[SPEAKER_01]: This is a cut-up production. [SPEAKER_03]: What is a fun little game that we can play? [SPEAKER_03]: Just a really quick game. [SPEAKER_03]: Uh-uh, what's a Beastie wrap or some shit? [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, sure, let's do Beastie wrap. [SPEAKER_03]: Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom

[SPEAKER_02]: I know a guy, his name is right. [SPEAKER_00]: No, it's got a map, it's got a Rammatine. [SPEAKER_02]: I got a big gold piece of rod. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry, we're got out of land. [SPEAKER_03]: Okay. [SPEAKER_02]: Hoping my brain remembers how to play. [SPEAKER_02]: All right. [SPEAKER_02]: I know a guy, his name is Mike.

[SPEAKER_02]: He likes to ride a really big bike. [SPEAKER_01]: It's true. [SPEAKER_01]: He likes to go fish. [SPEAKER_01]: He's fishing for pike. [SPEAKER_01]: He rides a small bike. [SPEAKER_00]: It's called a strike. [SPEAKER_00]: I told him, go take a hike. [SPEAKER_02]: And when he's riding his small bike, he's like this bike.

[SPEAKER_02]: I'll eat. [SPEAKER_00]: Like. [SPEAKER_03]: Why? [SPEAKER_03]: No, no. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm feeling pretty warm. [SPEAKER_02]: I'm feeling pretty warm. [SPEAKER_02]: I'm feeling mine. [SPEAKER_02]: Sunrise. [SPEAKER_02]: Smell of smoke, soggy dead trees, and burnt up carbon, in the air, along with the wind carrying the smell of crisp and fresh snow.

[SPEAKER_02]: The sun is rising now over, gentle snow falling upon a lonely A-frame mountain cabin. [SPEAKER_02]: The cabin itself is rustic, built from logs with a door covered in a peeling red paint, one dark window peeping out of his disage. [SPEAKER_02]: In front of the cabin we can see a verdant green snow kissed evergreen.

[SPEAKER_02]: Behind the cabin, we can see a large selection of bear and burped trees. [SPEAKER_02]: The snow collected on them makes them look like charred bones. [SPEAKER_02]: In the distance through these black and snags, snow-capped mountains, there's a rough wooden chair out by the door, and around back you can see poles, laundry lines, and you can see a chicken shack, and see rabbits, skipping through the forest, and owl hoots, son is rising, darkness becoming day.

[SPEAKER_02]: We hear a crack! [SPEAKER_02]: Like a door slamming so hard it breaks the sound barriers. [SPEAKER_02]: The trees ripple and shake from the shockwave for a scream out of the pipe from the trees. [SPEAKER_02]: Rabbits scatter. [SPEAKER_02]: We see a green hatchback on many monster truck wheels.

[SPEAKER_02]: All of a sudden, manifesting, bending, twisting out of air, moving with a propulsive forward foot to break on snow. [SPEAKER_02]: The crack is still ringing out in the air. [SPEAKER_02]: It's an in small shock waves through the snow rippling across the mountainous terrain. [SPEAKER_02]: From the distance, a disturbance in a great plane of snowfall ripples lightly, small pieces tumble.

[SPEAKER_02]: The green bats that whewed here. [SPEAKER_02]: Booger, bam, landed deep, deep and snow. [SPEAKER_02]: White powder coming up to the upper part of the monster truck wheels inside Booger. [SPEAKER_02]: We see three individual hungry tired, freaked out his health. [SPEAKER_02]: Freaked out as hell-style individuals, hungry tired, sleepy hungry tired, horny, three guys.

[SPEAKER_02]: Pay me a picture of who what are we seeing inside Booger. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god! [SPEAKER_00]: Holy heck! [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, how's everybody doing? [SPEAKER_00]: Are you okay? [SPEAKER_00]: Are you okay? [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, I don't touch the back of his red adult hair and it feels the absence of a black rat tail that has been pulled out of his hair somehow.

[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, you got a little drip of blood going to the back of your neck, man. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, that stinks. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, the rat tail's gone. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Whoa. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, are you okay? [SPEAKER_00]: Do you feel normal? [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, no, I feel normal.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, fuck. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god, I have to pee so bad, you guys. [SPEAKER_00]: I have to poop so bad. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I got to come so bad. [SPEAKER_01]: Whoa! [SPEAKER_01]: Not only gets what you said, but actually. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, geez. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay. [SPEAKER_00]: All right.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god, where's the freaking hell? [SPEAKER_03]: Hmm, knowing I don't take a big Olympic peninsula sniff. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, hey, you're gonna want to lower the wind up before a take a big sniff in here Let me take poison damage. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, the only reason I don't have to poop and pee is because I already did [SPEAKER_01]: Just kidding.

[SPEAKER_01]: But seriously, we rolled on the windows. [SPEAKER_01]: Shh. [SPEAKER_01]: They work. [SPEAKER_01]: And God. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it all works. [SPEAKER_00]: It all works too. [SPEAKER_00]: And normally well. [SPEAKER_00]: And you put the seed in that bad boy? [SPEAKER_00]: I did. [SPEAKER_00]: And Violet kind of shakes the steering wheel a little.

[SPEAKER_00]: Hello. [SPEAKER_01]: Hey, that's a, let's not get off on the wrong foot with whatever this becomes. [SPEAKER_00]: Bugger might not take kindly to shake in and then violate gently packs the steering wheel Bugger sits silently in response to the shaking. [UNKNOWN]: Okay. [SPEAKER_00]: You know what?

[SPEAKER_00]: Okay. [SPEAKER_00]: Let's look at look up there You guys see that [SPEAKER_03]: The cabin? [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: God. [SPEAKER_03]: TV man would have loved being here with us at around this cabin. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, and meets Stu and TV man. [SPEAKER_01]: Hell, even David. [SPEAKER_01]: Hell, even St. Marks.

[SPEAKER_03]: Even Juniper, the Tiny Cato, I met off camera. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: And a cool adventure with. [SPEAKER_03]: It's on the Patreon in a couple years. [SPEAKER_00]: Fuck it and then Violet takes their gun and it's like ready to get out of the car right away Let's go Poles out his cemetery and his shotgun guys.

[SPEAKER_01]: Let's just good to be cautious good to be prepared But let's not just necessarily come brand-dishing weapons at this person's house. [SPEAKER_01]: We we need to find out where we are [SPEAKER_01]: first of all because I don't know where I don't have my cell phone. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if the cell phone we still have from David has signal right now, but I doubt it on this mountaintop or wherever we are.

[SPEAKER_01]: Are we in a mountain or a valley? [SPEAKER_02]: Here's to be a mountain. [SPEAKER_03]: It looks like a mountain mountain. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, sorry. [SPEAKER_01]: I had to take another look around. [SPEAKER_03]: All right. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm open in this damn door and yes, I have weapons, but I also have charm and I can defuse a situation as fast as I can fuse a situation.

[SPEAKER_01]: Let's just let's keep the guns in the waste lands, please. [SPEAKER_01]: All right. [SPEAKER_00]: a violet puts their gun down near their side, but not in the waste band. [SPEAKER_01]: Remember that we're back in polite society and we cannot get on the radar of the police right now. [SPEAKER_01]: We cannot work to we are parents.

[SPEAKER_03]: I think that the warp was more polite than this world that we just exist. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I was said polite society with an ironic band. [SPEAKER_03]: I didn't catch the irony because I have to [SPEAKER_00]: Boops, oh god, I didn't deliver the irony enough because I have to come so bad.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god, you know what I I just realized We got to tie up the car. [SPEAKER_00]: We should tie the car to a tree. [SPEAKER_03]: You think yeah, we're gonna tie Bugger to a tree You think when Bugger game sentience she's gonna be happy to be tied to a tree? [SPEAKER_00]: No, but I think she might not know where I am and then she's gonna go running and go talk to her [SPEAKER_00]: It's like when you tie a dog to a thing outside, it's not going to hurt her.

[SPEAKER_03]: Would you better give her a treat after you do it? [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know how it works. [SPEAKER_03]: It's bugger. [SPEAKER_03]: Now a baby or a bugger. [SPEAKER_00]: An adult who lives for life since she was known as far as we can tell Bugger is just still just a car And the seed was a piece of fucking junk.

[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't do anything. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm opening the door. [SPEAKER_00]: Is that all right? [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah The door opens. [SPEAKER_02]: Order you step out. [SPEAKER_02]: Ooh, it's cold. [SPEAKER_02]: It is chilly. [SPEAKER_02]: Not colder than we left. [SPEAKER_02]: No, it's mighty It's mighty.

[SPEAKER_02]: It's mighty chilly up in these up in these mountains. [SPEAKER_02]: Uh, yeah, it feels it feels really cold [SPEAKER_03]: Out of reaches into his bag really quickly and pulls out a slank it, right? [SPEAKER_01]: Is that what those were a couple of Lincoln snuggies? [SPEAKER_01]: Was this was a couple snuggies?

[SPEAKER_01]: A couple snuggies? [SPEAKER_03]: A competitor that was killed by a snuggie, right? [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, a sluggie. [SPEAKER_03]: This is a little off beat. [SPEAKER_03]: He's always picks the weird option. [SPEAKER_03]: He's got a slank it on. [SPEAKER_03]: It's a leopard-print slank it.

