[SPEAKER_02]: 5, 6, 7, 8, appreciate. [SPEAKER_02]: Let's talk to a man who really appreciates this series. [SPEAKER_02]: He appreciates it so much. [SPEAKER_02]: All right, here we go. [SPEAKER_02]: Hi everybody, welcome back to Gilmour to say with Tara and Haley. [SPEAKER_02]: I'm Tara, this is Haley.

[SPEAKER_02]: Hi, Haley. [SPEAKER_02]: Hi Tara. [SPEAKER_02]: Especially Thursday initially. [SPEAKER_02]: Yes, special Thursday because our man brought we talked to him for a very long time. [SPEAKER_02]: And we had, so we had so much to say, we had to split it into two. [SPEAKER_01]: So much to say that probably could have been shorter, but like, [SPEAKER_01]: I feel like when you put the three of us together, everything turns into a bit.

[SPEAKER_02]: Everything, a little bit, a bit, a bit. [SPEAKER_02]: We're just a bit. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, we're just a bunch of little, we're grand bitties. [SPEAKER_02]: It's true. [SPEAKER_02]: But we thought it would be really fun to split this episode into. [SPEAKER_02]: And here, what else Brad has to say about season 6 and 7, we kind of talked about, we tried to talk about them in chronological order, but I mean, really.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's also hard to talk about in chronological order with someone who doesn't think about this show that way. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, totally. [SPEAKER_02]: And he was so fresh on season seven, like I feel like he was just like in another thing and another thing and another thing and another thing and another thing and so There was so many things we didn't even get to.

[SPEAKER_01]: I know because I remember with our again more gallant time this last Saturday Some people were asking us like what breath thought about Lucy and Olivia because they came up during the event as they do and we didn't ask him. [SPEAKER_02]: But on that note, if you do want to watch a Gilmore Valentine, if you weren't able to come last Saturday, when we hunter event on Valentine's Day, you can still rewatch and replay the event like we've done in years past.

[SPEAKER_02]: So you can go to our Patreon. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, the silliness will drop in in our show notes too, but it's available to still get a ticket still replay the event. [SPEAKER_02]: We have a lot of fun. [SPEAKER_02]: it was really so good. [SPEAKER_01]: And if you did have a ticket and you didn't attend, you can just get to where you purchased or take it and watch it.

[SPEAKER_01]: We had too much fun. [SPEAKER_01]: There was really a lot of the version of them so far to one pool. [SPEAKER_01]: There was a portion of this because we played a game you never played before that like involved pulling names out of a little bowl that like I now went to incorporate into every episode we do because I had so much fun.

[SPEAKER_01]: It was like, it was the kind of laughing where I couldn't breathe anymore. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like I was reasing. [SPEAKER_01]: And like, I was so funny. [SPEAKER_02]: Was laughing at haily laughing at everything. [SPEAKER_02]: It was just it was so funny to watch you react. [SPEAKER_01]: It was great.

[SPEAKER_01]: Also, looking at it in retrospect, when we were putting the game together, I was doing the putting of the names into the bowl. [SPEAKER_01]: And I was laughing while I was doing it. [SPEAKER_01]: Tara was like, what do you laughing at? [SPEAKER_01]: I was like, oh, just wait, you'll see what we do it.

[SPEAKER_01]: And then when it came time to do it, I was the one who was getting all the things I was going to do. [SPEAKER_02]: I got caught. [SPEAKER_01]: I got caught. [SPEAKER_01]: I got caught. [SPEAKER_01]: Get more to get caught. [SPEAKER_02]: Get more to get back. [SPEAKER_02]: I got caught. [SPEAKER_02]: I got caught.

[SPEAKER_02]: The theme. [SPEAKER_02]: And Gilmour Gallantine, 2020. [SPEAKER_01]: So it's like an hour and 45 minutes of us just like having a time. [SPEAKER_01]: We had a time. [SPEAKER_01]: We did. [SPEAKER_02]: We had a great time. [SPEAKER_02]: If you guys were there, you know. [SPEAKER_02]: And if you weren't, you could still watch.

[SPEAKER_02]: You could still enjoy. [SPEAKER_01]: You could still watch. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: And something you can't join, which feels rude to say, is we did have our in-person a Gilmore Gallantine on Friday and then you romantic bookstore in Orlando. [SPEAKER_01]: We had so much fun. [SPEAKER_01]: It was so truly great.

[SPEAKER_01]: The best time. [SPEAKER_01]: And we definitely want to do more Gilmore Gallantines in-person. [SPEAKER_01]: because we just had a great time. [SPEAKER_01]: It was also super fun because it was like a mix of like y'all who are big listeners, but also people who had never listened before and were just big fans of the new romantics and saw that they had to get more goals event and were like sold, done, bought it, like, there's so down.

[SPEAKER_01]: And now there are besties. [SPEAKER_01]: Loved them. [SPEAKER_01]: We had, I love that part. [SPEAKER_01]: I love that part. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm sorry, time. [SPEAKER_01]: I know, it was fun to like reintroduce the podcast to new people and us just wanting to find more and more people to bring into our little as a man to Montel decided our Gilmore girls cult Yeah, she's the one that decided she did we decided to chose this wife for rather she did choose this life for us, but yeah [SPEAKER_01]: with so much fun and we're so grateful for the new romantics in Orlando, Fira Romance, Garli, and you're nearby near Winter Park.

[SPEAKER_01]: Go, shop there. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it was so much fun. [SPEAKER_02]: Shout out to the new romantics. [SPEAKER_02]: They did such a great job and shout out to Haley's family, her mom, her sister, her sister, Romandi, they all just absolutely killed me. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, seriously. [SPEAKER_02]: It was truly good.

[SPEAKER_02]: I showed up for Golden Dance. [SPEAKER_02]: They did that. [SPEAKER_02]: They put the galling Valentine's. [SPEAKER_02]: It was a lot of fun and I just left the concept of like Friday night, girl dinner. [SPEAKER_02]: We had a dirty soda bar. [SPEAKER_02]: We had shirkuri dirty. [SPEAKER_02]: We had shirkuri like a whole shirkurri table with little desserts, little mini cupcakes.

[SPEAKER_02]: It was perfect. [SPEAKER_02]: And then you and I just like ate the leftover shirkurri for the day's following. [SPEAKER_01]: Like, uh, every meal after that was true. [SPEAKER_02]: And every meal after that was girl dinner, which I love, I love that love. [SPEAKER_02]: So, yeah, it was a lot of fun.

[SPEAKER_02]: I can't wait to do it again, whether that's for Valentine's Day or other, just like Friday night girl dinners. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, other events. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: So, it was a lot of fun speaking of. [SPEAKER_02]: I really wish that I could have brought Brett to that. [SPEAKER_02]: I think he would have had a really good time.

[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe I'll see if he can come to another one. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, because Brett, like definitely, would be one of the girls. [SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely, there you go. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it would be like we did have a, we did have one boyfriend, a supportive emotional support boyfriend. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he had a great time and I just think that I think Brett would be a great emotional support boy.

[SPEAKER_02]: He really would. [SPEAKER_02]: And I think that it would be a really fun time to like bring Brett to a Gilmour to say event and have him get to meet people, I just think it would be a lot of fun. [SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, our mascot. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, he is kind of our mascot. [SPEAKER_02]: But in the meantime, you can enjoy the rest of Brett's lots on season six and seven.

[SPEAKER_02]: And we talk about it. [SPEAKER_02]: I think at the end of this episode, but we really want to bring him back for when he watches here in the life. [SPEAKER_02]: We're going to take some time. [SPEAKER_02]: We're going to take a moment because I think that that's all I've heard of. [SPEAKER_01]: As the Gilmore stood, the Gilmourn stood.

[SPEAKER_01]: The Gilmourn, it was nine years. [SPEAKER_01]: I think that he needs nine months. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, okay. [SPEAKER_01]: I think that we need to give him a solid break, bring him back this fall with his year-in-the-life thoughts, with his, like, sees had some predictions, so I'm very fascinated to see.

[SPEAKER_01]: On that note, there was one question that was asked during Gilmourgallon time that we didn't answer, and that is, are you going to bring Brett along for our measled journey? [SPEAKER_01]: Because I'm Monday, you mentioned that something marvelous is coming. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, we did. [SPEAKER_01]: More to say on that very soon, [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but do you think that you'll bring Brett along for our marvelous Mrs. Mazzle, Mayhem?

[SPEAKER_02]: I think that I should, I think it would be a lot of fun. [SPEAKER_02]: We watched the first five episodes, a couple of years ago, and he loved it, loved it. [SPEAKER_02]: So that actually would be a really fun show to watch together like amidst this break we're doing with Gilmore Girls is very intentional break [SPEAKER_02]: I'll ask him.

[SPEAKER_02]: I'll see if he's interested because he really enjoyed that show. [SPEAKER_02]: And the marvelous Mr. Thiel. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, he is. [SPEAKER_01]: He would have to go back. [SPEAKER_02]: We'd have to go back to him. [SPEAKER_02]: I'd have to go back. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: And just kind of remind ourselves where we've come from.

[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, it was something he really, really enjoyed, but I think couldn't. [SPEAKER_02]: I don't think he wanted to be in both camps. [SPEAKER_02]: I think he needed to have like ten toes down in one. [SPEAKER_02]: Now he can be ten toes down. [SPEAKER_01]: You have to have to be in the early 2000s or in the 1950s from Amy's mind.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's true. [SPEAKER_01]: Thank you for the crossover might be a little too. [SPEAKER_01]: No, that's what I'm going to do. [SPEAKER_02]: I guess this is what you have. [SPEAKER_01]: You know Gilmour Girls so well. [SPEAKER_01]: It's dip that's my default base setting. [SPEAKER_01]: So yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: There will be more information on our maizeal pod, but again, this is on Patreon. [SPEAKER_01]: Go more to say it's not going anywhere, go more to say it's forever or until you stop lip-sending. [SPEAKER_01]: Whichever one comes first, it's true. [SPEAKER_02]: It's true. [SPEAKER_02]: But in the meantime, let's get into the rest of Breathyles' opinions.

[SPEAKER_02]: Let's talk to Brett. [SPEAKER_02]: Again. [UNKNOWN]: I can't. [SPEAKER_02]: Staying within season six and kind of speaking to characters doing things. [SPEAKER_02]: Maybe out of character. [SPEAKER_02]: The worry and Logan break up I want to talk about, but before we talk about that, I want to talk about Jess.

