[SPEAKER_03]: Hello, and welcome back to another episode of Mage Hand High Faw. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm your dungeon master, Casey Pappas, and with me, ranked least to most likely to go for a piece of cheese placed surreptitiously beneath a box propped up by a string. [SPEAKER_03]: It was by a stick, by a stick, by a stick, by a stick, by a stick, by a stick, by a stick, by a stick, by a stick, by a stick, by a stick, by a stick, by a stick, by a stick, by a stick, by a stick, by a stick, by a stick, by a stick, by a stick, by a stick, by a stick, by a stick, by a stick, by a stick, by a stick, by a stick, by a stick, by a stick, by a stick, by a stick, by a stick, by a stick, by a stick, by a stick, by a stick, by a stick, by a stick, by a stick

[SPEAKER_04]: Hi, I'm Robin Langan Helpline Hayden-Concade and I'm just imagining like a loose slice of American cheese in the grass and no thanks. [SPEAKER_04]: I'm pretty happy. [SPEAKER_04]: I'm fine. [SPEAKER_04]: I don't need this. [SPEAKER_03]: Next, Max Weinberg. [SPEAKER_03]: Ooh, hello. [SPEAKER_01]: I am in the middle.

[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not eating, I'm lactose intolerant. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not eating random cheese off the ground. [SPEAKER_01]: Wow. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm playing White Forest Scythe and yeah, he's he's much more likely to be taken cheese underneath the box 100% [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah.

[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, geez. [SPEAKER_03]: Cool. [SPEAKER_03]: Provided by the flame. [SPEAKER_03]: Happy a big box. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, I'm going to find God, geez. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, that's not where your next meal will come from. [SPEAKER_03]: He will provide. [SPEAKER_03]: Cheese from heaven. [SPEAKER_03]: The box falls on him.

[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, no. [SPEAKER_00]: And give him the flame to take it away. [SPEAKER_00]: How do you have real big stipulates all my briar? [SPEAKER_00]: And I regularly take a 90-minute train just to get cheese that I like. [SPEAKER_00]: So you're not wrong. [SPEAKER_00]: One way. [SPEAKER_00]: 90 minutes one way.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Do you take a 90-minute train ride to a trap? [SPEAKER_00]: No, it's not a trap, but you could definitely cheese trap me. [SPEAKER_00]: Cheese trap is definitely like the honey trap for asexuals. [SPEAKER_01]: I think this really sounds like one of those nonsense stories from your childhood that you have done.

[SPEAKER_00]: No, I do this. [SPEAKER_00]: I do this right. [SPEAKER_00]: I do this now. [SPEAKER_01]: No, no, no, no, I meant that you taking cheese from underneath a box of steak. [SPEAKER_01]: That sounds like something like your grandfather put in the backyard and you're like, oh, cheese. [SPEAKER_04]: Do ever tell you about how in the Piper's who used to play cheese trap?

[SPEAKER_04]: And with that, yeah, with that. [SPEAKER_03]: Let's dive right in. [SPEAKER_00]: Good, very good. [SPEAKER_03]: Last time on May 3rd, high five. [SPEAKER_03]: you were all gathered at the pit. [SPEAKER_03]: You freed the remaining prisoners with sacrament taking their nights. [SPEAKER_03]: As well, Mordrick stayed behind to continue his training while sacraments nights offered themselves for the coming war.

[SPEAKER_03]: You returned to Twin River and were immediately called into Schiff's office. [SPEAKER_03]: Schiff revealed that Thread had withdrawn most of its forces from the Badlands, likely for one final push. [SPEAKER_03]: While Cordrin discussed a party, Jamison was planning to host, a Masquerade Gala for their donors honoring the war front and Tiberius's promotion to Prime Minister.

[SPEAKER_03]: He offered this as a means of assassinating Tiberius, though you were more interested in coercively ending the war than the violence that would follow killing him. [SPEAKER_03]: And when we last left off, Cordrin had just recommended preparing for the coming Gala while leaving you in Schifth's office.

[SPEAKER_03]: Where you are now? [SPEAKER_03]: You are all still in shift's office. [SPEAKER_03]: Shift is behind her desk. [SPEAKER_03]: I believe it is now just you and shift. [SPEAKER_03]: Cordrin has left with these slottomatons in tow. [SPEAKER_03]: He leaves it at just, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait,

[SPEAKER_03]: I don't quite know what to make of that one just yet, but he seems interested in the same things we are. [SPEAKER_04]: He's kind of figured out how to be a good person. [SPEAKER_04]: It's got a new to him. [SPEAKER_00]: I think we're all in good company on that front. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, I don't know if I trust him, but I trust you so.

[SPEAKER_03]: I'll trust your judgment on that one. [SPEAKER_04]: I think he's on the right side. [SPEAKER_04]: Before we go any further, I have to ask. [SPEAKER_04]: How's Maverick doing? [SPEAKER_03]: She steples her fingers in front of her face for a second and says, still unconscious. [SPEAKER_03]: He moves occasionally, which is better than before, but he's still not quite regained his senses.

[SPEAKER_04]: Hmm. [SPEAKER_04]: Wild suggestion, but as anyone tried to cast to him, [SPEAKER_04]: Like a messer, Jora, a sand and spell? [SPEAKER_03]: We have doctors trying everything. [SPEAKER_03]: Nothing has broken through yet. [SPEAKER_00]: All right. [SPEAKER_03]: But it is a good thought. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, director, we trust your judgment on the whole thing, but just in case we can be helpful, my answer to the best damn healers in the Badlands, and they use sort of unconventional means, and why here is a really gifted healer and condo it at the flame.

[SPEAKER_00]: So if there's anything we can do for him, you just let us know. [SPEAKER_00]: See, you are just ahead of the curve on everything, ain't ya? [SPEAKER_03]: Well, one must be in order to run a city. [SPEAKER_03]: But thank you. [SPEAKER_03]: I will take that compliment. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry, there's not much we can do.

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, with regard to 3d, I got a couple questions, namely, I think going into 3d guns blazing or otherwise without knowing what were their demand and feels ill-advised, so I just want to know from you what we're trying to demand from 3d and what we're asking for. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to go in creating a power vacuum without knowing what we want.

[SPEAKER_03]: This will require time. [SPEAKER_03]: and a little bit of thought, but the growing discontentment with greed must be dealt with. [SPEAKER_03]: And there is a part of me which wonders if a clean separation would serve as both parties. [SPEAKER_04]: That's so good. [SPEAKER_04]: It seems to be what we're looking for on eye and just leave us alone.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry, I'm scared of that. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I think we could handle ourselves just fine, but I think you know better than anybody that Thread has most of its money based on the backs of the people who live and work here. [SPEAKER_03]: I know. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if there going to be willing to let us go.

[SPEAKER_03]: We will have to give them a pretty compelling argument. [SPEAKER_03]: Barring a complete break, there may be a way forward by strengthening the Badlands representation in government, especially considering that the previous representative to the Badlands was in fact, Tiberius Jamison. [SPEAKER_00]: Right, so that feels a little hollow to me, partially.

[SPEAKER_00]: whether or not we opt for a clean break or representation might depend on who's in charge of three by the end of this. [SPEAKER_00]: If it's someone who might be a little bit more amenable, then sure we can work together. [SPEAKER_00]: But if it's still taburious, the end of the day, I don't know that there's much we can do except leave.

[SPEAKER_00]: But I can tell you first hand that trying to leave the Jamesons is a little difficult. [SPEAKER_01]: Well, all you guys do is kill one of them, and then you can do it, right? [SPEAKER_01]: Thank you, Wyatt. [SPEAKER_01]: You're welcome. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, that's the issue here, is that Jameson, the company, is so powerful and intertwined with the government that how many people lack tuberias will need to be taken down before there's someone around who's even willing to think about negotiating.

[SPEAKER_03]: I believe the choice may come down to whether it is more prudent to have the Jamison Company or the Badlands for Thread. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, so you're suggesting that we demand a dissolution of Jamison as a condition for us staying. [SPEAKER_03]: As the Jameson's grab power, their grabs will become more and more desperate, giving a more and more compelling reason to dissolve them.

[SPEAKER_03]: I would say, for now, focus your efforts on ensuring an immediate end to the invasion and securing an agreement to negotiate a long-term solution. [SPEAKER_03]: In the meantime, [SPEAKER_03]: I will give some more thought to what that solution might be. [SPEAKER_04]: Is that anyone in any kind of position of power in Thread who's not aligned with the Jamesons?

[SPEAKER_03]: I've heard growing discontentment with the war, particularly among the sort of common folk of Thread, but I believe at the moment the majority of the Threadian parliament still favors [SPEAKER_03]: There are holdouts as there are in any government. [SPEAKER_03]: There are those sympathetic to the badlands.

[SPEAKER_03]: They are just at the moment in the minority. [SPEAKER_00]: Right, which to me just means again, we need leverage. [SPEAKER_03]: You need leverage. [SPEAKER_00]: And I know that we had discussed published in some of the information about the peacemaker coming here, but director, I also have a pretty upset and document that I think might give us even more leverage with the higher ups and 3d.

[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, perfect, an upsetting document. [SPEAKER_00]: And I would like this published as far and wide as we can get it, and I hand her the ledger from the pit. [SPEAKER_03]: She starts flipping through it and says, what is this? [SPEAKER_00]: That is the ledger of Clientel from the pit, which is a prison out where the fountain of the flame is.

[SPEAKER_00]: Well, I guess it was a prison before we took it down, and they would bring people in from three to watch folks fight to the death. [SPEAKER_00]: Hey, good money to get in there. [SPEAKER_04]: They put me in them, I'll self. [SPEAKER_04]: God's. [SPEAKER_00]: Made bets on who lived or died.

[SPEAKER_00]: These are all the folks that we know who were there. [SPEAKER_00]: And shockingly, they're ain't any Jamesons on there, but it doesn't mean they don't know about it. [SPEAKER_00]: And I believe that if we get this published, I think it would give us a whole hell of a lot. [SPEAKER_01]: Can I look through that list, maybe?

[SPEAKER_01]: Do I know anybody? [SPEAKER_03]: Oh. [SPEAKER_00]: Solomon doesn't meet Wyatt's gaze. [SPEAKER_03]: She is silent as she's flipping through this. [SPEAKER_01]: Um, can I look at this book? [SPEAKER_01]: Closer? [SPEAKER_03]: I think Shift looks at you Wyatt and rolled a Nat to one on insight.

