[SPEAKER_02]: I'm Commander Shepherd, and this is my favorite lorecast on the Citadel. [SPEAKER_11]: Welcome to the Mass Effect lorecast. [SPEAKER_11]: I'm in seven the legend. [SPEAKER_05]: And I'm Genesis. [SPEAKER_05]: Join us. [SPEAKER_11]: As we explore along tides of light. [SPEAKER_11]: And through sholes of dust.
[SPEAKER_11]: To see where this lore began. [SPEAKER_05]: And consider where it may go. [SPEAKER_11]: Specters, welcome back to another faceless. [SPEAKER_11]: This is a faceless episode of the Mass Effect Lurecast this week or at least half faceless because I don't have my camera on. [SPEAKER_11]: We can thank my dog for that one.
[SPEAKER_11]: Joining me as always is my lively, my audacious, my bodacious co-host, Genesis. [SPEAKER_11]: Genesis, how's it going? [SPEAKER_05]: The audacity. [SPEAKER_05]: No, I love the, I love the descriptions this week, Sam. [SPEAKER_05]: I appreciate it. [SPEAKER_11]: I put some extra effort in this week.
[SPEAKER_05]: You know, you did. [SPEAKER_05]: No, it's been, it's been good. [SPEAKER_05]: I wasn't able to record last night and not always sucks when that can't happen. [SPEAKER_05]: But today's been a much better day for me and my family. [SPEAKER_05]: So I felt good and comfortable being able to be here tonight with the Mass Effect crew.
[SPEAKER_05]: And I am so happy because [SPEAKER_05]: Damn. [SPEAKER_05]: Do we have a full house tonight? [SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, we do. [SPEAKER_11]: It is the end of the month patron chat for May 2026 and we have, let's see, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 of our tier 4 and higher patrons with us. [SPEAKER_11]: I would go around the horn and just let everyone say hello, but there's a lot of [SPEAKER_11]: All right, it has to be an alien.
[SPEAKER_11]: All right, so think about it. [SPEAKER_11]: Shouldn't take that long. [SPEAKER_11]: One, two, three. [SPEAKER_11]: Tally. [SPEAKER_11]: Tally. [SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, Jar Jar Binks, there we go. [SPEAKER_11]: Okay, he's also my, I guess I should have specified favorite alien from Mass Effect, but I'm also there with you on the Jar Jar Binks' love.
[SPEAKER_11]: That's a pre-show chat joke. [SPEAKER_11]: And that's what you're missing. [SPEAKER_11]: If you haven't signed up on our Patreon, you get uncut episodes. [SPEAKER_11]: So, this week, we're not going to be talking about George R. Binks, much to my Shagrin. [SPEAKER_11]: Instead, the patrons have decided they want to talk about combat classes, specifically the pure classes.
[SPEAKER_11]: Let's talk about which pure classes the best and what do you mean by pure class? [SPEAKER_11]: Well, let's pure combat, soldier, pure tech engineer or pure biotic, add it. [SPEAKER_11]: And we'll go over which class, which class among those is the best, but we're also going to talk about what is our favorite combination class.
[SPEAKER_11]: So then we have Vanguard, Sentinel, or Infiltrator. [SPEAKER_11]: And then, of course, if we have time at the end, we're going to go into what classes we would want to see in the next game. [SPEAKER_11]: And whether those are new classes or old classes, I'll leave it up to you guys. [SPEAKER_11]: Maybe we can create some new combos of classes and get creative here.
[SPEAKER_11]: But without further ado, why don't we get this kicked off? [SPEAKER_11]: which pure class is the best class. [SPEAKER_11]: And I see big bills taking a sip from his drink. [SPEAKER_11]: So I will target him with his first question. [SPEAKER_11]: Big bills, what is the best pure class? [SPEAKER_03]: Okay, you're asking me in a Donald Trump.
[SPEAKER_03]: So I'm going to go with not the white race, but the blue race. [SPEAKER_03]: Now I'm blank, because I've had too much to drink already. [SPEAKER_11]: He's got concepts of an answer. [SPEAKER_03]: Yes, that's what I'm going to answer. [SPEAKER_03]: Yes, the shit. [SPEAKER_11]: We can come back.
[SPEAKER_03]: You know what I mean, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the, the [SPEAKER_03]: then it's the best class.
[SPEAKER_03]: We get it nerfed. [SPEAKER_03]: I think when we play as shepherd as a Sentinel or not, Jesus Christ as a biotic. [SPEAKER_03]: But if you look at what the biotics can do as the assories and they're fully powerful, they're flying through the air, lifting, slamming. [SPEAKER_03]: There's no reason they can't grab a ship and knock it down.
[SPEAKER_11]: Okay, that would be like some Darth Vader level biotics, but yeah, I kind of I get where you go into that whole space magic deal Genesis seemed like you had something you wanted to say [SPEAKER_05]: Well, and especially regarding there is a very specific scene in Mass Effect 3, where Samara does the whole flying and floating down from the staircase and Shepherd and Caden can actually talk about that if they are both biotics in the party and Shepherd will ask Caden, why can't you do that?
[SPEAKER_05]: and kids like because I haven't trained or practiced give me six weeks and I could probably do it for you. [SPEAKER_05]: So it's because we as Shepherd haven't taken the time to learn that specific skill set or else we could. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I guess I think I feel like it's nerfed from what the Asari can do as a pure biotic.
[SPEAKER_11]: So I want to open this up to the rest of the group here so people can get their thoughts in. [SPEAKER_11]: How do you feel about what Big Bill's just said about adept being the best class because of the different utility that biotics provides that perhaps combat and tech cannot? [SPEAKER_11]: And go ahead, Mitch, go ahead.
[SPEAKER_09]: So, I, I fully agree, but it's also because adept gives you access to one of the most unique things about Mass Effect. [SPEAKER_09]: It gives you access to the easo and being an adept. [SPEAKER_09]: Like soldier, you shoot things. [SPEAKER_09]: Well, if I wanted to just shoot things, you know, there's Call of Duty, there's Martin Warfare, there's, you know, there's a war take your pick, shoot something.
[SPEAKER_09]: But you get to throw stuff. [SPEAKER_09]: but also I would say it would pin on the game that you're playing. [SPEAKER_09]: That's fact one. [SPEAKER_09]: There's a little little, as he says, it's toned down. [SPEAKER_09]: Whereas three, I feel like you really, you really get to experience some more of what being an adept can do.
