[UNKNOWN]: Hello, and welcome back to another episode of Mage Hand High Five. [UNKNOWN]: I'm your dungeon master, Casey Papas, and with me, ranked least to most likely to sneak into a party uninvited. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, we need the people for this ranking. [UNKNOWN]: Let me listen. [UNKNOWN]: Let me tell you you're all pretty far down there.
[UNKNOWN]: Yeah All of these rankings are amongst you. [UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: Yes, sure. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, that's true. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, amongst all people you're all like in the bottom like 10% of people who would sneak into parties specific party in mind like type of party like a we call talking like the met or like my neighborhood party I think a party that each of you would [UNKNOWN]: think worthy of sneaking into.
[UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: Makes sense to me. [UNKNOWN]: I don't know why y'all are like, Robin's like, yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And y'all are like, everyone's like, I don't want to attend any party. [UNKNOWN]: Literally. [UNKNOWN]: And guess what? [UNKNOWN]: That's why first up, Roan next day.
[UNKNOWN]: If I'm not invited what business do I have showing up? [UNKNOWN]: If I am invited, what business do I have showing up? [UNKNOWN]: You don't need me at one of those. [UNKNOWN]: I don't need me at one of those. [UNKNOWN]: I'll see you in a one on one setting. [UNKNOWN]: Next. [UNKNOWN]: Max Weinberg.
[UNKNOWN]: Hello, it is me, Max Wendberg playing Wyatt 4-Sythe, yet really depends on the party. [UNKNOWN]: Wyatt would never sneak into a party. [UNKNOWN]: Why it doesn't know what parties are. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, he's been to a church party, excuse me. [UNKNOWN]: Ooh. [UNKNOWN]: Wow. [UNKNOWN]: Did they do like Cry Knight at the church party?
[UNKNOWN]: Oh, maybe. [UNKNOWN]: I don't know what that is. [UNKNOWN]: Cry Knight. [UNKNOWN]: Ah. [UNKNOWN]: We can't go into this place. [UNKNOWN]: We can't go into the Cry Knight. [UNKNOWN]: We can't go into the Cry Knight. [UNKNOWN]: We can't go into the Cry Knight. [UNKNOWN]: We can't go into the Cry Knight.
[UNKNOWN]: We can't go into the Cry Knight. [UNKNOWN]: We can't go into the Cry Knight. [UNKNOWN]: We can't go into the Cry Knight. [UNKNOWN]: We can't go into the Cry Knight. [UNKNOWN]: We can't go into the Cry Knight. [UNKNOWN]: Last, Robin Langenhub. [UNKNOWN]: Hi, I'm Robin Langenhub, Langenhub, Langenhub, Langenhub, Langenhub, Langenhub, Langenhub, Langenhub, Langenhub, Langenhub, Langenhub, Langenhub, Langenhub, Langenhub, Langenhub, Langenhub, Langenhub, Langenhub, Langenhub, Langenhub, Langenhub, Langenhub, Langenhub, Langenhub, Langenhub, Langenhub, Langenhub, Langenhub, Langenhub, Langenhub, Langenhub, Langenhub, Langenhub, Langenhub, Langenhub, Langenhub, Langenhub, Langenhub, Langenhub, Langenhub, Langenhub, Langenh
[UNKNOWN]: full of like really cool famous people that I want to be around. [UNKNOWN]: But I know I can't get caught. [UNKNOWN]: So I don't have to be social. [UNKNOWN]: Like that's a different vibe. [UNKNOWN]: We're just like I'm just a spy to just just like observe cool people versus like I need to walk into social situations with strangers.
[UNKNOWN]: That's a whole different vibe and I could be down for that. [UNKNOWN]: The idea you would sneak into a party just to like, I don't know, watch Tom Hanks or someone like that is kind of also weird. [UNKNOWN]: Oh no, Tom Hanks is a close friend of the family. [UNKNOWN]: That's not a, that's not a thing.
[UNKNOWN]: Try again, Max. [UNKNOWN]: With that. [UNKNOWN]: Let's dive. [UNKNOWN]: Right in. [UNKNOWN]: Last time on Mage Hand High Five. [UNKNOWN]: You continue your check-in with twin river. [UNKNOWN]: After consulting with shift on future plans for the war effort, you picked up your long-awaited items from Clovis, a custom suit of bastion armor for Solomon, and a staff of the Living Storm for Hayden.
[UNKNOWN]: You proceeded then to gather all of your people for a meeting at the big bun. [UNKNOWN]: From there, the great hatching out of differences and histories began. [UNKNOWN]: First, with the briars and the fate spun players, then with Winona and Rat. [UNKNOWN]: Solemea revealed her gun had become a cursed item, but decided against giving it away.
[UNKNOWN]: When we last left off, Wyatt had attempted to describe on Lysander, only to find that Titus was preparing him to take control of the Jamison Company, where you are now. [UNKNOWN]: You are [UNKNOWN]: at the continental breakfast, at the traveler's respite. [UNKNOWN]: Wow, back where we belong, huh?
[UNKNOWN]: Feels a little like home, doesn't it? [UNKNOWN]: It does. [UNKNOWN]: The morning light streams through the windows, dust particles float lazily on a wear of whatever troubles are happening elsewhere. [UNKNOWN]: It's perhaps been about a month or so since you've been here last, which was a riotous breakfast [UNKNOWN]: But today is peaceful, perhaps in protest of the things to come, of the coming road to three.
[UNKNOWN]: Where are your thoughts this morning? [UNKNOWN]: Each of you. [UNKNOWN]: I hate and made a deal with Solomon Wyatt that they would only drink one cup of coffee this morning. [UNKNOWN]: and is delighted to see the looks on their faces as they approach with a gargantuan novelty mug from the big bun.
[UNKNOWN]: The worst. [UNKNOWN]: The holds an entire pot of coffee. [UNKNOWN]: Mm. [UNKNOWN]: Mm. [UNKNOWN]: Mm. [UNKNOWN]: All right. [UNKNOWN]: I have a purify food and drink anymore. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, I do. [UNKNOWN]: But I'm not going to use it. [UNKNOWN]: I'm going to let it learn their lesson. [UNKNOWN]: What would purify food and drink do to coffee?
[UNKNOWN]: Would it just make it more delicious? [UNKNOWN]: You can't. [UNKNOWN]: No. [UNKNOWN]: Oh. [UNKNOWN]: I mean, it's over to Wyatt and goes, right, so here's what's going to happen. [UNKNOWN]: They're going to get through about half of that and then they're going to use a bathroom for about 20 minutes.
[UNKNOWN]: And then they're hopefully going to have learned something. [UNKNOWN]: No, lot, lot to help me make this myself. [UNKNOWN]: It's with special beans. [UNKNOWN]: What? [UNKNOWN]: Can't lie, made that with special beans. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, no one might allow us. [UNKNOWN]: She's trying to teach you something too.
[UNKNOWN]: So somewhere ant-licen occurs. [UNKNOWN]: Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha [UNKNOWN]: and I think as they're getting ready to leave for three, I think she's sort of stealing herself for a potentially difficult goodbye from them.
[UNKNOWN]: Why it? [UNKNOWN]: I think was up really late. [UNKNOWN]: Last night thinking about having to see his dad against sooner that that day keeps getting closer and closer and we don't [UNKNOWN]: It's sort of in your thoughts about family, about what this place means to you, and perhaps the thought crosses your mind that this may be one of the last times that you have breakfast here at the continental breakfast of the traveler's respite.
[UNKNOWN]: What's a continental breakfast? [UNKNOWN]: Oh honey, you're looking at it, kid. [UNKNOWN]: What? [UNKNOWN]: So, you know how for you food just always at least feels free if not is literally free? [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, food is in this case, the food is free because it's bad. [UNKNOWN]: Why would you want that when you can have good free food?
[UNKNOWN]: Because the rest of us who ought you can't Says someone from the corner goes hell yeah This guy knows what I'm talking about Hold on man. [UNKNOWN]: Okay to teach economic inequality to why it. [UNKNOWN]: I feel like this has been a long time coming. [UNKNOWN]: No [UNKNOWN]: No. [UNKNOWN]: I don't know that there will ever be a day where I'm equipped to teach why it that particular lesson.
[UNKNOWN]: If you want, we can, the last time I was here before the battle, I ate it this really great Elvis Restaurant. [UNKNOWN]: If we wanted to go back, you mean La Pao Shao? [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, La Pao, oh yeah, yeah, La Pao Shao. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, hey, Daniel, I'll back there. [UNKNOWN]: It's true. [UNKNOWN]: Why?
[UNKNOWN]: What did you do? [UNKNOWN]: What did you do? [UNKNOWN]: Again, you know how you have money and other people don't have money? [UNKNOWN]: I went to dinner there and did not have money. [UNKNOWN]: And I left without paying for the dinner. [UNKNOWN]: I don't know why I thought that we did, but yeah, he just had us do a little din and dash.
[UNKNOWN]: From over your shoulder, you're here. [UNKNOWN]: I'm going to pretend I didn't hear that. [UNKNOWN]: You look, and standing at the table, gently with a little wrap on the table, is Callista Shift, financier and leader of Twin River, standing there along with two guards. [UNKNOWN]: Well, as I live in breathe, never see outside your office, least of all at this continental breakfast is fine.
[UNKNOWN]: More than how are I, director ship? [UNKNOWN]: Uh, you know, this food should be illegal. [UNKNOWN]: It's a... [UNKNOWN]: What? [UNKNOWN]: What? [UNKNOWN]: It is a morning of trying new things. [UNKNOWN]: And so I am stepping outside the office. [UNKNOWN]: I am walking the streets of Twin River and... Well, listening.
[UNKNOWN]: What are you here? [UNKNOWN]: Anxiety. [UNKNOWN]: A little bit of anticipation. [UNKNOWN]: But that is not what I came to talk about today. [UNKNOWN]: actually came to talk about two pieces of news I wanted to deliver in person. [UNKNOWN]: They're not bad news. [UNKNOWN]: He's all in my head as already stealed herself for bad news.
[UNKNOWN]: It's a serious shame to give him deliver news in person. [UNKNOWN]: Shift catches. [UNKNOWN]: Shift catches. [UNKNOWN]: Or the blood is draining for my face as she says bad news. [UNKNOWN]: And Shift says, no, no, it's not bad news. [UNKNOWN]: Though that does not stain their importance. [UNKNOWN]: I've gathered those who will be joining you on the road out of Twin River.
[UNKNOWN]: I have a small group that will make their way with you, stopping short in Red Rock. [UNKNOWN]: They will camp there and await further instruction, depending on how successfully you are able to infiltrate this masquerade and coerce Jamison to back down. [UNKNOWN]: Who are we talking? [UNKNOWN]: Well, I a certain section of our forces in twin river, a master-light feather has been so gracious as to offer a squadron of his, I believe he calls them slots and matons.
[UNKNOWN]: Oh, yeah, those can get pretty nasty. [UNKNOWN]: That will be coming with as well, which all of this brings me to my first point. [UNKNOWN]: In order for you to make the masquerade, [UNKNOWN]: You will need to leave Twin River with this group the day after tomorrow. [UNKNOWN]: Yes, ma'am. [UNKNOWN]: Oh.
[UNKNOWN]: Be sure you have everything you will need as we will be able to provide limited assistance after that time. [UNKNOWN]: Are we running on horseback? [UNKNOWN]: How are we getting there? [UNKNOWN]: Another train still down? [UNKNOWN]: Well, I believe there are three. [UNKNOWN]: horses, well, two horses and one pony that are sort of eternally rented out to you.
[UNKNOWN]: I've come to understand from a couple notes that were left for me. [UNKNOWN]: For the sake of a sweet little white here, is that any chance we could trade the pony in for a full horse, that can be a range. [UNKNOWN]: I believe Bronco is a little tired out as is. [UNKNOWN]: So we can arrange.
[UNKNOWN]: We can arrange it on the other horse. [UNKNOWN]: We don't have a cloud scale, but oh, you don't. [UNKNOWN]: Well, not, I mean, we would have to wrestle what we are so into the weeds on the points that I, let's, why don't we return to the top again. [UNKNOWN]: Let's get to both point two of my own.
[UNKNOWN]: Well, if we must, what I was going to say is that I will be remaining behind. [UNKNOWN]: to ensure twin river and black Thorne Hollow maintain fire powder production. [UNKNOWN]: And so, in two days' time, I will be bidding you farewell, hopefully not for the last time. [UNKNOWN]: Ah, in relation to this first point, I have a question specifically for you, Wyatt.
[UNKNOWN]: Oh, this may be difficult, but I must be sure. [UNKNOWN]: and returning to your home in threed, will you continue to prioritize aid to the badlands? [UNKNOWN]: Home, yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Of course. [UNKNOWN]: Do I have your word? [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Why wouldn't I? [UNKNOWN]: It would not be understandable if your ties to threed made your situation [UNKNOWN]: Oh, well, I mean, yeah, it's going to be really complicated, but I'll do it again.
[UNKNOWN]: Why, Darlin, if you change your mind, I guess I have, hey, Nassim, maybe you have, too. [UNKNOWN]: I think we both... [UNKNOWN]: been preparing ourselves for the possibility that you might be confronted with some difficult choices and it would be forgivable and understandable for you to make whatever choice you make but if you do change your mind just please I guess we would ask you not to get in the way yes you don't have to do anything you don't want to do but if you can just let us do what needs to be done but we we do [UNKNOWN]: We want to be realistic about the fact that you got family there that you want to take care of as well.
[UNKNOWN]: I mean, I'll do my best. [UNKNOWN]: You know, I have no intention of portraying the badlands, but Do you know I Right now, I have no intention of portraying the badlands. [UNKNOWN]: You have my word. [UNKNOWN]: Shift nods. [UNKNOWN]: We believe you, darling. [UNKNOWN]: Do you believe your man clive to have your interest or your family's interest at heart?
[UNKNOWN]: Um, that one's a little harder because he gets paid to care about my family. [UNKNOWN]: So... [UNKNOWN]: I honestly don't know. [UNKNOWN]: I don't know him kind of socially. [UNKNOWN]: He's always kind of been a caretaker. [UNKNOWN]: So why it? [UNKNOWN]: I don't really know. [UNKNOWN]: If you would like to roll a history check with a damage, you may.
[UNKNOWN]: What about insight? [UNKNOWN]: Oh, you know what? [UNKNOWN]: I'll take it side. [UNKNOWN]: I'll take it. [UNKNOWN]: There is a 10 difference between those two numbers. [UNKNOWN]: Roll insight with a damage. [UNKNOWN]: It's a 21. [UNKNOWN]: with a 21. [UNKNOWN]: Why it? [UNKNOWN]: You know Clive better than you know your father.
[UNKNOWN]: One of these two men has always been there to pick you up from school. [UNKNOWN]: And one of these two men, when it comes down to it, has bent the rules once or twice to make sure that you were more comfortable. [UNKNOWN]: And I'll give you a hint. [UNKNOWN]: It's not your dad. [UNKNOWN]: It's pretty good.
[UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, I think, I mean, I've never really talked to him about that. [UNKNOWN]: But he's gone against my dad said to do a few times. [UNKNOWN]: So maybe I knew him for a very, very brief amount of time. [UNKNOWN]: But my first estimation of him is that [UNKNOWN]: You could tell it's important for Wyatt, stronger than just about anything.
[UNKNOWN]: Good. [UNKNOWN]: Then I will let you know that I have spoken with Cordran, and upon your approval, Clive will be released from custody. [UNKNOWN]: What? [UNKNOWN]: Mr. Katra has requested to join you on your journey. [UNKNOWN]: And if you believe his allegiance lies with you and not with three, then we will grant him his request.
[UNKNOWN]: I'm sorry, released, at last we checked we left him in echo and he was just trying to make his mind up. [UNKNOWN]: He was under Cordrin's custody. [UNKNOWN]: What? [UNKNOWN]: But we custody for what? [UNKNOWN]: This is news. [UNKNOWN]: Well, he was, I'm sorry. [UNKNOWN]: He was in a group of individuals that were attempting to overthrow echo.
[UNKNOWN]: Well, that is fair. [UNKNOWN]: I mean, weren't all the important in our life? [UNKNOWN]: No, why it, we weren't. [UNKNOWN]: But yeah, no, that made that make sense. [UNKNOWN]: And make sense. [UNKNOWN]: Ha ha ha. [UNKNOWN]: All that to say. [UNKNOWN]: As for tomorrow, your last full day in Twin River.
[UNKNOWN]: Well, that brings me to my second point. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, we're just now getting to the second point. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, I thought, I thought I was the second point. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, no, I know. [UNKNOWN]: No, that was in response to the first point. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, OK. [UNKNOWN]: Her mouth curves upwards slightly.
[UNKNOWN]: A rare smile from shift. [UNKNOWN]: Well, I wanted to be the one to let you know that I have taken a page from your book. [UNKNOWN]: The people of Twin River need a morale boost now more than ever, and I suspect you may as well. [UNKNOWN]: And so I have issued an emergency order. [UNKNOWN]: Tomorrow, for the first time in several months, we will be hosting a tournament of Twin [UNKNOWN]: bombardment.
[UNKNOWN]: Is it manland.com? [UNKNOWN]: Though I've heard various other names for it, including dodge ball, duck ball, dip ball, dive ball, and... Don't shake me, Casey. [UNKNOWN]: There's another one, but it escapes me. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, um, do we get to play? [UNKNOWN]: Do I have to? [UNKNOWN]: The...
[UNKNOWN]: Why it does seem like a kid who just got being to buy Dodge Balls in PE. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, they picked me last. [UNKNOWN]: You weren't never getting picked last again, kid. [UNKNOWN]: You are picked first on Album Bardmute team. [UNKNOWN]: And you weren't, no, you weren't going to kick some ass.
[UNKNOWN]: You understand me? [UNKNOWN]: Look at me. [UNKNOWN]: Hey, look me in the face. [UNKNOWN]: Why? [UNKNOWN]: No, look. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, okay, I'm here. [UNKNOWN]: I'm looking. [UNKNOWN]: I'm looking. [UNKNOWN]: You? [UNKNOWN]: you are going to be on our team and our team is going to dominate this damn dodgeball tournament you understand me?
[UNKNOWN]: Why it picks up a muffin and tries to throw it but it kind of goes just at like a 45 degree angle from where he tried to throw it. [UNKNOWN]: And we will practice and we will get you to where you need to base on our at. [UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: So like the crash of a window breaking in the background.
[UNKNOWN]: There's somebody outside who gets beamed by the brand muffin. [UNKNOWN]: No! [UNKNOWN]: No! [UNKNOWN]: A brand muffin! [UNKNOWN]: Oh God! [UNKNOWN]: Well, the tournament begins at 9 a.m. tomorrow morning. [UNKNOWN]: In the city square, teams of three. [UNKNOWN]: I trust all three of you will be able to make it.
[UNKNOWN]: Town heroes that you are. [UNKNOWN]: And she starts to leave and then she says, Oh and one more thing. [UNKNOWN]: To make things interesting, all non-harmful magic is allowed. [UNKNOWN]: Ah, please. [UNKNOWN]: Cuts down it. [UNKNOWN]: Don't make me regret that. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, all righty, so not so right.
[UNKNOWN]: So we can't feed each other up a little bit. [UNKNOWN]: You, you, you cannot maim, but you can't entangle. [UNKNOWN]: Yes, ma'am. [UNKNOWN]: And then she turns. [UNKNOWN]: And then she turns. [UNKNOWN]: and she exits. [UNKNOWN]: Why plays the harmonica, she leaves. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, y'all, I can't wait.
[UNKNOWN]: All right, all right, I know I'm at a promise, but if we need to be fired up and ready for this game, can I have another cup of coffee? [UNKNOWN]: It's tomorrow. [UNKNOWN]: Also, you have a picture of coffee. [UNKNOWN]: Hey, no, no. [UNKNOWN]: Are we sure? [UNKNOWN]: It's been about 20 minutes.
[UNKNOWN]: Hayden, you start to feel something happening. [UNKNOWN]: Make a concert. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: And make a concert. [UNKNOWN]: I've got that last coffee cake in the run now. [UNKNOWN]: 16 16 you're holding it I'm holding it he uses recipe to get my mom off the stuff a long time ago and it was effective you're holding it for now what's happening to me you feel a small tree growing inside you I don't have less restoration prep so I can't help and or do I great you have until tomorrow [UNKNOWN]: Is there anything you would like to do in the meantime?
[UNKNOWN]: Oh, uh, I don't know what's on y'all's list, but um, in my mind, I know we got to pick up the masks from Clovis, but it seems like he's going to need a little time to work on that. [UNKNOWN]: Uh, I would like to still speak with Dr. Bangcroft about facts is, whist, it is a current to me, however that I might be the only one that can see it, so I don't know how much he's going be able to do with it.
[UNKNOWN]: Can you mind meld with her? [UNKNOWN]: Like you did to me? [UNKNOWN]: That sounds [UNKNOWN]: certainly try. [UNKNOWN]: I wanted to check in with my answer at some point before we go and I wonder if Earl from USPS is okay? [UNKNOWN]: I have seen kind of weird last time we talked to him. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, we should we should go find Clive.
[UNKNOWN]: Maybe he can take us to La Poncha for real this time. [UNKNOWN]: You think Clive's just gonna take us out to a nice lunch at the most expensive restaurant in town? [UNKNOWN]: It seems like a little bit of a stretch. [UNKNOWN]: Look, the most expensive restaurant in town here is not that expensive, Hayden.
[UNKNOWN]: I'm sorry to tell you. [UNKNOWN]: Hayden's like, Clive, taking us out to dinner? [UNKNOWN]: Oh, hey, Hayden, Hayden, Hayden, come here. [UNKNOWN]: Come here, come here, come here, come here, come here. [UNKNOWN]: Look at me, look at me, look at me, look at me, look at me, look at me, look at me, look at me, look at me, look at me, look at me, look at me, look at me, look at me, look at me.
[UNKNOWN]: Oh, yes. [UNKNOWN]: Clav might be I kind of like shield why it from that's a little bit. [UNKNOWN]: Oh Clav might be the only Consistence stable adult in why it's live and he's coming with us to 3d and I need you to be regular about that you understand me Two points right point number one right.
[UNKNOWN]: I don't know what regular is point number two I could be dead in a week [UNKNOWN]: What is point number two has to do with one number one? [UNKNOWN]: But let things play out that hate me hate me listen to me if you hate dead new week forget what I said Number two, you better find out real damn quickly what regular mates Who who put me to the person who could teach me what regulates?
[UNKNOWN]: Of all the people we know and have met Is anybody like this card for clovers? [UNKNOWN]: Clovis seems regular or at Clovis seems regular and he's a little flirty, but it'll regular way. [UNKNOWN]: Okay, so I'm going to pick up a mask and outfit and I'm going to ask Clovis what regulates what it means to be, you know what director shift also knows how to be regular or at why our be regular like shift is regular that's boring.
[UNKNOWN]: You know, oh, you know what, you know, who knows how to be regular and mags and mags is great at being regular. [UNKNOWN]: Ooh, I can do that at mags. [UNKNOWN]: Right, right, right, right, right. [UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: Anyway, uh, why are I coming back in here? [UNKNOWN]: Listen, where are we going?
[UNKNOWN]: Where are we going to go first? [UNKNOWN]: Here's the thing for me. [UNKNOWN]: I, I have plenty. [UNKNOWN]: I want to talk through with my people. [UNKNOWN]: I feel like Riot could be very helpful in just giving us a low down of what we're walking into with the focus in dominant and all them church beddies.
[UNKNOWN]: But Bitties? [UNKNOWN]: They made it sound like, I don't know, maybe there's a lady's auxiliary that's just up to crimes. [UNKNOWN]: But... And Thaddius! [UNKNOWN]: Oh, no! [UNKNOWN]: You mean... S-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s-s- [UNKNOWN]: You mean the nuns?
[UNKNOWN]: Yeah, and the nuns are the words. [UNKNOWN]: The nuns of the church. [UNKNOWN]: And Fatty is trying to send the killed the pontiff. [UNKNOWN]: OK, all right. [UNKNOWN]: Any other thing that Fatty is in their sewing group? [UNKNOWN]: What can we say? [UNKNOWN]: He just loves bridge. [UNKNOWN]: Oz, I couldn't get him to take a single interest in any of my hobbies, but he likes bridge.
[UNKNOWN]: He really supports their choir. [UNKNOWN]: Okay, if everybody's, if everybody's sticking with their, I'm never going to leave you again, which I really hope they do because I have a whole complex about it, then we don't know where about that right now. [UNKNOWN]: So let's, let's deal with your very extensive list because I think the mind's just going to take care of itself.
[UNKNOWN]: Right. [UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Well, no way and how my answer coming, but we'll talk about that later. [UNKNOWN]: So I think first thing, bankraft, that feels like something we got to do, right? [UNKNOWN]: That seems the most pressing. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Sure.
[UNKNOWN]: All right. [UNKNOWN]: Let's go talk to bankraft. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, let's talk to Bancroftle, Roy. [UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: You had to Bancroftle room. [UNKNOWN]: She is still in the traveler's respite. [UNKNOWN]: All right. [UNKNOWN]: Um, knock, knock, knock, knock. [UNKNOWN]: Come, talk to Bancroftle.
[UNKNOWN]: You hear, it's open. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, um, hey, um, we have some bad news. [UNKNOWN]: You walk in. [UNKNOWN]: Dr. Bancroft is sitting behind her desk. [UNKNOWN]: The papers are everywhere, including the floor. [UNKNOWN]: There is an open bottle of whiskey and a cup. [UNKNOWN]: And she says, bad news, is it?
[UNKNOWN]: Yeah, I'm having a pot of a one. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, it's a little bit of a retirement party. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, what, why? [UNKNOWN]: Well, [UNKNOWN]: I received word that the University of Echo was downsizing due to a sudden halt in payments from its benefactor, and that they were no longer to retain nonessential staff.
[UNKNOWN]: Yeah, that's part one of the bad news. [UNKNOWN]: We might have murdered your been a factor, but he was a giant monster in fairness She she takes a drink. [UNKNOWN]: He killed me. [UNKNOWN]: He did he did actually kill what? [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, he kidnapped several of my family members for an extended period of time, and we're touching them, torturing them on an ongoing basis.
[UNKNOWN]: She knows. [UNKNOWN]: She knows. [UNKNOWN]: She knows. [UNKNOWN]: She knows. [UNKNOWN]: She knows. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, yeah. [UNKNOWN]: I don't assume you didn't have your reasons. [UNKNOWN]: She takes another drink. [UNKNOWN]: Right. [UNKNOWN]: Well, we are also in good with the current Governor of Echo, so we might be able to try to get some of that funding back up and run, and especially seeing as this door business seems to be increasingly relevant, and I happen to have an extensive cash of faxes memories.
[UNKNOWN]: She pauses mid drink and just sort of sits with that for a second. [UNKNOWN]: What [UNKNOWN]: Um, hold on, she rubbed her face, whiffs. [UNKNOWN]: I read an academic study on it a while back, published by some lady. [UNKNOWN]: I, uh, a doctor, doctor, more of them. [UNKNOWN]: More, oh, I think it might have been it.
[UNKNOWN]: I thought, uh, yeah, she kept my family underground and tortured them for extensive periods of time. [UNKNOWN]: Anyway, uh, hold on one second, and I put a hand on her shoulder and cast lay on hands to stop her from being drunk. [UNKNOWN]: She's overs up, but she goes, hey, oh, you can get back to it.
[UNKNOWN]: You have a bottle left. [UNKNOWN]: What do you know about whispers? [UNKNOWN]: She holds her forehead from being suddenly brought to sober. [UNKNOWN]: And it's got the bends. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, it's like a hangover happens in the span of like 10 seconds. [UNKNOWN]: And she goes, ooh. [UNKNOWN]: Okay, um, sorry.
[UNKNOWN]: What was that? [UNKNOWN]: Uh, whizps. [UNKNOWN]: I happen to have faxes, which includes most of his memories, although they are quite difficult to sift through. [UNKNOWN]: So, oh, well, I mean, if this academic paper was was anything to be believed, then uh, there was [UNKNOWN]: a catalog of deeds that the person had experienced in life, it was a well-spring of power, was what this article called it, sort of through which anything might be possible if people wonder if that might be where magical influences and abilities sort of come from and emanate.
[UNKNOWN]: uh... there's a lot there uh... it went a little bit over my head it's not quite my field of study mm-hmm but uh... it was interesting at least and i made me it gave me pauses to weather there was any sort of intersection with the doors but uh... you say you have one yeah hidden as she starts talking about more abundant you see the gun glowing a little bit mm-hmm [UNKNOWN]: and saw my says yeah well we have a access to faxes and he said that you finish the translation and he's read the book so between those two things we might be able to get a little bit more information and for what it's worth I would not take Dr.
[UNKNOWN]: Well, I don't know a whole lot about that. [UNKNOWN]: I just know what I read in the paper. [UNKNOWN]: If you have this, whist, well, let's see it. [UNKNOWN]: That's kind of a problem. [UNKNOWN]: I don't know that you can see it. [UNKNOWN]: I try to take it out and show it to her, can she?
[UNKNOWN]: You take it out and show her to empty hands. [UNKNOWN]: Great, all right. [UNKNOWN]: And she's looks and goes, okay. [UNKNOWN]: All right, hey, I think it might be easier for me to show you. [UNKNOWN]: I think we might have a little bit of a hard time sifting through facts as memories all by our lonesome.
[UNKNOWN]: So the idea that I'm kind of having right now is that all four of us try to hop on in there together and then maybe we see if we can kind of figure it out and parse through it together and maybe none of us has to go crazy. [UNKNOWN]: Maybe we all just go a little bit crazy. [UNKNOWN]: bankruptcy's okay I don't know what we're doing but sure right take my hand widget she takes it gingerly that little cobbled hand [UNKNOWN]: I guess it, just kidding.
[UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: All right, hold on, hold on. [UNKNOWN]: All right, everybody hold hands. [UNKNOWN]: Grab it, Hines? [UNKNOWN]: If I may, I would like to try to dive all of us into Facts' specifically memories of the Book of Rotor, and to see if we can give Bankraft access to some of that information.
[UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: Let's do charisma saving through and everyone do it with a plus five because you are close to me Wow, oh sick dirty 20. [UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: I rolled a six. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, I got a 10 oh 27 for Wyatt great as you all join hands Solomey you Clear your mind [UNKNOWN]: And as you do, the world begins to gray around all four of you.
[UNKNOWN]: Facts as wisp, a full diamond appears between the four of you. [UNKNOWN]: And you all are sort of sucked into it. [UNKNOWN]: Memories flash by. [UNKNOWN]: All of these memories are crystal clear and more than that because facts had 11 eyes, each memory is from 11 different directions. [UNKNOWN]: And so every memory being compounded 11 times over on top of a lifespan of hundreds of years of perfect recall is staggering.
[UNKNOWN]: the amount of images that flash before your eyes is painful, even the people who save get a headache. [UNKNOWN]: Hayden, you take 14 points of psychic damage. [UNKNOWN]: Me, as the images are a little too much for you, and it feels like your brain is beginning to fold in on itself. [UNKNOWN]: from everything that you're seeing, it is painful.
[UNKNOWN]: However, [UNKNOWN]: images of a book, a leather bound tone flash by page after page after page, each written in a language that is completely alien to you. [UNKNOWN]: You see occasionally diagrams, you see one of an amulet, you see one of a door, you see one of a vast wall of [UNKNOWN]: You don't even know what it is.
[UNKNOWN]: It seems to the wall seems to speak. [UNKNOWN]: There is a large circular stone, and on top of it is a symbol that you have seen before, the symbol of the three. [UNKNOWN]: And these images flash by almost impossible to take in. [UNKNOWN]: One at a time. [UNKNOWN]: And you see the book of rota.
[UNKNOWN]: Doctor Bancroft, do you have a way to read it? [UNKNOWN]: She is sort of just dumbfounded. [UNKNOWN]: She says, I need a pen and paper now. [UNKNOWN]: All right, uh, is can we give her one? [UNKNOWN]: You are in memories. [UNKNOWN]: You are not people. [UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: You are within the dreams of another.
[UNKNOWN]: You don't have your things. [UNKNOWN]: You are not physical beings. [UNKNOWN]: You are, you are orbs in the mind of another person. [UNKNOWN]: She says, I, there is, there's a lot, um, he is, he is, okay, hold on, I need to, do you see anything about, uh, wrote a, referring to a user? [UNKNOWN]: Facts said that the first person to discover wrote it would be, uh, a user, which felt like an odd turn of phrase, do you have any idea who wrote a mat B?
[UNKNOWN]: Yes, it says, wrote a, wrote a sleeps now is sleeping and the person who can wake him up will be his new user. [UNKNOWN]: You have any idea what that means. [UNKNOWN]: She thinks about it. [UNKNOWN]: She says, I think that might be backwards. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, the tense is wrong. [UNKNOWN]: The, um, normally in languages like this, the, um, [UNKNOWN]: the subject comes after the verb.
[UNKNOWN]: And so like we're gonna have to flip this around. [UNKNOWN]: I think the sentence says a new user can awaken Rota. [UNKNOWN]: Oh. [UNKNOWN]: I don't think the person who awakes him can control them. [UNKNOWN]: I think he can't be awoken by someone who's already in. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, so Tom. [UNKNOWN]: So for instance, Tom couldn't get in.
[UNKNOWN]: Kim? [UNKNOWN]: Could stump do it? [UNKNOWN]: Do we think it is that I'm having a little trouble parsing through this? [UNKNOWN]: I don't, I'm sorry, I don't know what that means, but I think maybe if someone is already acquainted with Rota, maybe they can't access him again. [UNKNOWN]: It seems like Roto is some sort of a catalog or system of keeping, of safe keeping.
[UNKNOWN]: Can we get out of here? [UNKNOWN]: I'm gun real sick. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, here's the thing. [UNKNOWN]: Since y'all stayed, I need you all to roll another charisma saving throw. [UNKNOWN]: Ooh! [UNKNOWN]: I have a plus for a team with that was an at one. [UNKNOWN]: Ooh. [UNKNOWN]: I got a 26. [UNKNOWN]: Nice.
[UNKNOWN]: Uh, Solomon, you take 11 points of psychic damage. [UNKNOWN]: Hmm, okay, we're about a 15. [UNKNOWN]: Ben Croft saves again, she is in it. [UNKNOWN]: Uh, 15 fails, you also take 11 points of psychic damage. [UNKNOWN]: Boo. [UNKNOWN]: All of your brains are beginning to collapse. [UNKNOWN]: You're going to take increasing amounts of damage the longer you stay.
[UNKNOWN]: All right, uh, we got to get out of here. [UNKNOWN]: You said wrote us some kind of catalog? [UNKNOWN]: Yes. [UNKNOWN]: Is it, is it sent in? [UNKNOWN]: Ben Croft is in it now. [UNKNOWN]: She is like, this is, [UNKNOWN]: This is beautiful. [UNKNOWN]: How long does this go back? [UNKNOWN]: Solomon, we go home.
[UNKNOWN]: How this archive on you at all times? [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, all right, we got to go. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, I pull everybody out. [UNKNOWN]: You are unceremoniously dumped back on bankruptcy floor. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, use all, you all slammed to the earth. [UNKNOWN]: You have what amounts to a migraine. [UNKNOWN]: And bankruptcy holds her head, [UNKNOWN]: Why did you pull us out?
[UNKNOWN]: Because everybody was starting to collapse and you seemed to be getting a little drawn in. [UNKNOWN]: You said you had a grad student get too close to one of the doors and it started whisperin' to him. [UNKNOWN]: Did it start whisperin' to you? [UNKNOWN]: I need back in. [UNKNOWN]: Dr. [UNKNOWN]: This ain't the time.
[UNKNOWN]: Then when is the time? [UNKNOWN]: Not right now. [UNKNOWN]: Because, come to think of it. [UNKNOWN]: It seems like you might owe me more. [UNKNOWN]: Was it whisperin' to you? [UNKNOWN]: I've seen my entire life's work laid before my eyes, you think I just want to give that up? [UNKNOWN]: I think we all want a lot of things, but that doesn't mean the things we want are good for us, doctor.
[UNKNOWN]: Are you going to let me back in or not? [UNKNOWN]: No. [UNKNOWN]: Um, maybe, no. [UNKNOWN]: Do you have any non-academic skills, Dr. Bancroft? [UNKNOWN]: I don't see how that's important. [UNKNOWN]: Why it kind of goes to whisper to Solomon. [UNKNOWN]: If she has any kind of practical skills, whether physical or magic or mental, we could bring her with us and like at night when we sleep, y'all could go back in again or something.
[UNKNOWN]: Don't trust her with this, honey. [UNKNOWN]: Do you have Zona Truth? [UNKNOWN]: I don't, but I think Hayden might? [UNKNOWN]: Nope. [UNKNOWN]: No, I don't. [UNKNOWN]: Nope, just kidding. [UNKNOWN]: Hayden doesn't. [UNKNOWN]: I do, but it's not prep to right now. [UNKNOWN]: If you're done whispering.
[UNKNOWN]: Doc, was it done? [UNKNOWN]: You're in my room. [UNKNOWN]: All right, was it whispering to you? [UNKNOWN]: I need you to answer me. [UNKNOWN]: I saw, to yes, you're no question. [UNKNOWN]: The book was not whispering to me. [UNKNOWN]: Then what happened? [UNKNOWN]: I saw everything I've been working for since I was a girl laid before me.
[UNKNOWN]: If you could have everything you ever wanted. [UNKNOWN]: Lay it out on the table in front of you. [UNKNOWN]: Wouldn't you take it? [UNKNOWN]: of course, which is why we need to do this safely. [UNKNOWN]: All right, this ain't the time to go back in. [UNKNOWN]: Take it in doses, parse out what you can, translate what you can.
[UNKNOWN]: If you can do that and stay stable, then we can bring you back in, you understand? [UNKNOWN]: A little bit at a time. [UNKNOWN]: She sighs and says, you're at. [UNKNOWN]: I apologize. [UNKNOWN]: I was out of line. [UNKNOWN]: And I will be more than happy to take a break, translate what I've seen, and we can come back to this in another time.
[UNKNOWN]: Insight check. [UNKNOWN]: Sure. [UNKNOWN]: I'll do it too. [UNKNOWN]: Why not? [UNKNOWN]: 14. [UNKNOWN]: 24. [UNKNOWN]: Less than both of those. [UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: With a 14 and less than that, you think she might be switching tax. [UNKNOWN]: with a 24, Hayden, academics have a lot of sucking up to do to get their research funded.
[UNKNOWN]: Y'all are not friends, your patrons now. [UNKNOWN]: She will kiss whose ever asset takes to get her research funded. [UNKNOWN]: You know, Ms. Bancroft, we got other things to be take care of today. [UNKNOWN]: Let's let go back on this in a little while, alright? [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, let's get moving folks.
[UNKNOWN]: I will begin translating what I can, and as soon as I have something I will let you know. [UNKNOWN]: Sounds lovely. [UNKNOWN]: Thanks, Doc. [UNKNOWN]: As we leave, and why it gets out the door, he pokes his head back in and says, oh, I'm sorry, also just the other part of that bad news was, my dad says you can't be my tutor.
[UNKNOWN]: Sorry, and then he leaves. [UNKNOWN]: Bankrupt, purses, or lips. [UNKNOWN]: horse yourself a drink, and then grabs a pen and paper. [UNKNOWN]: I do not trust that woman. [UNKNOWN]: Do you want to pick up your stuff in Clovis? [UNKNOWN]: Yeah! [UNKNOWN]: Let's do it! [UNKNOWN]: You head to one bad stitch.
[UNKNOWN]: And Clovis is standing by in the counter and Clovis says, Oh, I was hoping I'd see you three. [UNKNOWN]: Howdy! [UNKNOWN]: Always excited to see you. [UNKNOWN]: You, uh, you got some a little bit of fun for us, darling. [UNKNOWN]: I do. [UNKNOWN]: I do. [UNKNOWN]: Seems like every damn time we come in here, you got some Mcsatton.
[UNKNOWN]: Well, you continue to inspire exciting ideas. [UNKNOWN]: Ooh, I can't wait! [UNKNOWN]: Clovis pulls a couple things from beneath. [UNKNOWN]: The counter. [UNKNOWN]: First. [UNKNOWN]: is a suit, why it? [UNKNOWN]: You only have to look at the suit to know that it fits perfectly. [UNKNOWN]: You don't know how.
[UNKNOWN]: Hove us manages to do this. [UNKNOWN]: Everything always fits. [UNKNOWN]: As you hold it up, an initially appears black. [UNKNOWN]: But as you hold it, the light shines ever so slightly in an iridescent array of colors, splashed throughout. [UNKNOWN]: It's only noticeable if you look directly at it, but it's gorgeous.
[UNKNOWN]: Hmm, it has a large fur collar, giving the impression of a great mane. [UNKNOWN]: And Clovis says, strictly not, flame inspired, only lying. [UNKNOWN]: Thank you. [UNKNOWN]: Um, just, just, just check, I'm speaking of the flavor. [UNKNOWN]: It's fire resistant, right? [UNKNOWN]: Does it need to be?
[UNKNOWN]: Not, no! [UNKNOWN]: Clovis, Clovis takes the suit from you and says, Allow me a moment. [UNKNOWN]: And Clovis walks into a back room. [UNKNOWN]: And if you'd like, you can all make perception checks. [UNKNOWN]: Ooh, yes, please. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Sure. [UNKNOWN]: 21. [UNKNOWN]: 16.
[UNKNOWN]: 16. [UNKNOWN]: As well. [UNKNOWN]: This is a high check. [UNKNOWN]: So Hayden, you were the only one who glimpses this. [UNKNOWN]: Clovis takes the suit into the back. [UNKNOWN]: You see him hold it up to his mouth. [UNKNOWN]: And as he does, [UNKNOWN]: It seems to glow for a second, and then he brings it back out, and he says, it now repels flame.
[UNKNOWN]: Though next time, perhaps you would like to lead with that. [UNKNOWN]: Sorry, I just sometimes don't know how to communicate with you. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, you're all right, do you [UNKNOWN]: is present time. [UNKNOWN]: Each of these masks covers not just your eyes, but your full face. [UNKNOWN]: Seemingly an effort of anonymity made from Clovis.
[UNKNOWN]: Each of them is breathtakingly ordnate with details in every crevice. [UNKNOWN]: The first is the face of a lion. [UNKNOWN]: Not snarling or roaring, it's mouth is closed and yet it radiates strength. [UNKNOWN]: It's calm, yet it's eyes through which you would see emit such an intensity, such an authority that it's hard to stare at directly.
[UNKNOWN]: It's back sweeps over and behind your head into fur that matches your collar, why it, giving the impression of one continuous mane when both it and the suit are worn. [UNKNOWN]: This mask seeks above all else, Concord. [UNKNOWN]: And just between you and me, it gives plus one intimidation and persuasion.
[UNKNOWN]: Clovis opens the next box. [UNKNOWN]: This one is of a thorned tree. [UNKNOWN]: This mask is intense. [UNKNOWN]: Its face is obscured in brambles and thorns, save its eyes through which you would see. [UNKNOWN]: These eyes are simple holes in the mask as if these eyes are only there to see the [UNKNOWN]: These brambles continue backward and out into a halo crown of branches and thorns radiating from its top and sides.
[UNKNOWN]: This mask seeks above all else. [UNKNOWN]: Retribution. [UNKNOWN]: And just between you and me, it gives plus two insight. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, wow. [UNKNOWN]: And the last one. [UNKNOWN]: Clovis opens. [UNKNOWN]: This one is vaguely legomorphic, hair like, in its facial features. [UNKNOWN]: Its eyes, through which you would see, emanate something wild, unknowable, and yet knowing.
[UNKNOWN]: Yet, their curved brow seems almost sad, as if these eyes were inviting you to know them better. [UNKNOWN]: From its furred crowns, sprouts, antlers, amazingly light and yet impressive to look at, from the tips of these horns, dangles, stars, and concentric half moons. [UNKNOWN]: This mask seeks above all else, recipients.
[UNKNOWN]: And just between you and me, it gives a plus one to nature and perception. [UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: You are an artist, Clovis. [UNKNOWN]: Thank you. [UNKNOWN]: Darling, this is really incredible. [UNKNOWN]: Is there something we can do to thank you? [UNKNOWN]: Stay safe. [UNKNOWN]: May these masks aid you.
