[SPEAKER_03]: I'm Commander Shepherd, and this is my favorite lorecast on the Citadel. [SPEAKER_04]: Welcome to the Mass Effect lorecast. [SPEAKER_04]: I'm in seven the legend. [SPEAKER_09]: And I'm Genesis. [SPEAKER_09]: Join us. [SPEAKER_04]: As we explore along tides of light. [SPEAKER_04]: And through sholes of dust.

[SPEAKER_04]: To see where this lore began. [SPEAKER_09]: And consider where it may go. [SPEAKER_04]: Specters, welcome back to another exciting week of the Mass Effect Lorecast. [SPEAKER_04]: I'm your host in seven the legend. [SPEAKER_04]: Joining me as always is Genesis. [SPEAKER_04]: Genesis, how's it going?

[SPEAKER_09]: Today's been really, really good. [SPEAKER_09]: I went to a run fair earlier than I got to talk with people about cyberpunk. [SPEAKER_09]: Now I'm here talking about mass effect and after this, I'm headed for some karaoke. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh my gosh, that is a long, long day. [SPEAKER_04]: Wow, you're gonna be more tired than I am.

[SPEAKER_04]: And joining us today are our lovely patrons because it is the end of June at twenty twenty five. [SPEAKER_04]: We're gonna be discussing what TV show. [SPEAKER_04]: uh... what they mass factory show should be like in at least the first couple seasons should it actually ever arrive so a lot of this is of course can be speculation actually all speculation but uh... need i-digress we have uh... three of our patrons here with us today of red trobat how's it how are you doing all right and Andrew go to see you again and and boy how are you [SPEAKER_04]: Good.

[SPEAKER_04]: How are you? [SPEAKER_04]: Perfect. [SPEAKER_04]: Tired. [SPEAKER_04]: Very, very tired. [SPEAKER_04]: My son didn't sleep well last night in order to die. [SPEAKER_04]: But let's go ahead and start this off. [SPEAKER_04]: I think Genesis, I'll probably like hop in toward the end of the first half with my thoughts on where I'd like the TV show to go.

[SPEAKER_04]: And then you want to if you want to save yours for the variant. [SPEAKER_09]: That works for me. [SPEAKER_04]: So I'll go ahead and go around in a clockwise order from my screen, starting with you, Retrobot, that we're here today to talk about, you know, where we would want this Mass Effect TV show to go what should it cover and most importantly, how should it cover it.

[SPEAKER_04]: If you were in charge, how would you direct the TV show? [SPEAKER_07]: See, if I'm directing, I'd first want the show to be like really accessible to people who don't know the series because I feel like they could easily just go in there do some like big first contact war and just a bunch of like, yeah, I got a lot of background knowledge about that.

[SPEAKER_07]: I figure if they're looking more to get new people investing to the series and finding games and do some kind of sitcom like I spent being like a parks and wreck. [SPEAKER_07]: sort of sick com that's about like the embassies on the citadel. [SPEAKER_07]: Like all the all the embassies on the citadel that don't have a chair on the actual accounts.

[SPEAKER_07]: So I'd be like that old car and other people like that, the bathing stuff about parks and like minor shit on the fuggins that I know. [SPEAKER_04]: That would be amazing. [SPEAKER_04]: I never even considered making it more of a sitcom kind of feel with, you know, the stakes being quite low, but that would make it widely accessible, you know, a mass effect version of the office, if you will.

[SPEAKER_04]: All right, allow one to open this up to the rest of the patrons. [SPEAKER_04]: What do you guys think Andrew and Ed Boy would you watch a mass effect version of Parks and Rec or the office? [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I think I'd watch that. [SPEAKER_05]: I'm just imagining, like, kind of place like different characters.

[SPEAKER_05]: So I'm like, who's the Ron Swanson that would pull it all together? [SPEAKER_05]: Like who's the person that's just like I hate my job? [SPEAKER_05]: I feel like it would be a bolus somehow that would just feel like I hate me here, but this is my job. [SPEAKER_08]: I was the best host name, like didn't.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: There could be like a grand reveal at the end of the season where he takes off his armor. [SPEAKER_04]: And you get to see what a Vola's with no armor looks like. [SPEAKER_04]: And then you vomit. [SPEAKER_04]: Anyway. [SPEAKER_04]: about walk me through a little bit more of the setting in which you can imagine this taking place.

[SPEAKER_04]: You know, I got it that you think would be good to make it like a low stakes kind of sitcom-esque thing, but tell me more about, you know, are we talking about on the Citadel or are we talking about on Earth or one of the alien home planets or maybe in the terminus systems? [SPEAKER_07]: I think it's going to be on the Citadel because Citadel really is kind of your first [SPEAKER_07]: Jumping off point from me and all the different races in Mass Effect.

[SPEAKER_07]: So it just gives people who are just looking into the show and have never played any of the games or read any of the books and opportunity to understand. [SPEAKER_07]: Oh, this is kind of what's going on. [SPEAKER_07]: And like these are the kind of people that exist in this universe, whatever, so it can be like them dealing with.

[SPEAKER_07]: people coming in with compliance and stuff like, oh, this guy ripped me off on this biotic amp or whatever, just like a lot of rank of complaints and stuff like that. [SPEAKER_04]: Sure, maybe that's how the guys toaster refund finally goes through. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: All right.

[SPEAKER_04]: Um, you, Con, I see that you've joined us. [SPEAKER_04]: Thank you. [SPEAKER_04]: And how are you doing? [SPEAKER_06]: doing well. [SPEAKER_06]: Sorry, I just had to sort through bed time, feeding the dogs, getting them outside. [SPEAKER_06]: Everything comes to kind of a completion at this time of day.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, when it rains, it pours. [SPEAKER_04]: I totally get it. [SPEAKER_04]: So before we move on, Redrabot here had said that he imagines a sitcom kind of TV show because it would make the lore of the Mass Effect universe, which, objectively, in my opinion, is kind of nerdy. [SPEAKER_04]: making it widely accessible.

[SPEAKER_04]: What do you think about a mass-effect version of like parks and rack were the office? [SPEAKER_06]: So I was just catching like the tail end, the wrap-up of that, and the first thing that came to mind was actually sign-filled. [SPEAKER_06]: It's a show about nothing, right? [SPEAKER_06]: So you don't need to see previous episodes of sign-filled for this episode to make sense, because although they might dip into or do callbacks to other stuff, [SPEAKER_06]: It really is just an episode specifically about that episode that day.

