[SPEAKER_00]: Hi everybody, welcome back to Gilmour to say with Tara and Haley. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm Tara. [SPEAKER_00]: This is Haley. [SPEAKER_00]: Hi, Haley. [SPEAKER_00]: Hi, Tara. [SPEAKER_00]: I thought you were going to be like, hi, Sady. [SPEAKER_00]: Hi, Sady. [SPEAKER_00]: That was my first dog's name, actually.
[SPEAKER_01]: Was it? [SPEAKER_01]: That's a great dog name. [SPEAKER_01]: We had to get rid of her, though, because she actually didn't like any of us. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh no. [SPEAKER_01]: My mom got this is a terrible story to start with. [SPEAKER_01]: We didn't like getting it off with a [SPEAKER_01]: And she actually did not like any any four of the kids like she just genuinely like would terrorize us Did she like her boss?
[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, of course She was just like my mom, but our neighbors without kids ended up we'd like for like oh, do you [SPEAKER_01]: And so, hey, Mr. Wood, do you like a dog? [SPEAKER_01]: What did she look like? [SPEAKER_01]: She was like a mix with a golden and something else, but she was very short-haired.
[SPEAKER_00]: I just don't think that she was good with kids. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, sure. [SPEAKER_00]: They didn't express that, which they should have. [SPEAKER_00]: You have to. [SPEAKER_00]: You have to. [SPEAKER_00]: I got haily. [SPEAKER_00]: It's because of my algorithm, because I'm sick in the head, and I just have been watching nothing.
[SPEAKER_00]: but dogs like being surrendered by their owners and being in the shelter dogs and cats because like I just want to take all of them home and put them here or I just want to buy like a put them here you mean your home yeah like my home yeah but like there's also a part of me that just wants to like buy a whole like plot of land and build a dog farm a dog and an animal farm honestly just a rest of the animal.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like that. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, like I think. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, I'm sorry for them. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry for the upper book babies. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, a book that you would love you should definitely listen to the audiobook of is called Dogs Boys and other things I've cried about by Elizabeth Lee.
[SPEAKER_01]: She's I just read nothing but cry about dogs on the internet [SPEAKER_01]: But do you follow her at Simon Sitz? [SPEAKER_01]: She's been rescuing dogs for years and years and she posts about it online and she actually just was number one on New York Times a seller with this good bird but I might halfway through it and it's so good like just like the balance that she has of like finding these dogs comparing like dogs that she's rescuing that like [SPEAKER_01]: or fostering rather, and she can't wait to get rid of them.
[SPEAKER_01]: So boyfriends that she has, that she also can't wait to get rid of them, like to move on from the wall, and like the way that she just like kind of weaves, like love and love that she finds because she's engaged now with like stories of the dogs that she's fostered. [SPEAKER_01]: It's just so, like I get chills reading.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like I was crying reading it last night because it's just such a beautiful story. [SPEAKER_01]: So, hopefully, that's a better segue. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Into all the dogs and cats and animals to find to do. [SPEAKER_00]: I know. [SPEAKER_01]: And, like, I think that you have to think about the animal, but Sadie, she, you know, she went to a much happier, much happier home than she would have been with us.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, absolutely. [SPEAKER_00]: I think that it goes both ways that you have to make sure that, of course, the dog likes the kids and the kids like the dog. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, you wanted to love her, but like, of course you did. [SPEAKER_00]: It didn't seem like she wanted that. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, like she was into kids and that's just, you know, that's just information.
[SPEAKER_01]: You know what? [SPEAKER_01]: Same, Sadie. [SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, I hope Sadie's doing well. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, she is. [SPEAKER_00]: Love to Sadie. [SPEAKER_00]: Love to Sadie. [SPEAKER_00]: A big love to Sadie. [SPEAKER_00]: But anyway, [SPEAKER_00]: We are doing another Sadie Sadie episode.
[SPEAKER_00]: We did one last year when I told you all about my engagement and also about telling Haley about my engagement. [SPEAKER_00]: And today is actually when this episode airs the anniversary of me telling Haley that I got engaged because my engagement anniversary was two days ago and hopefully weren't going to pass.
[SPEAKER_00]: That was one of my favorite things I've ever done. [SPEAKER_00]: That's totally stressful experiences I've ever had in writing. [SPEAKER_01]: Just in the sense, not even stressful, but just trying to follow the story about pasta and trying to guess. [SPEAKER_01]: Trying to stay ahead of it.
[SPEAKER_01]: By trying to stay ahead of it, I was completely blindsided. [SPEAKER_01]: I just loved it. [SPEAKER_01]: I kept thinking like, when does the pasta come in? [SPEAKER_00]: When you kept thinking, when does Sabrina Carpenter come in? [SPEAKER_01]: I know you said it was set up for a birthday party, you know, like who's birthday, Sabrina Carpenter.
[SPEAKER_01]: Sabrina's birthday? [SPEAKER_01]: No idea when that girl's birthday is, but no. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't think she's a tourist. [SPEAKER_00]: I have no idea. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Go ahead and be able to tell you. [SPEAKER_00]: I just love that that was your first thought. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know why, but that's not what happened.
[SPEAKER_01]: Another short girl. [SPEAKER_01]: No, they're short belong to probes there and her name is Tara. [SPEAKER_01]: And you're going to have pasta at your wedding? [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I don't know. [SPEAKER_00]: You should. [SPEAKER_00]: We're going to do a tasting over the summer at the end of the summer or something.
[SPEAKER_00]: Me and you make decisions. [SPEAKER_00]: No, unfortunately, you can't come. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not invited. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, I think that there's only a certain amount of people that can come. [SPEAKER_00]: And it's going to be me, Brett, Nancy, probably my mom and our wedding planner.
[SPEAKER_01]: Actually, I don't even know if that many people can go up and I trade out for the wedding planner. [SPEAKER_00]: They're not going to eat. [SPEAKER_00]: Hello. [SPEAKER_00]: We'll see. [SPEAKER_00]: We'll see. [SPEAKER_00]: We'll talk. [SPEAKER_00]: We'll talk about this later. [SPEAKER_00]: But anyway, yeah, we had so much fun doing the engagement story last year.
[SPEAKER_00]: And I feel like y'all liked it. [SPEAKER_00]: And a lot of people have been in our DMs, especially when I talk about my wedding. [SPEAKER_00]: I go on Patreon on Instagram. [SPEAKER_00]: or even just in my personal DMs asking about different wedding details and I've shared a lot about my frifting experience and some other things on my Instagram and more to come as we get closer to the wedding, but I thought it would be really fun to kind of celebrate the anniversary of my engagement with a little city city segment, like we did last year.
[SPEAKER_00]: And kind of catch you guys up a little bit. [SPEAKER_00]: Because a lot has changed in the last year. [SPEAKER_01]: It has changed quite a bit. [SPEAKER_01]: So, [SPEAKER_00]: Ah, go where to where I love it. [SPEAKER_00]: Because, well, we'll have more updates as we go along. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh my gosh, I said this on an episode recently, and I don't know if it was on Patreon, or if it was publicly on Pod, but what kind of gave me the idea for this is that I was like, oh, well, probably, I don't know how much to share now, and I don't know how much to share after the wedding.
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, it was on the show. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, and one of our Patreon members was like, well, we're courts stuff now so that, like, you can share it after, or, you know, whatever you want to do. [SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, no, let's just do one now. [SPEAKER_00]: Why not? [SPEAKER_00]: Let's chat now.
[SPEAKER_01]: We'll have a little catch-up, a little make-hatch-up. [SPEAKER_01]: April showers bring me flowers. [SPEAKER_01]: Let's talk about wedding flowers, right? [SPEAKER_01]: Perfect. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's what I'm saying. [SPEAKER_00]: I think exactly how it goes. [SPEAKER_00]: So we put up a question on our Instagram, like a question box about, you know, any questions you guys had about wedding plans or details of the wedding.
[SPEAKER_00]: things that I want to talk about. [SPEAKER_00]: And so that's what we're going to go through today. [SPEAKER_00]: We're going to do most of them here on POP, but we're going to have an extended episode available for our Patreon members only. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: So if you want to hear all the details, you can hand over to Patreon, but we'll include quite a few here.
[SPEAKER_01]: And I went through the questions and pulled some that, like, I felt a lot of people asked. [SPEAKER_01]: So it was like, oh, this is something people are quite curious about. [SPEAKER_01]: Once that I found funny, ones that felt like our listeners should know about. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: And honestly, I could have asked you so many questions that we would be here for, like, six hours.