[SPEAKER_04]: What a man, what a man, what a man, what a mighty good man. [SPEAKER_02]: We watched, let me hear your ballet ghost ringing out, which is the episode famously where he says, why did you drop out of Yale two days before we got engaged? [SPEAKER_02]: And so a lot of people ended up seeing that reaction because we posted it on Instagram, and you really rode hard for that.

[SPEAKER_02]: I love you. [SPEAKER_01]: I loved it. [SPEAKER_01]: I loved it. [SPEAKER_01]: How did it feel when you first saw him? [SPEAKER_01]: When he popped back up on the screen? [SPEAKER_01]: Did you see him in the credits that he was going to be in that up? [SPEAKER_02]: No, he didn't. [SPEAKER_02]: I kept his attention.

[SPEAKER_02]: I was talking to him last night. [SPEAKER_02]: I did it on purpose because I didn't want you to see. [SPEAKER_02]: I was. [SPEAKER_02]: I was like, we were chatting about something and I just kept engaging him in conversation because I didn't want him to see my low-name come up on the screen.

[UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: I, it was like no notes perfection love. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Seeing him be there, having that guide post to shake her out of whatever this weird pit is that she's falling into. [SPEAKER_04]: And that's, you know, maybe his whole character arc is that is that it's just reminding Rory who she is.

[SPEAKER_01]: He's here for the lady. [SPEAKER_04]: Do you think he gets to tell Rory who she is? [SPEAKER_01]: Like, he hasn't seen her in so long, and he's like, I know you, I know you better than anyone. [SPEAKER_01]: And the last time that he saw her, he was yelling at her to leave you with him. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, that's that's hyperbolic.

[SPEAKER_04]: I think that there's truth to like, I know the core of you. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I know the core of you. [SPEAKER_02]: I know your hopes and dreams and this isn't you, which was true. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: I've been triggered by you. [SPEAKER_04]: It's like those moments.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's like, who don't need you? [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: It's like, if you could meet you as a teenager, would you like you? [SPEAKER_02]: And sometimes that's okay. [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, like, teenage me would be like, hey, you're not doing what I expected you to do. [SPEAKER_02]: And it's like, you got to shed that at some point.

[SPEAKER_04]: But at the same time, worry was you didn't think you'd end up engaged to a silly cartoon character. [SPEAKER_02]: No, she'd definitely do. [SPEAKER_02]: And you showed teenage Tara, a picture teenage red, and said, this is who you're going to marry. [SPEAKER_02]: Teenage Tara would have walked through life like you guys don't even know what's coming.

[SPEAKER_01]: I love that it's you're showing teenage Tara teenage Brett. [SPEAKER_02]: You're not even showing teenage Tara current bread Oh, I'm a teenage Tara current bread and she would be so excited But it's more over like career wise like if I showed my 16 year old self like you were talking this is what you're doing I mean you met on the internet Yeah [SPEAKER_02]: She'd be like, what?

[SPEAKER_02]: You know, like, like, I love the expectations that we are leaving the bound. [SPEAKER_02]: That's true. [SPEAKER_02]: That's why you guys are going to be wearing the same outfits of the wedding. [SPEAKER_02]: Yes, the law said so. [SPEAKER_02]: But I do think that the expectations we put on ourselves can sometimes be, like, so high stakes because you're such a dreamer when you're that age.

[SPEAKER_02]: You're like, oh, I'm for me. [SPEAKER_02]: It was I'm going to move to New York and I'm going to be on Broadway. [SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to be. [SPEAKER_02]: Like people are gonna love what I do and I'm gonna be the most talented person there ever was I would say that was true up until you added that last part [SPEAKER_02]: It's just one of those things though where like you you put a lot of high expectations on adult you when you're younger and so I understand the idea of like, you know, sometimes someone comes back, who knew you in high school and they were like, oh, but like, what about this and what about that?

[SPEAKER_02]: And it's like, well, my dreams have shifted. [SPEAKER_02]: That was not the case for where we go more right. [SPEAKER_02]: And was like, yeah, you know what? [SPEAKER_02]: I'm gonna go sit in my feelings about this and I'm gonna let my feelings dictate how my life plays out. [SPEAKER_02]: And not do what I really want to be doing.

[SPEAKER_02]: And we see that in the undergraduate. [SPEAKER_02]: She wants to be at school. [SPEAKER_02]: She loves school. [SPEAKER_02]: Logan says this is fun. [SPEAKER_02]: I'm gonna get back. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so I think that I do agree with you that like he knows the core of her and what she set up to do and he's looking at her like, what are you doing and I don't fight back.

[SPEAKER_04]: She's not like that's not me and the scene is great because she's like, yeah, I don't know. [SPEAKER_01]: I do not know. [SPEAKER_01]: I do not know where I'm doing. [SPEAKER_04]: I do not know where I drop out of your ear. [SPEAKER_01]: Thank you. [SPEAKER_01]: What a good question to pose.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Sure. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, go find out. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, exactly. [SPEAKER_02]: So I think there is some truth to like, I know you. [SPEAKER_02]: Maybe not. [SPEAKER_02]: I know you better than anyone. [SPEAKER_02]: I think that that's really for Laura like it more.

[SPEAKER_02]: But Jess was speaking, Laura lies mine in that moment. [SPEAKER_02]: He was kind of a vessel for what Laura like couldn't say to her daughter because they weren't on speaking terms. [SPEAKER_02]: But I think that it had that come out of her mouth. [SPEAKER_02]: I know you I know you better than anyone.

[SPEAKER_02]: This is in you. [SPEAKER_02]: That is exactly that would still the sentiment would still be true. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: It's like, I don't know, Jess is like her gym any cricket, like you just see. [SPEAKER_02]: Yes. [SPEAKER_02]: And we talk about that a lot in why they didn't end up together, like speaking to kind of the, oh, we're meant to be friends.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's different than friends. [SPEAKER_02]: It's different than friends. [SPEAKER_02]: It's different than friends. [SPEAKER_01]: It's not quite friends. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: It's a gym any Pinocchio they weren't friends. [SPEAKER_04]: Hmm, one was a bug, one was a boy who was made of wood and they kind of famously have the friends.

[SPEAKER_02]: They're rules. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Her rules. [SPEAKER_02]: Please. [SPEAKER_03]: This is how it goes. [SPEAKER_03]: This is how it goes. [SPEAKER_01]: I want you to save this metaphor and it's hold on to this for when we watch the revival. [SPEAKER_02]: I did tell him because, you know, of course we got to the end of the series and we were talking about the revival and he, of course, has seen Logan's appearance in the revival in the, yeah, he's there.

[SPEAKER_02]: He's there. [SPEAKER_02]: He's there. [SPEAKER_02]: He's on the cover. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: And he was like, so I know and I was like, well, all three boys make an appearance. [SPEAKER_02]: So [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, don't let them grab the cover. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: You know, Dick's team.

[SPEAKER_04]: I will say, yeah, I will say, soulmates aren't always lovers. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, we always talk about how Jess and Warrior more like twin flames. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, your soulmates don't necessarily the person that you fall in love with, I think, but there are people in your life that are just like, I will find you in every lifetime because I need you.

[SPEAKER_04]: I think that that's a perfect place for him to be. [SPEAKER_04]: And I think that that moment is such a powerful one, [SPEAKER_04]: no one else could have said it like he said it. [SPEAKER_04]: That would have been effective in that way. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, and speaking to the fact that like Laura like could have said those exact same words in the sentiment still be true, I do agree with you that like it hit harder that it was a person who really believed in her who knew her when her dreams and ambitions were arguably at some of their peak.

[SPEAKER_02]: and is coming back and basically saying, like, I'm disappointed in you, that's hard. [SPEAKER_02]: That hits. [SPEAKER_02]: Because she wasn't listening to anything her mom had to say. [SPEAKER_02]: She felt like she said I'm wanted. [SPEAKER_02]: It was just like, well, she's not going to be happy until I'm back in a classroom.

[SPEAKER_02]: And it's like, that's not your mom. [SPEAKER_02]: Like, what are you talking about? [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: So to see someone like Jess, who has always put her on a pedestal, and he's coming back and he's like, who is? [SPEAKER_02]: Who are you? [SPEAKER_02]: Is I think so much more impactful and that's why I think a lot of people say that he's one of the if if not the only person that could have had that impact not only on her But on the audience.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's what I say on the audience But to that effect of like where she's at living with your grandparents being in the D.A. [SPEAKER_01]: R. No Yale [SPEAKER_01]: going back to the very beginning. [SPEAKER_01]: I know that in the last episode, you talked about the Gilman's, the Elder Gilman's, you felt they were villainous.

[SPEAKER_01]: How did you feel when they took worry in and they kind of shifted to being a team-roy and really let Laura lie down? [SPEAKER_04]: I didn't like it. [SPEAKER_04]: I did appreciate it. [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh [SPEAKER_04]: Yes, it felt like they were choosing Rory over Lorelei.

[SPEAKER_04]: I feel like they were holding Rory over Lorelei. [SPEAKER_04]: It felt very much like a power, like a power play. [SPEAKER_02]: And you predicted that also. [SPEAKER_02]: You said that you predicted that Emily would just eat up the fact that Rory was living at home with her, but she did.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: And she lured it over Lorelei in a lot of ways. [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Now, by the end of the series, did you feel as like, [SPEAKER_02]: passionate about passionate. [SPEAKER_02]: Thank you. [SPEAKER_02]: Did you feel as passionate that they were the villains?

[SPEAKER_04]: No. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, they also become, I don't know, a lot less can I make. [SPEAKER_02]: After they have their explosions. [SPEAKER_02]: After friend and I started finding. [SPEAKER_02]: Yes. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Great episode. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: That was, that would, I don't want to speak for you, but I will say that your reaction to that episode.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: That was like one of your favorite episodes. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, because it's like a thing that we've been waiting for for so long, right? [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: these guys just need to fight like yeah he's guys just need like someone has to hit someone like we're all someone's gonna be like one of them's gonna die yes like someone's gonna punch her in the face like it's either they're gonna hash this out or they're gonna burn a house down like I have something [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe bow.

[SPEAKER_04]: Something's good. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: I think that passed that past that moment, their arc becomes a lot less conniving metal some. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: You know, Emily is still really complicated and her and lower lies relationship. [SPEAKER_04]: The whole time is is complicated.

[SPEAKER_04]: All to the very finish, but you I get to a pre- [SPEAKER_04]: I get to see where she's coming from. [SPEAKER_04]: I get to see where she's coming from a lot more in the back half of that season and into season seven, especially when they're all in the hospital. [SPEAKER_04]: Her finally having a moment in the hospital to be like, my whole life is taking care of Richard Gilmore.