[SPEAKER_06]: And within the lore of science, though, they even tried to create a science-filled sitcom inside the sitcom. [SPEAKER_06]: So something to that effect would be approachable for anybody. [SPEAKER_06]: And like Retrobot was saying, especially for people who aren't familiar with the lore or the characters that exist already.

[SPEAKER_06]: It doesn't really matter in a show format like that. [SPEAKER_04]: I would love to hear a Mass Effect themed sign-filled-esque intro song and cutaway music. [SPEAKER_04]: That would be amazing. [SPEAKER_04]: All right. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, I would love to see something along those lines.

[SPEAKER_04]: Maybe Blasto can make an appearance every now and then to be a foil. [SPEAKER_04]: All right. [SPEAKER_04]: Any other thoughts on the Mass Effect sitcom before we move on? [SPEAKER_09]: I think it definitely would have to be set in a time frame where humans have made it to the citadel because we kind of have to be the focus in order for it to be a law approachable because if we are basing it off of a volus ambassador only that's not a very good introduction because we humans need at least something to relate it back to human.

[SPEAKER_09]: and having it be the human ambassador, maybe not Odina, because forget him, but like an ambassador before that and how they are navigating being on the citadel. [SPEAKER_04]: So you would still approach it with the same kind of human POV that we get through the original trilogy? [SPEAKER_09]: I think how a human would navigate through working with the different races on the citadel and how many hilarious hijinks that can come up with, yeah, I think I'd go with that.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, yeah, there could certainly be a lot of misunderstandings with humans being still relatively new to this at a lot of faux paws, a lot of miscuses. [SPEAKER_04]: All right, well, awesome. [SPEAKER_04]: Love that idea, Retrobot Andrew. [SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to you next. [SPEAKER_04]: What kind of TV show do you think it should be, at least for the first couple of seasons?

[SPEAKER_04]: How would you handle it if you were in charge? [SPEAKER_05]: So I was thinking about one of the things that seems to be really popular right now. [SPEAKER_05]: It seems to be hitting hard. [SPEAKER_05]: Our sort of more like in the trenches, gritty, like I'm thinking like Andorra for example, like and I was thinking about that combined with, you know, like the original walking dead was like insanely popular.

[SPEAKER_05]: And so I was, you know, one of the pieces that I think we miss in the games a lot. [SPEAKER_05]: is what happened on Earth while we're flying around in Mass Effect Three. [SPEAKER_05]: It feels like, you know, Anderson stays behind organizing this resistance, but we never really get to hear about it.

[SPEAKER_05]: So I think, you know, there's kind of this fusion of sort of a walking dead, right, with sort of the zombie effect that you get from the Reapers, creating husks and things. [SPEAKER_05]: But then you kind of fuse it with sort of that gritty reality of like what's actually going on That would be really interesting to turn into a TV show because you get to unpack You know some of the logistics challenge that Anderson's going to face just finding people talking to people building alliances like [SPEAKER_05]: getting out of London, you know, what does that look like?

[SPEAKER_05]: And it would also give you the ability you could do. [SPEAKER_05]: Like I know that it was budgetary reasons that the Walking Dead got stuck on the farm, but, you know, spoiler, if you haven't seen the Walking Dead. [SPEAKER_05]: But, you know, you could get suck in one city for like an entire season and just see what is it like just day-to-day in a city or you could spend a season where it's just [SPEAKER_05]: breakneck like doing like like an episode of twenty four rushing from place to place just trying to counter you know people being kidnapped or getting you know evacuations or things like that.

[SPEAKER_05]: So I was thinking about something long on those lines. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, that would definitely be really heavy watching Anderson try and protect the civilians who aren't capable of fighting to like, you know, if they're small children or elderly people there. [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, wow, that would be really devastating.

[SPEAKER_04]: I can just imagine some of the scenes. [SPEAKER_04]: ripping out your heart and stopping on them. [SPEAKER_04]: And so that would be during Mass Effect three. [SPEAKER_04]: Do you think that there would be any value in even mentioning Shepherd during this? [SPEAKER_04]: Or is this kind of a way to sidestep without having to mention Shepherd's choices and canonize any one of them?

[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I think that's why I like the idea. [SPEAKER_05]: I think it sidesteps it because you, because it's not in the game. [SPEAKER_05]: We don't know what's happening. [SPEAKER_05]: We only get briefed updates from Anderson. [SPEAKER_05]: So it doesn't really, you're not stepping on anyone's toes unless they've written some kind of a fanfic about doing what's going on on Earth.

[SPEAKER_05]: So I think it would give that opportunity to expand. [SPEAKER_05]: But if you're not familiar with Mass Effect, it might also be a way to kind of be like, man, some heavy stuff going on. [SPEAKER_05]: Like how did we get here? [SPEAKER_05]: and maybe that would, you know, you'd be like, okay, I want to know how we got to this place of the first place.

[SPEAKER_05]: Like, because I think that was my biggest frustration watching the walking dead. [SPEAKER_05]: Like, I wanted to know how did it start, right? [SPEAKER_05]: And you get like flashbacks so that maybe that would give people to want to play the game or to check out the lower cast or you know, whatever would be to figure out, like, how did we end up in this awful predicament of the first place?

[SPEAKER_04]: That's awesome. [SPEAKER_04]: I want to open this up for anyone else to comment on this specifically about having a gritty Mass Effect three timeline story of what was going on on earth. [SPEAKER_04]: What do you guys think? [SPEAKER_06]: I actually thought that that was a great option for what the next game might be.

[SPEAKER_06]: So I can't imagine, you know, obviously as much as we would like to, I can't imagine them being able to continue another game after this game that hopefully they even get a chance to finish. [SPEAKER_06]: So I felt like it didn't need to be a setup for another trilogy or even another two-part series.

[SPEAKER_06]: So when I was thinking of what the next game should be, I thought that was actually a great storyline for that game. [SPEAKER_06]: So if we never get that game, I would definitely watch it as a TV series instead for short. [SPEAKER_04]: And I can imagine as this kind of TV series, it would carry with it a certain level of gravitas like Rogue One did where you kind of knew going into it a little bit that this wasn't going to have a happy ending.

[SPEAKER_06]: And that's okay though, right? [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, absolutely. [SPEAKER_04]: Ed boy, what did you have in mind? [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, that'd be interesting because we never [SPEAKER_08]: I feel like they've actually see the true horrifying extent of the reef offs. [SPEAKER_08]: We don't really see how they turn people into husk and all that.

