Okay, so like I said, I don't think that he meant to say that. I think he meant to say that African Americans were doing better than ever, but he said something. He said that the poverty is higher than ever. Like I said, Freudian slip, but the Freudian slip sometimes comes from a truthful place. Or at least a truth in your heart.

Yeah, but the.

Truth is it's a stat that Black wealth is down 25% over the last three years.

So let's get into this because this is a stat, but we need to really unpack this. So, okay, the Federal Reserve study from 2022 to 2025, the last three years, Black families' net worth declined from $ 49, 000 to $ 36, 000.

So that's a 25% decrease.

Mm-hmm.

Whereas white families' net worth increased to.

$ 332, 000. Mm-hmm.

Hispanic families increased to 79,000 and Asian families increased to a whopping 677,000. So Asian families have 677,000 average on the net worth and black families have an average of 36,000. Now that's a few important things to keep in mind here. Talking about families, not individual networks. That's, that's important to keep in mind, but also The greatest story here is that from 2019 to 2022, black medium wealth actually increased 60%.

Yep. The largest percentage gain amongst any major group.

Yep.

So from 2019, maybe it's just a coincidence when we started in 2019.

Could be a coincidence. But from 2019 to 2022.

Precipitous incline. When you start to see people come out the dark ages and learn about finances and actually get excited about investing and ownership and entrepreneurship, a 60% increase happens.

And all of a sudden, here comes the paid attack to thwart that.

And all of a sudden... Out of nowhere, everything.

And once again, it could be a coincidence, but a new administration comes with a very starched anti-DEI movement, getting rid of federal jobs.

Yep.

Hundreds of thousands of black women find unemployment insecurity.

Black entrepreneurship see lower rates.

Home ownership starts to stagger and values of home start to go down for the first time in a long time where people are losing equities in their home.

Inflation goes up.

Inflation goes up and it becomes harder for, for college students to, to get.

A basic job.

I was talking yesterday with Ibro and Laura, like the summer jobs that were available for kids and the entry level jobs are being taken by people with 55 and over.

100%. So the headline is, oh, this is a gaffe that he said.

And then the other headline is, well, black wealth decreased by 25% while everybody else increased.

That's the headline. And then that's, oh, yeah, well, black people, he's not doing shit.

But like I said, if you take a wider look at this perspective, at this situation, right before that, black wealth increased by 60%.

All-time high. Investment accounts at an all-time high for black people.

As soon as people start to come out the dark ages.

Mm-hmm.

And the light starts to turn on as far as finance. You see a coordinated attack and you see the results of that coordinated attack. So everybody that's like, oh, it's not real. Project 2025 or nobody actually benefited from DEI anyway. And no, who works for the government? And all these stats are not real. You actually seen it in real time where people are actually having less money where everybody else is. on the economic spectrum is still having economic uptrends.

And not that it makes it more valuable, but even when I personally get pushback about any investment advice, I always say like, you never hear any pushback from any investors with a lot of money. It's usually people in our community who are paid by other people to attack us. Like you never hear Dave Rubenstein or fucking Josh Brown or Bono and ever be like, yo, the advice is wrong.

But if I can get, a slight portion of the community, 15% even, to say, I don't know about Ian and Rashad. It has a tremendous impact. Because even if you miss out on five months of gains, those five months could have changed your life forever. And then on top of that, they got you to stop investing and then go gamble.

I keep saying it.

I've never heard more people say, that one dude told me, indexes are a scam.

And I go to his threads, he in a nine-leg parlay. I'm like, bro, we lost the war.

It's over with.

Right after we really start to enlighten people about index funds and ETF and tech stocks and how to buy a home the right way.

The right way, yes.

When rates were low.

And how to use equity in your home and how to start the right businesses and not failing businesses, brick and mortar. Right when we start that, you see an asserted uptick in online gambling. Yes.

At the highest level.

At the highest level. Prediction markets.

Yep.

Slashes to government funded initiatives. DEI crackdowns. Less corporate sponsorships. Hundreds of thousands of black people that can no longer find a job.

They trading on options.

And then that's why.

Look. You got to put these pieces to the puzzle together. We actually are making a difference. There's a concerted effort to stop that. That's why I said your number one focus should be financial empowerment economics. It starts with the household. It starts with your household, financial economic empowerment moving forward.

