[SPEAKER_00]: Imagine you had the opportunity for one day in your life, just one, in which a loss of Hanohatana allowed you to see a lot of the things that you already believe in, that our eyes cannot see, the world of the unseen. [SPEAKER_00]: Imagine, for example, you walk into the message on time before the Adan for Juma, and you saw as you hear in the Haditha angels that are recording the names of every person [SPEAKER_00]: And as soon as they hear the Adhan, or as soon as they hear the Salam for the Hothva, they wrap up their scrolls and they start to listen.

[SPEAKER_00]: Imagine you could see when you stood for prayer today in every day. [SPEAKER_00]: As though, Jen Noah's in front of you, the rewards you were getting for prayer, or yourself standing on the day of judgment, and being asked about Salah before anything else. [SPEAKER_00]: Imagine a situation where you give a charity no one else, new about.

[SPEAKER_00]: And automatically you saw a situation where it was light in the grave and shade on the day of judgment. [SPEAKER_00]: Imagine a situation where generally speaking, you're kind and unthanked for a lot of things you do a lot of your sacrifices at home at work with Muslims, non-Muslims, and a lot of panilatada appreciated what you did, and you saw the massive reward for it.

[SPEAKER_00]: I think generally speaking we would agree that if we could see with our eyes the world of the unseen for a day, that things would be different. [SPEAKER_00]: But the harder question we should ask is why should they be different? [SPEAKER_00]: These are realities we already believe in. [SPEAKER_00]: These are realities here in this message right now.

[SPEAKER_00]: These are realities that are with us until we die and after our death. [SPEAKER_00]: And what's remarkable about this is that at the very beginning of the Qur'an, when you recite from Surah-Tul-Bakara from the very beginning, Allah SWT mentions that the Qur'an is a guide, a book of guidance for those who have God consciousness, those who care about the rights of God.

[SPEAKER_00]: The very first trait Allah shares about the believers is not their prayer. [SPEAKER_00]: It's not their charity, Aladina Yutminuna Bilaite, those who believe in the world of the unseen, Al-Rib, just to define it properly, is the world that Allah SWT prevented us from accessing. [SPEAKER_00]: In this world, in terms of our empirical experiences, your eyes, your ears cannot access in this world.

[SPEAKER_00]: So then you cannot take the tool of science which focuses on the physical realm and say, well, I can't see it there for it's not real. [SPEAKER_00]: Allah SWT gave us an opportunity, the mind and reasoning, the ability to see many signs of God within us and around us and in science as well.

[SPEAKER_00]: Give us the ability to see clearly. [SPEAKER_00]: rationally, that the Quran is the book of God, that the Quran is miraculous, that the Prophet ﷺ is the messenger of God. [SPEAKER_00]: When the intellect finds this to be the logical truth, then everything within it of revelatory information about the unseen world becomes logically necessary.

[SPEAKER_00]: It would be unreasonable for someone to say clearly the Quran is divine but angels I cannot [SPEAKER_00]: And we could talk about this for hours. [SPEAKER_00]: But if we could have at least a central question for the rest of Surat al-Bappara and for our Khutbah today, the question becomes will the unseen world el-Layb?

[SPEAKER_00]: And that includes the reality of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ana that includes the angels that includes the rewards you get and the sins that are written, that includes what happens in the grave and on the day of judgment. [SPEAKER_00]: Will the unseen world govern what you do in the scene world?

[SPEAKER_00]: What you do here and now? [SPEAKER_00]: And we can look at this from three different angles. [SPEAKER_00]: The first is who are you behind closed doors? [SPEAKER_00]: Who are you and no one else is watching? [SPEAKER_00]: We all know the story of Yusuf Ali Hisida. [SPEAKER_00]: He's young, he was enslaved.

[SPEAKER_00]: He's in the palace of the one of the ministers far away from anyone who knows him far away from family. [SPEAKER_00]: And the wife of the minister tries to seduce him. [SPEAKER_00]: And what does she do? [SPEAKER_00]: She also locks the doors with a lot of katil Abwam. [SPEAKER_00]: She locks the doors.

[SPEAKER_00]: Why so the other people do not see? [SPEAKER_00]: You cannot lock the doors away from the reality of a massive panotaid as knowledge. [SPEAKER_00]: You cannot prevent a massive panotaid from knowing what it is that's happening when no one else is around. [SPEAKER_00]: And so as the doors are locked here, we may think of one category of temptation or sin.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's unfortunately more prevalent in the world today because of devices and social media and it becomes a greater test for people to restrain. [SPEAKER_00]: But this applies to all categories of actions. [SPEAKER_00]: For example, for those who are married, the tone of a husband with a wife or a wife with her husband.

