[SPEAKER_00]: Hello and welcome to the home Mrs. and podcast. [SPEAKER_00]: My name is Phil and joining me as usual. [SPEAKER_00]: I've got a run with me tagling that. [SPEAKER_00]: Hey, good, how are you? [SPEAKER_00]: Very good, thank you. [SPEAKER_00]: We're going to break down the 2026.2 release today.

[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to catch up on CES 206. [SPEAKER_00]: It's been a big month. [SPEAKER_00]: I think this is also a big release. [SPEAKER_00]: So try and get officially through this episode as best we can. [SPEAKER_00]: But of course, before we do this podcast is sponsored [SPEAKER_00]: For some more monthly fare, you'll unlock powerful features, like secure, effortless access to a system from anywhere, which works of voice assistance, off-site backups, and more.

[SPEAKER_00]: They're all configurable in the UI, and there's no YAML needed. [SPEAKER_00]: It also supports the development of home assistant, ESP home, and other open home foundation projects. [SPEAKER_00]: Click the link in the description to learn more. [SPEAKER_00]: We'd also like to give a shout out to our Patreon members, including our executive producers, Benny, Jason, and Rob.

[SPEAKER_00]: You can help support the show and get early access to episodes all in and out free feed. [SPEAKER_00]: To support the show, check out home, Mrs. and Dot FM, and click Patreon in the menu. [SPEAKER_00]: And of course, if you can't do that, we'd appreciate a like, comment, and subscribe or rating wherever you're listening or watching us today.

[SPEAKER_00]: It really does help us out. [SPEAKER_00]: run 26.2 is here so I think we've got a bigger release this month catching up from around coming back from holidays and all the PRs were raised during the holidays there, but [SPEAKER_00]: I think before we get into that, we should do the catch-up.

[SPEAKER_00]: So we went to CES again in January. [SPEAKER_00]: And we have released a video on our thoughts on CES. [SPEAKER_00]: We put that out as a bonus episode on our Patreon and our YouTube members. [SPEAKER_00]: It is on our free site. [SPEAKER_00]: So you don't have to pay anybody just join up to [SPEAKER_00]: I think I'm glad we did it as a bonus episode because it was like an hour and a half of us just breaking down what we saw it Yeah, we thought it would be like I don't like 20 minutes 30 minutes and and it definitely was not so it was not no So yeah, do Just check it out as I said just hit the join button you from YouTube or get one to the patreon I'll be sent on the samples as patreon hit the join for free and it's in our timeline there

[SPEAKER_00]: Um, I do want to give us a couple of other shoutouts. [SPEAKER_00]: Um, well, we're talking about CES. [SPEAKER_00]: Um, we did. [SPEAKER_00]: We got to hang out with a lot of people. [SPEAKER_00]: We got to hang out with TJ and Gavin from home check. [SPEAKER_00]: Dot FM podcasts. [SPEAKER_00]: So, had a lot of fun with them.

[SPEAKER_00]: Um, and yeah, just a lot of walking through Vegas. [SPEAKER_00]: Um, so we shut up to, um, Samsung. [SPEAKER_00]: They, uh, [SPEAKER_00]: gave us a good tour around their show floor. [SPEAKER_00]: They had a whole bunch of, they basically did a whole own thing, a different hotel. [SPEAKER_00]: They had a whole bunch of smart home gadgets there that we were showing off a whole bunch of home gadgets as well.

[SPEAKER_00]: I was really impressed with the soundbar that can do AI. [SPEAKER_00]: filtering out of voices that was my takeaway of that, and obviously at moving spot things over to matter. [SPEAKER_02]: And they had a lot of ecosystem folks too, like they had like new key, for example, who we've talked about a few times on the part of the podcast.

[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, that was me. [SPEAKER_00]: What we didn't mention in our CS breakdown video was things that we didn't see this year. [SPEAKER_00]: So we first saw in last year in 2025, we went to the CS this year. [SPEAKER_00]: There was a couple of notable emissions that didn't see flick there this year.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to put up with them last year. [SPEAKER_00]: They make a little small home automation. [SPEAKER_00]: Rob, I didn't, I'm pretty sure they were there, they went on the show floor this year. [SPEAKER_00]: Shelly weren't there this year. [SPEAKER_00]: They had a very big booth last year.

[SPEAKER_00]: They were there, I think, yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: It was just interesting to see, I guess, with tariffs now and also the political climate of getting into the US. [SPEAKER_00]: Some companies that were like, you know, what it's too expensive for us is here to go or what are gonna bring our whole team over into the US.

[SPEAKER_00]: Or it's hard to get it. [SPEAKER_02]: ready to pay for where you're from too. [SPEAKER_02]: So. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm on in so Frank who we had on the 2025 12 breakdown with us of course. [SPEAKER_00]: Great friend of the podcast. [SPEAKER_00]: He tried to go to CES and just couldn't leave his country right like just planes.

[SPEAKER_00]: Right. [SPEAKER_02]: And that was just weather and and mechanical issues and all of that stuff. [SPEAKER_02]: That's not that's not anything to do with the political reasons just [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I think you tried for three days and I forgot to talk about it exactly. [SPEAKER_00]: And still last time I caught up with him a couple of days before this recording and he still had got his luggage back.

[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, and there was a whole bunch of other guys as well from home as well that we were stuck and get to see us as well. [SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, that is unfortunate. [SPEAKER_00]: state of the open home. [SPEAKER_00]: So home citizens announced the state of the open home is being is going to be in April.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to be April 8th. [SPEAKER_00]: Now, the time this podcast is released on Wednesday, there should be a [SPEAKER_00]: blog post about this, I believe, being released. [SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, it's April 8th in the Utrecht Netherlands. [SPEAKER_00]: It will be in person and you can buy tickets to the, so if you want to go and join the Netherlands, April 8th, there are tickets you can buy I'm assuming and get reserved your place to see the start of the open home life.

