What does it really mean to be a peacemaker? The seventh Beatitude, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God,” reveals that biblical peacemaking is much different from the world’s concept of peace. Many people think peace means avoiding conflict or compromising truth, but Jesus revealed something far greater.
In “Blessed Are The Peacemakers,” Duane Sheriff teaches that peacemaking is not appeasement, compromise, or tolerance of evil. Instead, peacemakers courageously enter conflict to reconcile people to God’s truth and to one another. Jesus is the ultimate Peacemaker, reconciling us to God at the cost of His own life.
Discover why true peace is never built on compromise and how believers can bring God’s peace into a world filled with conflict, fear, and division.