[SPEAKER_03]: Oh. [SPEAKER_03]: She looks at you and says, yes, I will be getting in contact with publishers. [SPEAKER_03]: you all do what you need to do in twin river. [SPEAKER_04]: What are we all doing here before heading to three? [SPEAKER_04]: Hang on a minute. [SPEAKER_04]: Do you catch stop not answering my questions?

[SPEAKER_04]: Why at Darlin? [SPEAKER_04]: Can I see this book? [SPEAKER_04]: Let why it see the book. [SPEAKER_01]: And I'll be able to try to get the book from her. [SPEAKER_03]: Shift doesn't stop you. [SPEAKER_03]: She sits back. [SPEAKER_03]: She makes no motion to stop you though she does sigh a little bit.

[SPEAKER_00]: Why honey, I don't know if there's going to be something in there that you don't want to see. [SPEAKER_00]: You can read through it if you need to. [SPEAKER_00]: You deserve to know just as much as anybody. [SPEAKER_00]: But you were having a hard time back there and I wasn't going to tell you unless you asked.

[SPEAKER_01]: Okay. [SPEAKER_01]: Asked what, who's in the book? [SPEAKER_01]: What, what am I asking it? [SPEAKER_01]: I'll just start looking page by page because I also know a lot of people. [SPEAKER_03]: You start looking page by page. [SPEAKER_03]: And as the pages go on, there are names that you recognize.

[SPEAKER_03]: Sir, Reginald Gilwater. [SPEAKER_00]: After Gilwater's upland. [SPEAKER_04]: After Gilwater's upland. [SPEAKER_03]: You see names that you know. [SPEAKER_03]: The cunning hymns. [SPEAKER_03]: The Clarences. [SPEAKER_03]: There are a lot of people in upper three in this. [SPEAKER_03]: And then you come across the two names that you really didn't want to say.

[SPEAKER_03]: Written in familiar script, John Patrick, and Melinda, or Sife. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry, dear heart. [SPEAKER_01]: Why it rips that page out and puts it in his pocket? [SPEAKER_00]: Darling, we can't protect them from this. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I know. [SPEAKER_00]: This needs to get published.

[SPEAKER_00]: I know that they're in it. [SPEAKER_00]: But this, this, the people need to see this. [SPEAKER_01]: How long until it's published? [SPEAKER_01]: How long does that take? [SPEAKER_03]: We could have it published within the next day. [SPEAKER_04]: It'll take a moment to circulate. [SPEAKER_03]: We can have it printed tomorrow, but how far it goes can take weeks.

[SPEAKER_01]: If we're still here, can we keep the original? [SPEAKER_03]: She thinks about it. [SPEAKER_03]: And says, yes. [SPEAKER_03]: Though I'm sure I don't need to stress its importance. [SPEAKER_01]: Why a cast's mending to put the page back in? [SPEAKER_01]: for when I talk to my dad, and I want this one, not a copy.

[SPEAKER_03]: Very well. [SPEAKER_03]: I will not hold it longer than I must. [SPEAKER_03]: I will return it to you as soon as we begin printing. [SPEAKER_04]: Thank you. [SPEAKER_04]: Hey, put the hand on why it's shoulder. [SPEAKER_00]: That aside. [SPEAKER_00]: Is there anything else we need to discuss before we go find our families?

[SPEAKER_03]: It is, in brighter news, we have gotten it back up and running. [SPEAKER_03]: It is taken the better part of the last week to be gun-mending the machines, but they are, and firepowder production has returned. [SPEAKER_00]: Director, I don't know that there is a tactful way to approach this.

[SPEAKER_03]: Funding money. [SPEAKER_00]: Right. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: No. [SPEAKER_00]: Funding. [SPEAKER_00]: Funding. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: It is real hard to get around and three without any money. [SPEAKER_00]: And I can ask, I was planning to ask my answer for some healing potions, but we don't have anything right now.

[SPEAKER_00]: And it would be really helpful if we could just, if you could spare just a little bit of funding to help us, [SPEAKER_00]: at least get to three. [SPEAKER_03]: Right. [SPEAKER_03]: With the reconstruction of Twin River at an end, finances have been less tight than before. [SPEAKER_03]: We are slowly accumulating wealth again.

[SPEAKER_03]: And so we can spare some. [SPEAKER_03]: Normally, this would be the part where I turn it over to our finance here, however, I am acting as both director and finance here, and so I do, in fact, know the current state of our treasury. [SPEAKER_00]: I think that's, I think Maverick's got a little spinny chair.

[SPEAKER_00]: If you won't make it dramatic, you can just spin around in a circle, and come back, isn't coming to you. [SPEAKER_04]: I don't think that's really shifts. [SPEAKER_04]: She mode us up around. [SPEAKER_04]: I have making jokes. [SPEAKER_00]: No, I do see that you tied the spinny chair so that it stays in one place But I think if you cut that little time thinking I have a little bit of a better time director.

[SPEAKER_03]: She says, oh, I don't Moral [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, and then just very slowly turns in her chair. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, this is so awkward. [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_04]: This is the above now. [SPEAKER_03]: This is great. [SPEAKER_03]: She turns all the way around her demeanor has not changed in any way.

[SPEAKER_03]: And she says, and now I am the financier. [SPEAKER_00]: So I believe that we can spare 3,000 gold for the three of you. [SPEAKER_01]: That's not a lot. [SPEAKER_01]: Why? [SPEAKER_01]: It's like my allowance. [SPEAKER_01]: It's all that I'm used to. [SPEAKER_01]: Like, gently elbow white.

[SPEAKER_01]: What? [SPEAKER_03]: She says, I would like to give more. [SPEAKER_03]: This is what we can comfortably offer at this time. [SPEAKER_00]: Thank you, director Schiff. [SPEAKER_00]: That is real generous. [SPEAKER_00]: That means a lot that'll really help us a long way. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, with that being settled, I believe that's everything we needed to discuss for now.

[SPEAKER_03]: I'm sure the three of you would be most eager to see your families, and there's a good deal of work to be done before you leave for three. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, my, thank you. [SPEAKER_01]: why it plays the harmonic apporally as he leaves the office. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay. [SPEAKER_00]: I always always such a joy when you do that because I know I get to put the sounds in.

[SPEAKER_03]: But I, when I, when I, when I, when I, when I, great, you all exit shift's office. [SPEAKER_03]: All of Twin River is at your disposal for this time. [SPEAKER_04]: Very big, fun, big, fun. [SPEAKER_00]: I think we all think that we are going to reconnect with our family and friends, and that Hayden is leading us there, and then we end up in front of the big bun.

[SPEAKER_04]: I know we got a lot of important stuff to do, but I just got real hungry. [SPEAKER_04]: I've been thinking about this for weeks. [SPEAKER_00]: I want the hell are we at the big bun? [SPEAKER_00]: Obviously my aunt's in weeks. [SPEAKER_04]: The hell are we doing here? [SPEAKER_00]: Hell I'm doing this for you.

[SPEAKER_04]: Oh my god. [SPEAKER_00]: Everybody could enjoy a big bun. [SPEAKER_00]: Dollars and daughters. [SPEAKER_00]: All right. [SPEAKER_03]: I think we got a few errands to run and we got to reconnect with our people so [SPEAKER_00]: Do we want to invite our people to the big bun or do we want to go see clothes first?

[SPEAKER_04]: No, let's tell everybody to meet at the big bun and then on our way to the big bun, we'll hit up clothes. [SPEAKER_00]: We should eat up because actually, if we go to the big bun first, then we're gonna have sticky fingers and clothes while lack is going on. [SPEAKER_00]: There you go. [SPEAKER_00]: Stop, let's take a finger.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, sir. [SPEAKER_01]: Sorry, what what? [SPEAKER_01]: Why didn't you tell me they were in there? [SPEAKER_00]: Honey, I... [SPEAKER_00]: I saw you grieving at the pit, and it felt unkind to tell you at that time. [SPEAKER_00]: So I was going to wait, I wasn't going to tell you right away unless you asked.

[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, how, how would I know I didn't even know it existed? [SPEAKER_01]: How would I know to ask? [SPEAKER_04]: Sala may have passed the point of protecting him. [SPEAKER_04]: He's in it. [SPEAKER_00]: You know what? [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you're right. [SPEAKER_00]: What? [SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry.

[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know who you are, 15 years old and you've had so God damn much put on your shoulders already. [SPEAKER_00]: And I don't know, I was, I was, the three years older than you when my mom across the river and the whole world came crashing down. [SPEAKER_00]: And a year after that I was in three and I had to grow up really damn fast.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but she wasn't, and Hayden, and Hayden had to grow up even faster than I did. [SPEAKER_00]: And I just didn't want to be one of the reasons that you had to grow up fast, too. [SPEAKER_00]: And you already are. [SPEAKER_00]: You have not had adults to care for you in the way that they should.

[SPEAKER_00]: Your mama better prey on never-mater. [SPEAKER_04]: Because there are some people who would give anything for a child like you. [SPEAKER_00]: And you are too damn good for all of this. [SPEAKER_00]: And it's not that I don't trust you because I do because you have proven yourself over and over and over again to be trustworthy.

[SPEAKER_00]: But I don't want to give you more trouble than I am yours. [SPEAKER_01]: When your family has money, there are different things that are important that show that you care about them. [SPEAKER_01]: I know that maybe I wasn't getting hugged every day from my parents or I don't know affection as some people like, but they did make sure that I was cared for every single day and anything I ever needed was there.

[SPEAKER_01]: So it's not as easy as just [SPEAKER_01]: saying by to them yeah he did some terrible things and and and we're gonna have to talk about that because it's it's it's awful but they've both made sure that I was okay every single day of my life why do you think I didn't want to show you that part of this because I didn't want to just turn you against your parents but I have to make my own decisions you can't keep making decisions for me about my life [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah you're right.

[SPEAKER_00]: It ain't my place. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry. [SPEAKER_00]: I know we ain't really family. [SPEAKER_01]: No, we're not. [SPEAKER_01]: Whoa. [SPEAKER_01]: Whoa. [SPEAKER_00]: Nah. [SPEAKER_04]: I better step back a moment. [SPEAKER_04]: This is tough. [SPEAKER_04]: There's a hard moment. [SPEAKER_04]: But dealing with stuff far beyond what we should have to do right now.

[SPEAKER_04]: But we're all here for each other. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: We are. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry. [SPEAKER_00]: Why? [SPEAKER_00]: It won't happen again. [SPEAKER_01]: Thanks. [SPEAKER_00]: I was presumptuous. [SPEAKER_00]: And that wasn't right. [SPEAKER_00]: And I will not keep anything from you again.

