[SPEAKER_06]: We're going to talk about season three, it's playing on Apple TV plus and how it might be the show's richest chapter yet. [SPEAKER_06]: The cast is going to talk about how the series keeps deepening its characters without losing the jokes. [SPEAKER_06]: From Gabby's emotionally loaded monlogues and Brian figuring that he doesn't have life figured out to Derek finally stepping out from behind the Zen smile.
[SPEAKER_06]: And Liz is living a full throttle anxiety year round. [SPEAKER_06]: We'll also hear about some needle drops. [SPEAKER_06]: Christopher Miller, she's also the music soup. [SPEAKER_06]: Some, well, really one unforgettable lay miss sing along, watched silently by Harrison Ford and a whole lot more.
[SPEAKER_06]: We're going to start with my conversation with Jessica Williams, of course. [SPEAKER_06]: She plays Gabby on the show, and she's going to break down Gabby's standout moments this season, including those big emotional monologues. [SPEAKER_06]: What it takes to mentally prep for scenes. [SPEAKER_06]: that hit that hard that early in the day.
[SPEAKER_06]: She's also going to nerd out over watching Harrison Ford. [SPEAKER_06]: Somehow, level up even further, reflect on the joy of working with stars like Michael J. [SPEAKER_06]: Fox and answer the very real question of why clients on this show keep wondering in the kitchen like it's an Airbnb.
[SPEAKER_06]: So let's jump into it. [SPEAKER_06]: This is part one talking about season three of shrinking on Apple TV. [SPEAKER_06]: It's Kyle Meredith with Jessica Williams. [SPEAKER_01]: I just got that a garbage poster back there. [SPEAKER_06]: Yes, it is and no one ever except what else. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, cool, man.
[SPEAKER_06]: I'm going to big campaign to get them into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame that's definitely not in it. [SPEAKER_06]: They're not in it yet. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes. [SPEAKER_01]: Is the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame like the DMV? [SPEAKER_01]: Like, is it just a slow process because they should have been in it?
[SPEAKER_01]: Like, and I would say 2005, they should have gotten in here. [SPEAKER_01]: Right. [SPEAKER_06]: There's a thing. [SPEAKER_06]: It's like, I think it's like 21 years after your first single, then you're eligible. [SPEAKER_01]: Yes, okay. [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, the moment I agree. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, thanks for talking to me about that.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'll see you all. [SPEAKER_06]: We got that started, right? [SPEAKER_01]: We have our marching orders. [SPEAKER_01]: See you later. [SPEAKER_06]: Let me be one of the many I'm sure to congratulate you on an outstanding new season. [SPEAKER_01]: No, I'll pick it honestly because it sucks to ask when people don't like it.
[SPEAKER_06]: And do you get that a lot? [SPEAKER_01]: Intel, no, you could just tell when you're on a project. [SPEAKER_01]: It happens to actors all the time. [SPEAKER_01]: You can tell when you're on a project in the critics don't like it. [SPEAKER_01]: And you have to sit and do this for 15 hours.
[SPEAKER_01]: And it's dog shit. [SPEAKER_01]: So I do really appreciate it. [SPEAKER_01]: And I'll take every single compliment. [SPEAKER_01]: So thank you so much. [SPEAKER_06]: I purposely only watched about half the season because I really want to watch it in real time with my wife. [SPEAKER_01]: And I, I, I, I, I eat like, I eat it in a sort of wine.
[SPEAKER_01]: And then I save the middle because I want that part. [SPEAKER_06]: So I, well, that's it. [SPEAKER_06]: But I don't mind saying like I honestly think even half the season in, I think it's my favorite season, which is outstanding because you guys do such great work on this. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I had that, I thank you, and I felt like season two was amazing, and I especially felt Harrison Ford and season two was unbelievable, but this season three, I don't know what is going on.
[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's a maniac, but he is beyond locked in, and he is blowing my mind every after. [SPEAKER_06]: When he's just holding the baby and he says, I just got chills. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, about that. [SPEAKER_01]: I got chills. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm unbelievable. [SPEAKER_01]: Like that. [SPEAKER_01]: Did you have even that?
[SPEAKER_06]: You've had your moments, too. [SPEAKER_06]: Like there's some, the get on with your life speech that you get to do really early on. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, with Brett. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, yeah. [SPEAKER_06]: Like, on a day like that, like, do you have to ramp into that? [SPEAKER_06]: Is there a process to getting into that headspace?