[SPEAKER_11]: And there's a little bit of a difference or disparity I should say in the strength of biotics in the lore and like how they're talked about, versus how they're shown on screen, right? [SPEAKER_11]: I feel like in the lore and how they're talked about, it's almost like facing superheroes.
[SPEAKER_11]: You know what I mean? [SPEAKER_11]: Everyone is terrified of a skilled biotic. [SPEAKER_11]: Not everyone is terrified of like a very skilled engineer. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, that's what I'm getting at in the lore. [SPEAKER_03]: They're almost like, you know, a Jedi or a Sith or, you know, Superman or whatever, but we don't get that, but if you look at the lore of it, it's why I call them the best.
[SPEAKER_11]: Gotcha. [SPEAKER_11]: And you know what, I, I just, the thought just occurred to me, perhaps the best format for doing this is kind of going through since there's only three peer classes we can go through who agrees with which one I want to hear from another person in the group here that agrees with big bills that adept is the best class, perhaps you have different reasoning for thinking so at boy.
[SPEAKER_04]: because I just finished my latest playthrough of the series as an inch and now and it's just it's so boring. [SPEAKER_04]: By the combat drone, it's just underwhelming the century tower than trees, underwhelming, but it's just really fun. [SPEAKER_04]: It's hard to beat. [SPEAKER_11]: Okay, rule of cool.
[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, definitely. [SPEAKER_11]: Especially in Mass Effect 3, right? [SPEAKER_11]: That biotic charge is dope anyone else anyone else a big fan of the adept class as opposed to the engineer and and soldier one Magister Definitely more team adept [SPEAKER_10]: because you could just literally cause chaos throughout the whole board, throw a singularity in there, and then once they're all circling around it, throw a pole or whatever just to discharge, warp, whatever else.
[SPEAKER_10]: It's literally in the class where you are the problem. [SPEAKER_10]: You're going to battlefield, and if you're good enough in skill-wise, you're an army killer. [SPEAKER_10]: You can take down a significant [SPEAKER_10]: those comics that you guys went over with Leara, like the crazy stuff that she was doing in them, like they can't show that all that in the game, but biotics is definitely just your attire when you're on the field.
[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, and in Magister, I know that you like tabletop RPGs as well, which lend a level of creativity to the kind of gameplay that you could do, that the games just cannot suffice. [SPEAKER_11]: Like, I think Genesis probably knows where I'm going with this Genesis, and I end, Mitch, actually all ran a Mass Effect 5E campaign where I feel like in terms of roleplay aspect, the [SPEAKER_11]: give us a third dimension to that role play.
[SPEAKER_11]: What do you think, Genesis? [SPEAKER_05]: Oh, I totally agree with you on that. [SPEAKER_05]: The fact that we were able to combine moves together because I was a program all about the brute force and strength of it, but you were able to biotically throw something and I was able to whack it out of the air.
[SPEAKER_05]: Like that's the way that you were able to play in a more relaxed setting where you have more control over rather than just in a video game setting where everything's kind of preset how combat can go. [SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, and Mitch, you were actually the DM or I should say GM of that campaign.
[SPEAKER_11]: What did you think being on that side of it? [SPEAKER_09]: I mean, as GM, you have to be able to expect the unexpected, and even with years of experience, biotics, you get some crazy ideas that you can just do, and it's like, I don't see why not. [SPEAKER_09]: Let's give it a roll and see what your dice say, as really the best I feel like I can say sometimes.
[SPEAKER_09]: It's like this idea could work. [SPEAKER_09]: You want to put biotically rip down this building, show, try. [SPEAKER_11]: Let's see, let's see those roles. [SPEAKER_11]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_11]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_11]: I think, yeah, Genesis, you're talking about the combos with the combat ability.
[SPEAKER_11]: I just thinkly remember launching a couple of server troops into the stratosphere, uh, with, with the botic land's detonation. [SPEAKER_11]: Um, but all right, let's, let's open this back up. [SPEAKER_11]: Um, anyone else on the adept train, or perhaps we go to the next one in engineer.
[SPEAKER_11]: Who thinks that engineer is the best pure class or I should say is there anyone here who thinks that engineer is the best pure class? [SPEAKER_11]: I'm not seeing any hands go up. [SPEAKER_05]: That's a no from me engineer has so far has been one of my least favorite classes play mainly because they specialize in snipers in sniper weaponry, especially in Mass Effect one and that for me is just too slow and I am much more in your face in my combat style so I can't be the one that's way far in the back.
[SPEAKER_11]: right. [SPEAKER_11]: I will quote you on that one. [SPEAKER_11]: So engineer not a single fan here, but we'll just skip over to combat or I should say soldier with combat specialization. [SPEAKER_11]: I want to hear from the rest of you why you think that the soldier specialization is actually the best pure class.
[SPEAKER_11]: And I see retrobots and going up. [SPEAKER_02]: It's like, don't get me wrong, it depth is fun, but you're not shepherd isn't on the battlefield by himself. [SPEAKER_02]: It's a whole quad combat game and you have a lot of teammates who are a lot better using biox than shepherd is. [SPEAKER_02]: So, but like you really have to get down to which specializations going to bounce best out with all your squad mates and if you're a soldier.
[SPEAKER_02]: Shepherd can be the most effective soldier out of all the squadmates. [SPEAKER_02]: Compared to these not as effective as in a biotic user is a lot of the other squadmates. [SPEAKER_05]: Okay. [SPEAKER_05]: Hi. [SPEAKER_05]: It's always good. [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_11]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_11]: That's an interesting perspective in terms of division of labor, that kind of idea.
[SPEAKER_11]: All right. [SPEAKER_11]: I saw Baterian butt shots hand go up for the soldier class. [SPEAKER_11]: Why do you think that's the best peer class? [SPEAKER_12]: So I think so, just the best one for Shepherd, some reasons for that would be, I think the timeline for Shepherd being adept is a bit problematic, but in the engineer like Shepherd can essentially romance whoever you want, I can't see an engineer being able to do that, but a soldier who can't soldier Shepherd would definitely be able to do that.
[SPEAKER_12]: And it just sort of fits his character a bit more. [SPEAKER_12]: He's a bit of a human tank. [SPEAKER_12]: It takes a lot of punishment to keep going, whether it's the end of Mass Effect 1 with the Clash of the Citadel and somehow surviving through that potentially surviving that the end of episode 3 depending on which ending you choose, those sort of things.