[SPEAKER_00]: But you got to understand that even if you weren't younger than us, Hayden and I would still be trying to look out for you. [SPEAKER_00]: All right. [SPEAKER_00]: That may not be how your family did things. [SPEAKER_00]: But that's how we do it. [SPEAKER_01]: Same. [SPEAKER_04]: Is there anything else I should know what is one more thing one dare important thing that you need to know [SPEAKER_04]: And that's that you need of a big ol' hug.

[SPEAKER_04]: I can't just nods it. [SPEAKER_04]: Raps both Solomon and Wyatt into this China way totally off a hug. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I'm like a little awkward about it. [SPEAKER_00]: Wyatt was like, we're not family, and I'm like, yeah, okay. [SPEAKER_01]: So why it's also just kind of stated they're not probably as off-put as Solomon is, but [SPEAKER_01]: It's still a little weird.

[SPEAKER_04]: Hayden starts walking the three of them down the street in the hog and does not let go. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, okay, no, let me out of here. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, both kind of score on it. [SPEAKER_03]: It's like trying to hold two cats. [SPEAKER_03]: They're like, yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Oz. [SPEAKER_00]: Can we try to, well, I think we ought to find, I can't, well, it's less fun, like a twin river garden, it might be a courier or something that we can ask to rally the troops at the big bun, and we go to Clovis.

[SPEAKER_00]: Can we, yeah, can we just like find a courier? [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, there's a career like standing there on the street corner. [SPEAKER_03]: Like somebody give me a message. [SPEAKER_00]: Hey Greg. [SPEAKER_00]: Hi. [SPEAKER_03]: Hi, I'm Greg. [SPEAKER_00]: Hey Greg. [SPEAKER_00]: Great to see you.

[SPEAKER_00]: Hi, how you doing? [SPEAKER_04]: Hey honey, you're going to be running around today. [SPEAKER_04]: We just give him a whole list of people to go track down and send to the big bump. [SPEAKER_03]: Greg looks at the list and goes, great. [SPEAKER_03]: Thank you. [SPEAKER_03]: I will go rally all of these people.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's basically everyone here. [SPEAKER_00]: It's so weird. [SPEAKER_03]: It's so weird. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, no. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: All done. [SPEAKER_03]: You do actually have to give me a list. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay. [SPEAKER_00]: Here's the thing. [SPEAKER_00]: I think there's two different things that we have to do.

[SPEAKER_00]: I think the first thing is that we should gather our families. [SPEAKER_04]: Or just the briars. [SPEAKER_04]: The briars, the fatespawn players. [SPEAKER_00]: I think we, I think we asked for the briars, the fatespawn players and the fipers. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: Greg. [SPEAKER_00]: So it's going to be teared.

[SPEAKER_01]: First. [SPEAKER_01]: you're going to bring the briars and win-o-n-o-n-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-o- [SPEAKER_01]: Reg it.

[SPEAKER_01]: So we're reconcitering. [SPEAKER_00]: 3,000 gold. [SPEAKER_00]: So how much would it be to sort of like buy your services for the day? [SPEAKER_00]: Okay. [SPEAKER_00]: We can't protect him with nothing. [SPEAKER_00]: The dollar might have right off the bat. [SPEAKER_00]: We've got a whole lot of some of that.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, God, you're not. [SPEAKER_00]: I've never been good with money. [SPEAKER_00]: 3,000 gold. [SPEAKER_01]: Nope. [SPEAKER_01]: I can't do it. [SPEAKER_01]: Greg, before we leave, what questions do you have about the eternal flame? [SPEAKER_04]: Why? [SPEAKER_04]: Why? [SPEAKER_04]: Another time.

[SPEAKER_01]: There's always time for the flame. [SPEAKER_03]: Greg, thanks for a second. [SPEAKER_03]: And then is like, so the ramifications of having a God to whom all creatures return at the end of the day and the idea that his returning will destroy the Earth itself. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, lolly, I re-enstate the guag.

[SPEAKER_04]: Why it stays? [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: We're just pulling Wyatt away. [SPEAKER_00]: Wyatt grabs Greg. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, it's Greg's coming. [SPEAKER_00]: Why? [SPEAKER_00]: I have a convert on his hands with this one. [SPEAKER_03]: Greg is like, how much of that is fear and how much of that is respect in the reference that we have towards that.

[SPEAKER_03]: Towards that. [SPEAKER_03]: You know what? [SPEAKER_03]: What? [SPEAKER_03]: What? [SPEAKER_03]: What? [SPEAKER_03]: What? [SPEAKER_03]: What? [SPEAKER_00]: What? [SPEAKER_00]: What? [SPEAKER_00]: What? [SPEAKER_00]: What? [SPEAKER_00]: What? [SPEAKER_00]: What? [SPEAKER_00]: What? [SPEAKER_00]: What?

[SPEAKER_00]: What? [SPEAKER_00]: What? [SPEAKER_00]: What? [SPEAKER_00]: What? [SPEAKER_00]: What? [SPEAKER_00]: What? [SPEAKER_00]: What? [SPEAKER_00]: What? [SPEAKER_00]: What? [SPEAKER_00]: What? [SPEAKER_03]: The shot front looks just as good as it did the first time that you arrived here, having fully recovered from the battle scars of the Battle of Twin River.

[SPEAKER_03]: You walk in and the same older, teafling man sits behind his counter and he says, [SPEAKER_03]: Wouldn't you happen to know my three favorite customers? [SPEAKER_01]: You do look a lot like my Taylor and three. [SPEAKER_03]: We just all have that face dear heart All tailors. [SPEAKER_03]: Yes, don't you know?

[SPEAKER_01]: It's not like a requirement that we all look like this. [SPEAKER_03]: Yes, absolutely. [SPEAKER_01]: You mean fabulous. [SPEAKER_03]: Thank you, darling [SPEAKER_00]: Clovis, darling, it looks like that shop window has been reconstructed beautifully as everything been going on since the reconstruction finished?

[SPEAKER_03]: Yes, I will say that the fighting did put a bit of a kinkin business, but now that we have returned the shop to its rightful self, well things just couldn't be better. [SPEAKER_00]: Good, glad to hear it. [SPEAKER_03]: Our stock continues to fly off the shelves, but perhaps because some [SPEAKER_03]: He gestures, some delightful social lights have taken to wearing my work.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, and who might that be? [SPEAKER_00]: So I don't see a social light anywhere. [SPEAKER_00]: I think I made damn sure that. [SPEAKER_01]: You're right there. [SPEAKER_01]: Correct. [SPEAKER_04]: Speaking of your merchandise flying off the shelves, I believe we have a transaction for you.

[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry, why are we not just asking for these things? [SPEAKER_01]: Why are we having this kind of vague around conversation about everything? [SPEAKER_01]: Because it's fun, why it? [SPEAKER_03]: OK, sorry, here's an art of flirting. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, that's full. [SPEAKER_00]: I love it.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: I take why it aside a little bit. [SPEAKER_00]: And I'm like, why it, um, uh, Clovis and Hayden lack to flirt. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't think that there's really anything that's going to happen from it. [SPEAKER_00]: So I don't think it's really anything to worry about, but the two of them have kind of a rapport.

[SPEAKER_00]: And they lack talking and riddles to each other, because I think, I don't know. [SPEAKER_00]: It didn't do much for me, but I think it does something for them. [SPEAKER_00]: Do we, do we help out? [SPEAKER_00]: No, no, we don't help out. [SPEAKER_01]: Should I try to join in? [SPEAKER_01]: That was them.

[SPEAKER_01]: That was them. [SPEAKER_01]: In talking, in talking. [SPEAKER_00]: That's kind of up to you. [SPEAKER_00]: I think we're really here just to make Hayden look good by comparison. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay, Paris. [SPEAKER_01]: I can put what does that mean? [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I just think we're kind of just here to be, you know, the, the night sky against which the star of Hayden can cake and shine brightly.

[SPEAKER_00]: Okay. [SPEAKER_00]: the backdrop as it were. [SPEAKER_01]: I'll do what I can. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, Clovis. [SPEAKER_00]: Anyway, to speak, just speak plainly, we got, we got some shit to pick up. [SPEAKER_00]: And also... [SPEAKER_00]: Language. [SPEAKER_00]: Sorry, why? [SPEAKER_00]: We got some things to pick up.

[SPEAKER_00]: And also, we actually might have even more business from you than that because we have just been told that we are [SPEAKER_03]: Right. [SPEAKER_03]: Stop. [SPEAKER_03]: You just made my day. [SPEAKER_04]: I'd rather have put clothes on my body for that gala. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh my god, allow me to close your bodies.

[SPEAKER_01]: After Hayden says that, why it casts thomoturgy to make just the ground under Clovis tremor a little bit. [SPEAKER_01]: I'm feeling something. [SPEAKER_04]: A bit. [SPEAKER_00]: Right. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, do you think you can set up a masquerade costumes in a way that it would be like literally impossible for anybody to tell who we are?

[SPEAKER_00]: Because that feels kind of important for me at least. [SPEAKER_03]: Do you know who you're talking to? [SPEAKER_03]: You're talking to clove us lettering. [SPEAKER_03]: This is one bad stitch. [SPEAKER_03]: Here we make our clients' dreams come true. [SPEAKER_00]: My dream is to disappear.

[SPEAKER_03]: Love, I know the few things sometimes. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, wow. [SPEAKER_03]: Allow me. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, allow me first to make good on a previous business dealing. [SPEAKER_03]: He rummages under the counter and pulls up two items. [SPEAKER_03]: The first is, it is like a lighter weight version of Bastion Arm.

[SPEAKER_03]: it is as if bastion armor were built for speed you see is it made out of the bastion armor it is it is it is repurposed it is lighter it is sleeker the helmet remains almost the same it still has that sort of fearsome persona however on its chest slanted and upside down [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, as you have outdone yourself.

[SPEAKER_03]: Out of game, this is half-plate bastion armor, so naturally you get an AC of 15 plus your decks. [SPEAKER_03]: However, while wearing this armor, you gain an additional plus 2 bonus to armor class. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, and then in addition, if an effect moves you against your will along the ground, you can take a reaction to reduce the distance you are moved by up to 10 feet.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, so with my sheep's mind, A.C. is 20. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes. [SPEAKER_00]: Wow. [SPEAKER_00]: That's exciting. [SPEAKER_00]: God, Clovis, this is just horrifying, actually, but it got, it's beautiful. [SPEAKER_00]: Thank you so much. [SPEAKER_03]: Perfect. [SPEAKER_03]: The, I figured it was just the thing to strike fear in your enemy's hearts.

