Six and a half hours of waiting, endless rain, no medical helicopter and ultimately no Grand Prix. Not exactly the fairytale ending we'd hoped for at Phillip Island!

Gavin, Neil and Sylvain reunite to dissect a thoroughly miserable farewell to one of MotoGP's greatest circuits. Was cancellation inevitable? Could the Grand Prix have been moved to Saturday? And did the weekend inadvertently demonstrate why the Australian GP is moving to Adelaide?

Thankfully, Saturday gave us something to remember. Marc Marquez produced a scarcely believable qualifying performance before going toe-to-toe with Jorge Martin in a thrilling, shortened Sprint. The Aprilia might have been the faster bike, but Marquez had other ideas.

Martin's subsequent crash and fractured wrist could prove decisive in the World Championship. With Marquez now 10 points clear, has the title slipped away from Aprilia? Or could there still be another twist?

We discuss Marquez's extraordinary racecraft, Martin's costly mistake, Bezzecchi's fading hopes and why Aprilia might actually have been relieved that Sunday's race never happened.

Plus, Jack Miller ensures Phillip Island gets at least one memorable farewell, Neil explains why he's not entirely sad to see the back of the circuit's facilities, and we look ahead to Malaysia, where the heat, humidity and championship tension will all be rising.

If in doubt, Gas It Out!
