[SPEAKER_01]: 5, 6, 7, 8, sleep over. [SPEAKER_01]: Sleep over. [SPEAKER_01]: We're having a little sleep over. [SPEAKER_01]: She's sleeping over. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, here we go. [SPEAKER_01]: Hi, everybody. [SPEAKER_01]: Welcome back to Gilmore to say with Tara and Haley. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm Tara. [SPEAKER_01]: This is Haley.

[SPEAKER_01]: Hi, Haley. [SPEAKER_01]: Hi, Tara. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm so excited to have a little Gilmore girl sleep over with you today. [SPEAKER_00]: I know. [SPEAKER_00]: I feel like I'm holding my microphone like I'm doing newscast. [SPEAKER_01]: Thank you for joining us. [SPEAKER_00]: Like I'm tonight at eight.

[SPEAKER_00]: Like I'm doing the weather like from the streets. [SPEAKER_01]: Not from the streets at all from my bed. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's true. [SPEAKER_01]: Actually from Haley's bed coming to you live from Haley's bed. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's Tara and Haley. [SPEAKER_01]: We're actually if you're not with us on YouTube.

[SPEAKER_01]: We are together in persons. [SPEAKER_01]: So we're lying. [SPEAKER_01]: We are in my bed. [SPEAKER_01]: We truly are. [SPEAKER_01]: We are truly having a sleepover and we're doing an episode all about Gilmourkel's summer parties today. [SPEAKER_01]: We're having a slumber party. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, like sleepover s. It doesn't always have to be, you know, like matching PJs and popcorn.

[SPEAKER_00]: Sometimes people sleep over and it's a vibe, maybe it's not a vibe we want but we want to talk about it. [SPEAKER_01]: We do. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh my gosh. [SPEAKER_01]: I feel like summer time is really the prime time to have a sleep over with your friends. [SPEAKER_01]: Like when I was in school I would have sleep over sometimes on the weekends but like for the most part you'd have summer parties with your friends.

[SPEAKER_00]: I feel over the summer. [SPEAKER_00]: And did you like a summer party? [SPEAKER_01]: It was hit or miss. [SPEAKER_01]: It would really depend on where it was. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Usually yes. [SPEAKER_00]: Like usually I'd love a summer party. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, there's also something about like being in your own bed that's kind of me.

[SPEAKER_01]: But there's something also exciting about being at someone else's house. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I like them as an adult. [SPEAKER_00]: Like, I will say I like a hotel sleepover or like our sleepover where you go in your room and I sleep in my room and we have like a nice time. [SPEAKER_00]: But as a kid, I always wanted to go home.

[SPEAKER_00]: You did? [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Like, I don't think I ever, I only think a couple times I might have called my mom and been like, I'm, come get me. [SPEAKER_00]: But I never enjoyed them. [SPEAKER_00]: Really yeah, I like I never liked sleeping in a weird bed or I had to sleep on the floor There were sleeping bags.

[SPEAKER_00]: We slept in the living room or on a couch and that wasn't fun to me I wanted to go back home or my mom was I got it and play with like my friends at home my siblings [SPEAKER_01]: my friends at home. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, my siblings. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: So I was a little anxious girl and so I never really loved this leap of air.

[SPEAKER_00]: But I think that's why maybe I like to get more leap of air because it's always with her mom. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, usually it's with her mom. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but the most always. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, or she gets her own room or her own bed. [SPEAKER_00]: And she didn't always get her own bed.

[SPEAKER_00]: There's a couple, there's a couple where she, there was some sharing. [SPEAKER_01]: I know we have a lot to talk about today because there are a lot of [SPEAKER_01]: like intentional sleepovers, unintentional sleepovers, the price sleepovers. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and episodes feel like big slumber party vibes and over the top out of control slumber party.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but before we get into it, if you're with us on YouTube, you may have noticed speaking of wearing matching pajamas, hailing air wearing matching teas because we just released our set-off collection. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and this is our thank you and good night tea. [SPEAKER_01]: As a little homage to the marvelous Mrs. Mazeal and a marvelous time we're having over.

[SPEAKER_00]: on Patreon. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, release and black and I'm in pink. [SPEAKER_00]: I feel like I'm the end credits. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's really what the inspiration was. [SPEAKER_01]: Like the end credits at the end of a movie. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like the end. [SPEAKER_01]: So it's like, I feel like I'm the end credits and your [SPEAKER_00]: And it feels appropriate because we do say today because this is coming to you live from a Tuesday after noon morning whenever you're listening to this maybe not a Tuesday But it is night for us It's like choose some of party vibes.

[SPEAKER_00]: You can see it on my clock over here. [SPEAKER_00]: It is after 9 p.m. [SPEAKER_00]: It is you know, this is a real summer party Mm-hmm. [SPEAKER_00]: This episode and I feel like thank you and good night. [SPEAKER_01]: Thank you for being here and we hope that you have a good night Yeah, whenever to say to Haley when I go to bed tonight [SPEAKER_00]: Thank you, and goodnight.

[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you, and goodnight. [SPEAKER_00]: Thank you. [SPEAKER_00]: Thank you so much. [SPEAKER_01]: Thank you, and more often. [SPEAKER_01]: Thank you, and goodnight. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, we're at it. [SPEAKER_01]: No, we're at it. [SPEAKER_01]: No, we're at everything. [SPEAKER_01]: We should thank you more cobbledids.

[SPEAKER_01]: hilarious. [SPEAKER_01]: So if you want to shop these shirts, you can go to www.gillmoretosay.com, and you can get yourself a [SPEAKER_01]: We want to treat our colors to have, yeah, the end credits, a little reverse and then some mid pink. [SPEAKER_01]: Love. [SPEAKER_01]: Love, love, love, love.

[SPEAKER_01]: And you could just wear this as a sleep shirt and you too could tell your family, you need to say this to me more often. [SPEAKER_00]: You need to say this to me more often. [SPEAKER_00]: Thank you. [SPEAKER_00]: Thank you. [SPEAKER_00]: And good night. [SPEAKER_00]: Thank you. [SPEAKER_01]: Thank you, and good night.

[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you. [SPEAKER_00]: Thank you, and good night. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Thanks for being here. [SPEAKER_00]: Thanks for playing. [SPEAKER_00]: Thank you, and good night. [SPEAKER_00]: Thanks for playing. [SPEAKER_01]: But let's get on a business. [SPEAKER_01]: I feel like I'm starting to move on.

[SPEAKER_01]: Let's get down. [SPEAKER_00]: We were just talking about the fact that the live action move on didn't have any of the song. [SPEAKER_01]: And mainly I'm not about that and reflection. [SPEAKER_01]: Those are the two that I'm like, come on. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh my gosh. [SPEAKER_00]: No.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Man. [SPEAKER_00]: It must be. [SPEAKER_00]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_00]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_00]: That's what I'm saying. [SPEAKER_00]: What are there other songs of the moon? [SPEAKER_00]: That's actually not what we're here to talk about all but isn't that a summer party conversation?

[SPEAKER_00]: It is. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: It's not the one we're having today. [SPEAKER_00]: We're talking about Gilmore Girls. [SPEAKER_00]: It's true. [SPEAKER_00]: We'll stop talking about Mulan. [SPEAKER_00]: We promise. [SPEAKER_01]: We promise. [SPEAKER_01]: So tonight, we are going to build a Gilmore Girls Summer Party playlist, like an episode playlist.

[SPEAKER_01]: We've talked about it before that we wish that what was Netflix, but it's still Netflix, but it doesn't have humor. [SPEAKER_01]: I went on Netflix today when I was wanting to look at some of these episodes and I was like, oh, okay, oh, jump scare. [SPEAKER_00]: You know, any time I got on Prime to watch Meazle, it's like, watch Gilmore girls and I haven't played it on there yet.

[SPEAKER_01]: This was the first time I did. [SPEAKER_01]: And they were like, do it. [SPEAKER_01]: Watch it, please. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I was like, it's a trending, I said, of course. [SPEAKER_00]: Of course, you don't even know me. [SPEAKER_01]: But anyway, we've always talked about how we wish that whatever streaming platform it's on had like playlists where you could build just just a nice little roster of themed episodes and today we want that to be Yeah, we've done it for fall in the past, but I feel like slumber party.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I know underrated topic [SPEAKER_00]: underrated topic but shockingly a lot of them on Gilmore a lot of them and I don't think any of them are a stretch because I was like starting to look at the list and be like are any of these are we like you know is this actually a sleepover and I think all of them are it is and here's the thing is we could go through so many episodes that feature [SPEAKER_01]: like someone sleeping at a friend's house, or someone else's house, or being where they're not necessarily, they're always out of their normal bed, correct.