[SPEAKER_02]: I do really like the Netherlands, so very good reason. [SPEAKER_02]: Also, the Open Home Foundation dropped something called a device database. [SPEAKER_02]: So it's essentially an opt-in model where folks can share their device information. [SPEAKER_02]: Now, it is anonymized, so they don't, it's not like, hey, this is filled water leak sensor in Home Assistant or something like that.

[SPEAKER_02]: But essentially, it takes around up of all your entities in Home Assistant and it delivers that up to the Open Home Foundation. [SPEAKER_02]: Now, why do this, right? [SPEAKER_02]: And it's really around support ability. [SPEAKER_02]: It's really around, like, hey, people have these kind of devices in-home assistance.

[SPEAKER_02]: So you can go and you can go look at what they've got, and you can see that. [SPEAKER_02]: Right now, I don't know if it's public or not, but essentially what it is is it's a confano dashboard. [SPEAKER_02]: But eventually, it's going to be its own website kind of thing and yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: So the idea again is they are privacy focused.

[SPEAKER_02]: They don't want your personal information. [SPEAKER_02]: What they want to see is they want to see okay, there's all these different types of devices. [SPEAKER_02]: Who did they support? [SPEAKER_02]: Who did they reach out to? [SPEAKER_02]: It gives them a lot of information too, right?

[SPEAKER_02]: When they say, okay, I've got, for example, I've got a lot of [SPEAKER_02]: The home assistant user is run. [SPEAKER_02]: Okay, well, maybe, maybe, you know, Shelley is someone to partner with. [SPEAKER_02]: Obviously, that's about example, because they already do partner with Shelley, but that's kind of the idea there, right?

[SPEAKER_02]: And to say, okay, how can we actually take this in? [SPEAKER_02]: And... [SPEAKER_02]: make get information so that one, you can make a better decision when you go to buy a device and they can look at, like, as it's cloud, as it's a big B, as it's a Z-wave, and it starts to help prioritize some of those efforts there too, I think.

[SPEAKER_02]: But, you know, there's the other side of this, which is, like, sometimes people get, like, pre-released devices, right? [SPEAKER_02]: So how do you, how do you keep your, [SPEAKER_02]: like NDA's active, right? [SPEAKER_02]: So obviously, if it's a pre-release device, if I have this new thing, I can't talk about it until a certain date.

[SPEAKER_02]: It's under embargo. [SPEAKER_02]: More of a problem for creators, but a lot of people's people, a lot of times people sign up for beta devices, and you go, hey, this actually works in homosystem, right? [SPEAKER_02]: So to prevent that, there's got to be both, I think, minimum of 50 instances to report to device.

[SPEAKER_02]: Now, I did look in the, in the, in the Grafana piece of that's not there yet, so they will collect that information and the idea is to only show it once it hits about 50 devices for that specific model or what have you. [SPEAKER_02]: MQTT devices ESP home devices and any custom integrations for now are ignored, right?

[SPEAKER_02]: So that means if I have a custom ESP32 based thing that I built, realistically, it'll be like one of one or like 10 or 10 or what have you. [SPEAKER_02]: So probably wouldn't show up anyways, but any ESP home type devices in there for now are will be excluded. [SPEAKER_02]: So, keep that in mind.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think to note, like this is, uh, so the open home foundation device database is currently uh, still in beta, it's all being worked on. [SPEAKER_00]: It's restricted by a lab stock, so if you want to start sending data to the device database, you need to first enable the feature in labs from the settings menu.

[SPEAKER_00]: And there is a secondary consent toggle. [SPEAKER_00]: So there's currently analytics that you can push up to the open home foundation of how you're using home. [SPEAKER_00]: This isn't like how many devices you have, what your installation method is. [SPEAKER_00]: This is also an extra consent screen that you can get behind.

[SPEAKER_00]: So you could choose to push up, you know, rough analytics of how many integrations you've got activated, what your installation type is and not decide to choose to send up the device data that you're running in high-miss system. [SPEAKER_00]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_02]: And keep in mind this is so it's brought in by the Open Home Foundation.

[SPEAKER_02]: So it's an initiative by the Open Home Foundation and it's [SPEAKER_02]: at least for now it's in home assistant right but the idea is it's going to be it is an independent project of home assistant. [SPEAKER_02]: It's similar to music assistant how it's in home assistant but it's not home assistant right so that's going to be the same kind of deal here too.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it was cool to see that already with the data, like there are some companies that have reached out to the open home foundation. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, we would like to know what sort of products of our own are in there. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not going to name names of which companies that were, but yeah, it was interesting, like, oh, yeah, there's actually some use cases already coming out of this, right?

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: And it's not only going to be for harm, but it could be for, you know, other open source projects or companies to use and, you know, enhance the smart experience. [SPEAKER_02]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_02]: And I talked about it as, like, you know, here's full assistant, then they can drive, you know, development or partnership, I've heard yourself like that, but it's to your point field, it's actually the other way as well, right?

[SPEAKER_02]: Where, you know, I don't know, company X who builds whatever product goes in and they look and they're like, Oh, there's a lot of people using my thing on home assistant. [SPEAKER_02]: Maybe I should reach out or maybe I should take on the integration and we can actually come out with an official integration, right?

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, exactly. [SPEAKER_02]: Or maybe somebody like Chamberlain can go in and say, hey, there's so if people that that one are that you want to integrate our product, maybe we'll just open it up. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that one that one may not happen. [SPEAKER_02]: That's yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Another news, the cloud strikes again.

[SPEAKER_02]: Google Home had a major-outage last month or I guess this month, technically, as of time of recording, with users reporting our lights and switches and things like that being marked as unavailable and uncontrollable. [SPEAKER_02]: So that's less than night. [SPEAKER_00]: I think it is like a very good lesson in why we are pushing for local control of devices.

[SPEAKER_00]: Like you just mentioned there before hard like Chamberlain, right? [SPEAKER_00]: Like they're going down the path of, I think they're putting out the new security protocol to enhance security and take control of what? [SPEAKER_00]: devices can integrate or can control their devices all in the number of security.

[SPEAKER_00]: And the only way to really integrate with their garage door open is we'll be via a cloud API that they have for control over. [SPEAKER_00]: This is a case in point of when the cloud fails in this case, which is an outage, but perhaps it's not a maybe this one. [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe Chamberlain News AWS in North Virginia, right?