[SPEAKER_12]: And yet, the full array of guns and being able to take fire and shoot fire is something that's really fun to do. [SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, okay. [SPEAKER_11]: So the Terrain Bloodshot says that engineer Shepard does not, in fact, fuck. [SPEAKER_11]: Karina, what do you think about soldier being the best pure class?
[SPEAKER_07]: Well, I don't have a strong opinion on that, and I agree with everything you said about a depth class, but I'm going to have to take the soldier's side here for personal taste maybe, but I like having access to every weapon. [SPEAKER_07]: There's something really satisfying about that raw power that you can have.
[SPEAKER_07]: I agree that you can play other games that will give you this, but I like Mass Effect because of the story, the relationships, but I would really miss my uncharted aside of just shooting people. [SPEAKER_07]: Sorry for saying that, but yes, I like the story class because of that. [SPEAKER_05]: own at Karina, because I'm right there with you.
[SPEAKER_05]: There are definitely a lot of games where if I wanted to just go play running gun, I totally could. [SPEAKER_05]: But it's the storyline of Mass Effect that we keep coming back to, and it's why normally my Mass Effect one shepherd is a soldier. [SPEAKER_05]: And then I mean, too, I switched it up, but for me, it's all about being able to wear the heavy armor as well, because not only can I shoot with whatever gun that I want to be using.
[SPEAKER_05]: But I can also take a hit because I'm wearing heavy armor. [SPEAKER_05]: And none of your other human squad mates besides Ashley is able to wear the heavy armor. [SPEAKER_05]: So why it's like I got to be able to put it to good use somewhere because Ashley never survives in my playthrough.
[SPEAKER_05]: So at armors going to waste. [SPEAKER_05]: I also, and what Retro was saying about how you can then manipulate your squad to be the biotic and then the techie engineer that goes along with you, that's my main squad and ME1 is my shoulder-shepard, Caden, and Garrison. [SPEAKER_05]: That's all I need for pretty much the entire game, and we're good to go.
[SPEAKER_11]: Thank you for bringing up the heavy armor because I totally blanked on that. [SPEAKER_11]: I totally forgot that basically soldier is the only one that can wear it And I blanked on that because I always glitch the game I always like before I played with mods. [SPEAKER_11]: I'd always do that one glitch where you could put any armor on anyone So I just give everyone the heavy armor everyone's wearing Colossus 10 hell yeah All right, well, boy, I see your hand up [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, like that's why I like build a little bit more Genesis said that's can't like that's an interesting thing about the different classes throughout the free games because rather not unique in one I think in one they have the most like the most defined differences between them because you have more more skills you can build into
[SPEAKER_04]: and like throughout the games like that like rich classes that most powerful the best one changes and evolves. [SPEAKER_11]: Right on right on Mitch see your hand up. [SPEAKER_09]: Right, so I'm just a kind of counter on the idea that you don't, don't utilize the guns as an adaptor, you utilize the guns as an adaptor.
[SPEAKER_09]: But particularly moving forward into like three, where you can really customize out your load so that you can handle [SPEAKER_09]: If you needed a bigger gun, you strap in some, you put on a little extra weight capacity on your character, you do a little weight loss on the guns and I can rock a heavier hitting a salt rifle and still throw out a singularity and a throw without hurting my ability to continue doing that.
[SPEAKER_09]: And it's only a three thing versus like one and two where armor armor was really restricted in one and armor and two really didn't seem to matter. [SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, that's a fair point three opened up a lot of different gameplay possibilities big bills you want to chime in. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, a couple of things one when Karina said she just.
[SPEAKER_03]: wants to go shoot guns as much as be because she's in Canada and that doesn't happen at every school here. [SPEAKER_03]: There has it as here. [SPEAKER_03]: So, you know, it's okay. [SPEAKER_03]: It's okay. [SPEAKER_03]: We get it. [SPEAKER_03]: You're not in the US. [SPEAKER_03]: You don't live in it every day.
[SPEAKER_03]: Um, but no, I do think she's right. [SPEAKER_03]: Enter. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm stuck. [SPEAKER_03]: Of M. E. One is kind of difficult, but in most of you in the two, even as a purer by audit, you get the ability on [SPEAKER_03]: one of the collector ships to carry an assault rifle or shotgun depending, and I was just got the assault rifle, and then it's singularity, bring them up, shoot, shoot, blow up the singularity, and then you kind of walk through, and then M3, that's open a little a lot more.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I mean, as a totality, but as you're right, M1, it is rough, rough. [SPEAKER_03]: As a biode, I guess a lot easier to solder. [SPEAKER_11]: Right on, well guys, we got a, uh, I managed to see that you wanted to show him in, maybe he can hold your thought because we do have to go to the next part, which is discussing our favorite combination class.
[SPEAKER_11]: So Vanguard, Sentinel, or Infiltrator. [SPEAKER_11]: Uh, let's just start with Vanguard, uh, show of hands here. [SPEAKER_11]: How many of you think that Vanguard is the best combination class? [SPEAKER_11]: see one hand two hands. [SPEAKER_11]: Wow, really. [SPEAKER_11]: Only two. [SPEAKER_11]: Okay, three hands.
[SPEAKER_03]: All right. [SPEAKER_03]: It's advantage of the engineer and soldier. [SPEAKER_11]: Biotic. [SPEAKER_11]: Biotic and soldier. [SPEAKER_03]: Okay. [SPEAKER_11]: So you've got three hands. [SPEAKER_11]: Magister, since you wanted to chime in on the last one, too, I'll start with you. [SPEAKER_11]: Why do you think that Vanguard is the best combo class?
[SPEAKER_10]: Because if you, if you haven't tried doing a biotic charge before, you're missing out on gameplay, like there's nothing better when you're a full like 20 30 feet away from an enemy, they're just shooting at you and also and you just hear this, and it's just wow, right in front of them. [SPEAKER_10]: shotgun ready, taking them out right there.
[SPEAKER_10]: On top of that, they had different abilities that you inspect into it so that once you did the violet charge, you not only charged, you did a shockwave that killed everyone in the immediate area as well. [SPEAKER_10]: then guards are a menace on the field like you are literally bouncing or your pin ball machine and then I think there was another ability once you kill somebody you get your full armor or your full biotic charge back again so you're literally just warping around the battlefield being a menace the whole time yeah total total freight train [SPEAKER_04]: I think it's the best one with the caveat that it's not the best one until you get to Mass Effect 2 because in one it's kind of just add that with extra steps.