[UNKNOWN]: And whatever comes next for you. [UNKNOWN]: I think Solomon will take a few of the briars from around her Holy Symbol and just unwrap them and very gently place them in Clovis's hand. [UNKNOWN]: And honestly, I don't know if he'll be able to do anything with them, but I think that Solomon is so overwhelmed by the kindness and thoughtfulness that he put into making all of this that he has to give him something.
[UNKNOWN]: And so this is like, [UNKNOWN]: The best version of a potentially magical material that he might be able to use that she has. [UNKNOWN]: Where were these the ones that came from Lila's tree? [UNKNOWN]: Ooh, I don't know that I want to part with those. [UNKNOWN]: It's probably nice too, right?
[UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, these are the ones that came from Lila's tree. [UNKNOWN]: You hand them to Clovis. [UNKNOWN]: all of you rollin' inside check. [UNKNOWN]: Hmm. [UNKNOWN]: I put on the mask as though to just try it on. [UNKNOWN]: I can all take a plus too to that. [UNKNOWN]: I'm too cute.
[UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: It's only a 13. [UNKNOWN]: Only a 13. [UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: I also put my mask on, but it doesn't change the roll at all. [UNKNOWN]: I just put it on. [UNKNOWN]: Cause I'll make it. [UNKNOWN]: And it's a 14. [UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: Hayden got a 28.
[UNKNOWN]: She's a screw. [UNKNOWN]: Hayden and Clovis are like really in tune. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, we're really riding this a wavelength here. [UNKNOWN]: On a 13 and a 14, you don't notice much. [UNKNOWN]: Solomon, you know that these brambles are from Lila. [UNKNOWN]: Mm-hmm. [UNKNOWN]: Hayden, something flashes across Clovis's face for a second.
[UNKNOWN]: And you're not quite sure what to make of it. [UNKNOWN]: No fucking way. [UNKNOWN]: You almost see a tear before Clovis resumes composure. [UNKNOWN]: And says, what is this? [UNKNOWN]: Oh, it's some thorns, some brires, I guess. [UNKNOWN]: My aunt Lai was turned into a tree for a little while, and she became this.
[UNKNOWN]: There's a lot of magic in them. [UNKNOWN]: I think they're sort of alive, and in some way, I guess, kind of connected to her. [UNKNOWN]: I don't know. [UNKNOWN]: I guess I just thought that maybe this was a material that you could work with. [UNKNOWN]: I hope that's okay. [UNKNOWN]: It's kind of all I have in that regard.
[UNKNOWN]: Thank you. [UNKNOWN]: Thank you very much. [UNKNOWN]: This is something exceedingly extraordinary. [UNKNOWN]: And something I would like to hold on to if you wouldn't mind. [UNKNOWN]: Of course, it's a gift. [UNKNOWN]: I wish I could do more for you, but this is sort of what I have. [UNKNOWN]: I hope it comes in handy for you at some point.
[UNKNOWN]: Thank you. [UNKNOWN]: Thank you. [UNKNOWN]: Thank you. [UNKNOWN]: I heard a tale of a dodgeball tournament. [UNKNOWN]: Happening in town tomorrow. [UNKNOWN]: That's right. [UNKNOWN]: Are you going to be there? [UNKNOWN]: You see Clovis take a small box. [UNKNOWN]: from a shelf nearby, place the Bramble in it.
[UNKNOWN]: As he's doing this, he says, oh, well, anyone who's anyone would be there, right? [UNKNOWN]: Well, I suppose we'll see you there. [UNKNOWN]: And if we find out you've been making uniforms for somebody else, we're going to be upset. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, my dear. [UNKNOWN]: I wouldn't dream of it.
[UNKNOWN]: I trust. [UNKNOWN]: I will not be the only one there rooting for you. [UNKNOWN]: No, I think our families are going to be there. [UNKNOWN]: So do I hope? [UNKNOWN]: No. [UNKNOWN]: It'd be a little awkward if you were. [UNKNOWN]: Well, come up with a team name and let me know of it before that.
[UNKNOWN]: That way I know what I will be losing my voice crying out. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, well, there we go, we love you, Clovis. [UNKNOWN]: I can't just give Clovis a long hug. [UNKNOWN]: I was actually just going to reach out a hand to shake Clovis. [UNKNOWN]: We'll be seeing you again very soon, but in the meantime, your family.
[UNKNOWN]: And I just kind of hold eye contact for an extra second before letting go. [UNKNOWN]: Clovis smiles and says, [UNKNOWN]: Thank you, dude, hard. [UNKNOWN]: You motherfucker. [UNKNOWN]: I noticed that Clovis started using that phrase, and I was like, that has to be kind of a, a, like, a something from somewhere else.
[UNKNOWN]: Like, maybe Casey just started using that. [UNKNOWN]: I didn't clock the pattern, but oh my fucking God, that's this is terrible. [UNKNOWN]: Well, I'm gonna stop floating with Clovis now, and we need to go. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, yeah. [UNKNOWN]: I don't know why. [UNKNOWN]: I don't know what you mean.
[UNKNOWN]: Anyway, dodgeball day. [UNKNOWN]: It's crazy. [UNKNOWN]: Ben Bardman. [UNKNOWN]: I had the, like, thought to give Clovis Lila's Bryers. [UNKNOWN]: The things are crazy, okay, we have to tell us. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, yeah, we just have to get out of this building. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, yeah, we leave, we leave, we leave, we leave.
[UNKNOWN]: The second, we pass out of the building. [UNKNOWN]: And like, you hear the little jingle of the bell as the door closes. [UNKNOWN]: I immediately grab Solomon and Wyatt's wrists. [UNKNOWN]: And I go, [UNKNOWN]: Clovis is cute, Clovis is cute, Clovis is cute, Clovis is cute, Clovis is cute, Clovis is cute, Clovis is cute, Clovis is cute, Clovis is cute, Clovis is cute, Clovis is cute, Clovis is cute, Clovis is cute, Clovis is cute, Clovis is cute, Clovis is cute, Clovis is cute, Clovis is cute, Clovis is cute, Clovis is cute, Clovis is cute, Clovis is cute, Clovis is cute, Clovis is cute, Clovis is cute, Clovis is cute, Clovis is cute, Clovis is cute, Clovis is cute, Clovis is cute, Clovis is cute, Clovis is cute, Clovis is cute, Clovis is cute, Clovis is cute, Clovis is cute, Clovis is cute, Clovis is cute, Clovis is cute, Clovis is cute, Clovis is cute, Clovis is cute, Clovis is cute, Clovis is cute, Clovis is
[UNKNOWN]: I gave him a little clue. [UNKNOWN]: I think that's where the deer heart came from at the end there. [UNKNOWN]: Oh my God. [UNKNOWN]: Yes, we did it. [UNKNOWN]: We got a little too. [UNKNOWN]: We got a little too. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, what do we tell him? [UNKNOWN]: Clofus and Lala sitting in a place together.
[UNKNOWN]: We'll just get a sitting next to each other. [UNKNOWN]: Oh my God. [UNKNOWN]: Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. [UNKNOWN]: What if we get them set up in seats next to each other and we put all of our friends in the same seats? [UNKNOWN]: And we just happen to see what. [UNKNOWN]: Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes [UNKNOWN]: I'm going to send a, just with a, with a, whatever, um, you know, because if you're like, there's always quarreys walking by, I feel like I'll just send like a message to shift via a career that is like, it is imperative that Delilah and Magdalena Breyer are seated next to Clovis at the Dodgeball Tournament Donuts.
[UNKNOWN]: Why? [UNKNOWN]: You do and later that day you get a met you get a career that comes back and says, Yeah, she just said, okay. [UNKNOWN]: That exact inflection has ever been more important to me. [UNKNOWN]: And you know what's great about it, isn't it? [UNKNOWN]: It's going to seem like we didn't even met all she ain't ever going to know.
[UNKNOWN]: Exactly. [UNKNOWN]: I think she might know these little reserved tents on the seats. [UNKNOWN]: It's yes general admission in like a gymnasium except for like three. [UNKNOWN]: It's it's it's full on just bleachers and there are two little cards that say reserved for and everywhere else is blank.
[UNKNOWN]: That's so funny. [UNKNOWN]: It's bombardment day. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, you love to see it. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, yeah, yeah. [UNKNOWN]: The city square of Twin River, the one before the clock tower, has been moved of all of its market stalls. [UNKNOWN]: And instead, there is one big court surrounded by stands.
[UNKNOWN]: The bombardment court. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: The bombardment is the game. [UNKNOWN]: Mm-hmm. [UNKNOWN]: You see people of Twin River with painted faces. [UNKNOWN]: The bombardment is life. [UNKNOWN]: That's on Clovis's chest. [UNKNOWN]: On his chest? [UNKNOWN]: Some... [UNKNOWN]: There are people here who have tattoos that say bombardment is life.
[UNKNOWN]: It's a hell of a game. [UNKNOWN]: Mm-hmm. [UNKNOWN]: You three sign up as a team? [UNKNOWN]: Oh yeah, we got it. [UNKNOWN]: Of course. [UNKNOWN]: At the registration table, the person behind the desk says, All right. [UNKNOWN]: Uh, what's your team name? [UNKNOWN]: Oh fuck. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
[UNKNOWN]: Um. [UNKNOWN]: Ha ha ha ha. [UNKNOWN]: I was gonna say an honor of stomp. [UNKNOWN]: We could be the drill daddy's. [UNKNOWN]: I like that and I hate it at the same time. [UNKNOWN]: I think I'm leaning toward the second of those two. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, why? [UNKNOWN]: I mean, we are the twin river trio, aren't we?
[UNKNOWN]: Yeah, but that feels a little long nose into and river, don't it? [UNKNOWN]: Ah, that's both. [UNKNOWN]: Are we the twin river trio to us? [UNKNOWN]: No, we are to the authorities. [UNKNOWN]: Casey, actually, I have a question for you. [UNKNOWN]: Is there something disparaging that the authorities have been calling us on our wanton posters?
[UNKNOWN]: I think y'all are called the Twin River Trio, more often than not, but um, the three little murders, although, once why it was introduced, y'all have shifted to the two and a half little murders, I don't know, it's y'all's ballgame. [UNKNOWN]: Pods, oh, oh, you know what we should, oh god, we could be the brand muffins.
[UNKNOWN]: Oh, let's not a blood for you. [UNKNOWN]: I love it right cuz I thought what if we're the brand muffins cuz we're violent And we want to start a feud It's for yourself We prefer drilled out these are brand muffins. [UNKNOWN]: I like brand muffins. [UNKNOWN]: Well, here's the thing if it's two versus one Then she just be brand muffin That is good.
[UNKNOWN]: That is true. [UNKNOWN]: Two against one all of all of this has happened in real time and the person sitting at the desk is like [UNKNOWN]: Sorry, we should have thought this through. [UNKNOWN]: We're gonna be the brain muffins. [UNKNOWN]: We're going with brain muffins. [UNKNOWN]: We're gonna be the brain muffins.
[UNKNOWN]: Yeah, cause we're here to hurt. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: We're going with brain muffins. [UNKNOWN]: What? [UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: Brain muffins. [UNKNOWN]: Great. [UNKNOWN]: Well done. [UNKNOWN]: Almost. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: The tournament's still about to get started. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, you made it.
[UNKNOWN]: Can I pull everybody into a little hud or a quick? [UNKNOWN]: Hey, I'm not you, sign up, guy. [UNKNOWN]: Okay, I'm just stiff arm those side of her back. [UNKNOWN]: She's right. [UNKNOWN]: Tina's fine. [UNKNOWN]: Nobody wants to have a little with me. [UNKNOWN]: Team Bramuff and Drill Daddy Huddle real quick.
[UNKNOWN]: Alright, listen. [UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: We're going to knock this out of the park. [UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: We're going to play. [UNKNOWN]: Mercilisley. [UNKNOWN]: We are going to we are we are given no quarter and we are taking no prisoners are at I want to see everybody Showing a little bit less mercy than we have been shown to our opponents in real after all understand me Yes, yes, ma'am.
[UNKNOWN]: We're going to win this game because I need the we because we need this all right y'all y'all get it What do we win? [UNKNOWN]: We need us we need a celebratory mom celebratory moment at the end of this game so yeah [UNKNOWN]: And a lot. [UNKNOWN]: So the end queue are going to kiss and if they don't kiss, they don't kiss at the end of this game, then we have failed and y'all have failed me, or at y'all understand.
[UNKNOWN]: This is going to be a huge leap in the non-existent relationship. [UNKNOWN]: This is going to be huge for us, or at on three, one, two, three, four, two, three, four. [UNKNOWN]: A huge leap between their relationship. [UNKNOWN]: And I can't use inspiring leader on everybody. [UNKNOWN]: Just not just give us 10 HP.
[UNKNOWN]: Everybody gets 17 HP. [UNKNOWN]: 17. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Wow. [UNKNOWN]: That's so much. [UNKNOWN]: I know. [UNKNOWN]: Alright. [UNKNOWN]: With that all being said, you were registered. [UNKNOWN]: The brand muffins are registered. [UNKNOWN]: And [UNKNOWN]: you get ready to head to the court.
[UNKNOWN]: At some point yesterday, the rules were explained to each of you, but I will go ahead and explain them to you now. [UNKNOWN]: All right. [UNKNOWN]: So, in this game that we call bombardment, the ball is an improvised ranged weapon. [UNKNOWN]: It does one D4 bludgeoning damage, [UNKNOWN]: and you just use your regular unmodified, whatever you use for improvised ranged weapons, that is what it's gonna be.
[UNKNOWN]: Instead of the enemy rolling attacks against you, I am going to have you dodge enemy rolls. [UNKNOWN]: You can make a dex saving throw to avoid a ball that is coming at you, or you can make a much harder strength saving throw to try and catch it. [UNKNOWN]: Catching removes the attacker from the game, failing the strength check, however, means that you get hit and are out.
[UNKNOWN]: Enemies can try to succeed on strength saving throws to catch as well, and must succeed on a strength saving throw at or above your attacker. [UNKNOWN]: It is an action to throw the ball, a bonus action to pass the ball, and an object interaction to pick up the ball. [UNKNOWN]: the last team with a player on the court wins.
[UNKNOWN]: At the top of the game, you're going to roll initiative. [UNKNOWN]: There are two threams, teams of three, three balls on the center line, and you start about 15 feet away. [UNKNOWN]: And you cannot throw the ball while you're at the starting line, or at the ball line. [UNKNOWN]: A couple of quick clarifying questions.
[UNKNOWN]: Number one, how big is our side of the court? [UNKNOWN]: And we are not allowed to step out of bounds. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, each side is a 30 by 30 square. [UNKNOWN]: 30 by 30. [UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: You start at the, you start at a line that is in the middle of your section. [UNKNOWN]: It is 15 feet to the line.
[UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: You cannot throw when you're at the line. [UNKNOWN]: You have to step back like 10 feet. [UNKNOWN]: Okay, so if people are near me, you will get an extra plus five to save. [UNKNOWN]: Is the thing, if you're within 10 feet of me, you get an extra plus five to save. [UNKNOWN]: So that's something to just note.
[UNKNOWN]: Also, I assume we're not allowed to cast preparatory spells, like all the spells we cast have to be in, the action of the game. [UNKNOWN]: I have to be in the game. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, okay. [UNKNOWN]: You can't prep spells, the game hasn't started. [UNKNOWN]: Okay, all right, they look at your task.
[UNKNOWN]: Any questions? [UNKNOWN]: Thanks, Brandon. [UNKNOWN]: Uh, no, but this is when we find out that my attack modifier is only charisma on my packed weapon and my actual regular attack modifier kind of sucks. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, no, let's get started. [UNKNOWN]: Hey, and I hope you're ready to do everything in this game.
[UNKNOWN]: Oh, dear. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, get keep me alive. [UNKNOWN]: Great. [UNKNOWN]: At the start of the game. [UNKNOWN]: you walk out onto your line and look across. [UNKNOWN]: And you see a goblin girl, a human girl, or sorry, an elephant girl, and a dwarven boy. [UNKNOWN]: walk out on their way. [UNKNOWN]: You see?
[UNKNOWN]: I slightly said human boy sitting in the stands. [UNKNOWN]: Oh Derek! [UNKNOWN]: Oh boy! [UNKNOWN]: As Spunkey, Sorsa, and Gormia step out onto their side. [UNKNOWN]: Spunkey looks at y'all and slashes across her throat. [UNKNOWN]: Y'all do not underestimate these kids. [UNKNOWN]: They will try to take us down.
[UNKNOWN]: We're gonna teach these kids a hard lesson in losing. [UNKNOWN]: Um, do you have any questions about the flame? [UNKNOWN]: The Spunkey says, yeah, I got a question. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, amazing. [UNKNOWN]: What is it? [UNKNOWN]: Is it gonna save you? [UNKNOWN]: Oh, yes. [UNKNOWN]: Yes. [UNKNOWN]: And your first round is it is against team scraps?
[UNKNOWN]: Oh, yeah. [UNKNOWN]: You love to see it. [UNKNOWN]: And I need everyone to roll initiative. [UNKNOWN]: 30-20! [UNKNOWN]: Ooooooh! [UNKNOWN]: Uh, first, in the order is Wyatt. [UNKNOWN]: Everyone starts running for the balls. [UNKNOWN]: Wyatt, you're first. [UNKNOWN]: Um, well, uh, this never happens.
[UNKNOWN]: I'm never first in this. [UNKNOWN]: Uh, I guess, uh, go. [UNKNOWN]: Why? [UNKNOWN]: Get up. [UNKNOWN]: Stop moving. [UNKNOWN]: And why it's going to cast a whole person at a fourth level on all three screws. [UNKNOWN]: So good. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, that's so good. [UNKNOWN]: I loved it. [UNKNOWN]: You loved it.
[UNKNOWN]: So you loved it. [UNKNOWN]: So you loved it. [UNKNOWN]: They need to make a DC 17 with some saving throw. [UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: I'm gonna take a picture of this. [UNKNOWN]: I rolled two Nat ones. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, whoa. [UNKNOWN]: You love to see it. [UNKNOWN]: I'll bet they wish they put Derek in.
[UNKNOWN]: Ha ha ha. [UNKNOWN]: Ha ha ha ha. [UNKNOWN]: Okay, so that's one success and two failures. [UNKNOWN]: Great. [UNKNOWN]: Spunkey succeeds, sourcing ormya fail. [UNKNOWN]: And they are immobilized. [UNKNOWN]: And then as a bonus action, [UNKNOWN]: why it's going to turn to Solomon and say, hey, I stopped them.
[UNKNOWN]: You got it. [UNKNOWN]: You got to make sure you hit spunky and is going to use the help action as a bonus action using spite. [UNKNOWN]: So the first time that Solomon hits a creature with an attack that target then has disadvantage on its next attack roll, which will mean we get advantage on our dodge.
[UNKNOWN]: All right, why at that is great. [UNKNOWN]: Thank you, Nolan. [UNKNOWN]: Amazing. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, of course. [UNKNOWN]: I wasn't able to do this when I was in school. [UNKNOWN]: So I hope it's helping now. [UNKNOWN]: It's great. [UNKNOWN]: This is why I'm taking first. [UNKNOWN]: I mean, you, you didn't really pick me.
[UNKNOWN]: We were just kind of accept the couple of it. [UNKNOWN]: We could have picked a lot of people in this damn town. [UNKNOWN]: We picked you. [UNKNOWN]: Wow. [UNKNOWN]: We could have picked our letter better. [UNKNOWN]: This all happens in the middle of a Dodgeball game. [UNKNOWN]: Is there anything else to do on your turn?
[UNKNOWN]: Why it? [UNKNOWN]: Um, I'll run and pick up a ball and then run away. [UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: Don't say get yourself to your heart. [UNKNOWN]: To Solomon. [UNKNOWN]: I'll run to Solomon. [UNKNOWN]: Ooh. [UNKNOWN]: You can run. [UNKNOWN]: Pick up a ball using your object interaction and then run back.
[UNKNOWN]: Yep. [UNKNOWN]: Great. [UNKNOWN]: You have a ball. [UNKNOWN]: Uh, Solomon. [UNKNOWN]: Great. [UNKNOWN]: I will use my. [UNKNOWN]: Hmm. [UNKNOWN]: You. [UNKNOWN]: This is complicated now because you gave me the help action. [UNKNOWN]: Hmm. [UNKNOWN]: Okay, I was gonna cast Blust, but since you gave me the help action, I don't wanna use my action to cast a spell yet.
[UNKNOWN]: So I will go ahead and make an attack. [UNKNOWN]: I'll pick up the ball and throw it at Spunky. [UNKNOWN]: Okay, go ahead and make an attack through it. [UNKNOWN]: Hard as I can. [UNKNOWN]: 23. [UNKNOWN]: 23. [UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: You do that and Spunky is going to activate an ability that she has called scrappy in which if an attack would hit, she gets to roll a deck save.
[UNKNOWN]: All right. [UNKNOWN]: She passes. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, no. [UNKNOWN]: She uses scrappy. [UNKNOWN]: You throw. [UNKNOWN]: It looks like it's dead on. [UNKNOWN]: And at the last second, scrappy goes, oh. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, [UNKNOWN]: And I'm going to cast sanctuary on Wyatt.
[UNKNOWN]: Cool. [UNKNOWN]: What does that do? [UNKNOWN]: It makes it so that until the spell ends, any creature who targets Wyatt with an attack must first make a wisdom throw on a failed save. [UNKNOWN]: The creature must choose a new target or lose the attack or spell. [UNKNOWN]: Cool. [UNKNOWN]: Hayden, it is your turn.
[UNKNOWN]: All right. [UNKNOWN]: Well, it sounds like I'm supposed to be a designated hitter on this, so I'm gonna run up grab a ball and I'm gonna take an easy shot. [UNKNOWN]: I'm gonna take one of the two hell kids. [UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, there you go. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: I'll go for going.
[UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: No, that's just smart honestly Like get the two of them out while they're held Go on you just like oh [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, yeah, all right. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, it sucks. [UNKNOWN]: It sucks to play dodgeball when you can't dodge them to the break skids That's a 19 hit you It hits gourmier and gourmier goes oh They like someone someone announces they're like, oh, that is one from the scraps and Gormier's like Okay, Lou, I could leave the court [UNKNOWN]: Okay, why honey, you might want to let him off the hook.
[UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, so can I bonus action take why it's other ball to make my second attack I want to say no Because I think it's a bonus action to pass the ball to take the ball from somebody. [UNKNOWN]: I don't think so. [UNKNOWN]: All right. [UNKNOWN]: I'm going to rule now. [UNKNOWN]: Okay.
[UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: Great. [UNKNOWN]: Anything else? [UNKNOWN]: I'm brazen for it. [UNKNOWN]: I'm brazen for the inevitable counterattack. [UNKNOWN]: Great use through the ball at Gormia and Gormia is out So there are two balls on Spunkey side and it is Spunkey's turn Spunkey is going to use an object interaction to pick up a ball [UNKNOWN]: and spunky like Bay Ruth points at you Hayden.
[UNKNOWN]: And then is going to throw at you and I need you to make a deck saving throw. [UNKNOWN]: Warding flare. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, okay. [UNKNOWN]: You get to make it with advantage because Hayden is our best attacker. [UNKNOWN]: Here we go. [UNKNOWN]: at twenty one. [UNKNOWN]: If you're with a ten feet of me, it's twenty six.
[UNKNOWN]: So that will be a twenty six. [UNKNOWN]: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, [UNKNOWN]: All right, who is roses versus frozen?
[UNKNOWN]: Well, sourcer can make a Sorcer can make a frozen. [UNKNOWN]: It's sourcer. [UNKNOWN]: It's sourcer. [UNKNOWN]: It's sourcer. [UNKNOWN]: Balances on Okay, Spunky keeps the ball. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah Spunky has the ball. [UNKNOWN]: Spunky keeps the ball. [UNKNOWN]: We fucked up your shit. [UNKNOWN]: There you go.
[UNKNOWN]: And it's sourcer's turn. [UNKNOWN]: Sourcer has to be a what now? [UNKNOWN]: 17 wisdom [UNKNOWN]: Hmm, that's not gonna do it. [UNKNOWN]: Sources, stays frozen. [UNKNOWN]: And Spunky goes. [UNKNOWN]: And she does. [UNKNOWN]: Why am I the only one who pulls their weight around here? [UNKNOWN]: Ha ha.
[UNKNOWN]: Maybe you should ask Derek. [UNKNOWN]: Gormia, who's still in the court, is like, oh, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey [UNKNOWN]: I'm a ball.
[UNKNOWN]: I'm going to, I'm going to give my ball to Hayden with my bonus action. [UNKNOWN]: I'm then going to, I'll leave that other ball for Solome or Hayden or whoever wants it. [UNKNOWN]: And then I'm going to cast command on Spunky. [UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: And say Halt Okay, and she has to make a wisdom saving throw Oh, she fails.
[UNKNOWN]: Okay, great. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, so she holds Halt okay, she stands there. [UNKNOWN]: Yep. [UNKNOWN]: That doesn't mean she can't dodge That just means she can't like move groovy cool [UNKNOWN]: Right. [UNKNOWN]: That's in the round. [UNKNOWN]: That's awesome. [UNKNOWN]: That's all. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, it's good.
[UNKNOWN]: Why it. [UNKNOWN]: Cool. [UNKNOWN]: You're up. [UNKNOWN]: So you passed Hayden a ball. [UNKNOWN]: Salt made as your turn. [UNKNOWN]: All right. [UNKNOWN]: I'm gonna. [UNKNOWN]: I think well everyone is still. [UNKNOWN]: I'm just going to attack at the moment. [UNKNOWN]: So I will take. [UNKNOWN]: I will pick up a ball object interaction.
[UNKNOWN]: Take an attack. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, that is a 16 to hit. [UNKNOWN]: Or you attack him. [UNKNOWN]: Spunky. [UNKNOWN]: Spunky. [UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: That would hit. [UNKNOWN]: Spunky is going to make a deck's check to dodge using her scrappy building. [UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: Ooh, she dodges with flying colors.
[UNKNOWN]: She dodges again. [UNKNOWN]: And says, oh, that, uh, count them, two count them. [UNKNOWN]: I'm getting a girl. [UNKNOWN]: Is your aim getting worse? [UNKNOWN]: Probably just like your site and your age. [UNKNOWN]: Girl, I don't think you understand how much you're barking up the wrong tree right now.
[UNKNOWN]: I don't care. [UNKNOWN]: You need a new install girl. [UNKNOWN]: Are you kind of projecting your own fears about getting older? [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, man, but we should talk about it sometimes. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, it's shut up. [UNKNOWN]: I basically do the same ages you. [UNKNOWN]: I... [UNKNOWN]: Agents a wonderful thing.
[UNKNOWN]: I'm gonna throw a ball at you and see how you like it. [UNKNOWN]: I'd love to see you try. [UNKNOWN]: Next in the order. [UNKNOWN]: Next in the order is Hayden. [UNKNOWN]: All righty. [UNKNOWN]: Well, first off, I'm gonna take out the other, held the person and go for Sorsa. [UNKNOWN]: There you go.
[UNKNOWN]: Sorsa goes... Sucks suck! [UNKNOWN]: Suck! [UNKNOWN]: Suck! [UNKNOWN]: Suck! [UNKNOWN]: Not my greatest, but that is 17 to hit. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, that hits. [UNKNOWN]: All right. [UNKNOWN]: I mean, source, I can't try to catch it. [UNKNOWN]: So she's out. [UNKNOWN]: Other than it's just down to Spunky.
[UNKNOWN]: Yeah, yeah, come on. [UNKNOWN]: Are there any balls on the side of the court right now? [UNKNOWN]: No, all three of them are on Spunky side and Spunky can't pick up two of them. [UNKNOWN]: So that's cool. [UNKNOWN]: You've just sucked, soft locked yourselves. [UNKNOWN]: We have to wait an entire turn just for anything to happen at all.
[UNKNOWN]: So, Spunky has the ball and the two other balls are on her side and she can't get them. [UNKNOWN]: And she's like, well, this sucks. [UNKNOWN]: Well, all right, you know what? [UNKNOWN]: game mode. [UNKNOWN]: Activate. [UNKNOWN]: I'm a game god and then throws the ball at you, Hayden. [UNKNOWN]: I need you to make a Decks check or a deck saving throw.
[UNKNOWN]: You could try to catch it if you feel good about your strength and that would end the game. [UNKNOWN]: I have a plus zero to strength. [UNKNOWN]: You have a plus five if you're within 10 feet. [UNKNOWN]: Are y'all okay if I get knocked out? [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, we got three of us. [UNKNOWN]: All right, here we go.
[UNKNOWN]: with a plus five? [UNKNOWN]: That's a 21. [UNKNOWN]: Oh! [UNKNOWN]: Ooh! [UNKNOWN]: Hot there. [UNKNOWN]: Catch it. [UNKNOWN]: You did it! [UNKNOWN]: Yeah! [UNKNOWN]: The ball. [UNKNOWN]: And Spunky starts jumping in the air, like slamming her feet down, going, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
[UNKNOWN]: Hey kid, with age comes experience. [UNKNOWN]: Your age is showing girl. [UNKNOWN]: Spunky, I win a game. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, good game, kid. [UNKNOWN]: I'll see you next time. [UNKNOWN]: That was fun. [UNKNOWN]: That was good. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, that, you know, you shake hands afterward. [UNKNOWN]: And Spunky looks that you hate and then goes, yeah, well, you know, I guess you're just glad it's not a pick pocket in competition.
