[SPEAKER_02]: I'm Commander Sheppard, and this is my favorite lorecast on the Citadel. [SPEAKER_05]: Welcome to the Mass Effect lorecast. [SPEAKER_05]: I'm in seven the legend. [SPEAKER_03]: And I'm Genesis, join us. [SPEAKER_05]: As we explore a long tides of light, and through a show of the dust, to see where this lore began.

[SPEAKER_03]: And consider where it may go. [SPEAKER_05]: Specter so welcome back to another episode of the Mass Effect Lorquest. [SPEAKER_05]: I am your host in seven legend and joining me as always is Genesis and Genesis. [SPEAKER_05]: How's it going? [SPEAKER_03]: I'm doing pretty good today. [SPEAKER_03]: It's been a lazy Sunday at home and now we're recording.

[SPEAKER_03]: It's a different night for us, but I like it. [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, right on, we pushed it back so that our patrons could join us. [SPEAKER_05]: And joining us this week is Superfly 440 and Magistrate Vita. [SPEAKER_05]: Welcome, guys. [SPEAKER_05]: All right, well today and we were just talking about this in the pre-show chat that we have kind of an interesting idea for this Patreon chat since it's a small group and that means each person will have a little bit more time to talk.

[SPEAKER_05]: We're going to kind of combine the what if episodes that we've been doing with a Patreon chat topic. [SPEAKER_05]: So my thought process is, you know, [SPEAKER_05]: But I think it would be pretty cool if each of us had our own body of take on the genuffage and then we'll all kind of discuss it.

[SPEAKER_05]: So I think that's what we're going to do, you know, everyone will bring their own what if question and then we'll kind of game that out and just kind of see where the conversation goes. [SPEAKER_05]: So, you know, [SPEAKER_05]: Magistrate, superfly, without further ado, either one of you, one of all in here, or am I gonna have to pick on someone?

[SPEAKER_05]: I'm going to have to pick on someone. [SPEAKER_05]: I'm going to do it. [SPEAKER_05]: All right. [SPEAKER_05]: Well, let's see. [SPEAKER_05]: I've got my handy dandy, a, a, a, a, type or septum coin right here, that I can flirt to pick on someone fairly. [SPEAKER_05]: And we'll just say because I can see superfly 440's head, we'll say he is heads and Magistars tales.

[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, it landed on my belly. [SPEAKER_05]: This is really not promising. [SPEAKER_05]: I can move this way. [SPEAKER_05]: Anyway, it is tails. [SPEAKER_05]: So, Magister, you want to get us started with your what if question about the [SPEAKER_04]: What is the genophage bomb that they were using to, or whatever, the device was, I don't remember off the top of my hand, that they were using to spread the genophage the first time through, was actually captured by the Crowgen and released in the Citadel.

[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, okay, so I believe it was the spire. [SPEAKER_05]: That's how they dispersed the genophage on Tuchanka. [SPEAKER_05]: And so what if they had somehow taken the genophage and released it on the Citadel instead? [SPEAKER_05]: Now is this assuming that the genophage was altered to affect other races besides the Crogon?

[SPEAKER_04]: No, this is just seeing what happens with the Crogant genophage, but like their scientists take it, and like make it into a bomb and like release it in the Citadel as a counter attack back on them. [SPEAKER_05]: Oh, okay, I see. [SPEAKER_05]: So would have some explosive power to not just a bio-weapon.

[SPEAKER_05]: I see. [SPEAKER_05]: That's interesting. [SPEAKER_05]: I feel like that would not, just my immediate thought is that would not play well politically for the Crogan. [SPEAKER_05]: That would probably drive the Turians to develop an even stronger WMD. [SPEAKER_05]: I mean, that's just my thought.

[SPEAKER_05]: I'll open this up for you guys, Genesis, and Superfly. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I'm thinking that [SPEAKER_03]: It can go either one of two ways. [SPEAKER_03]: The obviously the people on the citadel who are hurt damaged or killed during this explosion would have outrage. [SPEAKER_03]: But there would also be the social justice aspect of it.

[SPEAKER_03]: Do you see this bomb that they placed in our home world? [SPEAKER_03]: In order to, you know, maybe if the crow can know what the bomb was intended to do, if they knew that this bomb, that this thing was going to cause the genophage. [SPEAKER_03]: They could use that as a political standpoint of, do you see what your leadership is doing behind closed doors?

[SPEAKER_03]: Do you see what is trying to be done to us? [SPEAKER_03]: And use it from that way of, yes, we took this bomb and we modified it and now it has exploded on the citadel, but this was what you were planning to do to my people. [SPEAKER_03]: and having that aspect of it, there would be backlash but there could also be a lot of galactic support from individuals rather than the council.

[SPEAKER_05]: I feel like the council could easily just lie, you know, and say that's a bunch of bullshit and it's propaganda and they've just [SPEAKER_05]: And a lot of people, I think, might readily accept that. [SPEAKER_04]: He's thinking non-compsial races might band up though. [SPEAKER_04]: Like the outdoor and the wall of Wallace.

[SPEAKER_04]: To their, some of them are based upon the one's Wallace embassy guy. [SPEAKER_04]: They're clearly some tension between them and the council. [SPEAKER_05]: I think they might if their embassy's weren't blown up. [SPEAKER_05]: That's my immediate thought, um, if, uh, if the goal was to rally political support, I feel like, you know, detonating a bomb on the citadel might not be the best way to do that.

[SPEAKER_05]: I, you know, it's totally believable though that the Crogan would see that that way. [SPEAKER_05]: Um, although I might think that they would use it as a rallying cry for the different tribes of Crogan themselves, uh, and potentially try to use it as a catalyst for bringing all the Crogan who had left Tuchanka back into the fold to fight on behalf of the Crogan.

[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, yeah, they were basically from what I gathered other different lords of the way that you guys would discuss. [SPEAKER_04]: I mean, they were back at the checkpoint where it was a cold war about to become a hot war, so then finding out that the Jennifer was going to be, and then that counterstrike, that would be, like you said, a rallying cry for all the program to say that it's time to fight, and we saw what happened was the wreck, and they are a problem in itself.