[SPEAKER_04]: And without that, I don't know what I'm doing. [SPEAKER_02]: And I love the moment they have at the end of the series in Bond Boyage when Richard is like, it takes a really remarkable person to inspire all of this. [SPEAKER_02]: And he, I think that that is a beautiful book and considering in the first episode, you're kind of like, [SPEAKER_02]: made to really view Richard as the villain when he's like so.

[SPEAKER_02]: How's the motel? [SPEAKER_02]: The hotel. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: And like talking to Christopher. [SPEAKER_02]: Speaking of which, Christopher called and Christopher, you must get, you must take after him, Roy, and to see like where he lands by the end of the series. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_02]: It is very, very spectacular. [SPEAKER_04]: I like that they also have the in the Gilmore girls episode Gilmore girls only you get to see Emily hurt yeah on like I wasn't I didn't get to be there Yeah, and fake me I did yeah fake me I did Breath the whole episode was kind of like [SPEAKER_02]: And then by the end, I was like, so that wasn't the same actress.

[SPEAKER_02]: He was like, I didn't think so. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: We have a watch season too, of course. [SPEAKER_02]: And I'll, yes. [SPEAKER_02]: But we haven't watched season two, of course. [SPEAKER_02]: And like, was the OG of blonde woman? [SPEAKER_02]: She had like white hair. [SPEAKER_02]: Right hair.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Elizabeth Franz, she just passed recently. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, very recently. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Like last couple months, she was like very, very renowned theater actor, as well. [SPEAKER_02]: I said to Brad and I've said it on this podcast.

[SPEAKER_02]: I just don't love when they bring characters back that they can't bring the actor back. [SPEAKER_02]: And it was, I believe the only time, correct me from wrong, the only time on the film roles that they did it. [SPEAKER_02]: Like a major character that they brought back. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_02]: Someone who was as impactful. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes. [SPEAKER_01]: Like someone who had such a speaking role. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: But I really, really liked that scenario, that episode. [SPEAKER_02]: Caesar, they kind of did it with Caesar. [SPEAKER_04]: of them being able to be there and have Emily say thank you and also go through the emotion of like, I wish I could have had this.

[SPEAKER_01]: I wish I, yeah, I love when we can see like the emotional journey and like the vulnerability of a character because like we don't really ever see that with worry. [SPEAKER_01]: So like when we do get it with a character like Emily or Laura lie, I love it. [SPEAKER_02]: I want to circle back to the Bella Lake's conversation with Jess to kind of expand on that into Logan, because I remember us watching that episode in you being like, what is Logan doing?

[SPEAKER_02]: You felt like it was very out of character for Logan to yell at Roy the way the T did. [SPEAKER_02]: and then subsequently for them to go on the break that they did. [SPEAKER_02]: And we didn't get to watch the beginning of the episode after she finds out about the bridesmaids, but you also felt kind of questionable about his reasoning for sleeping with all of them.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, that we were on a break reasoning. [SPEAKER_02]: Yep, the Ross and Rachel, we were on a break. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, we can understand a rebound to a certain extent if you are actually broken up. [SPEAKER_02]: So you thought verdict, did you feel like they were broken up? [SPEAKER_04]: No, they never said we're broken up.

[SPEAKER_01]: No, they were broken up because Rory does say to them to Logan that they were broken up. [SPEAKER_04]: She does say that? [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, when, in just like when in Gavin, when they're standing outside of her door, she says if you can't handle a relationship, you shouldn't be on, which, by the way, you're not.

[SPEAKER_01]: Like, she acknowledges that they're not together. [SPEAKER_01]: And like, at the call, the honor, it's like, I heard that you guys broke up. [SPEAKER_01]: It's very odd, and it's always been odd to me, that it has gotten to Thanksgiving, and the conversation with Jess happened shortly after her birthday, which is at the beginning of October.

[SPEAKER_01]: So, like, a month has passed that she is not spoken to this man and she still thinks that's her boyfriend. [SPEAKER_02]: They did not say they were broken up and that is, you know, always kind of the back and forth within the fandom. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: When honor calls her on Thanksgiving and they have a conversation, that's how Rory finds out that they're broken up.

[SPEAKER_02]: Because honor's like, Logan told me that you guys broke up and she was like, [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, so by the time she finds out and by the time that Logan, you know, comes back into her life she acknowledges like we're broken up, which you kind of like did to me via your sister's sister. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but [SPEAKER_02]: You're right.

[SPEAKER_02]: They did not say we are broken up, but also they didn't say to each other. [SPEAKER_01]: They didn't say each other. [SPEAKER_01]: The circumstances of it were like it was communicated to both of them at some point. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we're not together. [SPEAKER_04]: They were not on the same page of like this.

[SPEAKER_01]: And neither of them, no, neither of them made the initiative to reach out to the other. [SPEAKER_03]: Right. [SPEAKER_01]: And there's no possessive way except in Roy Gilmour's mind that you can be like, okay, haven't spoken to this person in four to six weeks. [SPEAKER_01]: We're just chilling.

[SPEAKER_01]: We're fine. [SPEAKER_04]: Like, if it was like, hey, I had sex with somebody while we were gone, well, well, like, you know, because we were broken up and I had rebound with the fact that it's like, I had sex with seven people and you know all of them and I just you're literally letting you walk into a wedding with all of them.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's the thing we don't like, it's like heat. [SPEAKER_01]: Like, even if he didn't know she was going to be in that room with all of them, all the girl at least that except for his sister, obviously, everyone in that room, except for that one girl who was on vacation, probably would have still made the line up, but like, at some point she was going to be with all of them, and he knows that they're horrible, like horrible, maybe not, maybe Logan painted them out to be worse than they are, maybe they did her a favor.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: That was really really the way they went about that. [SPEAKER_01]: But he knew that she was going to be with them. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, and you know, and no one wants to find like, you know, no one wants to be like, hey, girl, so no one wants to find out like that. [SPEAKER_02]: No, no one wants to.

[SPEAKER_02]: He let her kind of walk into the lion's den. [SPEAKER_02]: Maybe he didn't know she was going to be in a room with all of them because he does leave with the groom's men and she's about to go somewhere else and then honor finds her. [SPEAKER_04]: But this is guard, but you don't think that you know that she's going to be in the [SPEAKER_01]: the wedding, and you're going to be next to her all night making sure she doesn't talk to a single one of those girls.

[SPEAKER_01]: And then none of them bring it up to her because they all find women very respectful. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: None of whom are wasted. [SPEAKER_01]: Totally. [SPEAKER_01]: Totally agree. [SPEAKER_01]: Come on, Logan. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I'm with you. [SPEAKER_04]: No, I'm with you.

[SPEAKER_02]: But you felt like his excuse was really lame. [SPEAKER_04]: I do. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: I do. [SPEAKER_04]: He's also like, do you guys ever talk about the alcohol thing with him? [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, brats like, he's so low-key alcoholic. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh yeah, I mean, we've never talked about it, but there's definitely something going on, some to foot.

[SPEAKER_04]: Like, there's something with him that goes for me personally, like a step further than like, I'm a college aged kid and a rich kid and like, you know, I party. [SPEAKER_01]: It's like he's dealing with his life in hard ways. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, there's like, oh, whenever he has a big thing happened to him, the next scene, almost always is like, I'm wasted.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, like it's not like I had a drink. [SPEAKER_04]: It's like, I'm wasted. [SPEAKER_04]: That is troubling to me. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, as it would be for anyone. [SPEAKER_04]: And it doesn't excuse any of his actions. [SPEAKER_04]: Like it. [SPEAKER_04]: I won't. [SPEAKER_04]: Not that, yeah, it's, it makes it worse almost that I'm just like, you don't know how to cope with things.

[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's kind of the tragedy of Logan is that his whole iconic line is like it's your choice A's and then like he doesn't have enough of a back point backbone to ever actually make a choice in his life except for bad coping mechanisms that he like learned from his toxic family and so that's kind of a sad it's but it sits one of those like okay cool Logan [SPEAKER_04]: ends up being a good partner in in season seven.

[SPEAKER_04]: So I had his moments, but you know, like, does a lot of things right, and then falls back into a ton of, yeah, I mean, that's relationships. [SPEAKER_02]: My gosh, the shoes on the bed, the stumbling in at home. [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, make me a sandwich. [SPEAKER_04]: The bed. [SPEAKER_04]: I told Tara, I was watching that episode of my own, and I said, if I came home at three in the morning, wasted.

[SPEAKER_04]: Made you make me half a sandwich, decided to eat. [SPEAKER_04]: Don't want it, and then gotten to bed with my shoes on. [SPEAKER_01]: I would make your outside clothes. [SPEAKER_04]: I would wake up on fire. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: I would wake up a flame. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yes.

[SPEAKER_01]: That is what Tara did set the fire. [SPEAKER_01]: It just was spontaneous. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, God set it on fire. [SPEAKER_01]: She is innocent. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I'm innocent. [SPEAKER_02]: He would wake up on fire and all of our stuff would already be in a moving truck. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, he's alone in the apartment on fire.

[SPEAKER_04]: No, she's powerful imagery. [SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, no, it's crazy. [SPEAKER_02]: It's truly crazy the way he behaves for a second and then he kind of redeem himself. [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, look, you know, sort of to the extent where we were none of us are single parents. [SPEAKER_04]: None of us all so have ever lost three million dollars.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's fair. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, you don't actually know anything about my life. [SPEAKER_04]: That's actually really good. [SPEAKER_01]: You know what? [SPEAKER_01]: You don't know what? [SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to speak for me. [SPEAKER_01]: You speak hurt yourself. [SPEAKER_01]: I have it, I just misplaced it.

[SPEAKER_01]: But that's better, it's just lost. [SPEAKER_01]: No, so something that we talked about a lot in season seven is we made our way through is like as you know, as you've heard, brighter dialogue and like 15 year old me cannot hear a thing against him. [SPEAKER_01]: But as season seven progressed, which, like, notably for me, was like when things got better in my mind.

[SPEAKER_01]: But like, I think it's one of Logan's worst seasons. [SPEAKER_01]: Like, as the coin, we coin the phrase, he's a Yucco loser. [SPEAKER_01]: He's a Yucco loser throughout most of it. [SPEAKER_01]: Because he just, like, the whole idea is that he redeems himself by leaving his father's company.

[SPEAKER_01]: And she's like, wow, I'm so proud of you. [SPEAKER_01]: and then walked out on it and said, bye, claim what you're supposed to be proud of you for having done that. [SPEAKER_04]: Right. [SPEAKER_04]: Right. [SPEAKER_04]: Right. [SPEAKER_02]: Right. [SPEAKER_02]: Right. [SPEAKER_02]: Right.

