[SPEAKER_00]: So now I want to come up with a loan. [SPEAKER_00]: You've done everything they told you to do. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, you have the wife, the car, the kids, the house, the salary, the occupation, everything that the average man would want to have in this life. [SPEAKER_00]: But you still feel unfulfilled sitting in your driveway, sitting outside at the park or in your office, and you don't know why.

[SPEAKER_00]: There's a gap, there's a void. [SPEAKER_00]: There's a blank and you just don't feel fulfilled after what you've obtained you thought it was supposed to. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, Hamdirullah, a loss of part of the answer is this question. [SPEAKER_00]: He tells you who really won and he tells you how what you will receive will bring a level of fulfillment and that is a true success.

[SPEAKER_00]: Because the problem is we have been rushing towards what we thought was success. [SPEAKER_00]: But what did that thought of success come from? [SPEAKER_00]: What was the definition of success? [SPEAKER_00]: How does Allah define the success? [SPEAKER_00]: And this video we're going to talk about, what Allah defines the success and where we have properly possibly fallen short and what to do about it by the permission of Allah in China with dollar.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to walk you step by step through this to will have a clear understanding to have clear, good, consistent, purifying output. [SPEAKER_00]: May Allah spend dollar bless you all. [SPEAKER_00]: Let's get started. [SPEAKER_00]: Bismillah. [SPEAKER_00]: Alright, number one brothers is that you may have built something on the outside, but Allah looks at the inside.

[SPEAKER_00]: Allah Subhanahu Wa'Talah is the one that has created you as a man. [SPEAKER_00]: He has created you as someone that has given the raw material to be the responsible party, the leader, the leader to the best of your ability while making mistakes. [SPEAKER_00]: But make no mistake that while you're in the process of doing this, Shetham will come to you.

[SPEAKER_00]: Your nephew's soul will call you to do that, which may be compromising to your identity as a Muslim. [SPEAKER_00]: And when you fall deep into it, that's when your soul gets buried in the dirt of my Alcy and of sins. [SPEAKER_00]: And that's what we talked about earlier. [SPEAKER_00]: But always remember that Alcy part of what Dalai doesn't look at the house.

[SPEAKER_00]: He doesn't look at the education. [SPEAKER_00]: He doesn't even look at the children. [SPEAKER_00]: Alcy part of what is in your heart. [SPEAKER_00]: Allah, the Prophet ﷺ, He said in the authentic Hadith, in the Allah, Allah, Llayyam llayyam llayyam llayyam llayyam llayyam llayyam llayyam llayyam llayyam llayyam llayyam llayyam llayyam llayyam llayyam llayyam llayyam llayyam llayyam llayyam llayyam llayyam llayyam llayyam llayyam llayyam llayyam llayyam llayyam llayyam llayyam llayyam llayyam llayyam llayyam llayyam [SPEAKER_00]: your your appearance and your wealth rather he looks at your deeds and your hearts.

[SPEAKER_00]: So know that your heart is the also it is the foundation. [SPEAKER_00]: What is it enriched by? [SPEAKER_00]: Is it only enriched by watching sports? [SPEAKER_00]: Is it enriched by an increased salary? [SPEAKER_00]: Or is it enriched by the worship of Allah? [SPEAKER_00]: is it enriched by you denying yourself a greater salary because it compromises your identity as a Muslim.

[SPEAKER_00]: It compromises your dean. [SPEAKER_00]: For example, you will have an increased salary if you work on Fridays and you know that will compromise your Juma. [SPEAKER_00]: You see your salary increasing, you're able to go on vacation, you're able to get what your wife is always wanted. [SPEAKER_00]: She loves that, she feels appreciated, but she doesn't know what it costs you.

[SPEAKER_00]: Then she has a conversation with you. [SPEAKER_00]: Aren't you supposed to be going to jump out of these past couple of months? [SPEAKER_00]: I noticed that you've been at work. [SPEAKER_00]: Is that okay? [SPEAKER_00]: And you know that it's not, but you've given excuse. [SPEAKER_00]: This is where you're compromising your deem for the dunya.

[SPEAKER_00]: When you compromise that. [SPEAKER_00]: And when you have that time by yourself, you look and see, wow, under that surface, that driveway, if you will. [SPEAKER_00]: I feel my soul deteriorating. [SPEAKER_00]: I feel horrible and rumored on. [SPEAKER_00]: And rumored on is usually when all this hits, right?

