[SPEAKER_04]: I'm Commander Shepherd, and this is my favorite lorecast on the Citadel. [SPEAKER_11]: Welcome to the Mass Effect lorecast. [SPEAKER_08]: I'm in seven the legend and I'm Genesis. [SPEAKER_11]: Join us as we explore along tides of light and through shows of dust to see where this lore began and consider where it may go.
[SPEAKER_11]: The Specters, hello and welcome back to a hopefully thought-provoking episode of the Mass Effect Lordcast. [SPEAKER_11]: I'm your host, In7Legend, and I've chosen a new adjective for this week, joining me as always as my wonderful co-genesis. [SPEAKER_11]: Genesis, how are you? [SPEAKER_08]: I'm doing quite well.
[SPEAKER_08]: I've had a lot of really quality family time this last week and it's been pretty healing. [SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, I feel that. [SPEAKER_11]: I, um, so my son just celebrated his first birthday. [SPEAKER_11]: and he is looking more and more toddler like every day and less baby like and it's crazy because it really feels like days just fly by.
[SPEAKER_11]: But yeah, that is why we took last week off. [SPEAKER_11]: So happy to be back and joining us are some of our patrons. [SPEAKER_11]: because this is the end of the month, this is the end of March, episode 2026, and we're going to be discussing something that is going to require a little bit of creative thinking, and we're going to have to open up our brain tanks and pour in some high octane fuel.
[SPEAKER_11]: So I think we should probably just say that this episode is going to be us brainstorming. [SPEAKER_11]: the ideas of creating a new race for the next Mass Effect. [SPEAKER_11]: Having a start here is our patron Magistrate of Edam, a Magistrate of Edam, or having you start because you told us that it's storming where you are, and so you might abruptly get disconnected.
[SPEAKER_10]: Very much looking happened. [SPEAKER_10]: I'm going to get my windows right now, so. [SPEAKER_10]: Grand time over here. [SPEAKER_11]: All right, well, hopefully you stay safe and hopefully your power stays on, but Magister tell us if you were going to create a new race for the next Mass Effect game.
[SPEAKER_11]: What would it be like? [SPEAKER_11]: What would it look like? [SPEAKER_11]: What would the race sound like, maybe? [SPEAKER_11]: What would they? [SPEAKER_11]: What would be some of the hallmarks of their culture? [SPEAKER_09]: of the Natulo. [SPEAKER_09]: They are a centaur-based race, thinking of, we have the Elcor, but I want something more grounded, something that has the four legs, but also has mobility up top as well.
[SPEAKER_10]: I'm thinking more of a longer type face, a culture that learned to master the arts of biotics, long, long [SPEAKER_10]: things that we would associate with a center of culture, being inconvenience, wouldn't be the case with them. [SPEAKER_10]: Mobility, getting around certain situations, they are keen.
[SPEAKER_10]: The particular culture itself of viewing it more as a learned scholarly type, [SPEAKER_10]: put down a sword along the go, they can fight if need be, but more so they've been working on advancing society. [SPEAKER_10]: Never quite gain a space travel and when an unfortunate reaper crash lands on the planet, well, we can learn a little bit more from that and it doesn't take them long before they end up in the space travel.
[SPEAKER_10]: I'm thinking more of a [SPEAKER_10]: kind of tribal aesthetic. [SPEAKER_10]: So I think kind of like Wakanda Esk, I don't think in other type situation, where it's a different future risk, but a different style to it. [SPEAKER_10]: The going to go with a more insect like when it comes to sizes, males being a lot more [SPEAKER_10]: studious type and the women being the more brawny, bigger, almost warrior-esque types as well.
[SPEAKER_10]: Just imagine a almost Amazonian level biotic charge from a centaur and be prepared for that. [SPEAKER_10]: Outside of that, very musical sounding voices, a lot of clicks and [SPEAKER_10]: tonage in different colors and types as well. [SPEAKER_10]: That's the main thing I was thinking of the new Tolot type race.
[SPEAKER_11]: Man, I am so enthralled with this idea. [SPEAKER_11]: What do you think, Genesis? [SPEAKER_11]: I was like hanging on every word you were saying. [SPEAKER_08]: I am totally invested in this. [SPEAKER_08]: I mean, as soon as you started talking about them being the studious type, immediately, Hiran came to mind, because he's the one who is the tutor, the center who broke away from, you know, because they used to be savages and wild and killing and doing all the crazy things that center is state.
[SPEAKER_08]: But then Hiran became this like ultimate level healer. [SPEAKER_08]: And so when you were talking about this race, [SPEAKER_08]: I could see it being a race-born of Kyron and evolving from there, and I'm so invested, I want this. [SPEAKER_08]: It doesn't even have to be in Mass Effect, right me a fanfic, honey, I'm here for it.
[SPEAKER_11]: So how tall are we talking about for each of you? [SPEAKER_11]: Like are they huge or, yeah, okay, they are? [SPEAKER_11]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_10]: Like the males would probably be like nine feet. [SPEAKER_10]: females kick it depending on the type that they are, probably like up to 12 feet, smaller side, 7 feet, 12 feet to max.
[SPEAKER_11]: Well, so, but it's not like there are warrior race, you're saying, and more of a, they're more interested into the intellectual pursuits. [SPEAKER_10]: The last couple thousand years I've been more studious society level society or your types. [SPEAKER_11]: Now, that might lay a pretty interesting ground to work for why we haven't met them already, right?
[SPEAKER_11]: That why that they may have seen the writing on the wall and have chosen to remain insular and with their noses in books, so to speak. [SPEAKER_10]: Until I'll reaper crash lands on there, plan it from whatever shepherd did. [SPEAKER_11]: right. [SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, whatever that ending was.
[SPEAKER_11]: Well, I have a lot of thoughts on this, but I do want to open this up to the rest of our patrons to chime in about the Natolo, you said. [SPEAKER_11]: Natolo, this Amazonian scholarly centaur race that Magistrate Vita has created for the next Mass Effect. [SPEAKER_11]: What do you guys think and feel free to just jump in?
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I think that's really interesting and I can already kind of see how the council would react to them because I just feel like the council would see them as sort of like stealth uplifted. [SPEAKER_03]: Like they weren't supposed to have this technology yet and it's just a fluke that they got this technology.
[SPEAKER_03]: So I just see them just train them to horrible because they're like, well, you weren't supposed to be at this point near technology yet. [SPEAKER_03]: So like why should we [SPEAKER_03]: Care about you, you're resting in the new crowding. [SPEAKER_03]: Shut the wall, smarter. [SPEAKER_11]: that being interested, I can see that kind of superiority complex coming from the council, definitely.
