What you'll learn:
- Ledger and Trezor supply-chain reports are spreading beyond one device model, so hardware wallet users should verify purchase channels and device integrity carefully.
- Cardano programmable tokens are now positioned for stablecoins, RWAs and other regulated assets that need rules built into native tokens.
- Midnight permissionless smart contracts and privacy features connect directly with Cardano use cases that need selective disclosure and compliance.
- Veridian ID has spun out from the Cardano Foundation as its own product, while Fireblocks is preparing Cardano Native Token support for institutional custody.
- Token2049 put Cardano in front of builders, investors and ecosystem partners through the booth, podcast studio, UTXO Pitch Night and Origins Hackathon.
- The Origins Hackathon had strong Cardano participation, including agentic commerce projects using rails such as x402 and Masumi.
- Minswap and Fluid Tokens are moving toward a merged Cardano DeFi experience, with CIP-113 testing and multichain plans also in view.
- Further updates include Pacific Meta in Japan, RealFi and GeroWallet, the .ada domain application, Butane V2 testnet, Open Wallet Standard support, Hokan and Chatsoon.

All right, guys, I've got a massive Kadana news update for you all. Everything that's happened around Token 2049 and the Kadana ecosystem. So I'm going to report on that as well as a bunch of announcements that came out of the event and a few that have come out since. So lots to go through here. But first off, let's get an update on what's happening with these hacked Ledger devices that have been selling around the world and now Tracer devices too. So first off, the major incident report update from Ledger itself. has been investigating where and what potential devices have been compromised, and specifically devices sold in Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, and Hong Kong have been targeted. But I've also seen
people report devices that were purchased in the EU have also seen tampered devices too. Now, this has been spreading. So Ledger is probably the most popular hardware device out there, but The other one is also the Tracer. And now Tracer, first off, have been going through all their affiliate networks and resellers and are clamping down on that. So now they're stopping the reselling of their hardware through third parties.
So that's unfortunate, but that's one of the things that they need to do. And that is because they have found potential instances where the Tracer device itself, this is a Tracer here, you can see from the weird shape that it is, there's extra little bits that are being welded onto the Tracer hardware device that you can see here on the right. So that is an indicator that something's being tampered with and could very well be listening devices, eSIMs or whatever it is. You see the flux here has got really messy as well, so it's really a hodgepodge kind of job. But it's enough to make it work, make the device work and then have it tampered with.
The serial numbers, the markings on the chips, they're all gone as well, so it could even be a completely replaced chip. It's spreading. Ledger devices and tracer as well. We may see some new ledgers come out, and tracers for that fact, come out with transparent casings so you can actually see the hardware itself, so you can actually look at the chip serial numbers and everything, so you know that it is potentially untampered with. But at the moment, the hardware market is up in the air. We don't know if we're using fake and tampered with devices or not.
If you purchase anything on Amazon or through a third party, not directly through the retailer themselves on their website, such as shop.ledger or directly through the Tracer website, consider it tampered with. It's just how it is. If you've got a really old device that is roughly 10 years old, you may be okay. But even then, I'll be so wary, I'll be checking them out. Now, this is what... the alternatives are and what I'm using at the moment. So the first one here is the Keystone. Keystone is my hardware device of choice at the moment. Works really well in the Cardano and Midnight ecosystem. And I've got a picture here of what it looks like if the Keystone device is tampered with. It will be bricked. If you
open it up and play around with it, it will get bricked. So this is what you end up with. The other alternative is the Tangent cards as well. These are great if you're just holding onto assets. So this is what the Tandem cards look like. So you get three of them. I don't know if you can see it there. You get three Tandem cards. So one for your main use, one for backup and another backup. It's a nice way of doing it. There's no seed phrase.
There's nothing in regards to that. Comes in a nice little starter pack. Tracer sent me this years back, but I never got around to using it. And I think I set it up. And I've completely forgotten any access to it. So I can't use that. So at the moment, I can't recommend Tangent purely because I don't know how to use it. I don't know the usability. I don't know how it all works. Maybe I'll try and get them working again and see how it all comes together.