[SPEAKER_00]: And it's going to have a [SPEAKER_00]: that as they seem to do a lot. [SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, I think, yeah, it's, well, we're preaching to the choir, I know, but it is important to, you know, get this things like it's not. [SPEAKER_00]: Google is not a small company, right? [SPEAKER_00]: They had an outage, and it didn't take them, like, just a minute to recover from it.

[SPEAKER_00]: I think it was a few days, if not a week, that some of these things kept going on. [SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, it's, I don't know, it's one of those things where I think, [SPEAKER_02]: It just, you know, it would be amazing if companies can open up their API and just keep it local. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_02]: At minimum, you know what? [SPEAKER_02]: Give me home kit. [SPEAKER_02]: At least that's local. [SPEAKER_02]: I feel like these days home kits are almost low hanging fruit for companies to try and get it there. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: That. [SPEAKER_00]: That. [SPEAKER_00]: Until matters.

[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_00]: All right, some feedback from our previous episodes. [SPEAKER_00]: So we had a great chat revisiting Aaron and that launched. [SPEAKER_00]: It was released this month. [SPEAKER_00]: So we had tweezers on YouTube, which I love that username.

[SPEAKER_00]: He's mentioned that for me, moving to another location is my stressor when it comes to home assistant or any kind of smart home thing. [SPEAKER_00]: Two years ago, we moved to Charlotte, North Carolina, and it took over three months to rebuild everything from scratch. [SPEAKER_00]: I did one room at a time to make the transition easier and I did the bedroom last to ensure that everything's working correctly.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's been a couple years now since I moved into the home. [SPEAKER_00]: I took the opportunity, I took the similar right to start a fresh new, promising instance. [SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, I think changing locations with a whole moving house. [SPEAKER_00]: And that's one of the downsides of renting in the small home, right?

[SPEAKER_00]: Typically when you're renting you are moving much more from unless you're in Europe and you have long-term leases, and then Australia where you basically get in 12 months, at least from yours. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, like there is the constant, you know, having to move a rental property. [SPEAKER_00]: Take out all those light bulbs and hope they work in the next place.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, and especially like, I mean, we saw a surge here where during COVID and all those things where house prices shot up, so a lot of times the people that own these properties are like, well, like in charge of a lot more for rent now. [SPEAKER_02]: So hey, sorry, you know, like obviously there's rules around this, but certain people still got away with a lot of stuff saying, oh, hey, we need to renovate the house.

[SPEAKER_02]: So sorry, you got 60 days or 90 days for whatever they're required. [SPEAKER_02]: So now you're sitting there not only are you scrambling to find a place to live you're also like okay well I've got a lot invested into my smart home and I got to pull all these things out So I mean lesson learned there could be also I mean not not on twitches is Compton that's because that is a really good name But you know lesson learned can also be like how especially if your renting is having an exit plan from your smart home [SPEAKER_02]: How can you quickly take it out in a low stress way and just focus on having to move, right?

[SPEAKER_00]: I think that comes down to like, I hate this as a nighty person, but good documentation. [SPEAKER_00]: Like if you can document your smartphone like [SPEAKER_00]: you would in a 19-environment, you know, what IP address is this device, where's mattress, where does it live? [SPEAKER_00]: I know I had on my network, I had a Raspberry Pi to control some blinds and all's renting.

[SPEAKER_00]: I couldn't find where I shoved that Raspberry Pi. [SPEAKER_00]: I hid it somewhere in the kitchen, but I forgot where I'd put it. [SPEAKER_00]: I knew it was on the network, I could see it online, I could SSH into the thing, but I couldn't remember where I physically put it in the house.

[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, exactly right. [SPEAKER_00]: So that's where you can, you know, good documentation, come down to it for sure for sure. [SPEAKER_02]: Um, another great name, full metal goose who I tease, uh, says, uh, free snap, free snap, free snap F tracker has GPS and integrated sim.

[SPEAKER_02]: First purchase was like 60 euros and had three years included, so that's a really nice deal. [SPEAKER_02]: So this is related to, um, talking about like people tracking and and those things, right? [SPEAKER_02]: So, um, [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's, that seems a pretty cool deal. [SPEAKER_02]: I, the only thing I don't like about stuff like that is, I like that of GPS, I like that it's integrated to them and I like, you know, relatively 60 euros is pretty good price considering those devices uses and use next to no data for three years of service, but then, [SPEAKER_02]: I know it's not another service, but it's another service, right?

[SPEAKER_02]: I know you technically are paying for the sim for upkeep and stuff like that, but it's still another recurring subscription kind of thing you have to pay for. [SPEAKER_02]: Um, where, you know, I, I, I really like the idea of something like mesh tastic. [SPEAKER_02]: For those of you on video, you can see I've got two radios there, one, one behind me on this side, one behind me.

[SPEAKER_02]: It's kind of hidden behind a candle there, but, uh, but using something like mesh tastic, which all, which can also deliver GPS data to track, um, your items or your vehicles or, you know, people tracking, whatever, whatever you want to do in that sense, right? [SPEAKER_02]: short of, you know, chipping the individual, that seems like a good, and it's a little more private, it's decentralized, blah, blah, you're not reliant on.

[SPEAKER_02]: You're service writer to be available, because again, that people do have cell phone managers as rare as they are, and that's typically the time when you want to try and get a hold of a person or be like, hey, where is this person? [SPEAKER_02]: So, I don't like the idea of that, but great call out, [SPEAKER_02]: I do, uh, that is, that is a really cool option and, and that is a great deal, too.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think it's about linear, but don't know if it's about globally, but yeah, that is going to access to it. [SPEAKER_00]: Jake has emailed in high-fill in Rhehan, I read my first email to you nine months ago when my daughter was just about three months old. [SPEAKER_00]: You are so kind in pointing out the past episodes with other child-related automations and you even read my email on the podcast with Paulus with recommendations.