[SPEAKER_03]: And he's out here and he hides his gun under the slank it and he hides his Simitar under the slank it. [SPEAKER_03]: And he pulls two other slankets out. [SPEAKER_02]: Well, you're rummaging through your scald. [SPEAKER_02]: You do, you do briefly notice the two other packages that Durinda left you.

[SPEAKER_03]: And we're going to want to crack into these packages as soon as we crack into that home over there. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, why don't we just let's leave everything in the car for now until we see what's what up there. [SPEAKER_00]: And if we need to make a quick getaway, you know what? [SPEAKER_00]: We're not tying up booker because if we need to get the fuck out of here, we don't want the car tied up to anything.

[SPEAKER_00]: So let's check it out. [SPEAKER_00]: Get our bearings. [SPEAKER_00]: See what's what? [SPEAKER_03]: And then we go into that house. [SPEAKER_03]: Yes. [SPEAKER_03]: And we poop, piss. [SPEAKER_03]: You can do what you need to in a bathroom. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: Or I'm on her.

[SPEAKER_03]: Jesus Christ. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh my God. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh my God. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh my God. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh my God. [SPEAKER_00]: We went through a wormhole type thing and the two of you have switched. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh god. [SPEAKER_03]: I think they're pulling out their rat tail.

[SPEAKER_03]: Left a wormhole in the back of my head that goes straight to my brain. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, trepination. [SPEAKER_01]: You're going to be able to open your third eye. [SPEAKER_01]: Whoa. [SPEAKER_01]: All right. [SPEAKER_01]: You're going to go ahead and take minus 20 bill. [SPEAKER_01]: Nice.

[SPEAKER_03]: I feel. [SPEAKER_03]: Other has two squash rackets that he's using as snowshoes. [SPEAKER_03]: And this is a little trick I learned when I played in Mongolia for seven years. [SPEAKER_03]: Um, how did you get it? [SPEAKER_03]: Yep, canonical. [SPEAKER_03]: The Mongolia years. [SPEAKER_00]: Just straight.

[SPEAKER_00]: You just drew a check mark on the top of the street. [SPEAKER_01]: I know what it means. [SPEAKER_01]: I know what it means. [SPEAKER_03]: I know what it means. [SPEAKER_03]: I've played a tabletop role playing game before. [SPEAKER_02]: Otters. [SPEAKER_02]: Saunterine over. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and what does this happen to you as you're walking up to the house notice it's a yes an a frame again peeling red door dark looks very dark on the inside It's a gate closer it looks it looks pitch black on the inside as you're walking over You notice off to the left of the cabin.

[SPEAKER_02]: Oh look there's like some vehicles underneath some snow. [SPEAKER_02]: There's like a [SPEAKER_02]: It looks like a pickup truck with chains on the tires, a snowcat, you can see a small fishing boat that's like a big pile of snow on top of it. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you're walking over your field in the cold and you hear a pfft.

[SPEAKER_02]: Again, you look up to the mountain that's like right up behind the A frame and you see more snow kind of tumbling down the side, you know. [SPEAKER_03]: And it's not a lot. [SPEAKER_02]: But it's enough to make you go. [SPEAKER_02]: Evelynch. [SPEAKER_02]: Evelynch would be like... Evelynch.

[SPEAKER_03]: Otter shots. [SPEAKER_02]: I suppose. [SPEAKER_03]: You can go my arms. [SPEAKER_03]: Fly out of the trees. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I can cause an avalanche. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, no, that was not economical. [SPEAKER_00]: Again and all. [SPEAKER_03]: Real quick. [SPEAKER_03]: Otter is familiar with the Olympic peninsula and the mountain ranges on this peninsula.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: Does this look familiar to Otter? [SPEAKER_03]: I feel like that could be a roll, maybe a navigate roll or an appraisal roll. [SPEAKER_02]: Let's say it's a navigate roll with advantage. [SPEAKER_03]: Okay. [SPEAKER_02]: So you roll that twice and you, or you roll one of the D10 twice.

[SPEAKER_01]: This I'm out for with the use and appraisal for anything. [SPEAKER_00]: I have great navigation. [SPEAKER_02]: No, it would be, it would be navigation for you. [SPEAKER_02]: It would be with advantage just because you're, you know, because you're specifically like, is this the Olympic Peninsula of the place I've spent so much?

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, because we would look out and it's very obvious if you're on a mountain and on this peninsula, you'd be like, oh, there's Seattle. [SPEAKER_03]: Maybe if the war hasn't changed all that crap. [SPEAKER_00]: And if you don't figure it out, I want to try to think it out. [SPEAKER_03]: Can someone pass me some dice that are just cool?

[SPEAKER_03]: And for advantage with this, I roll. [SPEAKER_02]: You roll the D101 twice and whatever the lower one is, you take it. [SPEAKER_03]: Okay, so I rolled 50 which would be a hit. [SPEAKER_02]: And so if you got 50, you roll the five one again. [SPEAKER_02]: See if you get four, three, two, one or zero.

[SPEAKER_03]: Okay. [SPEAKER_03]: Now, I think I think we landed on 00 being 100. [SPEAKER_03]: That's really bad. [SPEAKER_02]: Yes, so you wouldn't get that because that's bad and with advantage means you get the one that I get the word good, but hold on. [SPEAKER_01]: Is that the first time somebody's rolled the actual the worst role?

[SPEAKER_02]: Does it happen? [SPEAKER_03]: It happened in a pre pre prologue episode and we may have said that that was good then [SPEAKER_02]: But with advantage does indicate it would be unfair if with advantage you get the worst role if you roll it in it makes it more likely that you will roll the worst role.

[SPEAKER_02]: So we're gonna take the better of the normal hit a normal fucking hit. [SPEAKER_02]: I hope you cut that casey Or you left it in because I said I hope you cut that casey with verv and I'm continuing it so that almost guarantees you will leave it in [SPEAKER_01]: It's a hit. [SPEAKER_02]: Okay, so, so looking around otter, taking in the air, smelling that sort of burnt smell.

[SPEAKER_02]: That's snowy smell, looking at the mountains. [SPEAKER_02]: You feel extremely confident you are not in Washington state. [SPEAKER_02]: We ain't in Washington anymore. [SPEAKER_02]: No, the trees are all wrong. [SPEAKER_02]: The shape of the mountain, you do not recognize, and we ain't in Mongolia.

[SPEAKER_03]: Are we in, I'm more familiar with Mongolia than I am. [SPEAKER_03]: Are we in the Pacific Northwest? [SPEAKER_03]: Don't make me do another role. [SPEAKER_03]: Whoa, I don't mean, I don't know. [SPEAKER_03]: I guess you won't know unless. [SPEAKER_03]: If I's driven all over the place, that's why maybe if I do a role.

[SPEAKER_00]: Okay. [SPEAKER_02]: It's navigation time. [SPEAKER_03]: No, I failed. [SPEAKER_03]: Okay. [SPEAKER_00]: Let's just get inside. [SPEAKER_00]: But my navigation is 50. [SPEAKER_02]: What did you get? [SPEAKER_00]: 65. [SPEAKER_02]: Ah fucking hell. [SPEAKER_02]: There's this. [SPEAKER_02]: Stupid ass game.

[SPEAKER_02]: You look out and you're like, fuck, this stupid fucking life of mine. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I can't tell what the fucking goddamn. [SPEAKER_02]: What's the point of learning all his navigation and shit if I don't object shit? [SPEAKER_03]: Fuck, this fucking stupid ass life. [SPEAKER_03]: Back of hand, otter knocks on the door three times.

[SPEAKER_01]: Are you trying to look scratch I am is scratch is bashful that you caught him because scratch just wanted to like just you know sometimes when somebody presents a challenge that you have no right to succeed at but you just want to be a cry when you're like you did you're like what if I just roll the golden hit right now and I'm like oh no I I've been to this this mountain in Montana before the one particular specific role of 60 something this scratch is like [SPEAKER_00]: Yep.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, this doesn't look like Pacific Northwest at all. [SPEAKER_03]: What the? [SPEAKER_02]: You knocked on the door? [SPEAKER_03]: No response. [SPEAKER_03]: No response, guys. [SPEAKER_03]: And then, Otter looks at the ground. [SPEAKER_03]: And are there any sort of like fake rocks or door mats?

[UNKNOWN]: Ooh. [SPEAKER_02]: That's a great question. [SPEAKER_02]: Let's say there's a little door mat there. [SPEAKER_03]: Otter peels the door mat up to see if there's a spare key. [SPEAKER_03]: It is bare. [SPEAKER_00]: All right, let's case the windows. [SPEAKER_00]: Let's see. [SPEAKER_00]: I'll go this way.

[SPEAKER_00]: You go that way. [SPEAKER_03]: Uh, yeah, tack east faint west. [SPEAKER_03]: Hmm. [SPEAKER_03]: It sure makes hand signs. [SPEAKER_03]: Hmm. [SPEAKER_03]: Hmm. [SPEAKER_02]: Okay. [SPEAKER_02]: So there's only one window on this A frame, which is the one right by the door. [SPEAKER_02]: But you can peel around the side and go around the back.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Okay, so you guys peel around the side. [SPEAKER_02]: Auto you go by the the cars and the boat file that you go around the other side. [SPEAKER_02]: You come around back. [SPEAKER_02]: Behind the cabin, you can see that there are but doesn't trees here that are burnt.

[SPEAKER_02]: Very badly the ground is blackened and that looks like it even reached the back left part of the cabin The part you're walking right by or shit scorched on the that area there. [SPEAKER_02]: You can see a fire pit Which is ironically untouched. [SPEAKER_02]: You can see a chicken shack [SPEAKER_02]: partially burned wood shed, and you can see there's several poles, some with lines, some with mesh wire, netting.