[SPEAKER_01]: But we wanted to build a list of episodes that feel like a Gilmore girl sleep over vibe. [SPEAKER_01]: So let's dive in. [SPEAKER_01]: Let's start with season one because there's only one. [SPEAKER_00]: There's only one. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and we said 11 more and snow because it is kind of like everybody's having a sleepover.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's very unexpected and I think my favorite sleepover. [SPEAKER_00]: And of course, it's accidental and some of those are the best ones when you were little when you're like just having a great time. [SPEAKER_00]: Their mom calls your mom like they're having a great time. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, she's sleepover and you're like, [SPEAKER_00]: Yes.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yes. [SPEAKER_01]: And that's what it feels like where you get stuck at the Gilmore. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, she gets no den and she makes them frozen pizza. [SPEAKER_01]: That's the thing is that I was like there have to be certain elements to it that feel comfy cozy and feel like you're having a slumber party and little frozen pizza is one of those.

[SPEAKER_00]: Frozen pizza and photo [SPEAKER_00]: albums is what I wrote down. [SPEAKER_00]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_01]: Going through photo albums. [SPEAKER_00]: I was like, oh, yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: That's just like a cute moment between them because it's not like in PSI, where she runs away. [SPEAKER_00]: Then it was not PSI love.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: She runs away. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, oh, sorry. [SPEAKER_00]: I was thinking that was a finale. [SPEAKER_00]: In PSI love, she runs away. [SPEAKER_00]: And that's not so much a sleepover because she, if he was angry, feels like she ran away from home. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't really feel like that's the same.

[SPEAKER_00]: We're like, she ended up here because of the weather and she got snowed in and she made them frozen pizza and she grated Parmesan on it. [SPEAKER_00]: And they're bonding. [SPEAKER_00]: That's really bonding. [SPEAKER_00]: They're bonding. [SPEAKER_01]: And she both are all about bonding.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we see Emily, like with her wedding, like she's showing her the pictures. [SPEAKER_00]: We see the Debbie taught picture. [SPEAKER_00]: I just think that's fun. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: That's like, I feel like that's the epitome of like a super for your grandparents house.

[SPEAKER_01]: Totally. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh my gosh, she's sleeping over your grandparents house. [SPEAKER_01]: Totally counts. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Totally counts. [SPEAKER_01]: I used to go over and they would be like, right now, have a slumber party at grandma and pop up sounds. [SPEAKER_00]: And I was like, oh, five.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, the kids have some properties here all the time. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, and that's, and let's house, come on. [SPEAKER_00]: Kids out, best plays out of the slumber party. [SPEAKER_00]: Best plays out of the slumber party. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, meanwhile, meanwhile, realize house. [SPEAKER_01]: Lane is there waiting for Rory because she just touched a boy's hair.

[SPEAKER_01]: That is a touch of boys hair. [SPEAKER_01]: And then Max Medina. [SPEAKER_01]: also wants to have himself a little slumber party. [SPEAKER_00]: It's a different kind of summer party that they are easy for money, but nonetheless he does slumber. [SPEAKER_01]: He does slumber there. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know about the party part, but and there's not necessarily over. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, lean steas and worries, bedroom, more likely, sleep subseries and last days on the couch. [SPEAKER_01]: What a trio. [SPEAKER_00]: A trio. [SPEAKER_00]: I can't believe they didn't play light as a feather so far.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh no. [SPEAKER_01]: Talk about a party. [SPEAKER_00]: They lifting maximum [SPEAKER_00]: talk about a misoperative, a man of an excellent. [SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, I think it's just also those unexpected sleepovers when you're just like, oh, when we got like kind of snowed in and this person ended up staying on the couch, it's just like, yeah, different about where he stands for her routine, have a bean bag sleepover on accident, bean bag sleepover, I don't know if that's [SPEAKER_00]: That's not the one so it's a wrap.

[SPEAKER_00]: I know it's mom called about that. [SPEAKER_01]: Not certainly not certainly not. [SPEAKER_01]: So that's all we have for season one. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Season two is like sleep over central. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, they said the party city, the S and season two. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's true, so let's kick it off with like mother like daughter.

[SPEAKER_01]: I know it's not a sleep over episode But it gives major slumber party vibes because the puffs come in and they take worry to children and She's wearing her pajamas with the cakes on and we're like suggests it. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, because she tells her that she's gonna be Yeah, yeah Leave me some style They're going to take you coming up late.

[SPEAKER_00]: We don't know. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm so many comments everywhere. [SPEAKER_00]: He's everywhere for us [SPEAKER_00]: but she warns her to put through her cute cake pajamas on to put on some lip gloss which really backfires for who for Paris when they do come to kidnap her because she's got her little spot treatment on her hair is kind of crazy and she's like that's what she looked like when you're just woken up nothing in my life is fair yeah for Paris [SPEAKER_00]: And I feel like doing something that like, what did you say earlier that feels kind of nauty?

[SPEAKER_00]: That feels maybe like a little like you don't feel like a little nauty Maybe you shouldn't be doing it. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but it's kind of innocuous in this case I do feel like it wasn't a big deal like come on. [SPEAKER_00]: They're ringing the bell They're not doing anything in your office.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I just want to ring them They just want to ring that bell your parents have to be called like I don't know that just gives major slumber party Well, and talk more about the puffs in the fall [SPEAKER_00]: Are we talking about the gay? [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we are. [SPEAKER_00]: I was like, right.

[SPEAKER_00]: For some reason when you said fall, it was like, oh, like a year in the life fall. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't remember that. [SPEAKER_00]: No. [SPEAKER_00]: Good this fall. [SPEAKER_00]: Autumn. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm fall. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm going more to say fall. [SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, I just thought it was, I thought I, I think it gives me a sleep over right.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: I do feel like sometimes I've personally never been a part of one. [SPEAKER_00]: There have been sleepovers that have been broken up and parents had to be called, you know, totally. [SPEAKER_00]: Have you been a part of one? [SPEAKER_00]: I know. [SPEAKER_00]: Thanks so.

[SPEAKER_00]: I just feel like you would. [SPEAKER_01]: Thank you. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_01]: Thank you. [SPEAKER_01]: And good night. [SPEAKER_01]: Good night. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know how I, I don't know how I take that. [SPEAKER_01]: Um, no, I just feel like you're just kidding. [SPEAKER_00]: You had a, you, you got in trouble more than I did.

[SPEAKER_00]: I did that's so true. [SPEAKER_01]: I just remember like prom night, my mom, nothing got broken up, but my mom had to come pick me up in the middle of the night because she was like, I don't want you saying the night. [SPEAKER_01]: That was already plain. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, okay. [SPEAKER_01]: But it was like I had to get picked up in the middle of the night.

[SPEAKER_01]: Everybody else could stay over because it was like a boy girl. [SPEAKER_00]: See the boy. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, big deal. [SPEAKER_00]: Bye. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, she was like, was the lane lower like max a boy grossy boy? [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean there were boys at girls there.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Boy and girls. [SPEAKER_00]: That's true. [SPEAKER_00]: You're so man and girls. [SPEAKER_00]: Man and woman and girl. [SPEAKER_00]: All right. [SPEAKER_00]: I think we'll see what happens. [SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, I think that like mother like daughter gives sleep over vibes for sure.

[SPEAKER_01]: Are there elements of that that you would want to have in your sleep over? [SPEAKER_01]: Great question. [SPEAKER_01]: Um, I do want to look really, really cute. [SPEAKER_00]: Like, yeah, like some cutie pyjons. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to look like periscolor. [SPEAKER_00]: No. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to be caught off guard.

[SPEAKER_01]: And that's the thing is that with a sleepover, you can plan what you're going to wear. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Like, I want to look cute. [SPEAKER_01]: Or just like, I don't know. [SPEAKER_01]: You get to at least like have some notice. [SPEAKER_01]: You know who you're going to be around.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: You're sleeping next to. [SPEAKER_00]: You're thinking about what you're putting into your cute little duffel. [SPEAKER_00]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_01]: So what about you? [SPEAKER_00]: I like a little, um, a little activity. [SPEAKER_00]: I love an activity as well.

[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I like to do something not like not like a list it like drugs. [SPEAKER_00]: Like a list it like let's go bring a bell. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, totally. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, bell ringing. [SPEAKER_01]: Bell ringing. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, really good sir. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that really that's that really get me excited.

[SPEAKER_00]: So something like that. [SPEAKER_00]: I think like having like a almost feels like a ritual like something between you. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, like bonds you. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but it's like after your parents go to sleep, you're like, oh, [SPEAKER_01]: Let's play the what was the dating game like the one we've with the phone phone.

[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Or it's like we're going to print calls. [SPEAKER_00]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_00]: And now it's only our six seven. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: And then we're going to put it in our AOL aim. [SPEAKER_00]: Like a way message. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_00]: Inside joke between. [SPEAKER_01]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_01]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: I wish with the puffs. [SPEAKER_01]: It was more like that. [SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't. [SPEAKER_01]: It was a darker. [SPEAKER_01]: But. [SPEAKER_00]: Only because it was night. [SPEAKER_00]: That's true, but also just like the like the vibes were darker.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, like this is the most important thing I've ever do in your life. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, Sandra Dale conquered. [SPEAKER_01]: They're blindfolded. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but it's like that's kind of fun. [SPEAKER_00]: You to start to ask at the end and you sitting in the between Paris going near that by heart.