[SPEAKER_04]: It's like, I think, how you get to exercise like a shotgun and like medium ammo. [SPEAKER_04]: And then with two, if bardics being knocked, where you can't use them on enemies of shields, they're bardics charged, so let's see you be effective and use something by Ardic on shielded enemies and just sit around the battlefield and taking everything out in like two or free hits.
[SPEAKER_11]: Oh, yeah. [SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, it's very, very convenient, especially because of what Magister brought up to with it. [SPEAKER_11]: It charges up your barrier while you're doing it. [SPEAKER_11]: And then if you want to do the combo, you can do Nova, right? [SPEAKER_11]: And then expel your barrier.
[SPEAKER_11]: And then maybe do another charge after that. [SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, that's always a fun combo. [SPEAKER_11]: I thought I saw one more hand up about Vanguard. [SPEAKER_11]: Alcarina, you enjoy playing Vanguard. [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I think it's the perfect aggressive hybrid of the all the the classes is it's like half half biotic half soldier and I like both.
[SPEAKER_07]: So yeah, it's my favorite. [SPEAKER_07]: No surprise. [SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, right on and Insey Superman and chat here says it's why we call van guards battle mages, which is pretty accurate. [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, for sure. [SPEAKER_11]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_11]: All right, um, who here disagrees about van guards not being the best combo class?
[SPEAKER_05]: Me? [SPEAKER_11]: Okay. [SPEAKER_11]: Why? [SPEAKER_05]: because I don't like being out of control of my own movement. [SPEAKER_05]: I found it very, very difficult to play as a Vanguard because every time that I would try to charge forward, it never seemed to go. [SPEAKER_05]: The direction that I intended it to go.
[SPEAKER_05]: And to me, that's very important. [SPEAKER_05]: Do not shoot me to a different enemy. [SPEAKER_05]: I already have Gary Silver there working on that guy. [SPEAKER_05]: I don't need to join him. [SPEAKER_05]: And so I was intending to go to the other one, yet the little cards, whatever, threw me off into the wrong opponent.
[SPEAKER_05]: That's why I would prefer to be able to shoot my own gun in the direction that I am pointing it. [SPEAKER_05]: Vanguard just doesn't work for me. [SPEAKER_11]: Well, if I was a jerk, I would say that that's a user error, but I'm not a jerk, so I won't say that. [SPEAKER_05]: I have been a user error, but therefore I can't use it, so I don't like it.
[SPEAKER_11]: That is an error. [SPEAKER_11]: Big bills. [SPEAKER_11]: What do you think about the Vanguard class? [SPEAKER_03]: The problem with Vanguard is you don't get [SPEAKER_11]: Okay, caveman like fire. [SPEAKER_03]: Yes, we like fire. [SPEAKER_03]: We like ice like free things burned things.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I don't melt them. [SPEAKER_11]: I don't know very much of you Bang The time but shot. [SPEAKER_11]: I see that you wanted the chime in You gotta unmute [SPEAKER_12]: Yeah, I'm going to give a bit of a shout out to if we try to, which is definitely my favorite subclass. [SPEAKER_12]: Well, still the violent brushes and stuff are pretty cool.
[SPEAKER_12]: I quite like hedgehogging people that can't see you, so that's my favorite thing about the infiltrator class being able to sort of go invisible when then, yeah, it's not someone in the head. [SPEAKER_12]: It's good fun. [SPEAKER_12]: I also quite like the role that Shepard sort of plays when you are playing an infiltrator [SPEAKER_12]: You can create an even side and you've got more of an ability to see where they are and coordinate them as well.
[SPEAKER_12]: So like when you're facing all the hustle, recognize the stuff like that, you can sit and rest in and you've got a bit of you where you actually is. [SPEAKER_12]: So I kind of like that extra whereas when you're playing as a vanguard, you're kind of doing your own thing. [SPEAKER_12]: I kind of like the coordination roller shepherd has what he's in the food trader.
[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, Vanguard definitely guilty of the main character energy. [SPEAKER_11]: All right, I want to hear more about who here likes the infiltrator class in the Sentinel class, but first we do have to go over to the mid break in the middle of the show. [SPEAKER_11]: And thank our patrons. [SPEAKER_11]: like you guys.
[SPEAKER_11]: So, all right, here we go. [SPEAKER_08]: We have beef, bacon, we have beer, the foods of my people. [SPEAKER_00]: Young men have funny ideas of what a story are like. [SPEAKER_00]: I blame the extra net and computer games. [SPEAKER_13]: Rex, Shepherd, Grant, Shepherd, Rex. [SPEAKER_11]: All right, here we are in the middle of the show.
[SPEAKER_11]: This is the part where we read out your five star reviews. [SPEAKER_11]: We don't have any new reviews this week and we don't have any new patrons to think, but I do want to give a shout out to our tier five patrons as we do every week. [SPEAKER_11]: And that is Red Trobot's Superfly 440.
[SPEAKER_11]: Ed Boyk, Kira C, Lieutenant Tussino, and William. [SPEAKER_11]: Thank you all for your continued immense support of this show and it really is because of people like you and people that are here right now and everyone else at our Patreon that we're able to keep doing this. [SPEAKER_11]: I don't want to take away too much time from you guys, so I'm going to go right back to the second half of the show.
[SPEAKER_01]: After time adrift among open stars, a long tide of light and through shows of dust, I will return to where I began. [SPEAKER_06]: Celery and reproduction different, very little sex drive. [SPEAKER_06]: If intended to try human, would try you out my bakeries. [SPEAKER_11]: All right, here we are in the second half of the show.
[SPEAKER_11]: And during that break, my wife actually came in and said, hey, cookies are in the oven, by the way. [SPEAKER_11]: So anyway, I'm all hot and bothered now. [SPEAKER_11]: But let's talk more about the infiltrator and Sentinel classes. [SPEAKER_11]: The Terrain Buds shot brought up the great point of the infiltrator being more apt for being a field commander.
[SPEAKER_11]: Who here agrees with that or maybe you've got your own reasons that you prefer playing infiltrator? [SPEAKER_11]: Ed Boy. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I agree with that because if infantry are, I think you get and generate, right? [SPEAKER_04]: So you kind of [SPEAKER_04]: You can become a primal for your teammates, so you can set something on fire, and then have, I can cut the shot on overload, or get native, and take out a group of enemies.