[SPEAKER_02]: One looks like laundry lines the other. [SPEAKER_02]: You would be familiar with survivalist stuff, otter, like making jerky or... Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: Beef stuff. [SPEAKER_03]: Any chickens in the chicken coop? [SPEAKER_03]: You go check the chicken coop. [SPEAKER_03]: The chicken coop is empty.

[SPEAKER_03]: Good. [SPEAKER_03]: wouldn't want to have to take care of these chickens with all the problems we already have. [SPEAKER_01]: That might be fried chicken with this wildfire, the past three. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, maybe there was a bread, a panco-crumb, a blanch that came down now, as well.

[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, now I'm gonna hungry. [SPEAKER_02]: Also the best of my say, [SPEAKER_02]: uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh

[SPEAKER_02]: you know these big old logs all sort of Lincoln log together but you do see there is like a hunting bow leaned up against the wall with a couple arrows three four arrows next to it. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh sweet. [SPEAKER_03]: Otter is going to you know just sort of nonchalantly walk up to the arrows and just take the arrows and just throw them you know an inconvenient distance away from the bow.

[SPEAKER_03]: All right, okay. [SPEAKER_00]: Don't think anyone's home, but you said you said that it's burned like that there's an opening you could walk through. [SPEAKER_02]: Oh no, it's not burned like it's opened it. [SPEAKER_02]: It's just like like it's scorched the outside of the outside sky.

[SPEAKER_00]: Got it. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you can see you can see that following the fire, you can see there's like there's like a melted like ATV like in the middle of the forest by all those burnt trees. [SPEAKER_02]: And you can see the side the wood shed, you can see it like a bunch of like totally like melted out I can a gasoline canisters.

[SPEAKER_00]: What are you rolling for? [SPEAKER_03]: I rolled for a praisele to see if I can tell if this was recent. [SPEAKER_03]: Because that is an appraisal thing. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm appraising if this is a recent fire. [SPEAKER_03]: Appraising the ATV or the wood. [SPEAKER_02]: Appraisle is tough for that one.

[SPEAKER_02]: Do you have a survival spell? [SPEAKER_02]: I have track survival. [SPEAKER_03]: Uh, um, um, I actually don't have survival. [SPEAKER_03]: How's that piece of ball? [SPEAKER_03]: How about tracking a tracking tracking? [SPEAKER_01]: I You might not be able to check the four wheeler, but you'd be able to check like how long will grass was burned.

[SPEAKER_02]: I would say I would say tracking applies. [SPEAKER_03]: Let's just say otter doesn't know. [SPEAKER_03]: Okay. [SPEAKER_03]: But anyone else is welcome. [SPEAKER_01]: You never tried the front door, right? [SPEAKER_01]: I didn't try. [SPEAKER_01]: No, we just, we just, we just not. [SPEAKER_01]: Scratch has tried it while they're doing [SPEAKER_02]: The windows locked.

[UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, scratch says a little spell when guardian. [SPEAKER_00]: No. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, not some not some Harry Potter spell, but you know, that's the one that came to mind. [SPEAKER_01]: That's one because you have your name. [SPEAKER_00]: Uh, Yari. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, no, no, I'm sorry.

[SPEAKER_03]: You're not sorry. [SPEAKER_03]: Would be there. [SPEAKER_00]: That is an excellent call and an excellent idea. [SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, [SPEAKER_00]: out there. [SPEAKER_00]: And rather than trying to track it or anything, I mean, it seems like it probably drove into, it was on fire, drove into the side of this thing, or exploded, and then someone drove it out there, and then stopped, or then something like that happened.

[SPEAKER_00]: Who can say? [SPEAKER_00]: But, [SPEAKER_00]: In this moment, she gets a little chill, and tries so hard to tap into Yari and Norn. [SPEAKER_00]: You called? [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you guys. [SPEAKER_01]: Yo. [SPEAKER_00]: You guys sense the spider thing? [SPEAKER_00]: Uh, uh, uh, how do I get into the building?

[SPEAKER_00]: How do we talk to the spider, you know, that the spider thing? [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, God, God, yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: You don't really talk to God talks to you through just the events that occur in your life. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, just sort of God is sort of what is happening right now, which is, we give thanks for all of you.

[SPEAKER_01]: Do you want to talk to those two French cat burglars you killed that one time? [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, we'll talk to them in a while, I might be able to give you a tip or two. [SPEAKER_02]: Me, put your time out there. [SPEAKER_02]: Hey, I know what you're doing. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, okay. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm not just the real.

[SPEAKER_03]: I was just another guy who you killed. [SPEAKER_03]: We all did that. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, the French voice is laying out together. [SPEAKER_00]: They were all in the same car. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, we are... French. [SPEAKER_03]: We got French. [SPEAKER_03]: I will go over there so it will be less crowded in your brain.

[SPEAKER_00]: Alright, you guys gotta get back to you guys. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, don't think I got it, I hope you'll very much. [SPEAKER_02]: Unless, unless you wanted to hear about, unless you want to hear about my favorite kinds of scum music. [SPEAKER_02]: Yes, I do. [SPEAKER_02]: Okay, I love the specials.

[SPEAKER_02]: Ah, you're a very good band. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm more of an aquabat guy. [SPEAKER_02]: Aquabat, that's the first generation. [SPEAKER_02]: That's the two-far remote for the original. [SPEAKER_00]: What kind of music is the guy? [SPEAKER_00]: Music of Jamaica. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't really think.

[SPEAKER_01]: He's just kind of the only thing I don't do not listen. [SPEAKER_01]: But I break into an house. [SPEAKER_02]: I was interested in that stuff, and I was thinking, you break into houses? [SPEAKER_01]: I'm a cat. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, how do I break in? [SPEAKER_00]: I can't take a break or something for a window.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, but that's gonna fuck up the house. [SPEAKER_02]: I don't really care about the house, you know. [SPEAKER_02]: So that me getting into the house. [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I mean you could. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, do you have a couple of things to do? [SPEAKER_00]: I wish. [SPEAKER_00]: That's what I'm one of the spiders to tell me.

[SPEAKER_00]: Whether there's a key around. [SPEAKER_02]: Sometimes, sometimes, when we come to a door, I can't get to the door. [SPEAKER_02]: We kicked the door really, really hard. [SPEAKER_01]: I think they're cool at that and I'm a very French, but I've lived all across y'all I've lived everywhere It's kind of you when I speak English, I, you know They call it's got burglar because we're your French font trust [SPEAKER_02]: But really, we more like the kicked-and-dore kill You, there's a situation with the cat burglars, a sneaky like a cat knows the cause cats because they say fresh people are like cats So it's really quite brutal.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, we more like lying on our time. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, not with these guys, but they are living out that they are also racist [SPEAKER_03]: Well, yes, but it was a fraction. [SPEAKER_00]: I thought that this space, my brain, was dedicated for people that I felt remorse about killing and I don't know if I feel any remorse about killing and I don't know if I feel any remorse about killing and I don't know if I feel any remorse about killing and I don't know if I feel any remorse about killing and I don't know if I feel any remorse about killing and I don't know if I feel any remorse about killing and I don't know if I feel any remorse about killing and I don't know if I feel any remorse about killing and I don't know if I feel any remorse about killing and I don't know if I feel any remorse about killing and I don't know if I feel any remorse about killing and I don't know if I feel any remorse about killing and I don't know if I feel any remorse about killing and I don't know if I feel any remorse about killing and I don't know if I

[SPEAKER_03]: You guys are dismissed. [SPEAKER_03]: Whew! [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, well, I've consulted with myself, and I think that, oh, I think, but we should break down the door. [SPEAKER_03]: Oddder comes from background. [SPEAKER_03]: There was no backdoor, right? [SPEAKER_03]: No backdoor. [SPEAKER_03]: This is places, uh, not safer, the fire that's back out.

[SPEAKER_03]: They're only one exit, right here. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, the thing is that if we break down the door, and, you know, when we got a break down the wall, [SPEAKER_00]: We can do that too. [SPEAKER_03]: Hey, scratch! [SPEAKER_03]: Hmm. [SPEAKER_03]: You haven't worn your helmet in a while, right?

[SPEAKER_01]: Hmm, my headset? [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, not for purposes other than just like seen in the dark lately, but I don't really know what the thing can do. [SPEAKER_03]: You think it could like identify like weak spots in the house or some sort of, uh, oh? [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it did show, it showed the location in the book.

[SPEAKER_01]: I thought that was like because it was connected to the book, but I guess we could try, scratch, [SPEAKER_01]: He puts on his backpack with the computer in it, and the whole set up, and he slips on the headset. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that gnarly looking headset, that burnt up looking headset, that's sort of ps4, rump through a chemical fire looking headset, ps4, VR, by the way, it's not even initially described it.

[SPEAKER_02]: So you put the headset on boom, it's a darkness. [SPEAKER_02]: And then you see a symbol in white, a dragon or a boros. [SPEAKER_02]: And then you see the world around you in a grainy black and white. [SPEAKER_02]: and then you see a white circle drawn before you and it disappears. [SPEAKER_02]: And you're looking through and you're seeing this and you do see a little bright white image.