[SPEAKER_00]: Right after they were very charming with their guess, the tone of abuse. [SPEAKER_00]: or harm, or something that a loss with panellatata is displeased with. [SPEAKER_00]: It might be the case for some people that they're mistreating an elderly, elderly parent to just loss their patients.

[SPEAKER_00]: It might be the case for some people that they're in group chats where backbiting is very common, talking about people, knowingly or by name is very common and no one really objects to it or defends the honor of their brother and their sister. [SPEAKER_00]: It might be the case for some people that they're cutting corners at work or they're taking things or resources or time that they shouldn't be paid for.

[SPEAKER_00]: For some people it's their browser history. [SPEAKER_00]: For some people it's thinking that no one else is watching. [SPEAKER_00]: and trying their best to ensure that they're able to be alone in private to disobey Allah when Aya'du billah, rather than what, looking forward to Hallua for Salah, for Qiyam, for recitation, for Dua, May Allah forgive us for the public and the private.

[SPEAKER_00]: The sins we remember and the sins that we forgot. [SPEAKER_00]: The Prophet ﷺ said something very heavy, and it's a reminder for us just to balance our deeds, our journey towards Allah. [SPEAKER_00]: He said, Ali Salatu, Salam Nahalitha, has been authenticated. [SPEAKER_00]: La Alamanna ahwam and min umma tiyatunayam al-Qiyama tibhahsana tindam thali jibali tihamata baiwan that there will be people from my umma who will show up on the day of judgment with good deeds like the mouth in range, the white mouth in range of tihamat fayajaluh Allah Muhammad al-Mantura.

[SPEAKER_00]: and then Allah will cause those deeds of believers to be like dust that is scattered. [SPEAKER_00]: At the very end of the Khalid, he describes when the Sahaba asked about these individuals, these Muslims. [SPEAKER_00]: He said, Aqwam on either Hala, Bihara, Milla, Hintahakuhah. [SPEAKER_00]: These are people who and they're left alone in private with the prohibitions.

[SPEAKER_00]: of Allah that they violate them. [SPEAKER_00]: These are Muslims who when they're left alone in private with the prohibitions of Allah that they violate them. [SPEAKER_00]: Mowans of good deeds could be raised for a lifetime of consistently committing private sin and not returning to Allah.

[SPEAKER_00]: refusing to repent. [SPEAKER_00]: Refusing to change. [SPEAKER_00]: Now this is not referring to the one who is constantly trying and they are performing Taba and they never give up hope and they're trying new strategies and they change their environment or their triggers. [SPEAKER_00]: This is referring to the people who become comfortable and have accepted a part of their identity that constantly falls into the prohibitions of Allah when no one else is around.

[SPEAKER_00]: that in other words, a loss of panotana as their audience is no longer the greatest cancer. [SPEAKER_00]: And we ask a lot of protect us from that. [SPEAKER_00]: And so on this first note, who are you behind closed doors? [SPEAKER_00]: On this first note, we ask, or we emphasize, that there's a distinction between no one can see me, versus there's no consequence for this.

[SPEAKER_00]: No one amongst the beings can see me, versus no one divine can watch. [SPEAKER_00]: The angels are recording and they never stop. [SPEAKER_00]: Allah is a witness, what kafabilah isahida. [SPEAKER_00]: Number two. [SPEAKER_00]: is the question, who are you when your good deeds, when your kindness, when your goodness goes unseen?

[SPEAKER_00]: Al-Rib is not only a warning for the first scenario that we just gave. [SPEAKER_00]: Belief in Al-Rib also is a consolation for many Muslims, especially in 2022, when many people are so concerned with credit, with social media, with following, with fame, with recognition, or they're comparing their lives to other people.

[SPEAKER_00]: And they start to feel emptier about the good that they're doing that's not really recognized in society. [SPEAKER_00]: It may be a mother who's literally with her children 24-7. [SPEAKER_00]: It may be someone who's not looking for anything public but they're doing a lot of private volunteers and more work.

[SPEAKER_00]: It might be a son or daughter, slowly and gradually over the years taking care of their parents' bills or their health the same way their parents took care of them. [SPEAKER_00]: It might be a situation where someone has the opportunity [SPEAKER_00]: to cut corners at work or to steal or to get ahead in their business or industry in some way.