[SPEAKER_05]: Superfly, what are your thoughts on this? [SPEAKER_06]: I thought I'll just went to the Beterians, which I know sounds a little random and odd, but the Beterians don't really care for any of the council races, and this attack by the Crogans, if this were to happen, might draw in Beterians' port for the Crogans, and then we get into an even bigger war rather than just the Crogans, they're fighting also the Beterians.

[SPEAKER_06]: They see that Beterians see this as an opportunity to get back [SPEAKER_06]: territory get back at the council races for going against their needs and desires, but I also could be going way before the tournament that Terri's probably came way after this conflict, and maybe in my timeline is all screwed up, maybe you can fresh me on that, but that's where my mind went when I heard about the Crogans attacking the Citadel.

[SPEAKER_05]: I mean, yeah, it does sound a lot like a vegetarian attack on the Citadel. [SPEAKER_05]: I'm also thinking of the second dairy, you know, kind of ripple effects that might come of that. [SPEAKER_05]: I think Cerberus might swell and rags. [SPEAKER_05]: Actually, what the hell am I talking about?

[SPEAKER_05]: This is during the death. [SPEAKER_05]: This is way before humanity had joined the galactic community. [SPEAKER_05]: I must be sleep deprived because I knew that, but that being said, Cerberus is not the only nationalistic supremacist group among the different alien races. [SPEAKER_05]: And I feel like this might spawn some new ones.

[SPEAKER_03]: I could see that, uh, whatever version of TerraFerma, the Asari have, or the Solerians have. [SPEAKER_05]: Can you imagine a Turing supremacist group good Lord? [SPEAKER_05]: I mean, they practically are any R. I can, yeah, that's what I'm saying. [SPEAKER_05]: So like an even more hardliner group.

[SPEAKER_05]: Oh my god, like good lord, that might be... [SPEAKER_05]: The most terrifying, like kind of thought, that there would be some kind of militant extremist wing of the Turian hierarchy that perhaps even after hostilities had ended, they never really gave up trying to exterminate the Crogan.

[SPEAKER_03]: I could definitely see that happening, that the Turians would be the most likely to continue [SPEAKER_04]: Which one through the rocks first? [SPEAKER_04]: Was it the crowgames or the attorneys or through the rocks at one another? [SPEAKER_05]: Oh, the crowgames were the one slamming ass.

[SPEAKER_05]: There you go. [SPEAKER_05]: There's a reference that is like five years old to our own show now. [SPEAKER_06]: Blow a big callback. [SPEAKER_06]: I love a good callback. [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, the crowgames and before the crowgames, I think, or wait, was the crowgames [SPEAKER_03]: I think it was the Baterians.

[SPEAKER_05]: Yes, I think they were no, because the Baterians were slamming human ass. [SPEAKER_05]: And the Crogan, yeah, so it was definitely the Crogan first. [SPEAKER_05]: The Crogan slammed ass first. [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah, because they started using the asteroids during the program wars. [SPEAKER_06]: That was the first time that they've been used as weapons.

[SPEAKER_06]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_06]: The Terrians took that idea for the DLC and M1. [SPEAKER_06]: Yes. [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_05]: So yeah, for those of you who didn't realize when I say slamming ass, that's a joke. [SPEAKER_05]: It's a reference. [SPEAKER_05]: And what we're really talking about is slamming an asteroid into a planet.

[SPEAKER_05]: So the crow can had accomplished that first. [SPEAKER_05]: I feel like we might see more of that both ways in the wake of detonating a bomb on the Citadel. [SPEAKER_05]: I can see the Turians gaining even more political power because the Turians, or the Asari, would be dragging their feet on quick decisive political action or military action.

[SPEAKER_05]: You know, they act very slowly in terms of those things, but that's why their governments are stable. [SPEAKER_05]: And the Salarians would certainly want to respond, but in a clandestine way. [SPEAKER_05]: Neither one of those I feel would be as attractive to gaining political support as the Turians being the strongman and kind of vying for more authority over the Citadel spaces military as a whole.

[SPEAKER_05]: And I feel like people on the citadel might be pissed off there. [SPEAKER_05]: You know, I'm thinking, you know, the way it would look to most people I think on the citadel would be a terrorist attack. [SPEAKER_05]: And typically there's a rally around the flag effect that happens when countries are attacked like that, especially if it's from another organized group.

[SPEAKER_05]: You know. [SPEAKER_05]: So I feel like that might happen where people would want revenge, you know, and who would be willing to enact that revenge for them, certainly turns would be the most willing. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I agree. [SPEAKER_03]: I also don't know if my idea about the Krogan trying to leverage it for political power being like look at what they had planned on doing to us would actually go into effect because you know, I don't know if there is a good political leader of the Krogan that would be able to speak the way that that would be required back then.

[SPEAKER_03]: You know, yes, we think of Rex being a very good leader, uh, but he's a lot further down the timeline than the first, uh, Jennifer is in the first Crogan horse. [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, he is. [SPEAKER_05]: And I was actually going to bring that up. [SPEAKER_05]: I was going to ask, you know, what kind of timeline, he's I can't remember off the top of my head, which all Crogan, we meet that would have remembered the rebellion.

[SPEAKER_05]: I think drag, right? [SPEAKER_03]: Rack and potentially patriarchy. [SPEAKER_05]: Oh, yeah, I drag and patriarchy are the oldest that we meet, right? [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I don't think possibly war, war chief O'Keefe, O'Keefe, O'Keefe, O'Keefe, O'Keefe, O'Keefe, O'Keefe, O'Keefe, O'Keefe, O'Keefe, O'Keefe, O'Keefe, O'Keefe, O'Keefe, O'Keefe, O'Keefe, O'Keefe, O'Keefe, O'Keefe, O'Keefe, O'Keefe, O'Keefe, O'Keefe, O'Keefe, O'Keefe, O'Keefe, O'Keefe, O'Keefe, O'Keefe, O [SPEAKER_05]: More chief of keyfell.

[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_05]: Oh, man What's the name of his first EP coming out? [SPEAKER_07]: More chief of keyfell. [SPEAKER_05]: That's amazing. [SPEAKER_05]: Uh, yeah Sorry, what was that? [SPEAKER_05]: There's another T-shirt. [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, there's another T-shirt. [SPEAKER_05]: That's the first band-entry in a while, War Chief O'Keefe.