[SPEAKER_00]: So I just wanted to say thank you. [SPEAKER_00]: Also I thought you would appreciate the fact that my smartphone has forced me to reflect on my parenting journey as my daughter will be turning one [SPEAKER_00]: with her turning one, I have had to begin shutting down some of the automations I am most proud of, as she has grown them, grown out of them.

[SPEAKER_00]: And daily briefing provided by Google has stopped recognizing her as a baby. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh no. [SPEAKER_02]: That's true, yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: That is also heartbreaking, by the way. [SPEAKER_00]: It's not clear, right? [SPEAKER_00]: Check us of other, I can relate to this. [SPEAKER_00]: And I think it also relates to what we're talking about with Aaron, you know, episode this month was, the seasons of life, right?

[SPEAKER_00]: And I think they are very accelerated, especially in the early years of children, I know. [SPEAKER_00]: I was sprooking about my automation with Amazon Echo Lady telling my kids to bring out their bottles from the night. [SPEAKER_00]: That lasted not very long. [SPEAKER_00]: There was not the automation still there, but I haven't been able to get the kids to keep up that short.

[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, I think, you know, in my daughter started school this year. [SPEAKER_00]: actually last week. [SPEAKER_00]: So, you know, now I've got a whole bunch of automations I need to edit and get into that routine. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: So, yeah, it is, yeah, kids really highlight the way our lives move very quickly and how we have to adjust our automations for that.

[SPEAKER_00]: So, yeah, congratulations on getting to the one year mark. [SPEAKER_00]: Hope everything goes well. [SPEAKER_02]: And yeah, I'm on the journey and I'm sure like yeah feel free to if you've got some great kid related automations like said him into us and we please share both of us have them so it would be helpful honestly even selfishly but but we'll try and we'll try and call it out of the show too to help other other parents there so [SPEAKER_00]: All right, let's get to the crux of it.

[SPEAKER_00]: 2026.2. [SPEAKER_00]: The home dashboard has some big news around the home dashboard for home assistant. [SPEAKER_00]: So the home dashboard is now the default dashboard for home assistant. [SPEAKER_00]: So this is important. [SPEAKER_00]: So if you are installing home assistant for the first time, or if you haven't adjusted or made any changes to your home dashboard settings, [SPEAKER_00]: a home dashboard, which was put in idle last year, will now be the default thing you see in home assistant.

[SPEAKER_00]: And now it's also, it is no longer just a dashboard, but it is the homepage that the home assistant team has decided is a good A-Stushboard for home assistant. [SPEAKER_00]: So you download home assistant, you've got nothing there, no entities. [SPEAKER_00]: The first thing you're going to see is this default dashboard.

[SPEAKER_00]: So, [SPEAKER_00]: The ID being, it's good enough for users who don't want to build out their own dashboard. [SPEAKER_00]: Now, if you're trying to get a mass adoption of home misses, which we're trying to do, we're trying to move away from just a technical, logically focused people, and move it to more everyday people.

[SPEAKER_00]: This is a great move. [SPEAKER_00]: the summaries area in the home dashboard will now also show dynamic data. [SPEAKER_00]: So I was watching Paula's in Frank demo this and I was like, oh, I've actually done this with mushroom cards and top cards for quite some time right. [SPEAKER_00]: So the idea being that there would now be there could be cards, we'll show there are three lights on and you click that card and you can see which lights are on or it will take you to an area as a dashboard or whatever, just don't break it down what's actually happening.

[SPEAKER_00]: Um, yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: I think this is cool. [SPEAKER_00]: I haven't really because I made my own dashboards. [SPEAKER_00]: I haven't really used the home dashboard that much. [SPEAKER_00]: Um, [SPEAKER_00]: I think it is enough for people that don't want to go in and create their own dashboard and stuff.

[SPEAKER_02]: But, you know, when normally when you had a brand new instance of home assistant, you add all your entities and what are all your devices in and stuff, you have this giant mismatch page of every single thing including, and you exactly, and including, including like stuff that, you know, configuration elements for the device that you probably never [SPEAKER_02]: Um, ever, and it's, I don't know, to me, I find it overwhelming when I'm looking for something and, you know, one day something's here, the next day something's here and it gets messy, right?

[SPEAKER_02]: And it's not. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: It, it is. [SPEAKER_02]: pretty chaotic. [SPEAKER_02]: I think it's probably the west that's with it. [SPEAKER_02]: So I actually really like the fact that this home dashboard is where you're starting now. [SPEAKER_02]: And if you haven't used it, it's actually pretty good, right?

[SPEAKER_02]: Like it's it's it's it's it's it's super... [SPEAKER_02]: Does it give you all the elements of customization and stuff? [SPEAKER_02]: No, but you can still absolutely build your own dashboards and do that yourself today, right? [SPEAKER_02]: It's just all this is this is the next kind of new home page rather than having that overview page.

[SPEAKER_02]: And if you like that overview page, Google, you can have that too. [SPEAKER_02]: It goes create a new dashboard and click overview and it'll just, yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: So that's cool. [SPEAKER_02]: Keyboard shortcuts. [SPEAKER_02]: I've always been a big fan of keyboard shortcuts. [SPEAKER_02]: So E and C, I typically use.

[SPEAKER_02]: So when you're in home assistant, if you hit E, you can search for any entities or anything like that. [SPEAKER_02]: If you hit C, you can type command. [SPEAKER_02]: So like that's actually how I always, this is, I don't know why it's, I actually couldn't tell you where the restart button is.

[SPEAKER_02]: I have to look every time and like settings and whatever. [SPEAKER_02]: So I just type C and type restart. [SPEAKER_02]: And that's just, again, for somebody that likes keyboard shortcuts and stuff that's there, it's just great. [SPEAKER_02]: They've now added, if you're a Mac command K or control K, right, which is starting to get common now for Bring up a command panel.

[SPEAKER_02]: So you can navigate and all that stuff, and that's search has been unified. [SPEAKER_02]: So in the past when you take E and C, [SPEAKER_02]: He brings brought up the regular, like I said, entities page C actually brings up the same page, but with a greater than side, right? [SPEAKER_02]: So essentially, or like a hard era, whatever you're gonna call it.