[SPEAKER_02]: It's like you're looking at the front of the A frame cabin right now but you see like a little tiny glowing image like behind the cabin. [SPEAKER_01]: I see this glowing image. [SPEAKER_01]: Do I still see everything else in the black and white infrared? [SPEAKER_01]: Right, yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, as we've said before, the framerate is really low and it lags behind.

[SPEAKER_01]: So Scratch is kind of almost like dizzily off balance, walking his way through the snow, crunching through, slipping every once in a while, steadying himself on the side of the building as he walks around it. [SPEAKER_01]: And he approaches. [SPEAKER_02]: You see, once you get around to the back of the A-frame, that this glow is coming from inside the wood shed.

[SPEAKER_01]: Hey, have we checked that wood shed? [SPEAKER_01]: He points. [SPEAKER_00]: Uh, nope. [SPEAKER_00]: Not a. [SPEAKER_00]: But I will. [SPEAKER_02]: Violet, you walk up to the wood shed, and you'll open the door. [SPEAKER_02]: Inside the wood shed, you see a body face down bullet hole in the back of the head.

[SPEAKER_02]: Did we find a key violent? [SPEAKER_02]: Blood everywhere, please roll for a veil. [SPEAKER_01]: I think Violet's silence means we found a key. [SPEAKER_03]: Outer is not too far behind, but maybe getting less of the, uh, sorry for saying those guys are the racist. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm sorry about that.

[SPEAKER_01]: They're not, hey, everybody who's listening, economically, they weren't. [SPEAKER_00]: I did not pass. [SPEAKER_02]: Okay. [SPEAKER_02]: You take a four veil damage. [SPEAKER_02]: Oh shit. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, pretty good. [SPEAKER_02]: One more and you do a little temporary unveiling. [SPEAKER_02]: So you let out, you make some sort of like reaction.

[SPEAKER_02]: Oh a little yellow. [SPEAKER_00]: Fire, what is it? [SPEAKER_00]: Violet from the key, Violet from the key! [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, the key to the... Guys, one up and take a look. [SPEAKER_00]: God damn it. [SPEAKER_01]: Give me some real rules. [SPEAKER_01]: Scratch doesn't run up, he's back by the house, jumping and throwing his hands in the air like, wow, guys, it worked.

[SPEAKER_01]: I can find the things I'm looking for with this. [SPEAKER_01]: Honestly. [SPEAKER_02]: Use a power rule. [SPEAKER_01]: other other past and it's like oh yep no yeah that's just a wasted guy yeah old zero here we go we're gonna get now this could be fun we could have a double [SPEAKER_00]: it's okay it's golden fucking head you said golden fucking hit and I was like golden fucking hit golden fucking hit we strike a button and it's just an insanely good roll you can feel like it's sucking on the back of your head like it's trying to take something from you but you just [SPEAKER_02]: you just go with the flow and you don't get a bad feeling at all, you feel like you are on top of this visor experience.

[SPEAKER_01]: This might be also, you know, actually replaced its like light visor with the one from my PSVR2 headset, which was a little bit more comfortable. [SPEAKER_01]: So this might be the start scratcher starting to feel like he's tame in the beast a bit. [SPEAKER_03]: Take it to the ownership of this power, [SPEAKER_03]: So we're looking at this dead guy.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: Otter. [SPEAKER_03]: He's, it's, it's, it's, it's, he's on phase. [SPEAKER_02]: Got 40 something balding man. [SPEAKER_02]: He's wearing like a well worn like winter coat. [SPEAKER_02]: Face down, blood, brain matter on the wood. [SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, face down on the snow.

[SPEAKER_02]: They're bullet-hole in the back of that. [SPEAKER_00]: Rest in peace sir. [SPEAKER_00]: And I'm so sorry to do this. [SPEAKER_02]: But I got to check your pockets and so Violet bends down to check the pocket you find a key find a key find a key We found a key find a little a little Swiss army knife You find a pack of smokes and a lighter.

[SPEAKER_02]: Oh hell no, it's not a pack of smokes He's he does like a tobacco a thing of tobacco and rolling favors. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh hell can I Flip this guy over and just see what's left of his face if I recognize this guy by any chance not that I would but [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, you flip them over.

[SPEAKER_02]: It's a pretty grizzly side. [SPEAKER_02]: His forehead is, there's a big chunk out of it going and a bit of his right eyeball missing. [SPEAKER_02]: He has a beard. [SPEAKER_02]: He just looks like a guy. [SPEAKER_02]: You don't recognize him. [SPEAKER_03]: Okay, I don't know this guy. [SPEAKER_03]: And I don't know where we are, but we got a key.

[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's safe to say we're at his house, Rest in peace, sir. [SPEAKER_00]: Thank you for the key. [SPEAKER_00]: And thank you for the tobacco, [SPEAKER_00]: hot smoke. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it kills. [SPEAKER_03]: He points to the dead guy. [SPEAKER_00]: And by the end of the day. [SPEAKER_00]: Violet was great.

[SPEAKER_00]: hesitation slowly dumps the tobacco out in the snow. [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, the wind blows it away. [SPEAKER_02]: Oh. [SPEAKER_01]: You guys walk back towards the house for scratches. [SPEAKER_01]: He takes heads that often. [SPEAKER_01]: And he's, oh, you find it on a hook or something under a pot?

[SPEAKER_00]: It was in dead guy's pocket. [SPEAKER_00]: Dead guy pocket scratch throws up But it's probably from the polling the headset off and up and as he's throwing up Otters just like yeah, he was shot in the back of the head and went through he looked pretty messed up You know beard But I didn't smoke the tobacco and that's called progress.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah recovery Whatever my god, I want to cigarette so bad. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay. [SPEAKER_00]: Uh, let's go [SPEAKER_03]: anything else we want to talk about. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I don't know. [SPEAKER_03]: And I'm not going to make a big deal about how it's July 29 right now on a couple of days.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's going to be Michael's birthday. [SPEAKER_03]: You guys do not have to get me a big giant present. [SPEAKER_03]: You don't have to get me a big extravagant present. [SPEAKER_03]: Like, a novelty cake with a dancer inside. [SPEAKER_03]: I don't need that. [SPEAKER_03]: I don't need billions of gold.

[SPEAKER_03]: A birthday is not about needs. [SPEAKER_01]: It's about wants. [SPEAKER_01]: It could be an all expenses paid trip. [SPEAKER_01]: It could be an experience. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, absolutely. [SPEAKER_03]: Big ol' box. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, it doesn't have to be a big material thing, like a giant figure of Luffy from one piece.

[SPEAKER_03]: And anybody's like 70 tall. [SPEAKER_03]: And it's like clearly stolen from like a ramen restaurant. [SPEAKER_00]: And no shorter than 70 feet because it needs to be 70 tall. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, of course. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, if you're going to get me a fucking Luffy statue, better be at least 70.

[SPEAKER_03]: Is that what you're saying? [SPEAKER_03]: Yes. [SPEAKER_03]: Doesn't have, but isn't that it could be a $2,500 Venmo. [SPEAKER_03]: with an emoji as the payment description. [SPEAKER_03]: So I don't get invested by the birthday IRS division. [SPEAKER_00]: It could be just a suitcase empty, but it's like a good suitcase.

[SPEAKER_00]: Really good suitcase. [SPEAKER_03]: You know what it could be. [SPEAKER_03]: It could be you the listener calling in too. [SPEAKER_00]: our phone number seven seven three six six eight gun. [SPEAKER_00]: That's two four six eight eight ten twelve eight nine eight gun numbers eight gun right eight gun numbers eight gun numbers call [SPEAKER_02]: Colin, we had this really fun and cookie idea where we were like, what if, because I, and I haven't done this yet, but you've already heard this, but I need to write a previously on, because this is like a new arc.

[SPEAKER_02]: Welcome to the new arc, by the way, new arc. [SPEAKER_03]: I have to do a previously on. [SPEAKER_02]: Those are hard to write. [SPEAKER_02]: We already heard it in this episode, but it was really good game. [SPEAKER_02]: It was really great. [SPEAKER_01]: in the effort showed you were like sweating and crying.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's sort of seem like maybe you recorded it on my actual birthday and you were in view with some sort of birthday mania. [SPEAKER_03]: Wow, it really seemed like that. [SPEAKER_02]: I can't wait for that to happen soon. [SPEAKER_02]: But but that hasn't happened anyway. [SPEAKER_02]: Could you guys please call 7 7 3 6 6.

[SPEAKER_02]: Uh gun. [SPEAKER_02]: Can you please call that number and give your previous slion of what's happened? [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, give your previously on we want to hear it. [SPEAKER_03]: What's happening on the show? [SPEAKER_03]: Can you please tell us what's happened so far? [SPEAKER_03]: It's also a test to see if you've been paying attention.

[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, look there. [SPEAKER_03]: I said it there. [SPEAKER_01]: But try and keep it like look seven to eight minutes. [SPEAKER_01]: If imagine imagine if like this is it wrong if even eight people sent these in and each of them are five minutes long. [SPEAKER_01]: Do you know how much commitment that is guys?

[SPEAKER_01]: The shorter the better. [SPEAKER_01]: The shorter you get bonus points. [SPEAKER_01]: It's like a [SPEAKER_01]: that is constantly shrinking per second. [SPEAKER_01]: So the faster and more concise you can make your charming little previously on for us to listen to the better. [SPEAKER_01]: My god, a high coup, a high coup previously on.