[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, moving on to secrets and loans. [SPEAKER_01]: I, I kind of love this sleep over. [SPEAKER_01]: It's so good. [SPEAKER_01]: So the girl leaves go to Suki's house in the middle of the night because they have termines. [SPEAKER_01]: They can heal your nerves. [SPEAKER_01]: It's eating with the house.

[SPEAKER_01]: I love it. [SPEAKER_01]: Jackson's in the closet and his photo pajamas. [SPEAKER_01]: But I love what Suki says here about what they can do. [SPEAKER_01]: It's not what they end up doing. [SPEAKER_01]: That we know of. [SPEAKER_01]: She's so excited. [SPEAKER_01]: We can rate the fridge, we can make a nice avocado mango face mask, get out the tarot cards, tell fortunes, play twister, make a hawkin-doss chocolate chip, chocolate chip, ice cream milkshake, and we'll watch purple rain.

[SPEAKER_01]: I was like, and they were like, it's midnight sookie. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, let's just skip to the milkshakes. [SPEAKER_01]: And I just love that. [SPEAKER_01]: Like, there's something really fun about unexpected things happening that like kind of force you out of your natural habitat and like termite like termites where just like the circumstances suck.

[SPEAKER_01]: But what we get to do now, kind of fun. [SPEAKER_01]: It's kind of like one we're going to talk about in season three with the fire. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, the post society where it's like you're kind of this kind of forced upon you. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, also kind of make she think about the history of Lorela and suki and worry together.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but there were probably a lot of instances, like, throughout their lives. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we're sukey. [SPEAKER_00]: Like, facilitated something fun, like, made of funders or made ice cream, like milkshakes for them. [SPEAKER_00]: Like, this is something that she has thought about.

[SPEAKER_00]: This isn't like, you know, this, like, all immediately came to her brain because maybe they've done something, like, all of this in the past. [SPEAKER_00]: And I just love thinking about, like, sukey helping Rory with her early slumber parties. [SPEAKER_00]: It just makes me like, [SPEAKER_01]: I know.

[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_01]: It makes no suki more. [SPEAKER_01]: Also just like sets the tone for the comfort and coziness of their lifestyle and the town they live in. [SPEAKER_01]: It reminds me of like in runaway little boy when they get the ice cream maker and yeah suki immediately is like we can make cider ice cream and you can tell that she's done that before and just see idea of suki in the kitchen like making them cider ice cream while they just kind of sit until and [SPEAKER_00]: Like she likes to take care of her girls.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, exactly. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: The only thing about that episode that always confused me is when Sukey scooping the ice cream, she scooped at the counter and then brings it to the table rather than bringing the lender. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that is really counter. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, to be fair.

[SPEAKER_00]: It was just for the show. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it was just for the show. [SPEAKER_00]: But every time I'm like, this is not like, oh, this is dangerous. [SPEAKER_00]: I'll drop that. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you're going to drop totally. [SPEAKER_01]: And as far as what I would want from this, everything, everything, not a single thing.

[SPEAKER_00]: Except for Jackson in the closet. [SPEAKER_01]: No, that's funny. [SPEAKER_01]: That's hilarious. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, so we're having a sleepover, Brett's in the closet. [SPEAKER_00]: And that's where he was intended to stay the whole time. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, hilarious. [SPEAKER_00]: Actually, that is great.

[SPEAKER_00]: Right. [SPEAKER_01]: You'd love that. [SPEAKER_00]: You would love that. [SPEAKER_01]: Next, of course, is the Brace Bridge dinner, the ultimate summer party thing is that like season two is Bob after Bob after Bob and so many of them include summer parties. [SPEAKER_00]: So when they just like get everyone together and maybe that's what's so excellent about it, but this one was sold as a summer party for the whole town.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and over the top out of control, summer party, and it's the whole town coming together, which I love, or at least are faves. [SPEAKER_00]: And [SPEAKER_00]: It's our faiths. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it's the whole town. [SPEAKER_00]: It's definitely not. [SPEAKER_00]: The other set of stars hollow could never, but could never get an invite, but it's definitely the core faiths.

[SPEAKER_00]: And I like that in part, the only way this was going to happen if someone else accidentally funded it. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, like they weren't going to get a refund for it. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: So like someone just like randomly funded the stars hollow sleepover that only happened one time.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I like that part of it. [SPEAKER_00]: I know that's also going to take from it. [SPEAKER_01]: There's also something so fun about like I almost feel like the town of stars hollow sometimes is like your extended family, right? [SPEAKER_01]: And like you and your family, you and like your cousins.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm very close with my cousins. [SPEAKER_01]: So like sometimes like once or twice a year we would take a trip when we were kids where it was just like all of us got together and we would go to this specific place. [SPEAKER_01]: We all get to stay in our hotel rooms and it was really fun.

[SPEAKER_01]: Or we did this with like our family friends over the summer. [SPEAKER_01]: Like we would go to the beach. [SPEAKER_01]: we would all be in like our rooms and there's just something so fun about knowing that you're all staying in one place. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: And that's what this is giving.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'd love it. [SPEAKER_01]: Like all your friends, all your family in one place. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Perfect for the drama. [SPEAKER_00]: Hmm. [SPEAKER_00]: Perfect for some glancing. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, the Glance Bridge, the Glance Foundation to be laid. [SPEAKER_00]: My favorite part of this is that we get like the only sleepover, like almost sleepover with the trio of Gilmore girls.

[SPEAKER_00]: Like when Emily comes into their room, and we get to see Laura lie in Emily in the mirror, putting on their skin care. [SPEAKER_00]: What does it she says, behold, my future? [SPEAKER_00]: You're holding my future, yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: And I love that, because that's the only time that we get them all for their own little sleepover.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: and then Emily bounces. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: It was a very short look to say where I lived, but I do love that. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, me too. [SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, from that one I would probably take, you know, like some skin hair away, someone else funding the evening and a theme.

[SPEAKER_01]: I love a theme and a cute boy to smile at me. [SPEAKER_00]: You know, even like, cute boy to smile at you, but like you also have a boyfriend, also very fair. [SPEAKER_00]: But what's smiling, you know? [SPEAKER_01]: I also really, I'm trying to think if I would take the Horstron's sleigh element with me as well, the horses.

[SPEAKER_00]: No, I just don't jive with the horse. [SPEAKER_01]: All right, thank you for your honesty. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm, I'm Claire a season three when she's afraid of the horses. [SPEAKER_00]: Not Claire a Bracebridge dinner where she wants to go eat with the horses. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_01]: Last one in season two. [SPEAKER_01]: There's the rub. [SPEAKER_01]: There's the rub. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay. [SPEAKER_01]: This one may be my favorite actually. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: It's really, it's hard to pay. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, this is like that one where it's like we're having such a good time.

[SPEAKER_00]: You should sleep over. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: You know, a much of a can cheat. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: You helped me out. [SPEAKER_01]: You should sleep over. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: That one ordering takeout. [SPEAKER_00]: Having to keep boy deliver you takeout when you didn't ask for having the boyfriend come over and we mad that that boy brought you takeout when you didn't ask for it.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's going to bring ice cream. [SPEAKER_01]: I know, but we told him not to. [SPEAKER_01]: That's, oh, girl, trust, but, you know, it's annoying about that situation. [SPEAKER_00]: He doesn't even leave the ice cream. [SPEAKER_00]: I know. [SPEAKER_00]: He takes it home for himself. [SPEAKER_00]: He was sad.

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, you brought that for me. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: That's the part of it. [SPEAKER_00]: I would take out the Dean. [SPEAKER_00]: But like, Jess, Jason Paris. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh. [SPEAKER_00]: Seeing that's another thing. [SPEAKER_00]: Seeing your friends become friends. [SPEAKER_00]: So cool.

[SPEAKER_00]: Because like mixing a, what's [SPEAKER_00]: And like, of course, Jess wasn't sleeping over, but it was like the activity that led to the sleepover. [SPEAKER_00]: Totally. [SPEAKER_00]: I feel like that, like they hit it off so well. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Hey, I've read Jane Austen.

[SPEAKER_01]: Mm-hmm. [SPEAKER_01]: It's just the podcast that I dream about. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, same, same. [SPEAKER_01]: But then when we were in Vite's Paris, like when I think of the sleepover between the two of them, I think of the deleted scene. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's really what I was thinking about.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I was, huh? [SPEAKER_00]: I love a Somosa. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: I would take that part of it too and just like all of the righty of food. [SPEAKER_00]: Like I feel like they take out aspect of it. [SPEAKER_00]: Like it's just like, oh, it's great. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but for me, it's also when Paris kind of calls were out on this feeling for Jess or Jess liking her really.

