This is a show about the things we keep, the stuff that probably looks like nothing to anyone else, but for some reason, you can never throw it away. Every episode, I'll be chatting to someone about the bits and pieces they've held on to and what those things say about the person they were.
When they found them. It's a perfect addition to your collection. That's what I thought. Because, yes, sometimes we collect things. Sometimes a lot of things.
But most of the time, I think we're really just trying to hold on to a feeling and a memory.
That is a word that I learned from reading your books.
Ephemera. This is our child.
These are my treasures that I will continue building upon.