[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's brilliant. [SPEAKER_00]: I think this is, I mean, this is exactly what we were going for. [SPEAKER_00]: I, um, a little scared of myself or asking for it, but this is something. [SPEAKER_00]: But what about my thing? [SPEAKER_03]: Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha [SPEAKER_03]: and says, for our discerning clientele.

[SPEAKER_03]: And you see that it is a staff. [SPEAKER_03]: At the head of the staff is the same horn from before, Jack's horn, but now it appears to be bursting forth, almost sprouting from the head of this staff. [SPEAKER_03]: Yes, it is bound in certain places with vines, with bits of twine. [SPEAKER_03]: It looks rough and a little frightening.

[SPEAKER_03]: And Clovis says this sort of just came to me, and you receive the staff of the living storm. [SPEAKER_03]: Holy, so the book, the staff of the Living Storm is a plus two magic quarter staff and it has an ability called Living Storm. [SPEAKER_03]: When you roll a 20 on your attack roll a natural 20 with this weapon, in addition to dealing critical damage to the target, all creatures within five feet of the target take a non-critical hit from this weapon.

[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, all green is good. [SPEAKER_03]: You do not care. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, including, okay, whenever you roll a one, you must roll on the wild magic surge table to create a magical effect. [SPEAKER_04]: That's amazing. [SPEAKER_03]: It's with this weapon automatically crit against targets under the effect of a mind control spell or a charm.

[SPEAKER_03]: Critical hits dealt in this manner do not use the living storm effect. [SPEAKER_04]: This is beautiful. [SPEAKER_04]: I love it. [SPEAKER_01]: The ground under Hayden tremors. [SPEAKER_04]: Can we design my Masquerade outfit around the staff? [SPEAKER_04]: Ooh! [SPEAKER_04]: Use the staff as inspiration.

[SPEAKER_04]: I want to be full nature deity on the dance floor. [SPEAKER_03]: I think that can be arranged. [SPEAKER_00]: Actually, Clovis, this does beg the question, listen, I love, love, love, love this armor. [SPEAKER_00]: I feel labelled a die at this mask, right? [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not know how I'm supposed to wear it with a dress.

[SPEAKER_03]: Clovis smiles and says, yes, well. [SPEAKER_03]: And takes the armor and then flips it. [SPEAKER_03]: In similar fashion to Hayden's coat, which is able to change on command, the armor flips into a ball gown. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, is it pink? [SPEAKER_03]: It is at the moment, pink. [SPEAKER_00]: At the moment, it does a change color?

[SPEAKER_03]: My dear, have fun. [SPEAKER_00]: I go to hug Clovis and forget that he's like a small old gay and good to have him to the ground. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I'm so so sorry, Your heart. [SPEAKER_00]: I just need some beautiful and I love it so much. [SPEAKER_00]: I never had a dress like this in my life.

[SPEAKER_03]: Well, thank you. [SPEAKER_03]: I couldn't resist. [SPEAKER_03]: I know. [SPEAKER_03]: inklings of what you've all been through. [SPEAKER_03]: And well, sometimes discretion is the greatest trait an outfit can possess. [SPEAKER_00]: A better part of Alara here. [SPEAKER_03]: And from what I hear a fairly [SPEAKER_03]: I hope that these suit your needs.

[SPEAKER_04]: Clovis, you are a true artist. [SPEAKER_04]: And I go up and just give them a little kiss on the cheek. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, thank you. [SPEAKER_00]: Why, dear Heart, I know you've already got a magic staff, but is there something that you need for a formal wear? [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I didn't see it.

[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of gallows or parties or events or anything, because you weren't old enough yet. [SPEAKER_00]: But, [SPEAKER_01]: you got to suit. [SPEAKER_01]: It's probably not the right thing to wear because it's kind of like religious formal. [SPEAKER_00]: So you stood okay. [SPEAKER_00]: So you need some secular formal.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't think we're going for estimates. [SPEAKER_03]: Loves secular formal is my little name. [SPEAKER_01]: I have many middle names, I really want to go in with like, with like a lion, because no one really knows the flame is a lion except for us. [SPEAKER_01]: So if I did a lion mask with like, if it is kind of a robe situation with just like a massive [SPEAKER_01]: fluffy lapel like a mane, that's cool.

[SPEAKER_01]: So we're taking inspiration from a lion. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, absolutely. [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe not fire lion. [SPEAKER_00]: Don't worry about where that came from, but just in case I'm a random chance you were thinking fire lion, not that. [SPEAKER_03]: Clovis holds your gaze for a moment. [SPEAKER_03]: And then says, if that is everything that you need, [SPEAKER_03]: I will go ahead and begin work on your Lion Formal.

[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you. [SPEAKER_03]: And as for the two of you, my dear, any inspiration for your masks. [SPEAKER_00]: Clovis, could you do some kinder? [SPEAKER_00]: Forany tree, tap situation? [SPEAKER_03]: Hmm. [SPEAKER_03]: Yes, I believe I can. [SPEAKER_03]: Absolutely. [SPEAKER_03]: So one lion, one thorned tree.

[SPEAKER_04]: I'd love some antlers. [SPEAKER_03]: Any animal in particular, or something similar to your new staff? [SPEAKER_04]: Let's go with the staff. [SPEAKER_04]: A rabbit with antlers was what I had in mind. [SPEAKER_03]: Interesting. [SPEAKER_03]: very interesting, a rabbit with antlers who was heard of such a thing.

[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know how y'all get anything done. [SPEAKER_00]: Listen, Clovis, darling, I think we got to hit the road and go connect with our families, but truly thank you so much. [SPEAKER_00]: We cannot thank you enough for everything. [SPEAKER_03]: Of course, dear. [SPEAKER_03]: I'll have these ready for you before you leave town.

[SPEAKER_03]: And do you head out? [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but there's one more, one last tremor for, for all the same. [SPEAKER_02]: You are all headed to the big bun, having notified your family to be there. [SPEAKER_00]: having office hours at the big bun. [SPEAKER_03]: As you walk, it may occur to you that this is perhaps the first time the fatespun players and the briers will get back together.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, no, that's occurred to me before I was thinking about it. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm way over here. [SPEAKER_00]: If Q was here, I probably wouldn't have been a little more sensitive about it. [SPEAKER_00]: But I think saw my realizes that part way through and goes, oh, you know what, we might want to get there quick.

[SPEAKER_00]: It's actually going to, I want to pull out a sob and warner. [SPEAKER_00]: Shit. [SPEAKER_03]: You arrive at the big button. [SPEAKER_03]: And this is the first time the big button has actually liked physically existed in this show. [SPEAKER_03]: So I'm setting how it looks now. [SPEAKER_03]: You arrive and it is, you arrive at the big button.

[SPEAKER_03]: This level of twin river, a lot of the buildings are sort of built directly into the supports that hold the whole thing up. [SPEAKER_03]: And so when you get to the big bun, it is sandwiched between these two large pillars that support the center of twin river. [SPEAKER_03]: and so the big bun is this facade between the two sort of this old west facade with a sign out front with a big cinnamon roll on it.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: And it's surrounded by all of these like really seediest establishments. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, like there's a guy out front with like a eye patch and like a hood and he's like, hey, you'll wanna buy something like... [SPEAKER_00]: It's just one piece of shit. [SPEAKER_00]: That's how it always takes one.

[SPEAKER_03]: It only takes one. [SPEAKER_03]: We've been trying to get rid of it. [SPEAKER_03]: You walk in to see the shadiest woman behind the desk, like behind the counter at the front. [SPEAKER_03]: And she's like, Welcome to the big bun. [SPEAKER_01]: Hi, how are you today? [SPEAKER_02]: You know, nobody really asks me that.

[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, that's, that's really unfortunate. [SPEAKER_03]: She thinks about it. [SPEAKER_03]: She thinks about it and it takes like a good 20 seconds of just silence as she goes. [SPEAKER_02]: You know, things could be better. [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, business sort of slowed ever since the battle.

[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, no. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: I mean, we weren't hit as hard on this level. [SPEAKER_02]: The battle was mostly upstairs, but when people's homes get destroyed, they're not as likely to buy pastries. [SPEAKER_02]: So the economy took a little bit of a hit. [SPEAKER_04]: We're also having a party of about 20 people coming right now.

[SPEAKER_04]: So I hope you're prepared. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh yeah, we're having office hours at the big bun, so actually you're about to get a lot of business as long as y'all can have the capacity for it. [SPEAKER_02]: Oh my God, it's the moment we've been waiting for. [SPEAKER_00]: Also, I'm so sorry, man, what did you say your name was?

[SPEAKER_04]: This is everything I wanted to be. [SPEAKER_00]: I was all like, this is why it made me laugh. [SPEAKER_00]: We've been real big fans of yours to have been for a long time, but it made no one's got to take it out, so we've never been inside except for Hayden. [SPEAKER_02]: Oh, well, hey, I'm glad you're here.

[SPEAKER_02]: Of course, the name is the name Sorgah. [SPEAKER_00]: So we're good. [SPEAKER_00]: What a sort of look like, Casey. [SPEAKER_03]: I picture Sorgha as she is fully like six foot seven orc, like standing behind this little pastry counter. [SPEAKER_03]: She has like one broken tusk, and she's like, yeah, pastries in my life.

[SPEAKER_04]: That's nice. [SPEAKER_04]: Hayden steps up like you know y'all go ahead and get a seat. [SPEAKER_04]: I'll just put it in a big order for everybody All right, make sure you order for the rest of us, huh? [SPEAKER_04]: No, did don't forget your punch card. [SPEAKER_04]: I got I bring out like seven punch cards I've been pick pocketing punch cards for people across town [SPEAKER_00]: I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I-I [SPEAKER_03]: Great, Hayden, you order, and it's about that time as the order is placed and you start to head to your table, that two older women walk in.

[SPEAKER_00]: Is it who I think it is? [SPEAKER_03]: Yes, one has sort of iron gray upcapped hair, and the other one has a brunette now slowly graying braid down her back. [SPEAKER_03]: the one with the braid turns, squeals and runs to the table, and the other one a little more reserved, it heads there as well.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, look at the catcher again, I love the two of you how y'all do it. [SPEAKER_03]: Maggie fully dives across the table to hug you. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, oh, it's so good every time. [SPEAKER_03]: whoever's sitting next to Solome is he's getting pulled into honestly all three of you like Maggie just sort of bear hugs the table all of you.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's the raccoon hug yours. [SPEAKER_00]: I didn't even know go through that long. [SPEAKER_00]: I kind of lit all you're kind of shorter than me and I never expect how at D.P. [SPEAKER_00]: Knug. [SPEAKER_03]: Aw, dear heart, they were made for Huggin' She sits down and Lila arrives as well and says, Wait, wait, did, glad for it.