[SPEAKER_11]: Even though it would be erroneous, right? [SPEAKER_11]: Even though the assari themselves were uplifted. [SPEAKER_11]: But I can certainly see that as, you know, them using a reason to kind of keep them at or harm's length. [SPEAKER_11]: Day or Karina, what do you both think about this race of the Natolo?
[SPEAKER_02]: Personally, I think it'd be pretty interesting to have a good mixture between a humanoid non-humanoid race, instead of just like a mother's bipedal race again. [SPEAKER_02]: So I think it's interesting and I don't want to learn more about the culture too. [SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, that's a great point that this would be another quadrupedal race that besides the Elkore, I can't really think of any, but okay, the keepers, I guess you could say, but they're not really like maybe.
[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, they kind of float. [SPEAKER_11]: So, they just float. [SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, they have tentacles. [SPEAKER_02]: They float now. [SPEAKER_11]: oh great they float now um yeah so you know there's not a lot of um for lack of a better word like beast races as someone who is a huge you know elder scroll fan you know they classify the kajid and the um [SPEAKER_11]: are going in as beast races.
[SPEAKER_11]: They're not a lot of non-humanly races like they pointed out. [SPEAKER_11]: So, yeah, I think this would be a very welcome addition, and I can already imagine the archive of our own fan fiction. [SPEAKER_11]: Can't you, Genesis? [SPEAKER_08]: There'll be a lot of imaginative people who wanted to romance these centers.
[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, yeah, exactly. [SPEAKER_11]: In fact, I bet the first one about the Natolo comes after we put out this episode. [SPEAKER_11]: Yep So I'm gonna get so hot and bothered. [SPEAKER_11]: Then I like I must write [SPEAKER_08]: I'm pretty sure you can already find Suntar Fanfic out there.
[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, 100%, but let's ask the creator of the Nittolo, who had just her? [SPEAKER_11]: Would you want them to be a romansible species or no? [SPEAKER_11]: Oh, absolutely. [SPEAKER_10]: Hell yeah, definitely went that. [SPEAKER_10]: And especially like I can imagine whether it's a male, female or anywhere in between, can you imagine like you're the main player character, you're talking with a bunch of scientists.
[SPEAKER_10]: And they're like, we're bringing in a reaper specialist who's far-learned and studied in this. [SPEAKER_10]: And also you just hear it is stumping sound like Jurassic Park. [SPEAKER_10]: The style and then you turn around and then there's just like 11 foot tall centaur behind you being like I'm just trying to fit.
[SPEAKER_11]: They're talking about and then there's just like Right there damn I'd also want one that's like kind of nerdy like He get those big like clot clot clot clot clot horses whoves and then he could look around and there's like an 11 foot tall scientist He's like hi, I mean he's melding Exactly [SPEAKER_11]: Expectations.
[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, I've heard it. [SPEAKER_11]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_11]: Oh, man. [SPEAKER_11]: I'd love to see like more than interact with these with these people. [SPEAKER_11]: So then that's that's really fun. [SPEAKER_11]: I also wonder what their spaceships would look like because obviously the architecture would need to look different than the humanoid races.
[SPEAKER_11]: So had you put any thought into how their space craft might look? [SPEAKER_10]: Definitely longer because it needs to have more just room for them to travel around. [SPEAKER_10]: I'm also picturing that a lot of objects are a lot more free form floating. [SPEAKER_10]: Like I said, they're not just standard.
[SPEAKER_10]: Like people would think they're just normally just walking around clipclack clipclack. [SPEAKER_10]: But I could even see them being like agile enough with their bodies to like hop around. [SPEAKER_10]: their environment. [SPEAKER_10]: So it'd be like a lot more 3D platforming type places there.
[SPEAKER_10]: Like their their seats might be on the side. [SPEAKER_10]: It would be almost, what's the one painter who makes the paintings where they stare to work on the ground? [SPEAKER_10]: Yes, more like that type of design when it comes to their ship. [SPEAKER_10]: Not like truly chaotic, but like different than what you would normally [SPEAKER_10]: Like some old comment and be like, Oh, this is completely different than what we normally would have more room here.
[SPEAKER_11]: That would be a nightmare for pirates of like any humanoid bipedal species like pirates to try and take one of their ships because even if they succeeded, they'd be like, Oh, what the hell do we need now? [SPEAKER_11]: I don't even know how to get this thing out of here. [SPEAKER_10]: Exactly, right, and on top of that, it would just be like a horror movie because they would come in and be like, okay.
[SPEAKER_10]: What's hilarious or a story you're in here and it's like, oh my god, what is that? [SPEAKER_10]: And then they just get thrown around with a bioticard. [SPEAKER_11]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_11]: The last thing they hear right behind them is That is on your pound 12 clips coming their way. [SPEAKER_11]: Exactly.
[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, man. [SPEAKER_11]: All right. [SPEAKER_11]: Well, hey, Karina, um, you've been a little quiet. [SPEAKER_11]: You've got any thoughts on that at all, though. [SPEAKER_01]: I think it's a very original idea and I really like the passion of Magister when he talks about it. [SPEAKER_01]: I'd like to see that and as you said, maybe not even in Mass Effect, I think it would be a great species for a completely new game.
[SPEAKER_01]: I'd like to see that. [SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, absolutely. [SPEAKER_11]: And you know what, what I like about it so much is that it's not just sci-fi, but it's hard on the fantasy element, too. [SPEAKER_11]: So you take these, you know, since ours objectively, a fantastical kind of race and putting them in sci-fi, I like that idea.
[SPEAKER_11]: Um, alright, well, Magisturney final thoughts. [SPEAKER_10]: No, I just think that's having something a bit, especially if we're going into this new level of Mass Effect. [SPEAKER_10]: I, like you said, most creatures are bipedal or, you know, an elk or lying basically kind of quad, but at the same time it's more so just they have to be on their hands, more than anything.
[SPEAKER_10]: And having something that's a bit more different than the standard build and seeing what technology truly do, pushing it, whether it's a centaur level level ask or more like down to Earth's characters, I think we should just push that much more when it comes to this technology, it shouldn't just be the standard.
[SPEAKER_11]: You know, we're right. [SPEAKER_11]: Well, again, I love that idea. [SPEAKER_11]: And I think by aware would do well to consult with you on the next Mass Effect. [SPEAKER_11]: Thank you so much for that wonderful idea at Magster. [SPEAKER_11]: Karina, we're going to go over to you if you're ready to bring forth your idea for a new race in the next Mass Effect.