[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_05]: Oh, yeah. [SPEAKER_05]: Day zero, and Chad says the genophage. [SPEAKER_05]: That says, I don't like that. [SPEAKER_05]: Oh, nice, uh, so, okay, so, yeah, oh, here, would probably remember some of it. [SPEAKER_05]: I feel like it might actually cause a schism to politically in the broken, trying to do something that brash and undoubtedly killing civilians.

[SPEAKER_05]: because this is, again, before the genophage was enacted on the crookin. [SPEAKER_05]: So they wouldn't have that contextual justification to hide behind of, you know, uh, this is revenge or, you know, they wouldn't, they wouldn't have had to live through generations of stillborn children.

[SPEAKER_05]: So they wouldn't have that kind of generational [SPEAKER_05]: killing civilians on the Citadel. [SPEAKER_03]: And I guess we don't really know the mindset of the Crogan back then. [SPEAKER_03]: Because all we have is the stories from, you know, the Celarians, the Terrians, the Asari saying that they were a volatile, [SPEAKER_03]: angry race that could not be managed in any way shape or form, but we don't know what it was actually like.

[SPEAKER_03]: So it could have been that the Krogan who had been uplifted and promoted technologically beyond where they should have been were like that. [SPEAKER_05]: And correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't before the genophage didn't Krogan women have more power politically? [SPEAKER_03]: I believe so.

[SPEAKER_03]: I believe it was more of not a matriarchal society, but women held equal seating. [SPEAKER_05]: You're right, right? [SPEAKER_05]: So I cannot imagine croaking women being as dead set on killing civilians on the Citadel. [SPEAKER_05]: But let's, I want to toss this back to Magistar because we've been kind of spitballing here.

[SPEAKER_05]: And Magistar, you came up with this idea. [SPEAKER_05]: So how do you see this playing out? [SPEAKER_04]: I see it more so. [SPEAKER_04]: going like a more, um, amped up right now, situation, because at the end of the day, if they, the program would have been at their peak form, science was, like I could see if they, [SPEAKER_04]: capture the tower and probably captured some salarians and turians who were trying to smuggle that all in they could probably get what that actually is from them.

[SPEAKER_04]: So that would be in their governments in their plans running throughout. [SPEAKER_04]: That would fire up the anger and the the horror because once everyone hears what they were trying to do. [SPEAKER_04]: that would be terrifying for a lot of them. [SPEAKER_04]: So I'd see them lashing out forward doing that thing and get to Citadel.

[SPEAKER_04]: And then we'll say hitting the Citadel, what's that type of chemicals? [SPEAKER_04]: We never know what repercussion disease or mutation-wise might happen with those. [SPEAKER_04]: So it's going to cause inflammatory [SPEAKER_04]: reaction in my head from the Citadel races as well, causing it to be, how causing the basically shot her around the universe situation, explosion her around the universe.

[SPEAKER_04]: and kind of causing a total war situation, because some races will be cool with it, some of that cool with it, but some races will be indifferent to it, and other races will be more flammatory, like you say, it was a Tory incident, everything else. [SPEAKER_04]: I think it might even cause some splitting of current alliances with the terrain, the salarians, the Asari, and the other races as well.

[SPEAKER_04]: So I think humanity would have came into a lot more different [SPEAKER_04]: full ton of war situation by the time that point came around. [SPEAKER_05]: And I'm also thinking in terms of what kind of galaxy would the battarians be expanding into with this kind of prolonged conflict going on with the program.

[SPEAKER_05]: Because the battarians were ultimately still expanding. [SPEAKER_05]: through, uh, sorry, I can't remember the name of it. [SPEAKER_05]: Was it the traverse? [SPEAKER_05]: I can't think so. [SPEAKER_05]: So yeah, I feel like this regardless might extend conflict. [SPEAKER_05]: And by that point, uh, change power dynamics throughout the galaxy.

[SPEAKER_05]: So, all right, well, I don't, I want to give superfly enough time to bring up his what if question, superfly. [SPEAKER_05]: If you were going to change one thing about the genophage, what would it be, what are we talking about in terms of what if here? [SPEAKER_06]: Um, there's kind of pondering that in between talks about Magister's question, um, [SPEAKER_06]: The one that kind of looked at me was, what if the genophage didn't only affect the program?

[SPEAKER_06]: What if it became a trans species like the slurians didn't quite get all the variables down correctly and it ended up affecting other species as well? [SPEAKER_05]: Oh, what a massive faux paw that would have been, like not just obviously in terms of the sheer trauma and impact other species, but I mean, can you imagine the blowback politically?

[SPEAKER_06]: Oh, like especially if it didn't affect other species, like say it affected the terrians and [SPEAKER_06]: animosity with that and still amongst the races as well, just to kind of throw another little wrench in it. [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: That's where I was going with that too, you were talking about how, like, if they messed up and didn't code it correctly to be crogan only, what if it didn't affect the Dextro amino DNA.

[SPEAKER_03]: And so the only race that wasn't affected was the one who deployed it. [SPEAKER_03]: Well, in the glory. [SPEAKER_03]: It's an accordion. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: Uh, but are the Koreans even a part of the galactic, uh, civilization at this point? [SPEAKER_05]: I'm not sure. [SPEAKER_05]: It's a good question.

[SPEAKER_05]: I will look up the timeline on that. [SPEAKER_03]: Uh, I think we do need the timeline pulled up so that way we know who we're dealing with, uh, at this point. [SPEAKER_05]: Well, if I remember correctly, the Kroganer billions were like in the first millennia. [SPEAKER_05]: See of the current era.

[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, okay. [SPEAKER_05]: So I think this is like more than a thousand years before humanity joins the Galactic community and If I remember right the Corrients had only invented the guess I want to say and like the 1800s So I want to me [SPEAKER_06]: I remember it, it was 300 years before humanity joined, so 1800 makes sense.