[SPEAKER_00]: I can't get over here. [SPEAKER_00]: I give her a hug. [SPEAKER_00]: I make her hug me. [SPEAKER_03]: She pats you. [SPEAKER_03]: And then sits down as well. [SPEAKER_03]: Elias says, we were told to come here by a rather put-up on career. [SPEAKER_03]: Don't know if y'all folks know anything about that.

[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, that's just Greg. [SPEAKER_00]: Right, we do have to actually, uh, I just wanted to ant lot in particular, give you a little bit of warning. [SPEAKER_00]: Uh, we are asking a few people to come because we wanted to speak with our families and that includes, uh, my family. [SPEAKER_00]: Not my.

[SPEAKER_03]: Her eyes narrow as you say these things. [SPEAKER_00]: Right, we didn't find Q, but we did find the rest of the fights. [SPEAKER_00]: But players and they might become in here to the big one. [SPEAKER_00]: Not all. [SPEAKER_03]: I like to get stuff. [SPEAKER_00]: Not that one, not that one, not that one, not that one, not that one, not that one, not that one, not that one, not that one, not that one, not that one, not that one, not that one, not that one, not that one, not that one, not that one, not that one, not that one, not that one, not that one, not that one, not that one, not that one, not that one, not that one, not that one, not that one, not that one, not that one, not that one, not that one, not that one, not that one, not that one, not that one, not that one, not that one, not that one, not that one, not that one, not that one, not that one, not that one

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, hey, we have it filled you in at all. [SPEAKER_00]: Why don't y'all sit down? [SPEAKER_03]: Why it takes a big breath. [SPEAKER_03]: Maggie is quietly nibbling a bun. [SPEAKER_00]: Why don't y'all sit down and why it will tell you in one breath what happened? [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, you are gonna love this.

[SPEAKER_00]: Why, why did something real cool? [SPEAKER_00]: Why, tell her what you did, tell her what you did. [SPEAKER_01]: I, saying, [SPEAKER_01]: A bridge into existence. [SPEAKER_03]: He did it with somebody to save my life. [SPEAKER_03]: And it was very safe. [SPEAKER_03]: It was very safe. [SPEAKER_03]: It was very safe.

[SPEAKER_03]: It was very safe. [SPEAKER_04]: It was very safe. [SPEAKER_04]: It was very safe. [SPEAKER_04]: And then Solomon immediately stepped off of it. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, I did, but would not be your niece if I didn't. [SPEAKER_04]: It was safe until Solomon did a Solomon about it. [SPEAKER_03]: Matthew, Maggie, fully like jaw drops and says, you threw the power of song manifested.

[SPEAKER_01]: I think so. [SPEAKER_03]: Stop. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, you have to tell me everything. [SPEAKER_03]: She like grabs you and says, tell me, tell me everything. [SPEAKER_01]: Um, what did you do? [SPEAKER_01]: How did you do it? [SPEAKER_01]: Um, well, Solomon was, uh, hanging over a pit, which we'll get to that part, no, sorry.

[SPEAKER_01]: Hang over a bottomless pit. [SPEAKER_01]: I'll live. [SPEAKER_01]: And don't worry about it. [SPEAKER_01]: She's good. [SPEAKER_01]: She's still here. [SPEAKER_01]: One of the first time we'll be the last. [SPEAKER_01]: The wireless size and roles are eyes. [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it was a little bit her fault, but yeah, it's neither here nor there.

[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, and then and then I just kind of was I just believed and and I said there's a bridge to solid Bay Breyer and it's very safe. [SPEAKER_02]: I sang it and then a very safe bridge appeared to solid May Breyer. [SPEAKER_01]: And then she immediately tried to step off it.

[SPEAKER_00]: But, you know, I was testing. [SPEAKER_00]: I was testing to see whether it was bridge to where I was or whether it was bridge to me generally because that would have been two different things. [SPEAKER_00]: I did hold on. [SPEAKER_03]: Hmm. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, you know, you know, that sounds about right.

[SPEAKER_03]: But, I, kid, I could not be more proud of you. [SPEAKER_00]: Thanks, Maggie. [SPEAKER_00]: That's the second time he done that. [SPEAKER_03]: He hugs you and says, [SPEAKER_03]: Neither did I, but I'm proud of you. [SPEAKER_03]: You know something, I think you got the makins of a bard in you.

[SPEAKER_03]: I heard the way you played that, Armanica. [SPEAKER_03]: You got, they're some raw talent in there. [SPEAKER_04]: Very raw, it needs some cooking. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, would you maybe want to play with me later? [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, dear heart, you're speaking my language. [SPEAKER_03]: Absolutely, I'll listen, I'll play any day I'm instrument with you.

[SPEAKER_00]: I kind of look at Lila and say, well it's a good thing we've probably got a band together. [SPEAKER_03]: She... She's a little bit fuming. [SPEAKER_04]: At the risk of buttoning, I feel like there's a a smoother way to say this. [SPEAKER_04]: We were in some danger and we ran into [SPEAKER_04]: nay and call and own of the fatesbun players.

[SPEAKER_04]: We helped them out and well the the last result and they said they were on their way to twin river. [SPEAKER_03]: They've been here this whole time. [SPEAKER_03]: Or at least last little bit, huh? [SPEAKER_04]: Last little bit. [SPEAKER_03]: As you say that, three of the most non-descript people you've ever seen.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, person A, B, and Q. [SPEAKER_03]: This is like the vanilla ice cream of people. [SPEAKER_03]: There is just, there is no, there's nothing to these people. [SPEAKER_03]: There's no toppings, there's no flavor. [SPEAKER_00]: Just forgettable things. [SPEAKER_03]: These are the people that, yeah, as soon as you turn away from them, you can't remember what they look like.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, these three just NPCs walk in and they look over and clock all of you and clock [SPEAKER_00]: I don't think that we fully thought this through, but we were more trying to just connect with our families, which happens to be y'all. [SPEAKER_00]: Do you want us to leave? [SPEAKER_04]: I don't want to leave.

[SPEAKER_04]: Haines gonna run over and give them a hug while this conversation happens. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, the older of the three that you can assume is own, like immediately hugs you back and says, [SPEAKER_03]: So, things are a little tense, I guess we weren't expecting everyone to be here. [SPEAKER_04]: We didn't, we didn't have a plan.

[SPEAKER_04]: Okay. [SPEAKER_04]: It's all about that. [SPEAKER_04]: That's clear. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I mean, yes. [SPEAKER_04]: I don't really know what all happened. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, there's no better way to do this than to do it. [SPEAKER_03]: So, own walks over and says, greetings, prior sisters, it's, well, it's been too long.

[SPEAKER_03]: And, Lila sits awkwardly and silently, and Maggie, all the wild glancing at Lila, [SPEAKER_03]: gets up and says, you know what, damn it, it has. [SPEAKER_03]: You know what, I'm sick and tired of all this awkwardness. [SPEAKER_03]: And we're about to have it out right now. [SPEAKER_03]: Everybody sit down.

[SPEAKER_03]: There we go. [SPEAKER_03]: Everybody sit down. [SPEAKER_03]: And we can air all of our awkwardness and all of our weirdness. [SPEAKER_03]: And then we can go back to being the delightful damn people that I know we all are white sits. [SPEAKER_03]: Thank you. [SPEAKER_00]: Why it. [SPEAKER_00]: I go to sit, but I said kind of next to Hayden and it was for just to answer your question before of what happened.

[SPEAKER_00]: The answer is me. [SPEAKER_04]: Wait, I thought that I thought that your mom was Beth not Lala. [SPEAKER_00]: She was, but she went to Echo and then Lala and Maggie had to follow her out there and she got pregnant. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Got it. [SPEAKER_04]: How long should I wait before I mention that failed try to kill me?

[SPEAKER_04]: We'll get there. [SPEAKER_03]: You say that out loud? [SPEAKER_03]: Okay. [SPEAKER_00]: No, we're quiet. [SPEAKER_00]: This is for the choice. [SPEAKER_03]: Okay. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't see it as far away from Lila as possible. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, they all sit. [SPEAKER_03]: And there is a long silence.

[SPEAKER_01]: So. [SPEAKER_01]: How was everyone's day? [SPEAKER_03]: How's everybody doing? [SPEAKER_03]: Lilith says, I certainly been better. [SPEAKER_00]: Expand on that. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, that looks at Solome. [SPEAKER_00]: See, I had almost gotten used to the feeling of us getting along, but this actually feels more comfortable now.

[SPEAKER_00]: So that's good. [SPEAKER_01]: I bet. [SPEAKER_01]: And how does that make you feel Solome? [SPEAKER_00]: Wonderful. [SPEAKER_00]: Thank you for asking why it look look. [SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to simplify this whole thing. [SPEAKER_04]: All right. [SPEAKER_04]: These are the fates bum players.

[SPEAKER_04]: They are my family. [SPEAKER_04]: Solome, Maggie, Lala, you're my family. [SPEAKER_04]: We'll get in the inlaws together. [SPEAKER_04]: All right. [SPEAKER_04]: So all your better be on your best behavior because we got other things to deal with. [SPEAKER_04]: All right. [SPEAKER_03]: As you are saying these things you here.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: Wait, we're family and a certain red-headed sister. [SPEAKER_00]: Steps forward. [SPEAKER_03]: When I want to step forward and says, listen, I don't really know you, but if you're anything like Solomon, you're a little stubborn, a little sort of set on doing your own thing, no matter what other people are telling you to do, [SPEAKER_00]: Thank you, Winona.

[SPEAKER_00]: This is so nice. [SPEAKER_03]: Gosh, what's the word? [SPEAKER_03]: A little too willing to get into the shit at all times. [SPEAKER_00]: I really love being around people who lack me so much. [SPEAKER_00]: I've ruffled all of my hair. [SPEAKER_03]: She looks at you as I'm getting somewhere.

[SPEAKER_03]: Also impatient. [SPEAKER_00]: Alright, get there then. [SPEAKER_03]: Also, inpatient and a little unwilling to take criticism, but... [SPEAKER_00]: Thank you. [SPEAKER_04]: Hey, it's beaming. [SPEAKER_00]: I love taking criticism. [SPEAKER_00]: It's one of my favorite things to do. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not sensitive at all.

[SPEAKER_03]: Twilight is also fuming and Maggie is cackling. [SPEAKER_03]: Maggie and Hayden high five. [SPEAKER_03]: Maggie's just going check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check, check,

[SPEAKER_03]: And so, if you're anything like her, then I've spent time with these folks and, well, be that to them, too. [SPEAKER_03]: Because, well, you're all family now, whether you like it or not. [SPEAKER_03]: And she sits down at the table. [SPEAKER_00]: Hey, girl. [SPEAKER_03]: She wakes up, you know.

