into your body, but you chose to come to the church and listen to this good, old-looking bishop. So that is a form of a sacrifice. So the Lord says... I came seeking mercy, not sacrifice. It is not that I don't want you to sacrifice, no. But I want you to get the order right. Do not sacrifice without mercy. I want mercy first, then give me an offering. Then sacrifice. Now why? It says, my son and my daughter... What is the point of you coming to church every Sunday but there is no mercy in your heart toward your neighbor? What is the
point of you worshipping me but there is no mercy in your heart toward others? What is the point of you coming, praising me, preaching about me, talking about me but there is no mercy in your heart? I want you to be merciful then offer me your sacrifice. And what is mercy? Mercy. Christ hanging on the cross. That is the mercy of God to the entire human race.
Christ hanging on the cross. That is the mercy of God. Now what is Christ hanging on the cross? It means that Jesus died in the flesh. For someone like me who is definitely and entirely and totally unworthy of this kind of a sacrifice. Jesus died for someone like me unworthy of this merciful act. Yet Jesus still went ahead and did it for the unworthy like me. I was the one who denied him. I was the one who sold him. I was the one who walked away from him.
I was the one who transgressed against him. I was the one who broke his word. I was the one who left him behind. I was the one who chose Satan over him. Caesar, not Christ. I was all of that. Yet Christ still went ahead and died for me who denied him completely. So mercy is only mercy when you do it for someone who is totally against you. Mercy is an act based on love towards someone who is an enemy to you. If you show an act of love for someone that loves you, that is not mercy at all. The Lord says, if you invite somebody who invites you back, you have received your reward from that person.
You have no reward with God. You invited him, he invited you back. That's it. We've equalized now. You paid him, he paid you. Why are you coming to me seeking reward? You got it from the human. With God, you have no reward. But when you do something that no man can pay you back, then God will. Then God will.
And when will people not pay you back? When you do an act based on love towards someone that can't stand you. That is always against you. A person that's really hurt you, but you still go ahead and show an act of based on love, which is now classified as mercy. You see the Israelite people with all love and respect, They focused on Sabbath as a day. Until now, there are people, even in the New Testament, there are people go to worship Jesus Christ on Saturday. It's not our topic today. But they go and they, because why?
Because they say, hey, God's day is Sabbath, Saturday, not Sunday. So the church has broken the law Because one of the commandments, you know when God gave Moses the Ten Commandments? One of those commandments says, sanctify Sabbath for me. And God in creation, when you read in the book of Genesis chapter 1 and onwards, you'll see God created everything and then God rested on Sabbath. Shabbat. Shabbat. Shabbath in Hebrew or Shabtah in Aramaic Syriac literally means like stillness. silence, tranquility.
So God rested on Sabbath. So they took Sabbath as a day. My beloveds, When you read in the days of creation, if we're going to take the days literally only, we've got a problem. First of all, the Holy Bible is the salvific book of God to the entire human race. It's a salvific plan of God to the entire human race.
The Holy Bible is spiritual. Spiritual. So you need to understand the spiritual side to the Word of God. You see, that field of wheat, the Lord was deliberate by taking those disciples through the wheat field. He was deliberate in this. Why? Because the grain of wheat represents the Lord Jesus. The Lord Jesus in John chapter 6, He says, I am the living bread. Where do you get bread from? Wheat.
I am the living bread that descended from heaven. He who eats me shall live in me forever. So that wheat, that grain of wheat is Christ himself. He is the bread, the living bread that came down from heaven. So when you come to the grain of wheat, which is Christ, who is Christ? The logos, the word. And what is the word? The word is the law of God. So when you come to understand what Christ is saying, do not stay at the surface level. Because at the surface level, all you get from a grain of wheat is a shell that covers that actual grain. You cannot eat that shell.
You need to rub it and remove the shell in order to eat that pure grain of wheat. So, The Lord is saying, to understand my word, you cannot take it in the literal sense. You need to dive deep down and understand the spiritual hidden meanings beneath that shell. Remove the shell in order to understand the spiritual meaning.
So when we come to the days of creation, at a surface level, it begins with Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Shabbat, Saturday. That's the literal meaning. They're days. But when you look from day one to day six, from Sunday to Friday, you will see all these days have a beginning and have an end. And there was evening and there was morning, day one. And there was evening and there was morning, day two. And there was evening and there was morning, day three and so on till day six. Now evening is the beginning. Morning is the end. You see with God the day begins with evening. But it ends with day.
Evening darkness. Day light. But with the world the day begins with light. Ends with darkness. So what the world gives you first is the day. Gives you good. To later on feed you with evil. deceives you with the light to draw you to darkness. And what is the darkness of this world? The grave. Death. Finito. So when you go out and chase the world, the world will show you all the pleasures, all the treasures of it, to draw you, to bring you in, to lure you in, to make it look so beautiful and tasty to the mouth.