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I don't have a specific idea for a new species per se, but one thing I really love to see in the next Mass Effect game is what happens to the people who chose the synthesis and then, you know, because [SPEAKER_01]: That choice basically creates a brand new kind of being, not fully organic, not fully synthetic, but something in between.
[SPEAKER_01]: So, would things actually be more... [SPEAKER_01]: peaceful because of the organic synthetic divide is gone, you know, instead of two species, you know, you have people that share the same biology and technology. [SPEAKER_01]: So do these hybrid humans feel emotions differently? [SPEAKER_01]: Do they communicate in ways?
[SPEAKER_01]: organic's never good. [SPEAKER_01]: I think there's a lot of potential there. [SPEAKER_01]: And of course I imagine these beings like really peaceful and physically maybe they would not be like what we see at the end of [SPEAKER_01]: joker and other people with green eyes and that's it, but maybe it would be something a little different.
[SPEAKER_01]: But that's what I'd like to see, maybe. [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe in the TV show, I don't know, I don't know. [SPEAKER_11]: Sure, yeah. [SPEAKER_11]: Well, I think that that's a, that would be an interesting idea to flesh out, especially because can you imagine the kind of tensions that might arise if not everyone did get affected by the energy from the crucible.
[SPEAKER_11]: So there were some people still left who were purely organics. [SPEAKER_11]: you know, what kind of trust issues might exist between the purely organic members of one species and now the hybrids and deadric members of that same species, who maybe they the organics don't trust these hybrids now, right?
[SPEAKER_11]: Or maybe because the organics would be in the the very small minority, they are the ones who are discriminated against. [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you're right. [SPEAKER_01]: And I think then the peace wouldn't be really possible in that case. [SPEAKER_11]: It also reminds me of the South Park episode, I don't know if anyone knows where I'm going with this, but the episode where they have the unified atheist alliance and the atheist league, it's like the otters and I can't remember the other animals now, but yeah.
[SPEAKER_11]: Basically, the gist of the episode being that humanity will always find something to fight about. [SPEAKER_11]: So in the absence of all religion, [SPEAKER_11]: We're still going to be fighting. [SPEAKER_11]: So I would imagine that some kind of similar theme would be in the next mass effect if we did see a continuation of that arc with synthesis.
[SPEAKER_11]: Genesis, what do you think? [SPEAKER_08]: I definitely think that a piece majority could rain, you know, even if there is some level of inviting or some level of, you know, little pockets of rebellions of resistance, there could still be a majority piece because you're right, people will always fight back.
[SPEAKER_08]: And I think that it would be very interesting to see what the next phase of human evolution is. [SPEAKER_08]: If we go through with synthesis and seeing how that would change the way that we think, the way that we speak, the way that we interact. [SPEAKER_08]: similar little goals, I guess, of continuing shepherd's dream of what galactic peace by choosing synthesis.
[SPEAKER_08]: So it would be very interesting to see what and nonically would happen after synthesis is chosen. [SPEAKER_11]: might help if I unmute. [SPEAKER_11]: Let's open this up to the rest of our patrons here because I want to hear from you guys about what you think about this idea of flashing out the posts, synthesis, ending and what kind of divisions or unity might exist after that.
[SPEAKER_11]: Just raise your hand if you want to jump in here and comment on it. [SPEAKER_11]: Magistrate, I see you got some thoughts on it. [SPEAKER_10]: I was just thinking about the potential for the cultures that you would encounter with the senses ending or if during that time frame afterward, something, a culture happened, that's still happening even outside of the senses.
[SPEAKER_10]: Like imagine landing on a planet that's completely since the citizens. [SPEAKER_10]: And you have, it's completely silent. [SPEAKER_10]: There's no sound, no noise, because all sound is being conducted internally amongst them. [SPEAKER_10]: And then you get there and you're just so loud.
[SPEAKER_10]: You're talking your movements. [SPEAKER_10]: I just everything about you is loud and you're basically a disruption in this area or think about [SPEAKER_10]: with everyone being in sync and conducting a move, like imagine a cold congregation of like a new synthesis religion and they like are able to push mountains or planets just because they're able to coordinate so strongly amongst each other.
[SPEAKER_11]: Can you imagine that the Super Bowl halftime show? [SPEAKER_11]: Oh my god, crazy. [SPEAKER_11]: It would be so good that they wouldn't even need to make an [SPEAKER_10]: all one just giant push, but yeah, just think the different cultures. [SPEAKER_10]: I mean, yeah, they're definitely wouldn't be multiple.
[SPEAKER_10]: It's because they're all united together. [SPEAKER_10]: And even if they're not, would you notice, would you know, I imagine they will be a more, more consensus based society. [SPEAKER_10]: Test situation. [SPEAKER_11]: you know what's so fascinating about that whole idea of a quiet planet is that when you first said that my first thought was uh well yeah like the people might not be talking but what about the animals and then I realized oh all of the animals are also going to be synthetic as well [SPEAKER_11]: and it would make sense if none of them are making any noise anymore because they don't need to communicate that way.
[SPEAKER_11]: So that would be a truly eerie experience landing on a planet and it is completely silent, save for like the wind or the waves or something. [SPEAKER_11]: and yet it's not like a dead planet, it's very much alive. [SPEAKER_11]: So yeah, you to get this juxtaposition of, well, we think of when we think of death and silence and emptiness and life.
[SPEAKER_11]: So yeah, I like that idea as well. [SPEAKER_11]: Retrobot, I saw you raised your hand. [SPEAKER_11]: Well, what are you thinking about? [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I was just thinking that, what's in the next game, you played as a descendant of basically the indromeda initiative. [SPEAKER_03]: So you're trying to re-establish a contact.
[SPEAKER_03]: So the whole Reaper War gets leaked. [SPEAKER_03]: They know the Reapers were a thing. [SPEAKER_03]: So they send a group back to figure out, hey, did the Reapers kill everybody? [SPEAKER_03]: What's going on? [SPEAKER_03]: And you show back up. [SPEAKER_03]: Also, you see a bunch of all these synthetic beans.
[SPEAKER_03]: They're like, oh, and you misinterpret it. [SPEAKER_03]: You're like, [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, the reapers turn like this larynx, the humans, every race into machines. [SPEAKER_03]: Like we need to retake the oldies and almost like a space crusade or something. [SPEAKER_11]: Oh, man. [SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, that would be.