[SPEAKER_00]: Wow. [SPEAKER_00]: Wow. [SPEAKER_00]: But if you do end up rattling on for [SPEAKER_00]: 12 to 18 minutes. [SPEAKER_00]: I will listen to the whole thing and then I will fall asleep and have a sweet sweet dream. [SPEAKER_00]: I will listen and I will stay awake because I will be editing presumably.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, so don't just mail episode. [SPEAKER_03]: But I will hit you with the time's three speed modifier and give you that album in the chipmunk treatment. [SPEAKER_02]: And I'll say if it's a high coup, you got to make it really good because I've read a lot of high [SPEAKER_02]: You know, we've all read a lot of, like, not real ones.

[SPEAKER_03]: You read my high coup diaries. [SPEAKER_03]: Is that how you read a lot of your high coup diaries? [SPEAKER_03]: Oh my goodness. [SPEAKER_03]: You're talking about how much I have lots of from my birthday, but with only certain small amount of words and several counts. [SPEAKER_00]: For your birthday, do you also want people to sign up to the gutter Patreon?

[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, I do. [SPEAKER_01]: That's what I. [SPEAKER_01]: You got to eat your birthday vegetables where you have your birthday. [SPEAKER_01]: You're right. [SPEAKER_03]: He says don't worry about it And I think we need a new account But we could talk about that later. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, talk about firing Bertrand [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I'm not very stressed.

[SPEAKER_01]: Whenever we whenever we bring that up to him though, he tells us not to worry about it and we go, yay. [SPEAKER_03]: Yay. [SPEAKER_03]: He loves not worry. [SPEAKER_03]: He says don't worry about that kiddin' and we got it. [SPEAKER_03]: Daddy's guys has to go look at some spreadsheets.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, speaking of which Bertrand is calling now. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, he says. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, he got in the huge accident. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, oh my gosh. [SPEAKER_00]: He got in a huge accident. [SPEAKER_01]: That's Bertrand's wife. [SPEAKER_01]: That's not even him because he's in the hospital.

[SPEAKER_03]: I have to be fucking burnt. [SPEAKER_02]: We're going to be celebrating his death. [SPEAKER_02]: That's what he does.

[SPEAKER_00]: You signed Bertrand. [SPEAKER_01]: You signed some papers. [SPEAKER_01]: We signed some papers that had some real bad, fine print.

[SPEAKER_01]: Deal with what the devil. [SPEAKER_03]: Why did you guys sign my birthday card? [SPEAKER_03]: No one fucking signed it yet. [SPEAKER_03]: I just have been passing it around. [SPEAKER_03]: We're gonna do that after we signed it. [SPEAKER_00]: Get well card for Bertrand. [SPEAKER_03]: Not damn it.

[SPEAKER_03]: Bertrand gets everything, listener. [SPEAKER_03]: Goodbye. [SPEAKER_03]: Goodbye. [SPEAKER_01]: Mike, it can't make your birthday party because I'm going to Bertrand's funeral. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm so sorry. [SPEAKER_03]: That's fine. [SPEAKER_03]: That's fine. [SPEAKER_00]: My god, I want to cigarette so bad.

[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, uh, let's go. [SPEAKER_03]: You got those clean lungs too from the horn. [SPEAKER_03]: Yes. [SPEAKER_03]: Did we when I blew the horn the last time? [SPEAKER_03]: Again, and um, did that affect us at all? [SPEAKER_02]: You are, you have actually been thinking about the horn this entire time.

[SPEAKER_02]: So you guys are like walking up to the door now. [SPEAKER_03]: Get ready for the lead. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it crumbled in your hand, Otter, and you remember feeling like watching it like flow way, but there was like a little bit of dust and it was almost like it sort of was sinking, I don't know, it was like lotion or something, just sort of like, eventually like just sort of was just gone, but it didn't seem to float away, it seemed to go into you, maybe, and you're like, kind of been holding that to yourself like, am I fucked or something?

[SPEAKER_02]: And as you're walking around the house, you do notice drawing out of the side of the cabin. [SPEAKER_02]: You see a colorful mushroom. [SPEAKER_02]: And you really want to eat it, really bad. [SPEAKER_02]: It's just a little colorful mushroom that's popped out. [SPEAKER_02]: And you're like, I need to eat that.

[SPEAKER_03]: You guys go, you guys go ahead. [SPEAKER_03]: I just got to tie my shoe real quick. [SPEAKER_03]: I'll meet up with you. [SPEAKER_02]: You popped down and you just popped a little mushroom in your mouth. [UNKNOWN]: Oh. [SPEAKER_03]: All right, ready to go. [SPEAKER_02]: Um, how is it taste like roll?

[SPEAKER_02]: I'll say I'm gonna roll one before for ya. [SPEAKER_02]: Like it tastes, it tastes really nice. [SPEAKER_02]: It's like, it's like, it's like, it's like the coolest, most refreshing water, but in like a physical chewy form. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: And you eat it and you recover three health points.

[SPEAKER_03]: Whoa, you guys don't know about that. [SPEAKER_02]: Do you guys don't know that's called otters secret? [SPEAKER_01]: You just you you didn't you're like, oh Awesome Did that's otters sacred he's the by the way ever time they say secret they do a little V for victory slash peace sign That's right [SPEAKER_03]: See you then.

[SPEAKER_03]: Um, and if I have overflow HP, then you just get to full. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm just that full. [SPEAKER_02]: You guys are also really, really tired and really hungry. [SPEAKER_01]: I'll take, I'll take the sparrage pee. [SPEAKER_01]: My ass is at five. [SPEAKER_01]: Don't you?

[SPEAKER_03]: You can regurgitate them to my room soon at the rest, because that's called out our secret. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm mad a gaming. [SPEAKER_03]: Okay. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, maybe you can blow a horn that disintegrates to your hand and makes it so that mushrooms heal you instead of make you sick.

[SPEAKER_03]: We open the door. [SPEAKER_03]: What are you asking? [SPEAKER_03]: Okay. [SPEAKER_01]: Do you water? [SPEAKER_01]: You want me to blow your horn? [SPEAKER_03]: Well, we all know how horny you've been since we got here. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, that's because you said I was. [SPEAKER_01]: And I took that gift with pride.

[SPEAKER_01]: So Scratch met a game in again. [SPEAKER_01]: We're all met a game in. [SPEAKER_03]: And we're at the front door. [SPEAKER_03]: Great. [SPEAKER_02]: Opens? [SPEAKER_02]: Crack a doodle do this to sound of the door. [SPEAKER_03]: That's a group. [SPEAKER_02]: You're hit immediately by the smell of mothballs.

[SPEAKER_02]: A burnt wood mill do. [SPEAKER_02]: The morning light from the outside is sort of trickling in, but it pitch black in there. [SPEAKER_02]: It's totally pitch dark. [SPEAKER_02]: But from what you can see from the light behind you, everything seems to be covered in a thick film of dust. [SPEAKER_02]: You step into the building just a little bit, and the floor feels like it's covered in sawdust.

[SPEAKER_02]: Looking closer. [SPEAKER_02]: You can see actually it's the detritus of countless dead moths. [SPEAKER_02]: It's it's really dark, but you do see there's a solar powered lamp hanging from the ceiling. [SPEAKER_02]: Someone let's say who's the first to go in. [SPEAKER_02]: Thank you. [SPEAKER_02]: Okay, so you're looking around.

[SPEAKER_02]: You don't see anyone. [SPEAKER_02]: You don't see any danger. [SPEAKER_02]: You walk at me turn on the light. [SPEAKER_02]: With the lights on, you can see the inside of the cabin. [SPEAKER_02]: You can see that there is a rustic wood burning oven. [SPEAKER_02]: You can see a man made chest storage chest and a kitchen table with two chairs and a shotgun.

[SPEAKER_02]: A pump shotgun propped up against it. [SPEAKER_02]: You can see that there is a ladder. [SPEAKER_02]: that leads to a loft and a pull-up door in the back left corner of the room that seems to lead to a seller. [SPEAKER_02]: The Western Wall of this A-frame, however, is really what catches your eye.

[SPEAKER_02]: It is covered in a confusing web of printed images and images torn from magazines and torn from books, torn pamphlets, and it just a general lunatic scroll linked by red threads. [SPEAKER_02]: classic conspiracy style wall. [SPEAKER_02]: You guys are feeling also probably pretty chilly right now.

[SPEAKER_00]: Violet, once everyone has kind of stepped inside, Violet goes back to the open door and just kind of does opens and closes the door. [SPEAKER_00]: I like to fan it out to try to like get some air flow in this place. [SPEAKER_01]: Scratch was like kicking moth carcasses out the door, the open door.

[SPEAKER_03]: Is there is there a visible [SPEAKER_03]: No visible bathroom. [SPEAKER_03]: All right, Otter is looking for a bathroom. [SPEAKER_03]: So he's just going to pull down the step ladder. [SPEAKER_02]: The ladder. [SPEAKER_02]: Okay. [SPEAKER_02]: So you pull down the step ladder and you go up and you upstairs.

[SPEAKER_02]: You can see this is where he would sleep. [SPEAKER_02]: It's an old sleeping bag is here and a caught with a creaky mattress. [SPEAKER_02]: you can tell because you put your hand on it and go, you also find a messy pile of vintage hyperspecific porno mags and a dirty half full jar of Vaseline.