[SPEAKER_01]: So I tried to pair it down a little bit. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay. [SPEAKER_01]: But the first one is from a long time [SPEAKER_01]: She is actually planning her own wedding. [SPEAKER_00]: And she's getting married this year. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we're getting married like one week apart from each other.
[SPEAKER_01]: Really? [SPEAKER_00]: The date that she chose is actually the original date that brought us, so she's getting married like the week before. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, love. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, but I also have to tell you guys, she sent us a video the other night. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh my God, I think her guest book, [SPEAKER_01]: is going to be playing cards, so smart, so far.
[SPEAKER_01]: I loved that, I thought that was so cute. [SPEAKER_01]: But one of the things about these cards was her mom was like, oh, you're not gonna believe this. [SPEAKER_01]: Like, I'm gonna have to give you a history lesson here about who is on these playing cards and it was the deon quintuplets.
[SPEAKER_01]: And I was shocked to see that these even existed and Christie was like, boy, do I have something to tell you? [SPEAKER_00]: I know exactly who these poor gals are. [SPEAKER_00]: And I was obsessed with that. [SPEAKER_01]: So if you're being a Christie's wedding and you get a deon quintuplet, you can go, she actually offered to send them to us.
[SPEAKER_00]: I know I alone don't want one. [SPEAKER_00]: I think we should definitely have one. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, so before we actually get into this, I have been having this thought about, I know that everybody does junk journals. [SPEAKER_00]: You included a junk journal queen. [SPEAKER_01]: I have so much junk, [SPEAKER_00]: I have so much junk too so I'm thinking of reverse junk journaling like I have so many things that I have saved over the years that I want to start making junk journals and be like, especially when I moved in, can you explain what reverse trunk journaling is I think that's throwing things away.
[SPEAKER_00]: No, like building a scrapbook of the things that I have kept. [SPEAKER_00]: So as if I have done it throughout the year, but I'm instead going to do it like retrospective jump. [SPEAKER_00]: That's what I'm doing it. [SPEAKER_00]: But I'm not doing it as it's going. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, well, I mean, I'm still working on mine from 2024.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I just mean like I have stuff from like 2014 when I first moved here. [SPEAKER_00]: Take its dubs stickers. [SPEAKER_00]: You know what I mean? [SPEAKER_00]: Like opening nine hearts from shows that I worked on. [SPEAKER_00]: So it's like I'm going to start doing something like that to kind of have a really fun way to like save or those things instead of them sitting in a box because I just have boxes or bags or stuff with things that I've kept.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like I have [SPEAKER_00]: Speaking of 2024, I have like the dynasty typewriter sticker that we got from dynasty typewriter, and it's like I would love to put that somewhere, you know? [SPEAKER_00]: I have that little St. Louis penid. [SPEAKER_01]: Wait, you should make, I have a bit more to say junk journal.
[SPEAKER_01]: And it's a little far like lean ticket. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I see little like press releases, I've been sent for books and stuff. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, see, maybe I'll theme them instead of doing by year. [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe I'll do like a New York Journal. [SPEAKER_01]: You should definitely get a white one and do it for your wedding.
[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I should. [SPEAKER_01]: I thought you would say actually. [SPEAKER_01]: When you start a first junk journaling, I'm like, that's just not collecting anything. [SPEAKER_01]: It's just throwing stuff away. [SPEAKER_00]: But no, just like doing it in retrospect, rather than doing it in real time, is kind of having things that we do in so many boxes.
[SPEAKER_00]: But I know a lot of people do. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Keep them for things that they're going to put in their junk journal for the year. [SPEAKER_00]: And I used to do that like I used to keep my planners and now I feel like I just want to take certain pages out of my old planners because I have old planners from God knows how long and some Sometimes I feel like ripped pages out of my planner to keep them because I'm like well I want to remember this and like what I was doing on this day or this moment whatever and then I'll throw the rest of the planner away But I have a ton of planners that I haven't done that with that I can just take certain things cut them out at them.
[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I mean? [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah [SPEAKER_00]: So kind of a part- scrapbook, part-junct journal, that's what I'm doing it and yeah, kind of retrospect. [SPEAKER_00]: So I'm really excited. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and it's gonna be my summer project. [SPEAKER_01]: What is it? [SPEAKER_01]: The Harry Styles album?
[SPEAKER_01]: Case all the time disco occasionally. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, collect junk all the time journal occasionally. [SPEAKER_01]: That's me. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I just have bags of junk to put in my junk journal and like luckily I remember what everything's from so I could put it in chronologically, but like yeah, I'm still working on mine from 2024 and 2025.
[SPEAKER_01]: I haven't actually put anything from 26 in yet. [SPEAKER_00]: It's a slow process. [SPEAKER_00]: I just slow build and that's why I want to kind of take the summer to do mine. [SPEAKER_00]: I might talk you about it. [SPEAKER_00]: Do a couple of logs because I am very excited to go through this stuff.
[SPEAKER_00]: and put it into like books that I can then put like on my fireplace. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you really need to do it for wedding. [SPEAKER_01]: I feel like there's so many so much like junk. [SPEAKER_01]: If you will, Mandy hates that it's called a junk journal. [SPEAKER_01]: She wants, she keeps telling me to call it my sentimental journal.
[SPEAKER_00]: It is. [SPEAKER_00]: It is. [SPEAKER_00]: I think it's like, yeah, I mean, that's why they call them like scrapbooks, junk scrap, like it's kind of all similar, but it's, yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: It's stuff that is such, I think it's in my treasures. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, my treasure journal, one man's trash, one girl's trash is also her treasure.
[SPEAKER_01]: It's also her treasure. [SPEAKER_01]: Her receipt from Lala Land is also her treasure. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, exactly. [SPEAKER_00]: No, I have so many receipts from my trip to Scotland that I took back in 2013. [SPEAKER_00]: And honestly, up until recently, I had receipts from, because that was my first trip ever abroad.
[SPEAKER_00]: And I went there for the Unemiroferage Festival. [SPEAKER_00]: But I have tickets from that experience. [SPEAKER_00]: And also up until recently, I had receipts from when I went to Paris in 2019. [SPEAKER_00]: And I just ended up throwing them away because I was like, they're faded. [SPEAKER_00]: No one knows if I had a junk journal in 2019, they might have been preserved.
[SPEAKER_00]: But I was like, you know what, I'm good. [SPEAKER_00]: I'll do something else with these. [SPEAKER_00]: I'll do something else to commemorate it. [SPEAKER_01]: You can do it in like a journal UI where like I used to like write a little journal entry and then on the other page like tape all the tickets and receipts in.
[SPEAKER_01]: And so it was like kind of like half journal half done. [SPEAKER_00]: That's really like the journal part of jump journal. [SPEAKER_00]: So you can always do I think you should do up for your wedding? [SPEAKER_01]: Not be nice. [SPEAKER_00]: We'll be fun. [SPEAKER_00]: Stay tuned, but anyway, back to my wedding, back to KP and her actual question.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, just shared a little tid bit about her. [SPEAKER_00]: She said, how does it feel to be a child bride at 34? [SPEAKER_00]: That really made me laugh. [SPEAKER_00]: I, when I saw that, because I saw some of the answers, but then I was like, no, I want to be surprised. [SPEAKER_00]: That made me laugh so hard, because I want to be like, I don't know you tell me, but she's also getting a child ride.
[SPEAKER_00]: The week before me, it's, um, it's so funny how like I forget often that I'm 34 all the time. [SPEAKER_01]: I, and because I still feel so so young and 34 is young, but 34 is young, but how are you not 16? [SPEAKER_01]: Like how are you not like my 16-year-old friend when like my sister-in-law got pregnant for the first time.
[SPEAKER_01]: I was like, oh my god, what are you gonna do? [SPEAKER_01]: Like, what? [SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god, shoot, you're a teen mom. [SPEAKER_01]: Silly married with a house, like, intentionally wanted to have a baby. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, yeah, I it's weird. [SPEAKER_00]: I truly sometimes I'm like a not am I ready for this in the sense that like obviously I love Brett so much we've talked about this for so long like we're very ready to get married But in general, I'm like my god, I'm gonna be someone's wife.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and why do you have a jelly cat? [SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean Like can you buy myself and I know you keep your stuffies on your bed that your husband I do so sleep [SPEAKER_01]: What it's weird where his do you guys in the unite your stuffies like your he doesn't have stuffies He has his body pillow.