[SPEAKER_08]: We don't really get that much of a point of view from just a regular pass on the ground during a reef on vision. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, we get very minimal slices of it, you know, beginning of Mass Effect one with the Dragon's teeth. [SPEAKER_04]: Is that what they're called? [SPEAKER_04]: Dragon's teeth, I think.

[SPEAKER_04]: So I go through the people and then they just, you know, over time magically become robots zombie. [SPEAKER_04]: And then we get the highly cinematic stuff at the end of Mass Effect three with the husks rushing alliance troops. [SPEAKER_04]: I wish we got more of those kind of cutscenes, honestly.

[SPEAKER_04]: Uh, but yeah, this TV series that we're talking about now would be an excellent opportunity for that. [SPEAKER_04]: Retro about what did you think about this idea? [SPEAKER_07]: Uh, I think it's a pretty good idea. [SPEAKER_07]: I'll speak for if you have flashbacks and flashbacks and probably more about kind of the shortcomings when he was more with the Alliance like back to when he was in the running to become a specter.

[SPEAKER_07]: Or more, the focus heavily on how Anderson tried to always stay like really square the way of how he treated himself military before he was like fucking I'm staying here. [SPEAKER_07]: But then also at the same time, I was just thinking as soon as he said like zombies or whatever, I was just thinking Sean the dead versus the hospital, whatever, just like some normal dude who's in London.

[SPEAKER_04]: He's doing what's the husks? [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I think this would be another good opportunity for us to learn more about Anderson's own life that happens that's talked about a little bit off-screen. [SPEAKER_04]: They'd be really cool to see those flashbacks with him and Sanders. [SPEAKER_04]: Genesis, what do you think of a gritty Mass Effect Three kind of [SPEAKER_04]: I don't know, and not a space opera, but like a, I guess a drama.

[SPEAKER_09]: I feel the drama for it and I really like this idea because it brings the human level aspect to it. [SPEAKER_09]: We also know that there probably would be other races that we could slowly get introduced to making it approachable for new viewers and people who aren't with the lore and making it so that way we are tied into this story.

[SPEAKER_09]: There's a draw for the masses, the masses, to be able to watch this and still feel like they can relate to it. [SPEAKER_09]: Because, yeah, a zombie apocalypse, we've all seen a show like that, but this brings it to a completely different level with the added level of aliens. [SPEAKER_09]: And why somebody's trying to take over.

[SPEAKER_04]: It would, I can imagine it feeling a lot like war of the worlds, you know? [SPEAKER_04]: War of the world meets like, you know, some kind of period piece or movie about their resistance and in France to the Nazi occupation. [SPEAKER_04]: That would be, I think that would be a pretty compelling TV series.

[SPEAKER_04]: I would almost say that something like that has to be a limited series, like, [SPEAKER_04]: only like six or eight episodes you know because otherwise it gets so drawn out and then you don't care um but yeah all right any of the thoughts on this like a really gritty war drama massfic three on earth alright well i have my own idea that i want to throw in here before we go to the midbrake so my idea for massfic tv show and this is not going to really surprise anybody i think is [SPEAKER_04]: Imagine we get a TV series limited limited series following Emily Wong around as she investigates corruption on the citadel.

[SPEAKER_04]: And as she's pulling the threads that lead her to one story and one story to another story, of course, she's putting herself in danger, right? [SPEAKER_04]: But then she's also realizing that the highest tiers of human government are corrupt. [SPEAKER_04]: And she's finding weird connections between service and the human ambassador's office.

[SPEAKER_04]: And so I think there could be a really cool way to tie in Cerberus to Udina this way and have Emily Wong there as well. [SPEAKER_04]: And maybe this would explain a little bit of why Emily Wong kind of falls off the map for us after Mass Effect One. [SPEAKER_09]: I like this a lot. [SPEAKER_09]: But I think we'll open it up to the other people.

[SPEAKER_09]: The patrons first see if you guys have thoughts on this one. [SPEAKER_08]: I like it. [SPEAKER_08]: That's just like a little mistake for the mystery like that. [SPEAKER_08]: It's really something we gotten before, but then like Shadowbroker. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, yeah, there wasn't, yeah, much of the DLCs did not contain a lot of intrigue.

[SPEAKER_04]: You know, of course, a TV series like this would not be nearly as action heavy, right? [SPEAKER_04]: As like a war drama. [SPEAKER_04]: And so it'd be a completely kind of different psychological drama thriller where [SPEAKER_04]: I, of course, like the idea, but maybe, I don't know what you guys think, do you think that this one would be a little bit too niche for wider audiences to get on board with Mass Effect?

[SPEAKER_04]: Because if they were just interested in some kind of, you know, journalists expose a story, they're watching it, and then they go, who's the Birdman? [SPEAKER_09]: Well, I think that you can't just start off with, let's go invest the human investigating humans and not involve the aliens around it.

[SPEAKER_09]: I think that if the story started off with, you know, introducing us to all the different species that we do see on the Citadel and then eventually uncovering this idea of there being a secret organization working within the Citadel because, you know, we would assume that Emily's talking to Adina quite often.

[SPEAKER_09]: And it would be, it could be throwing her off the trail, making her go investigate the bullish issue and a theory and issue, and then slowly she's uncovering all this stuff that leads us back to our actual hidden big bad guy. [SPEAKER_09]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_09]: No, I think I think it definitely could work out.

[SPEAKER_09]: Anyway, yeah. [SPEAKER_06]: Can we put a little spin on that? [SPEAKER_06]: Can we put Emily Wong in a fedora, a trench coat, make this a black and white noir? [SPEAKER_04]: There we go. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, the film noir. [SPEAKER_04]: As long as she has to adopt a transatlantic accent, right?

[SPEAKER_04]: And she's constantly smoking a freshly lit cigarette. [SPEAKER_09]: Make it very Nick Valentine. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, yeah, very Nick Valentine. [SPEAKER_04]: And yeah, what what is up with that in Hollywood? [SPEAKER_04]: There's always freshly lit cigarettes. [SPEAKER_04]: No matter how long they've been smoking at this scene.

[SPEAKER_04]: All right. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, any other thoughts on that one before we go to the midbrake? [SPEAKER_07]: I was just thinking, I just thought I was thinking of like space watergate or something like a big country like that documentary of those movies. [SPEAKER_07]: It's like [SPEAKER_07]: She's got to meet someone in like some space parking garage.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, exactly. [SPEAKER_04]: And that's kind of where I got the inspiration because I was thinking about all the presidents men and how much of an impact that had on me when I watched it and read about Woodward and Bernstein when I was younger. [SPEAKER_04]: So anyway, that's just one idea.