[SPEAKER_01]: There is. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think auditioning sometimes is so counter to the actual process of acting on a set. [SPEAKER_01]: Auditioning is really hard. [SPEAKER_01]: You sit in a waiting room with 40 people that look like you and you go in and you have two minutes. [SPEAKER_01]: But when you get the job, you can ask, for example, if you can go first up, or you can ask if it's your first scene of the day, so that you can come loaded.
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, you have to do the work and the prep that morning or the night before, so that you're ready to go. [SPEAKER_01]: And so for me, I talk to our line producer and I was like, please, pretty please, it's a possible that that's my first scene. [SPEAKER_01]: You don't want to have to, it's like a big presentation at work.
[SPEAKER_01]: Like you're thinking about it for a week before you're like, okay, I have that scene with Brett. [SPEAKER_01]: like I'd better show up and, you know, give it. [SPEAKER_01]: So, but, and to shrinking, they want the show to be good, so they set it up where that was my first scene of the day, and Zaf Braff was directing that episode.
[SPEAKER_01]: I love our crew. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm a people pleaser. [SPEAKER_01]: I came in. [SPEAKER_01]: It was like, look, guys, I'm still your friend. [SPEAKER_01]: I just have to kind of hold it for a second so that I could just do this scene. [SPEAKER_01]: And then as soon as it's done, like, let's do bits again.
[SPEAKER_01]: And they were super respectful and cool. [SPEAKER_01]: And then it was easy. [SPEAKER_01]: It was just the writing was great. [SPEAKER_01]: So it was just saying the words and listening to what I was saying. [SPEAKER_01]: That's yeah. [SPEAKER_06]: For like some awards for that. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, thank you.
[SPEAKER_01]: That's really nice. [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_06]: on them on the more trivial funsides, since there's a lot of you here. [SPEAKER_06]: I think that this place might need a receptionist for all of the clients that just bust into the kitchen. [SPEAKER_06]: It has done, I mean, why is there no safeguard?
[SPEAKER_01]: All, don't you think it's more of a Paul issue, like Paul's like, what, I'm gonna pay some money else? [SPEAKER_01]: No, figure it out. [SPEAKER_01]: I feel like that's something Gabby would totally say to Paul, actually, but you, [SPEAKER_01]: it's hard to get Paul to do anything and that is not something that I could see a man in his 80s willingly getting a receptionist for himself.
[SPEAKER_01]: You know, it's just why would he do that? [SPEAKER_06]: Incredible. [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_06]: Well, I mean, it leads to good comedy anyway, so I can't complain there. [SPEAKER_01]: I know, that's a great idea though. [SPEAKER_06]: Thank you. [SPEAKER_06]: Any, uh, the guests are great.
[SPEAKER_06]: I'll wrap up with this. [SPEAKER_06]: Uh, did you get any hang time with Michael J. [SPEAKER_06]: Fox or, or, or Jeff? [SPEAKER_01]: No, not, not hang time because he was working, but I did when I wrapped like stay so I could watch him and Harrison work together and I got chills watching it.
[SPEAKER_01]: And, um, he's an absolute legend and he's magic on the camera and he's so freaking funny. [SPEAKER_01]: And, uh, he's really funny in this season and it's an honor to have him and fuck Parkinson's and he's great. [SPEAKER_06]: Parkinson's. [SPEAKER_06]: It's always great to talk to you.
[SPEAKER_06]: Congratulations again. [SPEAKER_06]: I can't wait to congratulate you on the next season as well. [SPEAKER_01]: Thank you. [SPEAKER_06]: And we'll be right back right after this. [SPEAKER_06]: Welcome back. [SPEAKER_06]: It's Kyle Meredith, we're talking about season three of shrinking, now my conversation with Kristen Miller, who plays the next door neighbor Liz, who's always very tightly wound up and wildly entertaining.
[SPEAKER_06]: Chris is also the, the show's music supervisor, so we're gonna break down how music choices is some of those really unexpected needle drops, shape the emotional punch of this season, including songs she's been chasing for years. [SPEAKER_06]: and finally landing right at exactly the right moments.