[SPEAKER_02]: And so in there, you know, you can go back and forth, but now in this case, it's actually is a single page with everything brought in to it, so you can search for pretty much anything and almost as did. [SPEAKER_02]: Whatever capability or whatever, [SPEAKER_02]: And any or device or all of those things because that's different too, because you didn't have devices before So I think they I thought they mentioned there's something about like a like a decoman which will pull up devices But again, a command case seems to be the way to go here and it's again standard across more than just home assistant when you want to bring up like a command panel So that yeah, it's all right filters bars.

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, so you can once you bring up the yeah, you can sort of fill to that things down Yeah, like [SPEAKER_00]: I've put it Navigate 2, what does that answer you want to get access to, so yeah, that was cool, see. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, absolutely. [SPEAKER_00]: It's really neat. [SPEAKER_00]: Something that I've not my favorite bit, I'm sad to see happen.

[SPEAKER_00]: I guess the writing was on the wall. [SPEAKER_00]: So as of 2022, the developer tools is moving. [SPEAKER_00]: It's no longer in the footer area on the sidebar. [SPEAKER_00]: It's moving into the settings area. [SPEAKER_00]: For me, I live in the developers, I just, it's my little hammer, I just click it and go in there and yeah, yeah, I just live in there, right?

[SPEAKER_00]: It's always been easier for me to see, I've never really like gone device first or always kept at the entity level. [SPEAKER_00]: Even when device has been in for a while, so yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: adding an extra click. [SPEAKER_00]: I get it. [SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, if you are looking, if you like me, and if you are like me, you use the developer tools a lot.

[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, think me like that. [SPEAKER_00]: You know, I'm not the only one. [SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, developer tools now under the settings menu. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Um, new matter dashboards. [SPEAKER_02]: So now, um, the last, I don't know, was it last release or the one before, um, but basically they, they rearranged, um, a lot of stuff to bring it to kind of the settings.

[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, so when you just hit settings, um, you'll see like Bluetooth and, and Zigbee, see way of all of those kind of things there so that you can go in and actually configure those things. [SPEAKER_02]: Um, [SPEAKER_02]: One of the things that was missing was Matter, so that's never been brought in.

[SPEAKER_02]: They've got a dedicated dashboard for it. [SPEAKER_02]: You can do things like if you want to do it. [SPEAKER_02]: There's a kid vanstings in there, if you want to set credentials and do those kind of things. [SPEAKER_02]: You can do that now in there. [SPEAKER_00]: It's going to tie into the next one, but I just want to side note.

[SPEAKER_00]: It also works with, like if your Matter Server is not on the same host. [SPEAKER_00]: So I'm using a home missing green with, [SPEAKER_00]: a add-on for the Matter Server, Matter Server add-on, and then that, because I've linked that to my main instance on a different host, it still brings up, I can still see how many devices are connected, two-matter all from that remote host, which is just going to see.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now I mentioned I'm using a Matter Server add-on, well as of 2026.2, if you're using home [SPEAKER_00]: add-ons will now be called apps. [SPEAKER_00]: And this is probably a big change. [SPEAKER_00]: I think it's one Frank has alluded to before and the whole idea being that if you're installing a maybe you're just like a Tom Kuma, maybe you're installing music assistant, maybe you're installing Cortana or anything, right, that comes from the add-on store, the privacy of the add-on store.

[SPEAKER_00]: They're not adding on to home assistant, they're sort of [SPEAKER_00]: adjacent to home assistant. [SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, I think apps is the right terminology to use to me and add on is almost like a component like a yeah integration could be an out of it. [SPEAKER_02]: It's a little ambiguous and yeah, like to me like.

[SPEAKER_02]: bringing matter into home assistant or like that to me as an add-on rather than actually running the add-on they the server in our system right so yeah again little little it makes a little less ambiguous in my opinion and and [SPEAKER_02]: It's going to be, honestly, for most people, it doesn't matter.

[SPEAKER_02]: It's just, you see the word add on, replace it with the word apps. [SPEAKER_02]: It folks like us that talk about it. [SPEAKER_02]: It's going to take a little bit more of a difference because we need to change our verbiage for it. [SPEAKER_02]: But, um, I don't know that, um, [SPEAKER_00]: What's interesting to note in actually when you're in the UI, there was one place we saw and I can still see when running the beta is where add-ons is still on the UI.

[SPEAKER_00]: I believe that is actually going to be changing once 2026.2 goes out, which means it's potential and I'm not going to present sure, but [SPEAKER_00]: There is potential that if you're running an older version, so if you're running pre 2026.2, in that menu, we'll change from not the menu, but the title of the addons area will change two apps, even if you haven't upgraded it.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm pretty sure that's what's going to happen there. [SPEAKER_00]: So that's just an FYI. [SPEAKER_00]: It could be wrong, or maybe that's maybe there's a way around that, but that's my understanding. [SPEAKER_02]: Um, purpose-specific conditions and triggers. [SPEAKER_02]: So we've talked about this a couple of times, um, there's more stuff getting added into this.

[SPEAKER_02]: Um, so calendar triggers, person triggers, vacuum triggers, um, and conditions for locks, fans, lawnmowers, media players, uh, climate, vacuums, a lot of stuff. [SPEAKER_02]: Um, um, [SPEAKER_02]: without having to get into this back into like what this is. [SPEAKER_02]: Check out 2025.12, where we had Frank on, and he kind of explained a lot of the logic behind what's happening and where it's going, but this is essentially around how the automation's engine is changing.

[SPEAKER_02]: So, if you're interested in that, check out 2025. [SPEAKER_02]: A 2024, not 2025.12. [SPEAKER_02]: Wow, yeah, there we go. [SPEAKER_00]: All right, there is a new card in dashboards. [SPEAKER_00]: It is the distribution card. [SPEAKER_00]: So it allows you to see what is using the most power in a nice stacked column, which I believe that's the right name of the chart referring to.