[UNKNOWN]: Oh, by the way, the mean to ask, how's that hat? [UNKNOWN]: Have you been enjoying it? [UNKNOWN]: Oh, wait, you don't have it. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, too bad. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, that's interesting. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, that's interesting. [UNKNOWN]: See, you're saying, right? [UNKNOWN]: Gotta wait with the oil.
[UNKNOWN]: Oh, yeah, that's interesting. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, no. [UNKNOWN]: Y'all, all right, this ain't sportsmen like everybody get off the field. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, no. [UNKNOWN]: Great. [UNKNOWN]: Sanding the game. [UNKNOWN]: Clear. [UNKNOWN]: I just push, funky. [UNKNOWN]: Do we lose all of the spell effect?
[UNKNOWN]: Like the sanctuary spell on Wyatt? [UNKNOWN]: Does that like go away now? [UNKNOWN]: Yes, okay. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, so any spell that we cast the effects go away at the end of the game. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: No, it's okay. [UNKNOWN]: Old new game. [UNKNOWN]: And the next round begins. [UNKNOWN]: You walk out onto the court and across from you.
[UNKNOWN]: Walks out an ericocra teenager. [UNKNOWN]: A human postal worker. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho [UNKNOWN]: Oh, Rockefeller.
[UNKNOWN]: Is this a cheap blue collar? [UNKNOWN]: And they are announced as the blue collar proves. [UNKNOWN]: That's it. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, Earl, that is good to see you. [UNKNOWN]: You look like you're feeling better. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, I got plenty of sleeps. [UNKNOWN]: No, thanks to your friend our friend.
[UNKNOWN]: Excuse me. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, uh, your friend. [UNKNOWN]: The the real attractive guy Roads they're the roll-a-decks of all the attractive people that we've been rats my friend, but I wouldn't tell them where it where's all black [UNKNOWN]: Oh, was it for rabbits? [UNKNOWN]: It was for rabbits wouldn't it.
[UNKNOWN]: Oh, yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, he actually is a friend now Great didn't seem like it at the time And the answer goes all right. [UNKNOWN]: It's time To begin Great and I need you all to roll initiative [UNKNOWN]: It's like a net. [UNKNOWN]: It's really well. [UNKNOWN]: No, 30, 20. [UNKNOWN]: Wow.
[UNKNOWN]: 22 for Hayden. [UNKNOWN]: Back where I belong at 11. [UNKNOWN]: Great. [UNKNOWN]: First in the order is Charlie. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, all right, come on kid. [UNKNOWN]: Let's go. [UNKNOWN]: Don't root for them. [UNKNOWN]: Charlie, using their wings rushes forward, picks up a ball and then as they begin to back up, flap their wings and begin to co-into the air.
[UNKNOWN]: I love it. [UNKNOWN]: That's going to make things complicated. [UNKNOWN]: They have a ball and they are... [UNKNOWN]: They're gonna they're gonna hit you Wyatt. [UNKNOWN]: They're gonna try and hit you. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, okay. [UNKNOWN]: They can try That's your why why it's the wild caught for Charlie.
[UNKNOWN]: Yeah, it's true I need you to make a deck save. [UNKNOWN]: Do we think I'm close enough to sell my at the moment? [UNKNOWN]: Yes, you are 10 feet and I would put myself in the middle I'm gonna try to catch it Okay, oh So as Charlie throws it why it goes to catch this ball [UNKNOWN]: Tell me if a 19 catches it.
[UNKNOWN]: The ball comes sailing down towards you. [UNKNOWN]: You open your hands, get ready. [UNKNOWN]: It hits your palms. [UNKNOWN]: balances out. [UNKNOWN]: Does a 22 succeed? [UNKNOWN]: What do you mean? [UNKNOWN]: I have fortune from the many whereas if I miss with an attack or fail a saving throw I can gain a bonus to the role equal to the number of allies I can see up to three son of a bitch.
[UNKNOWN]: Wait, allies, you only [UNKNOWN]: Wow. [UNKNOWN]: Wow. [UNKNOWN]: Wow. [UNKNOWN]: Bounces. [UNKNOWN]: Out of your hands. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, hell. [UNKNOWN]: Charlie spins in the air on their wings, uh, quite literally growing. [UNKNOWN]: Uh-huh. [UNKNOWN]: And why it? [UNKNOWN]: You are out. [UNKNOWN]: Well, I's all right.
[UNKNOWN]: Good try. [UNKNOWN]: Good try. [UNKNOWN]: This is what you get for picking me. [UNKNOWN]: You're doing great, kid. [UNKNOWN]: Get on the bench. [UNKNOWN]: Wait for the next one. [UNKNOWN]: Ha ha ha. [UNKNOWN]: Gone, get. [UNKNOWN]: and that is Charlie's turn. [UNKNOWN]: Solomon, it is your turn.
[UNKNOWN]: Ooh, okay, I am going to pick up a ball, pass it to Hayden. [UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: And cast hypnotic pattern. [UNKNOWN]: Ooh, okay. [UNKNOWN]: which I'm so excited probably will never get another chance to cast this. [UNKNOWN]: You create a twisting pattern of colors that weaves through the air inside of a 30 foot cube within range.
[UNKNOWN]: So I'm basically going to just put it so that it affects like all three of the other of the opponent players, right? [UNKNOWN]: Ooh. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Geez, that's the whole court. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: It is. [UNKNOWN]: It's their whole side. [UNKNOWN]: It's exactly their whole side of the court.
[UNKNOWN]: Charlie was 30 feet up, right? [UNKNOWN]: Currently is from their movement. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Exactly 30 feet up. [UNKNOWN]: So it would hit. [UNKNOWN]: And it covers their entire court. [UNKNOWN]: Yep. [UNKNOWN]: So it's all basically like wraps their core in a like prismic sort of mess of briar so that it almost like the light is kind of like dappling in through these through these vines as it's kind of like casting weird shadows and making everything a little bit harder to see.
[UNKNOWN]: Each creature in the area has to make a wisdom save. [UNKNOWN]: The DC is 17 on a failed save. [UNKNOWN]: They become charmed and I'll tell you what happens if anything fail. [UNKNOWN]: Okay, Charlie first. [UNKNOWN]: Charlie saves. [UNKNOWN]: Okay, Earl's next. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, I'm kind of proud of them.
[UNKNOWN]: Yeah, Earl fails. [UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: Ooh, and Ricky's next. [UNKNOWN]: He can't be wise. [UNKNOWN]: Ricky fails. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: It was so close. [UNKNOWN]: It was like a 16. [UNKNOWN]: Yes, okay. [UNKNOWN]: So they are incapacitated and have a speed of zero. [UNKNOWN]: The spell ends if and for an effected creature if it takes any damage or if someone else uses an action to shake one of the creatures out of its super.
[UNKNOWN]: So basically if we hit them with a ball, the spell will end. [UNKNOWN]: Or if Charlie takes their action to shake them out of it. [UNKNOWN]: Okay, and they can make no movement. [UNKNOWN]: they cannot move and they are incapacitated. [UNKNOWN]: They can't take actions. [UNKNOWN]: Nope. [UNKNOWN]: You shouldn't let us get a night's sleep before this happens.
[UNKNOWN]: No, I shouldn't. [UNKNOWN]: I know. [UNKNOWN]: Okay, great. [UNKNOWN]: Anything else on your turn, dude? [UNKNOWN]: No, I use my object interaction in bonus action to pass the ball to Hayden. [UNKNOWN]: Great. [UNKNOWN]: Hayden, it is your turn. [UNKNOWN]: All right, I'm going to run over, use my object interaction to pick up the ball that hit white.
[UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: And then I'm going to [UNKNOWN]: Well, I'll be gonna throw a ball at Earl and see what happens. [UNKNOWN]: Earl is just standing there looking, looking around. [UNKNOWN]: He's a little dazed. [UNKNOWN]: That's an at 20. [UNKNOWN]: Sorry, Earl. [UNKNOWN]: Earl's out. [UNKNOWN]: Earl gets hit by the ball and he goes, wha- [UNKNOWN]: Or a letter better, more like girl, get better, am I right?
[UNKNOWN]: What? [UNKNOWN]: Why? [UNKNOWN]: Why? [UNKNOWN]: Ah, good, good play, darling. [UNKNOWN]: All right. [UNKNOWN]: Second throw is going for Ricky. [UNKNOWN]: Not the 24th. [UNKNOWN]: It hit Ricky. [UNKNOWN]: All right, Charlie is the only one left on their team. [UNKNOWN]: And with my bonus action, didn't even get to play.
[UNKNOWN]: And with your bonus action. [UNKNOWN]: With my bonus action, I'm going to summon the spirit of Daisy the Dyer, Dillow. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, gives us 10 page P, which doesn't really do anything for us, but also gives us Advantage on Strength checks and saves. [UNKNOWN]: That would have been nice.
[UNKNOWN]: Oh, 30 seconds ago. [UNKNOWN]: Yes, I was about to get smart dude Does the specter of Daisy an actual Daisy lock eyes for a moment? [UNKNOWN]: Daisy's in the crowd and looks at the specter of Daisy and they both just look at each other [UNKNOWN]: And it's like when a cat looks at themself in the mirror.
[UNKNOWN]: Is Laila is Laila over there? [UNKNOWN]: Is Laila said next to Quobas? [UNKNOWN]: Hmm, you don't know yet. [UNKNOWN]: You're in the middle of a game. [UNKNOWN]: All right, all right. [UNKNOWN]: Why don't you just drag the middle of a game? [UNKNOWN]: Mm-hmm. [UNKNOWN]: You can use your action to look.
[UNKNOWN]: No, I'm good. [UNKNOWN]: Action? [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Great. [UNKNOWN]: I will. [UNKNOWN]: Uh, time. [UNKNOWN]: That's my turn, I think. [UNKNOWN]: That's actually so fair why it can absolutely use this action. [UNKNOWN]: I've got to look. [UNKNOWN]: I think it's my turn. [UNKNOWN]: You know what?
[UNKNOWN]: You're sitting on the bench, you look over. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Are they smooching? [UNKNOWN]: No. [UNKNOWN]: They will not smooch today. [UNKNOWN]: No. [UNKNOWN]: Lyla is sitting there. [UNKNOWN]: Clovis is sitting next to her. [UNKNOWN]: Clovis looks very awkward. [UNKNOWN]: Hmm.
[UNKNOWN]: Lila seems to be invested in the game. [UNKNOWN]: All right. [UNKNOWN]: I cast Thamaturgy on them to shake the ground a little bit. [UNKNOWN]: a signature move for why I love that lila might be like a little competitive. [UNKNOWN]: Yes. [UNKNOWN]: Clovis scans over and blocks eyes with you Wyatt having the bench shaking under him.
[UNKNOWN]: Great. [UNKNOWN]: Top of the order is Charlie. [UNKNOWN]: Charlie is going to swoop down and pick up a ball that is on their side. [UNKNOWN]: They are going to fly back up into the air and then they are going to try and [UNKNOWN]: Can they bonus action dash? [UNKNOWN]: What do you mean? [UNKNOWN]: Because if they can't, they have to be on the ground.
[UNKNOWN]: Why do they have to be on the ground? [UNKNOWN]: Because they threw three there. [UNKNOWN]: What? [UNKNOWN]: That's the whole movement, just getting back to the ground to get a ball. [UNKNOWN]: Well that's fair. [UNKNOWN]: I mean, I guess they would have, okay. [UNKNOWN]: So let me amend my last statement.
[UNKNOWN]: They should be 15 feet in the air, not 30 feet. [UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: Because they took half their movement to get to the ball and half their movement to get up into the air. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, that's a great point. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Uh, okay. [UNKNOWN]: So they fly down grab a ball.
[UNKNOWN]: And since they have saved on this effect, they're good. [UNKNOWN]: Like they're immune to it. [UNKNOWN]: Yep, they're good. [UNKNOWN]: They're just good. [UNKNOWN]: Great. [UNKNOWN]: Hey, and roll to save. [UNKNOWN]: Even with the advantage from Daisy, I don't trust myself. [UNKNOWN]: So I'm gonna do decks.
[UNKNOWN]: That's fair. [UNKNOWN]: 21. [UNKNOWN]: The ball comes whizzing towards you at the last second. [UNKNOWN]: You move out of the way. [UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: Great. [UNKNOWN]: And Charlie is going to fly back 15 feet into the air. [UNKNOWN]: Yes. [UNKNOWN]: Mm-hmm.
[UNKNOWN]: Solomon, it is your turn. [UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: Casey, I have a question for you. [UNKNOWN]: Yes. [UNKNOWN]: Does Charlie have greater than or less than 29 hit points? [UNKNOWN]: I've already. [UNKNOWN]: I'm going to cast a spell and I'm going to cast it regardless of your answer to this question.
[UNKNOWN]: Power word kill. [UNKNOWN]: Yes, I'm casting a guitar player on Charlie, and if they have less than 29 hit points, they're dead. [UNKNOWN]: It feels like an ovary action. [UNKNOWN]: I don't care what ships have the habit of really spells. [UNKNOWN]: The game is over. [UNKNOWN]: This little fort needs to go down.
[UNKNOWN]: Solomon has been secretly anti-aricogra this whole time. [UNKNOWN]: So I gave you a dime and then all you spend it on was your life's work. [UNKNOWN]: He was a little shit. [UNKNOWN]: So it doesn't think birds are real. [UNKNOWN]: What how many I'm going to do? [UNKNOWN]: This is just it. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
[UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, what? [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, it's less than 12 years. [UNKNOWN]: It's less. [UNKNOWN]: It's less. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Okay, cool. [UNKNOWN]: So Charlie's flying. [UNKNOWN]: Solomon is going to cast sleep on Charlie and Charlie falls out of the sky. [UNKNOWN]: Wait, wait, doesn't that mean that they immediately wake up when they hit the ground?
[UNKNOWN]: I wonder how to present it, guys. [UNKNOWN]: I don't think I'm about that, but they're like, fuck that. [UNKNOWN]: Great, they, yeah, they just fall out of the sky. [UNKNOWN]: And as soon as they hit the ground, they wake up going, ah, sorry kid. [UNKNOWN]: That was kind of mean, Solomon. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, wasn't trying to be mean.
[UNKNOWN]: It's bombardment. [UNKNOWN]: Why, it, come on. [UNKNOWN]: Rub some dirt on it. [UNKNOWN]: And that is your turn. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, I believe so. [UNKNOWN]: I don't think I can do anything with my bonus action. [UNKNOWN]: Great, Hayden, it is your turn. [UNKNOWN]: Charlie is grounded. [UNKNOWN]: All right, sorry, kiddo, time to hit you with the ball.
[UNKNOWN]: Oh, I didn't have to be. [UNKNOWN]: That's an Ant-20. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, it's just... Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha [UNKNOWN]: We look at his portons in the audience right now.
[UNKNOWN]: Yes. [UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: You see, portons is in the front row. [UNKNOWN]: You see that after the Battle of Twin River, he has actually been using a cane ever since. [UNKNOWN]: So he sits in the front row now and he has been cheering on the whole game and as it [UNKNOWN]: How's the, how's the, how's the, how's the, how's the line and clove is looking?
