S12 Ep5: The Disappearing Wife

Geoffrey Wansell tells the shocking story of Adrian Prout, a charming man whose dark side would ultimately claim the life of his wife, Kate. From a seemingly happy life running a pheasant farm in Gloucestershire to violent arguments, disappearances, and a twisted web of lies, Prout’s actions kept everyone on edge.

A murder with no body, a wife’s diary revealing fear and desperation, and a fiancée who campaigned tirelessly for his innocence — until the truth came out. This is a gripping tale of deception, obsession, and one man’s ability to fool everyone around him… until he couldn’t.
