[SPEAKER_00]: Show them what today we are going to cover chapter 7 of our book, a handbook of spiritual medicine. [SPEAKER_00]: And the purpose and point of this class is to address those what what science would call [SPEAKER_00]: or what medicine would call like underlying conditions, or you know, you have certain health conditions that are just leading.

[SPEAKER_00]: And then all of a sudden, a person has a stroke. [SPEAKER_00]: All of a sudden, a person is hospitalized because the heart has three of its four main arteries are blocked. [SPEAKER_00]: Why did this happen? [SPEAKER_00]: Because, man, 50 years of eating unhealthy and not doing any exercise and barely getting a thousand steps a day in has caught up to you.

[SPEAKER_00]: So, we address those underlying conditions, right? [SPEAKER_00]: So, in the same way, these are underlying conditions that lead to a devastating result at the end. [SPEAKER_00]: And you might not see them apparent in obvious and it might just be small little things that kind of build up over time.

[SPEAKER_00]: And so one of those illnesses that kind of builds up over time, consider it to be like severe cholesterol, is hussed, jealousy. [SPEAKER_00]: And we talked last week about [SPEAKER_00]: Another illness, which is Karahia Tulkader, which is where a person dislikes Allah's divine plan. [SPEAKER_00]: God's divine plan.

[SPEAKER_00]: And remember, the main point of that, the whole loss of the whole discussion, is that a person, if they have an issue with the way that God has decreed something, then that person is living a very self-centric ego-centric life. [SPEAKER_00]: Anah, anah, anah, anah, anah, anah, anah, anah, anah, anah, anah, anah, anah, anah, anah, anah, anah, anah, anah, anah, anah, anah, anah, anah, anah, anah, anah, anah, anah, anah, anah, anah, anah, anah, anah, anah, anah, anah, anah, anah, anah, anah, anah, anah, [SPEAKER_00]: but they're not looking at the fact that they are playing a small role in the greater picture of the world of all of human life.

[SPEAKER_00]: So it's not just your life or you know one thing that happened in your day, but it's something that happened, the whole event of the universe, that day, that moment. [SPEAKER_00]: You are just playing a very small role. [SPEAKER_00]: And when a person gets upset about how could this have happened to me?

[SPEAKER_00]: then it's like, well, the whole world and the universe revolves around me. [SPEAKER_00]: So basically, you take yourself out of that equation and say that, you know, I'm just a small person playing a little role in the greater meta narrative. [SPEAKER_00]: And I'm just going to enjoy my time on earth, make the best of it that I can, and that eventually it will reward me for it.

[SPEAKER_00]: And we said that a person who is displeased with the God that of a Muslim channel done it, displeased with a lost plan, not for themselves, but for the whole world. [SPEAKER_00]: The meta narrative, a lost plan is not just for you, it's for all of humanity. [SPEAKER_00]: Person is displeased with that unhappy with that, that person is losing their good deeds behind the scenes.

[SPEAKER_00]: behind the scenes. [SPEAKER_00]: It's like imagine that a person is just hoarding their wealth. [SPEAKER_00]: They're making money, and they're putting it inside of their safe. [SPEAKER_00]: But the back of the safe is open and there's a thief stealing it every day. [SPEAKER_00]: And the person has no idea, right?

[SPEAKER_00]: That just, you know, every day, the person's coming in and just taking a few, you know, few dollars here and there, $5, $10, $120, dollars right there, and they're taking a day by day by day. [SPEAKER_00]: The person thinks he's filling up his safe with good deeds. [SPEAKER_00]: He doesn't realize that, you know what?

[SPEAKER_00]: Actually, behind this first layer of good deeds is actually nothing back there. [SPEAKER_00]: The thief is taking all of it away. [SPEAKER_00]: There is another sin that does the same thing. [SPEAKER_00]: Another illness that does the same thing. [SPEAKER_00]: And that is Hussed, jealousy.

[SPEAKER_00]: And not just jealousy, but the word envy. [SPEAKER_00]: We'll talk about jealousy in a moment, but envy is a much stronger form, as a superlative form of that same word. [SPEAKER_00]: The person has Hassed, and the Prophet of Allah said a more andest, that a person who has Hassed is basically destroying himself.

[SPEAKER_00]: She's destroying herself. [SPEAKER_00]: If a person has envy, how are you destroying yourself? [SPEAKER_00]: He says to Abu Baha'a'a'a'a'o-Salam. [SPEAKER_00]: Iyer, from what Hassed, Fa'in al-Hassad, Iyer, Qulun Hassanat, Qamat, Qulunarud, Hapab. [SPEAKER_00]: I warn you against envy being jealous of other people.

[SPEAKER_00]: We'll talk about what that means, what is jealousy, what is envy? [SPEAKER_00]: Having envy of other people, because it will destroy your good deeds, like fire, destroy fire would. [SPEAKER_00]: Imagine that for a moment and what happens like it just just picture because the prophet of a most Muslim is very intentional in his wording so when he gives that example a fire destroying fire wood he's like that is what happens to your SNF that is what happens to your good deed what can you do with wood you can do a lot with it you can use it for so many things you can use it to build the home for yourself [SPEAKER_00]: How many people their houses are built out of wood, buildings are built out of wood, tables built out of wood.

[SPEAKER_00]: So it's a very useful material, something that is necessary and needed. [SPEAKER_00]: If you look around in the universe so far all we know is that Earth is the only place it has wood. [SPEAKER_00]: Does anyone ever thought about that? [SPEAKER_00]: Earth is the only planet so far in the observable universe that has wood, just like it has water.

[SPEAKER_00]: But there's other planets, places that have water. [SPEAKER_00]: But so far all we know is that Earth is the only place that has wood. [SPEAKER_00]: And you think, all this is the benefit that we can take out of, again, trees, with how trees, how would we live, how would we breathe? [SPEAKER_00]: We would suffocate.

[SPEAKER_00]: We would suffocate on our own carbon dioxide, if we work for trees. [SPEAKER_00]: The professor wants to know what it says. [SPEAKER_00]: This integral element. [SPEAKER_00]: of your life right here it is just look how quickly it is destroyed how rapidly it is destroyed I mean we live in California man we hear about these wildfires right and people sometimes intentionally set things on fire right and sometimes it happens you know just by an act of nature and act of a loss of a handle of honor [SPEAKER_00]: You guys saw the stories a couple of days ago in Ontario, California.

[SPEAKER_00]: Anyone saw that story about that warehouse getting burned down? [SPEAKER_00]: This guy is an employee in a warehouse. [SPEAKER_00]: He's angry, upset, upset, you know, basically his bosses. [SPEAKER_00]: The people will own that warehouse. [SPEAKER_00]: He says, okay, I'm going to get revenge.

[SPEAKER_00]: And he decides to set that whole place on fire. [SPEAKER_00]: He just basically sets in it. [SPEAKER_00]: And they own, you know what they own, tissue paper. [SPEAKER_00]: That's it. [SPEAKER_00]: So the whole, it's this bathroom paper, but that's what they sell. [SPEAKER_00]: It's what they manufacture.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's massive. [SPEAKER_00]: We're talking like the size of 10 to 12 city blocks. [SPEAKER_00]: That's how big that warehouse was. [SPEAKER_00]: in total square footage, 10 to 12 city blocks, and it sits on fire and made a video of it, it's online, and the whole thing gets burned down, totally destroyed.

[SPEAKER_00]: And there's no saving, like the entire warehouse, imagine how big it is, you guys should watch that video, see how big it is, they do like a drone fly by of it, and you can see it is massive, and it's charred to the ground, nothing is left, completely gone. [SPEAKER_00]: Damage of around $200 million, $200 million.

[SPEAKER_00]: It just sets a couple of things on fire, it sets this on fire, and that on fire, tissue paper that we use, that's it. [SPEAKER_00]: And to destroy all of that, and not just how much money wealth that was, you know, like we're talking to value, that was, because the person's angry needs upset, and I'm not saying that he was a legitimate, his, you know, grievances, but to cause that much damage and destruction, again, the power of fire, what it does and what it can do, right, and so, in the same way the provisal services as devastating as you see fire, and the same way is that thing that you have inside of your heart, sometimes it emerges, and it will destroy whatever good you have,

[SPEAKER_00]: You think that these things are valuable, 200 million dollars, you think that's valuable. [SPEAKER_00]: But imagine, right, on the day of judgment, how valuable your head should will be. [SPEAKER_00]: How valuable you are, I'm what I will be. [SPEAKER_00]: How valuable you are, I'm a bond will be.

[SPEAKER_00]: On the day of judgment, you will not give you a bond for anything. [SPEAKER_00]: Forget 100,000,000,000 to 100 million dollars. [SPEAKER_00]: We have to care, forget that. [SPEAKER_00]: The people in the grave, they would give anything to relive one-dollar bond. [SPEAKER_00]: They would give all of their net worth times 10, just give me one more bond, so that I can make the most of it.

[SPEAKER_00]: So that I'll be guaranteed in the year after. [SPEAKER_00]: Forget 200,000,000 dollars. [SPEAKER_00]: Let me know anything to me. [SPEAKER_00]: The Prophet ﷺ says that all these good deeds that you value so much. [SPEAKER_00]: And you and I do, I mean imagine, it's hard work, man. [SPEAKER_00]: These good deeds that we do are hard work, much of that you guys come out here on a Thursday night.

[SPEAKER_00]: You'd be doing anything else. [SPEAKER_00]: We'd say to come to the Masha'd and sit in the Docks in a lesson, right? [SPEAKER_00]: And you come to the Masha'd regularly, person fast regularly, they go for Hajjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjj [SPEAKER_00]: Why on earth would you destroy your own good deeds?

[SPEAKER_00]: Why would you destroy your own good deeds? [SPEAKER_00]: Imagine you go by this car in the parking lot and you value your car, you appreciate it. [SPEAKER_00]: You years of savings to get that car, man. [SPEAKER_00]: And then one day you decide, let me just take a golf club and just go to town on this thing and wreck it.