[SPEAKER_00]: Okay. [SPEAKER_00]: That's his stuffy and then I have a body pillow But I also have three stuffies. [SPEAKER_01]: Does he he doesn't have any from his childhood that like I feel like it you're wedding You're you need to have like a like your families coming together You need to have your stuffies come together.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, no, but he was so accommodating about my stuffies I was like I don't know where they're gonna go and of course, you know like if and when we have kids [SPEAKER_00]: But even that feels weird to say, because I'm still a kid. [SPEAKER_01]: No, you can't have children yet. [SPEAKER_00]: No, I guess that's similarly I feel like I'm still a kid in so many ways.
[SPEAKER_00]: And so it's very surreal. [SPEAKER_00]: Surreal is the answer, KP. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: It's so wild to be a child, Brad, when you're 34. [SPEAKER_01]: Mm, true. [SPEAKER_01]: So Katie, our bestie Katie asked, growing up, did Gilmour Girls influence how you picture your wedding to be like, because we all, you know, we all have this idea as we're getting older that like, changes.
[SPEAKER_01]: If you will, our Pinterest board changes from year to year, girl, my Pinterest board was so ugly. [SPEAKER_01]: I like Loki because I remember when we talked about weddings. [SPEAKER_01]: I guess it was in 2022 We talked about like old Pinterest boards that we had our weddings You need to like share your like old boards.
[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, so I actually delete it them [SPEAKER_00]: I think I should take some time to come in. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I really should take some time to come in. [SPEAKER_00]: But I could tell you exactly what it was. [SPEAKER_00]: It was every, all of my parts means we're in plum purple. [SPEAKER_00]: It was plum purple.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you were side by side of like this is what I wanted. [SPEAKER_01]: This is what I'm doing. [SPEAKER_00]: This is what I wanted in 2012. [SPEAKER_00]: And this is what I'm doing, you know? [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: 14 years later. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, there were so many different things I wanted like, and any change throughout the years of course, as it always does, I wanted a donut wall or donut tower and you know, it still sounds fun.
[SPEAKER_00]: I love a donut. [SPEAKER_00]: Don't get me wrong. [SPEAKER_00]: But as far as going back to Katie's question, if Gilmore girls influenced the way that I viewed my wedding, no, not at all. [SPEAKER_00]: But movies did. [SPEAKER_01]: 100%. [SPEAKER_00]: I've always pictured my wedding, I think when I was younger, I pictured it in a church because that felt very like, that's what you do.
[SPEAKER_00]: You get married in a church and then you have your reception. [SPEAKER_00]: And then I eventually was like, no, I picture myself getting married at a venue and then going downstairs and and partying and that's what we're going to do because we're getting married in a house. [SPEAKER_00]: tell, but I think that movies that romanticize, like I'm trying to pinpoint one specifically because there's an image in my mind, but I think movies and television in general, but I wouldn't say Gilmore Girls specifically know because we don't really see too many.
[SPEAKER_01]: No. [SPEAKER_01]: The only thing that's ever like felt Gilmore leaning is reflecting light. [SPEAKER_01]: Like that's always felt like a wanting to incorporate that include that in some way. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but I think because the weddings don't ever feel like with aligned with anything that I personally would want.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like the closest is like maybe Emily and Richard. [SPEAKER_00]: That thing Emily and Richard kind of in this big ballroom and [SPEAKER_00]: That's really the closest thing to like a wedding we see with the exception of Liz and TJ's wedding we get the vows I think that's maybe the only time that we really see besides lanes wanting at gas Wedding and yeah, we see so many different bits and pieces of people's weddings We're what we mostly see are the receptions and so the actual wedding itself when I think of that I think of myself walking down the aisle and I always see like the area just my own walking you down the aisle [SPEAKER_00]: It's okay.
[SPEAKER_01]: You're rocking down the aisle to your own. [SPEAKER_01]: Give me my downing. [SPEAKER_00]: Um, he could, he's not, he's not, but he could find, but no, I see that like, you know, cinematic, vast aerial shot of walking down the, the church aisle, like I think, you know, whatever movies I used to watch as a kid growing up, that kind of, we need a drone.
[SPEAKER_00]: So what we're saying is, we need a drone, yes, yes, no, but I, nothing necessarily about Gilmore girls ever, ever came to mind when it came to planning my wedding, transparent interesting. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, I feel like that relates to [SPEAKER_01]: Coi underscore Rosie's question is what is one coin underscore Some of these I like knew their names because it was figry obvious or like I They're in our community a lot and I recognize their names.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I just wanted to do not but I Coi underscore Rosie they ask what's one thing you've always wanted for your wedding and you are including [SPEAKER_01]: because I feel like it's so fun to look back at like Chevron from 2012 and be like never in a million years. [SPEAKER_01]: But I feel like there's something that like you've always wanted and you're like, this will be there.
[SPEAKER_00]: First on that list is my family. [SPEAKER_00]: Like the people. [SPEAKER_00]: That's never changed. [SPEAKER_01]: You will. [SPEAKER_00]: That the list has changed for friends, not family. [SPEAKER_00]: But if I had gotten married in 2012 when I was planning my Chevron wedding, you wouldn't have been there because I didn't know you wouldn't have been there as it turns out.
[SPEAKER_00]: my family for sure. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm trying to think of like any unique pieces that I was like, oh, I have to do this at my wedding. [SPEAKER_00]: Let me think on that. [SPEAKER_00]: I might have to come back to that question because I don't have anything immediately that comes to mind.
[SPEAKER_00]: I think so much of your like must-haves at your wedding, especially when you're 34 year old child, bright like myself. [SPEAKER_00]: They really shift over the years because, like, you think that there are certain things that are so vastly important. [SPEAKER_00]: And then you attend weddings, you're in weddings, like, there are so many different components.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that start to shift. [SPEAKER_00]: And for me, that is 100% true. [SPEAKER_00]: There are certain things that I'm sure 10 plus years ago is like, well, of course, we have to do this. [SPEAKER_00]: And I'm like, yeah, no, we don't actually. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I feel like if in the sentimental aspect of it, having a very supportive family of your spouse, like that's something you can like, like who doesn't want like a dreamy mother in law, you know, and that's so many people for it is something a lot of people hope for and a lot of people don't receive, and I'm so lucky to have one, like yeah, I can't tell you how many times I've just been like, oh my god, I'm so grateful for Nancy, like thank you.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, [SPEAKER_00]: I just hit the plot. [SPEAKER_01]: Nancy's like not only like like such a like a great person that you're like bringing into your family as your mother-in-law She's like yeah create person in our community too. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god. [SPEAKER_01]: Like she's been a bestie forever and so I feel like that's like that's like a [SPEAKER_01]: She's marrying into the Gilmore to say family.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, absolutely. [SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, it's also it's not just her all of Brett's family is so wonderful and I love them and I'm you know for me this wedding has been of course about me and Brett, but it's really about our families coming together because family is so important to me and I love my family so much and the idea that like you know [SPEAKER_00]: When you get married, you are blending families.
[SPEAKER_00]: That is exactly what you're doing. [SPEAKER_00]: That is something that, luckily, Bright and I both have really strong relationships with our family. [SPEAKER_00]: And we can bring them together. [SPEAKER_00]: And there's something really beautiful and impactful about that. [SPEAKER_00]: That's what I'm really mostly focused on.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Of course, everybody, having a great time. [SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, cutting that cake. [SPEAKER_01]: Cut that cake. [SPEAKER_01]: I didn't put a name down because a lot of people actually asked this question. [SPEAKER_01]: But they asked what's been the most exciting part of the planning process?
[SPEAKER_00]: I think just all of the possibilities of what a wedding can be, especially in modern times, I think that weddings have shifted so much generationally, like there used to be something very cookie-cutter about weddings, and there's been a lot more leeway for people to kind of do what they want to do, really focus on the couple.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you're focused on the two of you and what's unique to you and what you want to do rather than what like everybody's expectations of you are and there's definitely some of that in there don't don't don't But for the most part this really has been us curating our wedding to be something that is unique to us.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and I find that to be very special. [SPEAKER_00]: I have also [SPEAKER_00]: Loved loved loved loved sourcing things like thrifting things for my wedding and I've been doing that for the last year I literally went out yesterday and documented it on Instagram and that was so fun for me to like share with everybody Some things I find I love thrifting.
[SPEAKER_00]: I love showing people like hey, I got this thing. [SPEAKER_00]: I got a glass yesterday It could will it was a good [SPEAKER_00]: $1.99 which already was like very affordable and it was 50% off. [SPEAKER_00]: I got it for a dollar and I was so excited. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah I found this cute little bag that retails.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's my I'm calling it my little vanilla girl bag because you know Yeah vanilla year. [SPEAKER_00]: It was brand new from a website. [SPEAKER_00]: I hadn't heard of but I googled it and it's like a vegan leather cream bag That retails for like over $90 and it was $20 [SPEAKER_00]: new attack.