But at the moment, guys, Keystone is my go-to hardware device. I've got affiliate links down below if you want to check it out. I've got affiliate links to Ledger as well. But at the moment, I can't recommend it. Check out the Keystone device if you're looking for anything to store your crypto assets. I mean, even then, I don't know how to verify the hardware. I'm still looking for ways to verify it. So if I can verify it, then I know it hasn't been tampered with. But at the moment, I just don't know. Paper wallets are probably your best option at the moment. Anyway, guys, stay safe out there.
Let's get back into the Kadana news and I'll let you know exactly what's happening in the Kadana space. So first off, Token 2049 was a big success. And I want to go through everything that's been happening and what type of impact Cardano has had. Its exposure over the event, which was very, very cool, and some key themes that were coming and running through the event overall. So we have some big names here. This is Stephen, a CMO.
We've got Mazza. We've got Andy Tang. We've got Philpon and Frederick Greggard. And this is, I'm assuming, the guy from SNEC, because that's the only other name that's tagged in there and the only other person I don't know. So it's pretty cool to see some big names there all over in Singapore at this point in time. some of the big headlines that came out for the event itself.
First off, programmable tokens for the Kadana ecosystem. So all the tokens out there that are being minting now should be using this brand new standard so that there can be programmed conditions around it. So now if you're trading with a sanctioned wallet, because we know it's sanctioned, this particular token that's minted under this particular standard can't interact with that. If there's a whitelist that's needed or KYC or any of those aspects, you can program that into the logic of the token. So you have to comply with those rules and logic, and this is perfect for regulatory spaced assets. So RWA's stable coins, all those things that need to comply with regulation. Now this ties in perfectly with what is happening in the midnight ecosystem. So
now we're having the programmable tokens come into play, but then also the ability to have your transactions and tokens and whatnot all shielded for privacy sakes. So now with Midnight coming on board and being able to interact on chain and provide privacy to all these institutions that are looking for it, and they're having programmable tokens that institutions can actually mint, it all ties in perfectly together. So it's definitely a coordinated approach to make this all happen.
We no longer have gated rollout of smart contracts on Midnight. Anyone can roll out a smart contract and we don't need the permission gate anymore. And we also have the ability to be compliant with various tokens on the Kadana ecosystem. So it all ties together and works together absolutely perfectly.
So we're going to see some interesting developments in RWAs and stablecoins within the Kadana ecosystem. Now, some really interesting things that came out of Token 2049. First off, Viridian ID, so the ID solution that the Kadana Foundation has been working on for quite a while, this has spun out into its own product, its own company. So we will be seeing more activity around this as they push out Viridian as its own product. Now, I thought this was interesting because the Kadana Foundation has never gone commercial. They've never pushed out their own products. That was Emergo's job.
But now with Emurgo out of the picture, Emurgo closing down, Emurgo no longer being involved with the commercial arm of the Cardano ecosystem, it looks like the Cardano Foundation is stepping up and launching and pushing out some of their products, and Viridian is their first product. Now we saw Charles at the Cardano booth, which is absolutely awesome. We had Frederick Greggard doing various presentations. We had this fireside chat with Frederick Greggard and Fireblocks. Fireblocks being brought onto the Kadana ecosystem to allow for institutional custodial services and whatnot.
So this all ties in together. We have the privacy side of things with Midnight, we have programmable tokens, and we have custodial services thanks to Fireblocks. It is absolutely primed for institutional investors and those types of companies bringing assets on-chain to Kadana. Now, this is the booth. that we had. So these are some high quality images that I found. This is what the booth and the event space looked like. In the background here, this was one of the main stages that people could attend and watch presentations at. So to be able to get to this stage, you would have to have walked past the Kadano booth here, showcasing all these projects that are building on the Kadano ecosystem, past the coffee stand in the background there, and all
the presentations and people talking about Kadano in general. They also had a stage, a mini stage where projects were presenting about what they're building on the Kadana ecosystem and whatnot. So people could actually listen in with headphones on the side here as well as sit in the presentation space here, listen to the five-size chats and presentations about what's being built.