[SPEAKER_11]: Right on, right on. [SPEAKER_11]: So crowd control being a possible benefit for you there. [SPEAKER_11]: And Genesis, I see kind of rolling your eyes over there. [SPEAKER_11]: What are your thoughts on infiltrator? [SPEAKER_05]: I mean, I understand playing as an infiltrator. [SPEAKER_05]: I think one of my brochub stuff was an infiltrator and I had fun with it, but I'm a Sentinel girl, especially in ME2, like that is my class to play.
[SPEAKER_05]: I have other squad mates to play the classes that I don't like playing, and so that's why. [SPEAKER_05]: I build my squad around whoever I am playing as. [SPEAKER_03]: right on right on I think that a lot of people play infiltrator probably agree with you their big bills what did you have to say you know I think the infiltrator class is great if you're a chicken shit and just hide you know okay let me know it's worth that we get in there and you get in the grinding you know you get in the grinding just grab a little shotgun down [SPEAKER_05]: And then you shoot them on the ground or I don't need you up in the air up in the air takes aiming on the ground is even easier.
[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: Thank you. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: Being an infantry, you're just scared to get in there. [SPEAKER_05]: Uh, Rachel looks like you got your hands up. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_02]: I was just going to say, [SPEAKER_02]: from a lower perspective and will try to make sense because shepherd is an N7 so he's training to do a lot of these more high-speed missions like go in small squad by himself and just mess with the enemy and play the mission.
[SPEAKER_02]: So I think that makes sense from a lower perspective. [SPEAKER_02]: But also I'm not a huge fan of like dividing classes because I think it's a real situation [SPEAKER_02]: sort of fun. [SPEAKER_02]: So I prefer just Shepherd is very specializing what he does and he does it very well. [SPEAKER_03]: He don't need to infiltrate if everybody's dead.
[SPEAKER_05]: I like that. [SPEAKER_05]: Oh, okay. [SPEAKER_05]: So I guess Sentinel would be the next class that we wanted to talk about, right? [SPEAKER_05]: Does anybody else have thoughts on Sentinel? [SPEAKER_05]: because I am pro-central, especially in ME2, go for it, psych. [SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, Sentinel is the first class.
[SPEAKER_09]: I even went with the very first time I ever got Mass Effect, the idea that I have tech abilities and biotic abilities, which is unique to Mass Effect. [SPEAKER_09]: I really like even if it meant I have a pistol. [SPEAKER_09]: And then specifically, as you go on, I mean, you get overload, which [SPEAKER_09]: is vital going forward, especially in those higher difficulties where everything is shielded.
[SPEAKER_09]: So being able to strip shields and then you hit them with warp and then you shoot them. [SPEAKER_09]: And that's that's the game. [SPEAKER_09]: Plus Tech Armor, you add in a little barrier. [SPEAKER_09]: You are a literal [SPEAKER_03]: Say, Sentinel is Massivex PG version of the Doom Slayer.
[SPEAKER_03]: You just can't recommend half because they're too PG for that. [SPEAKER_03]: But you get in there, you blow them up, get destroying them, you burn them, you hire them, you do whatever you have a shield. [SPEAKER_03]: And then you run and go to the next one. [SPEAKER_03]: I don't, I think it's great.
[SPEAKER_05]: I'm with you, I can't disagree. [SPEAKER_05]: uh, but Terry and Batchock go for it. [SPEAKER_12]: Just a counter that's lovely. [SPEAKER_12]: I just think that the issue with the central classes that has no style, there's nothing flashy about it. [SPEAKER_12]: It's like the accountant class of Mass Effect, it's just nothing flashy, no cool guns, no cool body powers, yeah, a lot of things.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, but it would be fun if they would go rated R and you could rip them in half, like imagine grabbing a server strip and just ripping their head off. [SPEAKER_03]: pulling their spinal cord out, throwing it on the ground and going to the next one. [SPEAKER_03]: That's how it's supposed to be.
[SPEAKER_10]: That place are all of the classes. [SPEAKER_03]: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, [SPEAKER_05]: also to be double offended on this podcast.
[SPEAKER_05]: Hi, I'm Genesis, accountant by day, sentinel by night, and I feel very, very, very offended. [SPEAKER_12]: I want to deliver it. [SPEAKER_05]: A lot of thanks. [SPEAKER_11]: Well, I'm going to switch the tone here, Mitch. [SPEAKER_11]: Would you like to help us out? [SPEAKER_09]: No, I was going to agree with her as a fellow auditor and money manager like excuse you, sir.
[SPEAKER_09]: No, but I need to check out maybe to go ahead and change the tone a little bit. [SPEAKER_09]: What was part three? [SPEAKER_09]: Lastly, what class new game? [SPEAKER_09]: Yes, I would love to see. [SPEAKER_11]: Well, hold on before we go to that one. [SPEAKER_11]: Retrobot, you did have something you wanted to chime in about.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, just quick five. [SPEAKER_02]: But like who cares about Flash? [SPEAKER_02]: It's about getting the mission done like so wide as a matter. [SPEAKER_02]: If you look cool when you're doing it, it's just that you're effective. [SPEAKER_02]: You got the mission done and you just moved on.
[SPEAKER_03]: Okay, yes, God created a lot of flash. [SPEAKER_11]: He says style points are overrated. [SPEAKER_11]: Magister, how do you feel? [SPEAKER_10]: you're the first human human specter you have to be flashy. [SPEAKER_10]: You got to be the the example the one who's going to go out there and make those big cinema books was the Michael Bay movie pulling the pulling the ship out of the air charging into the and the Mr. Battle, knowing all over the place you got to be the one you get the job done but you can [SPEAKER_11]: Alright, one final comment on this one from Ed Boy and then we'll talk about that last and third part in the classes in the new game, Ed Boy.
[SPEAKER_04]: I think inherently Sentinel is flashy just from the tech armor alone, has every time I see tech armor, I always think how [SPEAKER_04]: Awesome, it looks, especially when you get to like in drama, you have like mods for that can change shit to like a blue color or make it more flashy. [SPEAKER_04]: So I think inherently certain node does have flash.
[SPEAKER_05]: went literally the tech armor pops and it flashes everywhere. [SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, all right. [SPEAKER_11]: So our third and final part of today's show. [SPEAKER_11]: We're going to talk about what classes we would like to see in the next Mass Effect be they new classes that we create on the spot or old classes that we've already seen before.