[SPEAKER_04]: And I love the fact that we've had three very separate, very different ideas so far. [SPEAKER_04]: Now, we're going to go to the midbrake, but when we come back, we get to hear from our other two patrons and you, Genesis. [SPEAKER_04]: So, all right, here we go. [SPEAKER_01]: We have the bacon, we have beer, the foods of my people.

[SPEAKER_00]: Young men have funny ideas of what a story are like. [SPEAKER_00]: I blame the extra net and computer games. [SPEAKER_03]: Rex, shepherd, grunt, shepherd, Rex. [SPEAKER_04]: Alright, and here we are in the middle of the show, where typically we would read out your five star reviews. [SPEAKER_04]: We don't have any new ones this week, and I don't want to take up too much time since we are joined by our patrons here.

[SPEAKER_04]: But if you want to leave a review, you can do so on Apple or Onable, and leave a five star review, we'll read it out here in the middle of the show. [SPEAKER_04]: And we're also checking the comments on our most recent Spotify episode, so you can leave some comments there as well. [SPEAKER_04]: But we have to, of course, shout-outs are to your five patrons, Ed Boy, Kira C, Lieutenant Hussino, Reddrobot, and Superfly Force Forty, and Unfin-Unfortunate Benefactor, and William.

[SPEAKER_04]: Thank you all for your continued support. [SPEAKER_04]: And also the final month, [SPEAKER_04]: of our reaper tier patron commander, shrinking ship. [SPEAKER_04]: Thank you as well. [SPEAKER_04]: All right, and with that, why don't we go back to the rest of the show because I am eager to hear more about these TV show ideas.

[SPEAKER_02]: After time adrift among open stars, alongside the light and through shows of dust, I will return to where I began. [SPEAKER_01]: Celery and reproduction different, very little sex drive. [SPEAKER_01]: If intended to try human, would try you. [SPEAKER_01]: Ow, my bakeries. [SPEAKER_04]: All right, and we are back.

[SPEAKER_04]: Ed boy, what were you thinking of in terms of a TV show for Mass Effect, if and when it comes out? [SPEAKER_08]: Honestly, something kind of like the expanse. [SPEAKER_08]: Maybe have a startup, like maybe have it followed like three different characters like [SPEAKER_08]: Anderson and Lucifman, I don't know a person, but how does be about like the early days of humanity entering the galaxy?

[SPEAKER_08]: So like the first contact role and the founding of soberists and all that? [SPEAKER_04]: That could be a really cool storytelling technique. [SPEAKER_04]: It reminds me of this movie from a while ago called Vantage Point, where the entire movie was told through different people's point of view of all of it leading to the same incident.

[SPEAKER_04]: and so with that incident obviously you can have it be something related to the first contact war or perhaps when the elusive man does get indoctrinated after first touching the artifact through his friend bin that could be really cool so alright i would i would love to see more background on all three of them now for those of us who have never seen the expanse [SPEAKER_04]: We don't, we're not familiar with the setting or the format can tell us a little bit more about what that's like and why or how you would want that in a mass-fetched show.

[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, man. [SPEAKER_08]: Jennifer, I was just saying it. [SPEAKER_08]: I guess just, I don't know. [SPEAKER_08]: Honestly, I couldn't tell you. [SPEAKER_08]: Just I guess just a lot of the expansive mind of me of Mass Effect, so I can just ride, I bring it up. [SPEAKER_04]: Okay, I got you.

[SPEAKER_04]: So it's hard sci-fi, right? [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: The expense. [SPEAKER_08]: All right. [SPEAKER_08]: So as I, I just imagine scenes like with. [SPEAKER_08]: I forgot how name now, but like the UN, Chalito and the I just seems like about a like the elusive man or like the human council.

[SPEAKER_08]: Like zoning about the fuzz contact well on how to deal with the terrain and so whatever. [SPEAKER_04]: That could be really cool. [SPEAKER_04]: So this would also be another human centric storyline. [SPEAKER_04]: And it would also be occurring outside of the original trilogy and before it actually so you could sidestep all of the choices that players made.

[SPEAKER_04]: So regardless of how the story actually goes, do you want to make sure that the show runners, no matter what setting they choose, to just avoid it trying to recreate the OT? [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, just because... Man, if you're like when you try to adapt the story that already exists, you have to really change a lot of it.

[SPEAKER_08]: And TV fellow, like they would still be having to adapt a story that exists, but they would have a lot more freedom to walk with because we don't really hear much about that period of time outside of the comics or the codex. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, absolutely. [SPEAKER_04]: All right. [SPEAKER_04]: I want to open this up for the rest of us here in a story in the Mass Effect universe, a lot of the expands focusing on Anderson and the elusive man.

[SPEAKER_04]: What do you guys think? [SPEAKER_06]: I love that. [SPEAKER_06]: I've actually been obsessed with the expanse over the past like two weeks. [SPEAKER_06]: Tom, Roa, it's actually got me into it, so thanks a lot for that Tom. [SPEAKER_06]: I don't have a like, I'll start with that now, but whatever.

[SPEAKER_06]: And it's basically Mars is fully settled. [SPEAKER_06]: there in the process of attempting to terraform Mars and there's three severed factions. [SPEAKER_06]: There's the UN which are occupying and control the planet Earth. [SPEAKER_06]: Then there's the [SPEAKER_06]: Mars Royal Navy, who occupied control Mars and the Belters, who are the workers and people who live out on the asteroid belt.

[SPEAKER_06]: And the universe is mining the asteroid belt for everything from water to heavy metals to all of your basic necessities and needs and resources now come from the asteroid belt. [SPEAKER_06]: And there's a constant struggle for power balance between those three parties. [SPEAKER_06]: So I think that would actually translate really well to [SPEAKER_06]: a Mass Effect themed TV show because you have obviously the different races, the council races, especially humanity and then other factions outside of that like blue stunts, blood pack, serverists.

[SPEAKER_06]: So there are the same constant struggles for like a leg up over somebody else, especially in the council races. [SPEAKER_06]: So I do think that translates beautifully. [SPEAKER_04]: So it sounds like you would you would take a one step further where it wouldn't just be focusing on Anderson and the elusive man, but to loop in more races, you would set a little bit later in the lore.