[SPEAKER_06]: She'll also open up how Liz is from her real life, why the character is anxiety and accountability makes her so fun to play, and why she never really gets to put Liz away between seasons. [SPEAKER_06]: This is a part two talking about shrinking. [SPEAKER_06]: It's Kyle, Meredith, with Christa Miller.
[SPEAKER_03]: Hi, Kyle. [SPEAKER_06]: It's great to see you again. [SPEAKER_06]: Compliment you on the newest season. [SPEAKER_03]: Thank you. [SPEAKER_06]: I have once again fallen in love with these characters. [SPEAKER_06]: You all do so well on the show. [SPEAKER_06]: Although, where I usually start, I gotta start on the music because again, I am always so happy anytime I hear a placement on here because it's always so perfect.
[SPEAKER_06]: And I was, yeah, I was wondering, like, like, do you have a favorite placement that's happened? [SPEAKER_06]: I have a favorite game. [SPEAKER_03]: What's, I love the R.M. [SPEAKER_03]: But what is your, what was your aside from R.M. [SPEAKER_03]: What was your favorite placement? [SPEAKER_06]: That was, that was my favorite one, because I didn't see that one coming.
[SPEAKER_06]: I didn't mind hearing every morning at the beginning. [SPEAKER_06]: But Bonavare, that's space hide. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, that was so good, right? [SPEAKER_03]: That's a killer. [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I loved that brandy Carlisle song, you know, my daughter's fiance produced her album and introduced me to her and I heard that song two years ago and I said, I got you why I need it for shrinking and he says, it's not out yet and I kept telling brandy.
[SPEAKER_03]: Like, I need it for shrinking, I need it for shrinking. [SPEAKER_03]: And then last season, it wasn't, we were like working out the months, but it'll still be, and I didn't work out. [SPEAKER_03]: And then this season, Brandy, and a call me and said, we have four shows asking for it. [SPEAKER_03]: Do you guys want to know like, yes, and in the middle of shooting, I mean, but I knew, and it was actually good that I couldn't have it last season, because if you saw the finale, they wrote to it.
[SPEAKER_03]: it was the perfect placement. [SPEAKER_03]: It gives me goosebumps just telling you about it. [SPEAKER_03]: And I also had thought about it so much of my head and it's the perfect place for it. [SPEAKER_03]: That's where I envisioned it two years ago. [SPEAKER_06]: And she doesn't miss a mark, man.
[SPEAKER_06]: Like you put her music to, you could probably when people say you could sing the phone book, like you could part of the program music to just about anything and it's going to work because it's so good. [SPEAKER_03]: It's so good, but that song in particular, also I was like, why would you even waste it on last season?
[SPEAKER_03]: Of course, it's going to be exactly for this particular thing. [SPEAKER_03]: Would you knew what's happening? [SPEAKER_03]: I'm like, I know, there's a dummy box. [SPEAKER_06]: Well, big compliments on that one. [SPEAKER_06]: And seeing Liz this time, she gets something to focus on, you know, but she also gets to play her out of that neuroses or whatever we call.
[SPEAKER_06]: like I love to hear about going in like what you wanted to bring to the character this season. [SPEAKER_03]: Look, Liz is a different than I am. [SPEAKER_03]: I would say opposite of kind of person than I am and she's so many plates spinning. [SPEAKER_03]: I mean, I would get the scripts and be like, oh, what are you doing?
[SPEAKER_03]: How, how am I going to make this work? [SPEAKER_03]: Shut myself in my office and be like, how does this [SPEAKER_03]: And I think it's why it's so fun to play this part because Liz is, you know, accountable. [SPEAKER_03]: She's will do a repair. [SPEAKER_03]: She, of course, blurt's things that has no restraint or restraint of what she's saying, but she's, um, [SPEAKER_03]: She's trying to be better, and she will acknowledge if someone says stop, you know, she'll be like, okay, okay, you know, you can, you know, she's not like a monster, you can tell her to stop and she'll stop.
[SPEAKER_06]: Like, do you think about her between seasons? [SPEAKER_06]: Do you put her away or do you? [SPEAKER_03]: Here's the problem. [SPEAKER_03]: I, before we start shooting a season, I've got four months of working on the music and putting all new songs and thinking of music, which immediately gets me into Liz.