[SPEAKER_00]: Thanks one on to that dead come around in a nice way. [SPEAKER_03]: Like I said, patience. [SPEAKER_03]: And says, well, where is she stumbles a little bit? [SPEAKER_03]: And Owen says, well, a fellow departed us shortly after you left. [SPEAKER_03]: And then, well, we discovered that we were being hunted.

[SPEAKER_03]: And so we decided to split. [SPEAKER_03]: remaining four of us. [SPEAKER_03]: Three of us were found, were hunted and found. [SPEAKER_03]: One was, and they stopped, and they say, well, I don't know. [SPEAKER_00]: We've at least gotten answered for what happened to Phil. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, looks at you, and says, what?

[SPEAKER_04]: y'all betrayed them, half mature, and I like you, and a figured you might be able to fill in some blanks on that bit. [SPEAKER_00]: They called Hayden a friend of the Briars. [SPEAKER_03]: Own size really deeply, and Lila and Maggie both look at them. [SPEAKER_03]: Lila a little pointedly.

[SPEAKER_03]: And on size and says, [SPEAKER_03]: I guess I should have told you a little bit more about Phel. [SPEAKER_03]: Phel was hateful to outsiders, to non-change lanes, and they look at Lila in particular when they say, and some people took an unfortunate brunt of their hatred. [SPEAKER_03]: And they look at you, Solomon, and they say, your mother in particular.

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, is that why she didn't really get on with y'all? [SPEAKER_00]: I didn't seem like her to just up and run away was what happened between fell and mama. [SPEAKER_03]: It's more complicated than that, but your mother did not take kindly to hitching [SPEAKER_03]: the briar wagon to hours and fell mirrored to that.

[SPEAKER_00]: Right. [SPEAKER_03]: Fell did not like that. [SPEAKER_03]: We had acquired more players. [SPEAKER_04]: Hmm. [SPEAKER_03]: After everything happened, they look at Lila and they say, we were run out of town by hostile townsfolk. [SPEAKER_03]: And this is new information to Lila. [SPEAKER_03]: You see, Lila didn't know about this.

[SPEAKER_03]: Lila isn't, Lila is registering new information. [SPEAKER_03]: And Oens has fell, linked the two events in their mind. [SPEAKER_03]: Your departure and our being run out of town, they believed that Beth had spread rumors about us. [SPEAKER_03]: They look at Colin and Nae and say, we don't believe that.

[SPEAKER_03]: But Fel grew angry. [SPEAKER_03]: They said they couldn't stand around and watch us, get ourselves killed in the name of hand-holding false goodwill. [SPEAKER_03]: And they started to develop a very bad habit. [SPEAKER_03]: When we were done performing in a village, they would sneak into the village and disguise.

[SPEAKER_03]: and get into brawls, in taverns, start fights. [SPEAKER_03]: And one night after being attacked in a bar by a drunkard, they circled back around and murdered him. [SPEAKER_03]: When we discovered this, we confronted them. [SPEAKER_03]: And they left. [SPEAKER_03]: And we haven't seen them since.

[SPEAKER_04]: They've escalated since then. [SPEAKER_04]: part of wealth, they were part of an organization that was killing for sport, and they now have the ability to disappear. [SPEAKER_04]: The change-ling powers have evolved, like mine, but in a different direction. [SPEAKER_04]: God's. [SPEAKER_00]: Do we know where all that came from?

[SPEAKER_00]: In them, did they have a history that's different from [SPEAKER_03]: They are not blood related to us, but they always kept something from us. [SPEAKER_03]: When we would gather at the table and tell stories they would hold back. [SPEAKER_03]: If a story approached to near something they would stop, something happened to them.

[SPEAKER_00]: encountered grief and gone down some pretty dark roads. [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, Aunt Mags, Aunt Lally all just came out from a situation like that in Blackthorn Hall, that they were under ground for six months. [SPEAKER_03]: Now own rigid own name, all registered new information. [SPEAKER_00]: With somebody who got lost in their grief and took it out on other people.

[SPEAKER_03]: They look at Lila in particular and say, I'm sorry. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm sorry we couldn't have been there. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm sorry we weren't enough for a fail, and that they took it out on you. [SPEAKER_03]: And they look at the three of you and say, and you. [SPEAKER_03]: Lila X hails for what seems like forever.

[SPEAKER_03]: And then says, they ain't your fault. [SPEAKER_03]: Sometimes she looks at you, saw me. [SPEAKER_03]: Sometimes people get big ideas in their head. [SPEAKER_03]: they just got to do what they got to do. [SPEAKER_03]: I ain't your fault for not being able to stop them. [SPEAKER_03]: I ain't your fault for friction.

[SPEAKER_03]: And, well Maggie was right, it's been two day and a while. [SPEAKER_00]: It led to you think that Mama would have done something like that. [SPEAKER_00]: Back then, I mean, person I knew wouldn't have, but I feel like I've learned so much about her. [SPEAKER_00]: Some good and some less than good, and I don't want to speak ill of the dead, but do you think that's something she would have done?

[SPEAKER_03]: Lila thinks about it. [SPEAKER_03]: She says, I ain't never known her to have that deep mean streak, innner. [SPEAKER_03]: I hope not. [SPEAKER_00]: We too. [SPEAKER_03]: But the mama you knew. [SPEAKER_03]: Never wouldn't have done that. [SPEAKER_03]: Everybody sits for a minute, and it is during the silence.

[SPEAKER_03]: That another person walks into the big bun. [SPEAKER_04]: Hmm. [SPEAKER_03]: Is hair starting to grow out a little bit? [SPEAKER_04]: Hmm. [SPEAKER_03]: It's not quite the buzz cut. [SPEAKER_03]: The sort of shaved that it was before. [SPEAKER_03]: It's had a month or so to grow. [SPEAKER_04]: Hmm.

[SPEAKER_03]: So it's starting to get a little shaggy now. [SPEAKER_03]: In walks rat. [SPEAKER_03]: And when known up freezes. [SPEAKER_03]: As this is the first time they've seen each other. [SPEAKER_00]: Damn, we might as well get all these out of the way. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, what? [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_01]: I'm so happy to just watch. [SPEAKER_04]: I will squeeze when on his hand and start to stand. [SPEAKER_04]: I continue holding on, but like, if it seems like she's resisting and staying in her sea, I won't pull. [SPEAKER_03]: She fully gets up from the table. [SPEAKER_04]: Okay. [SPEAKER_04]: Then we will walk together to wrap.

[SPEAKER_03]: You walk over to wrap. [SPEAKER_03]: As soon as she can, Winona slaps Rat. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, yeah, not that great and I was expecting, but... [SPEAKER_03]: I heard you were here, and Rat nods, he says, I've been around. [SPEAKER_04]: Winona, he went through a lot. [SPEAKER_04]: so much more than other of us did and you just need a time to sort through it.

[SPEAKER_04]: But how are you doing? [SPEAKER_01]: At this, oh, okay. [SPEAKER_01]: I was just saying at this moment, why it takes out rats, headrock, and just presents it to this conversation. [SPEAKER_03]: When I want to look at it, this is hell is that. [SPEAKER_01]: Uh, this was the rock that was in Rats Head that allowed courtois people to control him.

[SPEAKER_01]: They're in the other assassins as well. [SPEAKER_03]: Maggie about that time, Chimes in this is, we did, we did have to pull a rock from that boy skull. [SPEAKER_03]: took a good four of us at least, and the horn of a mythical creature, mythical son of a bitch. [SPEAKER_03]: I just play the staff, the Maggie goes, whoa, wait a minute, we got to talk about that.

[SPEAKER_03]: Oh, we do, oh, and Winona says, I, and all of this, and all of this just makes it better. [SPEAKER_04]: Cool. [SPEAKER_03]: Rat got to be brainwashed, and now we accept him. [SPEAKER_03]: Got to? [SPEAKER_03]: Rat is looking like a kicked puppy as what on the says this. [SPEAKER_03]: And what on the says, I don't know what to do now.

[SPEAKER_03]: I'm just supposed to accept that you're back. [SPEAKER_03]: I thought you were dead. [SPEAKER_04]: I thought you'd be happy to see you. [SPEAKER_04]: Of course you made mistakes. [SPEAKER_04]: We all know that. [SPEAKER_04]: He certainly knows that. [SPEAKER_04]: I can make that very clear, but it's the three of us again.

[SPEAKER_04]: We won't rebuild exactly what it was before. [SPEAKER_04]: We don't want it to be what it was before. [SPEAKER_04]: But a pipe is a pipe no matter what. [SPEAKER_04]: And we'll find our way through it. [SPEAKER_04]: If you want to go, you can go. [SPEAKER_04]: You've already fulfilled your obligations.

[SPEAKER_03]: Roll a persuasion check. [SPEAKER_04]: That's an at 20. [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, of course it is. [SPEAKER_00]: Wow. [SPEAKER_00]: Of course it is. [SPEAKER_00]: What is it not? [SPEAKER_00]: Is it really? [SPEAKER_01]: It's gross it is. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, show us. [SPEAKER_00]: Show us. [SPEAKER_00]: Of course it is.

[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if you could see it. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Yep. [SPEAKER_00]: So those are the holes. [SPEAKER_00]: Those are the holes. [SPEAKER_00]: That's crazy. [SPEAKER_03]: Winona starts sobbing and then she pulls rat in. [SPEAKER_03]: And she says, I thought you were dead.

[SPEAKER_03]: You stupid idiot. [SPEAKER_02]: I thought I'd lost everybody. [SPEAKER_03]: And Rats says, [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, you weren't so lucky. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh. [SPEAKER_03]: And then when on a, when on a wife's tears from rise and says, and God damn it, after I just said the whole stupid thing about family and everybody accepting each other now I go off and look like a big idiot.

[SPEAKER_03]: All right, come sit down. [SPEAKER_04]: I wasn't gonna say it, but yeah, you gotta rise. [SPEAKER_00]: It is crazy how our words come back to haunt us when I'm hearing it. [SPEAKER_03]: She looks, she looks at you and says, smug. [SPEAKER_03]: Stop it. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, thank you. [SPEAKER_00]: Thank you.

[SPEAKER_00]: Hey, if, you know, if people call me something, I might as well try and live up to it. [SPEAKER_01]: The ground beneath we're known to trembles a little bit. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I didn't get smug before though. [SPEAKER_00]: So I was going to, I was going in for another one and I got smugs.