[UNKNOWN]: Um, they talk a lot like like one person that doesn't know who the other person is and the other person is really nervous. [UNKNOWN]: I'm great. [UNKNOWN]: Okay, that tracks, you know, that classic chestnut and the announcer. [UNKNOWN]: says, uh, winner, the brand muffins. [UNKNOWN]: Wow, a meteoric rise.
[UNKNOWN]: That tasty. [UNKNOWN]: Woo. [UNKNOWN]: Ha ha ha. [UNKNOWN]: And you move on to the third round. [UNKNOWN]: Woo. [UNKNOWN]: The final round. [UNKNOWN]: The crowd is nervous and a buzz and anticipation. [UNKNOWN]: You walk out onto the court and look as three people walk out before you won. [UNKNOWN]: an older woman with her long-brown, brown gray hair in a braid.
[UNKNOWN]: Yeah! [UNKNOWN]: This is his bag, the late of fire! [UNKNOWN]: Ha ha ha ha, another a teenager with shaved head and a slightly haunted look behind his eye. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha [UNKNOWN]: a half-elven man who seems a little too serious for these proceedings.
[UNKNOWN]: Come on and be able to focus. [UNKNOWN]: I don't know how to do this. [UNKNOWN]: Hey Meg's come on, you come all the way out here with these two fellas to get your ass handed to you by your own knees. [UNKNOWN]: Maggie says, oh that's so funny. [UNKNOWN]: I've been playing this game since before you were born.
[UNKNOWN]: Oh, are out well. [UNKNOWN]: That's not hard, I'm 15. [UNKNOWN]: Rhett says, ah, ach, ach in cade, I hope you're, I hope you're doing your best mop impression because I'm gonna wipe the floor with you. [UNKNOWN]: You don't even knew who you were about a month ago. [UNKNOWN]: But I know I'll be at the end of this, a winner.
[UNKNOWN]: That'll be a first. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, that seemed a little low hidden. [UNKNOWN]: No, that's just how we talk. [UNKNOWN]: How do you, Mr. Contra? [UNKNOWN]: Good to see you again. [UNKNOWN]: Clive just says seems like you made up your mind about the whole three situation. [UNKNOWN]: That's good to hear Pleasure to see you again.
[UNKNOWN]: Oh great. [UNKNOWN]: I always formal. [UNKNOWN]: Heck live. [UNKNOWN]: Heck live. [UNKNOWN]: Young Master Wyatt. [UNKNOWN]: Hayden tries to have a full silent conversation with rat about Clive in these opening moments Just like eye contact and head gestures. [UNKNOWN]: Rats like [UNKNOWN]: What if if this were you if this were known or she would know she would understand I can cast one of these if you need to talk because silently Ooh you just gotta tell me what you want to say shit All right y'all I think we got to play some bombardment.
[UNKNOWN]: Let's go and You Get down to it. [UNKNOWN]: I Need you all to roll initiative Can't embarrass myself in front of my ants and my ants crush [UNKNOWN]: That's a four. [UNKNOWN]: Great, 15. [UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: That's a 22 for Hayden. [UNKNOWN]: The announcer says, for the final round, it will be the brand muffins versus the Bombadiers.
[UNKNOWN]: Oh, all right. [UNKNOWN]: Leave it to mags to come up with good team name. [UNKNOWN]: First, in the order, is rat. [UNKNOWN]: Mm-hmm, of course it is. [UNKNOWN]: Rat runs full sprint to the line, grabs a ball, back pedals, and then is going to use his ability to impose disadvantage, for the first turn in combat can impose disadvantage on anyone who [UNKNOWN]: Hmm, okay, so he points to you Hayden and says Hope you like the taste of dodgeball can cade and You need to roll a deck saving throw with this advantage as he still plus five the shocks it at you [UNKNOWN]: All right, here we go.
[UNKNOWN]: Don't knock me up before I even get a chance to make a move. [UNKNOWN]: I'm gonna run and flare to balance out the disadvantage. [UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: Ooh. [UNKNOWN]: So just flat roll now. [UNKNOWN]: All right, flat roll. [UNKNOWN]: How many more of those do you have? [UNKNOWN]: I've only used one.
[UNKNOWN]: Come on. [UNKNOWN]: Today. [UNKNOWN]: Today. [UNKNOWN]: Ah, it sucks. [UNKNOWN]: Ha ha ha ha. [UNKNOWN]: That is a 25, whoo, thank you for that plus 5, come on Kingcade and at the last second you dodge and Rat Oh, I'm sorry were you trying to we're trying to hit me with that it really wasn't clear [UNKNOWN]: Uh, no, I was trying to hit somebody behind you.
[UNKNOWN]: Oh, great. [UNKNOWN]: Don't worry about it. [UNKNOWN]: Then don't worry about it. [UNKNOWN]: It's all good. [UNKNOWN]: I have backwalls. [UNKNOWN]: Sure, likes the taste of dodgeball. [UNKNOWN]: Why it does the little look of the girl on the sunscreen, who the dog is like pulling her swimsuit.
[UNKNOWN]: Like, oh, it's a little finger on the mouth. [UNKNOWN]: Wait, sorry, I have a clear question, clarification question about rat's ability. [UNKNOWN]: Sure. [UNKNOWN]: Do we now have, if we go to attack him, do we also have disadvantage or is it just on the attack? [UNKNOWN]: You know what? [UNKNOWN]: Yes.
[UNKNOWN]: For the first turn, anything that has to do with with Brad has disadvantage. [UNKNOWN]: However, that nullifies after the first round. [UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: So Hayden is your turn. [UNKNOWN]: All right. [UNKNOWN]: Just to start off, I'm gonna bring back our good friend, Daisy, the Diadilot, to be right in the center of the ring for us.
[UNKNOWN]: It is Daisy. [UNKNOWN]: I don't say it's Daisy. [UNKNOWN]: I will run up and collect a ball just to have it ready to go, but I'm not gonna throw it this round. [UNKNOWN]: I am going to cast confusion on rat. [UNKNOWN]: Rat needs to make a wisdom saving throw. [UNKNOWN]: Does a 14 say, it does not.
[UNKNOWN]: No, okay, what happens? [UNKNOWN]: Rat is now confused and every turn has to roll the D 10. [UNKNOWN]: At the start of his turn to determine his behavior for that turn. [UNKNOWN]: I hate this, I love this, I love this, I love this, I love this, I love this, I love this, I love this, I love this, I love this, I love this, I love this, I love this, I love this, I love this, I love this, I love this, I love this, I love this, I love this, I love this, I love this, I love this, I love this, I love this, I love this, I love this, I love this, I love this, I love this, I love this, I love this, I love this, I love this, I love this, I love this, I love this, I love this, I love this, I love this, I love this, I love this, I love this, I love this, I love this, I love this, I love this, I love this, I love this, I love this, I love this, I love this, I love this, I love this, I love this, I love this
[UNKNOWN]: Okay, then in that case, I will go after Clive. [UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: I think Maggie's gonna be very wise. [UNKNOWN]: The thing is too. [UNKNOWN]: Clive is also very wise. [UNKNOWN]: I think Maggie and Clive might be the two of the Wiser characters we have. [UNKNOWN]: Well above a 20.
[UNKNOWN]: Okay, then just wrap. [UNKNOWN]: Just rat, rat is like, huh? [UNKNOWN]: What? [UNKNOWN]: Wait. [UNKNOWN]: Wait. [UNKNOWN]: Where am I? [UNKNOWN]: He starts reverting back to, like, church-controlled rat, because he's confused. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, God. [UNKNOWN]: No! [UNKNOWN]: It just runs out into the crowd.
[UNKNOWN]: Draws his words. [UNKNOWN]: Terminator runs. [UNKNOWN]: Great. [UNKNOWN]: Anything else on your turn, Hayden? [UNKNOWN]: That's all I can do. [UNKNOWN]: Great. [UNKNOWN]: Next in the order is Clive. [UNKNOWN]: Clive runs forward, grabs a ball. [UNKNOWN]: And I'm just a boy. [UNKNOWN]: I think he's going to go for Solomy.
[UNKNOWN]: All right. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, right at all. [UNKNOWN]: He looks at you Wyatt and says, not yet. [UNKNOWN]: Thanks. [UNKNOWN]: That's terrifying. [UNKNOWN]: That's a cool one. [UNKNOWN]: I like that. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, that's good. [UNKNOWN]: Uh, so I need you to roll a deck saving throw. [UNKNOWN]: Okay.
[UNKNOWN]: If you want to do a strength save, you do it with an advantage. [UNKNOWN]: Because of Daisy. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, if you want to try and catch it. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, I'm going to try to catch it. [UNKNOWN]: Can I use for a VivaFide to bring people back in? [UNKNOWN]: No. [UNKNOWN]: Absolutely won't.
[UNKNOWN]: No. [UNKNOWN]: A strength save. [UNKNOWN]: That is a 21. [UNKNOWN]: A 21 does not. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, [UNKNOWN]: Oh, I can't even play guys mags, damn it.
[UNKNOWN]: And Clive, Clive, like a warrior continues like he pays you no mind. [UNKNOWN]: He continues on, it was next target. [UNKNOWN]: All right, good shot, Mr. Castro. [UNKNOWN]: I go sit down next to Lila and Clovis and put an arm around both of them. [UNKNOWN]: Between the two of them. [UNKNOWN]: Yep.
[UNKNOWN]: That's the worst. [UNKNOWN]: It just will say wheezing right in. [UNKNOWN]: Lila looks over at you goes, oh, feel, feel kind of chummy, huh? [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, feel very chummy. [UNKNOWN]: How are y'all getting along? [UNKNOWN]: Well, yeah, I mean, I don't really have anyone to root for anymore.
[UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: No. [UNKNOWN]: No. [UNKNOWN]: No. [UNKNOWN]: No. [UNKNOWN]: No. [UNKNOWN]: No. [UNKNOWN]: No. [UNKNOWN]: No. [UNKNOWN]: No. [UNKNOWN]: No. [UNKNOWN]: No. [UNKNOWN]: No. [UNKNOWN]: No. [UNKNOWN]: No. [UNKNOWN]: No. [UNKNOWN]: No. [UNKNOWN]: No. [UNKNOWN]: No. [UNKNOWN]: No.
[UNKNOWN]: No. [UNKNOWN]: No. [UNKNOWN]: No. [UNKNOWN]: No. [UNKNOWN]: No. [UNKNOWN]: No. [UNKNOWN]: No. [UNKNOWN]: No. [UNKNOWN]: No. [UNKNOWN]: She's just Christ. [UNKNOWN]: Ah, clove his cheeks on his drink, clove his cheeks on his drink, clove his drink, clove his drink, clove his drink, clove his drink, clove his drink, clove his drink, clove his drink, clove his drink, clove his drink, clove his drink, clove his drink, clove his drink, clove his drink, clove his drink, clove his drink, clove his drink, clove his drink, clove his drink, clove his drink, clove his drink, clove his drink, clove his drink, clove his drink, clove his drink, clove his drink, clove his drink, clove his drink, clove his drink, clove his drink, clove his drink, clove his drink, clove his drink, clove his drink, clove his drink, clove his drink, clove his drink, clove his drink, clove his drink, clove his drink, clove his
[UNKNOWN]: Oh, why I think you need to take, I think you need to take out Mr. Cotra because he's going to demolish us. [UNKNOWN]: Um, yeah, I'm going to... [UNKNOWN]: Okay, so with my action at a fifth level, I'm going to cast blindness deafness on all three of them. [UNKNOWN]: Good choice. [UNKNOWN]: Okay.
[UNKNOWN]: So, they need to make a DC-17 consave. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, Con's a great save for this group. [UNKNOWN]: Con is a really solid save for these folks. [UNKNOWN]: I don't know about class, but they're so nimble. [UNKNOWN]: They're so good. [UNKNOWN]: So while they're doing this, Solomon, can you come to the front row and maybe hang out right on the edge of the sideline?
[UNKNOWN]: Sure, dear heart. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, I can do that. [UNKNOWN]: Let me just slide on over and I'll, and then I'm just gonna hang out in your five foot, 10 foot or a, so if you're close enough, [UNKNOWN]: It's an aura, that's half different all the time. [UNKNOWN]: I gotta ask you about that. [UNKNOWN]: Are these folks allowed to be in my stink still, if I'm out of the court?
[UNKNOWN]: No, you're out. [UNKNOWN]: No, you're an anti-magic field. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, you're pit around the dodgeball court. [UNKNOWN]: You're stink. [UNKNOWN]: You're stink evaporates, it's on our system. [UNKNOWN]: You can't keep them going after this. [UNKNOWN]: Sorry to your heart, I'm sitting over here with a line.
[UNKNOWN]: Can you love this? [UNKNOWN]: Can you love this? [UNKNOWN]: Oh! [UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: Clovis is staring daggers at you. [UNKNOWN]: I win, I win, I win, Canada. [UNKNOWN]: Ha ha ha. [UNKNOWN]: Great, that is... [UNKNOWN]: Uh, ho ho ho. [UNKNOWN]: Rat and Maggie both failed. [UNKNOWN]: Clive succeeded on a Nat 20.
[UNKNOWN]: Woo hoo hoo. [UNKNOWN]: Um. [UNKNOWN]: Okay, so what do they do they get to repeat the throw at the end of their turns? [UNKNOWN]: I will be blinding them not deafening them. [UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: And at the end of each of their turns they can make a new consave. [UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: For a minute, basically.
[UNKNOWN]: So. [UNKNOWN]: Cool. [UNKNOWN]: Rad is so confused. [UNKNOWN]: He's like, is it nighttime now? [UNKNOWN]: I'm so scared. [UNKNOWN]: Oh baby. [UNKNOWN]: Well, I'm the good [UNKNOWN]: I blinded them, go get them, and I'm gonna give Hayden the help action with spite. [UNKNOWN]: So once again, the net first time Hayden hits a target with an attack that target has disadvantage on their next attack.
[UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: And that's the end of your turn. [UNKNOWN]: Yep. [UNKNOWN]: Great. [UNKNOWN]: It is Maggie's turn. [UNKNOWN]: Maggie says, well, lights have gone out. [UNKNOWN]: Good thing I could still play this, pulls out like a little whistle, starts playing it. [UNKNOWN]: all three of the balls on your side.
[UNKNOWN]: You watch as one of them goes rolling away from you of its own accord. [UNKNOWN]: That's great. [UNKNOWN]: Wonders its way over to Clive and nestles at his feet. [UNKNOWN]: Ah, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha [UNKNOWN]: It lies it bad if I start rooting for her.
[UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: Lyses. [UNKNOWN]: Nah. [UNKNOWN]: Listen, a little inner party, a little inner party Contention never hurt anybody. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, I say that is someone who suffered some major inner party Contention a while back close as asshole just titans. [UNKNOWN]: Oh I'm rooting for everybody at this point and I mean everybody and that will be her turn top of the order is rat rat is blinded and confused rat needs to roll a detain.
