How does that chastening work in our lives? God uses His Word and the Holy Spirit to instruct, warn, rebuke, and course-correct us when we move in the wrong direction. His chastening brings conviction, not guilt or condemnation. Conviction reminds us who we are in Christ, leads us back to the right path, and draws us closer to Him.