[SPEAKER_03]: No, smugs, no, smugs and I like it. [SPEAKER_00]: No, but you know what, it makes sense. [SPEAKER_03]: It makes sense in context now. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, if it's all into the whole thing. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, no, it was the missing, yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: And everybody sits down at the table.

[SPEAKER_03]: And eventually, Sorghe comes around with a whole plate of sweet buns. [SPEAKER_03]: And you all dig in. [SPEAKER_04]: Right, I got a cheesy bum for you. [SPEAKER_03]: He says, oh, nasty. [SPEAKER_03]: Throw it here. [SPEAKER_03]: He loved it. [SPEAKER_03]: And from here, it feels like the tension's been released.

[SPEAKER_03]: And people start to talk freely. [SPEAKER_03]: There's reminiscing on the good all times. [SPEAKER_03]: There is stories of pick pockets and plays and nasty diseases. [SPEAKER_03]: Like, there's all sorts of things thrown across the table. [SPEAKER_03]: Is there anything y'all talk about?

[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, it's, I mean, I think it is imperative to kind of fill them in about everything. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think I think Solomon is says, oh, uh, while we're at it, actually, uh, why? [SPEAKER_00]: You won't give us that one breath recap. [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so first we saved a thunder pass from some zombies and a bad guy and we met a new friend who's coming back and then we made it all the way to echo where we met some of some sold friends who are cordon, oh we went we met one of my friends, I think I just took a breath so this isn't one breath we met my best friend David was really, really nice and I gave him all my money and then we went to casino.

[SPEAKER_01]: and and one and beat up a guy there who was who was who was controlled by fax who was it was a a demonish kind of thing who was controlling the university and then I'm running at a breath. [SPEAKER_01]: And then we went into facts, which it affects his library, which is where I sang the bridge into existence.

[SPEAKER_01]: And then we fought facts. [SPEAKER_01]: I died. [SPEAKER_01]: We can get into more of that later. [SPEAKER_01]: But I came back where I met the lion. [SPEAKER_01]: And then Hayden met the terrifying wilds. [SPEAKER_01]: And Solomon may met the otter and had to negotiate for my life with V who I think you know about.

[SPEAKER_01]: And this isn't [SPEAKER_01]: privilege and information that I'm giving to the world now and then they know about it and then we went and met the Knights of Sacrament, which are kind of like an ancient version of the church of the eternal flame, which is really kind of cool and really interesting And I have so many questions for them, but enough about that then we fell into a big hole hole [SPEAKER_01]: And then we got separated in the whole where I talked to an old guy for a really long time, but then Hayden got put in a gladiator pit for people for the rich people.

[SPEAKER_01]: And Solomon, I don't remember what you did right now. [SPEAKER_01]: Sorry. [SPEAKER_01]: You had a conversation with another woman. [SPEAKER_01]: And [SPEAKER_01]: I was up a Linda, Blinda was there who I don't know if you guys know, but Blinda's a person and I don't believe I've told them about the Linda.

[SPEAKER_00]: No, that is that is very talented. [SPEAKER_01]: Uh, did you see how they were talking? [SPEAKER_01]: Really, uh, Solomon talks to Blinda similarly to how, how she was just talking? [SPEAKER_01]: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, [SPEAKER_01]: The guy I was talking to became like a fire deity, but I didn't like that fire the deity So we kind of beat him up and then we had to free everybody because it was surprised It was a prison We met father of Denner who also died and then we survived and then we met back up because we were separated And then that's where Hayden saw a fell and now we're here

[SPEAKER_01]: So I'll make out a new dress. [SPEAKER_04]: Also follow me in the store live. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh yes. [SPEAKER_00]: Follow me in the store live, yeah, that's true. [SPEAKER_00]: Otherwise, yeah, pretty much covered it. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, okay. [SPEAKER_00]: I do have an additional question before we get to into the weeds about Belinda.

[SPEAKER_03]: Do y'all, yeah, yeah, we're, we're not losing track of that. [SPEAKER_00]: No, that's all right, that's all right. [SPEAKER_00]: I think this can be like a one-way medallin' sort of relationship, so I have two questions for you and they relate to sort of rat no offense, but we got two more sad boys to bring you after this.

[SPEAKER_03]: Ratsa, Ratsa's great, we're gonna get jackets. [SPEAKER_03]: This app voice club, Clovis can make them. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, we can have a little patches. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, one of them is, well, one owner's, one owner's, the lotful roommate, Lassander, who also happens to be, hey, nice and tight.

[SPEAKER_03]: Hmm, come again. [SPEAKER_03]: What was that? [SPEAKER_03]: Who also happens to be? [SPEAKER_03]: The Adoptious Chamison. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: Right, that one. [SPEAKER_03]: Conveniently left out the part where you met with a Jamison. [SPEAKER_00]: I wasn't given the recap in a lot.

[SPEAKER_03]: I'm sorry, that's my bad. [SPEAKER_03]: Mm. [SPEAKER_01]: Mm. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, he decided he didn't want to be a Jameson anymore and wanted to be a sad boy instead. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, he's an artist. [SPEAKER_01]: He's an artist. [SPEAKER_01]: But he's kind of a neppo baby, so he could support himself.

[SPEAKER_01]: He's an artist. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_00]: He's an artist, but not only that, actually. [SPEAKER_00]: All right. [SPEAKER_00]: No, no, no, no, no, no. [SPEAKER_00]: I know it's a lot, but he's also an oracle. [SPEAKER_01]: an oracle. [SPEAKER_01]: Um, Sorgra, can we lock the door so no one gets all this information?

[SPEAKER_01]: It's like a sort of a little bit. [SPEAKER_03]: It looks around at the empty restaurant and says, yeah, I'll get right on that. [SPEAKER_00]: Thanks. [SPEAKER_00]: Sorgra, you're in this now. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry. [SPEAKER_00]: We will have to be involved if you've made it. [SPEAKER_00]: You're in the fight.

[SPEAKER_01]: So here's what happened before that. [SPEAKER_01]: No, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. [SPEAKER_00]: So. [SPEAKER_00]: Look, yeah, last hander, I think it is an oracle of some kind. [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if it's like the three speaking through him or what, but he's having visions and he's having visions of, of, it's how it looks down at the Jameson logo upside down on her armor and says, he painted one of that, one of these, and he painted guns and scenes of big doors and he was trying to paint a map, but it was scared and hell out of [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know at the end of the day, it seemed like he wanted to help us, but then he got taken by somebody, well, his brothers hired somebody else who is the other sad boy in question, who is actually the brother of Belinda Bartle, Barabas Bartle.

[SPEAKER_00]: And the pilot question that I had about Barabas is do y'all know any cures for vampirism Because I didn't tell him that we've looked into it, but he's feeling real self destructive right now And if I'm being honest with you so am I and Belinda got pretty hot with both me and him about it And so she's not really happy with other of us right now But Barabas in particular is sort of planned on going to three [SPEAKER_00]: and walking out into the sun.

[SPEAKER_00]: So we would love to be able to help him if we can. [SPEAKER_03]: Lila says, okay. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, walking out into the sun is one cure. [SPEAKER_00]: Innocence. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but I'd be the only one that leaves him alive because he might be a little sorely, but he seems like a really good person.

[SPEAKER_00]: He deserves better than this. [SPEAKER_03]: There is a- there are rumors about one sickness that's a little worse than the others. [SPEAKER_03]: A lot of people call it the growing hunger. [SPEAKER_03]: From what I've heard it described, it says if a- it says if an eternal avoid opens at the very center of your being.

[SPEAKER_03]: Which seeks to make itself whole again. [SPEAKER_03]: I fill in itself, and it manifests initially as outward hunger, but it eventually outstrips its host and begins to devour it painfully from the inside out. [SPEAKER_03]: As more and more of its host falls into that hole, the hole gets larger, requiring even more and even more.

[SPEAKER_03]: Eventually, host is left as a husk, [SPEAKER_03]: the intensity and pain of its hunger driving out any coherent thought or recollection. [SPEAKER_03]: Only the need to eat remains. [SPEAKER_00]: He's not there yet. [SPEAKER_00]: He has held onto his humanity for a really long time. [SPEAKER_00]: I think if there's anything at all we can try to do for him, we should try it.

[SPEAKER_03]: everybody loses eventually. [SPEAKER_03]: I ain't heard a case where somebody thought it off. [SPEAKER_03]: She looks at Maggie and or Maggie butts in and says, now, that don't mean there ain't no here. [SPEAKER_03]: I just mean people ain't been so lucky just yet. [SPEAKER_03]: It may exist and we don't know it.

[SPEAKER_03]: Means we got to do a little book learning. [SPEAKER_03]: A little bit of reading, a little bit of asking around and we might be able to come up with something. [SPEAKER_00]: Is there anything we can do to help? [SPEAKER_00]: You can always, if you find anything out, while your research, and you can always send us a message, we can go looking for something.

[SPEAKER_03]: See what we can do, but it might be a Maggie gestures to rat. [SPEAKER_03]: And says everything, everything that clings is clinging to something. [SPEAKER_03]: You just gotta find the rat leverage. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, long story short. [SPEAKER_00]: Brad was hired by Titus to stuff Los Angeles and a bag and hand them over.

[SPEAKER_00]: So as far as we know, both of them are bound for three in one way or another. [SPEAKER_00]: If we can get them both back, I think Los Angeles could maybe use some of our help untangle in some of these visions. [SPEAKER_00]: And Bradus could use some help with the hunger. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry, I feel like I keep coming home and giving y'all jobs.

[SPEAKER_03]: Well, Alice is, yes, good thing we like to work. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and those are the only, those are the only two jobs. [SPEAKER_00]: There's no other jobs. [SPEAKER_00]: Ain't that great? [SPEAKER_00]: And it's all of my kind of tries to cover the gun. [SPEAKER_00]: They're all from side.

[SPEAKER_00]: That's still glowing, great. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, but what about the shiny gun thing? [SPEAKER_00]: Thank you, Wyatt. [SPEAKER_00]: You're welcome. [SPEAKER_03]: What's, what's the boy talking about? [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, y'all got any idea what these are? [SPEAKER_00]: And I put the gun in front of them.

[SPEAKER_03]: You set the gun down on the table. [SPEAKER_03]: Wilda and Maggie both jump back from the table. [SPEAKER_04]: That's not a good sign. [SPEAKER_03]: Maggie's in shock, and Lila says, what is that? [SPEAKER_04]: It's the gun that killed that, East Jamison. [SPEAKER_04]: And a few other sense.