[SPEAKER_11]: that would be nuts. [SPEAKER_11]: I mean, that journey back and forth would take a long time though, right? [SPEAKER_11]: So that might be, that might be a little bit of a hampering between, you know, how would that scout report back and what would happen after that? [SPEAKER_08]: I mean, long range communications could eventually be established, especially over the course of 500 years, right?
[SPEAKER_11]: sure and I guess they could write in some kind of justification like well you know like all of the energy dispersed from the crucible and through the mass relay is actually diverted or affected gravity and time to such an extent that it closed the distance between the Milky Way and in drama.
[SPEAKER_08]: science, science, magical hand wave, make it work. [SPEAKER_08]: And maybe after 10, 20 years, people in and drama decided, hey, we've established colonies. [SPEAKER_08]: They're up and working great. [SPEAKER_08]: And now it's time to head back to the Milky Way and report that there is a sect that we have another galaxy to go to.
[SPEAKER_08]: and then so maybe that was part of the plan all along and it just hadn't been unpacked yet. [SPEAKER_08]: And so then these people were already planning on coming back and they would start to be descendants of people from a drama that would travel back. [SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, yeah, that would be that I cannot imagine that they would look kindly on that with limited information too and especially if they were uh, keen on what happened with the initiative in the cat.
[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_11]: That's forgettable as the cat are. [SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, not the best enemies, but not the best, but yeah, you know, running from the board and then you get back to supposedly your home world and it's full of these half machine beings that look like you. [SPEAKER_11]: That'd be a little scary.
[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_11]: So, all right, well, [SPEAKER_02]: not too many. [SPEAKER_02]: I'm just sort of thinking, because I'm a whole and drunken citizen of the day, even once I capture them. [SPEAKER_02]: You know, 600, somebody who's will be able to evolve to, but they all evolve to a single very point where they'll just sort of look at the same and have the same sort of bodily juice.
[SPEAKER_02]: I don't know, it's a whole big concept, you know, [SPEAKER_11]: And after 600 years, I can imagine that there would be microcultures developing that didn't exist before, right? [SPEAKER_11]: Microcultures within different species now that kind of the racial boundaries have been knocked down by the synthetic and organic union.
[SPEAKER_11]: So, yeah, I can imagine that there would be a lot of cultural change in that 600 years, where who knows what it would do to life spans, right? [SPEAKER_11]: A lot of people that were around were probably around when they're crucible when off. [SPEAKER_11]: who knows. [SPEAKER_11]: So who knows what kind of, you know, where does the organic end and the synthetic begin?
[SPEAKER_11]: So that would all be something that we have to look into. [SPEAKER_11]: Well, Karina, thank you for that idea. [SPEAKER_11]: I think it's not often enough that we talk about. [SPEAKER_11]: you know, the implications of synthesis and what that might look like if it is partially or fully canonized in the next game.
[SPEAKER_11]: So I guess we'll see. [SPEAKER_11]: But thank you for that wonderful idea. [SPEAKER_11]: And with that, Genesis, let's go to the mid-break. [SPEAKER_11]: And when we get back, I want to hear from Redrabot and Day, and of course, Genesis, you and I probably have our own thoughts and ideas for a new [SPEAKER_11]: So, with that, let's go to the Mid-Break, and we will be right back.
[SPEAKER_06]: We have beef, bacon, we have beer, the foods of my people. [SPEAKER_00]: Young men have funny ideas of what a story are like. [SPEAKER_00]: I blame the extra net, and computer games. [SPEAKER_02]: Rex, Shepherd, Grant, Shepherd, Rex. [SPEAKER_11]: Alright, here we are in the middle of the show and this is typically the part where we will read out your five-star reviews if you've left them on Apple podcasts, but I just checked and it doesn't look like we have any new reviews today and I didn't see any new comments on our latest Spotify episode.
[SPEAKER_11]: That one was of course the robots radio specials so [SPEAKER_11]: If you enjoyed listening to the show, please let us know because I don't know about you Genesis, but it's like the highlight of my week when we get really nice comments that are thoughtful and say, hey, I like this episode, you should do more of this and that kind of thing.
[SPEAKER_11]: And of course, if you're able and willing, we [SPEAKER_11]: wouldn't be able to do this show without the kind donations of our supporters on Patreon. [SPEAKER_11]: And you can find out more. [SPEAKER_11]: I'm not going to do this whole, you know, marketing plug and not very good at that.
[SPEAKER_11]: So if you want to find out more, go to patreon.com slash mass effect lorcast. [SPEAKER_11]: But with that, Genesis, I do think that we have some new patrons we need to shout out [SPEAKER_11]: signed up. [SPEAKER_11]: I don't believe that we shouted out Keeley before did we? [SPEAKER_08]: We did.
[SPEAKER_08]: Keeley and offenders by joined in on when we talked the AI controlled ship part three. [SPEAKER_08]: So. [SPEAKER_11]: Gotcha. [SPEAKER_11]: All right. [SPEAKER_11]: I am behind the times, but we also of course need to shout out our tier 5 patrons as we do every single week. [SPEAKER_11]: And I actually have the Patreon page up here in front of me.
[SPEAKER_11]: so I'm purposely stalling until I can get my most current updated list and so you want to give a special thank you to day who is here with us as well as Reds Robot, Superfly 440, [SPEAKER_11]: for your support. [SPEAKER_11]: Again, this show, I don't think would be possible without people like you.
[SPEAKER_11]: So, I mean, check this out. [SPEAKER_11]: We're in 2026. [SPEAKER_11]: In fact, two weeks ago was the show's fifth anniversary. [SPEAKER_11]: I want to say, yeah, fifth anniversary. [SPEAKER_11]: So, we've gone five years and 200 and about 250 episodes. [SPEAKER_11]: uh, and we haven't had a single new game or even a TV show since then.
[SPEAKER_11]: So for all of our haters, keep hating, because it's working. [SPEAKER_11]: So, all right. [SPEAKER_11]: I think that's all we got for the middle of the show, Genesis, did I miss anything? [SPEAKER_08]: No, I think we're good. [SPEAKER_11]: Alright, let's get back with the rest of our new race ideas.
[SPEAKER_06]: After time, I drift among open stars, alongside the light and through shows of dust, I will return to where I began. [SPEAKER_05]: Celery and reproduction different, very little sex drive. [SPEAKER_05]: If intended to try human, would try you. [SPEAKER_05]: Out my bakeries! [SPEAKER_11]: all right, and we are back.