[SPEAKER_11]: Big bills you've had a lot of particular opinions tonight. [SPEAKER_11]: I can't wait to hear yours about the new class that you would create or old one that you'd still bring into the next game. [SPEAKER_03]: So I would say the next game at least let's have the end drama to style where you can pick and choose and all three easily, all three trees, but I want to psychotic class.
[SPEAKER_03]: I want to broken hero, that's just staffs and is like psychotic and just destroys everything. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm so on people skulls after their dead. [SPEAKER_11]: Okay. [SPEAKER_11]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_11]: Like super sane class. [SPEAKER_03]: No home lander. [SPEAKER_11]: Oh, okay. [SPEAKER_03]: So get to hero with this and see the same from eight issues.
[SPEAKER_11]: Is it the same crippling addiction for milk? [SPEAKER_11]: All right, everybody's day break. [SPEAKER_11]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_11]: Mitch, I see you've got your hand up. [SPEAKER_09]: Yes, I just, I was actually going to disagree on the idea of having access to everything. [SPEAKER_09]: I really feel like that encompasses that idea of a jack of all trades master and none, except you mastered everything.
[SPEAKER_09]: Well, yeah, cool. [SPEAKER_09]: But the what was the point of me being on the depth, what was the point of me being an engineer if I can also master out every soldier [SPEAKER_03]: When you actually change your game play on the fly, like you could, you can go all in depth and then the next mission.
[SPEAKER_03]: So I did allow that, allow you to like, [SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, I see, but then also what was the point of having squadmates? [SPEAKER_09]: What's the point of choosing what I want my character to be if, oh yeah, I just need, I need a flamethrower real quick. [SPEAKER_09]: Here's my flat cannon.
[SPEAKER_09]: Here's a bunch of other abilities that I like, I don't really pick, I just kind of got. [SPEAKER_11]: I see where both of you are coming from with this with a big bills, I think that kind of gameplay is very helpful for people who don't have the time, or perhaps the desire to do multiple playthroughs of the game, that way they can kind of experience everything all at all and that one playthrough, whereas if you're talking about...
[SPEAKER_11]: pure roleplay value and replayability. [SPEAKER_11]: I think a hampering which class you can be for one character and kind of having to stick with it through the rest of the game, it does force you to try new characters from scratch. [SPEAKER_11]: And that might not be for everybody, but that is what the effect is.
[SPEAKER_03]: Maybe give the option of doing both. [SPEAKER_03]: Like give you ability to have like the makes and match whenever you want or think a class. [SPEAKER_03]: Because like you said, when you get to a certain point of life, [SPEAKER_03]: This is a certain number of kids you might not have time to play as much.
[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, or maybe you'll just spend your time looking at your game library with a blank stare wondering what could have been. [SPEAKER_11]: Anyway, but Terry and Butch shot. [SPEAKER_12]: Not all, maybe a bit sensible of me, but there is like a bit of a little ground that I've sort of thought about a little bit for the next game.
[SPEAKER_12]: So there's a bit of a compromise solution between the seats classes of Mass Effect 1 to 3 and then the people we want to do, you know, a bit of everything. [SPEAKER_12]: So what I've been sort of thinking about as a seats classes kind of our combination of two different skills between soldier body can take.
[SPEAKER_12]: If we were to expand the classes to 10, and you had a combination of three of those points, you could potentially have all these new different classes and stuff like that. [SPEAKER_12]: So you would have the option of being like an explorer, kind of class, and then draw them out of where you had a, you know, your bit soldier did by it, it had a bit of everything.
[SPEAKER_12]: And you could expand it that way. [SPEAKER_12]: And that was sort of allowed the opportunity for that identity that comes with your class to still be a thing with Mass Effect, which I think is really [SPEAKER_12]: It allows the kind of conversations that we're having here to take place in debates and forums, and that sort of identity people have with their own character or their own ship or whoever it's going to be.
[SPEAKER_12]: Yes, I wrong. [SPEAKER_12]: Having sit classes, you can expand it to 10 different classes, and you would have a combination of those three points. [SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, that's that's fair point. [SPEAKER_11]: Retrobot, you got your hand up. [SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I was just going to say for a new class.
[SPEAKER_02]: I feel like [SPEAKER_02]: We need something that's like full support, cause reusing squad-based combat. [SPEAKER_02]: So I was going to recommend a combat medic role where your entire premise is you're all right with the solid rifles and you're secondary being a pistol, but your whole purpose is keeping your soldiers at peak performance and just enhancing them so they can go in there and get the mission done.
[SPEAKER_11]: Okay, kind of a support role. [SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, I think on that note, it'd be cool to see more support capabilities in whatever new classes come about. [SPEAKER_11]: That way, you can kind of just hang back as a field commander and help your squad do their thing as opposed to, you know, being the star of the show.
[SPEAKER_11]: Ed Boy, how do you feel? [SPEAKER_04]: I'm kind of going to echo a battalion but shot a bit of this like I would love to see something like a biotic infiltrator class where you can go invisible and maybe use a wall and then follow that up with like a head shot for like the bonus damage or even something like a task like centering in, it's like a mix of sojo, biotic and enchano, you have like [SPEAKER_04]: a couple, like one of each, or a couple of each, abilities, some deal of classes and kind of like mixing up a little more.
[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, they'd be cool. [SPEAKER_11]: Maybe with Sinter and you get a huge riot shield. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, exactly. [SPEAKER_04]: I was actually thinking about that, but like the army shield, yeah, that, like the Shadowbroke, or like the N7 set and no has in the multiplayer. [SPEAKER_11]: Right on, Carina.
[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, I know this is way over the top. [SPEAKER_07]: It's just an intrusive thought that I'm sharing with you right now. [SPEAKER_07]: But why not maybe as a new game plus mode? [SPEAKER_07]: You have a kind of a dark energy specialist. [SPEAKER_07]: like you manipulate physics at a deeper level, you play with gravity and maybe even time travel.
[SPEAKER_07]: Like you slow down enemy projectiles, you're bending time or something like that, but I know it's [SPEAKER_11]: it's too much but that would be pretty cool to play through you could go through an entire like fight and analyze how the AI is going to act and then hit the rewind button and go from there.
[SPEAKER_11]: That would be really cool. [SPEAKER_11]: Of course, there'd need to be constraints on it, right? [SPEAKER_11]: Like how much you'd have to have like a dark energy meter, right? [SPEAKER_11]: They could use your abilities for maybe like a cool down, but that's really cool. [SPEAKER_07]: And you can maybe even do your actions twice because you can time travel.