[SPEAKER_03]: Then when we wrap, I've got four months of putting in the music, watching the episodes, being in Liz, being in that character. [SPEAKER_03]: So I'm never not in Liz. [SPEAKER_03]: So no, I can't put that character away, or if yes, do I think about her every day? [SPEAKER_03]: Yes. [SPEAKER_06]: But she doesn't infiltrate you.
[SPEAKER_06]: Like you said, it's so [SPEAKER_03]: No, like if my kids are bugging me, I'll be like, put my phone on, do not disturb and see, like, I just want you cool your feels for three hours. [SPEAKER_03]: Liz would never do that. [SPEAKER_03]: No, she's not tumbling into my personal life. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm just like, you know, I get it.
[SPEAKER_06]: Well, it's such, again, it's such a great season. [SPEAKER_06]: It's such a great cast, and I love what you do. [SPEAKER_06]: And especially with the music, all the compliments as always. [SPEAKER_03]: Thank you so much. [SPEAKER_03]: I appreciate it. [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, and we'll be right back right after this.
[SPEAKER_06]: All right, welcome back, talk in season three of shrinking on Apple TV now my conversation with Ted McGinley, of course, you know him from married with children, revenge of the nerds, et cetera. [SPEAKER_06]: He plays Derek, Liz's husband, and also the next door neighbor on the series and Ted and I are going to talk about Derek's journey, how it's taken that turn from the zen-like optimism?
[SPEAKER_06]: I mean, that's still exists, but into something deeper. [SPEAKER_06]: Messier, more human, Ted's going to dig into what it meant to explore Derek beyond the smile. [SPEAKER_06]: Why he thinks of the character as an iceberg and how grateful he is at the writer's trusted him with the darker emotional space as well.
[SPEAKER_06]: And he'll also talk about the pairings getting to pair up with Chris Demiller, Jessica Williams, Jason Seagull, Harrison Ford. [SPEAKER_06]: So part three of this shrinking episode, it's Kyle Meredith with Ted McGinley. [SPEAKER_06]: It's Kyle, how you doing? [SPEAKER_06]: I'm well, it's great to see you getting.
[SPEAKER_06]: Congratulations on another fine season. [SPEAKER_06]: Thank you. [SPEAKER_06]: Did you see it? [SPEAKER_06]: I have seen, you know what? [SPEAKER_06]: I've watched half of it on purpose. [SPEAKER_06]: You like it? [SPEAKER_06]: Oh, I love it because I've fallen over these characters. [SPEAKER_06]: And I've fallen over these characters so much that I have to stop myself so I can watch the rest of it with everybody else when it comes out.
[SPEAKER_02]: So it's funny. [SPEAKER_02]: I was just having this conversation that for a long time I was running lines with my wife and then after season one I kind of stopped because I wanted to watch it with her and not have her know what's going on in the show. [SPEAKER_02]: So it's kind of [SPEAKER_02]: It's really fun to watch it with people and to feel a reaction, and then that anticipation of, well, what happens?
[SPEAKER_02]: I love that. [SPEAKER_06]: And the conversations you get to have in the cries, you get to have together, and now we'll say, you know, watching, watching Derek this season, because he'd gone through some darkness last season, and kind of, you know, he's out to come out the other side here.
[SPEAKER_06]: Like, does that change like how you entered the character this time around? [SPEAKER_02]: Well, I think one that the fact that they trusted me enough to explore more depth with Derek, because you never know, I didn't know I was sort of a day player initially and then it sort of grew because they created this character that people responded to.
[SPEAKER_02]: They get all the credit for that. [SPEAKER_02]: And so the fact that they allowed me to keep going with it, [SPEAKER_02]: is a godsend to be honest with you, it's just amazing. [SPEAKER_02]: I thought I'm honored to get to play a guy like Derek and the fact that they've let him explore.
[SPEAKER_02]: You get to see that he's just not this smiley face. [SPEAKER_02]: He's a complex guy. [SPEAKER_02]: and I would say I like to make the analogy that Derek is an iceberg. [SPEAKER_02]: You're seeing this underneath this all this and it's a real foundation he's got, but it's he has something sort of magical about him.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: I think that. [SPEAKER_06]: I agree with you. [SPEAKER_06]: I think everybody agrees with you and it's it's it's showed on the show too. [SPEAKER_06]: And I'll also say it's fun watching [SPEAKER_06]: You know, because they'll do the different pairings, right? [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_06]: They kind of find, and a lot of this, especially the first half of this season. [SPEAKER_06]: I was just talking with Michael about this. [SPEAKER_06]: It ends up being a bit of the, the Brian and Derek show, which is fun to watch. [SPEAKER_02]: Is there a pairing that you be so much fun to play opposite?