[SPEAKER_11]: And we were just discussing the continuation of the synthesis arc as a potential catalyst, but intended for a new species or new divisions in the next mass effect. [SPEAKER_11]: But Retrobot, I wanted to hear more about what your idea is for a new race in the next mass effect. [SPEAKER_11]: Walk me through that.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, so I've just been thinking that [SPEAKER_03]: Although Cerberus might not be around in the next game, like the effects they had on the universe will probably still be present. [SPEAKER_03]: So I had the idea that we know that Cerberus was investing a lot of money in time into researching the Medigil and trying to improve it for humans.
[SPEAKER_03]: So I was thinking, what if without the alliance is knowing all this on Medigil sent to human troops [SPEAKER_03]: also had some AI in it. [SPEAKER_03]: So in this next game, you have a mission where you basically had told that all of the sudden this group of Marines from the Reaper War where they all got wiped out, all of a sudden their life support has come back online.
[SPEAKER_03]: So you're sent down to investigate and all of a sudden you come across humans who aren't quite acting as [SPEAKER_03]: And it turns out that this AI manager is basically doing anything to keep them alive, even till point of basically forcing them to act like their lives. [SPEAKER_11]: So this sounds almost like an eldritch horror kind of situation.
[SPEAKER_11]: And if you're watching the video alone and you're wondering why I don't have my webcam on, it's because my dog decided that he wanted to rummage around by my PC, he must have knocked the cable loose or something. [SPEAKER_11]: So I'll have to fix that. [SPEAKER_11]: But I do want to hear more about where this kind of thing would go.
[SPEAKER_11]: What are you imagining as how this ties into the plot of the next Mass Effect? [SPEAKER_03]: I imagine that in the next game there's going to be a real discussion about AI and how artificial intelligence fits into the universe because it's been banned but then depending on how you acted in previous games, you may or may not have accepted the GIF.
[SPEAKER_03]: So then all the time there's this new AI and it's just a real debate now because they're like, well, are they human? [SPEAKER_03]: Are they machines? [SPEAKER_03]: Is it like bad that these machines are basically [SPEAKER_03]: can be alive? [SPEAKER_03]: Like do they even know that they're pretending to be alive?
[SPEAKER_03]: Like all that? [SPEAKER_03]: Is it like parasitic? [SPEAKER_03]: Should we just wipe out all the parasites? [SPEAKER_03]: Or are these actually like a new race for just in their taller phases figuring out how to be who they are? [SPEAKER_11]: Right. [SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, it's the blunt. [SPEAKER_11]: What even is life, man?
[SPEAKER_11]: Genesis, what are your thoughts on this? [SPEAKER_08]: Oh, okay. [SPEAKER_08]: So it sounded a little bit zombie when you first started talking about it. [SPEAKER_08]: This Medagell AI trying to keep people alive no matter the cost. [SPEAKER_08]: And I kind of like the idea because [SPEAKER_08]: When I first played Mass Effect 1, and I got to the husks, I was like, oh, okay, there's a little bit of, you know, a little bit of terror, a little bit of horror in here because they look like zombies when you're first playing through.
[SPEAKER_08]: And so, [SPEAKER_08]: I'm all four space zombies. [SPEAKER_08]: I think it would be very interesting. [SPEAKER_08]: I also think that it would be interesting to see what it would be like for an organic body to host something that is controlling it long term and to see if it would then integrate permanently and what would happen with reproduction.
[SPEAKER_08]: And would your kids have this be born with an AI already built in? [SPEAKER_08]: you're on to something weird there and I like it. [SPEAKER_11]: It the whole the whole some some kind of thing like taking over your body and want long-term repercussions what that would be. [SPEAKER_11]: I think some guy actually made a documentary about this.
[SPEAKER_11]: It's called Super Size Me. [SPEAKER_11]: I don't know if you ever seen it. [SPEAKER_11]: That's what happens if you eat too much McDonald's. [SPEAKER_11]: I'm kidding don't sue me McDonald's. [SPEAKER_11]: That's a joke. [SPEAKER_11]: take a joke. [SPEAKER_11]: But I'm going to open this up to the rest of our patrons here today you commented in chat and said it's sort of similar to your idea that you had.
[SPEAKER_02]: It's this is so funny that this line up, that's the flame, but I was like, my idea was more of an organic species, but I was on a big spider-man kid recently. [SPEAKER_02]: I was thinking, what if a sort of symbiotic creature that needed to other species to survive as monogenerate was in the mess effect of this?
[SPEAKER_02]: So it's just very funny that this line up this way. [SPEAKER_11]: with the symbiodes get an ambassador to the council. [SPEAKER_11]: I don't think so. [SPEAKER_11]: Maybe they would steal one. [SPEAKER_11]: They would steal an ambassador. [SPEAKER_11]: But yeah, all right, yeah, I feel like this, maybe you guys were watching some of the same media a lot recently or maybe it's just the effect of the current world state and what's going on with the news and terrible horrifying eldritch horrors.
[SPEAKER_11]: beyond our comprehension, that kind of thing, who knows, who knows? [SPEAKER_11]: Magister, what are your thoughts on this, you know, potential, Medigel-based AI taking control of organics like this? [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, whether it be an organic, what's a symbiot or AI, I would like for it to lean into a body horror.
[SPEAKER_10]: I think that you could definitely, especially, like, [SPEAKER_10]: Genesis says, with the husk at the very beginning or in Master XIII, if the service, if this is service manager, I mean, in that they've been using Reaper Tech to create it, then stand those symptoms of the mouse opening to wide like the Crogan ones or [SPEAKER_10]: I socket the biological matter of your eyes going away to the point where it's just blue lenses that shine people's in the skull patchwork skin.
[SPEAKER_10]: I think that it should be, like, especially if they go straight, gray goo and not to point at eating people but like spreading amongst the population. [SPEAKER_10]: you coming down and being like, oh my god, what is this? [SPEAKER_10]: And they're just like, hey, we're just people. [SPEAKER_10]: And then like the arm just like starts to like, there's just to be great potential for both humor as well as body horror at the same time.
[SPEAKER_10]: I think it would be a grand time. [SPEAKER_11]: They they invite the player character to like cook out and all of a sudden it becomes something that is absolutely terrifying and the player character needs to get out. [SPEAKER_11]: Something all like get out. [SPEAKER_10]: are falls off.
[SPEAKER_10]: Oh, there's just a flesh wound. [SPEAKER_10]: Give him my pocket on in there. [SPEAKER_10]: Let's leave. [SPEAKER_10]: Let's leave. [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_08]: But then also, you would be able to watch it reform, because if this is a metal gel AI, it would start to try and regrow that arm, and it would come out even more deform.