[SPEAKER_07]: So you hit double, I don't know something like that. [SPEAKER_11]: That'd be really cool. [SPEAKER_05]: I think it sounds really cool. [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I'm like in the Stark energy idea. [SPEAKER_05]: Okay fun. [SPEAKER_11]: A whole time dilation aspect is pretty, pretty fascinating.
[SPEAKER_11]: Big bills, what do you think? [SPEAKER_03]: I think the Dark Energy is great. [SPEAKER_03]: If we just add the ability to reach in the different timelines and the different game universes, the steel, different things to bring back. [SPEAKER_11]: Like, I was the guy, whatever you want. [SPEAKER_03]: I want the silence pistol from Kilson, because that thing was badass.
[SPEAKER_03]: And then I want the double barrel shotgun from Doom. [SPEAKER_03]: You give me those two weapons. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm just gonna be done. [SPEAKER_11]: And all of sudden, the player character brings out Finnias from Finnias and Furb. [SPEAKER_11]: What is he doing here? [SPEAKER_11]: Anyway.
[SPEAKER_11]: Magistrar, I see you've got your hand up. [SPEAKER_10]: To real quick touch on based on what Corinna said. [SPEAKER_10]: And not to genesis, I kind of picture that being like, V when they start dabbling with still dark wall or black wall, whatever is called, when what's her name, songbird, [SPEAKER_10]: That would be so cool, but like dark energy words, um, but as far as character class, um, I'm thinking more so the, um, basically what.
[SPEAKER_10]: that kind of did, what's the moon base in a MF-1 where you're like, you were full-scale like specialized training to enhance you the more, but like I would want potentially like maybe a there's like a year time skip in the game where you have to go get special training and a hand-straining on whatever class you are.
[SPEAKER_10]: And so imagine if you were like, [SPEAKER_10]: Valkyrie at Adap where you're doing the stuff that some are I was doing or maybe even like tech engineer but like gray goo version like because you have by that point potentially some people being infected by Reaper core or Maybe something similar with a six Green ending things such this type of situation [SPEAKER_10]: See, seeing those like advanced levels of those peer class like going forward.
[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, I think that would be pretty cool to get another opportunity where there is a definitive beat in the story that changes the specialization for your class. [SPEAKER_11]: The one that perhaps players didn't know about beforehand, I think that was the coolest part about that VI mission on Luna that so many players didn't know that was coming and then when it happened it was like, whoa, this is dope.
[SPEAKER_11]: And so while you were talking about that register, I thought about, well, what if they did that kind of thing, but instead of a dedicated mission and you just have to complete it to choose your specialty, what if the game was analyzing the way that you played and given a number of different metrics, you know, the way that you've taken down enemies, the [SPEAKER_11]: Parts in the body, you're most likely to hit how often do you prefer stealth that kind of thing and At a given point in the game, it kind of took that analysis and said here is your specialization This is because you played that way that you get that specialization So then it's already kind of fitting the way that you were playing And get dip a little bit into the indromeda with the whole the AI that they had with the
[SPEAKER_10]: the initiative, they're initiative, what's it, whatever it's called, the, the four runners, I came out what it's called, but like you have the same watching all the time, you're like, now this class is available to you based upon your style. [SPEAKER_05]: Yep, Sam is always watching. [SPEAKER_11]: Yep, let that be a lesson to you, red robot.
[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, just quick thought I had to go back to Koreans with a whole dark energy fan. [SPEAKER_02]: I immediately went to a big, great riffs in between timelines. [SPEAKER_02]: I was just immediately thinking about bio-shock three. [SPEAKER_02]: Like, you can create a rift, get some weapon from like a, some like collector weapon or some reaper weapon or something like that.
[SPEAKER_11]: Hell yeah, that'd be cool. [SPEAKER_11]: just a weapon specialist. [SPEAKER_11]: You get access to an expanded armory. [SPEAKER_11]: That'd be cool. [SPEAKER_11]: I'd like that. [SPEAKER_11]: But it's airing butt shot. [SPEAKER_12]: Just going back to Karina's point about dark energy. [SPEAKER_12]: I always found it was quite interesting with the Moshei, Moshei in Naman drama.
[SPEAKER_12]: Because she says it's not like a barrier, but it's not really clear if she's a body, or not. [SPEAKER_12]: I always wondered whether the where-of-body was the manipulation of dark energy, maybe the anger or the ability to [SPEAKER_12]: when you play the opposite of the dark energy and one of the whoever that was something in the the Mass Effect series may go down where you've got people who when you play dark energy robotics and then the anger from a different galaxy somehow you need to like some kind of light energy or something like that.
[SPEAKER_11]: Happy cool. [SPEAKER_11]: Yeah kind of like almost a powered and class. [SPEAKER_11]: And boy. [SPEAKER_04]: It's a bit of topic, but, you know, hearing a veterinarian said, like imagine if like the added like the ability to play as it can racist and the next mass effect. [SPEAKER_04]: And each race had its own unique class that only that race could use.
[SPEAKER_05]: I can totally see that that would that would be really fun to work with and would very much bring in replayability because at that point you would want to play each of the different species types and learn their individual classes and go through all those that would be really really cool what if you could be like an elk or and you could just punch things hardest fuck.
[SPEAKER_05]: I would totally play as an alcohol. [SPEAKER_05]: Are you kidding me? [SPEAKER_11]: Like, oh, you'd be super slow moving around the battlefield, but once you got front of someone, oh my god, punch a hole through. [SPEAKER_11]: All right. [SPEAKER_05]: Like a little zool-o-o-thriding on my back with a sniper rifle.
[SPEAKER_05]: Let's go. [SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, frankly, they don't need to reinvent the wheel. [SPEAKER_11]: Just take a bunch of those classes from multiplayer, Mass Effect 3, and just put them in the next one. [SPEAKER_11]: doesn't be pretty cool like the uh... what was it was it the dragon the one with the uh... whips um... yes that was that one the whips excited me stop stop talking about your bedroom sir you don't even know that not so much change they didn't um...
[SPEAKER_11]: All right. [SPEAKER_11]: Well, we are coming up on the end of the show. [SPEAKER_11]: So, Genesis, what class would you create or want to see in the next Mass Effect? [SPEAKER_05]: Oh, so I definitely, I love my tech shield way too much for it to not be applied at least in some class and I think that the first one that I would play is something that I'd be able to play with that.