So that was really cool. Now, I did a video breakdown of this as well. So if you want a tour of what it actually looked like, this little four-minute video that I did, gives you an idea of how the atmosphere was like at the booth itself. So do check that out if you want to know exactly what it was like. But you can see here, the coffee booth was always busy. So there was always people passing through getting coffees. This here is like a podcasting area.
So Josephine was doing podcasts there. There was a little mini photo booth that was active here. So people could take photos themselves with Kadana Branding. met some of the Cardano Foundation members that were working on the marketing team. And yeah, overall, vibe was awesome. So it's really good to see. that Kadano have such a big footprint in the expo space itself. So a lot of people got exposure and whatnot through it. Now, there were some other activations and other events that Kadano was involved in too.
And one of the big ones here was the UTXO Pitch Night. The other one was the hackathon. And I want to take you guys through how big these events were and what actually came out of them. So first off, let's have a look at the UTXO pitch night. So this was in conjunction with Draper Dragon and Draper University.
And this is all part of the Ryan Fund. So money is being spent to drive exposure to building on the Kadana ecosystem. And this is like serious projects because it's looking for VC investment. So it's all around the stuff that I've been doing in Draper University in San Francisco in the month of September and October. So this ties in perfectly with that. So I got to see Aaliyah again, which was absolutely awesome. Aaliyah was my program director when I was in San Francisco. And I got to meet Samiz again. Samiz was there and other members of the Draper team. So that was really cool. Now this is just a little video cut that the Kadana Foundation put together. To give you an idea of what the UTXO night looked like, the event was really cool. Now, unfortunately,
I couldn't be there for the entire night. I was working for the Midnight Foundation at their event, but this is what it looked like. We had a presentation beforehand with various people, had a DJ playing music for most of the night, and we had the pitch event itself with all the projects. We had nine projects on stage going through their projects, pitching in front of the Draper team to try and get investment for their projects. So that was absolutely cool. It was 57 stories up in the skyline of Singapore and it was a really cool venue space itself. Now, I just want to highlight a couple of things that came out from the event and the perspective of Andy Tang. So Andy Tang is one of the partners at Draper Dragon and also Draper Associates
and a long-term friend of Tim Draper, working alongside him, investing in many startups from Tesla, SpaceX, Coinbase, and many other crypto startups have been around for a long time. But this is what it says here. So every year people ask if crypto conferences still matter. After a week at Token249 Singapore, my answer is that the signal has never been better. Fewer tourists, more builders, and hallway conversations about products and revenue instead of token prices. the industry grew up. And I completely agree with that. Previous years at these types of events, you would have seen really big parties, lots of meme coins, a lot of NFT projects.
Not that there's anything wrong with all that, but it's less of a mature space. And there's been a big pivot and change in the whole ecosystem at the moment for institutions, for real world assets. We're seeing that type of economy grow grow in the crypto space. We're seeing AI agents trading. We're seeing agents using crypto rails with X402 payment protocol being one of the key things. And I'll get into that a little bit more in the next segment too. But that's the direction that the whole ecosystem is going. So if you're going to these events expecting cool founders that are creating a brand new NFT project or anything like that, that's all gone. There's basically none of that. So if you were in the industry
early on, like the last two or three years, and you were having some awesome times with some of these NFT projects and whatever, they're pretty much gone. And I really don't think we're going to see them anymore from this point onwards as the whole ecosystem changes. We've got some more write-ups here from Andy. A highlight of the week was our rooftop UTXO pitch night hosted by Draper Dragon and the Kadana Foundation at Lavo. I had the pleasure of far side chat with my dear friend, Haresh Nair, CIO of TPC on family offices, family businesses in Asia.