[SPEAKER_02]: Right. [SPEAKER_02]: Well, but it's all right. [SPEAKER_02]: Using because he says it's not his father's money. [SPEAKER_02]: He says it's his own money. [SPEAKER_02]: He puts his own money in there. [SPEAKER_04]: So he's like also kind of a million of his own money, but then I guess afterwards it's also some of the companies like that.

[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, maybe. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: There's there's this is a large investment. [SPEAKER_01]: There's investors because he lost the hot dog cart guys money. [SPEAKER_01]: But like it's it's not who doesn't love a hot dog a lot of people actually But anyway, we're not here to talk about hot dog.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah This far into the episode. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, that's gonna be the drink down. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, yeah [SPEAKER_04]: Next time, it's all done. [SPEAKER_01]: Next time here on Gilmour to say, Gilmour to Hathak, Gilmour to Hathak. [SPEAKER_01]: Hathak to say, anyway, we're like, Logan.

[SPEAKER_01]: Was that talking about? [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, you were talking about that. [SPEAKER_01]: It just there's no consistency and how the steel is made. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes. [SPEAKER_01]: Terrace for it. [SPEAKER_01]: Those we've walked through this before. [SPEAKER_01]: Of like, we don't really understand what the deal wise other than his friend, his business partner, friend calls and makes his ominous call and his birthday like it's gone.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we're done. [SPEAKER_04]: It's gone. [SPEAKER_01]: It's happened. [SPEAKER_01]: It's gone. [SPEAKER_04]: It's gone. [SPEAKER_02]: It's gone. [SPEAKER_02]: It's gone. [SPEAKER_02]: It's gone. [SPEAKER_02]: It's gone. [SPEAKER_01]: It's gone. [SPEAKER_02]: It's gone. [SPEAKER_02]: It's gone.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's gone. [SPEAKER_01]: It's gone. [SPEAKER_01]: It's gone. [SPEAKER_01]: It's gone. [SPEAKER_01]: It's gone. [SPEAKER_01]: It's gone. [SPEAKER_01]: It's gone. [SPEAKER_01]: It's gone. [SPEAKER_01]: It's gone. [SPEAKER_01]: It's gone. [SPEAKER_01]: It's gone. [SPEAKER_01]: It's gone. [SPEAKER_01]: It's gone.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's gone. [SPEAKER_01]: It's gone. [SPEAKER_01]: It's gone. [SPEAKER_01]: It's gone. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Like we saw it. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Go lose her. [SPEAKER_01]: We saw it when we launched partings. [SPEAKER_01]: It's like he can't be like, yeah, I'm just, I'm not going to go.

[SPEAKER_01]: He has to ask her to tell him not to go and she says she can't do it, so he says, okay, I guess I'll go. [SPEAKER_02]: I guess I'll go. [SPEAKER_02]: Since you're not going to tell me not to go. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Go lose her. [SPEAKER_02]: Now that we've been our way into season seven, I want to talk a little bit about Chris and Lorelie.

[SPEAKER_02]: How did you feel about them exploring their relationship? [SPEAKER_04]: famously bad. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but also there were moments where we were like, all right, it makes sense. [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, once we're past the how it started. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, how it started was pretty bleak.

[SPEAKER_04]: Like once we're past that, then it's like, yeah, sure. [SPEAKER_01]: There was one episode where I liked it when they write Yale, parents we can. [SPEAKER_02]: The Go Bulldogs episode. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Like, they're kindred spirits. [SPEAKER_02]: They've known each other a really long time.

[SPEAKER_04]: They've known each other a really long time. [SPEAKER_04]: Things that are good are not always right. [SPEAKER_01]: Do you think it was good? [SPEAKER_04]: I think there was good. [SPEAKER_04]: I think that it's good that they explored it. [SPEAKER_01]: Good they explored it because it was bad.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, because it wasn't right because it would have always been there no matter who she ended up with forever like as long as you have a daughter and you're both alive, there's always going to be that. [SPEAKER_02]: The Christopher's always lingering in the background, they put that to rest.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: So I hate how it started. [SPEAKER_04]: So much. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm had you feel when Luke drove his car and did a salt it a well-being. [SPEAKER_01]: He sees in the wealthy man. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah That was great Well, well earned let's talk about very fisty cups. [SPEAKER_01]: Well before how'd you feel about Paris?

[SPEAKER_01]: Well always have Paris unfortunately [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, when they get married, we, so they go to Paris and Brett kind of called like, I want to marry you, like he's going to propose to her kind of a thing. [SPEAKER_02]: They get home and Christopher's like, welcome home Mrs. Hayden. [SPEAKER_02]: He's like, oh, she caged, she caved.

[SPEAKER_02]: and like we're about to press play on the next episode and I was like yeah I mean like I can't like can you believe that they got married without worry he was like wait they got married they got married it was like yes they got married married not engaged they got married and it took [SPEAKER_02]: talk about something you weren't expecting.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I was not expecting that. [SPEAKER_04]: It was so it was cute up until that point. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, I like, like their relationship was kind of like in a place where I was like, okay, it's kind of cute, like the wonderful marvellous day with the car. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, yeah, like you get to see, you know, they're in Paris and it's like, just what she's burned.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: and then the the table sort of turn of like let's do let's get married right now and lower-rise the one that has to kind of pump the brakes and then caves and does it and Rory's not there and it's just insane.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, that was back. [SPEAKER_04]: Like immediately right back to like, oh, this is bad. [SPEAKER_04]: This is not good. [SPEAKER_04]: I don't this is a not a good thing. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: And then they both see each other across the town in the town square of Star's Hollow Connecticut.

[SPEAKER_04]: The [SPEAKER_01]: But I think we're going on in the mind of the writers. [SPEAKER_01]: When they said, you know what? [SPEAKER_01]: Let's just have them whale on each other. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I just wanted to be like, all right. [SPEAKER_04]: So what is the, what do we think the dialogue?

[SPEAKER_04]: What are they going to say? [SPEAKER_04]: And it's just like, you know, they'll say anything. [SPEAKER_01]: This is great. [SPEAKER_04]: It's all, it's all italicized. [SPEAKER_04]: Like it's not like a, it's just action. [SPEAKER_04]: It's just exterior night. [SPEAKER_04]: Night. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: A fatter through. [SPEAKER_05]: How? [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: the choreography, it's like, it's the way it's like, it's the way it's like, it's the way it's like, it's the way it's like, it's the way it's like, it's the way it's like, it's the way it's like, it's the way it's like, it's the way it's like, it's the way it's like, it's the way it's like, it's the way it's like, it's the way it's like, it's the way it's like, it's the way it's like, it's the way it's the way it's like, it's the way it's the way it's the way it's the way it's the way it's the way it's the way it's the way it's the way it's the way it's the way it's the way it's the way it's the way it's the way it's the way it's the way it's the way it's the way it's the way it's the way

[SPEAKER_04]: and like when he like dodges it he like ducks yeah like so we we have that said make eye contact before you swing yeah you can just see them working with the fight choreography there well they spent too much money on the day and found first and brought raptors yeah yeah fight choreography yeah that whole scene where no one says anything and it's just fisty and it goes on for a [SPEAKER_04]: It goes on for like several moments of like, and now we're circling each other again, and then all right.

[SPEAKER_01]: There's so many opportunities to end it. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, and they just wouldn't. [SPEAKER_04]: And I am so grateful that they did it. [SPEAKER_04]: It was. [SPEAKER_02]: I have to tell you, I filmed the screen while it was going on with just a reaction in the background to send to Haley, so she was like, wow.

[SPEAKER_02]: Any line at Disney land? [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Full volume. [SPEAKER_04]: I was cackling. [SPEAKER_01]: I was kind of like, he was like, what have we just lost? [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it was. [SPEAKER_01]: I love when you said, and now kiss, and I was like, that's like, I'm, are you going to punch him or are you going to get it?

[SPEAKER_04]: It is really romantic, it away. [SPEAKER_02]: It is. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: And then I told you I showed him the edit that you made of Rachel McOut of his and Ryan Gosle. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, it's so beautiful. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I can't actually like remember what that scene sounds like because it ruined five plays over it in my mind And then when I go back I'm like, oh nothing.

[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, it's just no silence And I was a little bit of dreaded because there's no there's no sound and also like Chris has never fought anybody A day in his life not no part of me thinks that that fight would last that long at all. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, especially like a twig [SPEAKER_01]: Oh yeah.

[SPEAKER_04]: You've already been hit in the face by this man. [SPEAKER_01]: Yep. [SPEAKER_01]: I feel like there's like a very in-character pride thing of Chris to be like he did punch me, but I wasn't ready. [SPEAKER_01]: I can take him. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: I got this.

[SPEAKER_01]: And then he can't take him. [SPEAKER_01]: And it could have been an awesome scene. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't think there was a world in which it could have been an alien. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't think so like what I mean, I mean, I don't know what they would have said. [SPEAKER_04]: Maybe you're right I just but like I would have like set up the scene.

[SPEAKER_01]: We'll the same scene. [SPEAKER_01]: The same set. [SPEAKER_01]: The same set. [SPEAKER_04]: Just better just like but they say words at each other. [SPEAKER_01]: They say words. [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe they different actors to do it. [SPEAKER_04]: Maybe [SPEAKER_01]: They was not good with the actors, they had.

[SPEAKER_01]: Just bring in like Brad Pitt, you know, that's an actor. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, that is an actor. [SPEAKER_01]: I just wanted that one. [SPEAKER_01]: Give another one on the mind. [SPEAKER_01]: And Harrison Ford. [SPEAKER_04]: What a scene. [SPEAKER_01]: on the plane back from California. [SPEAKER_01]: I watched F1 and then I watched Indiana Jones.

[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, sure. [SPEAKER_01]: We had a win. [SPEAKER_01]: So it was like no. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I was right. [SPEAKER_01]: I would I want the character from F1 that Brad Pitt plays two fight Indiana Jones. [SPEAKER_02]: He is the giant boulder. [SPEAKER_02]: That's that's just mmm. [SPEAKER_01]: Taylor sets it off.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: It's just barreling towards Harrison board. [SPEAKER_02]: I love it. [SPEAKER_02]: That would have made up to it. [SPEAKER_02]: This was a fun question that one of our best few minutes. [SPEAKER_02]: Savannah wants to know what would you want in your welcome wagon from your Fave Miss Patty.

[SPEAKER_05]: Oh. [SPEAKER_02]: I thought the welcome wagon was a really cute idea. [SPEAKER_02]: Like, I thought so. [SPEAKER_01]: You're new. [SPEAKER_01]: You're new. [SPEAKER_01]: You're new. [SPEAKER_02]: You're new. [SPEAKER_02]: Here's your welcome wagon. [SPEAKER_02]: And you get salted by it.

