[SPEAKER_00]: You know the Prophet Salallahu alaihi wa salam, whenever he heard about someone who's doing the wrong thing or saying the wrong thing, even in public, the first action of the Prophet peace be upon him would be that he would go up onto the member, the sermon on a Friday, and he would not mention a single name, even though he knew who it was, and he would always speak in a very general natural manner, where nobody can tell who he is talking about, and he would say things like [SPEAKER_00]: Why do we hear that this type of action is happening in our community?

[SPEAKER_00]: Why do we hear that some people are misunderstanding this or that or saying this or that? [SPEAKER_00]: And then he would give the advice. [SPEAKER_00]: Because he knows that in the time of fit of anger or when you're embarrassed in front of people or when you're exposed or when you're talked about in the public, you're assisting the shaitan, the shaitan, the shaitan, the shaitan, the shaitan, the shaitan, the shaitan.

[SPEAKER_00]: My dear brothers and sisters, the sunnah is a sanctuary. [SPEAKER_00]: And we don't want to lose in the minds of people, this beautiful sunnah from reaching them because of our actions and our mistreatment to one another. [SPEAKER_00]: You know, the Prophet ﷺ, whenever he heard about someone who's doing the wrong thing or saying the wrong thing, even in public, the first action of the Prophet Peace be upon him would be, [SPEAKER_00]: that he would go up onto the member, the sermon on the Friday, and he would not mention a single name, even though he knew who it was, and he would always speak in a very general natural manner where nobody can tell who he is talking about, and he would say things like

[SPEAKER_00]: Why do I hear that this type of action is happening in our community? [SPEAKER_00]: Why do I hear that some people are misunderstanding this or that or saying this or that? [SPEAKER_00]: And then he would give the advice. [SPEAKER_00]: Because he knows that in the time of fit of anger or when you're embarrassed in front of people or when you're exposed or when you're talked about in the public, you're assisting the shaitan.

[SPEAKER_00]: The shaitan can say, see, shaitan might come to a person that time and say, your messenger of God, look at him. [SPEAKER_00]: He loves to embarrass, he loves to insult, he loves to expose, he loves [SPEAKER_00]: But that's not who the Messenger of Allah said. [SPEAKER_00]: Allah says in the Quran.

[SPEAKER_00]: Speaking about the Messenger of Allah. [SPEAKER_00]: And you are truly upon a tremendous beautiful character. [SPEAKER_00]: It's nothing like it. [SPEAKER_00]: Coupling that with the other verse I recited, there has come to a perfect model in Muhammad Salal ala ala salam, he is our example.

[SPEAKER_00]: So my dear brothers and sisters, the Prophet ﷺ never smashed the bruised read. [SPEAKER_00]: The Prophet Salal ala ala ala salam. [SPEAKER_00]: When they spoke to him, they never spoke to him out of fear or pain. [SPEAKER_00]: They never felt a harsh environment around him, so La Lali was selling them.

[SPEAKER_00]: And he shielded women, especially from harshness. [SPEAKER_00]: He smiled through outbursts. [SPEAKER_00]: He protected people's dignity. [SPEAKER_00]: So to any young person who is here tonight or listening online, I'm sorry. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry to you if you have been through such a harsh, judgmental situation.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm talking to our sisters and our brothers. [SPEAKER_00]: And I'm talking to the young and the old. [SPEAKER_00]: Those people who mistreated you did not represent the messenger Muhammad ﷺ or his Sunnah or the correct Islamic teachings. [SPEAKER_00]: So return and find your solace in the tradition of Muhammad peace be upon him and in Islam in the right way.

[SPEAKER_00]: Increase in your knowledge and seek and pray to Allah and lift your hands and say, Oh my Lord, guide me, protect me and let me find the closest to you in which I find peace in my heart even if everyone was against me. [SPEAKER_00]: and do not my dear brothers and sisters let the shaytan use you and whisper to you in your most vulnerable moments, because I understand how hard it is when you are judge-leaf writing centre.

[SPEAKER_00]: People have been through traumas and we get up to still poke at their wound what happens to them is that they double down. [SPEAKER_00]: You know why they double down? [SPEAKER_00]: They don't double down out of rebellion. [SPEAKER_00]: They double down out of it in a survival mode. [SPEAKER_00]: And as I said before, intellectual [SPEAKER_00]: trauma response.

[SPEAKER_00]: They're just surviving. [SPEAKER_00]: Don't let people see you when you are practicing and you have your be it for example and you pray Masha Allah and you recite your Qur'an and see that that person Reminds them of harshness, judgment, and abuse. [SPEAKER_00]: Let them look at that person and that hijab and [SPEAKER_00]: That Muslim, so that whenever they see them, they feel at peace.

[SPEAKER_00]: For the messenger of Allah alayhi wa sallam said, the best among you is the one who people around them feel secure around them, in their property, in their body, and in their dignity. [SPEAKER_00]: You know, you see a Muslim, you say, that's my safety there. [SPEAKER_00]: That's security.