One thing from that conversation worth repeating, family offices are true permanent capital. Pensions revolve over time, but families often don't need the capital back. They want to build relationships across generations. TPC is had been navigating cycles since the late 1800s. In venture, we think 10-year funds and call it long-term. That's a useful dose of humility. And then the main event, nine startups out of four nine applications pitched live, covering everything from Bitcoin yield payments to AI agents, digital identity, tokenized assets competing for funding. The quality was the real story. Several of these teams already have product in market revenue, not just DEX. Now, I don't know If any of the projects that pitch that night got
a slice of that 500 K investment, usually this takes time. Sometimes these deals are actually done even before the pitch event. So I did hear about a couple of projects getting investment from the Orion fund beforehand because they already have Bitcoin yielding products. So they didn't need to pitch at this particular event. because they are already showing that their startup, their idea had traction, had growth. So that was an interesting aspect as well. But it's good to hear Andy's perspective and what family offices mean at the moment. So maybe I should be looking into family offices for investment into what I'm doing at the moment with the whole escrow side of things. Interesting. Now, this is a couple
of shots from the UTXO pitch night. This is Patrick on stage. This is the new CEO of Viridian talking about the identity side of the product. A couple of shots of the room itself. I managed to sneak in there just off on the side with my camera. Yeah, just over there. And somehow managed to sneak on stage with everyone else that pitched that evening. I didn't pitch.
I didn't pitch, but I managed to get in on the stage. So thank you, Samiz, for calling me in there. It's always good to be in some of these shots. Anyway, guys, that's the UTSO pitch night, and congratulations to all the teams that presented, and hopefully some of you guys got some funding out of it as well. Now, the other big thing that happened around the event was the hackathon. Now, the hackathon event was called Origins Hackathon. It was running over the 6th to 8th of October. It had a Solana track, AWS track, Kadano, Chainlink, and now Nodes track. Now, each one of those had slightly different focusses, But I think AWS had an AI focus and so did Cardano.
And I have to say the amount of people that were involved in this was massive. And I do have a picture here and I'll just go back to this post in a moment. But this picture here gives you an idea of how busy the room was. This is about maybe half of the room. We had people on stage doing presentations at some points of the event. There are about 100 or so teams, I think. So we only can see up to table 25 here. There's a lot more to the room. There were a lot of people in the room. I think about 200 people all up. Yeah, and here are some of those numbers. 130 of the 200 devs submitted to the Cardano track at Token 2049.
So that's decent. More than half of the projects were building on Cardano. Do you realize how big that is? It's a massive... boost for the Cardano ecosystem. So many people in the room were building on the agentic commerce side of things on Cardano, thanks to Masumi and what Patrick has been building. Now, if you're interested in doing any development work around this or investigating what these guys have been building, everything that the guys were using at the hackathon is on the developer portal. So you can use the links here. I'll put them in the show notes down below. But you can use the links to the developer portal and start building your own things. You can use your own AI agent. Just absorb all of
this data here and use your own AI agent to start building something really cool. But let's have a look at what was actually built. So the overall winner came out of the Kadana track. So this is the overall winner of the entire hackathon. And let's have a look at what they were. So overall hackathon winner was Coingraph.
Check before an AI agent moves money. One call returns a verdict with every number sourced and fingerprinted and agent pay per call on Kadano through X402. If you want to dig deeper, you can watch their demo video there. It's a three-minute demo video. Now for the actual track itself, from what I heard, Kadano card is no longer. So I don't know if this is specifically Kadano card or if it's something alongside it. They just called it Kadano card. Anyway, allows any agent on Kadano to buy from Amazon. Funds are locked in Misumi escrow and the card checks out and the escrow pays out only when the order is placed.
So it's a nice way of just locking in funds so that you can actually pay for something. Next one here, we've got second place, ZX402, building private funding rails for AI agents on Kodano. So I thought this one was really interesting because it brings privacy to agents. This is something that doesn't exist on Cardano at all at the moment and using zero knowledge proofs to actually do payments is a big thing. We know we've got Midnight and we can do this with Midnight as well, but Midnight requires a massive extra step in using the Midnight blockchain.