[SPEAKER_02]: It looks like it would be. [SPEAKER_02]: Well, and the two characters are diametrically opposed. [SPEAKER_02]: on the surface, so Derek so open and he's so not in it, you know, it works, it's actually interesting. [SPEAKER_06]: I was gonna say, is there a pairing that you find comes natural maybe more than others to you?
[SPEAKER_02]: Well, with Liz, you, there's, what I love working with Christ is that I can't tell what's going to come. [SPEAKER_02]: You never know how it's going to come out and she's so complicated that I think it's beautiful. [SPEAKER_02]: And she, I think the Christian Miller doesn't amazing job playing Liz.
[SPEAKER_02]: And so the two of them together are complex and interesting. [SPEAKER_02]: I really enjoy that. [SPEAKER_02]: Ted McKinley loves working with Jessica because [SPEAKER_02]: Just Williams is like, you know, it's like a boxing match and you know, you don't know where it's going to come from.
[SPEAKER_02]: That's really fun. [SPEAKER_02]: And Jason is like this beautiful warm chair that you sit in this great club chair and then every so often he'll just shock you to know and you'll never know it's coming. [SPEAKER_02]: I love that about him. [SPEAKER_02]: I love, so, you know, Harrison, it's like, it's like working with a 16-year-old.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's just really fun. [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, the whole, there's not one person. [SPEAKER_02]: My favorite thing is that you can work with every single, I'm not, I'm not in their professional world. [SPEAKER_02]: I'm not a Harrison doesn't live in our neighborhood that his character, you know, but we've melded it together.
[SPEAKER_02]: And that again is like this genius writing. [SPEAKER_02]: and can't believe I get to be part of that. [SPEAKER_06]: I love watching it. [SPEAKER_06]: I love watching you be stoned in this one and everything that come with this season. [SPEAKER_06]: As usual, I had so much fun. [SPEAKER_06]: Ted, thank you so much for what you do and take the time to talk.
[SPEAKER_06]: Thank you so much. [SPEAKER_06]: Alright, now let's move to part four. [SPEAKER_06]: My conversation with Michael Eury. [SPEAKER_06]: He plays Brian who's one of Jason Seagull's oldest friends and this season he gets his [SPEAKER_06]: Michael's going to talk about how the character's confidence has slowly been chipped away over the three seasons.
[SPEAKER_06]: Why that long-form evolution is the real gift of TV and how Brian finally realizing he doesn't have everything figured out has really made this role even richer. [SPEAKER_06]: He's also going to dig into one of my favorite moments of the season. [SPEAKER_06]: Brian and Jimmy belting out Leymez in the car while Harrison Ford silently steals the scene with his reactions alone.
[SPEAKER_06]: All that a more here is part four of our shrinking talk it's Kyle Meredith with Michael Yuri. [SPEAKER_04]: Hi Kyle, how are you? [SPEAKER_06]: It's great to see you again. [SPEAKER_06]: Congratulations on a great third season. [SPEAKER_04]: Thank you. [SPEAKER_04]: That's so nice. [SPEAKER_06]: Watching all of you all grow in the new character growth that we get this one, of course.
[SPEAKER_06]: Of course, Brian gets a baby this season. [SPEAKER_06]: Did that change? [SPEAKER_06]: How you got to play with the character? [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: What I love about this arc that Brian is on is [SPEAKER_04]: that he thought he knew everything when we first met him, he thought that everything, he literally said, everything goes my way over and over again.
[SPEAKER_04]: And as the show has gone on from season one to two to three, you realize it's not like that at all. [SPEAKER_04]: And so does he. [SPEAKER_04]: And that's the cool part. [SPEAKER_04]: That's the best part about doing TV is that you play a character that changes. [SPEAKER_04]: If you're in a movie, you play one arc of a character [SPEAKER_04]: It's a short glimpse of a person's life, usually.