[SPEAKER_00]: And of course, they're visibly poorer because they refuse. [SPEAKER_00]: They're visibly limited because they refuse to cut corners. [SPEAKER_00]: It might be someone who prays Kriamul-leid. [SPEAKER_00]: No one else has to know. [SPEAKER_00]: And we know this reality. [SPEAKER_00]: Allah SWT reminds us in the la-Dinah-yah-shou'n Arabahum Bill-Raibi, la-Hum-Mar-Firatun, who adjoin Kabir, those who worship the Lord, Bill-Raibi, you cannot see Allah with your eyes, nor where you meant to see Him with your eyes in this world.

[SPEAKER_00]: That reward is for the people of Jannah, may Allah grant us Jannah. [SPEAKER_00]: Someone asked one time, what is one of many wisdoms [SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, even if we don't know the wisdom, Allah's Ahkamul Hakimini is still the test of life is still there. [SPEAKER_00]: But what's one wisdom, one of many wisdoms is that there are certain moral traits you develop when you don't see with your eyes.

[SPEAKER_00]: When you cannot see things right in front of you. [SPEAKER_00]: And there are many examples, clumsy analogies, even at the worldly level. [SPEAKER_00]: There are many people who are tested for their trustworthiness at work. [SPEAKER_00]: Students, in terms of not cheating at school, especially with AI.

[SPEAKER_00]: There are many people who are tested, but as soon as the cameras on, soon as the bosses in the room, as soon as they are being monitored, the behavior changes. [SPEAKER_00]: And it's a reminder that part of the concept of hiddenness is that there's just the right amount of hiddenness in this world for someone's heart to be tested, not their eyes.

[SPEAKER_00]: Because there are many people who cannot see physically, may Allah bless them for their patients [SPEAKER_00]: And yet, they might have the strongest of Eman. [SPEAKER_00]: So, an Eman-by-l-Rib is one of the things that trains us throughout life to become better people. [SPEAKER_00]: And it's part of the reward as well in the afterlife.

[SPEAKER_00]: There's another example where I'm going to put up with the Allah who I've heard from the Prophet. [SPEAKER_00]: Sallallahu alaihi wa-sallam and al-Sahaba were excited about this, that there's going to be a man that you meet. [SPEAKER_00]: And this is a very righteous man. [SPEAKER_00]: He takes care or honors his mother.

[SPEAKER_00]: If he were to make any dua Allah would accept it. [SPEAKER_00]: So if you see him, ask him to ask Allah to forgive you. [SPEAKER_00]: And of course, this is a way of cutting from the area of Yemen, who the only thing we know about him is that he served his mother. [SPEAKER_00]: The only thing we know about him is that he was very honorable in how he treated his mother.

[SPEAKER_00]: The only Allah who I am. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to put up, doesn't know who to look for though. [SPEAKER_00]: There's no physical description. [SPEAKER_00]: And sometimes we do judge by appearances. [SPEAKER_00]: Sometimes, unfortunately, we're very quick, even as Muslims, to judge by appearances.

[SPEAKER_00]: And so you look at the Prophet Salallahu alaihi sallam statement that there are many disheveled people, perhaps turned away metforan, built up why be turned away from people's doors, meaning people don't really like them. [SPEAKER_00]: Muslims may not really look twice at them. [SPEAKER_00]: La waqsama al-Allah il-Abarah.

[SPEAKER_00]: They were to call upon Allah asuh-panoatala and oath by Allah. [SPEAKER_00]: Allah would fulfill it. [SPEAKER_00]: Meaning their status with Allah asuh-panoatala is remarkable. [SPEAKER_00]: There are many people here and around the world in our Ummah. [SPEAKER_00]: who are doing a lot of remarkable, faithful things for the sake of Allah, Subhanatata, that if you were to pass away tonight, no one else would know about these things.

[SPEAKER_00]: And that is a great treasure you have with Allah. [SPEAKER_00]: That's a massive treasure you have that's not for any human being. [SPEAKER_00]: That's in fact one of the safest things you can possibly look forward to seeing on the day of judgment. [SPEAKER_00]: The good deeds and sacrifices that no one else is aware of.

[SPEAKER_00]: And for many people, the reminder is that your Janaza, [SPEAKER_00]: Because obviously the soul moves on, being unrecognized from the Islamic lens is not a big deal. [SPEAKER_00]: As long as you're known in the heavens, being unrecognized on earth simply means you're not looking for payment in a dunya.

[SPEAKER_00]: You're not looking for that. [SPEAKER_00]: And finally, number three, who are you when your pain goes unseen? [SPEAKER_00]: when your pain is not seen, and for many people in society today for many Americans as well. [SPEAKER_00]: The crisis is not, does God exist. [SPEAKER_00]: A lot of people ask questions about God and the Creator, but for many people, they believe in a Creator.