[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, so the Ragni wars for reference were in 80. [SPEAKER_05]: The year 80, see the current era. [SPEAKER_05]: OK. And the Ragni then go extinct in 300, see. [SPEAKER_05]: The Croganer billions were in 700, see. [SPEAKER_05]: So yes, in the first millennia. [SPEAKER_05]: And drag is born during the Croganer billions.

[SPEAKER_05]: So, uh, the program of billions last for about a hundred years. [SPEAKER_05]: So, drag wood, remember this, um, and they end, uh, so they end in about 800 and then, in 900 C, that's when the terrain's game that seat on the council. [SPEAKER_05]: Um, let me find, uh, [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I am not seeing on the timeline here on the wiki, exactly when the corians... Do you see when the morning war was?

[SPEAKER_03]: That might give us an indicator. [SPEAKER_05]: Well, so the morning war was in the 1800s, so that started in the 1850s, you see, that's when they created the GIF. [SPEAKER_05]: So yeah, the Koreans, I don't think, would be a part of this, basically, that's like a thousand-plus-eaters. [SPEAKER_05]: So I see day in Chances, the Geth Abraham Lincoln Samurai and the Facts Machine.

[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_05]: Yep. [SPEAKER_05]: You know, I was also thinking in terms of, like you mentioned, only beings that wouldn't be affected, maybe the turns they would look certainly pretty guilty. [SPEAKER_03]: Gremly guilty, and that might also, I mean, if every, if all other races are being affected by this, and only the Terrians didn't, that's going to cause a lot of animosity towards the Terrians, and could possibly make it so that way some races ally together against them.

[SPEAKER_05]: oh my god what a chaotic situation this would be so you still have the war going on with the croaking against the council but then the turians are kind of getting pushed out and left to their own devices. [SPEAKER_05]: How would the Turian military fare against a pissed off-crogan populace without the intelligence from the salarians, right, or the botics from the assauray?

[SPEAKER_05]: So this would become somewhat of a free for all, and like a kind of last man standing situation. [SPEAKER_04]: rather than the Turians because of the basically you'll know a verse and all the other races are basically suffering together on any of the genophage. [SPEAKER_04]: So [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I feel like it would probably take a lot of the focus off of everything that the Crogan had done to that point, and the focus would of course be turned toward curing the genophage now that the Asari and the Salarians are affected as well.

[SPEAKER_05]: and be definitely politically damning for the Turians. [SPEAKER_05]: I would guess the Solarians as well, because the Turians would readily tell people. [SPEAKER_05]: Hey, we didn't even make this. [SPEAKER_05]: You can't blame us. [SPEAKER_05]: Blame the Solarians. [SPEAKER_05]: They're the ones who messed up.

[SPEAKER_03]: But the Selerians could come back with, well, you deployed it before we were ready. [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: Because I believe that's what that's what happens in that little video in the Citadel DLC. [SPEAKER_03]: It is. [SPEAKER_03]: It is. [SPEAKER_03]: That the Turians deployed it before the Selerians had given the final OK.

[SPEAKER_05]: So wow, what a, what a shit show. [SPEAKER_05]: That would be. [SPEAKER_05]: Oh my gosh. [SPEAKER_05]: And I feel like you would allow other races to kind of seize a power vacuum. [SPEAKER_03]: Hmm. [SPEAKER_03]: We could definitely have more, I mean, like we talked about earlier, the peterians could swoop in because they do have a very strong military base as well, and they could become one of the new powerhouses of the Citadel.

[SPEAKER_05]: Considering that volus have envirose suits on every planet that doesn't have an ammonia-based atmosphere, [SPEAKER_05]: I don't think they would be affected. [SPEAKER_05]: So, that's true. [SPEAKER_05]: The volus being unaffected with such a strong economy on their own actually had they even come into the fault yet.

[SPEAKER_05]: I don't think they had. [SPEAKER_05]: So, but regardless, the races who had yet to be introduced to the Galactic community might find a much more chaotic situation and willingly shut themselves off. [SPEAKER_03]: I could see that instead of coming in, you know, like the galactic council is here with open arms to welcome you as the new member of the galactic community.

[SPEAKER_03]: I would be really hesitant to join a community that's tearing itself apart. [SPEAKER_03]: That's in war with each other. [SPEAKER_05]: Right. [SPEAKER_05]: Or if you're the volus, maybe you see that as a potential profit scheme where you can fund both sides of the war or all sides of the war.

[SPEAKER_05]: Or maybe they use this leverage as an ability to gain a more favorable kind of client-race contract with the turians. [SPEAKER_03]: Right. [SPEAKER_03]: Volus selling the rights to their environments suits. [SPEAKER_03]: So that way, you know, the next generation is [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, or just jacking up their prices for whatever kind of exports in goods or information and services that they have.

[SPEAKER_05]: I don't see the volus as passing up on a good deal. [SPEAKER_05]: So yeah, this would certainly shake up a lot of the power dynamics in the Milky Way as well. [SPEAKER_05]: I think that it's a far more likely that the genophage would be cured of much sooner. [SPEAKER_05]: If it did affect the Asari and the Selerians.

[SPEAKER_04]: I think that there will be a more radicalized asari too because imagine the horror that the [SPEAKER_04]: But the horror that she'll send them out was the dead clutches, children are dead that. [SPEAKER_04]: Imagine that for a long live race, like the Asari, and you literally have these ancient matriarchs who are like half thousands of, not thousands, but hundreds of deceased children that they tried to bring into the world.

[SPEAKER_04]: I think that would, I think that was significantly decreased the diplomacy in the galaxy, because they were normally normally the [SPEAKER_04]: I think they will be a lot more hostile to back then what else. [SPEAKER_05]: That's an interesting point. [SPEAKER_05]: The differences in biology would make this far more of an existential threat, like an immediate existential threat for the Asari.

[SPEAKER_03]: Because as far as I remember, you know, we don't get a whole lot of sibling, sorry. [SPEAKER_03]: Only Samara, you know, has her three daughters, but that's really the only time that we get to hear a lot about, you know, a matriarch having more than one child. [SPEAKER_03]: So, [SPEAKER_03]: If the possibility is 1 in 10,000, that your child is actually going to survive, that's for an assari who doesn't reproduce that often, that's, that's re-skilling.