[SPEAKER_11]: What if it was like a little baby arm, like Deadpool? [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, little Deadpool arm. [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, and then EMP goes off and also and they just turn and look at you like he's killed me and then it just also starts smiling again It's just like a walks by a microwave that's on Yeah get it out get it out [SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, oh my god.
[SPEAKER_11]: That would be terrifying. [SPEAKER_11]: I think that we probably can't expect a little bit of space horror in the next Mass Effect because I feel like Mass Effect 1 did that pretty well without leaning to into like the eerie music in the background and look at these shadows a wall. [SPEAKER_11]: You know what I mean?
[SPEAKER_11]: It was more thought-provoking than, um, Mass Effect II kind of leaned into it with some of the things like the Overlord DLC, but that was, that was more I feel like psychological horror than it was actually body horror, like, like, uh, Magister here is talking about. [SPEAKER_11]: Um, [SPEAKER_11]: I don't know why it just came to me, but I should not have been surprised that retro bot centered this around Medigil because retro bot does have an axe to grind about the Medigil.
[SPEAKER_11]: Isn't that right? [SPEAKER_03]: Yes, yes, I do. [SPEAKER_03]: Not a fan of that drill at all. [SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, so sometimes the cure is worse than the treatment or the disease, right? [SPEAKER_11]: Anyway, something like that. [SPEAKER_11]: Korena, what do you think about this idea of somewhat sentient Medegelei taking over people's bodies, or a symbiotic one like day was describing?
[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I think it fits perfectly with Cerberus philosophy or other extremism group like that. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, the ends just to find the means. [SPEAKER_01]: We can do what we do, but better, because it creates like soldiers who would be faster and stronger and almost invincible. [SPEAKER_01]: So I would definitely see someone like Cerberus [SPEAKER_01]: create something like that.
[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, and I like that we all kind of, I think the implication here is that we all kind of agree that the possibility of server is playing a role in the next Mass Effect is high. [SPEAKER_11]: very high, especially because BioWare has always been this company that did not steer clear of social commentary for things that were going on contemporarily during development of the games.
[SPEAKER_11]: I don't need to beat a dead horse, but yeah, I can see servers being a common through line. [SPEAKER_07]: For sure, it'll be interesting to find out who's leaving servers next though. [SPEAKER_11]: True. [SPEAKER_11]: And of course, it's name servers, so maybe there's three heads, right?
[SPEAKER_11]: Maybe the elusive man was just one. [SPEAKER_11]: And there are two others that we didn't know about. [SPEAKER_11]: So. [SPEAKER_08]: And we lost and could have been a second one, but we don't know who the third is. [SPEAKER_11]: But if it was shepherd. [SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, something crazy and, and, and, um, try it like that.
[SPEAKER_11]: Alright, well, that was, uh, that was a really fun kind of horrific twist, I think, uh, for considering the next Mass Effect. [SPEAKER_11]: Day, I know that you said that your idea was more of like the symbiote, uh, taking over people, but maybe you can expand upon that a little bit, or if you had another idea, you might [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, yeah, my idea was basically this like a species that doesn't really have a form that does like it's not evil per se and it doesn't really quote unquote think.
[SPEAKER_02]: But it bonds to a host and it's can be detrimental, but it can also be beneficial. [SPEAKER_02]: Mine was more like, you know, increased neurological functions, maybe a little bit faster reflexes, and it could go bad, you never know. [SPEAKER_11]: Could go bad. [SPEAKER_02]: So you're also talking to probably not be your old bad tone.
[SPEAKER_11]: So maybe this would be something similar to like that fun guy that takes over animals brains, right? [SPEAKER_11]: The court accepts, I think it is. [SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, maybe it would be something similar to that. [SPEAKER_11]: But what to what degree were you imagining that it would actually physically alter someone's body?
[SPEAKER_11]: Whereas maybe it would just be like kind of an invisible thing where you didn't know if you were talking to someone with this symbiote in them. [SPEAKER_02]: It could be, but I get, I'm, I'm more matching, like, given all those over enough time with, like, how compatible the host is to the, you know, uh, creature that you could tell that this was not the same person you want snoop.
[SPEAKER_02]: So it could be like, say, grain skin, they're here falling out there skin, just feeling more like a therapist, or like a stretch of your feathery sort of material. [SPEAKER_11]: What are you looking at smooth skin? [SPEAKER_11]: So they're like there. [SPEAKER_02]: You know, maybe, you know, it's gonna be just more fit to, you know, like a smooth edge, you know.
[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: So it's not like almost indistinguishable what this is. [SPEAKER_11]: That would be kind of cool. [SPEAKER_11]: Or if it was like a shapeshifting, symbiote kind of thing, we could get like, ooh, we could get like, my steaks in the next mass effect. [SPEAKER_02]: I want to see the real, you know, the steaks underneath me.
[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_11]: All right. [SPEAKER_11]: Why I want to open this up as well. [SPEAKER_11]: Any thoughts on, you know, a kind of symbiote race, taking over people in the next mass effect and should they be considered like like equals? [SPEAKER_11]: Should they have equal protection under Citadel law, even though they're not intelligent life like we know that, what do you think, Genesis?
[SPEAKER_08]: So that's a very tricky question to get into about whether or not sentience is a prerequisite for being considered a human or not human, but being considered alive. [SPEAKER_08]: If the Simiote is able to communicate while it has a host and can speak separately from the host, then I would say, yes, they should have some form of rights.
[SPEAKER_08]: They should be able to do that. [SPEAKER_08]: if we are able to provide a host body for them to acquire. [SPEAKER_08]: Because we've talked about like the virtual aliens getting death bodies and taking over those. [SPEAKER_08]: Maybe these symbiotes could have something along the lines of those and figure out a way to make it work, adapt themselves to [SPEAKER_08]: So it would be a lot of time and process and figuring it out if we could make it work, but we talked about it in our AI episodes, our virtual aliens episodes, about how it's not really cool to have something really hake over your body, consentually or not.
[SPEAKER_11]: So yeah, yeah, there needs to be a safe word definitely. [SPEAKER_11]: Yes. [SPEAKER_11]: definitely needs to be a safe word um i'm also thinking like okay if we are going to give these symbiote's bodies like maybe we can start with like udeena can we start with denela dena maybe because it's i though i don't think it could get worse i probably an improvement [SPEAKER_11]: Gavin Archer, Gavin Archer, who's the biggest asshole in Mass Effect, besides the elusive man.