[SPEAKER_01]: And that's like girl talk. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's half the fun of a sleepover. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so a little bit of honesty Yeah, it is a deleted scene, but like we can in the context of this sleepover conversation We can include it because like we get to see the sleepover in that part of it and it's just yeah It's girl talk.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's kind of leaning into questions that maybe during the day where a little hard to ask Especially when you're not looking at each other [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, you know, this reminds me we do this, but it's also in Mazel when Susie and Mitch are sleeping in the motel together and they're laying in their separate beds both with the covers on talking to each other.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, like that's like, that's elite. [SPEAKER_00]: They're just like laying there watching the TV while they're talking to each other. [SPEAKER_00]: That's awesome. [SPEAKER_00]: I just feel like there's an honesty that can exist in that like kind of quiet that you're not really looking each other.

[SPEAKER_00]: Just talk in totally into the dark. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, the other person answer have they fallen asleep. [SPEAKER_01]: No, not yet. [SPEAKER_01]: Have they fallen asleep is so real though because that's like happened many times or I'm like chatting with you and you are gone and I'm like Tara hello hello that does happen where I will just like she's gone But I will say I'm also sometimes on the other end of that especially with sleepovers Yeah, like when I was a kid I was that kid.

[SPEAKER_00]: You were the one that like wasn't falling asleep You're like hey One more thing and another thing [SPEAKER_00]: And more and more. [SPEAKER_00]: And I didn't you think about this? [SPEAKER_00]: That was me. [SPEAKER_00]: Do you go on a tripers need to see Doros? [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: And you're just like, they're like, what do I do?

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, not the candle, you know, you don't have a phone. [SPEAKER_01]: Or I would be the one who would fall asleep first and I'd wake up at the middle of the night. [SPEAKER_01]: And like, spice girls, spice world was still like the, yeah, that's what playing. [SPEAKER_01]: And I was just like, [SPEAKER_00]: What did they do without me?

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: What I miss. [SPEAKER_01]: But I do feel like the girl talk aspect to this and to take out is 1,000 percent when I would take away from the sleepover. [SPEAKER_01]: And of course, your friend's bonding. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: You being like, oh. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: And like, I keep boy unexpectedly arriving. [SPEAKER_01]: My good dream when I had sleepovers as a kid. [SPEAKER_01]: I know. [SPEAKER_00]: I know. [SPEAKER_00]: My dream actually would be for Jess Mariano to arrive at my house with dinner. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Like, I didn't know I had that dream until that moment.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: It was like, wow, totally. [SPEAKER_00]: And especially finding out later that he was lying about it. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I know. [SPEAKER_00]: And he wanted to bring it to him. [SPEAKER_00]: I love that. [SPEAKER_00]: fun. [SPEAKER_00]: Do we consider the other side of that flip sleepover?

[SPEAKER_00]: The spa trip? [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: It's kind of. [SPEAKER_01]: Kind of. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that's the whole reason why worries left by herself is because her mom is doing an overnight at the spa. [SPEAKER_01]: That's a sleepover. [SPEAKER_01]: See, that's good.

[SPEAKER_00]: Spa night. [SPEAKER_00]: Mm. [SPEAKER_00]: Like, skin care, face masks, the whole thing. [SPEAKER_00]: Love that. [SPEAKER_00]: Love that. [SPEAKER_00]: And like having a fun little dinner. [SPEAKER_00]: getting into a little fight, people separating, coming back together, different kind of vibe, not maybe that part of it, but like, stealing the ropes together, having a little inside joke.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, perfect. [SPEAKER_01]: It's true. [SPEAKER_01]: That is true. [SPEAKER_01]: I didn't think about the other side of that. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, love it, love it. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, moving on to season three. [SPEAKER_01]: I feel like this is kind of an honorable mention, but lazy. [SPEAKER_01]: He's a crazy days of summer.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's a it's like sleep away campus. [SPEAKER_00]: What it feels like smart girl. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, this was like the closest worry got to sleep away camp. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, because that's like actually what I was trying to think about when I was like kind of reviewing if we had missed any of the sleepovers.

[SPEAKER_00]: It was like did she go to camp. [SPEAKER_00]: No, it's where we go more, but I was like, oh, they did go to Washington for their internship when they both got voted to student council students to the government and I just feel like that really gave like summer party vibes, especially like helping her get ready for a day.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh yeah, and that whole thing and like giving her advice and doing her hair like, [SPEAKER_00]: that felt really sleep-overy and then hiding in the closet for Jamie. [SPEAKER_00]: Jamie, to just arrive and then she just like really hunkered downstairs there, but also learning about your friends sleep at it.

[SPEAKER_00]: I was just about to say that. [SPEAKER_00]: Like finding out that they sleep talk, oh my gosh, that happens on May's all. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, a little parallel. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, can not wait to do nasal pronouns. [SPEAKER_00]: You can't wait to do, thank you and good night. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, no, thank you and good night.

[SPEAKER_01]: It's going to be so much fun. [SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, that's what I was going to bring up. [SPEAKER_01]: Is that like, you kind of find out like, does your friends snore? [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I was a sleepwalker for a little bit. [SPEAKER_00]: That would scare me so bad if you sleptwalked.

[SPEAKER_00]: I don't sleepwalked? [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, coast-to-sacced? [SPEAKER_00]: Coast-to-sacced? [SPEAKER_01]: Because sleepwalked is the past tense of sleep. [SPEAKER_00]: but you were walking, you sleep walked, you slept walked, I like slept walked, I don't do not tell me if that's wrong because slept walked is what I want.

[SPEAKER_01]: I like it. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, new word if it's not. [SPEAKER_01]: It goes to sack, goes to sack. [SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, I don't think I ever was a sleep walker at a sleep over. [SPEAKER_00]: Bye. [SPEAKER_01]: It happened actually in my parent's hotel room when I was at like, um, when we were away with my cousins, um, scary family.

[SPEAKER_01]: We would all stay in one room. [SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, my mom woke up and I was talking to myself in a mirror like I was on a talk show. [SPEAKER_01]: That was scary. [SPEAKER_01]: Tell on me. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god, I would have been like I never never again mom. [SPEAKER_00]: This girl's I have to I quit my business Get the priest.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we're doing an exorcism. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, wow crazy, right? [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, one time My dad was out in the living room watching TV. [SPEAKER_01]: It was really late at night. [SPEAKER_01]: It was middle of the night and I came out and I walked around to the couch He was like just watching me [SPEAKER_01]: And I went into our co-closet.

[SPEAKER_00]: Damn, thank you to the hospital. [SPEAKER_01]: I went into our co-closet. [SPEAKER_01]: And he gets out because he was like, what was she doing? [SPEAKER_01]: He opens the door and he was like, what are you doing? [SPEAKER_01]: And I was like, I don't know. [SPEAKER_01]: And he was like, okay, come out of there.

[SPEAKER_01]: And I was like, okay. [SPEAKER_01]: And then I just kind of stood there and he was like, okay. [SPEAKER_01]: He understood what was happening. [SPEAKER_01]: He was like, [SPEAKER_00]: go to bed and I was like okay okay that's so much better though than like the stories that John Stephens who like he was on the podcast last week and he didn't talk about it on the pod because he's talked about it a lot on his Instagram reels like on like the series that he's doing rewatching Gilmore girls but Kirk's night terrors came from his yes and hearing him talk about like the incident where he like jumped from a balcony [SPEAKER_01]: It's also, I mean, like, on a benign level, that night when my dad, when I came out into the living room, I woke up right outside my bedroom.

[SPEAKER_01]: And I had this moment of, like, touched just the bathroom and I kind of forgot how to lit here. [SPEAKER_01]: You're kind of hazy and, like, everything's, you know, bleeding. [SPEAKER_01]: No, I wasn't bleeding. [SPEAKER_01]: But, like, the art of forgetting, like, where you've just come from is a little scary scary scary scary.

[SPEAKER_01]: And so I can't imagine that on a [SPEAKER_00]: No, that's not for me. [SPEAKER_00]: No. [SPEAKER_00]: No. [SPEAKER_00]: Meanwhile, I'm a quiet sleeper. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm a lady like sleeper. [SPEAKER_01]: You are a lady like sleeper. [SPEAKER_01]: Holla, Mitch, maizeal. [SPEAKER_01]: Thank you.

[SPEAKER_00]: You were trained. [SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, back to worry and Paris. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, she is interesting. [SPEAKER_00]: She's like quoting Bill Clinton. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: And I didn't know as a kid what that meant. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, you sexual relations with that woman.

[SPEAKER_00]: But you left. [SPEAKER_00]: I left so hard. [SPEAKER_01]: I was like, that's a really funny. [SPEAKER_01]: Um, and then I realized what it was because she of course is quoting things leading up to that and that's the punch line But yeah, it's really good, and it's um, it's also interesting that like worries kind of keeping this a little secret Mm-hmm.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, if this is going on, she takes a call from her mom overnight. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, and Right and letter to just let she in that person I feel like something to like your friend fell asleep, and now I'm gonna do something over here that I shouldn't do. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah [SPEAKER_01]: feels like sleep of revives, scandal, scandalous, but the other episode in season three is that we referenced earlier is a tale of Pozenfire when the Dragonfly Inn Cat, or I'm sorry, the independent saying catches on fire and it's well, the post society is there and everybody has to evacuate and they have to find places for all of them to sleep.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's kind of the reverse of the Braithbridge dinner. [SPEAKER_00]: Like someone like sponsors this like cutie little night, they can all have it the independence in. [SPEAKER_00]: But now the independence in is on fire. [SPEAKER_00]: And the town of Star's Hollow has to take in all these strangers and have sleep over their their house.