[SPEAKER_00]: Smash it. [SPEAKER_00]: Anyone will look at you and think that you have lost your mind. [SPEAKER_00]: You will be hospitalized. [SPEAKER_00]: There's no question. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes or no, that person is going to be inside of a mental ward. [SPEAKER_00]: How could you do that to something?

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, it's my property. [SPEAKER_00]: I can do whatever I want with it. [SPEAKER_00]: No, no, no, no, we don't believe you. [SPEAKER_00]: You don't believe, no. [SPEAKER_00]: We don't believe that any sane person would do this to their own valuable property. [SPEAKER_00]: That he would do such a thing to something that he has invested so much of his time and money and life into.

[SPEAKER_00]: That he value so much that everyone considers to be important. [SPEAKER_00]: No sane person would smash and destroy their antilids beyond recognition, unusable. [SPEAKER_00]: No one would do that. [SPEAKER_00]: And yet with our good deeds, we do that all the time. [SPEAKER_00]: With our good deeds as valuable as they are, as hard as we work to accumulate our good deeds, it's these kinds of things these illnesses that we have, the fire that we light within ourselves, that destroys these good deeds.

[SPEAKER_01]: We don't even recognize it. [SPEAKER_01]: We're not even aware of it. [SPEAKER_00]: So it's about seeing first of all, seeing the signs and symptoms of that illness. [SPEAKER_00]: Number two, it's about actually addressing it. [SPEAKER_00]: Academically, addressing and treating it. [SPEAKER_00]: And of course, number three is practically addressing it and number four, there are exceptions.

[SPEAKER_00]: Sometimes it's good to have that jealousy. [SPEAKER_00]: And we'll talk about what a couple of loose exceptions are. [SPEAKER_00]: So, what is Hassad? [SPEAKER_00]: What is envy? [SPEAKER_00]: We talked about what is envy. [SPEAKER_00]: So there's a difference, a little bit technical difference in Arabic between Hassad and Rippa.

[SPEAKER_00]: So this is envy in jealousy. [SPEAKER_00]: Let's just say. [SPEAKER_00]: So I'm going to use them interchangeably, but understand that envy is the bad one. [SPEAKER_00]: jealousy is not so bad, okay? [SPEAKER_00]: Envy, what is envy? [SPEAKER_00]: And that Manna Zawad and Amatela Raer. [SPEAKER_00]: That means that you desire a person sees a blessing that someone has, and they wishes that that person loses what they have.

[SPEAKER_00]: Why does she have that? [SPEAKER_00]: She shouldn't have that. [SPEAKER_00]: She doesn't deserve that. [SPEAKER_00]: When people say this, this is a very, very dangerous phrase. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, he's an extremely dangerous phrase. [SPEAKER_00]: And we want to say it explicitly. [SPEAKER_00]: We will not say it explicitly.

[SPEAKER_00]: She has this thing. [SPEAKER_00]: She doesn't deserve to have that thing. [SPEAKER_00]: We won't say that. [SPEAKER_00]: We won't say that. [SPEAKER_00]: But we will say other things. [SPEAKER_00]: We will say that. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, you know, he doesn't deserve that. [SPEAKER_00]: She doesn't deserve that.

[SPEAKER_00]: And we'll just use that. [SPEAKER_00]: This half hazard. [SPEAKER_00]: We'll just throw that out there. [SPEAKER_00]: To refer to anything. [SPEAKER_00]: Something happens to them in their life. [SPEAKER_00]: They don't deserve that. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, she doesn't, yeah, he deserved that.

[SPEAKER_00]: He deserved what happened to him. [SPEAKER_00]: Ask yourself this question for just a moment before you say something like that. [SPEAKER_00]: Or when you hear somebody say that, who are you? [SPEAKER_00]: Who am I to say about anybody else? [SPEAKER_00]: What they deserve or they don't deserve?

[SPEAKER_00]: Who am I to say that? [SPEAKER_00]: How do I know that this person who you know all this person? [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he doesn't deserve what he has. [SPEAKER_00]: What do you mean? [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, how do I know that this person doesn't work so hard on a daily every single day at person is grinding and toiling?

[SPEAKER_00]: Every single day that person is giving sub-taught in charity. [SPEAKER_00]: Every single day that person is praying to hajjud. [SPEAKER_00]: They're fasting all the time taking care of their parents. [SPEAKER_00]: And I'm here saying what he deserves, how do I know? [SPEAKER_00]: How do I know?

[SPEAKER_00]: Or something bad happens, yeah, they deserve that. [SPEAKER_00]: How do I know that that person? [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, they do sins in public, but in private that person is making douba to a lot every night. [SPEAKER_00]: Sad and upset and grievous over what they do. [SPEAKER_00]: It has a very, very evil thing for a person to say that he deserves this.

[SPEAKER_00]: She doesn't deserve that because it means that they have knowledge. [SPEAKER_00]: They think that I think I know, I know full well about everything about that person. [SPEAKER_00]: I know what's in their heart. [SPEAKER_00]: I know all the secret deeds that they do and don't do. [SPEAKER_00]: I know what they deserve.

[SPEAKER_00]: I know what everybody deserves. [SPEAKER_00]: And the person is doing what? [SPEAKER_00]: They're considering themselves like God. [SPEAKER_00]: When a person uses that phrase, they're considering themselves like Allah. [SPEAKER_00]: To say, what somebody deserves and doesn't deserve? [SPEAKER_00]: Because Allah also brought out our only gifts and apportions, a person what they deserve and what they don't deserve.

[SPEAKER_00]: He determines that. [SPEAKER_00]: So for a person to say that, it's as if somebody has something and you say that, oh, he doesn't deserve that. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, but Allah thinks he deserves it. [SPEAKER_00]: So you think you know better than Allah. [SPEAKER_00]: That's what has said is, that's what envy is.

[SPEAKER_00]: See, the thing is that, you know, it should cause a very technical definition, right? [SPEAKER_00]: I will say it's type of culfron. [SPEAKER_00]: Culfron is a type of disbelief, right? [SPEAKER_00]: But we'll say it's like, you know, in gratitude, in gratitude. [SPEAKER_00]: And yeah, these things border on, you know, disbelief.

[SPEAKER_00]: All of these things, they eventually, that's why these illnesses right here, they're just leading towards that. [SPEAKER_00]: Alright, we talked about last week we talked about Karahiyah to look at them, disliking the divine decree of Allah's platform. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, this shouldn't have happened, that shouldn't have happened, it should be like this shouldn't be like that.

[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, so Allah had a plan and you think your plan is better than Allah's. [SPEAKER_00]: We're not going to say this explicit disbelief, but man, that person is very fast, barely towards it. [SPEAKER_00]: And a person who lets something like Hassid, envy, fester in their heart, spread like a cancer, is very fast in moving towards disbelief.

[SPEAKER_00]: In gratitude, why is in gratitude called kufar? [SPEAKER_00]: In being ungrateful, why is it called kufar? [SPEAKER_00]: It is the first step of actual disbelief. [SPEAKER_00]: It is the first step of actual, that's what Shaitan tries to do. [SPEAKER_00]: The very first thing that Shaitan will do is he will make a person ungrateful.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's it. [SPEAKER_00]: When a person becomes ungrateful for what they have, doesn't look at the blessings Allah has given them, then all of a sudden they start saying that, you know, I deserve this, I deserve that. [SPEAKER_00]: What's the point in praying? [SPEAKER_00]: What's the point in all this charity?

[SPEAKER_00]: I did all of it. [SPEAKER_00]: What did I get out of it? [SPEAKER_00]: The person thinks that, I'm just going to abandon my prayers, not that valuable. [SPEAKER_00]: It didn't get me what I wanted, because they're not looking at what they have, they're looking at what they want, but they don't have, in gratitude.

[SPEAKER_00]: And the person is ungrateful, when a person is, you know, not looking at the blessings Allah has given them. [SPEAKER_00]: That means they're looking at the blessings of other people. [SPEAKER_00]: And then that blessing that looking at other people gives them what? [SPEAKER_00]: It gives them jealousy.

[SPEAKER_00]: They start thinking, he has this, he has that, I want that. [SPEAKER_00]: All of this from Ingraditude. [SPEAKER_00]: A person doesn't look at their blessings. [SPEAKER_00]: When they see the people who, or they, they just look at what they have, they think that, I'm owed this. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm owed what I have.

[SPEAKER_00]: They don't consider it a blessing. [SPEAKER_00]: They consider it the result of my hard work, my effort. [SPEAKER_00]: It's not divinely given to me, I earned it. [SPEAKER_00]: I got it myself. [SPEAKER_00]: Then when they see people who don't have these things, what are their thought process about them?

[SPEAKER_00]: It's not that, oh look at this person, I wish I could help them. [SPEAKER_00]: No, what do they start thinking? [SPEAKER_00]: He should work harder. [SPEAKER_00]: She should work harder if they worked as hard as I did, then they would also have what I have. [SPEAKER_00]: Because they're not looking at their blessings as blessings.

[SPEAKER_00]: They're looking at them as if they're owed to this thing. [SPEAKER_00]: And that is, that's all because of what, in gratitude. [SPEAKER_00]: We said, kufran. [SPEAKER_00]: That's it. [SPEAKER_00]: Kufran or neama. [SPEAKER_00]: So it's ingratitude. [SPEAKER_00]: Look at how it opened all of these doors to committing even worse sins.

[SPEAKER_00]: And then eventually the person ends up where, the worst type of person. [SPEAKER_00]: And they're just, you know, teetering on the edge of disbelief. [SPEAKER_00]: All because they were not grateful to Allah. [SPEAKER_00]: That is Shaitan's very first and most powerful play. [SPEAKER_00]: Be grateful.

[SPEAKER_00]: Be grateful for what you have. [SPEAKER_00]: And that is the antidote to Hassid. [SPEAKER_00]: That is the antidote to Hassid. [SPEAKER_00]: To jealousy, to envy is being grateful for the blessings Allah has given you. [SPEAKER_00]: because I guarantee you if you look at what you have and then you look at what somebody else has, you might think he has a nicer car than me and nicer house than me.