[SPEAKER_00]: But it's supposed to be, we hope that it can be outside or rumored on. [SPEAKER_00]: To where you see a lawsuit panel with dialogue is not like at the face and the money. [SPEAKER_00]: Although in society, even in Muslim communities, those are the two loudest objects for people to respect you, to honor you, to look at you, and to admire you.

[SPEAKER_00]: It is with your salary and what how you look, the Prophet ﷺ gave this happy to review that, because Allah knows that we particularly as men, as providers, what we will be looking at as a metric for success. [SPEAKER_00]: but the province is a lot of things that makes it clear here that everyone has their sword and their atmats, has their collup and their atmats, their hearts, what are their hearts anchored by and their actions that emanate from the heart, what are they enriched by?

[SPEAKER_00]: The actions, what you do at work, is it enriched by what is in your heart? [SPEAKER_00]: Are you going to work because, you know, Allah is giving you that job? [SPEAKER_00]: And if you recognize it, he's giving you that occupation. [SPEAKER_00]: Do you within every day or every deal or every meeting?

[SPEAKER_00]: Have that, do you have that in mind? [SPEAKER_00]: your character, the way you carry yourself, the way you deal with people, what you deny from the ethics of your business, or the ethics that you may carry as a Muslim. [SPEAKER_00]: It's not that you fell, but you just submitted to the wrong situation.

[SPEAKER_00]: You submitted to the wrong file, if you will. [SPEAKER_00]: You're not looking at the file that'll lost your patent without a headset, and that's where the ultimate success lies. [SPEAKER_00]: And this is important brothers because SubhanAllah, you know, as a Prophet ﷺ they had many Adam will never be so satisfied, he'll never be satisfied in the dunya.

[SPEAKER_00]: He'll want more and more until his mouth is filled with dirt. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, came out called us in a lot. [SPEAKER_00]: He was telling them to show that until we die, we will never be satisfied. [SPEAKER_00]: You know, we'll always want more and more and more. [SPEAKER_00]: So imagine if you were the, these all these, you know, the, [SPEAKER_00]: be the source of provision after a law for your family.

[SPEAKER_00]: You're always going to want more and take it higher. [SPEAKER_00]: You know, your house that was worth this amount is now worth much more. [SPEAKER_00]: It appreciates the salary that you had five years ago, you're going to need to have much more salary. [SPEAKER_00]: You have more kids, so you've got to make more money.

[SPEAKER_00]: Therefore, you're going through this journey and you realize that you may have to what compromise. [SPEAKER_00]: Do you have to or are there routes to where you can please allow and not obtain what you want to obtain but a little lesser in order to please the one that is given you that particular job.

[SPEAKER_00]: Because the score board will never end. [SPEAKER_00]: It is always going to continue. [SPEAKER_00]: It never stops. [SPEAKER_00]: You know David Gilmore and his book Manhood in the Making. [SPEAKER_00]: He's an anthropologist that talks about universities and masculinity. [SPEAKER_00]: What was viewed as masculinity?

[SPEAKER_00]: He talks about how it was, man who was earned and continuously re-earned and that there was no final whistle, as he says. [SPEAKER_00]: It's continuous. [SPEAKER_00]: You have to earn it publicly through provision and continue through the performance. [SPEAKER_00]: It will never stop. [SPEAKER_00]: And the people never say you are man in 1957 and in 1997, they still look at you as that.

[SPEAKER_00]: You still have to gain those characteristics of particular manhood in society because that salary will not be the same as it is as it was 10 years ago So you're always going to want to get more and when you get more it may result and you compromising To where to do so enough sec to where you will get involved in the my Aussie the sinful practices in order to get that that's why the integrity is important Now just have a check [SPEAKER_00]: If allow us to display what you do alone, is it's something that is the same as what you do in front of people.

[SPEAKER_00]: I mean the way that you talk to your family and gatherings, the way that you go to work, when you're at work and when you're not at work, are you the same? [SPEAKER_00]: What is considered success is that which is in your heart and in your actions. [SPEAKER_00]: That is the rubric for what a lot determines what success is.

[SPEAKER_00]: And it's important that we as men, if we're Muslim, we are rubric for these words that in regardless of place or time, the Islamic understanding of these terminologies is where we find our foundation. [SPEAKER_00]: And that's why a law does not ultimately care what is out in the open. [SPEAKER_00]: He cares what is inside, what is hidden, what is in your heart and what is in your actions.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's true success. [SPEAKER_00]: A second thing, brothers, that we have to realize is that the world will score you in public. [SPEAKER_00]: but a lot of scores you have in private. [SPEAKER_00]: Although a lot of scores looks at you the whole time when you're in public as well, but that feeling that you have of guilt most of the time when you're trying or when you're sitting with yourself, it doesn't happen at work, it doesn't happen when you're at Juma, it happens when you're alone in your car.