[UNKNOWN]: He sure does What is an eight get me? [UNKNOWN]: The creature uses its action to make a melee attack against a randomly determined creature within its reach. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, just tries to create just tries to like clock a Maggie. [UNKNOWN]: Okay, how many people are left on the field? [UNKNOWN]: One, two, three, four.
[UNKNOWN]: So that's a D4. [UNKNOWN]: All right, so if it's a one, it's you Hayden. [UNKNOWN]: If it's a two, it's Clive. [UNKNOWN]: If it's a three, it's why it if it's a four, it's Maggie. [UNKNOWN]: Let's go. [UNKNOWN]: It's a one. [UNKNOWN]: He runs across the field to hit you and is immediately disqualified.
[UNKNOWN]: Hey, that's one way to do it. [UNKNOWN]: He says, I think you're over a decade, Kate. [UNKNOWN]: I'm gonna get you. [UNKNOWN]: Hey, runs across the line. [UNKNOWN]: The rough blows, the whistle, and rat is forcibly removed from the game. [UNKNOWN]: I immediately drop concentrations, so that the second he is disqualified, he realizes what he has done.
[UNKNOWN]: Ha ha ha ha. [UNKNOWN]: Immediately, like wakes up on the bench and goes, what, all right, oops, all right. [UNKNOWN]: Cool. [UNKNOWN]: All right, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. [UNKNOWN]: I'm season your cheese.
[UNKNOWN]: Rhett, Rhett sits down next to you saw me and goes, my cheese has been seized. [UNKNOWN]: It sure has good. [UNKNOWN]: No, you and me both. [UNKNOWN]: Next in the order is Hayden. [UNKNOWN]: All right, I'm gonna run over, grab one of the remaining balls on all side and make a couple of attacks.
[UNKNOWN]: Go for it. [UNKNOWN]: All right. [UNKNOWN]: Let's start with mags. [UNKNOWN]: What? [UNKNOWN]: Please. [UNKNOWN]: Y'all talking about me? [UNKNOWN]: With advantage, because she's blinded, and you have advantage. [UNKNOWN]: That's what subtle advantage. [UNKNOWN]: That sucks. [UNKNOWN]: I think it's just regular advantage.
[UNKNOWN]: I don't think it's double advantage. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, you don't. [UNKNOWN]: Do you want to use it on Clive, then? [UNKNOWN]: I will use it on Clive so that I can use the help action from Wyatt. [UNKNOWN]: That's a good point. [UNKNOWN]: That's an 18. [UNKNOWN]: Hmm. [UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: You're just gonna hit, I need you to roll a D4.
[UNKNOWN]: All right, roll in a D4. [UNKNOWN]: Two, great. [UNKNOWN]: Clive has a special ability in this game. [UNKNOWN]: So I'm going to have him roll a D4 as well. [UNKNOWN]: If he rolls a two or higher, that ball is coming right back at you. [UNKNOWN]: Ooh, okay. [UNKNOWN]: Live as a machine. [UNKNOWN]: You see him.
[UNKNOWN]: He swoops his arm down so quickly it creates a gust of wind. [UNKNOWN]: That is going to attempt to shield him from the ball. [UNKNOWN]: That is a three. [UNKNOWN]: Damn it. [UNKNOWN]: The ball is blown back toward you. [UNKNOWN]: I need you to make a deck save. [UNKNOWN]: All right. [UNKNOWN]: All right.
[UNKNOWN]: Come on, Hayden. [UNKNOWN]: 18. [UNKNOWN]: and you dodge at the last second and it goes sailing past you. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, now I'm going to go from eggs. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, maybe. [UNKNOWN]: So I have advantage on this one as well because she's blinded. [UNKNOWN]: Correct. [UNKNOWN]: 21. [UNKNOWN]: 21.
[UNKNOWN]: Oh, mags is going to try to make a strength save. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, the thing is, with her strength, she wouldn't be able to save. [UNKNOWN]: Like, if she would have to hit her 21 or higher, she is not going to be able to do that just because she's a bard. [UNKNOWN]: She gets in that 20. [UNKNOWN]: The ball hits her.
[UNKNOWN]: Oh, the ball bing hits her bounces off and she is out. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, all right. [UNKNOWN]: Good job, mags. [UNKNOWN]: She's escorted off the field her vision clears and she goes, all right, well played. [UNKNOWN]: Well played, your brain muffins. [UNKNOWN]: Come over here. [UNKNOWN]: We're having a party.
[UNKNOWN]: Uh, she smiles and sits down next to y'all and says, Clovis, I haven't seen you in a bit. [UNKNOWN]: How are you doing? [UNKNOWN]: And Clovis says, Hi, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, [UNKNOWN]: Clive is going to pick up the ball that is at his feet.
[UNKNOWN]: He exhales, and then throws the ball at, he's going to throw the ball at you Hayden. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, he is. [UNKNOWN]: I need you to make a deck save. [UNKNOWN]: 15. [UNKNOWN]: The ball bing hits you off the shoulder. [UNKNOWN]: and Clive breathes out and then his attention focuses on you Wyatt.
[UNKNOWN]: It was an odd and a privilege. [UNKNOWN]: He just fully nods without breaking eye contact with Wyatt. [UNKNOWN]: It is just a part two of Wyatt becomes a man fight with Clive. [UNKNOWN]: So you wanted to come back for round two, did you? [UNKNOWN]: He smiles and says, [UNKNOWN]: I don't think so.
[UNKNOWN]: Though I see you remembered your training. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, we did use our private dodgeball court a lot when I was back home. [UNKNOWN]: They have their own court. [UNKNOWN]: Great, that is the end of Clive's turn, why it is your turn. [UNKNOWN]: There are two balls on your side and one on Clive's side.
[UNKNOWN]: Why it's going to go and pick up one of the balls? [UNKNOWN]: And for the first time in this tournament is [UNKNOWN]: I'm gonna just chuck it at Clive. [UNKNOWN]: Go for it. [UNKNOWN]: Come on, kid. [UNKNOWN]: Roll an attack through. [UNKNOWN]: A ranged attack throw. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: That's a dance, 20.
[UNKNOWN]: Woo! [UNKNOWN]: Woo! [UNKNOWN]: Woo! [UNKNOWN]: Woo! [UNKNOWN]: Holy shit! [UNKNOWN]: Whoa, I mean, that's the heat. [UNKNOWN]: On the heat dice. [UNKNOWN]: That hits. [UNKNOWN]: This die is spicy. [UNKNOWN]: This is the one they killed. [UNKNOWN]: It killed snow. [UNKNOWN]: This is the one that killed snow.
[UNKNOWN]: I, however, need you to roll a D4. [UNKNOWN]: Oh my god. [UNKNOWN]: Get a four. [UNKNOWN]: You gotta get a four. [UNKNOWN]: Come on. [UNKNOWN]: You gotta get a four. [UNKNOWN]: That's a three? [UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: 50, 50. [UNKNOWN]: On a two. [UNKNOWN]: Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes
[UNKNOWN]: Oh, and the announcer says, winner, the brand muffins. [UNKNOWN]: The brand muffins for everyone, maybe not. [UNKNOWN]: All right, bench group hug, and then just pull everybody together on the bench. [UNKNOWN]: Yeah, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, [UNKNOWN]: Pulls Lala and Q a little close for winning you are brought up onto a kind of a makeshift pedestal as if this was put together pretty quickly and the announcer says for your win you receive 200 gold medals for each of you
[UNKNOWN]: and a year supply of coffee from the big bun. [UNKNOWN]: Nooo! [UNKNOWN]: Oh, how do we all have some fish in the last one? [UNKNOWN]: I think we're gonna do it again. [UNKNOWN]: I think we make it again. [UNKNOWN]: We make it again, please. [UNKNOWN]: Don't you? [UNKNOWN]: Yeah. [UNKNOWN]: An answer, it's sort of like a side steal and says, I mean, you can make it whatever you want.
[UNKNOWN]: It's your coffee. [UNKNOWN]: I move solemnly out of the way. [UNKNOWN]: It's you may I'll take care of the coffee pot. [UNKNOWN]: Do you just don't even listen to her? [UNKNOWN]: He pushes aside men's and 200 gold to take the coffee. [UNKNOWN]: He's your take care of her. [UNKNOWN]: Okay. [UNKNOWN]: Great, and you all celebrate at the wet rat.
[UNKNOWN]: It is a joyous time. [UNKNOWN]: The town is feeling a buzz from the tournament. [UNKNOWN]: The town hasn't felt this way in a long time. [UNKNOWN]: It is joyous. [UNKNOWN]: It is raucous. [UNKNOWN]: It is, it harkens back to the early days when you first arrived in Twin River. [UNKNOWN]: Those Thursday nights where the wet rat was packed to the brim and you see Clovis pulls out is Thursday night head and is Thursday night bed.
[UNKNOWN]: It's a bit stumbling out there, bro. [UNKNOWN]: Everyone is just having a good time. [UNKNOWN]: Not thinking about tomorrow, not thinking about the war, just enjoying the company that we have now. [UNKNOWN]: Far away from here. [UNKNOWN]: It's a sleepy night in the little town of Gladhaven.
[UNKNOWN]: A sign reading the salty mut, [UNKNOWN]: Behind the bat-wing doors, a dragon-born man wipes down the counter, while an older, total woman doses at a corner table, still clutching a half-finished pint. [UNKNOWN]: The bar keeps eyes, then calls out, Darlene, he clears his throat and tries again.
[UNKNOWN]: Darlene, she stirs, furrowing her brow. [UNKNOWN]: She whimperes and lays her head back down. [UNKNOWN]: That's not my home. [UNKNOWN]: Not anymore. [UNKNOWN]: Not without her. [UNKNOWN]: Silence. [UNKNOWN]: Then the barkeep walks over to her. [UNKNOWN]: He squats beside her and says, it's, uh, it's a hell of a thing.
[UNKNOWN]: Look, uh, Gretchen and I have talked about it and, uh, why don't you stay with us for a few days? [UNKNOWN]: We think it'd be good for you to be around folks right now, and you know our little Charlie loves guests. [UNKNOWN]: That boy would be over the moon and stars above to teach you how to skip stones.
[UNKNOWN]: Darling sniffles then let's add a chuckle. [UNKNOWN]: She thinks about it. [UNKNOWN]: Outside, the wind begins to pick up, stirring the hanging sign. [UNKNOWN]: The flapping jerky motions give the swimming dog in the barrel under the sign's lettering and eerie quality, as if the dog were paddling for its life.
[UNKNOWN]: Suddenly, the pubs batwing doors slam open, and a small, deep, no-mish man enters. [UNKNOWN]: Yes, that one. [UNKNOWN]: He looks terrible. [UNKNOWN]: His hair is matted, clothes torn, his skin is swollen, clinging to the bones beneath, and the smell God's above is pungent. [UNKNOWN]: The barkeep grimaces then says, Hey buddy, we're close for the night.
[UNKNOWN]: I just wrapped up shop. [UNKNOWN]: The gnome strolls into the bar hopping onto a stool. [UNKNOWN]: Heh, it's funny. [UNKNOWN]: Seems to me, like you still got a patron there, Clint. [UNKNOWN]: So why don't you fetch me a drink while she finishes? [UNKNOWN]: After all, it's a long, dusty trail into the big city, a partner?
[UNKNOWN]: Clint frowns. [UNKNOWN]: You sure seem to know me, stranger. [UNKNOWN]: Do I know you? [UNKNOWN]: Then it clicks. [UNKNOWN]: Wait. [UNKNOWN]: You're in that show a while back. [UNKNOWN]: The, the potion show, Eliot's through, something like that. [UNKNOWN]: That old lady did a hell of a back flip.
[UNKNOWN]: Your blonde friend, healed my rash. [UNKNOWN]: You points to his forearm. [UNKNOWN]: The gnome turns, eyes bright. [UNKNOWN]: That's right. [UNKNOWN]: We healed you little town friend. [UNKNOWN]: But he lends just a, just a bandit. [UNKNOWN]: Rashes regrow in there, right? [UNKNOWN]: Poxes don't just grow away, and people as I shift to darling.
[UNKNOWN]: Well, they do go away, don't they? [UNKNOWN]: Darling's slumps and our seat and begins to cry softly. [UNKNOWN]: But what if they were always waiting for you when you came home? [UNKNOWN]: What if you never ever had to say goodbye? [UNKNOWN]: Clench shifts his gaze to darling, then back to the gnome, his eyes narrowing.
[UNKNOWN]: Listen, buddy. [UNKNOWN]: We appreciated your show, but I said we're closed. [UNKNOWN]: And personally, I ain't keen on people upsetting my friends. [UNKNOWN]: the gnome is suddenly at his side. [UNKNOWN]: Hey, hey, I had to hatch it on, though. [UNKNOWN]: I'm just giving the old sales pitch, he's all.
[UNKNOWN]: But hey, a salesman without a free sample is like a delby without his bone. [UNKNOWN]: At the, he quick as a flash turns and touches Darlene's forehead with two fingers. [UNKNOWN]: Bam. [UNKNOWN]: At the touch, she bolts up right in her seat gasping. [UNKNOWN]: Her eyes roll back clouding and turning red.
[UNKNOWN]: Tears form at the corners as she twitches and rasps. [UNKNOWN]: Clint Rear's back, what did you do? [UNKNOWN]: What the hell did you just do? [UNKNOWN]: The known blows smoke from his fingertips, easy text, I just gave her a little spoonful of sugar. [UNKNOWN]: She'll be fine, probably. [UNKNOWN]: Clint grabs him.
[UNKNOWN]: No, you're done you little freak. [UNKNOWN]: I don't know what you did, but I'm gonna turn you over to the sheriff. [UNKNOWN]: The known punches Clint, in the gut, sharply, hard. [UNKNOWN]: a deep red light flashes from within the gnome's shirt. [UNKNOWN]: Plant flinches, then looks down. [UNKNOWN]: Heh, not much power behind that punch, little guy.
[UNKNOWN]: He chuckles. [UNKNOWN]: I didn't feel that at all. [UNKNOWN]: And now, I'm gonna, he's interrupted by a blood curdling scream, echoing down the sleepy glad haven't thoroughfair. [UNKNOWN]: Oh, gods! [UNKNOWN]: Gretchen? [UNKNOWN]: He runs from the bar into the night. [UNKNOWN]: Gretchen? [UNKNOWN]: The battling doors swing lazily closed behind him.
[UNKNOWN]: The gnome heads over to the bar and pours himself a drink. [UNKNOWN]: Darlin's body rides in her seat, her mind elsewhere, beer trickles to the floor from the spilt pint. [UNKNOWN]: The gnome knocks back a shot of half-eye whiskey, shrugs, then downs the whole bottle. [UNKNOWN]: He smashes it on the bar, whistling to himself.
[UNKNOWN]: Outside, more screams pierce the night, and that is where we'll pick up next time. [UNKNOWN]: Thank you so much for listening to another episode of May Chan High Five, the Badlands.