[SPEAKER_06]: Well, I mean, right off the bat, right in the first context, uh, type, uh, timeline or era, the Edward was referencing you have the ternians that play already. [SPEAKER_06]: So it, it's, to me, it rings true to that similar, um, humanity being like the, the newcomers to this, uh, verse the ternians were the established.

[SPEAKER_06]: So ternians would represent the earthers in the expanse. [SPEAKER_06]: And the humans and humanity would represent probably closer to like the belters, just like kind of scraping by, just happy to be here, happy to be part of the party, whereas service is much more technologically advanced, which is equates to how the people on Mars were as well, because obviously we sent our best scientists there to try to terraform a planet.

[SPEAKER_06]: So their technology started scaling way past what Earth had at the time. [SPEAKER_04]: Retrobot Andrew, what do you guys think about turning Mass Effect into an Expans type TV show? [SPEAKER_07]: I've never seen the Expansists. [SPEAKER_07]: I haven't gotten into it yet. [SPEAKER_07]: It's definitely on my watch list.

[SPEAKER_07]: But I was just thinking, we're talking about having multiple viewpoints. [SPEAKER_07]: My first thought went to like more like a black near sort of format to the show where it may be like it falls a different character for like every episode of one character over multiple episodes. [SPEAKER_07]: So kind of just spread out a bit more so that you can give more of the lore to people who aren't too familiar with it.

[SPEAKER_04]: That could be cool too. [SPEAKER_04]: A non-linear story kind of telling like that. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I might like that as well. [SPEAKER_04]: Andrew, how do you feel? [SPEAKER_04]: Have you ever seen the expansion? [SPEAKER_04]: And if not, would you still want this mass-fect TV show to be similarly hard sci-fi space opera?

[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I've not seen it, but you know, it seems to me that this could kind of tie into what you had done out there as well about like unraveling conspiracies and seeing what's going on. [SPEAKER_05]: And, you know, [SPEAKER_05]: I feel like what's funny about conspiracies, right, is that they're a conspiracy until the sudden they're proven correct.

[SPEAKER_05]: And then it's like, oh shit, this is truth. [SPEAKER_05]: So like the show could do some really cool things where I can play with stuff that would allow us to be like, is it true? [SPEAKER_05]: Is it not depending on which faction or character you be falling in the episode or however they're bouncing it around and then all of a sudden you could tie all that together.

[SPEAKER_05]: It could be like service really is staging a coup on the citadel or you know you could do like weird stuff like that. [SPEAKER_04]: It was a peaceful protest but go on. [SPEAKER_05]: So peaceful it was such it was the most peaceful protest on the citadel. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I think that that would be a really cool tactic you could take to make it so that there's no omniscient narrator, the viewer, themselves, doesn't know what's true and what's not.

[SPEAKER_04]: And I feel like the only way you could do that is by taking a storyline that none of the players have known ever before. [SPEAKER_04]: They might know the ultimate outcome of, like, say the first contact war, but they don't know how you get there. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.

[SPEAKER_04]: I love that as well. [SPEAKER_04]: All right. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, you come. [SPEAKER_04]: Let's go over to you. [SPEAKER_04]: What is your idea? [SPEAKER_04]: If you were put in charge of directing this Mass Effect TV show, how would you go about it? [SPEAKER_06]: So I'm going to do exactly what everybody doesn't want me to do.

[SPEAKER_06]: And I'm going to want to one. [SPEAKER_06]: this entire trilogy over six seasons, I feel like. [SPEAKER_06]: But if we're just talking about the first season or two, it's going to be a one-to-one of Mass Effect One. [SPEAKER_06]: We're going to start exactly where the game starts. [SPEAKER_06]: And I feel like that's how we're going to get introduced to the Alliance.

[SPEAKER_06]: We're going to get introduced to the Terrians. [SPEAKER_06]: And then from there, the guests and everything like that, how plain it's operate, what the technology is operate. [SPEAKER_06]: We learn through the TV series, the same way. [SPEAKER_06]: We learned through the game. [SPEAKER_06]: I actually had this conversation, like I was saying earlier a couple of weeks ago.

[SPEAKER_06]: In the discord, with vortex, my grumpy and hellable fuss normity. [SPEAKER_06]: And when we were all kicking around these ideas, what we were coming up with collectively kind of turns the tide. [SPEAKER_06]: I didn't want this TV series to come out of all in real life but kind of like because my thing is like don't touch anything like don't make anything canon like the comic books do like the the books between the chapters of the original trilogy are all canonized but then I was thinking [SPEAKER_06]: Just lead it off with the, hey, this isn't canon.

[SPEAKER_06]: This is just a creative representation of what the trilogy was like, no different than following along with somebody's fan fiction or us watching you stream your head cannon streams. [SPEAKER_06]: They're not choices that everybody would make, but it's, it's just your take on it. [SPEAKER_06]: So then when I looked at it through that lens, [SPEAKER_06]: I was like, that's doable.

[SPEAKER_06]: You know, like you can, you can have choices be made in the TV series that aren't choices that every single viewer have made. [SPEAKER_06]: You can have the star of the firm shape or you can have it be brochure and just because somebody doesn't play as brochure or doesn't play as firm shape doesn't mean that that's the canon character.

[SPEAKER_06]: Reave over Rex, Samara, over Moron, like none of these are canon choices. [SPEAKER_06]: It's just an artistic representation. [SPEAKER_06]: of something that we have no different than what every TV series does especially sci-fi TV series when they rip their subject matter from a book. [SPEAKER_06]: Like the expanses of perfect example of that, it's a series of books.

[SPEAKER_06]: And in like the third or fourth episode, one of the main characters at the time gets speared to a wall [SPEAKER_06]: by people who are of a different faction than him. [SPEAKER_06]: In the books, that character never gets spirits of the wall. [SPEAKER_06]: It's a completely different character that gets spirits of the wall yet.

[SPEAKER_06]: It's accepted in the Expans TV show because it was never a video game first, essentially. [SPEAKER_04]: No, I want to jump in here for a second because basically you're saying that it should be a one-to-one recreation and we shouldn't matter about whatever portion of the audience being upset that their choices were not reflected in the TV show because what we're seeing is not canon.

[SPEAKER_04]: What do the rest of you feel like? [SPEAKER_04]: How did the rest of you feel like that would be received even with it such a disclaimer? [SPEAKER_08]: I, I feel like most people really when it cal, especially if it wasn't canon, because I feel like what they would do anyway would be the most powerful choices just by default, even if they didn't mean to go that route, just so they have, you know, that the chef or being the hero as opposed to someone that like, [SPEAKER_08]: like a Walter White.