[SPEAKER_00]: But I promise you, you have things that that person is jealous of. [SPEAKER_00]: You have things that that person wishes he had or she had. [SPEAKER_00]: Do you think a person they have children of their own and they're looking at, look at this guy, man, he has such a nice house. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but he lives in that house by himself.

[SPEAKER_00]: So do you not think that he is jealous and look, you have a family, I don't have a family, I have a nice house. [SPEAKER_00]: We're always looking at what we own, but it's like the whole grass is green on the other side. [SPEAKER_00]: Everyone else is better than I do. [SPEAKER_00]: And then when we lose one of our blessings, then only then we realize, oh my god, I had all of this.

[SPEAKER_00]: I had no idea. [SPEAKER_00]: And all because at that moment we could not actually appreciate the blessings that we had. [SPEAKER_00]: So Hassan Envy is that a person wishes somebody loses what they had. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, this feeling in itself, if it's a passing feeling, okay, a bubble for a gift.

[SPEAKER_00]: Passing feeling, a bubble for a gift. [SPEAKER_00]: All passing feelings, a lost one that it for a gift. [SPEAKER_00]: Passing thoughts, a lot for a gift, it's a panel done. [SPEAKER_00]: That's what happens. [SPEAKER_00]: A person who fixates and obsesses on these things that person is who's liable.

[SPEAKER_00]: You are now going to be questioned by all. [SPEAKER_00]: As a shape on, we'll whisper it into your heart and we'll whisper it into your mind. [SPEAKER_00]: And then you just stuff it aloud and we'll be like, Mr. Donald, move on. [SPEAKER_00]: No problem. [SPEAKER_00]: Even your own mind, you'll have doubts and you'll whisper, you know, you'll give it to yourself.

[SPEAKER_00]: Sometimes people have an overactive imagination, OCD, whatever it is, right, the person is, for many reasons, a person will have anxiety, worry, depression, and it will bother them these thoughts. [SPEAKER_00]: So if it's unintentional, or less not that it forgives that. [SPEAKER_00]: The moment that a person starts fixating and obsessing and rumenating, and it becomes who they are, now you're going to be held accountable.

[SPEAKER_00]: It looks like, why are you doing this? [SPEAKER_00]: What are you doing? [SPEAKER_00]: And a person might say, okay, I can't help but over-think. [SPEAKER_00]: You cannot help but over-think. [SPEAKER_00]: That's not true. [SPEAKER_00]: It's untrue as false. [SPEAKER_00]: And it's not the case, okay, well, I can't control my thoughts.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, you can. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, you can. [SPEAKER_00]: If I tell you to think about a pink elephant, you will start thinking about a pink elephant. [SPEAKER_00]: When a person says, I can't do something that automatically you're setting yourself, you're closing the door. [SPEAKER_00]: No, it's impossible for me.

[SPEAKER_00]: No, it is possible for you. [SPEAKER_00]: However, potentially you might have to work harder than other people. [SPEAKER_00]: It's that simple. [SPEAKER_00]: You might have to work harder than other people. [SPEAKER_00]: It's that. [SPEAKER_00]: But the harder that you work, the reward you get is also greater.

[SPEAKER_00]: The harder that you work, the reward is greater. [SPEAKER_00]: Allah knows that your test is greater, right? [SPEAKER_00]: In neither of them, in jazat, in neither of them, but, and so, how do you the message to Allah, how do you sell them? [SPEAKER_00]: If you want a great reward, you will be tested with a great test.

[SPEAKER_00]: So a person might say, I have over thinking sometimes, I think these things, and I don't want to, it's unintentional, it's understood. [SPEAKER_00]: If it's unintentional, so I will be learning in jazat, I will be learning jazat, if it's still filled. [SPEAKER_00]: Try and do something to preoccupy your thoughts.

[SPEAKER_00]: If they are persistent and they are continuing to bother you, then you have to take active measures and steps. [SPEAKER_00]: be that talking to other people and to be that, you know, finding, like, a motive, finding a safe, finding a good friend's company. [SPEAKER_00]: Perhaps it is, you know, medicating and I'm very like, you know, hesitant to reluctant about, like, especially psychiatric medication, right?

[SPEAKER_00]: Be very, you know, doubtful about it. [SPEAKER_00]: But there are, you know, more natural methods to actually medicate and help yourself. [SPEAKER_00]: People have been dealing with these things for, you know, Eons and millennia, right? [SPEAKER_00]: Don't think that you were alone. [SPEAKER_00]: Do you not think that people 5,000 years ago were also overthinking and having doubts on uncertainty in whisper?

[SPEAKER_00]: They were. [SPEAKER_00]: but they dealt with these things in their own ways. [SPEAKER_00]: So you also find, but it's upon you, it's incumbent upon you to try to stop these things. [SPEAKER_00]: So this feeling of jealousy, of envy, of desiring that a person loses, well why does he have that odd, is she have that?

[SPEAKER_00]: That feeling, if it passes by your heart, let it go. [SPEAKER_00]: A lot of forgive. [SPEAKER_00]: But a person starts ruminating, obsessing, fixating. [SPEAKER_00]: Starts looking more into, how does she get what she have? [SPEAKER_00]: Does she really deserve that? [SPEAKER_00]: No way.

[SPEAKER_00]: She works this job, but she's driving this car, I don't believe for that. [SPEAKER_00]: Really? [SPEAKER_00]: No. [SPEAKER_00]: It's probably car alone. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, they can't afford that by themselves. [SPEAKER_00]: I must have alone. [SPEAKER_00]: I want to have how long they have on that loan If they're financing this car, I wonder what else they're financing?

[SPEAKER_00]: Probably financing their whole life. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, she's going on vacation Probably finance on a credit card too. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm not surprised right make sense So all of a sudden just that one little thing It turns into a spider web where a person is just obsessing and fixating over with life of another person.

[SPEAKER_01]: That's it [SPEAKER_00]: And then what happens if a person doesn't live their own life, they are living by carelessly through another person. [SPEAKER_00]: They're just looking at what he has, what she has, right? [SPEAKER_00]: So that is blameworthy, it is sinful, and that is what it's destroying people's good deeds.

[SPEAKER_00]: It is that fire that is lit within, and it's going to start destroying people's good deeds. [SPEAKER_00]: So that is something, so those two things, number one, if it's a passing thought, allow a forgive. [SPEAKER_00]: If it's fixation, allow something that I will hold accountable. [SPEAKER_00]: Next, a person can act on their jealousy and people do.

[SPEAKER_00]: We talked about one example here where a person starts obsessing to the degree that it's starting looking into their life. [SPEAKER_00]: What is it really up to? [SPEAKER_00]: How is that? [SPEAKER_00]: I wonder what they're income is. [SPEAKER_00]: Let me look at them up on LinkedIn. [SPEAKER_00]: OK, that's what they're doing on LinkedIn.

[SPEAKER_00]: OK, really? [SPEAKER_00]: Like, what are their connections? [SPEAKER_00]: Where are they working at this company? [SPEAKER_00]: What's the glass door reviews for this company? [SPEAKER_00]: How much are they actually skipping? [SPEAKER_00]: Relax. [SPEAKER_00]: What do you know how much this person makes?

[SPEAKER_00]: Is not going to add a single dime or a dollar to your bank account? [SPEAKER_00]: Yes or no? [SPEAKER_00]: is not going to do anything for you. [SPEAKER_00]: So the person is doing what you're wasting your own time your own life into just kneeling to other people's affairs. [SPEAKER_00]: That's it.

[SPEAKER_00]: But other people sometimes they will get kind of crazy. [SPEAKER_00]: They will actually try to undermine and plot against other people. [SPEAKER_00]: He doesn't deserve it. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to make sure he doesn't have it anymore. [SPEAKER_00]: I need to bring it up with them. [SPEAKER_00]: The person goes, you know, to that person's employee or their employer, goes to their, you know, work.

[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, do you know to this person's like this and that? [SPEAKER_00]: What is it to you? [SPEAKER_00]: What is it to you? [SPEAKER_00]: So people will actually do this. [SPEAKER_00]: Jellacy drives people to the craziest of things. [SPEAKER_01]: Right? [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: A lot of protect man, but you know, you see stories again and again, people killing one another, because he has something that I want to kill him for it.

[SPEAKER_02]: That's it. [SPEAKER_00]: Instead of looking at what they have, do you not look at what you have, and beyond that, like you have freedom, you have life, and you're going to sacrifice your potential 40 years that you have ahead of you with all the things that you have, and in 40 years you don't think your fortunes will change.

[SPEAKER_00]: You don't think your life will get better, but you're so obsessed about this person. [SPEAKER_00]: You're going to take matters into your own hands and hurt that person. [SPEAKER_00]: Now you have given up your entire life. [SPEAKER_00]: That's it. [SPEAKER_00]: Jell is your drives people to the craziest of things, right?

[SPEAKER_00]: It is that destructive. [SPEAKER_00]: Next is, so acting on, obviously, is the evil of all of them. [SPEAKER_00]: But there is praiseworthy actions that can also take place. [SPEAKER_00]: When a person notices the jealousy within them, when a person realizes, I have an envious of this person.

[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I see what they have, and I wish I had that. [SPEAKER_00]: I want that. [SPEAKER_00]: Where I feel like, why does he have that? [SPEAKER_00]: And then a person right away feels regret and remorse for feeling like that. [SPEAKER_00]: For even thinking that stuff would allow, can I think of that?

[SPEAKER_00]: And a person is harsh on themselves, rebukes themselves. [SPEAKER_00]: Person sees a very nice car and they're like, hey bro, he has that? [SPEAKER_00]: Why does he have stuck fit a lot? [SPEAKER_00]: No, he's much less the hard working brother. [SPEAKER_00]: He's a sincere guy, he probably works so hard until he got this car.