[SPEAKER_00]: What's the name? [SPEAKER_01]: It's out of control over the top slumber part. [SPEAKER_00]: Out of control is really the answer. [SPEAKER_00]: What is the name of that couple who like, they decide to go home? [SPEAKER_00]: And they're like, you made it sound so fun. [SPEAKER_01]: That's the middle of this dance.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: And this middle of this emergency, we just wanted to come stay here. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, that's what I'm talking about when it comes to, oh gosh, what was the one that we're talking about? [SPEAKER_01]: Secrets and loans. [SPEAKER_01]: When something kind of catastrophic happens or something bad happens, something upends your life.

[SPEAKER_01]: And the only joy you can find is in like, oh, we'll never do this thing. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, we're all together and we're going to a... [SPEAKER_01]: different location and so he's going to make us milkshakes and that is the hattlestats that have us that's we're like you made it sound so fun it's like this is him fun this isn't fun my business burned down today um cool great and that was it their son that was staying there or they didn't have a son no no they didn't have a son this was um it was the other the Poe the Poe one of the Poe's you're so right and they [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Fred and his wife and little, little scooter.

[SPEAKER_01]: Is that something like this? [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it was something like that. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: The brother from Freaky Friday was that. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, exactly. [SPEAKER_00]: And then the Hado Stats slept in the noise bed. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: And then she went and had a sleepover at a loose, with Luke and Jess.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I know. [SPEAKER_00]: Talk about a poingro sleepover. [SPEAKER_01]: Talk about finding out about your daughter's boyfriend's sleeping habits. [SPEAKER_01]: Just so you know, your boyfriend's snores. [SPEAKER_01]: She's like, thanks. [SPEAKER_01]: I didn't need to know without that.

[SPEAKER_00]: And I, I just love because that's a chatty one too, but they're like laying in bed, violence secrets. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Almost secrets. [SPEAKER_00]: Love that. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: But I think my favorite part about it is that's like really one of the only royal lanes.

[SPEAKER_00]: I was going to say that that's [SPEAKER_00]: Crazy to me. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we never really get a very lane sleep over, but we kind of get it here. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: We've come in there a little beds in the like downstairs. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: This is Kim.

[SPEAKER_01]: Talk about love. [SPEAKER_01]: But I also love that like I never thought about this before that Mrs. Kim put them downstairs in the living room when Lane has a better upstairs or I guess me that she had people see her. [SPEAKER_00]: She did. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay. [SPEAKER_00]: And like it was in the shop.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, they were sleeping in the antique. [SPEAKER_01]: So they antique? [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I don't think I'd like that. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_00]: It's kind of fun. [SPEAKER_01]: I feel like walking vibes. [SPEAKER_00]: But I just like that they were talking about boys. [SPEAKER_00]: They weren't too vintage.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, just shows up just shows up in the window. [SPEAKER_01]: There's Boba. [SPEAKER_00]: Cricket. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, okay moving on to season four one of like the ultimate sleepover episodes, which is the lower-rise first-day at Yale Yeah, one of the most perfect episodes. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah for this reason.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, absolutely because I love that One of the things we've talked about before is that like there's really no focus on Boys or love or romance. [SPEAKER_01]: It's really just about the girlies. [SPEAKER_00]: Really just the boys are helpful in Luke sentence Or we're just seeing they're just writing them yeah exactly.

[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I think the delivery guy is [SPEAKER_01]: It's one of my favorite parts about this sleepover. [SPEAKER_01]: Laura, of course, comes in. [SPEAKER_01]: Laura doesn't want her to leave just yet. [SPEAKER_01]: And Laura, like, makes it her first night in Yale really fun because she kind of crawls all the girls with pizza.

[SPEAKER_01]: She like, bribes them into a worries dorm room with pizza. [SPEAKER_01]: And they keep ordering, take out to find what the best take out is and who the hottest delivery guy is for her, which is just like so fun. [SPEAKER_00]: And it's fun, because it feels like an activity, too, because they're like mapping it out and trying to, like, [SPEAKER_00]: get all of the cuisines that they can in their rating system because it starts kind of small but then it grows and I like what it does for her like later in that episode that it kind of helps her make friends like breaks the ice but the best part of that episode is when they're just like lollized on the old mattress, worries on the new mattress and they're howling and worries was like a little puppy like that feels like that feels like that's like my ideal sleep

[SPEAKER_00]: Just as girls, yeah, just as girls I love that fun and so I don't know. [SPEAKER_00]: That one also feels like the epitome of the show. [SPEAKER_00]: I agree. [SPEAKER_00]: The two of them. [SPEAKER_00]: Best friends. [SPEAKER_00]: Best friends first. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: It's really cute.

[SPEAKER_01]: I really love the creativity of keeping Laura live there and her making friends for worry on her first day by like creating all of this fun, trying to do like the hairbrush karaoke. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: She's a fun. [SPEAKER_00]: We're just kissing one. [SPEAKER_00]: Come on.

[SPEAKER_00]: Anybody? [SPEAKER_00]: Let's go. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: But it's also, I will say that episode really is like mother, mothering, but like mothering into friendship. [SPEAKER_00]: Like she comes back because she knows that she misses her so much and she spends the night with her because she's her mom.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: But like she's doing it because she's her best friend. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: So they that one. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, love. [SPEAKER_00]: One of my faves. [SPEAKER_00]: If we were making that one would be pretty high. [SPEAKER_00]: I totally agree. [SPEAKER_01]: Um, the next one in season four is girls in bikini's voice here in the twist spring break.

[SPEAKER_01]: What is like, Bover? [SPEAKER_01]: I know. [SPEAKER_00]: Just like a week of a sleepover. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: It's pizza and the power of myth for me. [SPEAKER_00]: I know, but like that feels so accurate to I feel like most of us. [SPEAKER_00]: If we're like going on a trip with our friend, it's like we see everyone out there doing everything, making it.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: But like, no, actually we're going to go back into our room and laying our bed and eats snacks [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but we're just chilling and I'm true. [SPEAKER_00]: I get that and like you try to do what everyone else is doing You go out to the club you go to the bar you try to have fun and you're just like this isn't for me I want to go home And being on the same wave at a sleepover is great, too.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you know what we're gonna stay in [SPEAKER_00]: we're going to try and we tried and it did not go well that's true home when you find your buddy yeah it's like we are just operating on the same plane yeah totally and the same plane mean we went home on a plane we literally went home on a plane because we don't have a home I guess blended because it was a fun part yes mom's name is man [SPEAKER_01]: after he recovered from whatever the hell happened to him.

[SPEAKER_00]: I know that's that's the part of it that I want to cut out. [SPEAKER_00]: That's my sleepover. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't want a man coming up out of the ocean. [SPEAKER_00]: No yelling hot dog hot dog. [SPEAKER_00]: But I do want to be each sleepover. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, beech sleepover is fun.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: This next one I feel is more of an honorable mention. [SPEAKER_01]: I must have. [SPEAKER_01]: You jump by jump jack. [SPEAKER_00]: It is a sleepover, I guess, but I don't think it gives like sleepover vibes. [SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't give slumber party vibes to me. [SPEAKER_01]: I know it's an overnight.

[SPEAKER_00]: It is an overnight different than a summer party. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, because like we didn't include a swansong when Laura like goes to New York and she sees in the hotel with Alex, that's not a sleepover. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean I guess that's a sleepover. [SPEAKER_00]: No, I don't think you jump high jump jack is a slumber party.

[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's a slumber party. [SPEAKER_00]: They're with all their friends. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, here's the thing. [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe this, maybe this. [SPEAKER_00]: Everyone else is having a slumber party. [SPEAKER_00]: Rory isn't all right. [SPEAKER_01]: The life is like a overnight experience.

[SPEAKER_00]: The life of death brigade is having a sleepover. [SPEAKER_00]: They're having a slumber party. [SPEAKER_01]: They're having a giant over the top out of control somber party. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: And brewery is not. [SPEAKER_00]: But it's cute because they gave her her own little bed, little washful, little tent, little thematic.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, that's awesome. [SPEAKER_01]: She's going to go into summer camp. [SPEAKER_00]: I know. [SPEAKER_00]: It really is, hmm. [SPEAKER_01]: All right, you're convincing me a little bit. [SPEAKER_01]: OK, I want to know what you guys think. [SPEAKER_01]: Do you guys think you jump high jump jack has sleep over vibes?