[SPEAKER_04]: Like if it's not very good, that's so stars hollow. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay. [SPEAKER_01]: Love. [SPEAKER_01]: Fultures. [SPEAKER_01]: Great. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Give me spoilers. [SPEAKER_04]: Famously. [SPEAKER_04]: Are these like, or think, yeah, we're, I'm picking things that are like, they would be in the town.

[SPEAKER_01]: I think so. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Town things. [SPEAKER_01]: Or just like anything. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, like, if it's just like a personal welcome wagon, then it's just, like, fill up a wagon with some burger, and then let me go home. [SPEAKER_02]: But I think it gives certificates to Patty in the wagons or Patty in the wagons.

[SPEAKER_04]: Patty wagons. [SPEAKER_02]: Patty wagons. [SPEAKER_04]: It's like grab a bottle, lady. [SPEAKER_01]: Why didn't they call it a Patty wagons? [SPEAKER_02]: Miss opportunity. [SPEAKER_02]: There's such a missed opportunity. [SPEAKER_04]: Um, yeah, tickets to to, um, the next showing of a film by Kirk.

[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, I would be in a film, but that is all. [SPEAKER_01]: Film by Kirk. [SPEAKER_04]: That is probably my number one favorite. [SPEAKER_04]: It's a hard record. [SPEAKER_04]: It's the hardest that I laughed at the show when it wanted me to. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, yeah, I think like that is like the funniest thing that I think happened on the whole show The funniest the hardest you laughed at the show when it didn't want you to is when Lane had that suitcase So the beginning of season two that was bizarre and perfect and And nothing else like it happened ever again ever again [SPEAKER_02]: Maybe the world's largest pizza, but that was intentional.

[SPEAKER_02]: No, yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: It was because like that, that was an agag. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, that's fair. [SPEAKER_04]: It's like a thing that they meant to do, the like. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god. [SPEAKER_01]: This is Kim went out and bought that. [SPEAKER_01]: He's unwell. [SPEAKER_01]: He's overcombed.

[SPEAKER_01]: I want to know who made that suitcase because props did a fantastic job. [SPEAKER_01]: I want to know who made that suitcase because props did a fantastic job. [SPEAKER_01]: I want to know who made that suitcase because props did a fantastic job. [SPEAKER_02]: I want to know who made that suitcase because props did a fantastic job.

[SPEAKER_02]: I want to know who made that suitcase because props did a fantastic job. [SPEAKER_02]: I want to know who made that suitcase because props did a fantastic job. [SPEAKER_02]: I want to know who made that suitcase because props did a fantastic job. [SPEAKER_02]: I want to know who made that suitcase because props did a fantastic job.

[SPEAKER_04]: um i want that suitcase yeah if i could buy if i could buy one uh you're welcome wagon is the suitcase this is a patty inside japan outside period yeah yeah pulled by a yummy bartender i was just about to break up the ocean bartenders yeah we all have the bartenders at your wedding right [SPEAKER_02]: But I really loved them, so we're going to consider it.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, we're going to, we're going to, we're going to, we're not too young. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, not too young. [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, you can't be too young. [SPEAKER_02]: You know what happens for that? [SPEAKER_02]: Like it's not a fan. [SPEAKER_02]: What happens? [SPEAKER_02]: Um, people get really insecure, they fire all the yummy bartenders.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: We send them all home, because they were too young. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Okay. [SPEAKER_02]: Kind of a more general question. [SPEAKER_02]: Julia asked, who do you think had the best character growth? [SPEAKER_02]: Now that you've watched the entire series, who had the best character growth on the show?

[SPEAKER_04]: It's between Luke and Rory. [SPEAKER_02]: Ooh, I think. [SPEAKER_02]: Interesting. [SPEAKER_02]: Growing up or down. [SPEAKER_04]: I think that by the end of the series, in like literally the last two episodes. [SPEAKER_01]: Fresh in your mind. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, that like, you finally like, Rory really does the thing that I wanted her to do the whole time, right?

[SPEAKER_04]: Like is like, okay, that's a human. [SPEAKER_01]: Check the man. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, make your life about you, and there's like this moment where she gets a job at the project, at the projo, and Laura lies like, yeah, because you're interesting, like you've got the interview went well because you are smart, and you were just yourself, and all of that snowballs into her finally like walking away as like, and [SPEAKER_04]: What I feel like is, okay, you're not, you're not done, but like an actual human being, like a completed human being.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: She has actually sort of finished the tutorial stage, and I believe what people say about her now. [SPEAKER_04]: I believe that she is a realized version of what the town always built her up to kind of be. [SPEAKER_04]: I don't think that she, in her actions in the series, does the thing, like, lives up to that sort of hype.

[SPEAKER_04]: Um, and then I believe that as she goes out past, you know, season seven episode 22 that she, like, is that person now? [SPEAKER_01]: Like in the revival, she's that person now. [SPEAKER_04]: Sure, yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: So like a prediction, you might think, for the revival. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, and then the way that Luke evolves from the very beginning of that guy that is stuck, that is, like, a stuck person inside of that town, [SPEAKER_01]: the woman who comes into work.

[SPEAKER_04]: The woman who comes into work and then the way that he is sort of his mind is sort of expanded to like life is bigger than this and I have I want period like I am selling that boat and I'm getting my own boat and I'm making my own life and I am I don't know I don't have a prediction for him beyond but like [SPEAKER_04]: I still kind of hope he gets out like I still, there was a moment where I thought that when April couldn't go on the trip that I thought that maybe the series, the end of the series was going to be that he and Laura like get on the boat and they go and they go because like Rory gets the job and she leaves I thought that it was going to be like okay you know what you and I we're going to get out of here.

[SPEAKER_01]: Let's go do we haven't talked for like a whole season but let's go get on a boat [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, that's like, you know, maybe maybe a couple months like post find finale episode. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, they make, they're making plans. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, yeah, and the purpose of trip is also trying to like, like, time out where we, time is really weird and [SPEAKER_01]: doesn't really exist in the same way that it was in our world.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, because like Lane gets pregnant and then like three months later is like in her third trimester and so I was trying to time out like, oh, is are we in June? [SPEAKER_04]: Like, is there going to be a thing where it's like, hey, the date that we were supposed to get married is actually like, it's here now a surprise and like, we're going to do it.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, um, there was, I thought that it would be there was going to, is it June 3rd? [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I thought that maybe that was going to be a thing. [SPEAKER_04]: But I think that, to circle back to what the question was, is that I really think that Luke is now, like they're now actually ready for each other and more importantly for me, like Luke is actually like, like Rory, like has wants and is going to do bigger things for himself.

[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe maybe he's like like unstuck in the same spot. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, everything's different nothing's changed Sort of situation. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, I could not well on that topic of predictions for the revival for the revival You know we're gonna take some time We're that's gonna come back and and watch the revival you will take time, but yeah nine years past and I think I was trying to [SPEAKER_01]: Nine years.

[SPEAKER_01]: I think that that's really good for you to not have just like jumped from season 7 episode 22 to nine years in the future. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like immediately because some of us had to wait nine years and I think you should have to at least wait nine days. [SPEAKER_01]: Like I think I think that but I think that there's an enjoyment factor yeah, you kind of have to do your time, you know.

[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's good to take some space because I think if you jump straight from like the end of season seven into this just time warp of like, oh fuck it's 2016 and like 2007 Yeah, I mean my seventh soul like Barack Obama literally has an entire presidential to to run two terms two as president and then the refival of our mortals happens [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I mean does do we do we you guys know?

[SPEAKER_04]: I guess I assume just historically like she Rory mentions before she leaves like if he does well then you know whatever he famously does well Well, you also have to remember who wrote season 7 who didn't and who wrote right to the mindful who doesn't because I think I mentioned you that Amy didn't watch season 7 [SPEAKER_02]: She did have, like, writers on set Superfans on set who, like, kind of updated her on where everybody landed a lot of forgotten plot lines.

[SPEAKER_01]: Like, Lauren Graham didn't even remember that she had married Christopher. [SPEAKER_01]: Don't lower land married Chris. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, like there were things that they were like, oh, that happened. [SPEAKER_01]: All right. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Because I'm sure for a lot of them, season 7 felt like a fever dream in the same way that the audience felt that way too.

[SPEAKER_02]: Because it was like, Amy's out here. [SPEAKER_02]: It's kind of weird. [SPEAKER_02]: Like, we're trying to figure this out and trying to make a work. [SPEAKER_04]: It's hard to predict. [SPEAKER_04]: It's hard to predict at this point, right? [SPEAKER_04]: Because of everything that you just mentioned, and the time, the time lapse.

[SPEAKER_04]: So Rory does the first part of her career. [SPEAKER_04]: Nine years is a pretty significant. [SPEAKER_04]: So now she's 30, yeah, 31 going on 32. [SPEAKER_01]: which is like unintentionally full circle because Laura likes her to the series at 32, but they never thought that they would have that moment.

[SPEAKER_02]: But it is very poetic that like we return to Star's Hollow when worry is the audience meant Laura liat. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, we know that Logan is there. [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know if it's that. [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know if it's well, he's on the, he's on the cover.

[SPEAKER_02]: So he's there in her life. [SPEAKER_02]: And he's in the shop. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: So you're trying to figure out what he's going on. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Are they? [SPEAKER_04]: Is it a, hey, look, we've gone, and you've done the thing, and you've been a journalist, and you met Barack Obama, and you didn't.

[SPEAKER_01]: You think Barack Obama is in the revival? [SPEAKER_04]: I am holding judgment. [SPEAKER_04]: I think that they're going to change the history. [SPEAKER_04]: I think Barack Obama loses the second term. [SPEAKER_04]: Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

[SPEAKER_02]: All three boys are in the revival. [SPEAKER_02]: So don't like making assumptions. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you kind of have to recognize a lot of his fan service Like sure. [SPEAKER_01]: I told him that. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, if Jared Paddlek, he didn't come back. [SPEAKER_04]: Like I Something for all back as many people as they could middle town wrestling match Rematch, but it's the three boys [SPEAKER_04]: No lines, just grunting.

[SPEAKER_04]: Just a steel cage. [SPEAKER_01]: It's not Brad Pitt. [SPEAKER_01]: There's layers. [SPEAKER_01]: It's like another version. [SPEAKER_01]: Did you say no shirts? [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no shirts. [SPEAKER_01]: And they're all, like, it should be the mud wrestling from season four. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, exactly.

