The essentials of postpartum nutrition - with Pre & Post-Natal Dietitian Caitlin Ireland

Caitlin Ireland is an Accredited Practising Dietitian & Nutritionist, a Certified Prenatal Dietitian, a qualified Sports Dietitian with over 10 years of experience, and our new KICBump dietitian!!
We wanted to have Caitlin on KICBump to talk all things pre-natal & post-natal nutrition, including nutritional requirements during pregnancy & postpartum, incorporating allergens into your diet during pregnancy, the pressure to eat perfectly during pregnancy, ideas for balanced meals, foods to support postpartum recovery, and how exercise impacts breastmilk supply.
Please note: the advice discussed in this episode is general in nature, and is not intended to be prescriptive in any way. If you are pregnant or postpartum, it is important to discuss all dietary and supplemental changes with your Obstetrician, GP, or Certified Prenatal Dietitian first.