[SPEAKER_00]: The life and death brigade event. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, like, I think that they are having a sleepover, and I think that Rory is not. [SPEAKER_00]: Rory is sleeping there. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: They are sleeping over. [SPEAKER_01]: Sure, sure, sure. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay. [SPEAKER_00]: They're having a summer party.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's like an event. [SPEAKER_00]: It seems like it sets their whole vibe. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Fair. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay. [SPEAKER_00]: It's just for rich people. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm on the fence. [SPEAKER_00]: They're having a rich people sleepover party. [SPEAKER_00]: Sure. [SPEAKER_01]: Rory is, but here's the thing is like Blair Waldorf in gossip girl hosts a rich people sleep [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but no one was going to go back to Logan's apartment and have a sleepover there for the life.

[SPEAKER_01]: But I just mean that it becomes like sleepover vibes. [SPEAKER_00]: They're like glamping, it's really what you think. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's kind of what it is. [SPEAKER_00]: They're glamping. [SPEAKER_00]: That's true. [SPEAKER_01]: Hmm. [SPEAKER_01]: You guys let us out. [SPEAKER_00]: I still say yes.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's only because like imagine waking up at a sleepover and you have a ball gown and a man in a [SPEAKER_00]: I'm just saying, I would like to add that to my sleepover playlist. [SPEAKER_00]: Very, not any done, not just any men. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, it's got to be. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I got to like him.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to be cute. [SPEAKER_01]: But the next one, I actually speaking of cute. [SPEAKER_01]: I completely forgot about this, and you wrote this down, I'm so happy you did. [SPEAKER_01]: But not as cute as Pushkin. [SPEAKER_00]: Pushkin, as Pushkin, can I tell you, I don't know how much of this list you actually do know, because I made this on my own.

[SPEAKER_00]: You did. [SPEAKER_01]: We talked about the first half of this list. [SPEAKER_00]: We talked, no, like there's only like three that I wrote separately. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: And I just was like, at some point, I was like, Malteller. [SPEAKER_00]: It was so funny because we usually don't prep episodes together.

[SPEAKER_00]: We come up with a concept for you. [SPEAKER_01]: We come up with the outline and then we're like, okay, we're going to each prep something. [SPEAKER_01]: And it brings an element of surprise to the episode. [SPEAKER_00]: And then we'll have a surprise. [SPEAKER_00]: Also, like, I will look at different things than you do.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: And I know that you like to watch the scenes beforehand. [SPEAKER_00]: I more so just go off of my sometimes go off my memory. [SPEAKER_01]: It exists now only in my memory. [SPEAKER_00]: I like that, but today I was like we are prepping the same thing at the same time in the same way from the same list and I was like, I was like, do I need to keep some of this in my mind?

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, shock and awe. [SPEAKER_01]: That is so funny. [SPEAKER_00]: But not as cute as Pushkin is my shock and awe today for it. [SPEAKER_01]: What is it was? [SPEAKER_01]: I completely forgot about this because you're so right and a fair child coming to. [SPEAKER_01]: Worries dorm and being like I like random sex whenever you want sleep over She has like four red bulls.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I Whatever you want. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I just think that that's so sleep over vibes for sure I think that Roy was hosting her and Anna was having a sleepover. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it was a summer party for aunt and let's say me that Roy was not having a sleepover and you jump She was not I could sleep over in this one because so funny, but it's also feels like Anna got in trouble [SPEAKER_00]: Anna ran out like it's like that thing of like maybe you're at a sleepover with a couple of girls I'm one of them's like oh my gosh, let's go meet up with boys and you're like actually We had a sleepover because we wanted to stay here and she's like I'm gonna go meet up with boys And so then she leaves and she gets in trouble and you're like well That makes sense, you know, yeah, that kind of feels like Anna

[SPEAKER_00]: like you're so right and then you're like somehow you feel like you're in trouble because she gotten trouble and you didn't stop her. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: This is how hypothetical. [SPEAKER_00]: It's like I'm just making something like this. [SPEAKER_00]: It's giving you a concert interruptus was asleep.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yes exactly. [SPEAKER_00]: Totally. [SPEAKER_00]: That could have been sleep of her vibes. [SPEAKER_00]: It's truly they would have cooperated. [SPEAKER_00]: But [SPEAKER_00]: Fair. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: But that's like Anna like drinking so much red bull eating nothing but ice cream.

[SPEAKER_00]: They're admiring the random sex with Paris is having. [SPEAKER_01]: But here's the thing is it's also and I was this kid at sleepovers like when you go somewhere it's it's like I'm not at my parents house anymore and this parent will give you snacks and yeah you [SPEAKER_01]: can eat at home.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, Marlene brings snacks over. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's exactly. [SPEAKER_01]: And she's just like a kid and a candy store literally. [SPEAKER_01]: Like I used to love having sleepovers, especially my aunt's house because they would eat food that like I couldn't eat. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: Not that I couldn't eat, but that like my mom wouldn't keep in the house. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: They know. [SPEAKER_00]: Or just like that is kind of the best part about going over to or the worst part about going over to. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I know. [SPEAKER_01]: God forbid you go over to like an [SPEAKER_00]: Or it's like, they didn't really consider your allergy before you came over.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry that was probably like, yeah, okay, anything. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: But that was the thing, is my mom, like if we had a sleep over or we had friends over, she was like, okay, what snacks are we gonna get? [SPEAKER_01]: Like, you got to have the good snacks. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like we have the thoughtful mom, for sure. [SPEAKER_01]: No, yeah, my mom was very, very, very, very thinking. [SPEAKER_00]: Where were you with the thoughtful mom here? [SPEAKER_00]: I think she kind of lured light her. [SPEAKER_00]: She got through so much stuff from the elbow.

[SPEAKER_00]: She really cut her. [SPEAKER_00]: She wanted to have a summer party with Anna and Anna wanted to have a wild time. [SPEAKER_00]: They were hosting different summer parties. [SPEAKER_01]: They were, it's true. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's true, you're right. [SPEAKER_00]: But imagine if you're having like a slumber party at your older friends place, and then you go to her class, and the cute boy from the summer party that she went to comes in interrupts the class, like that's fun.

[SPEAKER_00]: No, you're so right. [SPEAKER_00]: We love a prank. [SPEAKER_00]: A prank, if you will. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, there were definitely pranks. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, I love this next one. [SPEAKER_01]: To live in that diorama. [SPEAKER_00]: I actually think this is like the most sleepover one. [SPEAKER_00]: I've said for so many of them.

[SPEAKER_00]: I was like maybe not. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, I just like this one feels like so accidentally, bovor. [SPEAKER_00]: It's definitely an accidental sleepover. [SPEAKER_00]: No, it's only an accident. [SPEAKER_00]: It's a surprise sleepover. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, it's [SPEAKER_01]: It's, we got too drunk and we have to stay over.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think that's maybe some, let me rephrase. [SPEAKER_00]: It's like it feels like the adult version of some of the summer parties that were, and Laura, I had in the past, where it's like this is because Paris was angry and she felt left behind by Doyle. [SPEAKER_00]: And so she shows up and starts hollow and then they drink a ton and she sleeps over and then they have hangover for the next day Yeah, I think it's really the next morning that makes it feel like a sleepover So maybe it's really I'm gonna go but I'm gonna go more That gives it that vibe It's a duo.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's like the extension because Paris was coming to spend the night anyway and then she finds out the Kirk [SPEAKER_00]: was having his sleep over arc in season 5 where he was sleeping at everyone's house. [SPEAKER_00]: Everybody's houses. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: So it was Paris on the floor or liner bed, Roy and her bed.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: But now that I think about it, it's like for building a playlist, do I feel like to live in the Toyorama is a slumber party at business because of the lane, Roy Paris drunken chat. [SPEAKER_00]: Hmm, like even if Lane is not participating in the sleepover, she probably should have.

[SPEAKER_01]: They probably should have dragged her back to the house. [SPEAKER_01]: Fair. [SPEAKER_01]: She has a confrontation with Sophie. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: You're like, for this man. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: We're confronting her over this man. [SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, I feel like that moment feels summer party vibes.

[SPEAKER_01]: Okay. [SPEAKER_00]: So this feels like the college version of some of the more like innocent ones in earlier seasons. [SPEAKER_01]: There. [SPEAKER_01]: That's fair. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, season 6, super cool party people ultimate part of summer party episode ultimate like this is a summer part this is if there has ever been the summer party is this yeah, and I know we didn't get to see the actual summer party, but the birthday party is into a summer party light is a feather's deficit point.

[SPEAKER_00]: This is we're having so much fun calling out to our mom and they all do. [SPEAKER_00]: And like the fallout of that we've discussed extensively and yeah many many episodes revisited GTC GTS it's been discussed, but I that's the elite version of I agree like having a birthday party. [SPEAKER_00]: Do you guys want to sleep over?

[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, yeah, and then they watch. [SPEAKER_00]: What do they watch pretty in pink? [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: And then we see Luke asleep in the supply or trying to sleep in the supply closet in here. [SPEAKER_00]: Light as a feather. [SPEAKER_00]: This is important. [SPEAKER_00]: Light as a feather.