[SPEAKER_00]: Not, I see a Muslim going to judge me, going to abuse me, going to expose me. [SPEAKER_00]: The Bentemia, Rahmatullah, today, used to say, when you want to advise people under the title commanding good and prohibiting evil, you must exercise three things, always. [SPEAKER_00]: Number one, advise them in secret.

[SPEAKER_00]: Even with this speaking in public, advise them in secret. [SPEAKER_00]: Number two, be patient with them. [SPEAKER_00]: Don't just give up from the first time and start be patient in how you advise them. [SPEAKER_00]: And number three, do not expose them. [SPEAKER_00]: Some people might say, oh, or if somebody goes online and speaks against the religion, I am have to speak up because something done in public has to be rebuked in public.

[SPEAKER_00]: No, who told you that? [SPEAKER_00]: Sometimes it's like that. [SPEAKER_00]: Most times it's not. [SPEAKER_00]: In your online world that we live in today, there are things called algorithm as my dear brothers and sisters. [SPEAKER_00]: And I know that some of our brothers and some of our sisters they truly mean well and they're so sincere and honest when they go to a device.

[SPEAKER_00]: But that's not enough. [SPEAKER_00]: We also have to follow the sun, not the proper size, they'll let them do it with wisdom. [SPEAKER_00]: In a way that we bring a person not push them away. [SPEAKER_00]: And with wisdom as well, algorithms. [SPEAKER_00]: When I go up for example, and I use someone's name, and I call out someone, the internet and social media, for example, is set up by its creators to create drama and polarize people.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's set up for that. [SPEAKER_00]: And I can't believe that some of the young people still, I mean, they know it, but it's like they don't know it. [SPEAKER_00]: And when you start doing that, if the person is truly evil, that's talking public against truth and Islam for example, or anybody, guess what you've done?

[SPEAKER_00]: given them a higher and better and more popular platform. [SPEAKER_00]: People will forget about you and they're going to get the attention. [SPEAKER_00]: What have you done? [SPEAKER_00]: Would you use your brain? [SPEAKER_00]: And if they were sincere or they were going through a struggle and they're trying to reach out in the way that they know to the Muslim community to understand their pain, then you would have only made it worse for that person.

[SPEAKER_00]: I never, ever, in any podcast, in any lecture, in any online video, ever mention a person, [SPEAKER_00]: why? [SPEAKER_00]: Because if you are truly sincere and honest and you want to guide people to the truth and let them see the beauty of Islam, then send the information and the Dawa, the calling to Islam with compassion and mercy and never expose people.

[SPEAKER_00]: If you want to talk about something that someone is speaking wrongly, speak about it objectively, like speak about the topic and [SPEAKER_00]: And that is why our topic that I chose today, or tonight, was so sensitive that I had to make this long first introduction, because I am not speaking about the hadiths of the prophet peace be upon him, the saying of the prophet peace be upon him.

[SPEAKER_00]: And the people who have rejected his hadiths out of any personal or motive of attacking anybody, anybody will lie [SPEAKER_00]: This topic about people who call themselves caught an only people or the new word now had their trajectors, this has always been around for the past 100 and so years.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's not new. [SPEAKER_00]: So when I'm here talking about it brothers and sisters, I'm not talking about a social media trend. [SPEAKER_00]: Come on, I don't, this is not where we spit. [SPEAKER_00]: We don't get into that drama. [SPEAKER_00]: We purely talk about knowledge and guidance objectively.

[SPEAKER_00]: The Qur'an only people in a Hadith rejectors had existed for over a hundred and approximately 50 years. [SPEAKER_00]: And I have been dealing with them for the past at least decade. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't respond to them, but I receive from them private messages on my socials, attacking me.

[SPEAKER_00]: I don't respond. [SPEAKER_00]: Some of them call me kerfir, musherik, deviant, misguiding people. [SPEAKER_00]: Don't you fear Allah? [SPEAKER_00]: Because I speak what the Prophet peace be upon him said, the Hadith of the Prophet peace be upon. [SPEAKER_00]: But I don't respond, and I ask a lot to guide them.

[SPEAKER_00]: But because I've been seeing and hearing from a lot of young people asking me lately, about certain Hadiths in Islam, about this people who are coming up and now talking about only following the Quran and rejecting any Hadiths about Muhammad peace be upon him and leaving his [SPEAKER_00]: Sunnan is tradition out.

[SPEAKER_00]: Some of them are confused. [SPEAKER_00]: Some people are looking at Hadiths and they're thinking they don't make sense to them either because they don't understand the context or the language of it for example. [SPEAKER_00]: Some people are [SPEAKER_00]: feeling that because of the lack of knowledge of the Arabic language, linguistics and context and history, they may feel that it's contradicting the Quran or that it really sounds harsh or sexist or misogynist or unfair and it's understandable.

[SPEAKER_00]: People, you don't have to feel guilty about your Islam if you've got questions. [SPEAKER_00]: Everybody can ask questions. [SPEAKER_00]: the properties we've found have never shut people down and never said you can't question things but question it with sincerity, not by attacking or trying to discredit it.

[SPEAKER_00]: So my dear brothers and sisters know that we have cleared the air on on this which I felt I had to say and ensure a lot cleared our hearts and address the elephant in the room