The thought of a collective, even the whole black anti-capitalism movement, you can't have a collective without having a strong undertone. First, a million broke people, still a million broke people. Like you, somebody got to have some money. Somebody got to have some money. So it's like any, everything that we're seeing right now is a distraction. Especially going into the election season.

So it's like, even when you see like, look, if the messaging is like, um, There's a demonic force coming in Texas.

What are we talking?

The demonic force been here for 400 years.

That's what's keeping you. It's not coming. It's already here.

That's the one that cut your net worth by 25% intentionally.

And if you don't know in politics, even for a local campaign right now, you're spending upwards of 300 grand to get a local official elected.

We're not even talking a governor's race or.

What are we talking about? We need money for that. We're trying to uphold values that we never had.

And on top of that, while the other side is running up billions and trillions of dollars for themselves.

You have no allies. The demons is already there. They've already permeated the gate. They've been here for 400 years. You have no allies. If you're not talking a message of financial empowerment... you're highly questionable to me because like I said, if it wasn't important, why is there such an.

Asserted effort to demonize it?

And then when you start to look at the things, as far as we learned, 60 million Americans can't read. Now it's easy to manipulate the masses of people because there's a large majority of uneducated people.

So when you can put any type of narrative out there and.

You could switch bait and focus on one thing while you take it.

Exactly. Look over here. It's the magic trick.

A good musician makes you focus on something while he's doing something else.

So look here while I take money out of your pocket. By the time you realize the money's out of your pocket, it's too late.

Cost of living is higher than it's ever been.

Inflation, unaffordability in housing, the interest rates on housing are high. And I keep saying it like everyone I've talked to that is rich is concerned and doing more because if inflation keeps going away, that is not.

And I was even talking about this yesterday.

Like even as kids, like if you may, this is the first time in my life where I've seen adults hit their dream income and they still feel broke. In 2001, if you had 300,000 coming in a year, you were balling. And, and, Our net worth, black family net worth is 37,000. Yeah.

Asian's net worth is, family's net worth is 677,000. That's the median net worth. Medium.

Yeah.

How many conversations do you see about 50-50 relationships in the Asian algorithm? How many debates about religion do you see in the Asian algorithm? How many debates about what we should do, what we shouldn't do?

If you should invest or not.

All of this shit that we're talking about is a distraction. Because we're at the lowest level.

Even how in our community we talk about sports, every other community talks about business like that. That's why if I have a conversation, I don't want to talk.

About no bullshit because there's too much real stuff going on in the world.

And even like if you have an accident or an emergency come up, all the emergencies are three to seven grand now. So in one shot, that's when people are like, well, you need six months saved. I'm like, that never was the real number. That was the number that they put in a book because it was palatable to the normal person.

That's why I keep saying I'm only talking to the elite. Y'all thought I was crazy when I was like, you need five years of reserves. Six months, not going to get it done.

Who's the Asian political leader? That all the Asians follow?

Nobody.

Who's the Asian civil rights leader that all the Asians follow? Who's the Asian superstar musician in America that has all of the Asians captivated?

Asians, I'm talking about Indians. I'm talking about who's the superstar musician? Who's the number one musician that's an Asian?

Yeah.

Who's the number one athlete outside of Tashawn, the baseball player? Shout out to him.

Who's the number one Asian... Who's the number one Asian pastor?

Kim Jong-un.

What I'm trying to say is we focused on the wrong shit.

And those people are paid.

100%.

That's paid propaganda. And we've never... Look, we... They either kill our leadership or buy it. And we're spoiled with leadership. That's what 19 Keys said a long time ago. We've had tremendous leaders from Marcus Garvey, Malcolm X, Martin Luther King.

So we're always looking for like that one savior.

Yeah.

We're looking for a savior.

Whereas the workable model is the work in silos and have just a code of ethics and standard that you follow. I don't need to have a set person that is the blueprint for me to follow. You know what you need to do? Don't disgrace your family. Make sure you get married. Make sure you get degrees and shit that matters.

Or you're not getting a degree.

Save money. Don't spend above your means. Reinvest into the family.

Buy a house. invest your money into the stock market. This is the shit. This is a workable model.

Yeah.

Everything else that we hyper focus on as a community means absolutely nothing. And it's the reason why we're at the lowest level of the fucking spectrum. And we keep doubling down on this shit.

Yeah.