[SPEAKER_03]: That's not a general phase. [SPEAKER_03]: That's a genocide. [SPEAKER_05]: well yeah well that brings up an interesting point of like at what point do we decide that the genophage was genocide and you know um but yeah I think certainly you know for the assari like you mentioned reproducing much more slowly because they have longer life spans this might militarize them more heavily because they would realize oh crap you know the generation that's [SPEAKER_05]: So, that's a scary thought, and I feel like that would ultimately result in the galaxy being a lot easier to conquer for the Reapers when the time came.

[SPEAKER_05]: And that might actually mean that the time comes sooner, right? [SPEAKER_05]: That humanity doesn't even get introduced to the Galactic community before the Reapers come. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: I guess this all based on when do the reapers come? [SPEAKER_03]: Is it when a all-out civil galactic war breaks out or when enough races have reached the technological threshold?

[SPEAKER_05]: Right. [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_05]: Okay, interesting. [SPEAKER_05]: Well, why don't we go over to the Mid-Break and when we come back, Genesis, I want to hear your, what if question about the genophage? [SPEAKER_07]: All right, here we go. [SPEAKER_07]: We have beef, bacon, we have beer, the foods of my people.

[SPEAKER_00]: Young men have funny ideas of what a star you're like. [SPEAKER_00]: I blame the extra net and computer games. [SPEAKER_02]: Rex, shepherd, grunt, shepherd, racks. [SPEAKER_05]: All right, here we are in the middle of the show. [SPEAKER_05]: And this is the part where we read out your five star reviews.

[SPEAKER_05]: And unless I have missed one, I don't think we have any new five star reviews on Apple Podcasts. [SPEAKER_05]: Correct me if I'm wrong, Genesis. [SPEAKER_05]: But we do have new comments on our Spotify. [SPEAKER_05]: And by the way, I know I am still behind on uploading our last episode to Spotify.

[SPEAKER_05]: Again, my apologies, it has been a struggle trying to balance the new job and the podcast and now my toddler crazy that I can say that I have a toddler. [SPEAKER_05]: But anyway, we do have some new comments on the Garus Part 6 episode that I wanted to highlight and looks like we [SPEAKER_05]: This is a personal favorite.

[SPEAKER_05]: You'll see why I'm highlighting this one. [SPEAKER_05]: From S Jenkins, nice, 294. [SPEAKER_05]: Long time Mass Effect fan here. [SPEAKER_05]: Currently on my third legendary edition playthrough, but in reality, over the years, I'm much more than that. [SPEAKER_05]: Found this podcast a few months ago, and I have finally caught up to 255.

[SPEAKER_05]: It's been great listening and with all those playthroughs, there's still something you guys hit me with that I had yet to know. [SPEAKER_05]: Thank you for this podcast, look forward to each one and I should go. [SPEAKER_05]: PS legend, fellow Ohio native, also a Buckeye and an Eagles fan.

[SPEAKER_05]: gobox gobirds. [SPEAKER_05]: Hell yeah. [SPEAKER_05]: All right, kinserd souls out here. [SPEAKER_05]: So thank you for that review S Jenkins and you must be a site design that it is late August and about to be this start to football season. [SPEAKER_05]: So gobox gobirds. [SPEAKER_05]: All right, just wanted to highlight that one real quick.

[SPEAKER_05]: And I also want to highlight our tier 5 patrons that [SPEAKER_05]: so generously continue to support us month after month. [SPEAKER_05]: And so we have Retrobot, Superfly 440, Ed Boy, Kira C, let's in it to see you know, William and looks like we've got a new one, Night Star Raider, that's just according to my Patreon, right here that I'm looking at.

[SPEAKER_05]: So welcome, night star writer and thank you for the rest of you for your continued support of us and it looks like actually I neglected to mention we have another new patron who has joined Cameron E has joined on the C-Sec Officer tier. [SPEAKER_05]: So thank you Cameron and I think I think that's it.

[SPEAKER_05]: Oh, you know what we I think we never shout it out [SPEAKER_05]: Kate E, who also joined as a C-sector. [SPEAKER_05]: So thank you both for joining and supporting us through the Patreon. [SPEAKER_05]: Genesis, am I missing anything? [SPEAKER_05]: I'm going through the mid-break with zero notes right now.

[SPEAKER_03]: No, I think we're good because on Patreon chats, we don't do planet cards or voice lines. [SPEAKER_03]: That's right. [SPEAKER_03]: So we just think the amazing patrons for all the support that they give and yeah, we can get back into it. [SPEAKER_01]: All righty here we go after time and drift among open stars alongside the light and through shows of dust I will return to where I began.

[SPEAKER_08]: Celery and reproduction different, very little sex drive. [SPEAKER_08]: If intended to try human, would try you out my bakeries. [SPEAKER_05]: Alright, here we are on the second half of the show and man my camera has been acting up something fierce today. [SPEAKER_05]: I so the thing is I know what it's what it's been caused by.

[SPEAKER_05]: I have to buy a new USB-C cable and it turns out that the ones that do 4K video are like a little bit more expensive and I've been being a stingy little a whole trying to find the cheapest one but I should just pull the trigger and go on. [SPEAKER_05]: But anyway, that's neither here nor there, Genesis.

[SPEAKER_03]: I want to hear what your question is for the Genevieve H. I would like to discuss what if the Genevieve H was not as effective as the Solerians originally planned. [SPEAKER_05]: So, and even the original having required a modification at over time. [SPEAKER_03]: Right, over time, you know, they had their biology had adapted and things were, you know, the procreation was a little bit more not significant whatsoever, and I'm looking for effective.

[SPEAKER_03]: And so that's why we have more than developing the second part of the genophage, but in the beginning what if it wasn't as effective, we know that I believe it was roughly 1 in 10,000 children was actually brought fully to term to life, which is a horrible statistic to talk about, but what if it was like half that?

[SPEAKER_03]: 1 in every 5,000, 1 in every 2,500, how would that have changed the political landscape for the Krogan moving forward? [SPEAKER_05]: Hmm, well I think it would have pissed him off more. [SPEAKER_05]: I think it would have been less demoralizing, more angering. [SPEAKER_05]: Hmm, because they would still be able to sustain their numbers, and I don't think that it would completely annihilate their warmaking capability.