[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, sometimes it would be in an epic story that spans a life, but this is more like real life because I didn't know where this character was going and neither did anyone, neither did the writers, just like real life. [SPEAKER_04]: Like we don't really know what's gonna happen to us and to play a guy who is on top of the world [SPEAKER_04]: only to realize over the course of three seasons.
[SPEAKER_04]: Oh no, he does not have everything figured out and he's finding out the hard way. [SPEAKER_06]: Well, it's it's it's it's still fun watching him find out that hard way about it. [SPEAKER_06]: You mentioned the stage and I love that you kind of get to bring that into the world too because the scene of you and Jason doing the show tunes in the car is one of the best moments of the entire season.
[SPEAKER_04]: Oh good. [SPEAKER_06]: How much did you all have to practice that? [SPEAKER_06]: What's [SPEAKER_04]: Um, I'll be honest, we didn't have to practice at all because we've already knew the song, they not, so I got a knock on my trailer door and Bill Lawrence came in and he was like, alright, I got this idea, it's a little strange.
[SPEAKER_04]: We're thinking about putting a scene in where you and Jason sing the song, the confrontation from Lamey, and he didn't even finish and I said, am I Val genre's a ver. [SPEAKER_04]: I was ready. [SPEAKER_04]: I knew exactly what he was talking about when I knew exactly what I was going to do.
[SPEAKER_04]: And Jason and I were totally giddy. [SPEAKER_04]: It was like two weeks later that we shot it, we were giddy. [SPEAKER_04]: Every time we saw each other, we were like children, giddy. [SPEAKER_04]: And we were practiced, we didn't need to. [SPEAKER_04]: We already knew it, but we would practice on stage.
[SPEAKER_04]: But we never practiced around Harrison. [SPEAKER_04]: If Harrison was around, we kept mum, because we didn't, obviously, he doesn't know what lame is. [SPEAKER_04]: And we didn't want him to, you know, we didn't want to, we wanted it to be a completely genuine reaction. [SPEAKER_04]: And it totally was.
[SPEAKER_04]: And so when you see, and but this is my favorite part about this whole scene is that we couldn't wait. [SPEAKER_04]: We were giddy, we were excited. [SPEAKER_04]: And then we gave it our all. [SPEAKER_04]: We weren't playing Jimmy and Brian anymore. [SPEAKER_04]: We were playing Valgeon and Javier.
[SPEAKER_04]: And yet when you watch it, your eyes can't go away from Harrison. [SPEAKER_06]: Of him watching you all, it's so perfect. [SPEAKER_04]: He steals the whole scene. [SPEAKER_04]: That is a movie star. [SPEAKER_04]: he steals the whole scene from us without any words and in the background.
[SPEAKER_06]: I just, I smiled the whole way through I wanted to clap at the end of it. [SPEAKER_06]: I really did. [SPEAKER_06]: It was fantastic. [SPEAKER_06]: And I also want to quickly bring up because a lot of this season, it feels like the, the Brian Aderic show, like the little adventures. [SPEAKER_06]: And I don't know, was that was it obvious to you who was like this?
[SPEAKER_04]: I love that. [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, what I love is that in so many ways Brian and Derek are alike. [SPEAKER_04]: but yet they're like two sides of the same coin in some ways. [SPEAKER_04]: And so I love whenever we get to play together. [SPEAKER_04]: This is a show where any two combo, any two character combo is gonna work and I love any opportunity to play with any of them.
[SPEAKER_04]: But going on adventures with Derek and really spending a day with Ted McGinley is [SPEAKER_04]: is always going to be a good day. [SPEAKER_04]: It's always going to be a sweet, lovely, wonderful day. [SPEAKER_04]: That guy's got stories. [SPEAKER_04]: My gosh, his life, his career is so funny and fun and wonderful.
[SPEAKER_04]: And sometimes you'll be talking about something so random. [SPEAKER_04]: And he'll be like, oh, yeah, I dance with them. [SPEAKER_04]: on the set of the love boat. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, we had a whole love affair in that, and I'm like, on the kindest room in the love boat, or he'd be like, yeah, this guy, there's a PA on happy days.
[SPEAKER_04]: Like, what are you on? [SPEAKER_04]: How am I going to use on happy days? [SPEAKER_04]: His career is so fun and wonderful. [SPEAKER_04]: And I think they're a cute match. [SPEAKER_04]: They're just a really cute match. [SPEAKER_06]: I agree and I love the entire season seriously.