[SPEAKER_00]: This is a physical board. [SPEAKER_01]: And you can just tell like the makeovers that happen at the, at the diner, makeovers is like such a sleep over by. [SPEAKER_00]: You know what that also reminds me of in terms of sleep over vibes is waking up the next morning with the makeup that you put on the night before because no one taught you to take it off before going to sleep Yeah, or no one had like makeup wipes or anything so you just wake up kind of crunchy.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah next morning, which like that's honestly the feeling that I most associate with sleepovers [SPEAKER_00]: It's just waking up feeling kind of crunchy totally because it's like crunchy unless you brought like your full skin Carolina Yeah, I just like and you don't want to be like the girl who's like, I have a 10-step routine Do you want to fight the skis myself for a moment.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah, very true. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah And so like that's a step routine. [SPEAKER_00]: I always think about that with those girls so like what when they have the little things they drew on their face Yeah, it's weird across morning. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, their mom's gonna get them like [SPEAKER_00]: I've been here, I've been here, I've been here, Black, like, recoon eyes.

[SPEAKER_00]: But I just think that went so much fun. [SPEAKER_00]: Totally. [SPEAKER_00]: Especially because they go till, like, go get the makeup and, like, the activity surrounding it. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, I think that went from, like, beginning to end, I would actually want to do the whole thing.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, for sure. [SPEAKER_00]: Not really fun. [SPEAKER_00]: None of the other ones from beginning to end. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, the bracelet. [SPEAKER_01]: I was gonna say Bracebridge dinner for sure. [SPEAKER_00]: Cause like, I would say secrets and loans, but it's because they had termites.

[SPEAKER_00]: So I definitely don't want the beginning or the end. [SPEAKER_00]: Sure. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I get that. [SPEAKER_00]: But Bracebridge for sure. [SPEAKER_00]: Bracebridge for sure. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: And do you jump? [SPEAKER_00]: Personally. [SPEAKER_00]: I want the beginning, but I want the end.

[SPEAKER_01]: The end. [SPEAKER_01]: It's true. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: For season seven, I'm surprised you didn't put it on. [SPEAKER_01]: Hey, Balmayas. [SPEAKER_00]: Uh, what is it? [SPEAKER_00]: I don't feel cow, but I don't want to do it on the inside. [SPEAKER_01]: And you don't feel cow, I don't want to do it.

[SPEAKER_00]: You know, okay. [SPEAKER_01]: I played that reel for Brett over and over and over again. [SPEAKER_00]: He loved it. [SPEAKER_00]: I just don't feel cow, I don't want to do it inside. [SPEAKER_00]: You know, that's just a good way to describe burnout. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: I just don't feel like I'll be doing this side.

[SPEAKER_00]: People really fought for that line. [SPEAKER_00]: They fought hard. [SPEAKER_00]: You all rode hard for that line if you agreed, but that was not. [SPEAKER_00]: If you thought that that wasn't crazy, thing to say, and I just, I commend you for the wildness of that, but in context and out of context, crazy thing to say, I kind of stopped at season six, as I would do sometimes, sure.

[SPEAKER_00]: But hey, Belmese, that's a, that's a, that's a, that's a trundle sleepover. [SPEAKER_00]: A trundle bed sleepover. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: And there is something to be said about having like a sleepover at a partner's house. [SPEAKER_00]: And like there's something that like sometimes feels a little bit performative about sleeping at someone else's house, whether they're coming to your house or you're going to there's that like you almost feel like you're performing your life like for some reason because [SPEAKER_00]: you don't know how to interact with them in your space or in their space.

[SPEAKER_00]: So when Logan gets up because this of course when Logan comes stars hollow he like is shirtless and so he like puts pants on he puts a shirt on and like like he puts socks on and he was like socks like weird with no shoes on but he's not going to put a shoes on to go get water in the kitchen and kitchen and so he's like kind of like performing himself.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: But then also two people who end up awake at a sleepover, which at this point, these are not two people having a sleepover, literally, and Logan. [SPEAKER_00]: But kind of having a conversation that you might not have. [SPEAKER_01]: Mm-hmm. [SPEAKER_00]: That's trying into someone else and someone else's house.

[SPEAKER_01]: But also like your girlfriend's mom. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and you're not going to be like, oh, oh, but they definitely have this awkward moment awkward and there is something awkward about like, especially if you don't really like know them super well. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and Logan and Laura lie don't have like the best history, but they also don't know each other super well.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, my God, but we consider, um, [SPEAKER_00]: Would we consider a vineyard Valentine a slumber party episode? [SPEAKER_00]: Well, if you're not going to consider, I mean, what, what? [SPEAKER_00]: We never qualified this in any way. [SPEAKER_00]: Like, there was no qualifications for being the slumber party episode of the then we were like, no, the New York trip wasn't.

[SPEAKER_00]: Why I'm not sure but maybe maybe yeah because like I think that in that same way Luke does that at the house in the vineyard of like He's performing himself. [SPEAKER_00]: He's like no everything's fine. [SPEAKER_00]: I have no needs. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm good. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm okay. [SPEAKER_01]: I have no need.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's like you go to someone's house and you're like I'm not gonna house for water. [SPEAKER_00]: I've never been to see in my life. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't like it. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm actually water. [SPEAKER_00]: It's like SpongeBob Because it's a sandy little air bubble. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's a bunch Bob, of course [SPEAKER_00]: Um, but that's that feels like it's like you go to someone else's house and I don't know what to do here.

[SPEAKER_00]: How do I how do I act? [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I feel like when your Valentine could be an honorable mention. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but in that same vein I also feel like there are a couple of other ones that could be honorable mentions. [SPEAKER_00]: I feel like that one honestly I like feel like it's better than an honorable mention because there's some of the other ones that feel definitely honorable mention I would say when your Valentine is like just a sleepovery is to live in that diorama.

[SPEAKER_00]: There you just at Logan's [SPEAKER_01]: It's like a getaway episode, almost. [SPEAKER_00]: It's a getaway and what is a getaway if not a slumber print? [SPEAKER_00]: An adult sleepover. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's true. [SPEAKER_01]: Very true. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: But I believe I've got about A-Bailmaids.

[SPEAKER_00]: I just just think in about them in that trundle. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's them in the trundle. [SPEAKER_01]: It's in the trundle. [SPEAKER_01]: You do these trundle bed. [SPEAKER_01]: That really do these trundle bed. [SPEAKER_01]: So real. [SPEAKER_01]: But speaking of honorable mentions, you wrote down here Christopher Returns because of the couch.

[SPEAKER_00]: He sleeps over. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, the blankets on the couch are such a vibe. [SPEAKER_00]: First of all, you just have to pack it in. [SPEAKER_00]: Whatever extra bedding you have, you just throw it at them because you want this, you need this, you figure it out, baby. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: So the one that really made me laugh was Justin his car and season four. [SPEAKER_00]: This is on my seat, this is like some time. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, here's the thing. [SPEAKER_00]: This is why we don't share a prep note like a note of like our notes like we have separate notes because what I have read that probably not do I remember what episode that was a family matter no is the episode after a family matter no it's a family matter yeah because the officer comes in so this is a very long matter Did he have a sleepover in his car and then obviously will very looks [SPEAKER_01]: No, no, he's by himself.

[SPEAKER_01]: Join us, slumber party. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but Luke comes back to his place. [SPEAKER_01]: Um, no, Luke is cynical. [SPEAKER_00]: No, but in the next episode, isn't he back there? [SPEAKER_01]: He is, but like, Jess is working on his car. [SPEAKER_01]: Like, they're not really seeing each other.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: He was house-it. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know that I'd consider this. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, you with one, the brought it up. [SPEAKER_00]: I probably wouldn't have brought it up. [SPEAKER_01]: you mentioned originally. [SPEAKER_01]: I was like I didn't see this. [SPEAKER_01]: See this is the shock and awe but I would this is like I'm now I'm shocked and I'm like oh I wanted to ask because I you wrote it down.

[SPEAKER_00]: I know but yeah there's two types of shock and awe you know it's like you're like oh my gosh you shock him in there. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah all of them but now it's [SPEAKER_00]: That's like I'm shocked. [SPEAKER_00]: And I shocked you in all that you wrote this down. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, thank you.

[SPEAKER_00]: Good evening. [SPEAKER_00]: Thank you. [SPEAKER_00]: The last one you have here, which was the other one of more? [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you've won more. [SPEAKER_01]: The one I was thinking of when we were talking about Lane and Roy was that, were you just spend the night at Lane's when she's like in between, yes, situations between the Gilmors and then in the protocol daughter returns.

[SPEAKER_01]: returning home to her mom. [SPEAKER_01]: And so I just, that made me laugh because it was like, there is something to be said, I wouldn't consider this lumber party vibes, but like, you know, that's one party vibes. [SPEAKER_01]: No. [SPEAKER_01]: You got that one crumudgent who's like, oh, well, it always cereal.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, you're here again. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, exactly. [SPEAKER_00]: And like wanting to pay for so or wanting worried to pay for soap and all these things. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, you've got coffee. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay. [SPEAKER_00]: Great. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm gonna realize like, hey, didn't you practice in my garage rent for you?