[SPEAKER_04]: Um, they're, they're vying for Roy's, I don't know, ever loving affection. [SPEAKER_02]: Um, Did you definitely have to? [SPEAKER_02]: You boy introduced for Roy. [SPEAKER_04]: I don't think there's time for that. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay. [SPEAKER_01]: There's four of them. [SPEAKER_02]: And they're an hour and 20 minutes, hour and a half.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's four and 90 minute mini movies, yeah, each of them takes much of them in a season, winter spring, summer ball. [SPEAKER_01]: It's a year in my life. [SPEAKER_04]: I got to do is calm. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's what it's based off of, yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: It's so hard to say, I think that Luke and Laura Liars dealt together.

[SPEAKER_04]: I think there will be trouble, maybe. [SPEAKER_04]: Maybe there's trouble in paradise. [SPEAKER_04]: Maybe they have a baby. [SPEAKER_04]: April, I guess, April would make an appearance at some point. [SPEAKER_04]: She is in college? [SPEAKER_04]: No. [SPEAKER_04]: Nine years? [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, she'd be college.

[SPEAKER_04]: She'd be in college. [SPEAKER_01]: You think she went to college? [SPEAKER_01]: I think she dropped out of college. [SPEAKER_04]: She went to college. [SPEAKER_04]: She's an nerd. [SPEAKER_01]: Sorry. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, science. [SPEAKER_04]: Science Rory goes to college for sure. [SPEAKER_01]: That's a children.

[SPEAKER_04]: We haven't talked about Paris Geller at all. [SPEAKER_02]: Oh my god. [SPEAKER_02]: We haven't talked about Paris Geller at all. [SPEAKER_02]: And her Heidi Hole from season 2 for Heidi Hole. [SPEAKER_02]: She has quite a journey. [SPEAKER_02]: Talk about character growth. [SPEAKER_04]: I, yeah.

[SPEAKER_04]: I'm so I just want to say I love. [SPEAKER_04]: And this one, I mean, I fucking appreciate that they gave her the [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I was the most involved. [SPEAKER_02]: We watched that last time. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, her getting the acceptance letters and like the like that arc is so excellent.

[SPEAKER_04]: Excellent. [SPEAKER_01]: Her and Doyle. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, the her and Doyle, the like the excitement dwindling. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, God, it's so great. [SPEAKER_04]: And she is so great. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think it's an actress's name lies a while lies a while. [SPEAKER_04]: If you're out there if you're listening to this.

[SPEAKER_01]: She'd love you. [SPEAKER_01]: God, you really did it. [SPEAKER_04]: If you did, come on down. [SPEAKER_04]: The excitement of getting into all the schools, and then her going to the couch, it's just putting her face in the middle of whatever was dying. [SPEAKER_02]: It was like, of course, this is her.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: So great, the way that they tie up her storyline is so perfect. [SPEAKER_02]: Lovely. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: I really, really, really liked that. [SPEAKER_04]: So I don't know if she has to show up. [SPEAKER_04]: She's got to be around somewhere. [SPEAKER_02]: What do you think she's doing?

[SPEAKER_04]: She wants you into medical school. [SPEAKER_04]: Okay, here's a big swing. [SPEAKER_02]: Oh. [SPEAKER_04]: All right. [SPEAKER_01]: Do you just want me to go? [SPEAKER_01]: If you're not on YouTube. [SPEAKER_04]: Um, Paris delivers Roi's baby. [SPEAKER_02]: Whoa. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh. [SPEAKER_01]: Wait, where's Mary's baby come from?

[SPEAKER_04]: Someone. [SPEAKER_01]: Is this a Jesus thing? [SPEAKER_01]: Is this a Jesus thing? [SPEAKER_04]: What are we at a second? [SPEAKER_01]: Is this a Jesus thing? [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_01]: Why did my southern grandma me? [SPEAKER_04]: I like it. [SPEAKER_01]: I like it. [SPEAKER_04]: What's the Jesus thing?

[SPEAKER_01]: What's the Jesus thing? [SPEAKER_01]: Thank you. [SPEAKER_04]: That would be interesting. [SPEAKER_04]: That'd be an interesting route for that to take, uh, Rory, pickable. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, really just commentary. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: It's a cheat. [SPEAKER_04]: It's a cheeses.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's, it's all, yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: It's all the metaphor for, um, the immaculate conception. [SPEAKER_02]: They were calling her married at the beginning of this series. [SPEAKER_04]: So we really, we've really, we've really come full circle. [SPEAKER_02]: Mary? [SPEAKER_04]: Um, [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, Rory's got, I mean, I guess Rory's gonna get married.

[SPEAKER_04]: I could totally see it be like it would be a very full circle of flight by the end Rory is pregnant. [SPEAKER_04]: She has her own baby and wait, wait, wait, back up. [SPEAKER_01]: So in the year Rory gets married and she gets pregnant and she could get pregnant and not be married. [SPEAKER_01]: okay no pregnancy a new baby makes sense okay new baby makes sense she's maybe married maybe not married yeah pregnant at some point during the year enough that by the end of the revival she yes gives birth at the pair of scalar yeah medical center yeah medical center and medical and medical way okay that would be fun the pair of women's that's something yeah that's something that I could see happening

[SPEAKER_02]: I like that swing, that was a good swing. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's a good thing. [SPEAKER_04]: Nine years. [SPEAKER_02]: Is it a miss? [SPEAKER_02]: We'll have to find out. [SPEAKER_04]: Find out. [SPEAKER_04]: Nine years later, the elder Gilmins are old. [SPEAKER_04]: That's old, that's a lot there in there's, well, I don't know, they're in there 70s.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, they were in like 30, late 50s or early 60s in the, yeah, they're definitely in their 70s and stuff. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, okay, so they're old. [SPEAKER_04]: Emily's famously got to be there. [SPEAKER_04]: Does she have to be no I guess not but oh come on you can't have you can't do it if you're telling me that this is a fan service thing like we're not going to have Emily quips We got to have Emily quips.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's true. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not saying yes, and I'm not saying no. [SPEAKER_04]: I need to tea. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, no I need to sell my teacher with an Emily quip and I got it on the mug, and yeah, no, there's there's Emily quips. [SPEAKER_04]: I'm saying it Emily's Don't take out me from me [SPEAKER_04]: I didn't Don't take us to me.

[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't do anything. [SPEAKER_04]: This was almost coming from coming from they both die in a car wreck One of those dead bones. [SPEAKER_01]: I thought it was just one. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: I guess yeah, one of them. [SPEAKER_04]: So no car X no car X No car X. I don't even know what it could be about like I don't it's just you know we're going back there What what is the show about nothing just about them?

[SPEAKER_04]: Sure, famously. [SPEAKER_04]: This show inside. [SPEAKER_01]: No. [SPEAKER_04]: Who else do? [SPEAKER_04]: Who else? [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, Suki. [SPEAKER_04]: Suki and Jackson. [SPEAKER_04]: Does he get the vasectomy? [SPEAKER_04]: Do they have five kids? [SPEAKER_04]: Do they have like six kids?

[SPEAKER_04]: And we're just like 12. [SPEAKER_04]: That makes sense. [SPEAKER_04]: They've got like teenagers. [SPEAKER_04]: Almost. [SPEAKER_04]: No, they've got like. [SPEAKER_02]: Yes, no, they do pre-teens like pre-teens. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, and then lay it your own lane and Zahn has twins because they have to cast twins Are there any famous twins that I don't know, but they're probably yeah like nine nine or ten years old, so it's and there's three of them right there's a well It's a girl.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's a girl [SPEAKER_02]: What? [SPEAKER_02]: Who's a girl? [SPEAKER_02]: Suki's third kid? [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, you're trying to Suki. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: I was like, hey, yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Laying, no, they're twins or two. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, sorry. [SPEAKER_02]: And you said, there's three of them.

[SPEAKER_02]: And she's a girl? [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: I was like, which one? [SPEAKER_02]: Um, yeah, Suki now has three kids. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: I think. [SPEAKER_02]: But again, season seven. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: I think nine years later, maybe they had two more.

[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe some of these things that feel like they should be softball predictions are just absolute curveballs that you never expect because season seven may or may not exist sometimes. [SPEAKER_01]: Right. [SPEAKER_01]: Depending on the storyline, because I will say that that's the one thing that I found to be very, [SPEAKER_01]: Compusing about the revival?

[SPEAKER_01]: Is it sometimes season 7 picks up and sometimes it doesn't copy? [SPEAKER_04]: Dependent on the storyline. [SPEAKER_04]: So so I guess yeah, I'm like, am I so am I taking my life to like season 6 and where we ended? [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_02]: Sometimes yeah, yeah, sometimes I run sometimes I was just saying that the other day [SPEAKER_04]: Um, that's the first song we ever slow danced with who it was at gymnastics camp.

[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, [SPEAKER_04]: Probably, yeah, probably, maybe even younger than that, nine, ten.

[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, it was with a girl named Olivia. [SPEAKER_04]: The next day, she got a concussion on the uneven bars and had to leave the camp, and that's the last time I ever saw her. [SPEAKER_02]: And then I knew it was my chance. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: I can't. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: So Olivia, if you're out there, I hope you'll always have woodward.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: And I hope you're okay. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I hope you're all good. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: It's like a traumatizing time for Olivia. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: She had a tough time. [SPEAKER_01]: She had a tough time.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Which also is looking back like it's not slow enough. [SPEAKER_04]: It's kind of like it's kind of a more of an uptempo ballad it is so it was kind of like a penguin a penguin walk. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, you. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, it was very fun. [SPEAKER_04]: Shout out to Olivia.

[SPEAKER_04]: I will. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Camper Pennsylvania. [SPEAKER_04]: Hope you're doing well. [SPEAKER_04]: Hope you're doing well. [SPEAKER_04]: Hope you're doing well. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Hope your head's good. [SPEAKER_02]: Oh my god. [SPEAKER_02]: Olivia is actually a listener of this podcast.

[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to die. [SPEAKER_02]: I need her too. [SPEAKER_02]: I hope she actually. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, it's so it's there's so many things like that's such an amount of time. [SPEAKER_02]: I know and there's so many characters. [SPEAKER_02]: I mean when you think about how rich the story is that they built the town, but because like we're only talking about the main characters, we've got Patty, we've got that we've got Kirk, the town's killer, it's like, you know, there's so much to unpack.

[SPEAKER_02]: I think overall I'd love to know what kind of story you would like to see in the revival. [SPEAKER_04]: I would like to see them up to what made the show great in maybe like the the let's call it the apex the like season four season five area. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay really the drama is really balancing the community.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, like, you know, we got to get some townies in there. [SPEAKER_04]: We have to, there's got to be like, breweries, maybe the new Laurel Eye pink is the new black sort of moment where like, brewery can kind of now take the center stage. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay. [SPEAKER_04]: Who are you what are you doing?