[SPEAKER_00]: Or when you're alone at home, when you're fighting those thoughts, when you're fighting that desire, but the challenge is that you have buried it under that driveway, under that surface, that we talked about earlier, your soul is deep in the mouthy, because in the sins is because when you are alone, you embark upon those things which you know you shouldn't have, but you have continued in it to what becomes normal.

[SPEAKER_00]: He says, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, [SPEAKER_00]: The Prophet ﷺ said, I certainly know of a people from my Ummah that will come on the day of resurrection with deeds like that of white mountains of taham and of taham is on the western coast of Saudi Arabia that extends roughly from Jed to all the way to Yemen.

[SPEAKER_00]: But then he says, some hana la, fayaj al-Ahaba and mantura, then Allah s-ta'u al-a'u ala'u ala'u will turn those deeds into dust. [SPEAKER_00]: Now let me just paint the picture here for you. [SPEAKER_00]: The Prophet said that they will be salaisalam, he said that they will be people from my Ummah, yani, our brothers and sisters, your brothers and sisters, you and me, they will be people from my Ummah that have a lot of good deeds.

[SPEAKER_00]: He said at the size of the mountain of Tahama, a huge mountain that extends on the west coast of Saudi Arabia to Yemen, but Allah will turn them into dust, a companion named Thoban asked him, [SPEAKER_00]: that they will be, and he's siphoned Lena, described them to us. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, there are brothers, there are people that pray like us to promise a loss of them, affirm.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, they are your brothers, and they will be people that pray like you. [SPEAKER_00]: But the problem is, what I can know from Aquaman, either Hullo, be Mahatma, La, Intahakuhah, may Allah protect us. [SPEAKER_00]: He said, but there are people who, when they are alone with what Allah is forbidden, they violate it.

[SPEAKER_00]: They violate it. [SPEAKER_00]: They violate it, and a law turns it into dust, all that work that you have done, but you continuously indulge upon that, which is how wrong when you are alone, allow me to turn those deeds into dust. [SPEAKER_00]: That is very important for us, because a law scores what you are doing alone, to rectify how you are in public.

[SPEAKER_00]: You know, are you the same man when it comes to you reading Quran, when it comes to you praying, are you the man that smiles in public, but at home you're lying in your vicious to your family, because that is not the successful person. [SPEAKER_00]: The successful person is the one that has integrity, and integrity comes from integer which means whole.

[SPEAKER_00]: That you will hold, you are the same person everywhere you are, you are authentic. [SPEAKER_00]: is that authenticity found and encountered in the Dean of Islam, in a loss of Paratala and what he loves. [SPEAKER_00]: And that is what makes the real man because the man is someone with honor and integrity in who he is.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, he makes mistakes and yes, he tries his best, but when he is alone, he enriches his soul with the remembrance of Allah. [SPEAKER_00]: He doesn't enrich his soul with the remembrance of just tangible things of the dunya, how he can, he's always on his balance sheet, he's always looking at his bank account, and how he can always come up financially, but he's enriching himself with reading the Quran, and looking at the Quran and seeing how he is going to be the people of general.

[SPEAKER_00]: How he's going to be the ones, what Zakat is he doing in this life? [SPEAKER_00]: He's looking at his children and saying, how am I going to remind him about the Dean of Islam? [SPEAKER_00]: the pain of the sins that he's committed. [SPEAKER_00]: A lost point, I'll say, yeah, and I'm a hot in a till, you know, a mental, physical dood.

[SPEAKER_00]: He knows what the treachery of the eyes and what the chest's conceal. [SPEAKER_00]: He knows the treachery of the eyes, what you may be looking at when you're alone on your phone. [SPEAKER_00]: He knows, he's well aware of that. [SPEAKER_00]: Are you something that does into hack and you violate what a lost point is, let's just say, when you are alone.

[SPEAKER_00]: And this is important that we are not performative men. [SPEAKER_00]: and in private with our families, to where the family fears how we may act with them. [SPEAKER_00]: We may be very violent when we're alone with a loss of part of what Dala do. [SPEAKER_00]: We think that, yes, a law will forgive me, or we don't want to face that part of ourselves, realizing that a loss of part of what Dala knows, what you conceal, and what you reveal.