[SPEAKER_00]: So good. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, and I'm just like, Oh, I love this stuff. [SPEAKER_00]: And I thrifted some brass candlesticks and some pillar candles. [SPEAKER_00]: And I was just like, Oh, I love this. [SPEAKER_00]: This sourcing this stuff is really fun for me. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: I've had a lot of fun doing that.
[SPEAKER_01]: Unlike the opposite side of that, I hope I'm saying your name right. [SPEAKER_01]: Mina Crum 07, they kind of spun the question, which is, what do you most excited to be over in terms of the planning process? [SPEAKER_01]: Other people's opinions? [SPEAKER_00]: You said it, not me. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, no, I think that, yeah, there are a lot of opinions.
[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm very lucky to have like the Bright Knight both have families where it's like, hey, whatever you want at the end of the day, this is your day, because there are a lot of people who don't have that luxury out there. [SPEAKER_00]: There are a lot of people who like, especially if parents or any family members are contributing monetarily to the day, they want a say in certain things and we don't have that.
[SPEAKER_00]: We're not facing that, which I'm very lucky for. [SPEAKER_00]: Or it's just family to maybe feel really opinionated. [SPEAKER_00]: Or feel very opinionated. [SPEAKER_00]: There's that pressure to adhere to like what the group wants, if you will. [SPEAKER_00]: And there hasn't not been that in various ways.
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think any of it comes from a place like an ill-intended place. [SPEAKER_00]: I just think people have opinions and people have expectations. [SPEAKER_00]: And you want to make sure you keep everybody happy because this day is about you. [SPEAKER_00]: But it is also about like I said, bringing people together.
[SPEAKER_00]: And so you want to make sure that you are thinking about other people as well. [SPEAKER_00]: because I've been a part of weddings where the couple is not thinking about anybody put themselves into a certain extent. [SPEAKER_00]: I understand that, but there has to be room in your in your brain space to think about other people.
[SPEAKER_00]: And so I've been trying to accommodate a lot of a lot of that. [SPEAKER_00]: So maybe I'm I'm excited for that part to be over. [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe I'll have more of an answer for that as we could close our eyes. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's right now. [SPEAKER_01]: It hasn't been like too stressful.
[SPEAKER_00]: It's just been, you know, we've just been in the midst of planning, but we're about five months out. [SPEAKER_00]: And I have a feeling that as we get closer to like two or three months out, I'm going to be like, okay, I'm ready for this part to be over. [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe or maybe not.
[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe I'll feel very differently. [SPEAKER_00]: We're very lucky to have. [SPEAKER_00]: We're in really good hands. [SPEAKER_00]: We have a great wedding planner. [SPEAKER_01]: We have, you know, everything in our disposal that we could possibly have to make this a really fun and like as least stressful as it could be, doesn't mean stress isn't going to happen, but yeah, you know, they are, oh, there will be stress, yes, there will be one of our besties remembered this, which I loved and they asked the question, if you are going to have mother daughter dance that you're wedding because you are so close to her.
[SPEAKER_00]: This is a great question because I always kind of envisioned myself doing a mother-daughter dance, and I'm not sure I have to talk to my mom on the choreographed. [SPEAKER_01]: No way, no way, no way. [SPEAKER_00]: Man, I don't know that actually, maybe, maybe, do you mean you would love that?
[SPEAKER_00]: Just do a little like 30 second, a little 30 second thing. [SPEAKER_00]: Um, I'm going to talk to her because I don't know if she wants to do that. [SPEAKER_00]: It's really funny because initially something that I had decided like a few years ago, like over, when I say a few, I mean, like over 10 years ago, was that I wanted both my parents to walk me down the aisle.
[SPEAKER_00]: And yeah, I really appreciate tradition, but I also think there is something a little, um, archaic about being like, and this is the man who's giving me a way to another man. [SPEAKER_00]: It just feels a little like, you know, I always wanted to walk myself down the aisle. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, there's also some way.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm giving myself away, but the way I see it is like both of my parents are giving me a way. [SPEAKER_00]: And when I said that to my mom, they're giving, that that content makes me cackle. [SPEAKER_00]: They're giving you a way. [SPEAKER_00]: It's giving like, you know, Laura like you'll more, I think he and my father have come to an agreement on how many goats I'm worth, you know.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: What would Brett do with goats? [SPEAKER_00]: He would do goat yoga. [SPEAKER_00]: He'd be very excited to just play with them. [SPEAKER_00]: He just be like, on all fours, just playing with them. [SPEAKER_00]: But I do appreciate the traditional nature of that. [SPEAKER_00]: Even my dad, when I said something about him walking me down the aisle, he was like, oh, am I going to do that?
[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, yeah, if you want. [SPEAKER_00]: Like, they've really left it up. [SPEAKER_00]: Are you going to be there? [SPEAKER_00]: they've really left it up to me on like what I want to do and I also mentioned the father daughter dance and he was like oh do you do you want to do that?
[SPEAKER_00]: He said it's all up to you like you tell me what to do and where to be and I'll be there. [SPEAKER_00]: So these are our dance lessons for your graphics. [SPEAKER_00]: Do the song for dad? [SPEAKER_00]: I do have a song for dad. [SPEAKER_00]: I think I have a couple of different ones and we can talk actually talk about that in a second but I'm [SPEAKER_00]: for my mom.
[SPEAKER_00]: I think I said something about both of them walking me down the island. [SPEAKER_00]: She was like, oh, well, I feel like that's really for your dad. [SPEAKER_00]: Like, I think she wants him to have that moment. [SPEAKER_00]: Have a moment. [SPEAKER_00]: Have like a shining moment. [SPEAKER_00]: We had this conversation of very long time ago.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I think before I was even engaged. [SPEAKER_00]: So I don't know if she feels the same way, but I'm not going to lie to you. [SPEAKER_00]: Given the space that we're working with. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't think all three of us will be down the night. [SPEAKER_01]: I believe you could go.
[SPEAKER_00]: So I think we just need to get my dad real slender real quick. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, [SPEAKER_00]: No one can, no one can be very bad at all. [SPEAKER_00]: You know, it would be very bad for everyone involved. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, like pretty reasonably-sized people. [SPEAKER_01]: What if you guys just shuffle sideways?
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, oh, yeah, I could do like a little day. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, like just shuffle sideways on the aisle. [SPEAKER_00]: It would be really sweet, but you know what, it's fine. [SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, also, again, it kind of goes back to expectations, and it's like, did my mom always picture her standing at the front and watching me walk down the aisle with my dad, you know?
[SPEAKER_00]: And if that's what she wants, like, I'm not. [SPEAKER_00]: For lack of a better term married enough to being like no, I want both of you to walk down the aisle if that was what I wanted And I insisted on that. [SPEAKER_00]: I know both of them would do it. [SPEAKER_01]: You know if they would be so ready I also do love like when the parents could seated before and like Brett walks your mom turn her seat Yeah, that's quite cute.
[SPEAKER_01]: I was like that moment [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we haven't really determined what that's all going to look like. [SPEAKER_00]: Like, I don't know if my brother's going to walk my mom down the aisle and and seat her, you know, kind of a thing like how we want to incorporate, because we want to incorporate as many people as we can.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I always like when it's like, Brett walks here, mom down, your brother walks, Nancy down, like when it's like real blending of the family to show that like we're all here. [SPEAKER_01]: We're all in this together. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, we love this. [SPEAKER_01]: That's why I saw my mom, [SPEAKER_00]: Do choreography, too.
[SPEAKER_00]: By the way, speaking of choreographing. [SPEAKER_01]: Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. [SPEAKER_01]: Should we do we're all in this together choreographed for Mother Daughter Dance? [SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god, she would die. [SPEAKER_00]: And we do the wild cats bridge. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we have to include the bridge.
[SPEAKER_01]: What is it without the bridge? [SPEAKER_01]: Oh my gosh, I can't wait for your high school musical themed wedding. [SPEAKER_00]: Thank you. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm telling you, 27 year old me who played Sharpen her high school production of high school school would be very proud. [SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, going back to the mother daughter dance of it all, I have considered that, but I have to talk about what's going to happen.
[SPEAKER_00]: I know we did, but I have to tell you we're not going to do that. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry. [SPEAKER_00]: Why? [SPEAKER_00]: I thought we wanted to have fun. [SPEAKER_00]: I thought that we were going to have fun. [SPEAKER_00]: The thing that I'm really thinking about doing for my wedding, when it comes to the music and something that like Bret and I caught up with a bunch of masks was about music.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we are having a live band and I'm really, really excited because of that, I do think that there are some limitations. [SPEAKER_01]: High school musical? [SPEAKER_01]: They're gonna bring out the drum that you wear like the big bass drum You're just sitting in the back with the big E for east side like east high east high, is that right?