[SPEAKER_00]: They believe in God and for many Muslims. [SPEAKER_00]: The reframing in Ahsan is, do you know that Allah sees you? [SPEAKER_00]: Do you know that Allah hears you? [SPEAKER_00]: Do you know that Allah is aware of your pain? [SPEAKER_00]: And one of the most beautiful examples of this is Zakatia, Ali Hisselam.

[SPEAKER_00]: In the opening of the Asura, as he's being described in older man who's bones are weak, decades of dua, he's asking for, progeny, he's asking for a son, he's asking for descendants. [SPEAKER_00]: If Nada Rabbehu Nida Ankafia, this was a secret act of worship. [SPEAKER_00]: a private whisper of a duat, and a loss of panotana exposed and preserved in a positive way for us for inspiration, we're reciting until the end of times, and so a moment of silence you're making of duat every night, where no one else is aware your own family might not know.

[SPEAKER_00]: is something that is saved with Allah. [SPEAKER_00]: Your pain is saved with Allah. [SPEAKER_00]: Your pain is known to Him. [SPEAKER_00]: Your pain becomes reward. [SPEAKER_00]: The dua, you make, is never wasted. [SPEAKER_00]: And that's a promise from Allah, Subhanahu wa Ta'ala. [SPEAKER_00]: So often times, we want to see in Adunya, we want to see results quickly.

[SPEAKER_00]: And Allah is reminding us through these types of scenarios that even that whisper, that private dua, that concern you didn't even express, that Allah is aware of what you're going through. [SPEAKER_00]: And there are many examples. [SPEAKER_00]: When we look at the situation in Russia, and it's still ongoing, may Allah ease their affairs and punish their oppressors and use us for liberation and justice in the world.

[SPEAKER_00]: There are many lands and places, there are many innocent prisoners in this country, there are people being arrested and falsely accused to this day. [SPEAKER_00]: Allah is very much aware of their pain, their grief. [SPEAKER_00]: When Khaluah, though the Allahana came to the Prophet, Salallahu alaihi wa-salam, a woman who was pleading for her situation, I shall report it, though the Allahana, I couldn't hear what she was saying.

[SPEAKER_00]: Even though she was not too far away from her, she could not hear what she was complaining about. [SPEAKER_00]: And Allah SWT revealed from above the heavens Qadzami Allah, who called a letter to Jadirukha Fiz'a O'Jahu Tashhtaki Il Allah that Allah SWT hears the one who is complaining about her situation.

[SPEAKER_00]: And I asha said that Allah SWT blessed is the one who is hearing in compasses all things. [SPEAKER_00]: That Allah SWT knows your grief. [SPEAKER_00]: And one of the reasons this is important is because, oftentimes, we lose our temper with the people next to us, with the people who pray next to us, with the people that are around us, with people, even in society, Muslims or non-Muslims, not realizing and not thinking of how many struggles people may be going through.

[SPEAKER_00]: and it may be a couple that you know that's been trying to have children for 15 or 20 years. [SPEAKER_00]: It might be a couple that's struggling in their marriage and feels like a dead marriage, even though they're smiling in public and still part of society. [SPEAKER_00]: It might be a situation where someone is fighting a private battle.

[SPEAKER_00]: Their own parents don't know about. [SPEAKER_00]: Their own family has no idea what they're going through at school or on campus or at work. [SPEAKER_00]: It might be a do-ah, that someone has been repeating for 10 or 15 years. [SPEAKER_00]: So, Eman Bilariah, when we mention it, is not just a heavy reminder that Allah is aware of your private sins.

[SPEAKER_00]: or a positive, a plifting reminder that Allah is also aware of your good deeds, but it's also consolation, a psychological consolation that you are not unseen to Allah. [SPEAKER_00]: The Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala is aware of your pain and oftentimes that is, that is when we turn to Elijah Bell, the one who mends the hearts and we ask him to mend our hearts.

[SPEAKER_00]: Question comes up repeatedly. [SPEAKER_00]: Why then does it seem like the visible world that we all are experiencing [SPEAKER_00]: And one of the responses, one of the scholars gave, he gave three examples. [SPEAKER_00]: He said, in reality, when you think of Rizka and money, your paycheck, for example, the paycheck is visible to you.

[SPEAKER_00]: Your income, your account is visible to you, but Baraka is not. [SPEAKER_00]: So you avoiding Haram. [SPEAKER_00]: You're not going to see it directly as like a million dollars. [SPEAKER_00]: $500,000 a thousand dollars. [SPEAKER_00]: You won't see it that way. [SPEAKER_00]: That's part of the test of E-Man Bill Rape.