[SPEAKER_03]: I could see that for sure, because they would be able to maintain a population even even if it's just a little bit smaller than what they had been. [SPEAKER_03]: Okay. [SPEAKER_05]: Let's open this up to Superfly 440 and Magster. [SPEAKER_06]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_06]: Um, so I remember in the third Victus, the Primark was talking about the genophage and how, or the Kruggen rebellions and how close they were.

[SPEAKER_06]: Um, so if they were as effective as it was, I think the Kruggen might have won the rebellion and the whole outlook of the galaxy would be completely different. [SPEAKER_06]: Um, just because of what Victor said told us and again, that's through his perspective in the history that he was told.

[SPEAKER_06]: So you do have to take it with a bit of green assault, but I do think that they were on the ropes that they were that desperate to potentially cause and all out, uh, genocide of an entire species. [SPEAKER_06]: They were that desperate to pull that before the slaryn's even said it was ready.

[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, and that's that being said, I do wonder if the Crogan would try to then completely exterminate the Turians. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, those were along the lines that I was thinking was that if they were able to maintain their population, it would cause a lot of hostility that, you know, not all of their children were being born, it would cause a lot of, they would still be very much a war-fearing, a war-faring race and going out there and attacking.

[SPEAKER_05]: Um, I can see them trying to slam an asteroid into the mass relay in the, in Paladin system. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, I could definitely see that happening. [SPEAKER_03]: Um, I could also see, for me, I was thinking more, when I had this, what if it was more about like culturally, what the crow can [SPEAKER_03]: I think the Crogan would have been able to keep their uplifted status of the new technology that they got and then move it even more forward.

[SPEAKER_03]: We wouldn't have had this regression to where [SPEAKER_03]: Uchanka looks like a nuclear wasteland. [SPEAKER_03]: They would have maintained things. [SPEAKER_03]: The cultural significance of having all the tribes across the world would have maintained that way. [SPEAKER_03]: We would have had people at Crogan Lake, Lady Bacara, having a more prominent role [SPEAKER_03]: So, I think that it would have culturally kept the crow can moving forward rather than stagnating to network all mercenaries.

[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, yeah, I can I can see that because there would be more hope right at the end of the day there you said instead of one in 10,000 one in 5,000 so You know Double the first hill at your rate. [SPEAKER_05]: There would be more hope. [SPEAKER_05]: It would still be tragic right But it wouldn't be decimating [SPEAKER_04]: uh... magistrate what are your thoughts on this if the uh... genuphage was just not as effective definitely will get them cussie but uh... cussie belly i think that's our miss uh... yeah yeah case for war did they would have it because it would like you guys were saying it wouldn't break them that to one and ten thousand dollars of that was a breaking thing that caused them all to just be like this this is not

[SPEAKER_04]: the way. [SPEAKER_04]: But if it's one of 5,000 or 1 in 2,500, that's just a tragedy now. [SPEAKER_04]: Like this is a situation where this is a rallying call. [SPEAKER_04]: Like you see what they did to us. [SPEAKER_04]: They could do this to you. [SPEAKER_04]: I say the situation being what some of our clients brought up earlier, potentially them joining [SPEAKER_04]: We're going at it.

[SPEAKER_05]: Well, I don't know if the Forcher are capable of organizing. [SPEAKER_04]: That's what we're talking about for people. [SPEAKER_04]: They'll just go on like a bazooka. [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I don't even know if it's going to be possible against like a regenerative warm species. [SPEAKER_05]: That I once described as being like cottage cheese, stripped, stripped, show for a booby trap.

[SPEAKER_05]: I think I once described them as rat-eating motherfuckers. [SPEAKER_03]: I still agree with that sentiment. [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: I still agree. [SPEAKER_05]: So, they are, uh, but yeah, honestly a terrifying notion, uh, that it would just piss off the croaking a little bit more.

[SPEAKER_05]: And I also think that, [SPEAKER_05]: If it weren't as effective, I don't think it would be as, it would be as supported among these Citadel races, like the average populace, because it would be justified. [SPEAKER_04]: Yes, sorry, my side with them. [SPEAKER_05]: Right, like, okay, so we did this horribly unethical thing and what did it get us?

[SPEAKER_05]: and if they're going to like, and it's really horrible to say this, but I honestly feel like for lack there for better term, human nature is that, okay, the people who would support that would say the ends justified the means, but if there is no ends to justify those means or if the ends just sucked anyway, there's really far less room to support such a horrible tactic, right?

[SPEAKER_04]: Exactly. [SPEAKER_04]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_04]: I'm going to go away. [SPEAKER_04]: It just got worse. [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_05]: So people who may have once supported it would suddenly turn their back on it, because they didn't want to be on the losing team. [SPEAKER_05]: So there would be interesting.

[SPEAKER_05]: And I feel like by the time humanity had gone introduced to the galactic community, there would be far less consensus about the genophage having been justified. [SPEAKER_03]: green because it's like almost everybody that we talked to, kind of has this, you know, the genophage was a good thing.

[SPEAKER_03]: The genophage was justified. [SPEAKER_03]: The genophage was what was required. [SPEAKER_03]: It's not until we really talked to Rex about it that we get his perspective, but everybody else that we talked to, especially in Mass Effect 1, is fully in support of the genophage. [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, and, um, I wonder how that might change things for Morton's life, right?

[SPEAKER_05]: Would they have sent a modification team in to overcompensate? [SPEAKER_05]: Would it have been, would the STG have gone in sooner, right? [SPEAKER_05]: I don't know. [SPEAKER_05]: Maybe the spectres may have been formed sooner. [SPEAKER_03]: Oh, that's an interesting rabbit hold it all down, but I don't think that we have time to go down that one.

[SPEAKER_03]: No, we don't want to get to hear where you're what if. [SPEAKER_05]: Yes, let's go down my holds. [SPEAKER_05]: All right, so I had been thinking, you know, during this whole episode about how can I have what is this worth while after all of those great ones. [SPEAKER_05]: But my thought process was a little similar to a couple of your guys' questions, and I need people to suspend their disbelief for this one, right?