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and everyone's like E? [SPEAKER_01]: E? [SPEAKER_00]: No, no, no, no, we're they came from dead Have you watched Severance yet? [SPEAKER_00]: No, not yet We have to watch it But there's a marching band at some point, and it's really Oh, I have very mixed ideas about what that should be about And it's with your friend [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, Tramai, yeah, it's not my friend, but I worked on a show with him.
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, what a dream of a man. [SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, so because we have a live band, it is going to be a little more difficult to, I think, like, request kind of niche songs. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm sure we could. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we'll get some underaction in there. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: But, you know, for me outside of the traditional, like, I am going to have a dance with my dad, Bret and Nancy have something planned with a bit of a really [SPEAKER_00]: I think so.
[SPEAKER_00]: I actually really don't know. [SPEAKER_00]: It's a surprise for me, too. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, this better be choreographed. [SPEAKER_00]: But like there are times in the night where it's like, I want to, I want to have a dance with Billy, Brett Stad and Tim and Brett Stad. [SPEAKER_00]: But I was debating on whether or not I wanted to have like certain songs throughout the night where like, [SPEAKER_00]: When they get played I go over to that person.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like I requested this song for the two of us, you know, kind of a thing. [SPEAKER_00]: We so that it's like I'm gonna cry like we know it's like our dance, but it doesn't have to be in front of everybody Which with like just us on the dance floor that sometimes like can be very intimidating for you And for someone who's not a strong strong mover if you.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so I had something in mind for my mom and actually like the thought of it Makes me want to sob and I'm not going to talk about it here because in case we do it, I don't [SPEAKER_00]: Like I want to see this surprise. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm almost in sometimes. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, she's an avid listener But this would be one that she would stumble upon and he would stumble upon it because she'd want to hear like what I'm sharing.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but I'll tell you about it off podcast. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, okay [SPEAKER_00]: A manic fry? [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Is there really like must play songs, though? [SPEAKER_01]: Like you're like, we have one of the other side. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, the nights are done.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm a basic lady and like if September by earth, wind and fire doesn't play, I'm going to be very upset. [SPEAKER_01]: It'll be October, but we will be jamming. [SPEAKER_01]: But we will be jamming. [SPEAKER_00]: Like that means like the perfect start to, I mean, it just gets everybody on the dance floor, you know?
[SPEAKER_00]: I must admit to it, I'm not right now. [SPEAKER_00]: It's so good, you know, it's such a good one. [SPEAKER_00]: There are certain songs that brighten I are like, we have to play this, we have to play that, but we are really excited to go through very set list and pick and choose because obviously we can say like, we don't want this one, we don't want that one.
[SPEAKER_01]: I was going to say, are there any of that you are like, we will not play this. [SPEAKER_00]: Um, there was, like, a couple on there that I was like, we do not need this, but I don't remember off the top of my head what it was. [SPEAKER_00]: We haven't looked at those. [SPEAKER_00]: So we do the electric slide.
[SPEAKER_00]: We could do the electric slide. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, the one that Brett said we can do and this ended up becoming a conversation that I recorded and put on Instagram was that he refuses to have the chicken dance. [SPEAKER_00]: And the chicken dance was really big in the 90s. [SPEAKER_00]: My parents did the chicken dance like I've pictures of them like doing the chicken dance Because it was such an early 90s thing and We got to an argument about what the lyrics are.
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, there aren't lyrics to the actual song But when people say it they have specific lyrics Bye [SPEAKER_00]: When I was learning the chicken dance as a child, they would do, I don't want to be a chicken. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to be a duck, so I'll shake my butt. [SPEAKER_00]: Brett learned, I don't want to be a chicken.
[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to be a duck, so kiss my butt and that's what I learned. [SPEAKER_00]: That's what you learned. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, so we had a kiss versus shake argument, and I've heard that. [SPEAKER_00]: Shake makes more sense. [SPEAKER_00]: But thank you. [SPEAKER_00]: I appreciate it.
[SPEAKER_01]: Brett thinks the kiss makes more sense. [SPEAKER_01]: You're like, no, Brett, William, William, Brad. [SPEAKER_00]: You are literally shaking that butt. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but his argument was like, I don't want to be a chicken. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to be a duck. [SPEAKER_00]: Kiss my ass!
[SPEAKER_00]: Wait, I need to say that you don't eat. [SPEAKER_01]: It was really, really funny. [SPEAKER_00]: And he was like, like, make this make sense. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to be a chicken. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to be a duck. [SPEAKER_00]: So I'm just going to act like a chicken and a duck and shake my butt.
[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, um... [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I don't know if that's what they say so. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, well actually it's the dance. [SPEAKER_01]: Actually logically Brett is correct But like that does make more sense. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to be a trick and I don't want to be a dog So kiss my butt like you know that just like really tracks I don't want to be a chicken.
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to be a duck so I'm gonna shake my butt like [SPEAKER_01]: But my own means. [SPEAKER_01]: What is it doing? [SPEAKER_01]: So I'm gonna shake my mind. [SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't make sense with the lyrics. [SPEAKER_01]: It makes sense with the movement. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Wow, that is really the hard-hitting loaded questions.
[SPEAKER_01]: We're asking for an interim. [SPEAKER_01]: Wow. [SPEAKER_01]: Wow. [SPEAKER_01]: And you guys haven't solved this. [SPEAKER_01]: And you still think you're ready for marriage? [SPEAKER_00]: I know. [SPEAKER_00]: You're my God. [SPEAKER_00]: We should really be considered. [SPEAKER_00]: If you're a counselor out there, please, please give me a minute.
[SPEAKER_01]: As it turns out, I think given the lore, you have to play this song. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, yeah, I know. [SPEAKER_00]: It's like we played it at my parents wedding. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if Nancy and Tim played it at their wedding, but were you at your parents wedding? [SPEAKER_00]: No, but you said, are you?
[SPEAKER_00]: So I was like, oh, I thought I said they. [SPEAKER_00]: We played it at my parents wedding. [SPEAKER_00]: I know that they're like me. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't think you were there. [SPEAKER_00]: I was like a thought yet. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, I guess I was maybe a conversation, but yeah, no, that was one that he said, like, I do not want them playing the chicken dance.
[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, I don't think it's on their list, but we could talk to them and make sure they know. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, now it has to be on their list. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, as it turns out, sorry, unfortunately. [SPEAKER_01]: Unfortunately, we can't play any full-core so thinking of like popular songs, but I'm like, that's sad.
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, this is me trying. [SPEAKER_01]: That's the wrong vibe, you know? [SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, we'll get there. [SPEAKER_01]: We'll get there. [SPEAKER_01]: I have some must-play songs that will add later. [SPEAKER_01]: Perfect. [SPEAKER_01]: So let's talk colors. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_01]: A lot of question about colors. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: One of them asked, well, I say one of them, but one of them that was asked quite a lot was if your dress is white. [SPEAKER_00]: call that cream. [SPEAKER_00]: This is more cream, but um no, my dress is more of a cream like an off-white, which is what I wanted.
[SPEAKER_01]: But it's like white ish, but it's like, yeah, it's white. [SPEAKER_00]: We're not talking like pink. [SPEAKER_00]: Where did you see Rich Martinez dress? [SPEAKER_00]: I like her wedding dress. [SPEAKER_00]: It's all like that. [SPEAKER_00]: It's not like pink. [SPEAKER_00]: It's not like like when you look at it.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, I'm wearing a white dress. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, but it is it is off white, but it's off white. [SPEAKER_01]: It's in the white family. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's creamy. [SPEAKER_01]: Who's wedding dress on Gomark rolls is the most similar to your dress? [SPEAKER_01]: None of them none of them.
[SPEAKER_01]: Actually not the answer to that, but someone did ask that. [SPEAKER_01]: None of them. [SPEAKER_00]: I have seen it. [SPEAKER_00]: There was a first dress. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, even that first dress I don't think is Looks like anybody's dress. [SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't look like anyone. [SPEAKER_01]: No.
[SPEAKER_01]: No, none of them. [SPEAKER_01]: because I'm like, it's basically Lane Sukey on our lower lie. [SPEAKER_00]: And like at first, maybe I was going to say lower lies June 3rd, what would have been dress or Monique Louie dress? [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but no, not at all. [SPEAKER_01]: No, I think it's just because that one didn't have straps.