[SPEAKER_08]: You don't know if he should root for them or not. [SPEAKER_04]: Right. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: There's so much of film production is just risk averse anymore. [SPEAKER_04]: All right. [SPEAKER_04]: Where there's so the costs are so high in any kind of media production that they're just terrified to lose money.

[SPEAKER_04]: So you're probably right. [SPEAKER_04]: They would just go with the focus group test and options, which by where I think has already supplied the data on. [SPEAKER_04]: Genesis, I saw you move your eyebrows because I think you got some particular thoughts on how this would be received. [SPEAKER_09]: I do.

[SPEAKER_09]: While I like the idea of seeing all of my squadmate friends on TV, I don't know if I would want to see a shepherd that's not mine playing out the story that's not mine. [SPEAKER_09]: I think that that's why we love this video game so much, just because we can personalize it and make it our own.

[SPEAKER_09]: and each playthrough to us is important, whether we're just going through to see what the options are or we're doing our own personal cannons. [SPEAKER_09]: Each one of the playthroughs that I've done have meant something different to me. [SPEAKER_09]: And to see my friends, my squadmates, my lovers going through actions that I don't like, [SPEAKER_09]: There are definitely decisions that it's like, are you going to even Mass Effect One with like, Garus and Dr. Hart making the decisions that I wouldn't make in that moment?

[SPEAKER_09]: It would just make things really, really off for me. [SPEAKER_09]: But I do see the merits of saying that this is not canon, this is watching somebody else's playthrough, watching a version of it. [SPEAKER_09]: I can see how it would work. [SPEAKER_09]: I just don't know if it would be what everyone would want to watch, what a majority of people would want to watch.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I think this is total speculation, but I think most of the people who would watch a Mass Effect TV show are people who play the games. [SPEAKER_04]: So, yeah, knowing how childish the internet can be, even with the disclaimer, there probably still be a lot of people upset. [SPEAKER_04]: However, to make a storyline linear and to make a progress, you need to make choices, right?

[SPEAKER_06]: If you look at it through the lens of twenty twenty five though, right? [SPEAKER_06]: Like if we want to take off, like, and I want to assure you guys, listen, this is my TV series. [SPEAKER_06]: I'm going to do a justice. [SPEAKER_06]: Okay. [SPEAKER_06]: This isn't, we're not putting this in the hand of Lionsgate or Sonia entertainment or anything like that, right?

[SPEAKER_06]: We got this under control. [SPEAKER_06]: Now, if you guys want to donate to my Kickstarter, we can get this off the ground. [SPEAKER_06]: But if you look at it through the lens of like you were saying earlier where everything's risk of verse at the same time, everything is engagement trip, right?

[SPEAKER_06]: So I feel like that actually puts this in a unique position where after [SPEAKER_06]: the episode ends. [SPEAKER_06]: The social media engagement is going to be through the roof with either people agreeing with the decision that was made or disagreeing with it. [SPEAKER_06]: And like you mentioned, Genesis, we've all all of us in this chat right now have played through the game so many times.

[SPEAKER_06]: We've all made decisions that we don't agree with. [SPEAKER_06]: As we were playing through with the character, like you said, whether it was just to see what happens or having a different head cannon of how that's [SPEAKER_06]: you know what, you know, tech abilities versus biotics and things like that.

[SPEAKER_06]: So I think [SPEAKER_06]: if this was to play out in a way decisions that you didn't make or I didn't make, spoiler lyrics all the decisions I made, it's a bunch of you show. [SPEAKER_06]: But if I think it would be, I mean, obviously I'm wrong, I'm looking through this through my own lens, but I think it would be a hurdle that would be easy to get over because again, it's in one of your places you've made that decision, even if it's not your head cannon.

[SPEAKER_06]: So I feel like there shouldn't be a decision that's too jaw-dropping. [SPEAKER_09]: either that or you brought up the fact that there'd be a lot of social and media engagement. [SPEAKER_09]: Let's American idol this, you know, make one decision from each episode that is a key decision that the player would have made and put that up to social media choice.

[SPEAKER_09]: And then whatever the majority is, that's what you go with. [SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, it changes your script a little bit, but you already know what the two options are going to be in this moment. [SPEAKER_09]: So you can write the script going either way. [SPEAKER_09]: And then it feels a little bit more like the players, the watchers actually had a choice and decision in it.

[SPEAKER_04]: In a perfect world where every profile on social media was a real person, I would agree with you. [SPEAKER_04]: But there is a growing number of bots and bot activity on social media where I feel like any poll put up on social media is inherently illegitimate. [SPEAKER_09]: Okay, fine, burst my bubble.

[SPEAKER_04]: I'm good at bursting bubbles. [SPEAKER_04]: And so I will, I will continue. [SPEAKER_04]: I'm the bubble first, sir. [SPEAKER_04]: All right, any other thoughts on, you know, you can's idea going full steam ahead, one to one recreation of the original trilogy. [SPEAKER_04]: Presumably as a live action, not anime.

[SPEAKER_05]: Correct. [SPEAKER_05]: I can only imagine like the sheer error that we would all collectively experience as we're hurtling towards choices that we don't want to see made like Caden are actually or you know just those like you know I'm talking about things you can't avoid so like I can just imagine us all collect the game closer to the team you like oh man what's going to happen like [SPEAKER_05]: But then I also thought about it hilariously.

[SPEAKER_05]: You know, one of the movies I enjoy the most is Clue. [SPEAKER_05]: And so, I'm imagining the end of the Mass Effect. [SPEAKER_05]: If it ends the way that the game does, right, with your three choices or four, you know, ish depending how you play that ending. [SPEAKER_05]: If they shot three different endings and depending where you live you got a different ones of people like they picked a destroy and then someone else was like, no they did synthesis and it's like this whole like what's ending did you get but I would think it would be really hard.

[SPEAKER_05]: but also like really intense and engaging to sit there and like inch closer to just like am I picking Kate and am I picking Ashley? [SPEAKER_05]: Like what's gonna happen? [SPEAKER_05]: And I think the thing that would be the toughest would probably be whoever plays like separate especially like how do they deliver the dialogue?

[SPEAKER_05]: Like because if it's not Mark Meer, like how did you do the dialogue? [SPEAKER_05]: No, you'd have to know that. [SPEAKER_06]: So that's what I'm going to do. [SPEAKER_06]: I'll tell you to be the best brochure out there. [SPEAKER_06]: Who would be John Berthall? [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, okay, and for those of us who are not familiar, he plays the Punisher, correct?