[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, hyperspecific? [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, what are they? [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, it is sort of like a Tarzan porn. [SPEAKER_03]: Like it's like, like Tarzan and Jane, like kind of like models and but like from like the 60s Sort of like like a like a strong like a strong man from like a carnival kind of Yeah, one of those guys who just like before they invented abs just had those big broad flat chest A little bit of a chest hair and there's like a he has like a big waxed curly mustache and then there's like a lady like [SPEAKER_03]: like wild hair and she also.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's sort of like Flintstones porn, I guess, as I, as I circle around the issue, it's Flintstones porn. [SPEAKER_02]: Jane meets the jungle wild man. [SPEAKER_02]: The, the, the, the making wippy stones. [SPEAKER_02]: They're making Wippie songs in front of the bar. [SPEAKER_02]: They didn't say anything.

[SPEAKER_02]: They can say fuck back then. [SPEAKER_02]: So it's called the Making Wippie stuff. [SPEAKER_03]: And it's the other thing for a second. [SPEAKER_03]: As he's looking at this, he thinks of Bodhi who is sort of like one of the, the Tarzan, like caveman type people in his life. [SPEAKER_03]: And he remembers that he is still looking for his friend.

[SPEAKER_03]: Just quietly says a small prayer that BODY is safe wherever he is, and also all the people of Black Fork. [SPEAKER_00]: The things porn can really bring out of us, you know, the motions and the sadness. [SPEAKER_03]: And then Otter puts all of the magazines in his, uh, satchel, because these are valuable.

[SPEAKER_03]: And if I ever do get back to Crapyard, uh, we can actually make quite a pretty penny off these. [SPEAKER_01]: And he knows if he lives him up there with scratch the way he is. [SPEAKER_01]: He's got a ruin all. [SPEAKER_02]: Keep his animal away from that crap. [SPEAKER_01]: So there's no bathroom though.

[SPEAKER_02]: No bathroom. [SPEAKER_03]: All right, otters. [SPEAKER_03]: Funk Funk Funk. [SPEAKER_03]: How about the seller? [SPEAKER_02]: Okay, you walk on over to the seller. [SPEAKER_02]: Vy, you crack open the seller door. [SPEAKER_02]: you pull up the door and you climb on down, there's a little ladder, you climb on down, you see shelves and shelves of hundreds of canned goods, but most of them appear to be full of black goo.

[SPEAKER_02]: But at the very end of this of this dark, but small seller, you see a very, very large safe. [SPEAKER_02]: Ooh! [SPEAKER_02]: See, would you know what kind of safe it is? [SPEAKER_02]: From your experience. [SPEAKER_00]: Hmm. [SPEAKER_03]: I wouldn't, but otter might, with a praisele. [SPEAKER_02]: Otter might, with a praisele.

[SPEAKER_03]: Don't tell otter to use a praisele. [SPEAKER_03]: He only wanted to size when to use a praisele, which is every other time. [SPEAKER_00]: every other time for the things that aren't actually frozen locksmith I I have a level 26 for locksmith so I might be able to like do stuff. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I mean if I get a castle locksmith it will show us if it is and then if you if you fail auto roll be down soon enough because he's still looking for that bathroom TTRPGs are just so that you can go to the bathroom in different cool places that you couldn't normally go to in real life.

[SPEAKER_02]: Rule for bathroom rule for piss and crapping and peeing pooping. [SPEAKER_02]: We did something we love to do every day. [SPEAKER_00]: Gold and shit! [SPEAKER_00]: I failed, but I could spend luck to win, right? [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if you want to spend a lot of, well, it's a meta gaming.

[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if it's worth a lot of stuff. [SPEAKER_00]: I just currently have my maximum luck. [SPEAKER_03]: can honor just kind of tell what kind of uh... but they didn't know what kind of safe it is one he can all shouldn't just so that i can maybe help yeah finally is on their island yeah yeah okay so orders there are not made a big sound when i saw the safe yeah everybody still and also this was a logical next place to look for a bathroom also [SPEAKER_03]: There wasn't a bathroom out back and there's not a bathroom in this a frame.

[SPEAKER_03]: They just piss in the woods. [SPEAKER_01]: Did it burn down? [SPEAKER_03]: Maybe it's an out-up sound down. [SPEAKER_03]: Could it burn down? [SPEAKER_03]: Could it burn down? [SPEAKER_03]: Good idea. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, let's take a look at that. [SPEAKER_03]: Hmm. [SPEAKER_03]: Now, that's a safe And it's safe to say I don't know what that is Never seen that kind of safe before.

[SPEAKER_03]: I'm gonna go outside and take a crap in the woods. [SPEAKER_03]: Don't tell anyone [SPEAKER_01]: Well, while they were doing that, Scratch knew that he couldn't help it all. [SPEAKER_01]: So he opened one of the jars and the shelf and took a big whiff. [SPEAKER_02]: Okay, smells rotten.

[SPEAKER_02]: Ooh, like rotten food or rotten food. [SPEAKER_01]: Rotten, yeah, food. [SPEAKER_01]: Dude, yeah, that'd be like a rotten attitude. [SPEAKER_02]: I met rotten like is maybe your dude has become rotten from smelling the rotten Yeah, who play it work work with that? [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah He's free on it.

[SPEAKER_03]: I'll just outside pooping in a snow bank. [SPEAKER_03]: Okay. [SPEAKER_02]: It feels I don't know. [SPEAKER_02]: You're like it's I feeling like when you've been awake for two days straight And I'm eating anything, but the more you feel in kind of hot, oh, but the mushroom did eat that fucking monster It makes you look good actually.

[SPEAKER_02]: They don't know, but you're like I'm actually kind of fucking full right now I'm feeling [SPEAKER_03]: And Otter goes and he takes an old like um from one of those magazines that he put in a Satchel there's like uh enter this weeps takes and he like takes that out to go wipe and it's clean It's a clean.

[SPEAKER_03]: There's no Because the mushroom got him so right it was the perfect poop and regular Otter feels so good [SPEAKER_00]: Violet is staring at the safe, staring at the safe, and then it's like, oh, I gotta talk to those cat burglars again. [SPEAKER_00]: Um, cat burglars! [SPEAKER_01]: Uh, just to be clear, we are not.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, French cat burglars, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no [SPEAKER_00]: and the other one.

[SPEAKER_03]: I was here. [SPEAKER_03]: I was also French and actually I was killed for lying and false accusations for people and spreading libel. [SPEAKER_03]: I guess the other burglar he happened to be a racist. [SPEAKER_01]: I am not. [SPEAKER_01]: That's why he disappeared because he had guilt.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, and I had no guilt. [SPEAKER_01]: But we, no. [SPEAKER_03]: You know, I don't even know these guys. [SPEAKER_03]: Sure. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, so you're even know each other. [SPEAKER_03]: I am just friends. [SPEAKER_00]: I am friends. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm family friends. [SPEAKER_01]: By accident, these aren't.

[SPEAKER_00]: Your accent is like, uh, comes and goes. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, you should have been, you're the only one with a good real French accent. [SPEAKER_03]: But yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: Wait, did you get a guidri-save? [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: I am familiar. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, I'm not even a cat bug, man.

[SPEAKER_03]: A guidri-save? [SPEAKER_03]: I guidri-save my grandpa used to put me inside of it when I misbehaved. [SPEAKER_03]: So, how do I over it? [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_03]: I don't even know. [SPEAKER_03]: I only know how to open from the inside. [SPEAKER_03]: But, wait, I am back!

[SPEAKER_02]: I just, I have just clocked back from none of the systems to go as there's this question for you. [SPEAKER_00]: This, please. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, to get into a safe like this. [SPEAKER_00]: Do you have the key? [SPEAKER_00]: Eee, I have the front door key. [SPEAKER_00]: Does it fit in the safe?

[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, I didn't try it. [SPEAKER_00]: Try it. [SPEAKER_02]: I try it. [SPEAKER_02]: It doesn't fit. [SPEAKER_00]: No, I don't have the key. [SPEAKER_02]: I don't fucking know, I don't know. [SPEAKER_00]: Is it, but there's something I'm getting sucked back into now. [SPEAKER_00]: No, it's just... That's all right.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's all right. [SPEAKER_00]: I have a feeling I won't need to talk to any of you after today. [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know, we might become important characters in your life. [SPEAKER_03]: Maybe. [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe. [SPEAKER_00]: You never know. [SPEAKER_01]: What is my butt? [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, because the French people do that.

[SPEAKER_01]: He is from Vichy France. [SPEAKER_01]: I think they would say this guy was a Nazi. [SPEAKER_01]: What? [SPEAKER_03]: What? [SPEAKER_03]: What? [SPEAKER_03]: What? [SPEAKER_03]: What? [SPEAKER_02]: Violet killing 90 year old Ben. [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, he was a Nazi. [SPEAKER_01]: Why, what is my look picking skill?

[SPEAKER_02]: What is your locker your skill? [SPEAKER_01]: A pigment? [SPEAKER_00]: As a kid. [SPEAKER_00]: A potential figment. [SPEAKER_00]: A hundred. [SPEAKER_00]: Maximum. [SPEAKER_02]: It's a ring. [SPEAKER_02]: I'll let you roll again. [SPEAKER_02]: I'll let you roll 25. [SPEAKER_03]: Now, okay.

[SPEAKER_03]: Because we know it's a weedry safe. [SPEAKER_03]: Because we know it's a weedry. [SPEAKER_03]: All right. [SPEAKER_03]: Now, here's what you need to do. [SPEAKER_00]: Here's what you need to do. [SPEAKER_03]: Now, um... [SPEAKER_01]: Now, now, here's what you're going to need to do, okay?