[SPEAKER_00]: So I believe you can filter down which devices you want to be included on that chart. [SPEAKER_00]: So if you've got like, so for me in my home, I've just, [SPEAKER_00]: last year I've replaced my gas central heater with electric, which means that when the central heater is or central climate control system is on by the heating or cooling, that is the biggest energy draw, but for me because I don't have an energy monitor on it yet, it's just the big gray bar, right?

[SPEAKER_00]: So I can't really see anything else. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm hoping with this change, I can now create my own [SPEAKER_00]: a card on my dashboard and go, okay, show me what out of, you know, the kitchen, out of the office and my devices that I care about, which ones using the most power out of those because I know for example, my NAS takes a lot of power.

[SPEAKER_00]: They want to include that against my TV, compare the two or see, or even the fridge right like what out of all these quarterbises, excluding the big one is using the most energy at the moment. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's a pretty handy ready to give you a little bit of flexibility in terms of how you consume data and what you're seeing itself.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, exactly. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, heading buttons. [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, this is this one's cool. [SPEAKER_02]: So in dashboards, when [SPEAKER_02]: Like when you have the heading, so like for example, like kitchen or whatever, a lot of times you can now stick different types of entities in there and you can monitor, hey, what's the temperature in the kitchen, just using my same example here, that kind of thing.

[SPEAKER_02]: Now you can actually have buttons in there too, that actually do things. [SPEAKER_02]: So I can push that button and the thing and maybe it turns on the lights, right? [SPEAKER_02]: Again, it's a little different than having it in the [SPEAKER_02]: underneath where your actual buttons are, but this is just a quick little, you know, one-off kind of buttoned.

[SPEAKER_00]: So, yeah, one that I really need to get into music is like the UI changes that they're experimenting with, looking amazing. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we've got Sandspin that's here now with the while I'm streaming protocol and I can see all the services that adding so I really need to [SPEAKER_00]: If not for this reason, and that is that music assistant can now support custom pre-announced sounds.

[SPEAKER_00]: So I really like the pre-announced sounds on my announcements. [SPEAKER_00]: If we're using the Alexa, ooh. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, I said her name, apologies. [SPEAKER_00]: The Amazon Echo, custom component. [SPEAKER_00]: There is the ability when you have, you can send notifications to the Amazon Echo devices.

[SPEAKER_00]: There is an option to have a little chime coming in before that announced what happens. [SPEAKER_00]: Another ding happens. [SPEAKER_00]: I know the [SPEAKER_00]: Mrs. and Voice Preview edition can also have a little bell ding ding before it starts talking. [SPEAKER_00]: I really appreciate those because otherwise it's shocked like it can, you know, skin is the fudge out of me sometimes, right?

[SPEAKER_00]: When I'm sitting there all of a sudden a band, like there's someone talking actually. [SPEAKER_00]: So now you have the ability to get some custom sounds in there. [SPEAKER_00]: I was thinking like, what run, if you were to add one today, what would be like a [SPEAKER_00]: sound that you would add as you're putting notification bell, like what do you want to have?

[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe like a subtle like pop or something, right? [SPEAKER_02]: Like, uh, or even like, like a mario, like, coin sound, right? [SPEAKER_02]: Like super weird. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, kind of thing. [SPEAKER_02]: Like, because it's, it's actually, I don't know, I actually had that as my, like, text message ring tone for, like, in, in, like, university [SPEAKER_02]: It's nice because it's subtle and it's not like a, to your point, you're not like jumping out of your seat when you get a message and it's And even if it's a little louder, it's just like a quick like Bing, right?

[SPEAKER_02]: Like a coin sound, right? [SPEAKER_02]: Yes. [SPEAKER_02]: And so yeah, that's probably for for me, that's something I would probably do [SPEAKER_00]: I like, because of the custom now, you can probably do them on a heard notification basis, right? [SPEAKER_00]: So I'm thinking maybe you could do, you know, that, you know, that, you know, the port announcements bells have like, before they did like a web page in this customer, you could do that for maybe in the morning when it's time to go, right?

[SPEAKER_00]: Like dinged on, you've got to get out the door. [SPEAKER_00]: It's time to leave a school now. [SPEAKER_00]: And maybe, for dinner time, you could have, you know, a dinner bill before the, it's time for the announcement, okay, I got, let's get to the dinner table dinner, which is served right.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that is cool. [SPEAKER_00]: And I love that, you know, music assistant is has that now. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, or for like alerts have something that does get you out of your chair, right? [SPEAKER_02]: Like maybe you don't have this kind of thing. [SPEAKER_02]: You want, you want to like, hey, get up.

[SPEAKER_02]: There's something happening right now, right? [SPEAKER_02]: So, yeah, that kind of thing. [SPEAKER_02]: Um, Sonos now shows podcast favorites in a meter browser. [SPEAKER_02]: So that's a pretty neat one and hopefully we're on that list. [SPEAKER_00]: There you go. [SPEAKER_00]: I feel afraid to put us on the top.

[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, high vision. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm surprised this is only coming in now. [SPEAKER_00]: But, uh, and high vision integration now has support for cameras. [SPEAKER_00]: Um, so you can now view snapshots and streams from your high vision cameras and NVRs directly in home is so there you go.

[UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: Portainer, that integration now has approved images button and a state sensor, which is really good if you want to save this space. [SPEAKER_00]: I was using my AI assistant today to remind me what the Docker command was to bring images. [SPEAKER_00]: So that's funny for me.

[SPEAKER_02]: I couldn't spit out what it is, but I have it. [SPEAKER_02]: It's like muscle memory, because I just, I sure do containers that often, right? [SPEAKER_02]: Just upgrading and whatever. [SPEAKER_02]: And yeah, it's, I do it once a week, and I have for probably, like, [SPEAKER_02]: four years.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it's one of my own servers. [SPEAKER_00]: One of my own servers, I have it as a cron every Sunday night, just pruned the delicious images. [SPEAKER_00]: Right. [SPEAKER_00]: I should probably do that on my instance here at home, but yeah, I just, I haven't got around to it yet. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_00]: If you are using Bosch and Siemens devices, fight their home connect protocol. [SPEAKER_00]: You can now start dishwasher programs from within home assistant. [SPEAKER_00]: That's actually, I'd like the ability to stack the dishwasher and then I use the delay feature on my dumb dishwasher all the time.