[SPEAKER_01]: Kiling. [SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, there we go, Kiling. [SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, that would that would be an improvement, at least if he was like evil after the symbiote, he'd probably be less cringe. [SPEAKER_11]: Lisa would be like, oh, okay, you're evil, but you're like kind of a cool evil, you're not like a cringy evil anymore.
[SPEAKER_08]: The symbiot would make him take off those stupid goggles. [SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, can you imagine kayling with like a venom in him? [SPEAKER_08]: Oh, damn it, now he looks kind of cool in my head. [SPEAKER_11]: Man, we just made Kailang cool, what the hell are we doing? [SPEAKER_11]: Alright, well, we are getting toward the end of the show here, uh, Genesis, I want to hear what kind of idea you have for a new race for the next Mass Effect.
[SPEAKER_08]: So everybody went with something completely thought-provoking. [SPEAKER_08]: But here, I was just kind of missing my cat all week, being away from home and then I realized, Mass Effect doesn't really have any interactable pets. [SPEAKER_08]: We have the fish that we can feed. [SPEAKER_08]: Okay, we have the hamster that when you look at him, he runs away and hides in his little box.
[SPEAKER_08]: You have the varine, which the only one that we get to really interact with is hers if you're dating Jack in Mass Effect 3 at the Citadel DLC, and then you get to punch a piejack. [SPEAKER_08]: Our most really are the only animals we get to see an interact with. [SPEAKER_08]: So I want a shipcat.
[SPEAKER_08]: I want cats in Mass Effect. [SPEAKER_11]: I actually don't know anything about the lore of cats, like domesticated cats, and whether they exist still in Mass Effect. [SPEAKER_08]: I hope, though, like why would cats be eradicated from Earth? [SPEAKER_11]: I don't know, but I feel like I now might be confusing this with another game series, but I feel like it is stated in the lore that domesticated dogs died off a long time ago.
[SPEAKER_08]: Hmm, I mean, that happened in cyberpunk. [SPEAKER_08]: I don't know if it happened in math. [SPEAKER_11]: That might be what I'm thinking about. [SPEAKER_11]: As well as Starfield, I think Starfield also, I think Claire Fudden, dog's died off, which is sad, as very sad. [SPEAKER_11]: I would love a dog in math's fact as well.
[SPEAKER_11]: Can I have, can I have a German Shepherd and name and commander, please? [SPEAKER_11]: Okay, if I get a cat and I'll name it commander kitten there we go, and I'll have commander the shepherd Yeah, all right. [SPEAKER_11]: Well, that would be really fun that'd be really fun having ship cat and why not expand it to like ship pets [SPEAKER_08]: yep there's that or we could make it a little bit more sci-fi and maybe give like the cat two tails or have it be something that's not necessarily an earth cat but on another planet we find something that's very similar to domesticated cats and that that can be the one that gets on the ship.
[SPEAKER_11]: Like, what do they called in, um, in D&D, tressums? [SPEAKER_11]: Displacer. [SPEAKER_11]: No, displacer titties. [SPEAKER_11]: No, not displacer. [SPEAKER_11]: Holy crap. [SPEAKER_11]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_11]: Well, one of those roaming around the ship, uh, but I was thinking like, tressent like gale's cat and boulders.
[SPEAKER_08]: Oh, okay. [SPEAKER_08]: So that's a tressum, the cat with wings. [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_08]: But you need to look up artwork for displacer kittens and then you'll be like, okay, maybe. [SPEAKER_11]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_11]: All right. [SPEAKER_11]: I will. [SPEAKER_11]: I will do that.
[SPEAKER_11]: All right. [SPEAKER_11]: What do you guys think of, you know, patrons? [SPEAKER_11]: What do you think about having ship pets in the next mass-factor ones that are not just a hamster? [SPEAKER_01]: I like that. [SPEAKER_01]: You know, I love ferrets. [SPEAKER_01]: I love cats. [SPEAKER_01]: So yeah.
[SPEAKER_01]: I agree. [SPEAKER_01]: And you know how, I think that everybody who played Mass Effect, [SPEAKER_01]: really like the space hamster and the fish, so I think everybody would be so happy to have pets on board. [SPEAKER_11]: It'd be really cool, yeah. [SPEAKER_11]: Why not peel the like-take them planet side as well, you know, or like bring them to combat?
[SPEAKER_11]: Hell, have a ranger class, [SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, your entire cabin just smells like done. [SPEAKER_11]: And it's constantly loud. [SPEAKER_11]: Your love interest when you invite them up there is like, Why don't we go down to my quarters instead? [SPEAKER_08]: That's why we have Kelly. [SPEAKER_08]: She's there to clean out the cages.
[SPEAKER_11]: I don't trust Kelly, not around Veran. [SPEAKER_11]: That's animal abuse. [SPEAKER_11]: That's problematic. [SPEAKER_11]: It's what it is. [SPEAKER_11]: All right. [SPEAKER_11]: Any other thoughts on ship pets possibly bringing them planets out as well? [SPEAKER_10]: I'm just picturing like how I read an article about crimson desert where people aren't playing the side quests.
[SPEAKER_10]: They're just collecting an army of kids because you can like get animals by befriending them in the game. [SPEAKER_10]: people just having a swarm of cat cats around with them. [SPEAKER_10]: So not going to lie when you first mentioned his genesis. [SPEAKER_10]: I just imagine like flurkins from Marvel, like goose from Marvel, and then just having this cat and then all of a sudden a crow becomes in like, it was just dumb animal and it just mouse opens and it's just a tentacle horror.
[SPEAKER_10]: I think it's the crow again. [SPEAKER_10]: I think that would be hilarious. [SPEAKER_08]: Yep, there we go, give me a fork and give me a fork and on my ship. [SPEAKER_11]: Name it, Tony. [SPEAKER_08]: Yes. [SPEAKER_11]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_11]: All right, well, I, uh, I had like kind of a similar idea.
[SPEAKER_11]: Um, not really, but definitely inspired by my pet. [SPEAKER_11]: Uh, so I've been, you know, like taking care of my new dog and and hanging out with him constantly and he's actually sprawled out on my bed right now. [SPEAKER_11]: Uh, but [SPEAKER_11]: I've been thinking about like, man, you know, we just don't see in sci-fi.
[SPEAKER_11]: We don't see like many dog people races. [SPEAKER_11]: I would love to see a dog person race. [SPEAKER_11]: by fallen nubis yeah like going for like like kind of like a nubis not not nearly like god of the death god of the dead kind of thing but like like you know like and they could even lean into some funny tropes like oh squirrel you know chasing ball around you know that kind of thing [SPEAKER_11]: It could be kind of a funny, wouldn't have to take center stage just be kind of like a, you know, comedic relief in the background, kind of thing.