[SPEAKER_00]: May Allah give him even better. [SPEAKER_00]: We'll talk about solutions for this as well. [SPEAKER_00]: And when you find that feeling in your heart, that thought crosses your mind, how do you immediately attack it and stop it? [SPEAKER_00]: But if you do so, that is praiseworthy, unless what that reward is a person, for doing so.

[SPEAKER_00]: Next, there's an advice of our Prophet ﷺ and he said, I'm going to give the translation. [SPEAKER_00]: He says that resort to secrecy in your affairs and your matters. [SPEAKER_00]: Resort to secrecy. [SPEAKER_00]: Protect yourself through Kitaman. [SPEAKER_00]: Why? [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, why do you see that's the most of them that you know what actually some things you're most things you should keep secret most things keep to yourself We're not saying intentionally.

[SPEAKER_00]: Let me hide it off you skated, but just don't go around blabbing about things Here's how much I make here's a car I'm gonna buy here's outside live anyways when I do all here's where I'm going for vacation here's where I went this year How much I spent on this and no [SPEAKER_00]: You just live your life, just live your life, but do not publicize your life.

[SPEAKER_00]: The Prophet ﷺ saying, don't publicize everything. [SPEAKER_00]: Keep it to yourself. [SPEAKER_00]: Why did he say that? [SPEAKER_00]: That's some of my heart, he was sending him. [SPEAKER_00]: He says, this will help you succeed in your plans and in your life. [SPEAKER_00]: If you have goals and ambitions and dreams, and keep things to yourself, don't tell everybody.

[SPEAKER_00]: If you're in Nakulna, the ineramatin, my sword. [SPEAKER_00]: He says on Babahari Aoselim, every person who has any blessing whatsoever is a target for envy, is a target for the evil eye, is a target for people's plans against them, ill will and ill intent against them. [SPEAKER_00]: I said, interesting, the prophethood falls on me saying, everyone who has any blessing, [SPEAKER_00]: is a right target.

[SPEAKER_00]: Watch out. [SPEAKER_00]: Someone might say like, oh, look at this guy. [SPEAKER_00]: I didn't know he was rolling like that. [SPEAKER_00]: But he's got a Rolex. [SPEAKER_00]: How can I come in with a Rolex? [SPEAKER_00]: Like, since when? [SPEAKER_00]: Right? [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not showing up.

[SPEAKER_00]: Okay. [SPEAKER_00]: He's playing a smart man. [SPEAKER_00]: He doesn't wear the mess shit, right? [SPEAKER_00]: But so, and then, let me just have to say what? [SPEAKER_00]: Enjoy the blessings that you have. [SPEAKER_00]: He's not saying that I banned and your blessings get rid of them.

[SPEAKER_00]: No intro your blessings in your privacy. [SPEAKER_00]: Do your thing, do your own thing, don't go and publicize it, don't show everybody in the whole world. [SPEAKER_00]: So in two aspects, number one, don't publicize your whole life to other people, especially on social media, number one.

[SPEAKER_00]: Number two, do not look at the lives of other people on social media. [SPEAKER_00]: You are only going to see the highlights of those people's lives, the best elements of their life. [SPEAKER_00]: No one is going to post on their, all of their failures, all of their low points and all of their, you know, setbacks in life.

[SPEAKER_00]: No one's gonna show that to others. [SPEAKER_00]: You're going to keep that for themselves, and when you see only the highlight real, all you're going to feel is that this person lives the greatest life. [SPEAKER_00]: If you watch any any game, if you watch like, let's say you watch like football, it's like 3 hours, you know, for like a game.

[SPEAKER_00]: If you watch the highlight real, it's like 10 to 15 minutes. [SPEAKER_00]: So when you watch the highlight real, you're like 10, and this was a crazy game. [SPEAKER_00]: But then you watch the actual game, and you're sitting there for like, you know, [SPEAKER_00]: 50% of the time, 70% of the time, oh my god, this is a dragging on bro.

[SPEAKER_00]: They're around, okay, great, forward down, punting it, forward down, punting it again, punting it again, punting it again. [SPEAKER_00]: There's like only three touchdowns of the whole game, it's like, you know, two turnovers, but the highlight reel makes it look amazing. [SPEAKER_01]: Wow, look at this.

[SPEAKER_00]: In the same way, social media is a highlight reel. [SPEAKER_00]: It just makes everybody's life look so amazing. [SPEAKER_00]: So, number one, don't put your highlights out there for people to see protect yourself. [SPEAKER_00]: That's the advice of the progress loss. [SPEAKER_00]: And number two, number two, protect yourself also from jealousy by not looking at the highlights of other people in feeling that.

[SPEAKER_00]: Look at the life that they were looking at. [SPEAKER_00]: I wish I could do this. [SPEAKER_00]: A person goes on vacation. [SPEAKER_00]: They just go to, you know, they go to like LA. [SPEAKER_00]: They go to the so-called. [SPEAKER_00]: They go there for two days. [SPEAKER_00]: And in two days, they take 200 pictures.

[SPEAKER_00]: And over the span of six months, they post those 200 pictures strategically. [SPEAKER_00]: And everyone's like, this person is partying at Oakboro. [SPEAKER_00]: They are living their life. [SPEAKER_00]: Look at them. [SPEAKER_00]: Dang, so well, I wish I could live this life. [SPEAKER_00]: That was 48 hours.

[SPEAKER_00]: The guy spent like $200 on his whole weekend. [SPEAKER_00]: And it makes him look like he is, you know, like a world traveler entrepreneur. [SPEAKER_00]: And you're here to tell us of this person. [SPEAKER_00]: See, don't immerse yourself in the lives of other people. [SPEAKER_00]: OK, let's go into actually some signs and symptoms of acid.

[SPEAKER_00]: You have to think to yourself, do I have any of these? [SPEAKER_00]: If you have any of them, then you, okay, I have to address the symptom of mine. [SPEAKER_00]: How do I get rid of it? [SPEAKER_00]: If you have a lot of them, then it's a genuine concern. [SPEAKER_00]: Like, okay, I think I might actually be sick.

[SPEAKER_00]: And if you're sick, then now it's like, I need to have serious, you know, a seriously address this illness. [SPEAKER_00]: Number one, a person casts criticism towards entire groups of people. [SPEAKER_00]: Generalizes it. [SPEAKER_00]: So they might say, for example, like here, he gives the example of other nations, countries.

[SPEAKER_00]: So a person has issue with, let's say, hypothetically, the Gulf countries. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, these go for Arabs, they're like this and the little 500's like this and that. [SPEAKER_00]: Now, in one aspect, it might be true. [SPEAKER_00]: If there's genuine moral outrage, then it's legitimate.

[SPEAKER_00]: That you are there, you are in a vicinity of location. [SPEAKER_00]: You are right by a oxal. [SPEAKER_00]: You're right there by people who are in need and you're not helping those people. [SPEAKER_00]: Look, I mean, you're letting the Jews this run rampant. [SPEAKER_00]: Seriously, the design is a running rampant in causing death and destruction.

[SPEAKER_00]: And you see what the Americans are doing. [SPEAKER_00]: And you're hosting them in your countries and this and that. [SPEAKER_00]: And you're giving money to these people. [SPEAKER_00]: That's a legitimate moral outrage. [SPEAKER_00]: How dare you do this, number one. [SPEAKER_00]: But number two, if a person, if that moral outrage actually stems from jealousy, has to envy that.

[SPEAKER_00]: Man, look at the lifestyle that they're living. [SPEAKER_00]: They have so much money. [SPEAKER_00]: Look at how they're wasting. [SPEAKER_00]: If I had that kind of, I wish I had that kind of money. [SPEAKER_00]: So it's actually envy cloaked in moral outrage, where a person is actually jealous of what those people have and the lifestyle that they're living.

[SPEAKER_00]: And instead of actually expressing that, I wish I had that kind of wish I was a billionaire and living comfortably. [SPEAKER_00]: No, actually, let me just attack them and target them instead. [SPEAKER_00]: And so let me make it actually, so a person is letting out their emotions as a form of anger against them, right?

[SPEAKER_00]: Instead of actually addressing the root cause that you know what actually these people, if only they were to actually help the believers. [SPEAKER_00]: Right? [SPEAKER_00]: And now you have to ask yourself, like, is my moral outrage genuine? [SPEAKER_00]: Like, and it's a legitimate, you should be outraged.

[SPEAKER_00]: But is it genuine or is it coming from a place of, again, envy? [SPEAKER_00]: How can you tell the difference? [SPEAKER_00]: That if whatever little that you have, if you're not using that, [SPEAKER_00]: For helping Muslims in your local area, then it's fake outrage. [SPEAKER_00]: It's faux outrage, FAUX faux outrage.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's not real. [SPEAKER_00]: Then you're actually just jealous of those people. [SPEAKER_00]: Because if you're not helping the local people here, but you're mad at them for not helping their local people over there, then you're actually the only mad at them because they have money and you don't.

[SPEAKER_00]: So if it's actually all, yeah, I'm actually outraged at how or most of them's not helping other Muslims, but you're not helping anybody either. [SPEAKER_00]: You're not actually helping anybody. [SPEAKER_00]: So it's not real moral outrage. [SPEAKER_00]: Then it's actually you have another illness inside of you that's actually causing you to say this.

[SPEAKER_00]: So you got you and I have to ask ourselves, it's legitimate our criticism of these people for what the lack of action. [SPEAKER_00]: But at the same time, they can point at you and I and be like, oh, okay, well, there are Muslims in your local area and your local community who are also starving, who are also going to hardship and difficulty.

[SPEAKER_00]: What are you doing? [SPEAKER_00]: You're not helping any of them. [SPEAKER_00]: So why are you pointing at me and saying that just because I live, you know, a thousand 500 miles away from, you know, these people over here, I need to help them. [SPEAKER_00]: You're not even helping your own local Muslims.