[SPEAKER_05]: So whatever that is, that is what I will play first because I love being able to take a lot of hits before I die, so give me tech armor. [SPEAKER_11]: Hell yeah. [SPEAKER_11]: All right, and I have a bunch of different ideas for different classes, but what if we had like a barred? [SPEAKER_11]: Not sure how that would work, but maybe carries it around a boom box.
[SPEAKER_03]: A Necro Bart. [SPEAKER_11]: Necro Bart makes the dead sing. [SPEAKER_11]: All right. [SPEAKER_05]: Work with that. [SPEAKER_11]: Well, yeah. [SPEAKER_11]: Give Bart a inspiration to different squadmates. [SPEAKER_11]: So [SPEAKER_11]: All right, well, this has been really fun, of course, as always, and we have a full house, like I said, so let's actually go around the horn here now, and we can talk about, you know, if you've got anything going on, any projects are working on, or anything that you'd like to shout out, big bills, anything you'd like to shout out.
[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I just got done watching the Carolina Hurricanes take out the Montreal Canadians and five games. [SPEAKER_03]: So let's go for hurricanes, fuck Vegas, and hopefully we can raise the lower Stanley's Cup in a few weeks. [SPEAKER_11]: Right, all right. [SPEAKER_11]: Well, you've also made some Canadian enemies today, too.
[SPEAKER_11]: And boy, when you got going on, how can people get ahold of you? [SPEAKER_11]: And anything you want to shout out? [SPEAKER_04]: I got nothing going on. [SPEAKER_04]: I did just finish 100% achievements for a legendary edition, but you know, and then the I got nothing going on. [SPEAKER_04]: And I'm just on this code when you want to search out.
[SPEAKER_11]: Right on. [SPEAKER_11]: And Red, uh, I'm sorry, Karina, do you have a response perhaps to the Montreal, Canadians, uh, [SPEAKER_07]: I really don't care about hockey, I'm sorry. [SPEAKER_11]: Okay, I found, I found the one Canadian that didn't help getting. [SPEAKER_07]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_11]: Yeah.
[SPEAKER_11]: So, Karina, what are you got going on on anything that you'd like to shout out? [SPEAKER_07]: Since the last time I was on the podcast, I finished Red Dead Redemption 2, so I was pretty heartbroken for a few weeks, but right now I'm playing Horizon Zero Down for the first time and also 007 first life, which me on Instagram.
[SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, that game, that game looks pretty fun. [SPEAKER_11]: And so long since I've played a 007 game, Retro Boss, got anything going on and he got any fun new games you're playing? [SPEAKER_02]: Uh, no, I'm Retro bought on this chord. [SPEAKER_02]: If you feel like reading a 14-page dissertation on why Medagell is terrible.
[SPEAKER_02]: I have posted one on the discord, or if you just want to know why Medagell is terrible. [SPEAKER_02]: When you're comparing it to modern day, type of you'll come back, kind of to carry them at me up. [SPEAKER_11]: Right on, okay, I just got an idea for a new class to the next mass effect.
[SPEAKER_11]: It's all metagill. [SPEAKER_11]: Magister, what do you got going on? [SPEAKER_11]: Anything you want to shout out? [SPEAKER_10]: that's the great good right there. [SPEAKER_10]: Nothing going on right now. [SPEAKER_10]: Just excitedly waiting for the next week with all the different showcases that are happening.
[SPEAKER_10]: Maybe we'll see something a blip becomes a mass factor or any of the systems we'll know we'll see right on. [SPEAKER_11]: It's airing but shot. [SPEAKER_11]: What do you got going on and he's fun new games to play? [SPEAKER_12]: Maybe I'll found the Sentinel-Sucks Society after this episode, but that I've got a very some hand-fiction in various stages of development, but maybe not smart enough that people were the lawcast, but that's not too much to plug.
[SPEAKER_12]: I'm still going through board as gate 3 and I still haven't finished that after about a year and a half, so still getting my way through that, being a dad makes it hard. [SPEAKER_11]: Yeah, and it's a long game, especially if you want to do it as a completionist. [SPEAKER_11]: Alright, Mitch, anything that you've got cooking, anything you want to shout out?
[SPEAKER_09]: Absolutely. [SPEAKER_09]: I am the star runner head writer and voice behind Dr. [SPEAKER_09]: Banner and the Hulk on the Avengers the audio drama. [SPEAKER_09]: Our season finale will be out here in June. [SPEAKER_09]: It's a big one. [SPEAKER_09]: So just tune in for that and then start a season two will be later this year.
[SPEAKER_09]: Probably close it to what's Thanksgiving [SPEAKER_11]: uh... and that's that's my that's my big focus right on genesis i know that you are uh... dabbling in some other shows anything you want shot out anything uh... you got going on in any new games are playing [SPEAKER_05]: I do dabble in a couple of other podcasts.
[SPEAKER_05]: So I've got the two girls one ship, where we analyze rate and review all the world of video game romances has to offer. [SPEAKER_05]: And these cyberpunk lore cast where we explore the foundations of the past, the state of Night City today, and the news of the future for all things cyberpunk.
[SPEAKER_05]: And my rebuttal to Sentinel is respect, my skill set, not my ability to flash you. [SPEAKER_11]: right on. [SPEAKER_11]: All right, um, I don't have much going on besides dad's stuff and in this show, uh, I got a job finally so that's cool. [SPEAKER_11]: only been a year. [SPEAKER_11]: It was a test of endurance.
[SPEAKER_11]: But yeah, I don't start that for another month basically and we will probably have to change the day of the week that we are recording this podcast because my shift is going to be quite different. [SPEAKER_11]: not going to be nine to five Monday through Friday. [SPEAKER_11]: It will be early morning.
[SPEAKER_11]: I'll be working the early mornings Wednesday through Sunday. [SPEAKER_11]: So stay tuned. [SPEAKER_11]: Genesis and I have to kind of do some work shopping and you know, all fear of chatting about that. [SPEAKER_11]: But next week we are coming back with more garris. [SPEAKER_11]: So you all should enjoy that.
[SPEAKER_11]: I hope you do. [SPEAKER_11]: And until next time, specters, we should go. [SPEAKER_11]: Take care. [SPEAKER_11]: Thanks for listening to the Mass Effect War text.