[SPEAKER_00]: So I've got the ability to start that program. [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe you can have it once for all that and how to start the dishwasher. [SPEAKER_00]: Or if the data is in the process, [SPEAKER_00]: We've been asleep for a couple of hours now, so I'll have to do it for sure. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I know, it seems not a big deal, but for me, there are, I like.

[SPEAKER_00]: For me, like with my done to us, I can only automate, you know, based on delay times, right? [SPEAKER_00]: I would love the ability to automate when the washing machine starts, right? [SPEAKER_00]: Similar times, right? [SPEAKER_00]: Like when we leave the house or, you know, once if the house isn't in a certain mode, I only start the washing machine then.

[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, I really do appreciate that. [SPEAKER_02]: Or it's also like, again, especially if you have electric appliances, you want to say like if you have based on like time of use, you can say, okay, you know what, turn on my washing machine but however, you know, I don't want my like turn it on at night, but I don't want to just sitting there, so turn it on if my alarm is set for 7 a.m. turn it on at 5.30 or 6.

[SPEAKER_02]: Right, so you don't have, like, must eat, loads, and stuff, so no, that kind of thing, right? [SPEAKER_02]: So it's sad. [SPEAKER_00]: Now, if you're looking to upgrade just in my home, you can't go past the zoos. [SPEAKER_00]: Zoos have just released their brand new Z-Wave long range RGBW dinner.

[SPEAKER_00]: You can now automate 12 to 24 volt LED strips with full brightness and color control. [SPEAKER_00]: It's designed to easily install behind your memory terry wall switch, or you compare it with the Z-Wave scene controller for more flexibility. [SPEAKER_00]: You can use the RGBW dimmer for accent lighting, under cabinets, behind screens, or wherever crazy you can think to port an RGBW light strip.

[SPEAKER_00]: Zeus are also an official works with home Mrs. and Partner, hoping that we castes up by providing long-range devices for testing the home Mrs. Connect ZWA2 radio. [SPEAKER_00]: So you know you're in friendly hands. [SPEAKER_00]: Zeus offer a range of affordable and innovative devices, including water licensors, water valve controllers, smart plugs, and sink controllers.

[SPEAKER_00]: There's N78 high power really allows it to control and monitor higher load appliances up to 40 amps, which is perfect for pool pumps, air compressors and other high power outlets. [SPEAKER_00]: So for the best prices on all Zeus products, head over to the smartesthouse.com. [SPEAKER_00]: That's the smartesthouse.com.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that high power is actually pretty exciting. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: All right, let's talk some new integrations here. [SPEAKER_02]: CloudFlare R2. [SPEAKER_02]: So if you're not familiar with that, it's basically CloudFlare's storage service that they have. [SPEAKER_02]: So what's cool here is you can now start exporting your backups to CloudFlare 2 and they've got a free tier storage with no egress fees.

[SPEAKER_02]: Again, it's basically free storage in the cloud. [SPEAKER_02]: Now, what do they do with that data? [SPEAKER_02]: So I don't know, but your home assistant backups are encrypted. [SPEAKER_02]: So that's a nice thing there. [SPEAKER_00]: But this is good for people that maybe aren't paying for that Navigasa subscription, right?

[SPEAKER_00]: And if they're rolling their own remote access, I know I'm a big fan of CloudFlare. [SPEAKER_00]: We use it for our domains. [SPEAKER_00]: I get very impressed with CloudFlare. [SPEAKER_00]: So if you're using CloudFlare, this makes perfect sense. [SPEAKER_00]: And there is a generous free tier.

[SPEAKER_00]: So let's go to see that as an option. [SPEAKER_02]: Even if you do use Nabe Cossets, it's a great secondary or tertiary, at least to that start there. [SPEAKER_00]: Actually, that's a good point. [SPEAKER_00]: You could have never costed a one remote location and maybe Cloud Flare, so another second-rate remote location.

[SPEAKER_00]: And if it's a good, I haven't seen what the actual free to it does look like, but if it's limited on Google Drive space, maybe you're on a free Google plan, right? [SPEAKER_00]: Like you've only got the two-terry art storage and it's, you know, you can get in close to it. [SPEAKER_00]: This is good to offload it from there.

[SPEAKER_00]: Absolutely. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: All right. [SPEAKER_00]: Green planet energy. [SPEAKER_00]: They are a real time at dynamic electricity pricing data from a regime and renewable energy provider. [SPEAKER_00]: So if you are in Germany, you can now get. [SPEAKER_00]: I think it's pretty close.

[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's either five, ten minute polling frequency, [SPEAKER_00]: That's pretty pretty, you're like, yeah, it's pretty frequent, Poland time. [SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, you can then make decisions on a cape. [SPEAKER_00]: Actually, energy prices have just gone up. [SPEAKER_00]: I can now close off the washing machine.

[SPEAKER_00]: Or maybe you've got a busher appliance, and you've just realized that the prices have gone down. [SPEAKER_00]: You can start your dishwasher. [SPEAKER_00]: So there you go. [SPEAKER_02]: And it's already HD Fury, so if you have one of the HD Fury issue, my processing device video processing devices like the room of Perdiva, that's now brought into home assistant so you can manage HD of my port selection, operation modes, audio, muting, and monitors, the signal status there too, so that's actually a good one.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I was looking, I had never heard of Hadji Furian. [SPEAKER_00]: I was looking at their, what does that say? [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, is it just like a HDMI switch? [SPEAKER_00]: Like, I think that's what it boils into. [SPEAKER_00]: Like you can pull in one HDMI source and then split it off into two locations.