[SPEAKER_00]: Actually, they're right. [SPEAKER_00]: They're not wrong. [SPEAKER_00]: They're not wrong. [SPEAKER_00]: If we're not helping as well. [SPEAKER_00]: But if you and I are actually helping those who are in need around us, then we'll say that look, we are trying to support and strengthen our community.

[SPEAKER_00]: Why aren't you doing the same? [SPEAKER_00]: That's legitimate. [SPEAKER_00]: That is genuine legitimate criticism. [SPEAKER_00]: So we have to ask ourselves when we criticize, especially masses of people, can they also point the finger back at us, yes or no? [SPEAKER_00]: And if the account, then that means that actually it's a genuine outrage.

[SPEAKER_00]: But if they can, then it means that our source of anger is coming from a place of jealousy and not coming from a place of actually care and concern. [SPEAKER_00]: Next, the person is envious of another's possessions. [SPEAKER_00]: So this is like the obvious one, right? [SPEAKER_00]: And the effect of this right, where a person is actually the possessions of other people, they see life and other person is living, and it can actually manifest in the evil eye.

[SPEAKER_00]: That is a very scary thing. [SPEAKER_00]: The Prophet of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of the Law of

[SPEAKER_00]: And that can actually manifest in harm to the second person. [SPEAKER_00]: The person who is actually the victim of it can actually be hurt, physically hurt by this. [SPEAKER_00]: And there's an error in which mentioned that if there is anything that could actually go past the content of Allah SWT and beat the content of Allah and actually get to that person, it will be evil eye.

[SPEAKER_00]: There isn't anything. [SPEAKER_00]: But if there was anything that can surpass Allah's divine decree and go faster than Allah's divine decree would be the evil eye. [SPEAKER_00]: So that tells you how fast it is, basically. [SPEAKER_00]: That tells you that the effect of anything, nothing is as fast as, there's the kodaraba Allah, Allah's decreased first, it's the fastest thing, immediately happens, but the second fastest thing is what the evil eye of another person.

[SPEAKER_00]: That shows you how scary it is. [SPEAKER_00]: There's another narration which mentions that, the thing that enters most people into the grave that causes the most amount of deaths is the evil eye. [SPEAKER_00]: Think about that for a second. [SPEAKER_00]: Most people go into the grave as a result of the evil eye.

[SPEAKER_00]: Now you and I might say, oh, but it's because of this and that, yes, ill, this is can be caused by evil eye, why not? [SPEAKER_00]: How do we know? [SPEAKER_00]: We don't know how the world of metaphysics works, right? [SPEAKER_00]: That is beyond our scope and our perspective. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_02]: To follow. [SPEAKER_00]: Should we talk to the person before, and I mention now, I don't... [UNKNOWN]: Sure. [UNKNOWN]: Sure. [UNKNOWN]: Sure. [UNKNOWN]: Sure. [UNKNOWN]: Sure. [UNKNOWN]: Sure. [UNKNOWN]: Sure. [UNKNOWN]: Sure. [UNKNOWN]: Sure. [UNKNOWN]: Sure. [UNKNOWN]: Sure. [UNKNOWN]: Sure.

[UNKNOWN]: Sure. [UNKNOWN]: Sure. [UNKNOWN]: Sure. [UNKNOWN]: Sure. [SPEAKER_02]: Sure. [SPEAKER_02]: Sure. [SPEAKER_02]: Sure. [SPEAKER_02]: Sure. [SPEAKER_02]: Sure. [SPEAKER_02]: Sure. [SPEAKER_02]: Sure. [SPEAKER_02]: Sure. [SPEAKER_02]: Sure. [SPEAKER_02]: Sure. [SPEAKER_02]: Sure. [SPEAKER_02]: Sure.

[UNKNOWN]: You're saying that it might be something that is, it's like one A and one. [SPEAKER_00]: It's very close, let's just say. [SPEAKER_00]: So firstly, there is a divine decree of a Muslim halal tada, which always obviously is the only thing that is ineffective, truly God's divine decree is always in plain power.

[SPEAKER_00]: But the prophet of a Muslim set up is expressing to you an either power of the evil eye, how dangerous it is. [SPEAKER_00]: As if to say that if there is anything potentially possibly that can go faster, that can override and overcome the divine decree of Allah, if there was anything, though there isn't anything, it would be the evil eye.

[SPEAKER_00]: So you and I were strong, but we're not strong enough to turn overturn a was will, right? [SPEAKER_00]: The angels are powerful and strong. [SPEAKER_00]: They are not strong enough to overturn a was will. [SPEAKER_00]: No profit of God is, no one is able to. [SPEAKER_00]: No one is able to change the divine decree.

[SPEAKER_00]: But if there was something that can go against the divine decree and beat it, it would be the evil eye. [SPEAKER_00]: No, there is nothing. [SPEAKER_00]: That goes to show how powerful it is. [SPEAKER_00]: Now, there is something that can change God that temporarily or, you know, depending it's contingent.

[SPEAKER_00]: But there is something that can change God that. [SPEAKER_00]: What is that? [SPEAKER_00]: Doah, very good. [SPEAKER_00]: The doah of a person can. [SPEAKER_00]: And now this is not, there's different types of cards that are different types of divine decree. [SPEAKER_00]: We'll talk about another time in Shalala.

[SPEAKER_00]: Talk about like. [SPEAKER_00]: So I've made a physics in that respect. [SPEAKER_00]: But there are certain things that, most of them that I've left open in the realm of like, okay, this here can be affected by a person's doah. [SPEAKER_00]: like all of these degree can be affected by. [SPEAKER_00]: So your doha is that strong.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's why I do a can protecting us the evil eye. [SPEAKER_00]: It is strong enough to actually overcome the evil eye. [SPEAKER_00]: Do a for a person who is, you know, who is, you know, my or you and a person has been afflicted by that. [SPEAKER_00]: And that person you can make to offer them, it will lift and shout a mother their evil eye as well.

[SPEAKER_00]: So that's the only thing strong. [SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, the father of Allah is the greatest. [SPEAKER_00]: The evil eye is there, but then right next to it, just one A, one B, one A would be the doha, one B would be the evil eye. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, yeah, so we'll be in the dark and change a couple of courses as well as this default.

[SPEAKER_01]: Sure, sure. [SPEAKER_01]: But sometimes I can have hands in the blank of an eye. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, absolutely. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so yeah, do you protect yourself by [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, excellent. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, how do you protect yourself? [SPEAKER_00]: Very good question. [SPEAKER_00]: How do you protect yourself from this, right?

[SPEAKER_00]: The profit of a loss in a Senate was very diligent upon his I think out of Sabah and Masa, which is the the the supplications of the morning and of the evening and he's on the Bahrain Senate was very very strict on read it I talk closely [SPEAKER_00]: at least five times a day after every single prayer.

[SPEAKER_00]: He said, well, what are you saying? [SPEAKER_00]: We'll specifically ask Allah, Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah, so Allah

[SPEAKER_00]: So, a lot of other specifically revealed these ayat, why for what reason? [SPEAKER_00]: And, nothing, 30-philoquat, those who blow on knots, that's referring to Sahara and magic. [SPEAKER_00]: Sahara and magic. [SPEAKER_00]: Why do people go to magicians? [SPEAKER_00]: One huge reason, if not the biggest reason, not the only reason, but one of the, if not the biggest reason, is jealousy.

[SPEAKER_00]: is jealousy. [SPEAKER_00]: People are jealous of other people, and they will want to break up a marriage, a family, they want to see somebody lose their job, they will see people lose their health, they want to see someone get hurt because of jealousy, envy. [SPEAKER_00]: They're angry and upset at that person.

[SPEAKER_00]: They will go to someone who will do magic on them. [SPEAKER_00]: They will go and magic is a reality. [SPEAKER_00]: We see this in every culture and every single civilization is the beginning of time up until today and up until now. [SPEAKER_00]: And so, at most, not that it reveals in these sort of protection from that, reading, persistently, reading, will add all the bit of bit of bit of bitness.

[SPEAKER_00]: The Prophet of Allah's Lawson and was afflicted by magic. [SPEAKER_00]: It was afflicted by Sahara. [SPEAKER_00]: And he was so diligent and, you know, so strict on his, you know, his readings of all of these things and yet it's still happened to him because it happened on a physical part of his body, right?

[SPEAKER_00]: But you and I, let's say if nothing happens on like in Toronto and nobody takes anything from us right, our hair or clothing or something, but still they can do it by way of looking at you. [SPEAKER_00]: Again, the dangers of keeping your pictures out there. [SPEAKER_00]: Very careful. [SPEAKER_00]: Like, my cousin he contacted me from Canada.

[SPEAKER_00]: He was like, oh, my students over here. [SPEAKER_00]: They're seeing a lot of your videos online. [SPEAKER_00]: And he's like, you know, I recommend highly that you do a lot of, at the car, and that you are doing your music and you're, and he's right. [SPEAKER_00]: He's not wrong. [SPEAKER_00]: He's like, because you never know.

[SPEAKER_00]: You never know, right? [SPEAKER_00]: Somebody might, who knows what people might, you know, intend with you? [SPEAKER_00]: And I have seen, like, people have, you know, like, I've seen things that people have done, say how on, magic on. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, like, objects that they've done it on.

[SPEAKER_00]: And in most cases, it has a picture of the person. [SPEAKER_00]: In most cases, there's a picture of that person. [SPEAKER_00]: And there are things written on their face. [SPEAKER_00]: And their eyes are, you know, crossed out. [SPEAKER_00]: And there are all kinds of crazy things written on the picture of that person.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's why the danger of basically publicizing our lives, which we mentioned as well. [SPEAKER_00]: Right, when somebody sees that, you never know what they might intend to buy it. [SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, it is a reality is very scary, protect yourself however you can, do not publicize all of your, you know, blessings, most, any of your blessings, actually, if you can protect yourself to the best of your ability, be, you know, very strict, read Monson, I highly recommend every single person, just go to Google, put in Monson PDF, M-A-N-Z-I-L, PDF, find it, and just read it every single day, you need to read it one time, right, read it in the morning, a child will give you protection from these things.