And you start chasing it and saying, this is it. Look at me, I'm living. What a great life. It's a day. It's a beautiful. But at the end, if you continue chasing the world, it will give you the lies, the lie of all lies. It will bury you beneath the soil. And everything you gained, gone with the wind.
But when you come to God, The beginning with God is evening, darkness, but the end is light. Darkness, death, light, life. With God, it is eternal life at the end. If you die at the beginning to your old Adam, you will live in the end, in the new latter Adam forever. And the latter Adam is the truth. With Christ, There is one thing at the end guaranteed, eternal life. You will never die. So when you look at the days, day one to day six, all of them have beginning and end. Day seven, Shabbat, has neither beginning nor end.
There is no mention of, and there was evening, and there was morning in day seven. There was no mention. So day seven is still happening till today, hasn't finished. Therefore you don't take the days literally. So what does it mean God rested on Shabbat Saturday? When does God rest? God will rest only in one situation on one condition.
When all of us are sin free. He is the father. And when as a father or a mother. As parents, when do they rest? When they see their children in their presence, wholesome, happy, prosperous, successful. Do parents stop working? Never. Till the last breath of their life, they sacrifice for their children. But with all the hard work and with all the hard labor. They work upon years and years and years of hard hardships going through hell to give a life for their children. But the moment that son, that daughter walk through the front door of the house and say, hi mom, hi dad, I came to say hello and to say I love you. All their hard work disappears because all they care about is one thing.
My son, my daughter are healthy. happy in my presence and I will do the hard work all my life just to guarantee that they are with me happy and healthy how much more your heavenly father works unceasingly to guarantee his kingdom for all of us to enter his holy house to enter the father's house at the end to be in his presence healthy happy prosperous forever with him.
That is the day when God rests. So when was this day made possible for God to rest? When his son rose from the dead. So what is Saturday's Shabbat? Shabbat is not a day. Shabbat is the person of Christ. That is the person where God the Father rested in. And he said it very clearly at the river Jordan. Behold, this is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased.
I am well pleased mean in whom I have rested finally. Why? Because all human beings... failed me and broke my word and broke my heart. The only human that is perfect like me, sinless, is Jesus of Nazareth. In this person only I rest because he is the only one that never transgressed against me. He is the only one who fulfilled my word, my commandment, my law. In him I rest.
And whoever chooses my son as their Lord and Savior, then I will rest in you through my son. My son is the spiritual Shabbat, is the true Shabbat, is the real Shabbat. Not a day, the day doesn't make God rest for God's sake. God is dad and dad will not rest until his children are sin free. And that sinful status, sinless, sorry, that sinless status was made possible when Jesus died, was buried, and rose from the dead.
When did the Lord rise? On Sunday. And on Sunday morning, he said to Mary Magdalene, for the first time ever in the Lord's entire life, go and tell my brothers. You see, Theologically speaking, Jesus cannot have biological brothers, so please grow up. Mary is virgin of all virgins forever, for God's sake. Don't you dare make this grieve mistake.
You're upsetting the Lord Mary is virgin and mother at the same time theologically impossible for the Lord to have biological brothers you know I it's impossible for the Lord to have a brother that is a sinner Because the Lord is the son of God. How can you be the son of God and still have sins in you?
Your father is God. God is the holy of holies. His son has to be like him. Sinless like him. Holy like him. Perfect like him. The only one who is like the father is the son. And the only one who is sinless as a human is Jesus. No one else. The Lord while on earth prior to the crucifixion He never said to nobody, you're my brother. Never.
People said it. But did he say it? No. Read the New Testament properly. He never said it. When did he say it himself? Go and tell my brothers. After resurrection. Why after resurrection? Because after resurrection, I paid your debt. I paid your price. I washed your sins away with my precious blood. Now that you are sin free, now I can call you brother. Because since your sins are forgiven by my blood, now I call you brother. When the Son of God calls me brother, then I become the Son of God. And the only way to be the Son of God is to be sinless. On Sunday resurrection, when the Lord says to Mary Magdalene, go and tell my brothers, I'm ascending to my father and your father, my God and your God. That day, God the Father rested.
Because his son paid the price. And he washed the sins of those who believed in him. Of those who believed in him. He died for the whole world, but not the whole world accepted him. But those who accepted him, he washed their sins away. And whoever comes now and accepts Christ, he will wash their sin away. But if you don't come, you will remain in your sin. You are sentenced to everlasting punishment and death. It is only through the Son we are set free. And the moment we are set free from our sinful status, The father rests because his children finally are sin free. So Shabbat is Christ for Christ's sake, not a day. Now, the Lord is saying, what saved you, my beloved, is mercy. Mercy.