[SPEAKER_00]: One of the use cases was for creating like an ambulance LED accept learning around your TV. [SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, it looks like there's a lot of use cases. [SPEAKER_02]: They've got a lot of different things. [SPEAKER_02]: Like they've got like audio extractors and stuff like that. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's pretty cool.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's neat. [SPEAKER_00]: NRG kick, they are at mobile EV charger available in Europe. [SPEAKER_00]: They actually have a great look, I think I've got a Bluetooth and Wi-Fi integration on their charger, so essentially if you have an EV, you can bring their charger with you, like it's just a portable charger and plug that in revenue to and it has a Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, so you can [SPEAKER_00]: I'm guessing you'll be able to see like energy usage from that, or even a low-level like, is the card charging, I guess or no.

[SPEAKER_00]: And I guess because it's a travel ability, it's portable, all right. [SPEAKER_00]: So there's, yeah, not locked into where you're using that. [SPEAKER_02]: You can also keep wherever you're charging from honest, right? [SPEAKER_02]: So you can say, hey, like, you know, you're charging me accidentally for power, but [SPEAKER_02]: This is how much I actually use, so that doesn't make sense.

[SPEAKER_02]: Kind of thing, right? [SPEAKER_02]: Again, very, but, yeah, prana. [SPEAKER_02]: So HRV, like a heat recovery ventilation system, that's built in, I guess, in Ukraine, or the company is from Ukraine. [SPEAKER_02]: They've got customers in 42 countries. [SPEAKER_02]: So if you're in one of those 42 countries and have a prana system, you can now bring in your HRV into home system, bring in then something that HVAC goodness.

[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, you, uh, they are an indoor air quality monitor, um, so they've got indoor air clean monitors, the track temperature, humidity, CO2, um, PM 2.5 and other air quality metrics. [SPEAKER_00]: That's now available in home assistant, um, we can track those, um, it also, um, the interest in it also includes some proprietary health indices for virus and mold risk.

[SPEAKER_00]: So, um, I. [SPEAKER_00]: Don't know how they calculate that though, I think I said secret source. [SPEAKER_00]: I hope it's not AI as we saw a lot at CS being out in everywhere. [SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, that's cool. [SPEAKER_02]: some breaking changes. [SPEAKER_02]: Now, again, these breaking changes are kind of just, they're not huge, but we're only going to talk about a couple of them.

[SPEAKER_02]: So with groups, the behavior of sensor groups have changed a little bit. [SPEAKER_02]: So when you have a sensor group and it's now available, and it will be marked as unavailable if all group members are either unavailable or missing. [SPEAKER_02]: So, when the group is not considered unavailable essentially the configuration variable for ignore non-numeric is set to false.

[SPEAKER_02]: So then the group state is calculated according to the configure type, only if all group members in the state machine have a numeric state, if not then this group state will be on. [SPEAKER_02]: So, I talked about this in [SPEAKER_02]: recording that we did yesterday which will come out after this episode close with the end of the month, but when you're dealing with like groups and like that kind of stuff, sometimes the math gets kind of complicated and just have a look at what you're doing just read through the documentation to you just to make sure you're doing it right.

[SPEAKER_02]: Otherwise you'll get there so might you and stuff like that and it gets [SPEAKER_02]: kind of frustrating sometimes, right? [SPEAKER_02]: But that ignored non-umeric piece is a important one where, again, if you have a sense of your group, for example, for my house, I have a average home temperature.

[SPEAKER_02]: sensor group. [SPEAKER_02]: Right, so it takes all of my different sensors around the house that collect temperature and I've just thrown it all into one single entity and I got to the point where if a battery died on one of them or something like that, it just comes in as unknown. [SPEAKER_02]: So that's where that ignore non-umeric piece helped a lot.

[SPEAKER_02]: But yeah, so it's set to falls by default. [SPEAKER_02]: Remember that which means stuff will be marked as unknown. [SPEAKER_02]: if even one of those entities is not throwing a number out. [SPEAKER_00]: So does that mean you are potentially now that if they do throw into a unknown state?

[SPEAKER_00]: Had you not had that ignore non-nemeric because the value set to true? [SPEAKER_00]: I'm true. [SPEAKER_00]: The whole sense will be marked as, like, unknown, yeah, okay. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so I just had, like, essentially in my tablet, I just have like a unknown or whatever, come up instead of like, [SPEAKER_02]: 23 degrees or whatever it is inside the house, right?

[SPEAKER_00]: So, yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that can easily catch you without, I can imagine. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it gets, it gets, it gets kind of annoying. [SPEAKER_02]: So it's, uh, this is the, again, it's, that's one of the frustrations when you start doing these kind of, uh, device groups, uh, but, yeah, just be aware of it.

[SPEAKER_02]: It's just, it's just something to know. [SPEAKER_00]: So if you have a two device that has a duplicate HVAC modes, they've now been converted to presets. [SPEAKER_00]: So you may need to adjust service calls from set HVAC mode to use a set preset mode in your automation or scripts. [SPEAKER_00]: So that could be a potentially catch you out there if you're using to your integration.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: That's twenty twenty six dot two I think it yeah it was like there is such an eclectic group of things right like in this release from the home dashboard becoming the primary thing now that you see when you log in call the cable shortcuts I really like those [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, so I think there was a good catch-up release.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm excited to see next month's release because after the March release, we're then going into the stand of the open home territory April 8th. [SPEAKER_00]: And I think April will be, I'm hoping April's going to be an interesting release, because we previously we've seen some cool things announced to coincide with state of the open home.

[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm not expecting any hardware or anything, but I'd like maybe there'll be a feature of maybe purpose specific triggers and stuff will be the default by the end or something. [SPEAKER_02]: I I would like to see easier integration of I know I know like I'm on both sides of the fans when it comes to AI right so but I'd like to see easier integration of stuff like [SPEAKER_02]: bringing in, like, notifications with AI processing, stuff like that.

[SPEAKER_02]: And it's not hard now, but it's just, it's multiple steps. [SPEAKER_02]: I'd love that to somehow just be less steps. [SPEAKER_02]: I don't ask me how, what that's going to look like or how that would happen, what if that's even possible. [SPEAKER_02]: But I would just love that kind of, if you have that, just like check a check box and it'll have a default prompt or something and push it in and you know, do that.

[SPEAKER_00]: There you go. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, thank you very much, 2026.2. [SPEAKER_00]: That's done.