[SPEAKER_00]: M-A-N-Z-I-L, or Z-E-L, both of them working, so. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, so next we said is NVS of another person's possessions, people will be NVS of somebody else's possessions and they think that they should have been given that instead of what somebody else has been given. [SPEAKER_00]: He's been given that I should I deserve it over that person.

[SPEAKER_00]: So if you find yourself feeling this, understand that this is a dangerous thing. [SPEAKER_00]: The Prophet ﷺ told us in Sahil Bukhari and Sahil Muslim that what had to have Sahil Bukhari and what had to have Sahil Bukhari and what had to have Sahil Bukhari and what had to have Sahil Bukhari and what had to have Sahil Bukhari and what had to have Sahil Bukhari and what had to have Sahil Bukhari and what had to have Sahil Bukhari and what had to have Sahil Bukhari and what had to have Sahil Bukhari and what had to have Sahil Bukhari and what had to [SPEAKER_00]: I lost one of them.

[SPEAKER_00]: This is what I said to him. [SPEAKER_00]: No one. [SPEAKER_00]: I found one of them. [SPEAKER_00]: I won't be bothered about it. [SPEAKER_00]: Do not desire what Allah is giving other people over others. [SPEAKER_00]: Allah is giving new things. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not giving other people.

[SPEAKER_00]: Think about honestly like you see somebody like man. [SPEAKER_00]: This guy's got it made. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm sure he drives a nice car as a nice house. [SPEAKER_00]: He's a good-looking person. [SPEAKER_00]: He's friendly. [SPEAKER_00]: Everyone likes him. [SPEAKER_00]: But his parents passed away 25 years ago.

[SPEAKER_00]: Your parents are still alive. [SPEAKER_00]: And that person would do anything to be in your position right now. [SPEAKER_00]: He would give up his car, he would give up his house, he would give up his job, why so he could be with his parents again. [SPEAKER_00]: But we don't know that, because we're just looking at the outside, looking at the external.

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, let's crazy, you know, I remember when I was studying, I'm talking from the long time ago, right? [SPEAKER_00]: And one of my, you know, one of the brothers, he was like, maybe four or five years, four years junior to me. [SPEAKER_00]: He goes to one of my classmates. [SPEAKER_00]: And he says, like, man, like, I wish I was like, but, you know, he's got everything set, everything's like, mushroom, like, look at him, right?

[SPEAKER_00]: And then my, and the only reason I found out about this is like, he was not jealous in the bad, but jealous in the good way. [SPEAKER_00]: Like, I wish I had that structure and everything which was set for me, everything was running, you know, the way that I wanted to on track. [SPEAKER_00]: Like, dang, he's got everything set.

[SPEAKER_00]: And then my classmate, he came up to me. [SPEAKER_00]: He was like, you know, it was like some online, just realized, you know, he was talking about, we were talking kind of about this. [SPEAKER_00]: He was like, just realized, like, you know, people only judge based on what they can see, what is external to them.

[SPEAKER_00]: And they would try to trade off their life for the life of another person, and not realizing how much baggage that other person is dealing with. [SPEAKER_00]: And he comes to me, he was like, you know, he just told me he wishes that he had your life. [SPEAKER_00]: But I know what you're going through.

[SPEAKER_00]: And while I, at that time in my life, I was going to like some of the most difficult moments in my life. [SPEAKER_00]: But on the outside, it looked like I'm just chilling. [SPEAKER_00]: Like everything is great. [SPEAKER_00]: And my classmate's like, spawn on a liberal. [SPEAKER_00]: Like he's over there thinking that you're living like this perfect life, and he would love to have your life.

[SPEAKER_00]: But you have, I confided in my classmates, so he knows. [SPEAKER_00]: He's like, if only he knew what you're dealing with, then he wouldn't feel that way. [SPEAKER_00]: If only we knew what people are going through. [SPEAKER_00]: Competing on social media. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm deletional. [SPEAKER_00]: Everybody just come on.

[SPEAKER_00]: You guys are too grown for all that, right? [SPEAKER_00]: So like you can't be a 45-year-old man posting on social media. [SPEAKER_00]: Are you serious? [SPEAKER_00]: Come on, right? [SPEAKER_00]: Here's the car I just bought. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_00]: What would I tell you at that point?

[SPEAKER_00]: Like, what's it? [SPEAKER_00]: Here's the whole thing that I just bought. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know what to tell you, man, you're grown man, right? [SPEAKER_00]: Do some grown man activities. [SPEAKER_00]: So, next, science and symptoms, again, intention and actions to remove blessings.

[SPEAKER_00]: People actually do this. [SPEAKER_00]: People actually do this. [SPEAKER_00]: When they see what other people have, they will actually try to undermine them. [SPEAKER_00]: This might happen in like workplaces. [SPEAKER_00]: This might happen in families. [SPEAKER_00]: It might happen in families.

[SPEAKER_00]: A family member opens a business and everybody is like, because they are jealous of that person, he has the joy of the audacity, the courage, the guts to open a business, they're going to go and say, oh, it's not going to succeed. [SPEAKER_00]: I would watch out for those people. [SPEAKER_00]: Some of the weird going on behind the scenes.

[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know about all that. [SPEAKER_00]: I know these people, it's not going to happen. [SPEAKER_00]: That's why, because the person themselves is not courageous enough to take that step and they are trying to undermine. [SPEAKER_00]: And maybe not intentionally undermining, but they are definitely doing it, talking about it.

[SPEAKER_00]: Happens at work places all the time, right? [SPEAKER_00]: Workplace competition, why worries? [SPEAKER_00]: The person will go, you know, you'll be careful who you will confide in at work, right? [SPEAKER_00]: Consider every single person that you talk to at work to be HR. [SPEAKER_00]: Every single person you talk to is HR because the word is going to get back to them, you never know.

[SPEAKER_00]: That person might be your friend today, and tomorrow, you know, whatever happens and that person just all of a sudden spills all of your secrets. [SPEAKER_00]: Had these are the messengers on the Baja, they would have said to them, right? [SPEAKER_00]: Love a person, love the person that you love to a degree.

[SPEAKER_00]: Don't give them your 100 percent, don't give 99 percent, and hate a person, not 100 percent, hate the 99 percent. [SPEAKER_00]: Don't hate them with all of your hatred. [SPEAKER_00]: Why? [SPEAKER_00]: The person that you love today can become your worst enemy tomorrow. [SPEAKER_00]: The person that you hate today can become your best friend tomorrow, then what?

[SPEAKER_00]: And that person that you love so much, you have spilled every single thing to that person tomorrow, they have every single secret of yours. [SPEAKER_00]: And they will weaponize that against you. [SPEAKER_00]: Be very careful, be very mindful. [SPEAKER_00]: The only one who should contain all of your secrets is all of those panel that.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yuma Tuba da Sarahit. [SPEAKER_00]: The day when your secrets will be revealed, only Allah should hold on to your secrets. [SPEAKER_00]: Have your secrets with Allah's ﷻ, be mindful, be careful, right? [SPEAKER_00]: Be wary of these things. [SPEAKER_00]: When you, I should have said that would I go home and move to the home, Allah ﷻ says the one who is protected, protected from the shah, the desire, that excessive greed of their enough, which is within us, that shadow self that I mentioned, which is within you, constantly wanting an eating bar.

[SPEAKER_00]: Always, it's like a greed is a bottomless pit, no matter what you throw inside, they will always keep on taking more. [SPEAKER_00]: The one who is protected from that greed, lost consciousness, those are the Muflihoun. [SPEAKER_00]: Those are people who are successful. [SPEAKER_00]: Very interesting word that he uses, successful.

[SPEAKER_00]: Why? [SPEAKER_00]: Because you and I look at it, success in life. [SPEAKER_00]: Would you look at a person to person as a hundred million dollars? [SPEAKER_00]: You and I might think that that person is a successful man. [SPEAKER_00]: But he is grinding. [SPEAKER_00]: That guy is doing 20 hours a day, every single day, seven days a week or like brother.

[SPEAKER_00]: Your net worth is in the hundreds of millions of dollars. [SPEAKER_00]: Why are you working so much? [SPEAKER_00]: Because it's not enough. [SPEAKER_00]: He doesn't have enough, he needs more, he wants more. [SPEAKER_00]: He does not consider himself successful. [SPEAKER_00]: You and I consider him to be successful.

[SPEAKER_00]: He doesn't, because he is still greedy for more. [SPEAKER_00]: A lost mother, this is the person who is protected from greed, no matter what he is successful. [SPEAKER_00]: No matter how little money he has, how much money he has, how little or much property he has, how many people he has around him doesn't matter.

[SPEAKER_00]: Because he's not greedy, he's content with what he has. [SPEAKER_00]: And we said that this is another sign and symptom of passive. [SPEAKER_00]: We're a person who is constantly wanting and desiring more because they always see what other people have, not see what they have themselves.

[SPEAKER_00]: And a person is severely occupies themselves with other people's lives. [SPEAKER_00]: This is also a form of jealousy and envy. [SPEAKER_00]: You're constantly just thinking about other people. [SPEAKER_00]: Stop worrying about other people, really, worry about yourself, worry about your family, worry about yourself, worry about your family, cool and full second what a legal matter, protect yourself and your family from the fire.

[SPEAKER_00]: Do not obsess and fixate about what these other people are doing. [SPEAKER_00]: I can guarantee you they are not thinking about you nearly as much as you're thinking about your about them, or even the other way around. [SPEAKER_00]: Seriously, we should not be thinking about other people to that degree in that extent.

[SPEAKER_00]: How do we treat these things? [SPEAKER_00]: Academically, number one, a person is content with Allah SWT, and we talked about this last week as well. [SPEAKER_00]: Person realizes and recognizes. [SPEAKER_00]: This person has to know Allah is SWT. [SPEAKER_00]: Learn the 99 names of Allah in depth, learn who your Lord is your Creator is, SWT.

