[SPEAKER_05]: After a couple of close calls, you were finally able to come together and take down the God-like void, which released a tidal wave of fire in the process.

2:59 [SPEAKER_05]: Before it could hit you however, Maldinin redirected the flame back into the found, restoring it to its former glory. [SPEAKER_05]: Unfortunately, the priest was mortally wounded, reconnecting with Wyatt and Hayden once [SPEAKER_05]: Solomon retrieved the log book of visitors to the pit and vowed vengeance on Thoreed, much to the dismay of Belinda, who was reminded of her own brother's quest for vengeance.

3:28 [SPEAKER_05]: And when we last left off, Wyatt and Hayden mourned Maldinin in the ruins of the arena. [SPEAKER_05]: Where you are now? [SPEAKER_05]: You are exactly where you left off. [SPEAKER_05]: Uh, Solomon, you are still in Boyd's destroyed office, full of disheveled taxidermy, and cigars, you're alone, as Blanda has took off.

[SPEAKER_05]: Hayden and Wyatt. [SPEAKER_05]: You still sit in this ruined arena. [SPEAKER_05]: Solomon and Belinda left a while back, although it's up for debate whether you actually noticed.

7:31 [SPEAKER_03]: Kaden has been very focused on how why it's doing, but as time passes, [SPEAKER_03]: And this weird sensation comes over Hayden, where they feel strangely relaxed, despite everything that's gone on in the last few minutes. [SPEAKER_03]: And there's just something about the last embers of this fire that just feel strangely cleansing.

8:06 [SPEAKER_03]: Hayden is going to close their eyes and let [SPEAKER_03]: a little of that color for the red and orange and yellow and just hints of blue fill their hair. [SPEAKER_03]: And they'll put up hand on wide shoulder and say, how you doing, kiddo, you want me to stay with you for a while? [SPEAKER_03]: Well, just rather be by yourself, a little bit.

[SPEAKER_05]: And as that happens, you watch as a massive lion, the head and mane of a fire so bright you cannot pierce it, pulls himself out of the crevice and stands before you.

[SPEAKER_04]: Can I take a look at the thing that was on your side to see if I can maybe do a little more now? [SPEAKER_05]: He turns, and you see it again.

11:52 [SPEAKER_05]: The skin around it has healed some, but the amulet still blazes with its red, sickly light, pulsing, [SPEAKER_05]: like a heartbeat. [SPEAKER_04]: Why it's going to walk up to it and use from mechanical purposes, both a second and a first level spell slot to just blast it with more fire.

12:22 [SPEAKER_05]: You do fire unleashes from your hands, scorching and scorching and scorching and scorching, throwing damage. [SPEAKER_05]: onto this parasite. [SPEAKER_05]: As you blast this thing with fire, you hear that same voice in your head deeper than the earth, one that you have heard issuing from the ambulance before.

12:54 [SPEAKER_05]: It says, [SPEAKER_04]: Death is natural. [SPEAKER_04]: It's how we feed the flame. [SPEAKER_04]: It's sad, but we have to enjoy the times we have with each other. [SPEAKER_01]: If you will not help me stop death, then you are an agent of the [SPEAKER_05]: you watch as it re-bounds off of the amulet and hits you back.

14:02 [SPEAKER_05]: How much damage did you roll? [SPEAKER_04]: That's 24 damage. [SPEAKER_05]: Okay. [SPEAKER_05]: So 24 damage get 24 fire damage is rebounded back at you. [SPEAKER_05]: Yikes. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_05]: You have resistance to fire damage. [SPEAKER_05]: Yes, so I only take 12. [SPEAKER_05]: But you take, you take 12 as you are knocked back by this.

14:28 [SPEAKER_05]: You hear the amulet's voice. [SPEAKER_05]: And you see the amulet sink, a little bit deeper into the lion's flesh. [SPEAKER_05]: The flame roars in pain, turns, and runs leaping back into the crevice. [SPEAKER_04]: I promise I'll help, I'll get it off of you. [SPEAKER_05]: As his roar fades into the distance your vision restores.

15:04 [SPEAKER_05]: and you're sitting back in the arena. [SPEAKER_05]: Hayden. [SPEAKER_03]: Yes. [SPEAKER_05]: You went to find salt in my. [SPEAKER_03]: I did. [SPEAKER_05]: How's that going? [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know if I find it. [SPEAKER_03]: You're hard. [SPEAKER_03]: I think as I'm walking along, there's so much devastation and ash around, but Hayden still feels weirdly calm and I think it's just absolutely, [SPEAKER_03]: Hidden is just absolutely drawing the ashes up from the ground and just kind of swirling them around between their fingers, letting the ash just kind of cover their hands and just reveling in the postfire calm.

15:49 [SPEAKER_06]: You find Solomon such a different headspace. [SPEAKER_06]: She is almost agitatedly on a mission. [SPEAKER_06]: You see that she is like, she almost walks past you. [SPEAKER_06]: In fact, I think she starts too, because she is like singularly focused at this point. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, girl.