[SPEAKER_00]: I got better this time, but still didn't pass, 33, and I made a 25 to be successful. [SPEAKER_03]: Let me take control for one second. [SPEAKER_03]: Do you let me take control? [SPEAKER_03]: Let you take control? [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, now hold on. [SPEAKER_01]: He touches the stage and he opens the tank.

[SPEAKER_01]: We can't process violent. [SPEAKER_01]: He's rolling, he's actually rolling, you're not. [SPEAKER_03]: It was a bad roll, don't we? [SPEAKER_02]: So Violet all of a sudden starts like her eyes roll back. [SPEAKER_02]: She starts quivering and shaking Scratch is like, oh my god, what's going on?

[SPEAKER_02]: What's going on? [SPEAKER_02]: And then and then all of a sudden This is a glintry safe and then and then and then you touch the safe Yes, and then and then and then your eyes roll back again and then boom your back. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god [SPEAKER_00]: What the fuck is wrong with you?

[SPEAKER_00]: You just broke out all my friends. [SPEAKER_01]: Hey, by the way, that was a really good French accent. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, thank you. [SPEAKER_01]: Thanks for the fun little accent you did. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, thanks. [SPEAKER_01]: Is it because the name of the safest French? [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_00]: Weirdries. [SPEAKER_00]: Amen. [SPEAKER_01]: Let me go to the trailer and get some of my tools. [SPEAKER_01]: We can probably drill out the handle. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, you know what the guy had? [SPEAKER_00]: The Swiss Army knife. [SPEAKER_00]: What if one of these attachments is the key?

[SPEAKER_00]: And Vile starts opening all the attack. [SPEAKER_02]: There's the tweezers. [SPEAKER_02]: There's the scissors. [SPEAKER_02]: There's the little knife. [SPEAKER_02]: There's a little army man. [SPEAKER_02]: He's smiling. [SPEAKER_02]: But no key. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I just thought the keys got to be somewhere in the car.

[SPEAKER_01]: Are you okay? [SPEAKER_01]: Well, then by all means keep searching. [SPEAKER_02]: Well, get the guys out. [SPEAKER_03]: But I'll certainly need a power drill. [SPEAKER_00]: Scratch makes a bid to do anything. [SPEAKER_00]: So get the power drill I'm so horny and then I have a bad tooth.

[SPEAKER_01]: I got a bad tooth. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I got a bad tooth Why don't you go in the going the Go in the camper get the drill and you know the trail. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not gonna that was fire I'm not gonna do that until you guys are asleep. [SPEAKER_01]: Hey. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm asleep. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm gonna [SPEAKER_03]: But I just sleep, don't wake her.

[SPEAKER_03]: I'm gonna look at all the food because I think maybe not all of this rotten is rotten And I can prepare something great. [SPEAKER_03]: I can I can do a lot with a little great. [SPEAKER_02]: Give me a spot ahead Or or or or it's hit. [SPEAKER_02]: Okay, okay, okay, so immediately you're looking and you see you see a can a Pickled beats it says pickled beats on it utter hates pickled bits.

[SPEAKER_03]: He doesn't say anything [SPEAKER_02]: You look over at the next one and there's a can, there's a jar, a mason jar of pickled chicken feet. [SPEAKER_03]: Okay. [SPEAKER_03]: I love chicken feet. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm pickled beats. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm going to make some chicken feet. [SPEAKER_00]: Is that all there is, really?

[SPEAKER_03]: No, there's pickled beats. [SPEAKER_03]: Okay. [SPEAKER_00]: I'll just eat that straight out of the can. [SPEAKER_03]: Hey, look at the next one and it says pickled meats. [SPEAKER_03]: And then the next one says pickled sweets. [SPEAKER_03]: It is for some reason. [SPEAKER_03]: Pickled teats.

[SPEAKER_03]: Whoa, everything here rhymes, but he grabs the pickled beats and the pickled chicken feats and he goes upstairs. [SPEAKER_03]: Great. [SPEAKER_03]: Clean, clean, clean, clean. [SPEAKER_02]: Your upstairs, your upstairs in, in the room. [SPEAKER_02]: And again, since you don't get to see what I see, you're standing in this dark room with this dim light.

[SPEAKER_02]: You're seeing a wood burning oven. [SPEAKER_02]: That is not on a chest kitchen table. [SPEAKER_02]: But the shotgun propped up against it, the ladder that leads up. [SPEAKER_02]: The ladder that leads down and a big old conspiracy wall. [SPEAKER_03]: Opening the chest really quick before we go back downstairs.

[SPEAKER_02]: You open the chest, you see inside the chest is a toolbox, a little tiny book that looks like a journal. [SPEAKER_02]: Some folded up blue tarp, we love that. [SPEAKER_02]: Some clothes that smell really bad. [SPEAKER_02]: There's a yellow bucket that seems to have some water in it, and there's a cooler.

[SPEAKER_03]: Hey guys, found a journal, found a toolbox, found some stinky clothes, found a tarp. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm right behind you. [SPEAKER_03]: Found another couple of things in there too. [SPEAKER_03]: Come check this out. [SPEAKER_03]: I think if we're going to open this journal, we should all be together.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, let's open the journal. [SPEAKER_03]: From the vantage point of the journal, it's illuminated as we all three of us look at the journal. [SPEAKER_03]: You look at the journal and read the first page. [SPEAKER_02]: The first page only has four words. [SPEAKER_02]: There is a light.

[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, what else next page? [SPEAKER_02]: Nothing next page. [SPEAKER_02]: Nothing next page. [SPEAKER_00]: Nothing next. [SPEAKER_00]: Random page ran a page later. [SPEAKER_00]: If we were to see a random page enough. [SPEAKER_00]: Uh last page. [SPEAKER_00]: Nothing. [SPEAKER_00]: Guys.

[SPEAKER_00]: Any any pages tucked in to the journal? [UNKNOWN]: No. [SPEAKER_01]: I got this guys. [SPEAKER_01]: I got this. [SPEAKER_01]: I got this. [SPEAKER_01]: Scratcha he goes ahead and um he gets that fire started. [SPEAKER_02]: Okay. [SPEAKER_02]: So you go you go over the oven and you know how do you know how to start a fire?

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Scratch would do lots of fire pits in Ohio or like fire like fireworks and stuff like that. [SPEAKER_02]: Ohio a racial advantage or whatever you ask. [SPEAKER_02]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_02]: I can't remember the word is the the works of this. [SPEAKER_02]: Ohio wins have special Ohio powers.

[SPEAKER_01]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_03]: They can start a fire out of anything. [SPEAKER_01]: But he also, like, scratch has always kept with him, you know, basic, like an inventor's kit kind of thing in his backpack. [SPEAKER_02]: So he has a fire starter, little ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch-ch [SPEAKER_02]: kind of glance at the paper.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, scratch pulls it out because he wants to make sure it's on damp. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's not damp. [SPEAKER_02]: Well, actually, he's a dream. [SPEAKER_02]: It's not damp. [SPEAKER_02]: It's just been sitting in there, but he does examine it. [SPEAKER_02]: You do examine it. [SPEAKER_02]: You see, it's like the letters, or it's not like letters.

[SPEAKER_02]: It's pieces of paper that seem very official. [SPEAKER_02]: They look very scary. [SPEAKER_02]: Like the kind of paper you don't want to see plastered on your door. [SPEAKER_02]: It's saying things like, final notice, setceter, and big red font. [SPEAKER_02]: If back you ate your illegal domicile before we take action, something something from from a firm called tafford and Sullivan.

[SPEAKER_01]: Does anything ring a bell for the kind of stuff I would hear about like warp evacuations and stuff like that? [SPEAKER_01]: Is there anything you can roll for that knowledge, Janet? [SPEAKER_03]: Like a... Also the legal things do the legal things have addresses that show the state. [SPEAKER_02]: Ooh, that's a really good point.

[SPEAKER_02]: You see that a taffered and soul have been courtesy of Carcosa technologies, vis-a-vis mining pursuits. [SPEAKER_02]: You see there is an address that is San Francisco California. [SPEAKER_01]: Hmm, guys, this, um, these papers here that he was not a fan of, so he tried to use him as Kindling, uh, but from San Francisco, but that's obviously not where we are, but they were trying to like evict him.

[SPEAKER_01]: They're saying his domicile was illegal or something. [SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if that's because the controlled burner. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it seems you're looking it over. [SPEAKER_02]: It seems like there's something to do with mining nearby and they're claiming that domicile is illegal and needs to be [SPEAKER_02]: I am expressing all this as for their permitted mining practices.

[SPEAKER_02]: These guys are representing a company called Carcose Technology. [SPEAKER_03]: Now, they could be based in San Francisco and maybe that's just not near us, but are we on Mount Shasta? [SPEAKER_03]: Outer Sniffs and Smell tries to smell the Shasta. [SPEAKER_03]: Smells nice. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, it doesn't.

[SPEAKER_02]: It smells bad smells like a bunch of dead moths. [SPEAKER_02]: Smells like dead moths. [SPEAKER_00]: Don't you guys think it's kind of weird that we went through a big moth to come here to this place full of dead moths? [SPEAKER_00]: Now we got this note saying there's a light. [SPEAKER_00]: It's like a light in the moths.