[SPEAKER_00]: So this is the test on this second one, brothers. [SPEAKER_00]: It's really two things. [SPEAKER_00]: When you're alone and you think about what you've done, [SPEAKER_00]: from the sinful practices, from let's say sinful practices, but let's just say from the actions that you perform that you know you could have done better, or the obedience of Allah that you know you could have embarked upon to be better.

[SPEAKER_00]: Did you neglect it? [SPEAKER_00]: Number two, if you were to take away what the actions that you've done alone around people in your last seven days, if you were to subtract every human being from what they've witnessed. [SPEAKER_00]: What are those things? [SPEAKER_00]: Is it actions of prayer?

[SPEAKER_00]: Is it reading Quran? [SPEAKER_00]: Is it sitting with yourself and making thick of a law? [SPEAKER_00]: Subhanu Adala? [SPEAKER_00]: Is it making dua? [SPEAKER_00]: Is there anything that a law loves from those actions of obedience? [SPEAKER_00]: The obedience? [SPEAKER_00]: And that is quote unquote can be determined as the real you.

[SPEAKER_00]: So let's look at these things and realize that that java left to hama, that mountain of tahama and shala Allah will not make it dust when we are alone and know that Allah will hold this accountable for that. [SPEAKER_00]: Number three brothers, it's important to remember this. [SPEAKER_00]: Everything that you built will turn around at the grave.

[SPEAKER_00]: Remember and always try to build that which does not, and that which stays with you in the grave, and is transcendent, even without you doing it, or actually from what you've done. [SPEAKER_00]: The Prophet ﷺ says in a beautiful Hadith, yet to be able to make it to a Thadathatun, that there are three things that will follow the make it the dead person.

[SPEAKER_00]: Aluhu wa Maluhu wa Amaluhu, his family, his money, and his actions, [SPEAKER_00]: Yerujia ahluhu wa maluhu wa yup ga amelu The promise to lie to it was telling him he said that three things will follow the dead person his money, his family and his actions two of them will return they'll leave and one of them will stay his family and his money will turn around and leave [SPEAKER_00]: but his actions will stay.

[SPEAKER_00]: Your sons, your daughters, follow you to the grave. [SPEAKER_00]: They cry of you, they make do offer you. [SPEAKER_00]: They cry of you. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, the money that you spent on them, their clothes, the car that they drove in, the house that they're going back to. [SPEAKER_00]: That money, [SPEAKER_00]: will stay with them.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's not going to follow you, but what will follow you are your actions, the actions that you've implemented with them. [SPEAKER_00]: What are those actions? [SPEAKER_00]: It's beautiful here because when the Prophet ﷺ described those three things that were walking, you think about the great brothers, men that you've invested, this whole family, this empire, let's even say that you've established with your children and your wife, they will all go back and they have their deeds.

[SPEAKER_00]: But from what they do, particularly the children, that is what can follow you from the actions that were mentioned. [SPEAKER_00]: You know, the Prophet ﷺ says in the beautiful Hadith, in the imaginative and adamant Qatua Amatahu illatamin Thedath, when the Son of Adam dies, all of his actions will be mung Qatir that they will be severed, that your account will close, except from three things.

[SPEAKER_00]: What are these three things? [SPEAKER_00]: They are. [SPEAKER_00]: Sada Qatun Jadi Ahtun. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, I'm going to do a new tougher to be, you know, tougher to be, or well, I don't solve it, I don't know. [SPEAKER_00]: The three things that he said are, what a continuous charity, you building a well, you helping contribute to a school, that teaches Islam, et cetera, you having a continuous charity, that charity that you give for people in the Sudan, people in the Gaza people in Kashmir, around the world for orphans, for example, building an orphanage, that will continue to run because it is helping people and people whose lives are being changed and facilitated by it.

[SPEAKER_00]: or Elmanium Tafar Obehing, knowledge that you are giving to people, knowledge of Islam primarily, teaching them about Allah, teaching them about the Messenger of Allah, teaching them about purification of the heart, teaching them about how to be merciful, how to be loving, how to have integrity, and it's all couched in Islam being the motivation of what they don't [SPEAKER_00]: a righteous one, a child that you are giving him, that Emanion to Furabih, that knowledge that has been official, to where it enriches him, to where when you pass away he or she makes dua for you.