[SPEAKER_04]: You know, I want to see what's up with Laurel Eye and Luke. [SPEAKER_04]: I hope that they're good. [SPEAKER_04]: I hope that things are fine. [SPEAKER_04]: Like, if they're still together and it's nine years past, like I would really hate for it to be like. [SPEAKER_00]: Was this wrong the whole time?

[SPEAKER_04]: Like, I just don't need that, like, like, let them be. [SPEAKER_04]: We've put lore life through enough romantically. [SPEAKER_04]: So like if something is going on with her maybe it's with the inn, maybe it's, you know, maybe she's selling the inn. [SPEAKER_04]: Maybe she's leaving, maybe it's time to go.

[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_04]: Maybe they're getting out. [SPEAKER_04]: Maybe yeah, maybe we're leaving stars hollow. [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_01]: That would be, I feel like very poignant to leave. [SPEAKER_01]: And it would leaving. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, for sure.

[SPEAKER_01]: Is there anything that you know about it for sure? [SPEAKER_01]: Other than Logan is wearing a blue shirt in that one photo. [SPEAKER_04]: I know, I think I know that the actor that plays Richard Herman Ed Herman is dead before I think he dies before they film the show. [SPEAKER_04]: I feel like Richard can't isn't there?

[SPEAKER_04]: Didn't he die? [SPEAKER_04]: Didn't he? [SPEAKER_02]: Ed Herman did die. [SPEAKER_02]: Yes. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes. [SPEAKER_01]: He has passed. [SPEAKER_02]: He has passed. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, they're he did so before after the show. [SPEAKER_04]: Okay, that I, okay, then I don't know. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to tell you.

[SPEAKER_04]: sure that's fine so really i don't know anything right that's amazing that's kind of great i have one spoiler i think what is it okay that was something that i already i i suspected but that we do find out that Michelle is gay [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yes. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: Okay. [SPEAKER_01]: And it's, there's nothing made of it. [SPEAKER_01]: He just immediately is just talking about great a man. [SPEAKER_04]: He doesn't end up with Taylor Ducey, which was another one of my. [SPEAKER_01]: I just said a man. [SPEAKER_01]: I just said a man. [SPEAKER_02]: It's pretty good.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, we talked about a spin off. [SPEAKER_02]: We did. [SPEAKER_02]: What's something off? [SPEAKER_02]: We talked about a spinoff. [SPEAKER_02]: I think we cut it from the episode just for time, but we talked about a spinoff of Michele and Taylor kind of running off together. [SPEAKER_02]: Did we?

[SPEAKER_02]: And the last step? [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Living as the audience. [SPEAKER_02]: Was it all the odd couple? [SPEAKER_02]: Sorry about that. [SPEAKER_04]: No, you were there. [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, you were there. [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe we were just the two of us actually.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that was one. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_01]: Actually, to be fair, I've said a lot since last February. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: I want to end this episode with a little fun fact that we'll bring you into the revival in that, and I may have told you this before, so I'm sorry if I'm repeating myself, but Amy always planned to end the series with the, like, this, what we called the final four words.

[SPEAKER_02]: There were four words she knew that she wanted to end the series with when she started writing it, and we get those in the revival. [SPEAKER_02]: Do you have a prediction for what those four words might be? [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I think you have them, no. [SPEAKER_04]: What those four, okay, it's four where she wanted to say four words.

[SPEAKER_02]: Four words were said. [SPEAKER_02]: Four words were said at the end of the series. [SPEAKER_02]: Or the revival. [SPEAKER_02]: And I don't know if it was from the very beginning that knew them, but some were the way when she realized how she wanted to end it. [SPEAKER_02]: She showed, there were four words that she kept very close to the vast.

[SPEAKER_04]: Please go watch Bun Heds. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_04]: All right. [SPEAKER_02]: That's okay. [SPEAKER_02]: You can marinate on a little bit. [SPEAKER_04]: Uh, and then there's no. [SPEAKER_04]: That's right. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, that ends.

[SPEAKER_02]: Blackout. [SPEAKER_04]: Your, um, you're a mommy, Roy. [SPEAKER_04]: This is one of those has to stick. [SPEAKER_01]: One of them, all right, great. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, all the black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black men's black

[SPEAKER_04]: I do think I'm gonna like it. [SPEAKER_04]: I like these people. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: I've spent a lot of time with these people. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, no. [SPEAKER_04]: And I don't expect it to be, I expect it to be like any, you know, Netflix revival of a thing that existed 20 years ago.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, for sure. [SPEAKER_01]: I do think that in terms of revivals, this one has a lot more thought put into it. [SPEAKER_01]: Like this is, there's thought. [SPEAKER_01]: They're all thought about it. [SPEAKER_04]: I'll say this as well. [SPEAKER_04]: Post Gilmour Girls. [SPEAKER_04]: She does, she does nasal.

[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, like, I know I made a joke about it, but like, she does bun heads, right? [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, she does bun heads. [SPEAKER_04]: She does, uh, uh, there's another, [SPEAKER_02]: the newer one is a twall. [SPEAKER_04]: Right. [SPEAKER_02]: But that was me, so it came out the year after the revival, the revival.

[SPEAKER_02]: The order was Gilmore girls, then bun heads, then revival, then nasal. [SPEAKER_02]: Is the return of jizzable james, not before bun heads? [SPEAKER_02]: The return of jizzable james was before bun heads. [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I didn't know that. [SPEAKER_04]: I thought the revival was more recent than that.

[SPEAKER_01]: No, 2016. [SPEAKER_01]: And then, 2017 is amazing. [SPEAKER_01]: But it's like real fast. [SPEAKER_01]: They come out like back to backlight. [SPEAKER_01]: It was November 2016. [SPEAKER_01]: And then March is 2017. [SPEAKER_04]: then I'll get to my point which was that I'm excited to see like having some space from that show and being able to come back to it even though she already had an idea of how she wanted to end it from the very beginning but having the space as an artist as a human being to then come back to these familiar folks is something that's really really interesting.

[SPEAKER_04]: I'm excited to see [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: It's just a special thing. [SPEAKER_01]: All right. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: And like regard this of how anyone feels about it. [SPEAKER_01]: Like when I sat down those nine years later to see my friends again, I was so overwhelmed.

[SPEAKER_01]: Like I could get really like process the plot that was happening because it was a very emotional experience. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: This was my life for so long. [SPEAKER_01]: It's still. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: And I guess it's good. [SPEAKER_04]: But it's like why I want to take some space before I watch it.

[SPEAKER_04]: So I can miss them a little bit. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: And I kind of want Tara to show you like the reunion that led to the right, right, right, revival because there was a reunion at ATX and it's kind of where the lower of the revival sort of started because Scott Patterson talked about it on Gilmore guys, then they brought it up at ATX and it kind of seemed like it was a snowball effect of everyone's together.

[SPEAKER_01]: Let's all do this again. [SPEAKER_01]: And I can't decide if I want you to watch it before [SPEAKER_01]: are you watching survival? [SPEAKER_01]: Because it's not spoilery in any way, but it's like there's there's hopes and dreams in it that don't make it fast. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I was going to say I kind of want to show him the promo of the revival like in in a couple months, just like show him kind of like the way that we received it, which was like finding out that there was going to be a revival the promo made me very emotional.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, I'm like debating on whether or not I should do promo or if we should just like dive into it. [SPEAKER_01]: I think you should just dive into it maybe afterwards because I want a kind of like it's kind of remarkable that you have been alive for as long as you have and have not been spoiled on anything.

[SPEAKER_04]: I don't like your tone. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't like your tone. [SPEAKER_01]: You say I feel like I'm puzzling you like that. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm just reflecting Social Security. [SPEAKER_01]: I think it's remarkable that you've been alive this long. [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: But without spoilers, it's so rare.

[SPEAKER_01]: Like I know you're not much of a social media guy, but like talking about Gilmore girls as much as you do in your home. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: I imagine it's like trying to serve you spoilers. [SPEAKER_01]: But it's starting. [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, it may be started to at one point.

[SPEAKER_04]: I think I got one spoiler through social media the entire time through all seven seasons and it was just so boring was going to go. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: And so I kind of like don't want you to see anything else. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Because you're going into it completely blind and I love that.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: That's rare and beautiful and we need to need you to be that person for us. [SPEAKER_04]: I'm really excited to go away and come back. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, because we'll have to hear your thoughts. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I want him to watch it like towards the end of the year.

[SPEAKER_02]: Like because it's about to be the 10 year anniversary in a version of all, which is crazy. [SPEAKER_02]: So it's kind of perfect for you to watch it this year. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: 10 years after we all watched it. [SPEAKER_02]: And to have you come back and share thoughts?

[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I'd be happy. [SPEAKER_01]: Took you 10 years to get through it. [SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, I know. [SPEAKER_01]: But now that you've gotten through it, what is your thoughts on the show? [SPEAKER_01]: Do you like it? [SPEAKER_04]: I really do. [SPEAKER_04]: I really do. [SPEAKER_04]: I did not expect to, I did not expect to like it going in.

[SPEAKER_04]: I expected it to be a really silly thing that I was going to watch for Tara and with Tara. [SPEAKER_04]: And part of, you know, what makes it special, maybe I talked about this last time, but part of what makes it special is that I did get to watch it with Tara and like part of the fun was getting to talk about it in real time while it was happening.

[SPEAKER_04]: with an expert. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, and even just as like, yeah, with an expert and also just as like with my best friend and just like have you experience it in a new way because Yeah, for sure. [SPEAKER_04]: Watching him with him, I definitely like caught a lot of things that I spent 80% of the of the show just looking at background actors and being like, [SPEAKER_04]: Why is that guy doing it?

[SPEAKER_02]: My god, George Bell is in so much of season seven. [SPEAKER_02]: So much more than we even talked about when we covered season seven. [SPEAKER_02]: I was like, oh, there he is. [SPEAKER_02]: Up there he is. [SPEAKER_02]: Up there he is again. [SPEAKER_02]: And I just told Brett about when he came out as the bailiff.

[SPEAKER_02]: I lost it because I was like, I can't get there. [SPEAKER_01]: What did you do here? [SPEAKER_01]: Are you in debt? [SPEAKER_01]: That's so many jobs. [SPEAKER_04]: But yeah, I see I get why people come back to it. [SPEAKER_04]: I understand, like, I get the comfort. [SPEAKER_04]: There's so many people to love in it.