[SPEAKER_03]: Wilda looks at you. [SPEAKER_03]: you, you fetal her gaze. [SPEAKER_03]: She looks and sees the arcane symbols dance along the barrel. [SPEAKER_03]: Green, sickly. [SPEAKER_03]: Each symbol, feeling familiar and yet alien. [SPEAKER_03]: Like something you've tried to forget. [SPEAKER_03]: And she says, [SPEAKER_03]: That is some powerful magic.

[SPEAKER_03]: And it ain't the good kind. [SPEAKER_03]: How to get like this. [SPEAKER_00]: You know, good and well, how it got like that. [SPEAKER_03]: I need to hear it. [SPEAKER_00]: That is, a man standing guard outside of a pit the [SPEAKER_00]: Gamemaster of the pit itself, facts, how our covest of echo, and a spectator at the pit who had his back turned.

[SPEAKER_03]: She sighs and says, hate makes hate, and that's what this gun is. [SPEAKER_03]: That right there, she points at it, she says, that is hate. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, ma'am, it is. [SPEAKER_00]: What do you suggest I do with it? [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know what to do with it. [SPEAKER_03]: She said, I, I ain't never seen anything like that.

[SPEAKER_03]: I'm afraid that it's not you that's holding the gun. [SPEAKER_01]: Could I cast Legend lore on it? [SPEAKER_01]: Sure, because I can do an object. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, you, you see this gun's history. [SPEAKER_03]: It was meant to be ornamental in its forging. [SPEAKER_03]: More of a prize than a weapon.

[SPEAKER_03]: Something to be displayed, something to be proud of. [SPEAKER_03]: It is crafted. [SPEAKER_03]: These were not manufactured. [SPEAKER_03]: This was made. [SPEAKER_03]: And you think there might not be another like this in more ways than one. [SPEAKER_03]: And this gun sat for a long time, until one day it was used, and then it got used to being used.

[SPEAKER_03]: And sometimes, when an object is used with such powerful emotion behind it, [SPEAKER_03]: It creates a magic object where there was not one before. [SPEAKER_03]: This gun does something. [SPEAKER_03]: With legend lore, you do not know what that is. [SPEAKER_03]: But you get the sense that this gun likes to be used and likes to reward people who use it.

[SPEAKER_03]: It likes the feeling of hate in the heart of the one who pulls its trigger. [SPEAKER_01]: I relay that information to the people around us. [SPEAKER_00]: Selma is just turning red as you do. [SPEAKER_01]: So do I get the vibe that this gun was made prior to sad having it? [SPEAKER_01]: Or it was made for that and just said on that.

[SPEAKER_03]: It was made for that. [SPEAKER_01]: Made for that, okay. [SPEAKER_03]: This is a gun for the king of guns. [SPEAKER_00]: Look, y'all, I proud of this, and I ain't going to try and defend it, and there's not really any defense for it. [SPEAKER_00]: But three has just done nothing, but kill us this whole damn time.

[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm finding it a little bit difficult to just stuff this particular feeling down. [SPEAKER_00]: And I don't know that it's particularly advisable for me to keep carrying this damn thing when it is becoming easier to carry. [SPEAKER_03]: Solomon, you look down the gun as in your hand.

[SPEAKER_00]: Did you all see me pick that up? [SPEAKER_03]: Silence. [SPEAKER_00]: Pam, Hacks, do you think that you could take it? [SPEAKER_03]: I'll take it dear, Hark. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I don't want it to hurt you, though. [SPEAKER_03]: She... She holds out her hands. [SPEAKER_00]: No, no, no, no, no, no.

[SPEAKER_00]: I... Just give it here. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry. [SPEAKER_00]: No, no, no, no, no, no, no. [SPEAKER_00]: I wasn't thinking about it. [SPEAKER_00]: No, I don't want you to take it. [SPEAKER_03]: I want it. [SPEAKER_03]: Solomon, give it here. [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know what is going to do to you.

[SPEAKER_03]: No matter. [SPEAKER_00]: I have a spell that can remove. [SPEAKER_00]: No, it does. [SPEAKER_00]: I have a spell that can remove curses. [SPEAKER_00]: I just don't know if it's going to work if I cast it. [SPEAKER_00]: I try to cast remove curses on it. [SPEAKER_03]: The gun goes off. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh my god.

[SPEAKER_03]: It doesn't shoot anybody. [SPEAKER_03]: It goes off and blows a hole in the counter. [SPEAKER_00]: We'll pay for that. [SPEAKER_00]: Shit. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm so sorry. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm so sorry. [SPEAKER_00]: I didn't know that was going to happen. [SPEAKER_03]: Get it out of here. [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, no, no shit.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm trying. [SPEAKER_00]: Um... And Max, I can't let you take this. [SPEAKER_03]: Maggie, places are hand on the gun. [SPEAKER_00]: Do I get the ceiling that it could hurt her? [SPEAKER_03]: You don't know. [SPEAKER_03]: All you know is that this gun likes to hurt. [SPEAKER_03]: Whether or not it is capable, you don't know.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm back to the reason that I asked you to hold it was because that there is no one more than you who I think would never use the stamp thing. [SPEAKER_00]: And there's no one who I think could withstand whatever it is better than you. [SPEAKER_00]: But I couldn't live with myself if something happened to you because you were holding on to it.

[SPEAKER_00]: I have to I have to take it until I can figure out what to do with it. [SPEAKER_00]: And I promise you all as soon as I figure out what to do with it and as soon as I figure out how to make this go away, I will throw it into the river and I will never look back. [SPEAKER_03]: Maggie nods and says if you feel that's what's best I can't give it to you.

[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry I asked I can't I can't hand this damn thing to you I can't give you another mistake. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm on to worry about she For us or paralysis you can you stop it don't get out of here All right. [SPEAKER_00]: Look. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna put this away and I'll I just I'm [SPEAKER_00]: Hayden, why I need y'all to do me a favor, okay?

[SPEAKER_00]: Y'all can we travel in with me? [SPEAKER_00]: And the rest of you are going to be in twin river and we're going back to three. [SPEAKER_00]: And I just, I need the two of you to make sure that I don't use this gun. [SPEAKER_04]: We did it for Starm. [SPEAKER_04]: We'll do it for you. [SPEAKER_04]: We'll keep you safe.

[SPEAKER_04]: Thank you, dear heart. [SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry, I will hold onto this [SPEAKER_00]: And my accent, well, I maybe, this is the three of us can have a little bit of a less public conversation about this before I head off to three, but in the meantime, I can assure you that I will try my best not to use it anymore.

[SPEAKER_03]: Violin odds, this has good. [SPEAKER_03]: I think using it's only going to encourage it. [SPEAKER_03]: I think maybe you got to let it simmer. [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, ma'am. [SPEAKER_00]: Arn would've been great though. [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, that's good. [SPEAKER_03]: That's good. [SPEAKER_03]: Glad for that, Youngen.

[SPEAKER_00]: Alright, so y'all don't hate me now, or... [SPEAKER_00]: I wouldn't hate you. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, you're asking you, oh, it's red. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I mean, you already know what I did. [SPEAKER_04]: This is lo and past us. [SPEAKER_03]: Maggie says, I never hated you. [SPEAKER_03]: And Lyla says, yeah, I ain't about to start now.

[SPEAKER_00]: Great. [SPEAKER_00]: Okay. [SPEAKER_00]: Well, that was the thing I was really worried about. [SPEAKER_00]: That and the van person thing, uh, why, hey, do you think that got the attention off the window? [SPEAKER_01]: Why would they stop thinking about Belinda? [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, oh. [SPEAKER_01]: Right.

[SPEAKER_00]: Is there anything else we need to talk about? [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, Belinda. [SPEAKER_00]: No. [SPEAKER_00]: No. [SPEAKER_00]: you know what all right and about me speaking to these sad boys one of them Why now that we got a chance to rest? [SPEAKER_00]: I know that you know how to scribe are you able to scribe on on last handers to see what might be happening to him?

[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, I can try you cast it. [SPEAKER_01]: I cast scribe on last [SPEAKER_03]: You see a room, large, beautifully made bed. [SPEAKER_03]: Lysander sits at its edge. [SPEAKER_03]: A large, easel stands in the corner, tarps spread out beneath it. [SPEAKER_03]: The canvas is untouched.

[SPEAKER_03]: The paints unopened. [SPEAKER_03]: And you see that Lysander is not alone. [SPEAKER_03]: speaking to him. [SPEAKER_03]: He's midway conversation when you jump in, he says, is close at hand, dear brother. [SPEAKER_03]: You will finally live up to the James' name, leading the family company was always a possibility for you.

[SPEAKER_03]: You must understand. [SPEAKER_03]: With Thadius' unfortunate passing at the hands of that murderous viperess of a wife he took, the responsibility falls to you now. [SPEAKER_03]: Solamaze not why Sander stops. [SPEAKER_03]: Not what. [SPEAKER_03]: Don't mumble, theodosius. [SPEAKER_03]: Licender cringes.

[SPEAKER_03]: Come to think of it, she was there when I picked you up, that witch. [SPEAKER_03]: You were not colluding with her were you? [SPEAKER_03]: If word got out that you were aiding a wanted fugitive, particularly one that murdered our brother, he stops. [SPEAKER_03]: Regains composure. [SPEAKER_03]: You wouldn't want that to destroy your family's reputation, would you?

[SPEAKER_03]: What, dear old dad worked so hard to build? [SPEAKER_03]: Hmm, and you can forget about Typerius's career, all that good he's done for three. [SPEAKER_03]: You see, boy, you can run as far as you like, run all the way to hell if you must. [SPEAKER_03]: But your family will always be here, and your obligation to us cannot be outrun.

[SPEAKER_03]: Licander is frozen, staring at the ground. [SPEAKER_03]: Titus' face softens, he sighs then sits beside Licander, I do not tell you these things to scare you. [SPEAKER_03]: I say them because there are people in this world, you cannot trust. [SPEAKER_03]: People who will wait for the right opportunity and hurt you deeply.

[SPEAKER_03]: That is was married for 10 years after all. [SPEAKER_03]: You cannot just trust anyone, but you can trust family. [SPEAKER_03]: Our family is skin-deep, we carry our name wherever we go, and we carry it proudly, and it is now your chance to carry it. [SPEAKER_03]: He holds out two items.

[SPEAKER_03]: One is a necklace, the Jameson family crest dangles from its center. [SPEAKER_03]: Why Sandor looks at them, then it tightens, then nods, taking them. [SPEAKER_03]: He pauses, and then places the ring on his finger, and then the necklace around his neck, and as he puts on the necklace the sky spell, fizzles.

[SPEAKER_03]: Your time in the spell was not up, but it fades. [SPEAKER_03]: And that is where we'll pick up next time.