[SPEAKER_00]: Right, that's really the only qualification. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, our bus D Justin asked if you were going to decorate your [SPEAKER_01]: Wedding cake in your dress. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, no. [SPEAKER_00]: No, no, I'm not. [SPEAKER_01]: Thankfully. [SPEAKER_01]: We should we should all be thankful for such But going back to colors a lot of people asked what your wedding colors are so I'll actually show you guys up [SPEAKER_00]: an up close of my ring, but Bret and I said that we wanted our wedding colors to align with the colors of my ring, which are gold, green, and the diamond, of course, is a diamond.
[SPEAKER_00]: So we were thinking more like creams, gorgeous, beautiful, love. [SPEAKER_00]: So that's kind of like, it was like creams with pops of gold and greens. [SPEAKER_00]: Bret's suit is green, so that's really exciting. [SPEAKER_00]: Did I show you picture of that? [SPEAKER_01]: No, it looks so handsome.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I hope so. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I wouldn't want them to look ugly on that day. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I wouldn't. [SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, so that was kind of the the foundation for our colors was the ring. [SPEAKER_00]: I love that. [SPEAKER_01]: I like having it like centered around something that like that that feels really personal to.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, the both of you because it'll be life forever forever and ever. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to go on vacation. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but that's really I feel like that's really all for colors like I feel a lot of people asked about colors, but it's just cream. [SPEAKER_00]: It's vanilla.
[SPEAKER_00]: Well, yeah, it's a vanilla year. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we wanted to keep it I don't want to say simple, but we just wanted to keep it palatable and one of the reasons I'm having a vanilla year is because I think that like vanilla is the foundation for a lot of flavors and I feel the same way about the color, you know, a cream a nice nice.
[SPEAKER_00]: Creamy vanilla color is like so it's so easy to build off of and also [SPEAKER_00]: And the space that we're getting married in will actually the ceremony space we are there's purple with steoria hanging from the stumbling beautiful like this cover like with steoria covered ceremony space and so there's already purple in there and I do feel like that's like a little Gilmore girlsy because don't have a story on their house on their front porch, she's right yeah so for the ceremony.
[SPEAKER_00]: that purple color will be in there, but I think that green does accommodate purple very well. [SPEAKER_00]: I guess my 2012 heart is getting a little bit of purple. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh my gosh, she's fulfilled. [SPEAKER_00]: Should I wear purple dress? [SPEAKER_00]: Plum. [SPEAKER_00]: But then when we go downstairs for the reception, the seller, where we're having our reception, is very like, like, speedy, easy kind of like, art, deco, old New York kind of vibes.
[SPEAKER_00]: And so because there's a darkness there, I wanted to brighten it up. [SPEAKER_00]: And so I want to use like the creams and those linens to really do so, because I think that we're going to need to brighten up the space bit. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so that's also why I think it kind of be like that.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's going to be classic, which I feel. [SPEAKER_00]: It's just classic. [SPEAKER_00]: Absolutely. [SPEAKER_00]: Very old New York, very classic, very like elevated. [SPEAKER_00]: I kind of can't. [SPEAKER_00]: I can't remember what we said the attire was going to be. [SPEAKER_00]: It's like elevated old New York black tie option or something.
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, okay, it's it's very much that. [SPEAKER_00]: But as far as like bridesmaids dresses, because I think people asked, well, someone I will, I will say, Kelly asked, is Haley a bridesmaid? [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, Hayley's a bride's name. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, Hayley's a bride's name. [SPEAKER_00]: I have technically three bride's names for in my wedding party.
[SPEAKER_00]: My best friend Doritos. [SPEAKER_01]: Miranda's question, which was your wedding exercise? [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, perfect. [SPEAKER_00]: So, technically I have four and Brett has four plus his sister Scarlet is five. [SPEAKER_00]: So, my best friend Doritos, I've talked about many, many times before he is officially her wedding, literally literal angel.
[SPEAKER_00]: And then you, my best friend Liz, who I have been friends with since I was in the sixth grade, we've like group going to middle school high school college together, she's also our admin assistant and my best friend Danielle who I like has been like. [SPEAKER_00]: She and G were like my New York best friends are my New York best friends Danielle doesn't live here anymore, but yeah So it's gonna be the three of you guys plus Dorado who's a fashaining, but like I consider him to be a part of my wedding party It's small we're keeping it very very intimate and It was kind of perfect because I knew the Brett had like four close best friends that he also wanted to include but then Scarlet his sister They're
[SPEAKER_00]: very very close and so she's also in his wedding party and yeah just worked out really perfectly. [SPEAKER_00]: But I'm trying to figure out what you guys are going to wear. [SPEAKER_00]: I want you guys to be able to wear whatever you want. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't think we're going to do matchy matchy.
[SPEAKER_00]: That's like got the place. [SPEAKER_00]: She asked, will Hayley's bridesmaid dress have a hoop skirt? [SPEAKER_00]: Make me out and we can arrange that. [SPEAKER_01]: I would prefer it didn't. [SPEAKER_01]: I feel like I couldn't make it down the aisle. [SPEAKER_00]: I love that you've turned it to a newscaster.
[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like I could not make it down the aisle. [SPEAKER_00]: And this has been purred happily. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think we have to put our heads together and come up with nice fun accommodating affordable situation for you guys that's not going to break the bang I can't tell you how many bridesmaids dress this I've spent so much money on and they sit in a closet or get donated or whatever.
[SPEAKER_00]: No one's going to help them with my tea. [SPEAKER_00]: They're wearing them again. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, I do. [SPEAKER_00]: Namelessly. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, Haley asked [SPEAKER_01]: May you? [SPEAKER_01]: What will I wear? [SPEAKER_01]: So I'm that really. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, exactly. [SPEAKER_01]: Answer that question.
[SPEAKER_01]: So figuring it out, TVD. [SPEAKER_01]: I look good in a lot of colors, but I also look bad in a lot of colors. [SPEAKER_01]: I look at in my, I feel like Kelly from the office. [SPEAKER_01]: It was an emergency. [SPEAKER_01]: The emergency is I look at in my ear. [SPEAKER_00]: You sure have been white on my wedding night, because everybody's gonna be like, who is who?
[SPEAKER_00]: Who is who is who the bride is? [SPEAKER_01]: Well, you know. [SPEAKER_01]: We would figure it out. [SPEAKER_01]: I think yeah, we'll figure it out mostly because they're like who is that girl? [SPEAKER_01]: We don't know Megan asked what are you most excited for about being married? [SPEAKER_00]: You know, it's so funny because like, I don't think much is going to change.
[SPEAKER_00]: Um, Bret and I live together, we have a life together. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: I just think there's something really special about like solidifying that you will have, you have this partner and that they're in it with you, hopefully for life. [SPEAKER_00]: And I think that just like making future plans together.
[SPEAKER_00]: you know, saving up for a permanent residence and, you know, all of the things that come along with having a life partner, I know it's super general and vague, but like that's what I decided to just kind of get started on. [SPEAKER_01]: No, I don't think that's too vague. [SPEAKER_00]: But I just think like it's just so funny because I'm like well, I'm just excited for you know the next day That'll be fun You know because like when you know I do think that marriage used to symbolize like you're moving in together and like all of these milestones that you know in modern times We're now kind of taking those steps before we decide whether or not we want to marry somebody and so yeah
[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just excited to do life with Brett. [SPEAKER_00]: We talk about all the time. [SPEAKER_00]: We're like, we need to do life together. [SPEAKER_00]: And not that that's uncertain now, but there's just a certainty and like a permanence that exists when you repent to paper and, you know, in front of the government or like, yeah, yeah, it's a government, you know, kind of an ordained minister, if you will.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Two ordained ministers, you went into our argument. [SPEAKER_01]: I know. [SPEAKER_01]: I understand you. [SPEAKER_01]: I know I'm the understudy. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm excited. [SPEAKER_01]: I hope nothing happens to him because I don't want to have any obligations. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, I hope nothing happens to him.
[SPEAKER_00]: But yes. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: That is true. [SPEAKER_01]: My friend. [SPEAKER_01]: I hope nothing happens to him. [SPEAKER_01]: But I also don't want to have anything to say. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to be responsible for anything. [SPEAKER_01]: But no, and it just feels different, you know, you're just in a new phase of your life.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like so many new paths to explore. [SPEAKER_01]: Like you said kids, where you'll end up permanent resonance all of that. [SPEAKER_01]: And I think it'll be fun. [SPEAKER_01]: So I had two more questions for you. [SPEAKER_01]: Actually, I have three. [SPEAKER_01]: Everyone asked what Gilmore girls nods will you have and will there be yummy bartenders?