[SPEAKER_06]: Yes, he's also in the account. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Okay, so I'm sure all of you have seen memes from that before. [SPEAKER_04]: I also thought that Henry Caval would be a great shepherd, just because I know he's also a fan of the series and he's a huge nerd. [SPEAKER_04]: So after having watched enough Witcher episodes, I feel like he probably gets into character pretty well.

[SPEAKER_09]: I could definitely see Henry Cavall as they shepherd. [SPEAKER_09]: But then again, that's not my general shepherd. [SPEAKER_09]: And I'm trying to think of who could play a good fellowship. [SPEAKER_04]: Right, I was just going to say pro-shep or Fimshep is going to be the first decision that the show renters make that piss people off.

[SPEAKER_04]: That would alienate half the audience, but I don't know if they'd still watch any way or not. [SPEAKER_04]: Who knows? [SPEAKER_05]: Could you imagine if they just swapped back and forth between bro and fam, like each episode without, like, you'd be like, so confused and make, like, don't work just go with it.

[SPEAKER_05]: It's fine. [SPEAKER_04]: Acting like nothing happens. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_05]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_04]: In the middle of a romance scene, cut to black. [SPEAKER_09]: No, maybe I'll get finally get romance seeds that don't fade to black. [SPEAKER_09]: You can't, I demand this of the show.

[SPEAKER_09]: We are going to have no fade to black. [SPEAKER_04]: And it looks like it's going on HBO. [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_06]: HBO, the way of Max, be a way of prime TV. [SPEAKER_06]: So everybody's covered. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_06]: There we go.

[SPEAKER_04]: All right. [SPEAKER_04]: Now we're just about to wrap up this episode. [SPEAKER_04]: But Genesis, I want to hear your idea for how you would direct the Mass Effect TV show if and when it comes out. [SPEAKER_09]: So I'm thinking in the timeframe between one and two where Shepherd's dead.

[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, when Shepherd's dead, and I'm going to set it on Omega. [SPEAKER_09]: I want it to be a little bit of a scaled back soap opera where there's a lot of drama. [SPEAKER_09]: There's a lot of characters that you're following around, but it's just a couple of central storylines that keep getting woven in between each other.

[SPEAKER_09]: I'm thinking like a couple human characters and then we have Omega itself where you can have any alien race and have them all introduced organically and there's not conflict between them. [SPEAKER_09]: I mean, there's natural conflicts of, you know, we're going through this soap opera together, whatever dramas you want to bring in.

[SPEAKER_09]: But I was thinking that if we have it in a war setting of the first contact war, that's going to instantly put the bias of forget ulterians, we hate the terrians, and then you get into Mass Effect, and now you have terrians on your ship. [SPEAKER_09]: You know, if you watch the TV show and then you go and play the game, like that's what happened with Fallout.

[SPEAKER_09]: We watched the Fallout TV series, and then Fallout four sales picked back up and skyrocketed. [SPEAKER_09]: So that would presumably happen with Mass Effect. [SPEAKER_09]: So I don't want to put a pre bias of, you know, we were at war with this species already, putting it in a space where we can all work together.

[SPEAKER_09]: I think we'll work a little bit better. [SPEAKER_04]: Omega would be a fantastic setting for a Mass Effect era themed version of Romeo and Juliet. [SPEAKER_04]: Can you imagine? [SPEAKER_09]: I like this. [SPEAKER_09]: Yes, I can see all the families together, the Montague and Capulets, you know, and a sorry in a human or maybe a turian.

[SPEAKER_09]: Oh, no, I want to make Romeo the, um, a Crogan. [SPEAKER_04]: Oh, okay. [SPEAKER_04]: And who is Julia? [SPEAKER_09]: I don't know, yeah. [SPEAKER_09]: Maybe a human, but we'll see. [SPEAKER_04]: Okay, all right, or go according. [SPEAKER_04]: Assuming either one of those races would live through that kind of romance.

[SPEAKER_08]: Immediately, I thought I would have voted on an alcohol. [SPEAKER_04]: of board is is Romeo the L-core now it was Romeo a bit of old chef oh Juliet's the L-core amazing alright wow alright okay so uh what are the rest of you think about uh kind of a micro contained story on omega during the two years in which shepherd is dead [SPEAKER_06]: I think that's a great idea that provides you with so much material, like untapped material, because nobody really knows what the universe at large, let alone the outlaw capital of outer space was thinking or going through when world's most famous specter was [SPEAKER_06]: MIA presumably dead.

[SPEAKER_06]: The the power dynamic shift that that must have created or at least let the door open to and here you have the pirate queen herself sitting on top of her own where the story takes place. [SPEAKER_06]: navigating her way through information brokers and other means of getting things done to try to jostle her place farther up after all this happened.

[SPEAKER_04]: It could be pretty cool to get like a Lyra easter egg to in the background like, you know, like, it's not the stories and really about Lyra at all, but you just see Lyra in her outfit with fair and walk by in the background. [SPEAKER_04]: You're like, that's the thing. [SPEAKER_04]: They're on their way to the gym.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, yeah, exactly. [SPEAKER_04]: Or you could see as Alan in chat here says someone fucking with Arya and then they get thrown out the window. [SPEAKER_04]: I'll like DJ Jazzy Jeff from Fresh Prince of Illar. [SPEAKER_08]: It, it also be like a cool opportunity to have like Paul Grayson just as like a second day.

[SPEAKER_08]: Calcutta from the novels. [SPEAKER_08]: just hidden not going to his story, but just having be that as well, like all your students. [SPEAKER_04]: Hmm, who could you see playing Paul Grayson? [SPEAKER_04]: I feel like Kyle McLaughlin would be great. [SPEAKER_08]: I was gonna say Chris Pratt as a joke, but Clive Owen.

[SPEAKER_04]: I can see Clive Owen doing it being a red sand addict. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_09]: One of my favorite things about the cyberpunk edge runners anime was the fact that they pulled one from one of scenes in the game that you can walk around and interact with and drew them out and put them in anime format.