What delivered you, my beloved, is my mercy. That's why when it comes to mercy, I don't negotiate. It's mandatory for a Christian to have mercy in their hearts. And what is the sign of mercy? Forgiveness. The Lord Jesus said seven statements while hanging on the cross. The very first statement ever uttered out of His holy mouth while He is nailed on the cross. He says, Father, forgive them for they do not know what they do. Forgive them.
It was the forgiveness of the Father to us through His beloved Son, the Lamb of God who carries away the sins of the world. It was that forgiveness that saved me and you. But that mercy was sent by love. Because love couldn't do it on its own. God is love. And God is justice. But the attributes of God are equal.
Meaning there is no contradiction in God. Otherwise you wouldn't follow a God that changes his mind all the time. What kind of God is that? I can't trust him. One day he says one thing, the next he says something else. There is this verse now, after a year another verse came and over read that other. What kind of a God is this? God can never change. His word is everlasting. His way is everlasting. He is holy, He is perfect, cannot change. So God is love, God is justice. Neither love is greater than justice, nor justice greater than love. Neither of the two can override the other.
They're equal. So when God created us, he created us on the basis of love. However, he said to Adam, the day you eat from this tree, surely you shall die. And when Adam ate, God's justice had to be fulfilled because God can never change, cannot go back on his word. Adam, if you eat from this forbidden tree, you will die 100%.
Adam ate, Adam had to die, otherwise God's justice would have been broken. And since God is holy, never changing, then Adam has to die. Not two ways about it. So when Adam died, God's justice was fulfilled. However, God created Adam to be his son. And as the father, how can he see his son going to eternal death?
If God allowed Adam or let Adam to go to eternal death, he would have broken his love. And if he had forgiven Adam just like that out of thin airs, he would have broken his justice. God is stuck. To bring Adam back, his justice he would break. And if he sentenced Adam to hell, his love would be broken.
Either way, God is... He's lost the case. But God can't fail. So what did he do? He did the impossible. He brought mercy to fix love and justice. To unite love and justice. He brought mercy. And what is mercy? His beloved son. He said, son, Adam broke my word. You don't. Can you be Adam, please? And pay the price so that my justice is served. The wages of sin is death. That's my justice. Adam sinned. He has to die. So can you be Adam and die on his behalf? So that way, when you serve my justice, my son, then through my love, I can call the former Adam back to me lawfully. And the son said, dad, will that make you happy? He said, yes, my son.
He says, dad, the only reason I'm going to do it is because I want to see a smile on your face. Then I'm more than happy to do it for you, dad. Not for anyone, but for you. The son came to do the will of the father. I did not come to do but the will of my father. Don't call me Lord, Lord. If you truly love me, do the will of my father. And the Holy Mother did the will of the Father. That's why I love her so much. Not just because she's my mom, but more so she did the will of my Father. And whoever does the will of my Father, I will love them the way I loved my mother. So the Son came and became Adam. Like St. Paul says it in his epistle to the Corinthians, Christ is the latter Adam.
That's what we call typology. It's the study of typology. You need to understand how to interpret the Holy Bible. There are so many ways to interpretation. One of them is typology. So Christ is the type, the likeness of Adam. He became the letter Adam. He died in his place. And then he paid the price. The wages of sin is death. Christ, the letter Adam, died and through his blood served and fulfilled the justice of God. When his justice was served And fulfilled. God the father said to the former Adam. Now since you accepted my son. I accept you back. Lawfully. Based on love. But it was the mercy. That saved me and you. Foundational. To a Christian. Life.
And a follower of Christ. Is mercy. Foundational. If you cannot. If you cannot, if you will not forgive someone who has hurt you, Christ doesn't know you. It's simple, very frightening. Let me tell you this. There are so many situations that we go through simply because we are not able to forgive those who have hurt us. We go through situations and then we say, where is God? Why isn't He answering me? Ah, well, He's not answering you because you are not forgiving. Because since Jesus is God, He's not going to go back on His word. What did He say when He taught the Lord's prayer, when the disciples came asking the Lord, teach us on how to pray.
You find it in Matthew 6, 9 and Luke 11, 3. He said, every time you pray, you say, our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, la, la, la, la. Seven statements. At the end of the seven statements, the Lord elaborates on one statement only out of the seven. Just to say to all of us the importance. He made an emphasis on this one verse to say this verse alone, if you do it, you have my attention.
What was that verse that the Lord elaborated? If you forgive other people's mistakes, your heavenly father will forgive yours. But if you do not forgive, neither your heavenly father will forgive yours. My goodness. Don't argue with the Lord. He will never change his mind. If you forgive, my father will forgive you. If you don't, neither my father will forgive you. And if the father doesn't forgive, I'm in deep trouble. I'm finished, dead, gone. When you forgive someone who has hurt you, you're doing yourself a favor, not them. Don't ever think you are humiliating yourself. Now that's an act of weakness. I can't be humiliated this way.