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: And he's like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: But that felt like, um, you know, like, I guess the adult version of like, you need to crash at your friends place. [SPEAKER_00]: You have like a quick little sleepover summer party, and one of their roommates is like, mm, mm, not you again.

[SPEAKER_00]: Not you again. [SPEAKER_01]: Hello, yeah, totally. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: I was like, I was like, what the fuck is that on the shopping mall? [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, my screen went dark and I was like, what's next? [SPEAKER_00]: But you know, that was a good one. [SPEAKER_01]: The other one that I was going to mention that we did talk about when we were right down.

[SPEAKER_01]: Prop 8, no, no, no, we did talk about this when we were prepping and we decided not to put on the list because I feel like people are going to ask. [SPEAKER_01]: is this season for finale, raincoat and recipes when we do the dragonfly end. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, the test run. [SPEAKER_00]: I was like, no, that was not a sleepo.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god. [SPEAKER_00]: That's not a sleepover. [SPEAKER_00]: That's not what we call those. [SPEAKER_00]: That's not a slumber party. [SPEAKER_00]: No one was slumbering the test run at the end. [SPEAKER_00]: The test run at the end because everybody has a room. [SPEAKER_00]: He has a room.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but I'm curious if you guys feel like that does a vocalic slumber party five. [SPEAKER_01]: So if that's something you'd want to see on the slumber party, a slumber party episode playlist. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I actually might add it for this year. [SPEAKER_00]: In fact, everyone playing games in the dining room of like Babette.

[SPEAKER_00]: Was it Babette's, the popped out of her robe? [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, they got, he got a little view. [SPEAKER_00]: That feels. [SPEAKER_00]: Being in your robe, like matching robes with your bestie, while you're playing Yatzi, that feels kind of like having a kind of slumber party vibes, but I want to know what the bestie's at home, because mostly, because I don't think the inn normally would run like that.

[SPEAKER_00]: No, I don't think the guests or downstairs playing Yatzi and give it a peep show. [SPEAKER_01]: That's what they're going to be. [SPEAKER_01]: That's what they're going to be. [SPEAKER_01]: That's what they're going to be. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but I'm curious what you guys think, because I think this is a really fun list, and I would definitely like throw this on.

[SPEAKER_01]: when I have my pal over. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm your pal. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, my pal. [SPEAKER_01]: Thank you. [SPEAKER_01]: You're welcome. [SPEAKER_00]: Which one would you most want to go to? [SPEAKER_00]: Which one would you want to be an attendee at? [SPEAKER_00]: And you have to be at the whole thing.

[SPEAKER_00]: I've to be at the whole thing. [SPEAKER_01]: The bracelet's dinner. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, yeah, you know. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's just fun. [SPEAKER_00]: Which one would you least want to be at? [SPEAKER_01]: Ooh. [SPEAKER_01]: Like you were like, please do not let me. [SPEAKER_01]: Dean and Maurice Lumber party is Season 4 episode 20.

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, is that what we're calling that? [SPEAKER_01]: Hmm, I don't know. [SPEAKER_01]: I also would choose the lower-lice first day of y'all, Lumber party. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, that's very fun. [SPEAKER_01]: But which one would I want to least be at? [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, they're all very fun.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, there's, I guess, the puffs, the puffs, it's not really a sleepover, but like the puffs. [SPEAKER_00]: Hmm, I don't know, it's kind of naughty. [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe I would want to be there. [SPEAKER_00]: I love how much you said the word naughty today. [SPEAKER_00]: That's naughty.

[SPEAKER_00]: What about you? [SPEAKER_00]: Um, I'm looking at them. [SPEAKER_00]: I think that my first instinct is like something like secrets and loans are tail of pose and fire because they're something bad that happened like in like we like some have to do with that as well, which is yeah, maybe I tell a pose and fire.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, but it's fun to watch us off on to experience. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, exactly. [SPEAKER_01]: Whereas like secrets and loans, even though it's not fun to watch or experience, at least when you get to sukey's house things are fun. [SPEAKER_01]: Things are fun. [SPEAKER_01]: And like you can't actually hear the termites.

[SPEAKER_00]: But as someone who's like my apartment building caught fire when I lived in New York and having to like evacuate and find some routes to be in like sleep at front houses until like things were okay. [SPEAKER_00]: Like that one was like, [SPEAKER_00]: You know, I don't love that. [SPEAKER_00]: But if I like, if there was one that I like genuinely didn't want to be a part of, I actually might say, even though I said, Oh, this one is so somber party is to live in that diorama.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah, you're going to be really hungover. [SPEAKER_00]: hungover, drunk crying on the floor. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's pretty bad. [SPEAKER_00]: Making bad decisions in the street, pair of shoes. [SPEAKER_00]: off, yeah, going in and confronting someone who you consider a mentor, because you think that she's into your lame-o-boyfriend, you know, yeah, and then being just so hungover the next day you can't handle it.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think that one, probably that one. [SPEAKER_00]: But also followed very closely by a Taylor-Posimpire. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, also followed very closely by Haybell Nays. [SPEAKER_01]: I was going to say that one, but I was like, it's kind of, [SPEAKER_00]: I would want to talk to Lorraine McKichin, but not if I was Logan, that's a thing.

[SPEAKER_00]: That wouldn't put yourself in the situation. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, those don't make me feel cow bunga-dude inside. [SPEAKER_00]: Same. [SPEAKER_00]: First day at Yale, I feel cow bunga-dude inside. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: That in the Bracebridge dinner, I think, grew the two that I would want to be at.

[SPEAKER_00]: And I don't know which one more than the other. [SPEAKER_00]: No, kind of tight. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but also a little bit of love and warmth. [SPEAKER_01]: What am I saying? [SPEAKER_01]: What am I saying? [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, but Jess doesn't sleep over. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't care. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.

[SPEAKER_00]: He's there. [SPEAKER_00]: He's there at the Britsbridge dinner. [SPEAKER_01]: I made a new friend. [SPEAKER_01]: We eat some osas. [SPEAKER_00]: and moocho mac and cheat. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think that. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh my boyfriend also yelled at me. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know why I'm boring.

[SPEAKER_00]: My boyfriend also. [SPEAKER_00]: No, you were attending. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, you're right. [SPEAKER_00]: So they're pulling up at fourth chair at the table. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you're right. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, they have a fourth chair. [SPEAKER_00]: They only have three. [SPEAKER_00]: Therefore, I think it depends on the scene.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, for sure. [SPEAKER_00]: Over the cameras. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_01]: Those are my top three. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I agree. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and to you. [SPEAKER_01]: All of them really fun. [SPEAKER_00]: I know. [SPEAKER_00]: I actually think I'd go to all of them.

[SPEAKER_00]: You know, the ones I didn't want to go to. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: I really wish that we could build a playlist like this. [SPEAKER_00]: I know. [SPEAKER_00]: I know. [SPEAKER_00]: I know. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm actually like, like an editor-in-law. [SPEAKER_00]: Especially as falls approaching, especially because like, I feel like this is not so much a summer show, but sleep over feels so summer.

[SPEAKER_00]: Even though all of these take place. [SPEAKER_00]: various times. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and especially after getting that confirmation from John Steven's last week that like they really did write the show seasonally or then you really leaned into that. [SPEAKER_00]: But I feel like summer sleepover sleepover vibes.

[SPEAKER_01]: So true. [SPEAKER_00]: And I wish you could do this without having to hop around and popcorn through on your room. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I know. [SPEAKER_01]: But we'll make a little list a little guideline posted on our Instagram. [SPEAKER_01]: so we sure to be on the lookout for that. [SPEAKER_01]: But if you guys think that we missed anything, do let us know because we'll do a little round-up.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Or you feel like our qualifications didn't make any sense. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, right, probably right, let us know. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we'll definitely post about it. [SPEAKER_01]: And I feel like people will have some big feelings. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you guys always have big feelings.

[SPEAKER_00]: And I love that about you. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's true. [SPEAKER_00]: I love a passionate, I love a passionate gal. [SPEAKER_00]: Or guy. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, passionate. [SPEAKER_00]: Bestie. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's true. [SPEAKER_01]: Next week's episode is a little bit of a switch up.

[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to do this episode earlier this month. [SPEAKER_01]: And then we ended up making it a little bit. [SPEAKER_01]: We're going to be talking about money. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh my gosh, so Ray, we're going to be talking about money [SPEAKER_00]: See you next week. [SPEAKER_01]: and that is how we're going to introduce the topic he literally is just going to sing about it.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, actually next week is actually musical episode, musical, musical money. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's a musical, money, musical. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, because it's very dramatic in a lot of ways that deeply impacts the plot. [SPEAKER_00]: But also just opens up a lot of questions of like what was happening, who was paying how much money were in those envelopes.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my gosh, yes. [SPEAKER_00]: And we'll have more to say on that in the next episode.