[SPEAKER_05]: So suspend it, it's gone. [SPEAKER_05]: pretend that the Crogon rebellions were not in fact started from sheer Crogon aggression. [SPEAKER_05]: And instead, it was limited to a political dispute. [SPEAKER_05]: And so there were colonization competitions and whatnot. [SPEAKER_05]: At some point, [SPEAKER_05]: news leaks that deterrients are developing a weapon of mass destruction that clearly contravenes Citadel law.

[SPEAKER_05]: The deterrients have not yet gotten to seat on the council, so keep that in mind. [SPEAKER_05]: And the salarians in the Asari have a very real chill that gets sent down [SPEAKER_05]: to develop a competing WMD to ensure peace through mutually assured destruction. [SPEAKER_05]: I can see the salarians doing this.

[SPEAKER_05]: So, what if the WMD that the salarians help the Crogan develop is a genophage that would only affect Dextromino-based DNA? [SPEAKER_03]: Ooh, flipping it around so that way there's a secondary genophage that would affect the terrients. [SPEAKER_03]: Okay. [SPEAKER_03]: I don't know if the terrients would actually deploy the genophage then.

[SPEAKER_05]: Well, in my thought process, perhaps they haven't even developed it to the extent of it being anywhere near, ready to deploy. [SPEAKER_05]: And what if the WMD for the Turians was completely different? [SPEAKER_05]: What if they were literally just working on like a easo rail gun? [SPEAKER_05]: Um, and this was the response to that.

[SPEAKER_05]: First of all, I think the Crogan would not hesitate in deploying it. [SPEAKER_05]: I think they would. [SPEAKER_05]: I absolutely think they would. [SPEAKER_05]: And without the benefits you affect them and their numbers, I think they would get close enough to Paladin to actually pull it off.

[SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, if there's no genophage, that has been deployed. [SPEAKER_03]: They definitely would send full forces. [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, it might not be the most scientific deployment ever, they'd probably load like a starship with a bunch of the genophage and just ram it into the planet. [SPEAKER_05]: and then hope that it spreads.

[SPEAKER_03]: Ram, let us. [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_05]: But, you know, if it, if it affect the Turians, I have a feeling that the Turians would not be as resilient or redundant to a genifage deployed against them and if their race did survive this. [SPEAKER_05]: they would they would become a rogue state like the deterrence did and they would have a chip on their shoulder about citadel space and the rest of the citadel council and what have you and i think that we would find a lot more turians and terminus systems lot more broken on the citadel yeah and i think maybe the crogan would become the peacekeeping force of the citadel [SPEAKER_03]: That would be interesting.

[SPEAKER_03]: Superfly, it looks like you got thoughts on this. [SPEAKER_06]: just progan and peacekeeping. [SPEAKER_06]: It's just kind of like sandpaper on the last. [SPEAKER_06]: It kind of doesn't sound right. [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah walk walk loudly and carry a massive stick. [SPEAKER_06]: Okay. [SPEAKER_06]: No, my thoughts were wondering all about if not the terriens as the peacekeepers, who would it be?

[SPEAKER_06]: Well, you said earlier, Genesis, the parents had a big force, uh, uh, this, I mean, like, I'm trying to wrap my, wrap my brain about other species that could possibly fill that, um, military void that, that the terrain to leave behind, if, in fact, there was a genophage developed, so that effectively wiped them out.

[SPEAKER_05]: I'm thinking in terms of the croak and only being allowed in that role as the peacekeeping force because of the hubris of the salarians thinking that they can control them. [SPEAKER_05]: We uplifted these people. [SPEAKER_05]: Now we can use them as basically attack dogs. [SPEAKER_06]: And that McCrogan would be used as the peacekeepers, even if they didn't really do a good job of it.

[SPEAKER_06]: I could see that, especially since the civilians were arrogant enough to think that uplifting them was the right call and they could control them. [SPEAKER_06]: Clearly that worked out. [SPEAKER_05]: Magister, what are your thoughts on this? [SPEAKER_04]: I think the Corgan would dominate the galaxy.

[SPEAKER_05]: Thank you. [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, I think, I think you're right. [SPEAKER_05]: I think this larynx would quickly be proven wrong about being able to control the Crogan. [SPEAKER_04]: I got out of the day, the genophage. [SPEAKER_04]: It did significantly cripple their population. [SPEAKER_04]: And this all took place in like the 800s.

[SPEAKER_04]: By the time you get to the current timeline with the how they populate, they would populate it in the galaxy basically by that point. [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, and instead of the Turians, the first contact with humans may have been with Crogan, probably worse. [SPEAKER_06]: They might have wiped out this.

[SPEAKER_06]: Uh, with this potentially lead way to a second gen of age being to up for the Crogan if the Solarians, as we said earlier, topic control what they can't control, would it potentially lead them to take what they built to make the Turingan sterile to making the Crogan sterile like they actually did in the games?

[SPEAKER_05]: or perhaps going even more overboard so that it wasn't just one in 10,000, it was like zero. [SPEAKER_05]: Completely zero. [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, yeah, I can see that happening over correcting and being like, you know, we made a mistake. [SPEAKER_05]: We can't control these people or these savages as this.

[SPEAKER_05]: So Lairn's might say, and then completely annihilating them. [SPEAKER_05]: So then by the time [SPEAKER_05]: Mass Effect 1 happens. [SPEAKER_05]: We enter a galaxy where the terrians are severely crippled and there are no Crogan. [SPEAKER_05]: I don't think that we would have been able to defeat the reapers then.

[SPEAKER_04]: Honestly, I don't think it's second genifage will work though. [SPEAKER_04]: I think it'll be the genes out of the bottle by that point because by a time they realize how much of a threat the Crogan's are. [SPEAKER_04]: They would have already like [SPEAKER_04]: left to chop up like there would be like because I imagine the reason why to help a genophage work is because a majority of the crowgain were there but by the time you get a couple hundred years they're colonizing a bunch of the planets you want to be able to just hit the crowgain you would hit a portion of them but you can like genophage the full population of the crowgain's [SPEAKER_05]: with the salarians expedite their attempt to uplift the Yag, to unleash the Yag on the Krogan.