[SPEAKER_00]: When a person realizes Allah is the most wise, that Allah is the most just, and how he has proportioned everything he has done so out of his justice and his fairness and his mercy. [SPEAKER_00]: When a person realizes and recognizes that, then they are not going to get upset with God, because jealousy is anger at Allah.

[SPEAKER_00]: Any other thing is anger at other people. [SPEAKER_00]: Somebody says something to you, somebody does something to you, somebody says something about you, you're angry, somebody says, you know, however it is, somebody's upset you, okay, you're angry at that person. [SPEAKER_00]: You're angry at God.

[SPEAKER_00]: You're angry at Allah. [SPEAKER_00]: Allah. [SPEAKER_00]: This person has this. [SPEAKER_00]: He doesn't deserve that. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, who gave him that thing? [SPEAKER_00]: Oh my, gave him that thing. [SPEAKER_00]: He didn't get it himself. [SPEAKER_00]: She didn't get it herself. [SPEAKER_00]: Almost rather than gave them what they have.

[SPEAKER_00]: So you're upset with the one who gave them that thing. [SPEAKER_00]: Anger is, sorry, jealousy is anger at God. [SPEAKER_00]: It's a very, very dangerous thing. [SPEAKER_00]: How do you protect from that? [SPEAKER_00]: You learn who your Lord is, Poundalta. [SPEAKER_00]: You learn about His generosity, His mercy, His love, His kindness.

[SPEAKER_00]: And you learn that He is the most just and He is the most fair. [SPEAKER_00]: Poundalta. [SPEAKER_00]: How do you shut envy, okay, by the way, another academic treatment. [SPEAKER_00]: Person realizes the benefits, benefits of getting rid of envy and jealousy. [SPEAKER_00]: Basically, you're like, when you realize a seriousness of like protecting yourself from this, then it will be much easier to act on it, right?

[SPEAKER_00]: That, uh, remember that, um, I mentioned that phrase. [SPEAKER_00]: Manad off a show of Amaya Tlubu, Hanna Ali Hinalyabavulu. [SPEAKER_00]: A person who realizes and recognizes the honor of the dignity, the value of what they are seeking, whatever they have to expend in the path of attaining that thing would be easy for them.

[SPEAKER_00]: When a person realizes the benefits of getting rid of jealousy, they will do everything in their power to get rid of that jealousy, that has it. [SPEAKER_00]: Getting rid of jealousy and has it, and, and, and, and, and, envy will protect you from depression. [SPEAKER_00]: will protect you from depression, because when a person sees a life of other people and they're like this person is like, he must be happy.

[SPEAKER_00]: I see her laughing, she must be the happiest person in the world. [SPEAKER_00]: And seriously, like you look at these, look at Robin Williams, very famous comedian, one of the most famous comedians of all time. [SPEAKER_00]: 15 years ago, committed suicide. [SPEAKER_00]: A man who made everyone laugh, a man who was like a star.

[SPEAKER_00]: Seriously, loved by everybody. [SPEAKER_00]: People had no idea the battles that he was struggling in fighting against. [SPEAKER_00]: Anthony Bourdain. [SPEAKER_00]: That was a big fan of Anthony Bourdain. [SPEAKER_00]: You guys want anything Bourdain? [SPEAKER_00]: I love his shows, man.

[SPEAKER_00]: I spent like my high school, I call his viewers just watching him. [SPEAKER_00]: He actually came to my college campus and I snuck him to go look at him. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not paying $100 for those tickets, man. [SPEAKER_00]: But still managed to see him from a distance, you know. [SPEAKER_00]: I was a broke college kid.

[SPEAKER_00]: One of my siblings would do, right? [SPEAKER_00]: But that was a huge fan. [SPEAKER_00]: And I was a great person, but you know, yes, Juan, good to have a side. [SPEAKER_00]: Can you think this guy who lived, I mean, he lived his entire life just doing whatever he wanted to do on someone else's diamond dollar.

[SPEAKER_00]: He had everything that you could want, at least you and I would think that, but he didn't have one thing, piece of heart, piece of mind. [SPEAKER_00]: He didn't have that contentment. [SPEAKER_00]: We only see what is external and outside. [SPEAKER_00]: And then that makes his depressed cause you're like, oh my God.

[SPEAKER_00]: I wish I could just do that. [SPEAKER_00]: Just travel the whole world, eat good food and just have fun and party all the time. [SPEAKER_00]: What a life. [SPEAKER_00]: You don't have to do anything. [SPEAKER_00]: And that person though he had all of those material things he did not have that contentment.

[SPEAKER_00]: He did not have that piece. [SPEAKER_00]: And he was unhappy all that time that he was doing this. [SPEAKER_00]: In front of a camera, he's smiling and laughing and happy. [SPEAKER_00]: But he's actually unhappy behind the scenes. [SPEAKER_00]: And when a person realizes like, man, I'm jealous of these things.

[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know what battles that they're are struggling in fighting against, right? [SPEAKER_00]: That will help you protect, protect yourself from depression. [SPEAKER_00]: Because you won't think that they have what I don't have. [SPEAKER_00]: I wish I had that, right? [SPEAKER_00]: Next, a person realizes that envy destroys their good deeds.

[SPEAKER_00]: When you recognize you, to realize that you're a jealousy, right? [SPEAKER_00]: A person's jealousy in their envy is just eating away your good deeds, like, you realize, man, it's not worth it. [SPEAKER_00]: Remember what I mentioned at the very beginning? [SPEAKER_00]: And you work so hard to accumulate and amass all of these good deeds.

[SPEAKER_00]: Seriously, you have done your Hajj and you're on your fasting and you're all done in your prayer. [SPEAKER_00]: You come to the message of your charity. [SPEAKER_00]: You do all of these things, but because you cannot help but look at what he has, what she has and desire and want, what they have, all of those good deeds of yours become nothing.

[SPEAKER_00]: How about mental health? [SPEAKER_00]: Person shows up on the day of judgment and because they were an envious person looking at his life in her life, looking at their marriage and looking at their car and looking at their clothes and looking at their vacations, that's all they spent their time doing.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, they built up all their good deeds, but guess what? [SPEAKER_00]: When they showed up on the day of judgment, there were no good deeds left, why not? [SPEAKER_00]: Because the entire time that person was accumulating good deeds, they were upset with Allah's decree. [SPEAKER_00]: They were unhappy with Allah's plan.

[SPEAKER_00]: They were unhappy with Allah's proportioning of the risk that he gave to everybody, including them and other people. [SPEAKER_00]: So they lived their whole life all the five daily prayers and all of this that they were doing. [SPEAKER_00]: They were doing it while they were mad at Allah.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's what envy is, anger at God. [SPEAKER_00]: Imagine a person is praying five times a day, but he's angry with Allah. [SPEAKER_00]: What good deed you think he's gonna have on the day of judgment? [SPEAKER_00]: You think Allah's gonna accept that prayer? [SPEAKER_00]: Get out of here, man.

[SPEAKER_00]: You have hatred in your heart against me. [SPEAKER_00]: You're upset with me, you're angry at me. [SPEAKER_00]: Allah's not gonna give them anything. [SPEAKER_00]: So again, realizing the dangers and the evils of envy. [SPEAKER_00]: Practical treatments for this that a person acts contrary to their Caprice to their to their how up.

[SPEAKER_00]: What does that mean? [SPEAKER_00]: That when these thoughts come to your mind When these feelings come to your heart a person actively fights against them Actively fights against them when a negative thought comes about a person other person a person you make to offer that person Persons jealous you see somebody's car has a nice car I like to make a one give them better immediately you attack that thought in your mind that feeling in your heart with something positive [SPEAKER_00]: When you see somebody, a person has a happy marriage, like, may Allah bless them in that marriage.

[SPEAKER_00]: May Allah give them even, may Allah give them righteous children. [SPEAKER_00]: Person is a nice house, may Allah preserve this house and give them even more. [SPEAKER_00]: Instead of like, I wonder, are they paying like, say, God, don't know the money that they have? [SPEAKER_00]: Like, how do they get there?

[SPEAKER_00]: Based on mortgage, how do they, instead of, I wonder how much they're mortgages. [SPEAKER_00]: Instead of saying something like that, it's may Allah protect them, preserve them and give them more and better. [SPEAKER_00]: That is going to, again, we're going to clean that heart of ours in chocolate, of these negative thoughts of other people.

[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, imagine how sad of a story it would be. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, like, kind of just imagine for a moment how sad of a story it would be. [SPEAKER_00]: You live your entire life, devoted to Allah's Father. [SPEAKER_00]: You live as a Muslim. [SPEAKER_00]: You pray you do every single thing, but you show up on the day of judgment and you have zero good deeds.

[SPEAKER_00]: Why? [SPEAKER_00]: Because the entire time, you're just looking at other people, what they have, what they don't have, what you wish you had, what you didn't have this in the, as how you spent your life. [SPEAKER_00]: I've just jealousy envy. [SPEAKER_00]: Looking at people and just judging your life and comparing your blessings to other people's blessings.

[SPEAKER_00]: unhappy with Allah's decree. [SPEAKER_00]: That is the saddest story. [SPEAKER_00]: That whole life was worthless, pointless. [SPEAKER_00]: Don't you want to protect yourself from that? [SPEAKER_00]: Don't I want to protect myself from that? [SPEAKER_00]: How easy is it? [SPEAKER_00]: When you see the blessings of other people, Allah preserve that blessing, Allah give them even more.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's it. [SPEAKER_00]: When a person feels something negative in their heart against somebody, again, if you're like, you know, I can say something that's going to hurt them. [SPEAKER_00]: I can say something that's going to or I can do something that might pull the rug out from underneath their feet.

[SPEAKER_00]: How do I protect myself from that? [SPEAKER_00]: Actively go and help that person. [SPEAKER_00]: Give them a gift? [SPEAKER_00]: Seriously. [SPEAKER_00]: Whatever it is. [SPEAKER_00]: I'll punch them, right? [SPEAKER_00]: That's another solution, right? [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if that's going to work, potentially, but I might make things a little worse for you.

