The Reunion - Samhain Stories (Irish Mythology Podcast)

Conas taoi? How are ye? Welcome back to the Candlelit Tales podcast, where we tell Irish myths set to original music.
In this episode, we’re getting into spooky season with a sinister take on the changelingstories, inspired by a tale in a collection by Lady Jane Wilde. Sadness and loss were always in Ireland, and the changeling gave an explanation to the loss of innocent children when no other explanations could be found. A meeting with one of the dead at this time of year can be to deliver an even more sinister message. This one does not have a happy ending.
Please note the content of these stories may be triggering for some listeners, please take care of yourself as you listen. This story contains allusions to death by drowning, poverty, and alienation.