But here we have zero knowledge proofs with X402. So the developer here really put in the hard yards to make this happen. So thank you, Ensheng, for putting that one through. If you want to watch more, again, links down below for you guys. Third place, Nitrate Systems. They built Uplift, a 13-agent growth team for e-commerce. Every hire is escrowed on Kadano through Misumi, and Chainlink verifies every deliverable before anyone gets paid. So again, escrow contracts being put in place. Very cool. We've got Hirakumi, one of the event's best overall projects. Paste an API link and within minutes, AI agents can pay for it on Cardano with bad answers costing nothing. This was an amazing event for Cardano's exposure. You can see a little bit more
of the room here. It goes up to table 43 here and all the developers around it. There's more. There's more tables behind this. So you can see just how big this room was. There was a constant supply of Monster Energy drinks. There was a fridge there. I managed to grab one of those when I was passing through.
It was amazing to see the type of exposure that Kadana was getting. So overall, I think the hackathon had a major impact for the Kadana ecosystem and the money spent by the Kadana Foundation for what it was trying to achieve. Let me get to the aspects here of their approach. So first off, the Kadana booth. So that was huge in itself. major footprint in front of one of the main stages so that people would pass through it, know and remember that Kadano still exists and actually see what projects were involved, what they're building on the Kadano ecosystem.
The Draper UTA, so Pitch Night, absolutely huge event again. And then the Origins Hackathon, which onboarded so many more developers into the Kadano ecosystem. So that was also really amazing. When I was in the room, so Patrick Tobler was in the hackathon room pretty much the whole few days when the hackathon was going to provide support and talk to the developers and all that, which I thought was really important. I didn't see many of the other teams like Solana or AWS or now nodes in the room as well. Maybe they were, I just didn't see them.
But I know Patrick was there all the time and he was talking with the developers. and helping them, giving them advice. One of the things that he said, like, you know, you don't need to build specifically anything for Cardano. All you had to do was build towards Misumi, use the API, and you're already using Cardano in the background.
So it really abstracted the complications and the need to actually understand how Cardano works or what you need to do to build a Cardano transaction. Just use the Misumi API, and there you go. You're done. Make it. use the API and make a payment, and it'll be using an X402 protocol and the Kodano network in the background. That's it. Simplified.
Make it so easy. You can get your AI agent to do any type of programming coding on top of that, and you're using some really cool rails all built on Kodano. So that really is the way to do it. All right. Now, guys, there's some other really big news that came out of the event and was tied around what was happening in the Kodano ecosystem. Now, before Token 2049, MintSwap were teasing out a couple of news announcements, like this picture here.
A cat with some light green tinges to it. So the cat's evolving. I don't know what's going on. And then I managed to talk to Raul at an event before this big announcement. We had a little side event that was happening at an ice park. Out of all the places, I only lasted seven seconds in the ice bath.
I was very disappointed in myself. I think my record was about 17 seconds. But the other guys here, the other boys, lasted 45 seconds and over. So very impressive stuff. I digress. The big news here, Fluid Tokens merged with MintSwap, one of the biggest borrowing lending protocols out there that is bridging over to other ecosystems such as Midnight and Bitcoin.
That's what Fluid Tokens provides. merged with MintSwap. Now, from the conversation that I had with Raul at the event, he was saying, you know, MintSwap, they weren't making as much money as they used to. So they had a lot of trading fees, they had batch of fees, and a lot of those, that revenue paid for their dev team and their intern to create content and, you know, do all the comms and communication. So that was a big aspect of what MintSwap were doing or needed to do.
But a lot of that, if you hadn't noticed, had disappeared over the last six months. This year has been very quiet from the Minswap team. Now they want to concentrate on what they do best, and that is the development side of things. Whereas Fluid Tokens have a good communication strategy, they have good comms, they have the ability to be really agile in those types of aspects. So what we're seeing now is Fluid Tokens coming in and helping out and managing all the comms between both of the teams. And then we have Minswap coming in and doing all the development that's needed for the DEX and for fluid tokens and what both the teams need. So they're playing with their strengths. What are they best at
and combining efforts together. But from this, we're going to see some really cool things. We are going to see more impact from both of these teams. And there are a couple of things that are coming out of it. And first off is Minswap is coming in with SIP113 support. So going back to the earlier announcement here for the programmable tokens, Minswap will come in with programmable tokens on their DEX and that is being worked on right now.