[SPEAKER_00]: It is not just the child that has a number of degrees, but he doesn't know Allah. [SPEAKER_00]: You sent him off to college. [SPEAKER_00]: but he doesn't know anything about Islam. [SPEAKER_00]: That will not benefit you in your grave. [SPEAKER_00]: What will benefit you is when he makes too are for you because Bob had taught me how to make too are.

[SPEAKER_00]: I learned about Islam because Bob has sent me somewhere to learn about Islam. [SPEAKER_00]: He turned to learn about God and to learn about how to live my life according to what God loves. [SPEAKER_00]: He has taken from His time and His energy to do so. [SPEAKER_00]: That is what is going to follow you.

[SPEAKER_00]: And how to build that is when you're alone with your child, you sit with them and talk to them about Allah. [SPEAKER_00]: You take them to the masjid. [SPEAKER_00]: You ensure that they have friends that remind them about goodness and that goodness should be attributed to Allah. [SPEAKER_00]: Not to someone that they may look up to, fine.

[SPEAKER_00]: But does that person you look up to remind them about Allah? [SPEAKER_00]: Does that person talk about Allah? [SPEAKER_00]: This is very important, because this is what will follow you. [SPEAKER_00]: This is the success, and this is how you become truly successful. [SPEAKER_00]: Not about the amount of kids that you have, but the kids that you have are they enriched by Islam because of the way you act and what you teach them.

[SPEAKER_00]: This is what is so important, and this is crucial for the understanding of success for the men. [SPEAKER_00]: It's still for the last third one. [SPEAKER_00]: You know the problem is that I'm sitting in a beautiful Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith, Hadith,

[SPEAKER_00]: is good to his family to where he tells him about how to be honorable, but that honor was something attributed to his culture or his family or his father did. [SPEAKER_00]: This is great, but making sure that you end the conversation or within the conversation, the name of Allah's used, that all the goodness that they see from you or all the things they look up to you and in Shala that is good, it's attributed to Allah.

[SPEAKER_00]: This is so important when it comes to the child [SPEAKER_00]: they will make dua for you in that. [SPEAKER_00]: Remember what we mentioned earlier in the introduction? [SPEAKER_00]: When Allah says, Qadah-eflah man-zekhaha. [SPEAKER_00]: He is successful. [SPEAKER_00]: The one that has purified it, af-laha.

[SPEAKER_00]: Fala, really means farmer. [SPEAKER_00]: Fala-ha means the farmer. [SPEAKER_00]: So what has the person cleaved open in order to put in a seed that will grow and be sustained after he passes away? [SPEAKER_00]: This is the eloquence of Allah using this verse. [SPEAKER_00]: And then Zakat purified it by when it grows, he is purifying, he is pruning it, he is irrigating it, he is taking care of that vegetation.

[SPEAKER_00]: Look how Allah uses these two verbs, but it is so eloquent. [SPEAKER_00]: What seeds are you planting in your family in society by giving them knowledge to where they can make do offer you particularly, listen to this, particularly the ones that Allah has naturally [SPEAKER_00]: your children, your children, to be raised upon the thick of a law and the remembrance of God and doing the actions that are good and if there are any good actions it is attributed to a lawsuit, pardon with the Hollis.

[SPEAKER_00]: You have to ask yourself, I'm someone that has 50, 60 employees in my company and I've left my company and I've left the trust for them and they have money to go to college. [SPEAKER_00]: They have money for their children. [SPEAKER_00]: For my grandchildren and they're well off [SPEAKER_00]: But when you pass away, do they remember you making saw?

[SPEAKER_00]: What have you planted? [SPEAKER_00]: If you don't, do you have a well? [SPEAKER_00]: If you have children, do you have a well that you're building? [SPEAKER_00]: Are you a legacy project that reminds people about Allah, that reminds people about goodness? [SPEAKER_00]: This is where you're planting a seed, and it is the actual action, not just the noun.

[SPEAKER_00]: Allah is looking at what you have done. [SPEAKER_00]: He's not looking at the amount of money. [SPEAKER_00]: He's looking at what you've done with the money. [SPEAKER_00]: He's looking at what you've done with the time. [SPEAKER_00]: And that is where the success lies. [SPEAKER_00]: That is what makes you successful.

[SPEAKER_00]: So you look at what is going to be left after a loss in part of what the dollar decides to take me. [SPEAKER_00]: May a loss for the dollar make us a loss of the success in this dunya till where we will be successful in the afternoon. [SPEAKER_00]: So now I want to come back to law.