[SPEAKER_00]: But various, I mean, seriously, you're at the checkout line at a store, okay, buy a $2 or a chocolate. [SPEAKER_00]: And then you see the, hey, brother, I just thought about you. [SPEAKER_00]: I know that you like this. [SPEAKER_00]: Just give it to them. [SPEAKER_00]: There you go. [SPEAKER_00]: You are forcing yourself.

[SPEAKER_00]: You are forcing yourself to remove that feeling in your heart. [SPEAKER_00]: That negativity that you have in your getting rid of it. [SPEAKER_00]: And that applies to everybody, not just to your enemies in child life, applies to friends and family. [SPEAKER_00]: You wouldn't increase in your love for people in such an easy life hack to just steal the hearts of people.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's so easy. [SPEAKER_00]: Guys, it's so easy. [SPEAKER_00]: You cannot be mad at somebody who gives you get things. [SPEAKER_00]: You just can't, to try, try. [SPEAKER_00]: You're gonna be like, oh, this guy, he's like this and she's like that. [SPEAKER_00]: And the person goes and gives you like, you know, $100 gift, $50 gift, $20 gift, they come and give you like a bar or a chocolate, oh, I thought about you, I know you like this.

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I went somewhere for vacation. [SPEAKER_00]: Here's a tiny little magnet to put on your fridge across 50 cents. [SPEAKER_00]: Like you thought about me, you thought of, I'm just some random person, you thought of that person, that person will feel guilty. [SPEAKER_00]: You will feel guilty for having any harboring, any ill will against that person.

[SPEAKER_00]: How can I think bad about them? [SPEAKER_00]: How can I feel bad? [SPEAKER_00]: This person gives me gifts and I feel bad about them stuff. [SPEAKER_00]: I was wrong with me. [SPEAKER_00]: You're going to get upset at yourself. [SPEAKER_00]: You're going to start cursing yourself out with that heck is wrong with me, man.

[SPEAKER_00]: This is a generous person. [SPEAKER_00]: I thought so badly about them, but look how nice they are. [SPEAKER_00]: How kind they are. [SPEAKER_00]: Again, easy life hack to remove ill will in our hearts, number one, and number two, to win the hearts of other people, give gifts. [SPEAKER_00]: I did the Prophet the Law of Selam, the Hadduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduhduh [SPEAKER_00]: Instead of just looking at what other people have from outside, actually go and increase them in that.

[SPEAKER_00]: Then we said that you should make to offer those people as well. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, finally we're going to talk about two exceptions. [SPEAKER_00]: We're going to conclude with this in Shah'Allah. [SPEAKER_00]: That there is Hadith Al-Bha'F-Sawwassana, which says that, that has to be in La Fith Nathain.

[SPEAKER_00]: That there is no jealous envy except in two regards. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, by the way, this Hadith is very interesting, because the Prophet ﷺ used the word has said, has to be which we said is an evil thing, which is desiring the person loses their blessings. [SPEAKER_00]: However, he does not intend the word has said, [SPEAKER_00]: The Prophet ﷺ, though he used the word Hassid, he does not use it or intend it in the way that we understand it.

[SPEAKER_00]: He intends it by another word called Rebapah. [SPEAKER_00]: Rebapah is where you see a blessing a person has, and you're like, Mashallah man, look at that. [SPEAKER_00]: I wish I could do that as well. [SPEAKER_00]: I wish I also had that, because they were doing so much good with it. [SPEAKER_00]: I wish that I also had that.

[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want them to lose what they have. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm proud of them, I'm like, man, look at this person. [SPEAKER_00]: He's hard working, look at how much effort she had to put into attention what she has. [SPEAKER_00]: Like, oh, they have a good marriage, I'm sure that they have to work hard for it.

[SPEAKER_00]: He has a nice car, I'm pretty sure he worked years until he bought that car, right? [SPEAKER_00]: This person is well-spoken, I'm sure that it took him time to become articulate. [SPEAKER_00]: Whatever it is, when you see a blessing of another person, then you're like, I wish I could also do what they are doing.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's good, that's not a bad thing, that's a good thing to do. [SPEAKER_00]: Right, but the purpose also means the word has said, though he meant the word of Lipta, that's why it's very important and crucial that we learn our Ahaidi from our teachers. [SPEAKER_00]: When I read this Ahaidi, it confused me, because the word is has said.

[SPEAKER_00]: So I go out of my teacher, I'm like, a strategy, like, what does this, you know, must decide, like, this is what it says right here. [SPEAKER_00]: The purpose also means saying has said, but where a lot of Ahaidi has said, because I know Ahaidi means one thing, he says, no, that Shorah, those who explain Ahaidi, say he means by it's a little said, a Lipta.

[SPEAKER_00]: And we, just like you and I use the words jealousy and envy interchangeably, as I said at the beginning, in the same way the prophecy was using those words interchangeably. [SPEAKER_00]: It is permissible in two aspects. [SPEAKER_00]: Number one, is a person who allows the panel to give in wealth, given money.

[SPEAKER_00]: And they spend that money without any care or concern. [SPEAKER_00]: helping other people. [SPEAKER_00]: Like they're very open-handed. [SPEAKER_00]: Allah's given them a lot of wealth. [SPEAKER_00]: He has made them rich and they use that money to just help. [SPEAKER_00]: They just give.

[SPEAKER_00]: They do not hoard that wealth. [SPEAKER_00]: And I will tell you. [SPEAKER_00]: I'll tell you. [SPEAKER_00]: Brother, this is who we're here. [SPEAKER_00]: In Ramadan, we had a Janazi here at Lohar time. [SPEAKER_00]: Middle of the week for, you know, Sayyid Hisham Aduhsi. [SPEAKER_00]: We had a Janazi here at Lohar time.

[SPEAKER_00]: I've never seen a Janazi like that here in the Bay Area. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not kidding, like I'm putting up a little hard like 10 minutes before and I'm driving from down to one vista and people are walking two blocks, three blocks down, they were like, why are there Muslims walking here at one, one, 20 on the random weekday?

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, shouldn't they be home or at work was going on? [SPEAKER_00]: So I come here in the entire, or measure this full, the entire courtyard is full, all the rooms are full. [SPEAKER_00]: There's a person he's a philanthropist and he gave over $800 million in charity in his lifetime. [SPEAKER_00]: $800,000.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: That's a problem. [SPEAKER_00]: Again, this is a person that you're jealous of, like, so Honla, this person who lived dedication to other people, right, just giving and helping. [SPEAKER_00]: I'll give them so much. [SPEAKER_00]: But looking, he spent all of his life just giving and helping other people.

[SPEAKER_00]: However, he could. [SPEAKER_00]: That's a gentleman. [SPEAKER_00]: So that you, we envy people's lives. [SPEAKER_00]: Do we envy people's debts? [SPEAKER_00]: Look at the life that he's living. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but look at that depth of this person had. [SPEAKER_00]: Like I'm here and I led the little hot of prayer.

[SPEAKER_00]: I guarantee you, there were like 20 people in the mess should who are 10 times more qualified than me to leave the little hot of prayer. [SPEAKER_00]: It was filled with shuyu, scholar, students, filled with plants or if land surface and filled with like wealthy people, I'm just looking at him like man, so hang on.

[SPEAKER_00]: He was on a scholar. [SPEAKER_00]: He was like a regular ordinary working man. [SPEAKER_00]: But he dedicated his life to helping other people. [SPEAKER_00]: And that's what the Prophet ﷺ is talking about those people. [SPEAKER_00]: So we have hope that last one that it gives them the best of this life of the year after.

[SPEAKER_00]: Right? [SPEAKER_00]: That's number one. [SPEAKER_00]: Number two is the person that I give knowledge of the Quran, knowledge of the Dean. [SPEAKER_00]: And they spend that time morning and night helping other people, teaching other people. [SPEAKER_00]: When you hear a person, they read the Quran beautifully.

[SPEAKER_00]: You're like, oh, I wish I could also read it like that. [SPEAKER_00]: Persons memorize the Quran. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I wish I could do that. [SPEAKER_00]: Persons can explain the Quran. [SPEAKER_00]: I wish I had understanding of the Quran and the Hadith like this in this way. [SPEAKER_00]: That jealousy is a good jealousy.

[SPEAKER_00]: Because you're like, because that is your jealous, like your envious of the right thing. [SPEAKER_00]: Your priorities are in the right place because you realize like how valuable the Quran is and somebody has the Quran You value the Ahadith and you realize he has so many so much knowledge of the Ahadith I wish I had that knowledge instead of being jealous over what what a great car He has I wish I had that car so we're prioritizing the wrong thing We're thinking the car is valuable and the Quran is not we're thinking the house's valuable and the Ahadith are not Those are the people we should be jealous of [SPEAKER_00]: We should be jealous of our scholars, we should be jealous of our students of knowledge.

[SPEAKER_00]: People can read the Quran and the people can teach that they're religion in the deemed to us. [SPEAKER_00]: Those are people we should be jealous of. [SPEAKER_00]: And that jealousy should drive action. [SPEAKER_00]: Like we see a person with a nice car, you're like, I want to work hard until I can have that kind of car too.

[SPEAKER_00]: In the same way, when you hear and we see people of knowledge, that jealousy should drive action. [SPEAKER_00]: I need to learn. [SPEAKER_00]: It's never too late. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, lights never, ever too late. [SPEAKER_00]: How many of us saw how well they accepted Islam in their 30s, 40s, and 50s?

[SPEAKER_00]: I look at where they became. [SPEAKER_00]: So the antidote to these things is action, not in action. [SPEAKER_00]: Don't spend your time just staring and looking at the dunya of other people. [SPEAKER_00]: Go out there and build your ahra. [SPEAKER_00]: May Allah SWT protect us from jealousy.

[SPEAKER_00]: Amen.
