#120 - Spoiler Alert, Part 1: Can You See Everything?

SPOILER ALERT!! This week we are pleased to welcome back returning guest, Brother Isaac, of Coexist, Inc. podcast to discuss the Biggest Movie of the Year: Nathan Fielder’s pseudo-documentary “You Can See Everything.” We do talk about the movie itself, so if you hate spoilers and haven’t seen it yet, maybe wait a bit to listen.
We explore many of the discursive threads that have sprung out of the film including the obvious question of Liz’s and Billy’s respective degrees of culpability, but we also bring in the Fourth Reich lens and discuss the possibility that the whole Theranos scam was a spectacular sacrifice of one tech grifter for the survival and prosperity of thousands more, who continue to rake in money hand over foot on equally specious promises. Is Elizabeth Holmes a patsy? Lis Holmsey Oswald? Is she a criminal mastermind? A mind-control/grooming victim? Autistic?
It’s a fun ride and our first ever movie episode. We hope you’ll enjoy it!