[SPEAKER_01]: Well, once I get a, let me, I don't want to burn this because this could be useful. [SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, scratch you're getting a fire going. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I've got a fire, yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: It's warming up. [SPEAKER_02]: It's warming up. [SPEAKER_01]: And so the fire was going, and he's like, hear him in that notebook real quick.

[SPEAKER_01]: I want to check something out. [SPEAKER_01]: Thank you, Gannon, who handed it to me an object work. [SPEAKER_03]: Just really quick while scratch is doing that. [SPEAKER_03]: Outer's just going to go to the car and bring some of our stuff in. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, because it seems like we're getting a little cozy, right?

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: Outer keep bringing my tools too. [SPEAKER_03]: Tools, violet, anything? [SPEAKER_00]: Uh, maybe tie bugger to the tree. [SPEAKER_00]: I'll tie bugger to the tree. [SPEAKER_02]: Maybe I should otter so you so you go and out and you're you're getting some gear.

[SPEAKER_02]: Do you tie otter to it or Do you tie bugger to the tree? [SPEAKER_02]: Do you tie gutter to the tree? [SPEAKER_03]: Otter rolls his eyes has like I'm not gonna tie but then he's like I would feel really bad if bugger flew off [SPEAKER_03]: I will tie Bugger to the tree, so Otter takes the toolbox, he takes the extra bag that he has, which has Dorinda's objects of power in them, because don't want to leave that in the car, and then Otter just pulls out a...

[SPEAKER_03]: 30 foot length of rope from his bag and a pats booger like a horse and says Sorry if this is not necessary, but we just don't want anything worse to happen then it's already happened to us so [SPEAKER_02]: What's that from Booger? [SPEAKER_02]: You could have sworn you just heard a weird noise come from Booger.

[SPEAKER_01]: Booger. [SPEAKER_01]: Booger. [SPEAKER_01]: Booger. [SPEAKER_01]: Booger. [SPEAKER_01]: Booger. [SPEAKER_03]: Hey, no! [SPEAKER_03]: Hey, man! [SPEAKER_03]: Okay, I'm... [SPEAKER_03]: hotter ties the rope to the steering wheel then closes the door so that it's a non-sensical situation but it's like the steering wheel has the rope tied to it and then it's tied around the trunk of one of these bear trees.

[SPEAKER_01]: And it comes back in to see you come back in to see scratch. [SPEAKER_01]: holding the first page of the book that has the text on it just next to the fire so that the heat would reveal any hidden writing that sometimes people do you can do with like lemon juice or different chemicals or whatever and he does that one after the other on each of the blank pages as well kind of slowly seeing if there is any if the light of the fire reveals anything.

[SPEAKER_01]: it might also reveal etchines if certain pages were like torn or something like that. [SPEAKER_01]: I didn't hit on it directly, but I'm like sitting here praying for a pity a pity win from dad. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm like a pity win from dad. [SPEAKER_00]: It could we'll keep trying something else, too.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's not it. [SPEAKER_02]: No, no, no, you don't see anything. [SPEAKER_02]: You don't see anything. [SPEAKER_01]: Uh, well, if that had been right, I mean, you would be like, well, scratch. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, well. [SPEAKER_00]: Violet takes the notebook while making eye contact with scratch and slowly takes the notebook.

[SPEAKER_00]: And it's like, give me 15 minutes. [SPEAKER_00]: And then Violet climbs up to the loft with the notebook. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay. [SPEAKER_00]: You're in the loft with the notebook. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: Other search cooking. [SPEAKER_03]: Pickled beats and pickled beats. [SPEAKER_00]: And Violet is just trying to quiet their mind and is looking at this notebook.

[SPEAKER_00]: page one, there is a light. [SPEAKER_00]: There is a light. [SPEAKER_00]: There is a light. [SPEAKER_00]: I was just thinking about the Mariah Carey cover. [SPEAKER_00]: There's a lad in here, and that's not relevant. [SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, picks up a pencil, and puts it to the page. [SPEAKER_00]: And Violet closes their eyes, and is trying to concentrate on, like, if anything will come out and just starts kind of scribbling.

[SPEAKER_00]: Give me a power rule. [SPEAKER_00]: Hot hit. [SPEAKER_00]: I got a 13 in my golden hit as 12, so. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, so. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm so close. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay. [SPEAKER_01]: Make it a golden hit. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, gold hit hit. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay. [SPEAKER_01]: So you are scribbling away upstairs.

[SPEAKER_02]: You're absolutely in the zone. [SPEAKER_02]: You're not even looking at the paper. [SPEAKER_02]: You could just feel your wrist flicking and moving like it has a mind of its own. [SPEAKER_02]: Downstairs, I'm throwing you a bone. [SPEAKER_02]: There was a cooler inside of the, there was a bunch of shit in that chest.

[SPEAKER_02]: There was a cooler that had some beef jerky in it. [SPEAKER_02]: So you guys just found that maybe you're, you're, you're, you're chowing down on a little bit of that. [SPEAKER_02]: And in your eyes catch the conspiracy wall, where he has all this weird stuff written on them. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_02]: And you do notice a map on the wall. [SPEAKER_02]: It is a map of California and you can see there's a little red house like marked right in the area that's marked as Donner Pass and he has like a little square drawn around the path yeah Donner Pass like he has a square like or he has a weird barrier sort of like drawn around it and he has a bunch of like writing and red of uh he has a little a little map of the immediate area in this on that on that map of California [SPEAKER_01]: Scratch looking over your shoulder before you actually read it.

[SPEAKER_01]: Just kind of kept it down the past It's not work. [SPEAKER_01]: Is that where all those people are eating each other? [SPEAKER_03]: Otter is familiar with the story of Donner Pass and he says, Yeah, well, isn't is Donner Pass is that Donner Pass and is that Donner Pass and is that Donner Pass and is that Donner Already the Donner Party?

[SPEAKER_01]: It's just different. [SPEAKER_01]: Is it just by chance? [SPEAKER_00]: No idea. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, I guess what let's really buddy had this I see how it looks. [SPEAKER_02]: Let's jump back up to violet upstairs your wrist is going crazy. [SPEAKER_02]: You've put your pen down And you you look at what you've illustrated You drew a big mountain with a hole in it You drew several geometrical shapes sort of with lines showing it's coming out of the mountain [SPEAKER_02]: below the geometrical objects being shot out of the mountain.

[SPEAKER_02]: There is a big sort of like oblong beam shape or a squiggle or like a spot of water that you've drawn. [SPEAKER_02]: It looks like like a geometrical thing as you've seen from above, but you're not sure exactly what it is. [SPEAKER_02]: And there's a dot in the center of it. [SPEAKER_02]: Mm-hmm.

[SPEAKER_02]: But above the mountain, you drew a very detailed moth. [SPEAKER_02]: And above the moth is a circle with lines coming out of it, like a light. [SPEAKER_00]: Violet sees this picture. [SPEAKER_00]: Uh, what the fuck is this? [SPEAKER_00]: And rather than showing it to anyone, scurries down the ladder.

[SPEAKER_00]: Don't put them, don't put them. [SPEAKER_03]: Violet, we got food here and more than that. [SPEAKER_03]: We got a map! [SPEAKER_00]: Nice! [SPEAKER_00]: Give me one second, and Violet runs outside, and it holds up the journal to the sun, and it's holding it up to the sun. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm on the mountain, there's a sun, there's a moth, there's a moth in the light, and there's looking at the journal, and it's like, expecting something to happen, is this anything happen?

[SPEAKER_02]: Nothing happened. [SPEAKER_02]: You hear I, huge! [SPEAKER_02]: From right beside you, you look over at Bugger and it's like, Bugger briefly, like, crouched on its wheels. [SPEAKER_02]: Like, it just like got low and went. [SPEAKER_02]: Buh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh-uh- [SPEAKER_02]: up at the top of that mountain.

[SPEAKER_02]: You see, wrestling snow, shaking the trees, birds flying into the sky. [SPEAKER_02]: The mountain starts to rumble and you see a wave of snow tumbling down the mountain with a terrible size and speed and it is coming here away. [SPEAKER_00]: Uh-oh, you guys! [SPEAKER_03]: Okay, I feel like other inscratch come pouring out.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we're immediately looking at the source of the average. [SPEAKER_03]: And looking at Bouger, it's Bouger, like Bouger is, like, answered from more Fizing right now, or... No, Bouger is now still. [SPEAKER_02]: It just crawls for a second moment. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, crashing now, it's just normal.

[SPEAKER_02]: You look at it and it's just normal. [SPEAKER_00]: It was normal. [SPEAKER_00]: It wasn't normal. [SPEAKER_00]: Before we got to get out of here, don't we got to get inside? [SPEAKER_00]: Violet looks down at Bouger. [SPEAKER_00]: It's just Bouger. [SPEAKER_00]: Stay. [SPEAKER_00]: Stay.

[SPEAKER_00]: And then runs into the house. [SPEAKER_00]: And we slam the door. [SPEAKER_03]: Come on. [SPEAKER_03]: And we, I, in the seller, I guess, I don't know where we're going down. [SPEAKER_02]: You guys clamber down to the seller, it's very dark down there. [SPEAKER_02]: You guys are all together and you just hear the rumbling and shaking.

[SPEAKER_02]: You hear this big, and you feel like a collision with the house and just the heaviness of that. [SPEAKER_02]: Oh my god, you guys, we're holding hands, you're holding hands, you're looking at each other, eyes, eyes, eyes, eyes, looking to get each other. [SPEAKER_03]: You guys, I ate a mushroom outside and made me feel good.