[SPEAKER_11]: Failing that, I think it'd be also kind of funny to stumble upon a like a uncharted world or a planet and make first contact with another species. [SPEAKER_11]: So you are the person who has first come into contact with them in the Milky Way. [SPEAKER_11]: And let's say that it was, I don't know, primate like race, which was not always the apex race on its planet, but eventually rose up and over through its oppressors.
[SPEAKER_11]: that would be kind of like a really funny cool Easter egg and it wouldn't really necessarily need to go anywhere, but you could have maybe 30, 40 lines of dialogue just for like two or three NPCs when you land there. [SPEAKER_08]: I like it. [SPEAKER_08]: I like the idea of a dog that you can interact with and talk to, you know, that's not the dog from up.
[SPEAKER_08]: I think it would be very, very interesting, and also, the ape one also sounds very interesting, especially like planted as the apes, everybody's kind of kind of knows of this story, and being able to see it in a sci-fi setting, it would be [SPEAKER_08]: You could get a lot of good content out of that.
[SPEAKER_08]: For sure. [SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, basically I would I would just want something where you kind of stumble upon it and to your first reaction is what the fuck is this? [SPEAKER_11]: I want more of that in the next Mass Effect. [SPEAKER_11]: I want more stumbling upon things and just being like what the fuck am I even looking at man?
[SPEAKER_11]: Like I'm gonna think about it for a little bit. [SPEAKER_11]: So, all right, any final thoughts from anyone about any of the races, the new races that we talked about? [SPEAKER_11]: Feel free to just jump right in. [SPEAKER_11]: It is getting late, so I'm not surprised at the silence at all.
[SPEAKER_11]: All right, Genesis, you got something you want to say? [SPEAKER_08]: Magister dead. [SPEAKER_11]: Oh, Magister, sorry, it didn't see your hand. [SPEAKER_10]: No, you're good. [SPEAKER_10]: I would say is a dog people like the cajits where it's like you have the more domesticated looking version and then like this major wall giant type and then like the regular bipedal types.
[SPEAKER_11]: Hell yeah, why not have like dire wolves and then like chihuahua people why not? [SPEAKER_11]: that'd be funny. [SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, I don't see any problem with that. [SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, that'd be kind of funny, but all right, it is getting late, so and we are past an hour at this point, I think, so why don't we go ahead and wrap up the show and we'll go around and say anything that you want to shout out to anything that you're working on or what you're looking forward to in the near future.
[SPEAKER_11]: will go from left to right on my screen starting with you day anything that you're working on anything you want to shout out or anything that you're looking forward to. [SPEAKER_02]: I had nothing much work being done right now. [SPEAKER_02]: I'm still. [SPEAKER_02]: you know, but together stuff in the background, I don't know if you still worry about it.
[SPEAKER_02]: But if you have mostly day zero, and mostly everything out there, the intro ramps, about some of the main blue sky dreads, actually, and not whatever his grandpa's Sam likes to draw at me had two AM. [SPEAKER_02]: I'm looking forward, I'm working through the accuses series, trying to like a dragon, just started to accuse of five, until I have a phone with it.
[SPEAKER_02]: And there's a game that RGQ is currently written on, called the Strangerthin Head, it's supposed to have a direct call. [SPEAKER_02]: May 7th, so I'm on the lookout for that. [SPEAKER_11]: definitely. [SPEAKER_11]: I'll be watching for that as well. [SPEAKER_11]: And yes, I am that guy that's scrolling on Instagram looking at memes and sending them to my friends at that 2am.
[SPEAKER_11]: So that's just, that's just what I do. [SPEAKER_11]: Genesis, anything that you're working on anything you want to shout out and what is the next couple of weeks look like for you. [SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, so as always, I have my two other podcasts, the two girls, one ship where we analyze rate and review all of the world of video game romances has to offer and on the cyberpunk forecast where we explore the foundations of the past, the state of night city today and the news of the future for all things cyberpunk.
[SPEAKER_08]: I have a little bit more family time hanging [SPEAKER_08]: Gosh, I'm not even really playing anything right now. [SPEAKER_08]: I don't have any, any games, anything new that I'm playing right now. [SPEAKER_08]: I'm kind of replaying some older stuff. [SPEAKER_11]: Well, that could only mean one thing.
[SPEAKER_11]: more a win, more a win to play through. [SPEAKER_08]: That's what you've got in the process of defeating Sin and Final Fantasy X. [SPEAKER_08]: That's kind of what I have been playing. [SPEAKER_11]: There you go. [SPEAKER_11]: And eventually I'll get you to set up some kind of webcam so we can play magic over discord or something.
[SPEAKER_11]: So anyway, I'll just keep annoying you about until we do it. [SPEAKER_11]: So I have been [SPEAKER_11]: So that's an open call to anyone who wants to play commander. [SPEAKER_11]: Let me know. [SPEAKER_11]: Retrobot. [SPEAKER_11]: What are you guys going on and how can people get the whole of you and what do you want to shout out?
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I'm a red trobat in the discord. [SPEAKER_03]: If anyone wants to talk about how stupid metal gel is, uh, number wise, I'm moving. [SPEAKER_03]: Here soon, so I may be a little busy. [SPEAKER_03]: Next six months or so, but. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, just reach out to me on the discord.
[SPEAKER_03]: She won't talk or whatever. [SPEAKER_11]: Well, moving can often be a dangerous endeavor. [SPEAKER_11]: So I hope that you stay safe and I hope the move goes as smoothly as possible. [SPEAKER_11]: And you settle back in, back at home, wherever that is going to be. [SPEAKER_11]: So, uh, Magister, got anything that you're working on, anything you want to shout out and one of the next couple weeks look like for you.
[SPEAKER_10]: Nothing to shout out right now. [SPEAKER_10]: Measure the video on Discord. [SPEAKER_10]: If you want to feel free to talk about random character building or world building, like we just did tonight. [SPEAKER_10]: definitely down for that. [SPEAKER_10]: Things looking forward to a webinar with that I got done reading a couple years back called release ad which which is a is a guy uplifting civilization uplifting story.
[SPEAKER_10]: Just got an anime itself in Crunchyroll. [SPEAKER_10]: So they're excited for that one even though they're the dialogue is behind on the most recent episode on the [SPEAKER_10]: A lot of thing was the verb, so that's going to need to be fixed. [SPEAKER_10]: Outside of that, looking forward to next year, we got two Mass Effect likes coming out.
