„Lucy changed our vision of early human evolution,“ says her discoverer Donald Johanson

He expected to find the unexpected. And he did. Donald Johanson - known to some in Ethiopia as Ato Don - found 3.2 million year old famous fossil of human ancestor. He named her Lucy. She changed many things — such as the view of human evolution and the approach to popularizing paleoanthropology. How did Lucy live? Who were we and who we are as humans? And who did he call and said: „You don´t know who I am, but I would like to come and join you on an expedition to Africa“?