[SPEAKER_00]: hilarious about the yummy bartenders because Brett makes that reference all the time. [SPEAKER_00]: He's like yummy bartenders, but not to yummy. [SPEAKER_00]: Not to get when we watched that episode. [SPEAKER_00]: He was like, oh, we got to have yummy bartenders that are wedding. [SPEAKER_00]: I can't speak to how yummy the bartenders will be, but there will be bartenders.
[SPEAKER_01]: I won't reflect. [SPEAKER_01]: Let me know. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, we'll do a wedding reflection and I will let you know. [SPEAKER_01]: I won't, I won't do a scale. [SPEAKER_01]: I'll do a yummy scale in the scale. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, go to you. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's going to be like in normalized first day at Yale when they rate the delivery guys.
[SPEAKER_00]: We will rate the yummyness with the bartenders. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes. [SPEAKER_01]: So don't you guys worry, I will let you know. [SPEAKER_01]: We will report to you, [SPEAKER_00]: Um, as far as Gilmore girls nods, those are things I'm going to share on Patreon because I have some that I don't know if I want it to be like fully publicly out there to sync it like there's some things that you want to keep a surprise from the people who are attending your wedding and so I'm going to put that on Patreon.
[SPEAKER_00]: Just to kind of keep it a little bit sacred. [SPEAKER_00]: I have two questions left. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, one of them. [SPEAKER_01]: I was quite confused as I was going through this because I was like this question doesn't make any sense and I realized it's a typo. [SPEAKER_01]: It says wedding day donuts and I was like, what?
[SPEAKER_01]: She just said she doesn't want donuts. [SPEAKER_01]: It's wedding day don't. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, you're like, I love a donut and maybe in the morning we eat that donut. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, my most is in donuts in the morning. [SPEAKER_00]: Love that. [SPEAKER_00]: Wedding day don't, like absolutely you will not.
[SPEAKER_01]: Things that I will not do. [SPEAKER_00]: We're not doing a bit of a toss. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, really? [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I almost didn't want that, but do you like the book? [SPEAKER_01]: I don't love that. [SPEAKER_00]: I love you, too. [SPEAKER_00]: I feel like most women don't. [SPEAKER_00]: Because it's just like, it's been the under the premise of, like, who's next?
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, that's just silly. [SPEAKER_01]: It's fine. [SPEAKER_01]: Because, like, what are you telling me? [SPEAKER_01]: This is, like, a prophetic bouquet. [SPEAKER_01]: Could be. [SPEAKER_01]: Like, if you're serious, it's okay. [SPEAKER_00]: You don't want to do it at all. [SPEAKER_01]: I'll do it.
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, like, the people who are like, like, like, like, like, like a survey. [SPEAKER_00]: and be like, who wants to do the bouquet? [SPEAKER_01]: Can I count for two because I do? [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I do. [SPEAKER_00]: I'll do it just for you. [SPEAKER_01]: I was at my, like, my cousin's friends wedding.
[SPEAKER_01]: We went to, when I, I was blonde at the time. [SPEAKER_01]: So it was like, when I was 20 or younger, I caught the bouquet. [SPEAKER_01]: And I always felt like maybe one of the older women was like, I should have caught it because I should be next. [SPEAKER_01]: But I was like, no, this is a competition.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's true. [SPEAKER_01]: Like, I want to catch the bouquet. [SPEAKER_01]: Like, I don't care about who's next. [SPEAKER_01]: I, that's not really, [SPEAKER_01]: Who's next and what? [SPEAKER_01]: Like you know we can change the game. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, we can't change like you're so right who's next to you know Yeah, I literally can't think of any Who's next to call who's the podcast?
[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, okay. [SPEAKER_00]: Wow. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, that's nice. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, you know like I'm my career's at stake But I don't know. [SPEAKER_01]: I always love the kid. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, that is so funny So now we've crossed out one off your don'ts and it's a dog. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, it's another right.
[SPEAKER_00]: What's another don't? [SPEAKER_00]: I don't like the guard We're not doing a guard or toss now [SPEAKER_00]: No, not doing that at all, no one. [SPEAKER_00]: We're not men don't get to have fun like that. [SPEAKER_00]: We're not doing the guard or toss. [SPEAKER_00]: I told Brett, I said you better not slam cake in my face.
[SPEAKER_00]: You better not shove cake. [SPEAKER_00]: No, he would never. [SPEAKER_00]: She said I would never do that to you. [SPEAKER_00]: He would never because. [SPEAKER_01]: And like, it's almost like a test. [SPEAKER_01]: Like, would you do that? [SPEAKER_01]: And if your answer is not a resounding, I would never do that to you when you look that beautiful.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, or when you paint a way that like, you need to get your makeup done. [SPEAKER_00]: Or just because you told me not to, or you asked me not to. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: And like I know that this is not the right setting. [SPEAKER_01]: Like if we're at our house and I like, you know, she have a little cake on your face.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like you don't have to be on your nose or something. [SPEAKER_00]: Five. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't care about that. [SPEAKER_01]: But you're not wiping the highlighter off my nose. [SPEAKER_01]: No, my wedding date. [SPEAKER_01]: No. [SPEAKER_01]: That's every time I see like that happen to a bride.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, oh, either it's me want to spray cake. [SPEAKER_01]: It's shoved in their face or like a champagne bottle sprayed on them. [SPEAKER_01]: I like want to cry for you. [SPEAKER_01]: Like I want to take them aside. [SPEAKER_01]: Give them a big hug [SPEAKER_01]: or honestly help them with an anoman or yeah or like take them to the courthouse you know or to the courthouse yes I'll bring the lawyer to you and also let's get the police involved it's a rest of this man yeah why not let's then back to jia then back to jia [SPEAKER_00]: I'm trying to take myself through our projected day and think there's anything that I'm like we're not doing that.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think matching bridesmaid stresses are kind of like a pass for me. [SPEAKER_00]: But only in the sense that I don't want to force you guys to get something you're never going to wear. [SPEAKER_00]: If that ends up being the same thing and you guys all like the same dress, then great.
[SPEAKER_00]: But like that was something I felt vehemently against. [SPEAKER_01]: I also feel like it's the kind of thing of like everyone has a different preferred shape of dress that they feel the most confident in and like it feels like it's like, oh, one person picked the dress that they felt best in and now everyone has to like suffer yeah and not and it's like not like a it's not their day, but like you want to feel your best regardless of the people in my life to feel their best.
[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, especially like some of my closest closest people. [SPEAKER_00]: Why would I want them to feel anything less than that? [SPEAKER_01]: I know. [SPEAKER_01]: And it's like, we're all different sizes, different heights, like trying to put us all on the same dress. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, just not, it's not the sister head of the traveling pants.
[SPEAKER_00]: You know, so that was always a pass for us. [SPEAKER_00]: At first, Brett didn't want to share our vows in front of everybody. [SPEAKER_00]: He wanted to do that privately. [SPEAKER_01]: That was a question from Kelly. [SPEAKER_01]: Kelly asked, are you writing her own vows? [SPEAKER_01]: And will they include this on you?
[SPEAKER_01]: It was on you. [SPEAKER_01]: And that way, Emily says they've mentioned Luzania in their house. [SPEAKER_00]: Why did she say that? [SPEAKER_01]: They're going to make Luzania for each other. [SPEAKER_01]: Doesn't Emily say, or like, it's like, people are just writing whatever into their vows these days.
[SPEAKER_01]: She goes to someone's wedding. [SPEAKER_01]: It's like a friend of a friend who they mentioned Luzania in their vows. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm making that out, but no, I don't think so, but I don't remember. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't think, Lasagna's gonna be in there, um, TBD though, because I don't know what Brett's gonna say.
[SPEAKER_00]: Sessely Pendulum's daughter actually promised to cook her husband, Lasagna once a month. [SPEAKER_01]: Who wants to hear the word, Lasagna at a wedding area? [SPEAKER_00]: What is that? [SPEAKER_01]: I believe that it's in season 7. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, okay, that's why I don't remember it, because...
[SPEAKER_01]: there. [SPEAKER_01]: That's why I don't know. [SPEAKER_00]: I was like, that has to be there. [SPEAKER_00]: We are writing our own vows. [SPEAKER_00]: Brett asks me at least once a week have you started writing your vows? [SPEAKER_01]: And he wrote hers the night more. [SPEAKER_01]: No, seriously.
[SPEAKER_01]: While we really have started, I know kind of how I want to deliver them, but we'll see. [SPEAKER_00]: But yes, we are writing our own. [SPEAKER_00]: The initial thought from Brett, his heart know, was that he didn't want, he wanted us to do them privately. [SPEAKER_00]: And I told him, that's what I said.