[SPEAKER_04]: And it is an easy show. [SPEAKER_04]: It's simple. [SPEAKER_04]: It's like, the reason you can watch it so many times, at least I think, is that it is easily digestible. [SPEAKER_02]: And when the states are high, they're not that high. [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: That's what makes it.

[SPEAKER_02]: So it's a slice of life. [SPEAKER_02]: Like Amy always says, she makes the big small in the small big. [SPEAKER_02]: And that is truly what she does with Gilmore Girls is like, this is literally a show about two women in a small town, about three generations of women who are like just navigating life and the cooginess of the town that's built around them.

[SPEAKER_02]: And that's what makes it so special. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh yeah, pop culture references at the Wazoon. [SPEAKER_04]: It's silly. [SPEAKER_04]: I tell areas. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, it has some iconic characters in it. [SPEAKER_04]: It has like, it's a really well done piece of pop culture. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_04]: and it's of such an era. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, oh totally. [SPEAKER_04]: Especially now, we're all walking for an era. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: It's kind of like approaching a period piece at this point. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, which is, which is crazy. [SPEAKER_04]: I know there's a lot of times like Chris buying a flat screen TV and it was like, oh my god, it's a flat screen TV.

[SPEAKER_02]: It's so interesting. [SPEAKER_04]: OK, Daddy, money bag. [SPEAKER_02]: And like, Laura lies like, oh my god, it's huge. [SPEAKER_02]: It's like, when Michael Scott gets his plasma TV, we're like, [SPEAKER_02]: Wait, oh, dinner party, a little bit of party. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Well, thank you so much for sharing all of your predictions, your thoughts, your feels, your hot takes.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Thank you so much. [SPEAKER_04]: This is so special and like, thank you for sharing a thing that means so much to you. [SPEAKER_02]: Thank you for sharing a thing that means so much to me with me. [SPEAKER_04]: And thank you, Haley, for letting me be a part of this. [SPEAKER_04]: Thanks for joining.

[SPEAKER_01]: Thanks for being down to share all of your thoughts about a show. [SPEAKER_04]: You just thought you were going to watch Yeah, I'm sure like you know all of I've given you a lot of stuff that's we've talked I've watched it. [SPEAKER_04]: I've talked and it's like just fresh stuff That I haven't really had a lot of time to think about except for season six.

[SPEAKER_04]: I've had a lot of time [SPEAKER_01]: But I love the idea that like you started watching this so long ago and not realizing that when you got to the end of it, that like this is the year that you would be marrying each other, right? [SPEAKER_01]: Like it's been such like a vital part of your relationship.

[SPEAKER_01]: What are you going to watch next? [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, we have a list going. [SPEAKER_02]: You do have a list going. [SPEAKER_02]: You have a little list. [SPEAKER_02]: But the shows that we're currently watching right now that are like in real time are RuPaul's Drag Race, of course, and Trader's.

[SPEAKER_04]: Reality, comedy shows are big. [SPEAKER_04]: But yeah, in terms of like investing in a narrative. [SPEAKER_02]: Grays anatomy, right? [SPEAKER_02]: I would watch crazy anatomy. [SPEAKER_02]: I definitely, I definitely want to watch that. [SPEAKER_02]: But there was a show that you mentioned last year.

[SPEAKER_02]: And I wonder if you're going to mention it again. [SPEAKER_04]: I had talked about 30, right? [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, maybe 30 rock. [SPEAKER_01]: I just think that you just have to watch season like 12. [SPEAKER_01]: Of course not. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, okay. [SPEAKER_02]: I am going to invest in it.

[SPEAKER_02]: You know who's invested in it. [SPEAKER_01]: Nancy, why don't you answer me? [SPEAKER_01]: I know. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: She's a girl. [SPEAKER_01]: She is a girl. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm excited. [SPEAKER_02]: She was like, you need to get on the train. [SPEAKER_01]: I was like, but she said she watched it because I loved it so much.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's right. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, we talked about this. [SPEAKER_01]: He talked about that. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I brought the birthday. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, I do want to bring this completely full circle because at the end of the last episode that you were on, you said that you were on a little Taylor Swift journey because the Grammys have just happened and the Grammys have just happened.

[SPEAKER_02]: We saw like a little like a saw like the little picks and clips. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, it was us about the Grammys. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean Olivia Dean my girl. [SPEAKER_01]: She won. [SPEAKER_01]: Bad day. [SPEAKER_01]: We did have a pie with her. [SPEAKER_04]: We did have a pie with her. [SPEAKER_04]: We did have I'm with her on the late show tonight and they just want a couple Grammys and they're really lovely.

[SPEAKER_04]: Oh yeah, that was a nice book. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, they're really they're really great. [SPEAKER_04]: We're all I mean, I can't say that I'm like the a huge bad bunny fan, but I like what he does. [SPEAKER_02]: I'm excited. [SPEAKER_02]: Yes, he has Super Bowl performance. [SPEAKER_02]: I know.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: What we're recording this is Super Bowl is on Sunday. [SPEAKER_02]: He's like a precious angel. [SPEAKER_04]: Um, I, he's, it's the bunny and bad bunny. [SPEAKER_04]: It is the bunny. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: There are two. [SPEAKER_04]: Inside you. [SPEAKER_04]: There are two bunnies.

[SPEAKER_01]: What is that? [SPEAKER_01]: It was just bunny. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: I think he's that. [SPEAKER_04]: I still haven't listened to life of a showgirl. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: But you were going to move into folklore. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's right.

[SPEAKER_02]: I got to get him on the folklore train because it's my favorite album. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and maybe my day. [SPEAKER_01]: Can it be honestly my expectations were low? [SPEAKER_01]: Because I did take you quite a while to get through remote roles. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: I was like, you know what?

[SPEAKER_02]: If he listened to the entire torture post department last time. [SPEAKER_01]: Fair. [SPEAKER_01]: He was here. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: I also with music. [SPEAKER_04]: I'm even more ADHD than [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, TV. [SPEAKER_02]: But you're marathon training now.

[SPEAKER_02]: So that's true. [SPEAKER_02]: And I think that there are some songs. [SPEAKER_02]: You've listened to songs. [SPEAKER_04]: I'm already looking while I run. [SPEAKER_02]: That's true. [SPEAKER_02]: You guys are all cool. [SPEAKER_01]: We, I think I have some wrecks for you. [SPEAKER_01]: Because I know you love mythology.

[SPEAKER_04]: I do. [SPEAKER_04]: Yes. [SPEAKER_04]: I love mythology. [SPEAKER_04]: I like sci-fi. [SPEAKER_04]: I'm listening to the three-body problem right now, which is really lovely. [SPEAKER_04]: I just listened to, oh, I started project Hail Mary by Andy Weer. [SPEAKER_04]: And I just listened to the running man.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, because he saw the movie, yeah, I back to the movies for the first time in. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, but like I'm a huge like Madeleine Miller fan, like I love Sears Cee and the Song of a Keystone. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, you should read while reverence by Rebecca Ross, so as soon as I was, I was actually reading it, I think the last time, yes, we chatted because it's about a goddess who falls in love with a mortal man and because he used to dream of her when he was younger.

[SPEAKER_01]: Cool. [SPEAKER_01]: Love. [SPEAKER_03]: Mm-hmm. [SPEAKER_01]: That's a good thing. [SPEAKER_01]: Kind of a practical method. [SPEAKER_01]: And it's a standalone, there's like it's kind of connected to two other books that she wrote, but it's just very, it's like establishes the lore of the other book, and it's not really related at all, so like 500 years apart, but I think you would really.

[SPEAKER_01]: Cool. [SPEAKER_01]: I'll check it out. [SPEAKER_01]: The audiobook is excellent. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, it's been so like when I'm doing long runs like the music music is great, but sometimes when you're like on my old 11 of a run. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, and it's this. [SPEAKER_01]: I can't hold this anymore.

[SPEAKER_04]: I can focus on I can focus on a story better than I can. [SPEAKER_04]: Or I can zone out focusing on a story better than I can, like listening to music. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, music can be a good motivator on those things, but then after a while I'm sure it gets, yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not, yes, yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: It that one's a really slow build, but like it's one of those things that it's like, that's the payoff. [SPEAKER_01]: I read the Odyssey. [SPEAKER_01]: The Odyssey is like one of his favorite books. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's so slow build until the end. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, the Iliad is like there's an entire chapter where they name every single person that's going to the fight.

[SPEAKER_04]: It's an entire chapter where there's like, and this boat has Greg and Greg's dad named his name, and like literally that is a whole chapter of the book. [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, yeah, exactly. [SPEAKER_01]: But I don't feel I love a slow build personally, but that was a criticism a lot of people give, so whenever I recommend a book, I give criticism that other people feel.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, just as it cannot be honest that I have. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, people don't have uh, attention spans anywhere. [SPEAKER_02]: No one has said it in Spanish. [SPEAKER_02]: Like, what are my goals for 2026 is to have an attention home in on my attention span? [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, Haley is a big fan of the brick.

[SPEAKER_02]: You got it. [SPEAKER_02]: You got a brick? [SPEAKER_02]: No, but I'm going to get them out. [SPEAKER_04]: I like, uh, I've just, you could have a real break too. [SPEAKER_04]: I also deleted all my social media. [SPEAKER_04]: So now it's like, I still have the thing where I pick up my phone, but then there's nothing on it.

[SPEAKER_04]: And I'm like, alright, well, yeah, whatever. [SPEAKER_02]: We're on the journey. [SPEAKER_02]: Well, I'll take a look at this here with your run on that run. [SPEAKER_02]: But, uh, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, [SPEAKER_02]: for now. [SPEAKER_02]: Thank you guys so much for tuning in.

[SPEAKER_02]: As always, if you enjoyed this episode, feel free to leave us a little review. [SPEAKER_02]: Give us five stars on Apple or Spotify or wherever you listen to your podcast and also, yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Join us on YouTube. [SPEAKER_02]: Today's episode was a video episode. [SPEAKER_01]: And it was rather expressive.

[SPEAKER_02]: And it was rather expressive. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Brut swung a microphone. [SPEAKER_01]: That's true. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: There were a lot of actions you will miss if this is only audio for you. [SPEAKER_02]: It's very, very true. [SPEAKER_02]: Something that we brought up in today's episode was talking about Lane and Zack.

[SPEAKER_02]: And whether or not they were right for each other and kind of how their relationship penned out. [SPEAKER_02]: People had really strong feelings about that. [SPEAKER_02]: Speaking of having guests on the podcast, were Maya and Hunter. [SPEAKER_02]: And we're getting back to have a little conversation about whether or not Lane and Zach were really well suited for each other and why the audience couldn't get on board with their relationship.

[SPEAKER_01]: And we'll have more to say on that in the next episode.