[SPEAKER_09]: I would love if we could actually see things or hear the balancer making his voice lines over and over again, you know, for walking into afterlife. [SPEAKER_09]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_09]: A little things like that would be the Easter eggs that they could throw in for the people who know if you know, you know.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, the the Mad Beterian preacher. [SPEAKER_04]: The Unders Nye. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, that would be amazing. [SPEAKER_06]: I was actually one of the things I was thinking to, right? [SPEAKER_06]: Like, [SPEAKER_06]: like in my mind's eye for like how my series would shape up the the news alerts as you're like walking down flights of stairs and stuff like that walking past those little odd ATM looking to these that were always playing news informationals out here that would be a good way to give news to the viewer in an easter egg format of things that were happening outside in this case outside of Omega [SPEAKER_04]: that would be a really cool easter egg system that would keep yeah like dark hard fans really glued to the screen and rewatching episodes and whatnot all right well any other thoughts on the omega story before we wrap up here

[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, there could be a cool moment where you could also dial in stuff about some of the background characters like Xie'd or you could have like weird stuff about like these deaths don't make sense and that's like how you learn about more like being on Omega so [SPEAKER_05]: I think there could be some like cool stuff that like in the background or whatever, isn't the focus.

[SPEAKER_05]: But I just I love the idea of just people getting thrown out of air. [SPEAKER_05]: I'll actually just, it's hilarious to me. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, maybe maybe you also hear about a battalion bartender who's poisoning human customers. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: Red robot look like you wanted to say something.

[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I just have like a couple of thoughts about being set there. [SPEAKER_07]: I was thinking like either it'd one be like some sort of like game drama between like the three different games and trying to get power, but like they can't actually get power because of the whole RA situation.

[SPEAKER_07]: Or I was thinking some like space breaking bad, like some sort of learning sciences or Creole finds out that they have only a few months to live so they move. [SPEAKER_07]: They move there. [SPEAKER_07]: the moots of mega and then decide I'm gonna make a more pure version of red sand or like blue sand or something like that yeah science bitch [SPEAKER_04]: I see that the comments here in chat that this would be a perfect setting for our angels story or story to lead up to Sedonus' betrayal of Garrison's crew.

[SPEAKER_04]: I think that would be kind of cool. [SPEAKER_04]: Maybe it would just be something to mention in the background. [SPEAKER_04]: Maybe it would be something to focus on. [SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, no alter your motives here. [SPEAKER_08]: I almost well he could make it like the Star Wars Stonewall animated series.

[SPEAKER_08]: So so so much that can happen on Omega. [SPEAKER_08]: It could be just like an anthology of its own. [SPEAKER_08]: That doesn't have to go into any particular auto. [SPEAKER_08]: But it's just like any like just every episode which is a random day on Omega and maybe some stories can act later on.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: All right, um, Genesis, any other final thoughts? [SPEAKER_09]: Oh, I loved, I didn't even think about the fact that we could have storylines revolving around the characters that we already know being on Omega because that would bring Zahid, uh, mordin, garris, and then I think Jacob and Miranda spent time on there.

[SPEAKER_09]: So we definitely could have a lot of characters revolving within and periphery. [SPEAKER_09]: I don't want the, I don't want the main plot to be about the people that we already know. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: All right. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, this has been a lot of fun. [SPEAKER_04]: I know a lot of times we like to just have our imaginary casting calls for Mass Effect TV show.

[SPEAKER_04]: But now that we have kind of some inklings that there is, a Mass Effect TV show in production, I'm very happy to talk about our ideas for some kind of plot line. [SPEAKER_04]: But I guess, you know, like we said last week, we throw enough darts at a board, eventually one of them's going to stick.

[SPEAKER_04]: So I think one of us is probably onto something and it'll be fun to come back and see which one it was. [SPEAKER_04]: So, all right, let's go around the org here and of course let people know how they can get a holdy of what you got going on. [SPEAKER_04]: Genesis? [SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, I have two other shows.

[SPEAKER_09]: The two girls one ship podcast where we analyze right and review all that the world of video game romances has to offer. [SPEAKER_09]: And these cyberpunk lore cast where we explore the foundations of the past, the state of Night City today and the news of the future for all things cyberpunk.

[SPEAKER_04]: All right, in Red Drabun. [SPEAKER_07]: I'm on the discord by monster hunter. [SPEAKER_07]: I just finished a playthrough of a Tainted Grail follow that along if anyone wants to talk about that. [SPEAKER_07]: That's about it, really. [SPEAKER_04]: Alright, and Andrew, what are you guys going on?

[SPEAKER_04]: How can people get hold of you? [SPEAKER_05]: I'm on the discord and I'm just busy with work and life. [SPEAKER_05]: That's pretty much enough on the plate with our identity crazy stuff into it. [SPEAKER_04]: I totally understand that. [SPEAKER_04]: Ed boy, how's life going? [SPEAKER_04]: How can people get a hold of you?

[SPEAKER_04]: And what are you going on until next time? [SPEAKER_08]: Good. [SPEAKER_08]: Nothing going on. [SPEAKER_08]: Moist on to just go to Fening one once to talk Mass Effect. [SPEAKER_08]: Oh, whatever. [SPEAKER_04]: Right on. [SPEAKER_04]: And you cut. [SPEAKER_06]: You concordially is in the discord on their probably way too much as I say every month.

[SPEAKER_06]: Always willing to talk mass effects. [SPEAKER_06]: Always willing to applaud admin for eradicating bots in the discord as well. [SPEAKER_06]: I am deep in the expanse right now. [SPEAKER_06]: If anybody else is watching it or interested in it, definitely give it a look. [SPEAKER_06]: And I'm currently doing my very first text specialist centric playthrough of Mass Effect.

[SPEAKER_04]: And how board are you? [SPEAKER_06]: I learned immediately how important my audience are. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, but as someone who always played his Vanguard, the first time I ever played a tech heavy playthrough, I was like, hey, this is what it's like to erase shields right away. [SPEAKER_04]: This is pretty great.

[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, actually always Vanguard as well, either Vanguard or biotic, primarily. [SPEAKER_06]: I did one soldier class specifically through, but you still get it in center rate. [SPEAKER_06]: It was actually in drama. [SPEAKER_06]: That kind of shifted my years before this current playthrough of the original trilogy, because in drama, it is a very tech-heavy game.

[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, it is. [SPEAKER_04]: And it's also more fluid in its classes. [SPEAKER_04]: All right. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, I am streaming very irregularly again now that I've gotten some kind of time. [SPEAKER_04]: We have some kind of idea of a schedule for my son, which is still constantly evolving because he's growing and, you know, we get one thing figured out and then that thing is gone.

[SPEAKER_04]: And then we got to get the next thing figured out.