[SPEAKER_00]: You can see the effects of Baraka, absolutely. [SPEAKER_00]: Another example is pleasure. [SPEAKER_00]: Pleasure in many cases is visible in different ways, but consequences not. [SPEAKER_00]: And one of the techniques of the devil is to make something of temptation or Haram look more appealing and attractive and hide its consequences.

[SPEAKER_00]: Was-e-y-n-al-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h-h- [SPEAKER_00]: or the reality that people may pressure you, that's very visible. [SPEAKER_00]: When people pressure you at school or in society or you're on family, but a loss of panetal is not visible to your eyes in that moment.

[SPEAKER_00]: There's a test of imanbilite. [SPEAKER_00]: We can all go to the cemetery in the graveyard and see the graves are very visible to us. [SPEAKER_00]: But the world beyond, the souls move on to al-Barzaq, we cannot see that, it is described only to us. [SPEAKER_00]: In a way, it's almost like a difficulty or a tyranny of the world of the visible and an e-man below the rise starts to become lifelong training.

[SPEAKER_00]: It starts to become lifelong training, and it helps us to distinguish the reality of I cannot see it with it doesn't matter, or it's not real. [SPEAKER_00]: Rather, I cannot see it, but that's part of the test. [SPEAKER_00]: I cannot see it therefore something is being developed morally within me, ultimately those who reject.

[SPEAKER_00]: a rib in terms of preparation. [SPEAKER_00]: Those who are very heedless of it, they live in rafla, may Allah protect us all from any kind of rafla, as soon as the soul leaves the body. [SPEAKER_00]: And they now see the angels of death. [SPEAKER_00]: And they now see the world of the unseen.

[SPEAKER_00]: And now they see the angels in general, on the souls of other believers. [SPEAKER_00]: And they start to see metaphysical things you cannot see here. [SPEAKER_00]: And in the grave the prophet tells us, alaihi salatu wa salam, that the Muslim, the believer will see their palace in general.

[SPEAKER_00]: and they will beg Allah oh Allah expedite the day of judgment. [SPEAKER_00]: So I can be in that palace with my loved ones. [SPEAKER_00]: We will see at that point. [SPEAKER_00]: Can you imagine someone who constantly ignores the signs of Allah because it's not visible with just their bare eyes?

[SPEAKER_00]: And then the moment of shock when they die, the kundafi rafleti min hada fa kashepna aankaritaak fa basaro ka liomahadit. [SPEAKER_00]: They're told on the day of judgment, you were heedless of this. [SPEAKER_00]: And now you have the veil removed from your eyes. [SPEAKER_00]: You can see very clearly and very sharply.

[SPEAKER_00]: And on that day, no one will be a skeptic. [SPEAKER_00]: There will be no radical skepticism or atheism or rejection of any kind of truth. [SPEAKER_00]: Especially for the one who thinks all they can rely on is the physical realm. [SPEAKER_00]: All they can rely on is the one tool in their toolbox.

[SPEAKER_00]: There are many people who wonder and ask about the angels who record our deeds. [SPEAKER_00]: Why can't we see the angels? [SPEAKER_00]: Why can't we see all the angels? [SPEAKER_00]: The ones surrounding us in the Juma Hutva, the ones who show up every time you read called Annette Homer at school.

[SPEAKER_00]: The angels that start to pray for you when you help your brother, your sister, you visit the sick. [SPEAKER_00]: Imagine for a day you could see all of this, but Allah gave us al-Aqqil reasoning, he gave us a heart that has inclination towards truth, the Fithra, he gave us revelation that is filled with miracles to prove it is from God and a prophet, Salallahu alaihi wa sallam, that no doubt is the messenger of Allah and therefore even though you haven't seen a single angel you know that they've been writing all of your deeds.

[SPEAKER_00]: Even though you have not seen Jenna, you know that you're right now in Charlotte building that home in Jenna by Allah's mercy and grace. [SPEAKER_00]: You haven't seen your book, but your actions today are writing what you're doing or writing what it is that you decided to do. [SPEAKER_00]: So, bless it is the believer who has lived for the world of El Rai in a world that is very limited in its scope.

[SPEAKER_00]: We ask Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala to protect us from rafla, to guide us to grant us strength in our e-man and to protect us from doubts and our children descend it as well. [SPEAKER_00]: We ask Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala to forgive all of our sins, the public and the private sins that we remember in the sins that we forgot.

[SPEAKER_00]: A Hulu Khamliha, the wastak filwadi wa lakum fastak filu inna hu hu al khafu rahi.