[SPEAKER_00]: I said, look, we're only inviting a small amount of people, like not super small. [SPEAKER_00]: I said, I will respect whatever you want to do. [SPEAKER_00]: If you want to do it privately, that's totally fine. [SPEAKER_00]: I said, but the weddings that I've been to, one of my favorite parts of the sustaining to people talk about how much they love each other.
[SPEAKER_00]: Like, that's the whole point. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: I was like, I'm not what I'm here for. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, sorry. [SPEAKER_00]: That and the cake. [SPEAKER_00]: And he was like, yeah, you know, if you want to do it privately, it can be me, you and Brian. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of them now. [SPEAKER_00]: So initially it was just going to be the, do you take this band, do you take this woman, you know, yay, and then we were going to go through the, you know, like, I took him a long time. [SPEAKER_00]: I did. [SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, so that was initially a, a don't a pass for Brett.
[SPEAKER_00]: I already mentioned that he was very adamant about not having people he's never met at the wedding. [SPEAKER_00]: That was a don't for him. [SPEAKER_00]: But that is just by nature of like having not met people who live out of town. [SPEAKER_00]: That is that are very important to me. [SPEAKER_00]: That's just, you know, not going to be the case.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, as far as don't go nothing too crazy. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it seems actually like most of the don't started out as don'ts, and they turned into dudes. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Like the chicken dance. [SPEAKER_01]: Chicken dance. [SPEAKER_00]: I think that, yeah, Haley decided that she wants that to be her special request.
[SPEAKER_00]: Um, but no, I also know I only at one because that's not it. [SPEAKER_01]: All right. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, we're gonna have to prioritize. [SPEAKER_00]: But I think that when it comes to things outside of the wedding, I was very adamant that I wanted to have like the bridal shower and the bachelor at party be in the same weekend so that no one feels like they're traveling twice for anything.
[SPEAKER_00]: You and Danielle specifically because you're coming in from out of town. [SPEAKER_00]: One of that to feel very cohesive and not cumbersome and manageable. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but yeah, other than that, pretty easy going straight forward. [SPEAKER_01]: last question is from Roy Gilmore.
[SPEAKER_01]: And I, if you have candid pictures, actually. [SPEAKER_00]: Thank you for bringing that up because I will tell you about another don't that is on Brett the old's last. [SPEAKER_00]: He does not want to post, he does not want to post for pictures with the different arrangements of family.
[SPEAKER_00]: He wants like candidates only with family. [SPEAKER_00]: My mom that was like something that she really really was her mom's her mom's her mom's her mom's like we will have a photo of us with you guys. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I was like, yeah, shit, poor things. [SPEAKER_00]: She was my frowning, but we will have you know, I just I could see I could feel like I could hear the panic in her voice because she loves pictures and she loves having that stuff.
[SPEAKER_00]: And she didn't have that at my brother's wedding, which was earlier this year because it was more of like a sit-down dinner kind of celebration of you know. [SPEAKER_00]: after the fact and she really was she had gotten that. [SPEAKER_00]: Whereas, you know, for us, I told Brett and he was like, yeah, of course, he said, I just don't want to go through because my family is big.
[SPEAKER_00]: My aunt's my cousins is that's where he's like, I didn't want to go through the whole, you know, these different kinds of arrangements of different people. [SPEAKER_01]: No, you'll get like core fans. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, core fan, for sure. [SPEAKER_00]: But I think it's side of the family.
[SPEAKER_00]: They're not very like standard pose for pictures people. [SPEAKER_00]: They'll do more candidates. [SPEAKER_00]: So yes, candidates for sure. [SPEAKER_01]: Actually, it reminds me of Paris wanting a candid photo. [SPEAKER_01]: We want those. [SPEAKER_01]: No, no, no, a candid photo on the newspaper.
[SPEAKER_00]: Right. [SPEAKER_00]: It's a team picture, yeah, for sure. [SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, so that is something that was a stipulation for Brett, that he was really, we are going to take pictures between the ceremony and the cocktail hour ending, like dinner starting with our amazing photographer.
[SPEAKER_01]: Did I think of that? [SPEAKER_01]: You were going to have a magician? [SPEAKER_01]: Yes. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay. [SPEAKER_01]: And that's our show. [SPEAKER_00]: Why did I get this? [SPEAKER_00]: I must have been a dream. [SPEAKER_00]: Because I had it back to me now. [SPEAKER_00]: But I think it was a dream.
[SPEAKER_01]: I thought you were going to... [SPEAKER_01]: I thought you wouldn't have a magician at your cocktail hour while you got... Y'all were taking photos and then there was going to be a magician for the people, the attendees, the guests of the wedding to be entertained. [SPEAKER_00]: No, I don't know why there's like a vague memory of us making a joke about that, but I don't think maybe, but like, or serious.
[SPEAKER_01]: I think that would be so fun. [SPEAKER_01]: Alright. [SPEAKER_01]: If you're, if you're still taking ideas, you guys vote. [SPEAKER_01]: Let us know if we should do the magician. [SPEAKER_01]: If enough people say yes to the magician, you have to get a magician. [SPEAKER_01]: Wow. [SPEAKER_01]: All right.
[SPEAKER_01]: If any of you are magicians, but like real magicians, because if you're, if you're tricks aren't very good, you're not going to want it on magic. [SPEAKER_01]: Only if you can do real magic. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know why it was like, oh, and like you guys take photos and then we get to like, hang out with the magician.
[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_01]: I actually got one that came from maybe that's just hope from maybe that's just one of my secret dream. [SPEAKER_01]: He'd be I don't know if I was like you know we're gonna have a jazz trio in the corner when you guys are at cocktail There is nothing better than having a little bit of a little jazz trio in a magician [SPEAKER_01]: that's actually my dream dinner that's actually a dream I want and I'd like to see that for myself so um when Brad gets home bring up the magician if you need me there let me know I know but like I was like convinced I was like oh right magic hour golden hour magic hour oh my god you guys take photos like shouldn't we be entertained
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you're right. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm sorry. [SPEAKER_00]: You're totally right. [SPEAKER_01]: Think about the people at your wedding. [SPEAKER_01]: Don't make it all about you. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you're totally right. [SPEAKER_00]: We started it Oh, anyway, that really gave me a chuckle.
[SPEAKER_00]: That was really really funny But no magician. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry really sorry to die like if that's a hard no that's a wedding don't, but Let's see there's plenty of time [SPEAKER_01]: I think that Nancy, if you're out there, I actually think it would be so much fun. [SPEAKER_01]: All right, I'll have her take a look at the consideration.
[SPEAKER_01]: She's on the other end of this episode, going, she's like, we did if we bring up the magician. [SPEAKER_01]: Or alternatively, she's like, yes, he leemed magician. [SPEAKER_01]: I think given the space, though, a magician dressed in like a top hat, like traditional magician. [SPEAKER_01]: That's what we'll need.
[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I guess so. [SPEAKER_01]: We'll work. [SPEAKER_01]: We'll work. [SPEAKER_01]: We'll work. [SPEAKER_01]: We'll work. [SPEAKER_01]: Shop the magis. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: But this was so much fun. [SPEAKER_00]: Thanks for taking the time to ask questions and Haley. [SPEAKER_00]: Thank you for taking the time to go through the questions and facility.
[SPEAKER_00]: I'll come a lot of fun. [SPEAKER_01]: I know I love a little intro. [SPEAKER_00]: I know it was really really fun. [SPEAKER_00]: There are obviously like so many other things that we could talk about. [SPEAKER_00]: There are so many other elements that were actually so many other questions.
[SPEAKER_00]: People are interested things, new Orleans things that were incorporating into our day, my attire, what I'm thinking, but we'll come back and talk about more stuff as the wedding gives us her. [SPEAKER_01]: And I imagine you'll be making some some things about your wedding on your own page, so [SPEAKER_01]: Keep up, keep up, keep up, keep up, keep up and stay tuned for the magic, and stay tuned for the magician.
[SPEAKER_00]: We don't know where he'll be, but we'll have more to say on the magicians next time. [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe, I don't know, but no, our next episode is going to be our May Roundup. [SPEAKER_00]: Woo, he's roundup. [SPEAKER_01]: Never mind, let's go on at this time. [SPEAKER_00]: But we're going to talk about, kind of a retrospect on the things we talked about, like the Gilmore girls things we talked about in the last month.
[SPEAKER_00]: Nothing to do with the magician. [SPEAKER_00]: No, maybe. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