It's being tested and it'll be launched on their DEX very soon. So they may very well be the very first DEX to be trading real world assets. They may very well be the first DEX trading with proper USDCX. No, not USDCX, USDC. So not the privacy version, not the version that we have now, the official USDC version that is compliant with the regulatory bodies and whatnot. So that's what we're going to see on MintSwap. So that is really exciting. Now, the other aspect they teased out is the multi-chain aspect. So I kind of mentioned that before.
But one of the really cool things that Raul mentioned to me was the shared liquidity pools. Now, what do I mean by this? I don't know if I'm supposed to be mentioning this or not. I don't think he said not to. One of the things that he said to me was when you deploy liquidity in DeFi, sometimes you have to choose. Well, you do have to choose.
You either deploy your ADA and USD assets to a borrowing and lending protocol like Fluid Tokens, or you can choose to deploy it over to MintSwap in a DEX pool. So you have to choose and your liquidity is split and fragmented into two different areas. So what they're working on is combining that into one single pool. So that way you have a larger amount of liquidity that earns and generates more yield. So now because you're putting liquidity into, let's say, a USD and a ADA pool, it can now be also lent out on the borrowing and lending side and also used for liquidity for swaps. So now you're earning yield in multiple different ways as opposed to just earning yield from providing liquidity on the DEX or
providing liquidity in the borrowing and lending side of things. Put it to work, put it to more work and having this amplification here really makes sense. So that's an awesome move by the team. I can see why they want to combine their efforts because then they can do things like this. They can merge the pools, they can provide more yield for users as well. So amazing stuff.
I'm really looking forward to what the team, the teams, the team, I don't know what to call it now, are bringing out for Fluidmin, Minfluid, Minswap, Minfluid, I don't know. Will they change their name? I don't know what they do, but it's really good news overall, guys. Now, some more rapid fire news for you. Some more things that have come out over the last week. Kadana Foundation and Pacific Meta.
Pacific Meta is a really big company with local expertise in the Japan ecosystem. So they'll be helping with real world enterprise adoption. So this is a snapshot of what the team kind of looks like, but they'll be working on a lot of the things for Kadana and other chains as well. But they've joined in with all these other ecosystem partners here. So, you know, they work with Solana, Aptos, et cetera, et cetera. So, Pacific Meta, look out for them.
They'll be doing a lot more in Japan over the next coming years. We also had RealFi launch as well. So RealFi is providing usable USD assets and yield return from it. So you can get your USD and you can have the USDRF and then your staked version of that. So we're generating yield off of USD stable assets. It's already integrated in with Liquid Finance and more importantly, it's integrated in with various wallets Jira Wallet being the first one.
So you can use the Jira Wallet interface to provide liquidity. You can swap USDCX over to the USDRF and then stake it as well to earn yield. So there's different ways that you can integrate in now, but Jira wallet is probably the easiest because it's built into their interface. Here we also have a news announcement about the Cardano Foundation's movements with the. ada domain. So if you ever wanted to buy a domain name that was specifically around ADA, like you see the. eth ones or the. sol ones or whatever, here is your. ata domain. Now, this was, I think it was brought up earlier this year, I can't remember the dates now, through a treasury governance action, and it was just asking for support. So the Canada
Foundation is paying all for this one here, but it passed with 75%. It's a no-brainer. It's like, if it's not costing the community anything and only just needs the support of the community with votes and foot traffic or whatever, sure, go for it. Kadana Foundation can pay for it, and I'll buy a couple of domain names under the. ada domain on GoDaddy. That's essentially what we're going to see.
