reading the bible together: 1 Kings

Hey y'all ! Welcome to another Friday with CWCOI ! In this week's episode, our host, Ally Yost reads through 1 Kings chapters 1 and 2. These two chapters walk through Soloman becoming King of Israel after his father, David's death. Soloman further establishes his Kingdom by following his father's instructions and removing those who threaten his reign. Whether you have already read through this or maybe you have been meaning to, we encourage you to sit with God as we open His word together. Also, thank you guys for enduring me trying to figure out how to pronounce half of these words, we're figuring it out together lol.
"Observe the requirements of the LORD your God, and follow all his ways. Keep the decrees, commands, regulations, and laws written in the Law of Moses so that you will be successful in all you do and wherever you go." 1 Kings 2:3