I will never bow before this person. They need to come and bow before my feet and ask me to forgive them. They need to beg for it. I will never forgive them unless they come. Listen. You want to live, my dear friend, you forgive. Don't worry about what happens. You want to live, you forgive. If you want to live in misery, don't forgive. You will never be happy, no matter what you do. Because peace, happiness, only God gives.
And God, no one can bluff him. No one can bribe him. No one can force him to do anything. He does it as he wishes, according to his word. The law. You forgive, I forgive you. You don't forgive, I don't forgive you. You can come to church all your life. You can pray to me all your life. These are sacrifices. I did not come seeking sacrifices. I came seeking mercy. You see, you can come to church and bang on your chest, Lord, I love you. Please have mercy on me. Forgive me. The Lord has an ear shut because he looks at you and he says, well, you haven't forgiven your neighbor. I won't hear you no matter how much you cry. Read my word. Learn my word.
And do by it. And until you do by it, I don't know you. But when you come and say, Lord, help me to forgive. I genuinely want to forgive those who have really hurt me. From the bottom of my heart, I want to forgive them. Help me, Lord. Now the Lord is happy. He will 100% help you. Man, and it's so awesome. Try it, please. I beg you. Yeah.
try it i've tried it by the grace of the lord only because this is something only god gives and only god does through you when you truly genuinely forgive someone who really gave you hell man you are the happiest the lightest you're lighter than a feather You are so happy, so filled and fulfilled, so peaceful from within.
It is not a feeling, it's an experience, a life you live and you taste you have never, ever, ever, ever tasted because no one can give it except Jesus Christ of Nazareth who is God revealed in the flesh. When you forgive from the heart to someone who's been a pain, man, what kind of a joy that is. Stunning.
In fact, you're free. And do you know when you are truly living? When you are free. A slave alive is dead. But the son who is free is living. You will never live until you are the son. For as long as you're a slave, you're dead even if you're alive. But the true life is only tasted and truly lived when you become the son of God. And that's only made possible by Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Do what he says and you shall live. After you show mercy, offer your sacrifices now. It will be acceptable. But you offer sacrifices without mercy, rejected. Rejected by God. So all your prayers, all your shouting, all your preaching, gone with the wind. But when you show mercy to others and you come and preach, the world changes. When you come,
forgive and you sing to the Lord, the hearts change. When you forgive and you come and worship the Lord, you have changed. God has changed you. Made you a totally different person to what you were before. Then you are free. And when you're free, you're alive. And if the Son sets you free, truly you are free. That's why the Lord says, I am the truth. Because only in the truth there is life. And this is how it comes. I'm the way, the truth. What comes of the truth? The life. Because if you're living a lie, how can you live? But if you're living the truth, you're alive. And when you're alive, that means you're free.
Why you were free? Because you walked in the way. And who is the way? Christ. When you walk in his way, You're walking in the truth. And while you're walking in the truth, you have the life. And that life is given to the son, not to the slave. I came to seek mercy, not sacrifice. Don't tell me my disciples broke the law because they ate on a Sabbath.
What kind of a mentality is that? You need to grow up. For God's sake, I'm the Sabbath. Sabbath is not a day. is a person called Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Are you in the Sabbath? Or are you outside the Sabbath? When you have Christ, you can worship God every single day, my dear friend. You don't need a specific day. We can celebrate the Holy Mass Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
Because now all the days are made to serve the Son of Man. The days are made to serve Christ, not the other way around. And the Lord of the Sabbath is the Son of Man. He says it. What was I made for Sabbath or Sabbath made for me? So you're going to go and honor the Sabbath and dishonor the true Sabbath, Christ? Now that is a twisted mentality. Blind.
My children, seek the Lord from the heart. He is your true Sabbath where God the Father rests when Christ is your Lord and Savior. Amen? Very good. Let's bow our heads and ask the Lord Jesus who is our true Sabbath to forgive us our sins and make us worthy to come forth and receive Him in the true body and the true blood of Christ. Amen. Our good God and full of mercy, our good God and full of mercy, whose grace and mercy is poured upon all. Pour, my Lord, the compassion of the delightfulness of your love upon your servants, and again transform them in the hope of renewal to the life of repentance. Renew in them your Holy Spirit, by whom they are sealed for the day of salvation. Purify them by your compassion from all
flesh and spiritual blemishes, and assure the hope of their faith by the aid of your grace, and instill the walks of their behavior in the paths of righteousness. Please them along with the saints in your kingdom by the assurance of the hope of their faith in the adoption as your children and in the joy of your absolving mysteries.
Empower them by the aid of your mercies to observe your commandments and fulfill your will to confess, worship, and praise your holy name, the Lord of all. Father and Son.