We're going to see these. ada domains. You can go to GoDaddy, CloudFlare, or Crazy Domains, whatever domain provider that you use, and buy a. ada domain. So I can purchase peep.ada or kadano.ada. I probably won't be able to get kadano.ada. The Kadana Foundation will probably buy that one first, but you know, That's what's possible. It will actually resolve to a website or your app or whatever you've vibe coded.
So that's what we're going to see, guys. Really, really cool stuff. That's just progressing. It isn't launched yet, but it's a process and it's a long process and it needs community support. So if you ever see a post up from the Kadana Foundation saying, hey guys, we need support now. We need to push this through and show ICANN how popular this is going to be so we know that we'll make money. Jump on it, guys, because we need the support to get it through the next few stages. Now, this is an announcement from Butane. They've got their next version on testnet. Now, a lot of people thought that Butane just disappeared and they took their money from their token sale and just left. I re-met Micah and Jay at Token 2049 in Singapore as well.
So I got to chat with them, see what was up with their protocol. And their most concerning issue was security. It's security, security, or security audits and security. That's all they care about. So they didn't want to rush anything, launch anything without it being as secure as humanly possible. So if they're going to work on something for six months, it's going to take longer because they're doing security audits.
They're having other people audit their work. They're auditing their work themselves. Having AI agents audit their work. That was their number one priority. So that's why we haven't seen anything move with Butane for quite a while. And they've been silent just because they're building the protocol and making sure it's all secure and works as it should. So now we have it on testnet. If you want to check it out, you can check out how synthetics work within the Butane ecosystem and what they're going to bring next to the Cardano ecosystem through their platform. Now, this last one here, I'll just mention, this is a small one here, but still worth talking about. This is the integration of Cardano support for the open wallet standards. The
WingRiders team put this one in place for us as well. If you want to learn more about this one here, you can check out the article that was written about it. But overall, this is just a very standard way that wallets are created and managed. So things like applications and AI agents can work on the same standard. So if an AI agent is working on the Ethereum ecosystem or Solana, using this kind of standard, it will allow them to spin up a Kidano wallet. So it's kind of making all that interoperability a little bit easier and better. And thank you to the Wing Riders team for making that all work. I got to meet, I think it was Sophia from the Wing Riders team at the UTSO pitch night as well. I'm so sorry if I've gotten your
name wrong, but it was cool to meet some of the OG teams that were working on some of these projects over time. So really good to see that they're still around and still building and making some really cool things in the Kadano ecosystem. Now, that's it. That's all I got for this particular update. And it was quite a lot to go through. But I think the thing that you want to take away from this video here is the type of impact that this event had. So if you don't remember or recall, this Token 2049 event was all made possible through a Cardano treasury withdrawal. And it was a lot of money. I think it was several million dollars to actually make this all happen. And that covered the booth. It covered the UTSO pitch night
and covered the Origins hackathon event. Did it have a big impact? I'd argue that it did. I'd say with those three types of exposures, it had a massive impact for the Kadana ecosystem. What we want to see now is the measurable KPIs afterwards as community members. So yeah, we can visually see what type of impact it had, how many people went through the booth. How many teams were building on Misumi? That was a big one there.
We could see that happen, but I want to see some stats and numbers afterwards as well so we can compare it to previous years and know what type of standard we have now set so that next year's event, whatever it may be, I know there's a big calendar of events for the Kadana Foundation next year and they're already planning for it, but it would be good to see that these type of events continue to have the same level of impact. and reach as what the Token 2049 event did. But you guys, please let me know in the comments down below if you think that the Token 2049 event was worth the money or not. From what I've given you as an overview of my perspective, I think it was, but I'd love to hear your comments down below. Now, if you got something out of this,
make sure you hit the thumbs up, like, subscribe, notification bell as well. I've got YouTube memberships down below. I also have Buy Me A Coffee links there, both great ways to support the channel. Make sure you check your hardware wallets, whatever you're using, a ledger, a tracer, or whatever it is. Check that it hasn't been tampered with because your assets, where you think it may be safe, may very well be compromised. All right, guys, try and stay positive. I'll see you in the next video.