[SPEAKER_05]: Thereby making their problems infinitely worse. [SPEAKER_05]: I feel like they might feel like they might if they felt like they were threatened with certain annihilation from the Crogans It'd be the frog going into the cats to the snake situation. [SPEAKER_04]: Or yeah, you keep trying to uplift it to fix your problem, but you just make it a worse Yeah [SPEAKER_05]: And then hell, who knows, maybe we would just find a galaxy full of yog.

[SPEAKER_05]: By mass-vect one. [SPEAKER_05]: So yeah, probably for the best that the Terrians were not. [SPEAKER_05]: completely annihilated by Mass Effect 1. [SPEAKER_05]: Because again, I think that just the galaxy wouldn't stand a chance against the Reapers, if the Turians and or the Crogan were not around.

[SPEAKER_04]: like many of humans coming to the sort of hell like cause imagine if the salarians are like going on be like we need to we need to find a way to fix this problem and so they go to like they try to explore other like areas still up with different species and then they find a humans man we got charlomane on the citadel before GTA 6 [SPEAKER_05]: Oh, yeah, here we go, and then the humans inadvertently introduce the Black Plague.

[SPEAKER_03]: Mmm, yes. [SPEAKER_04]: Well, it's not like a Death State world. [SPEAKER_03]: But it's bringing the plague. [SPEAKER_05]: Day zero and chats as Templars with guns. [SPEAKER_05]: It's time for him. [SPEAKER_05]: It's time for a fucking crusade. [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_05]: By the way, the Crusades were fucked up, and I'm sad to see that there is a sizable contingency of people who idolize the Knights Templar, and they are becoming more popular, big surprise.

[SPEAKER_05]: for everybody involved, by the way. [SPEAKER_05]: Don't fan it. [SPEAKER_05]: Yes. [SPEAKER_05]: So, uh, anyway, uh, yeah. [SPEAKER_05]: Medieval humans on the Citadel sounds like the kind of Issa-kai that I want. [SPEAKER_05]: That's right. [SPEAKER_03]: Yes. [SPEAKER_05]: It's technically an Issa-kai.

[SPEAKER_03]: Let's, let's write the fan fix, Sam. [SPEAKER_05]: Oh, my god. [SPEAKER_05]: Yes. [SPEAKER_05]: Yes. [SPEAKER_05]: Sir Arthur, on this on in the wards, mm-hmm, yep. [SPEAKER_03]: I want that. [SPEAKER_05]: I really am well as [SPEAKER_05]: at Corzine. [SPEAKER_03]: I'm gonna be bringing a broad sword into the Citadel and see how they react.

[SPEAKER_05]: Crude, but effective. [SPEAKER_03]: That's so nice, Morton. [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, all right. [SPEAKER_05]: So I think that pretty much wraps up this week's episode. [SPEAKER_05]: We had like four different what-ifs. [SPEAKER_05]: And I hope that this conversation has been intriguing and entertaining for people.

[SPEAKER_05]: I'd love to know what people think. [SPEAKER_05]: in the comments, both on Spotify or YouTube when I get around to a good Lord, I am so like I've got such a backlog of YouTube videos to upload and I gotta be honest, the primary delay there is creating the YouTube thumbnails. [SPEAKER_05]: Like if I didn't give a damn and I just made the same YouTube thumbnail for every episode, you know, I would have them online by now, but sadly I give a [SPEAKER_05]: But yeah, that's all, and you know what, Genesis, we still have to, like investigate this whole Patreon merch thing, because I guess there's some problems with that.

[SPEAKER_05]: If you're one of our patrons, and you haven't been receiving your stuff, let us know on three email, and hopefully we can kind of piece together what exactly is happening and how to rectify it if we can. [SPEAKER_05]: A lot of us is out of our hands, a lot of it isn't [SPEAKER_05]: That being said, and to the episode now, so I'm gonna go around and ask you guys, you know, what you got going, and I'm gonna hear about a good game that you're playing recently.

[SPEAKER_05]: So, Magistrate, what do you got going? [SPEAKER_05]: How can people get a hold of you? [SPEAKER_05]: And any specific great games to recommend? [SPEAKER_04]: I'm a master to Vita on the Patreon as well as the discord group. [SPEAKER_04]: I'm currently not playing anything because I'm in the middle of a transition that was moving and have my console packed up, but as far as a game for a recommend though, I advise people to look toward a blend of the Dunwalker.

[SPEAKER_04]: We'll be coming out relatively soon and it looks like a [SPEAKER_04]: a bit of romance and vampires and you get to be like a medieval blade, so that's all it's fun. [SPEAKER_04]: Right on. [SPEAKER_05]: Right on. [SPEAKER_05]: All right. [SPEAKER_05]: Superfly. [SPEAKER_05]: What do you got going on?

[SPEAKER_05]: How can people get to hold to you? [SPEAKER_05]: And what games you've been playing lately? [SPEAKER_06]: I've been pretty busy lately. [SPEAKER_06]: So I haven't gotten a lot of gaming in lately. [SPEAKER_06]: I've been playing Jedi Fallen Order again for like the third time. [SPEAKER_06]: Dude, I love that game.

[SPEAKER_06]: But you can get all of me in this court. [SPEAKER_06]: Same user name, super like 440 on there. [SPEAKER_06]: So if you ever feel like chatting me up for whatever reason, I'm hitting me up. [SPEAKER_05]: By the way, some excellent mods available for Jedi Fallen Order. [SPEAKER_05]: Obviously a lot of Mandalorian mods, but I have a Darth Reven mod, which is pretty cool.

[SPEAKER_05]: Pretty jarring to hear CalCastes' voice coming from that, but whatever. [SPEAKER_05]: can only go so far. [SPEAKER_05]: Genesis, what do you got going on and how can people get a hold of you? [SPEAKER_05]: And what's a game that you're really enjoying lately? [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I am Genesis, J-E-A, J-E-N-N-A, S-I-S, and I have my two other shows, the two girls want to ship podcasts where we analyze, write and review, all that the world's video game romance has to offer, and the cyberpunk lorecast where we explore the foundations of the past, the state of Night City today and the news of the future for all things, cyberpunk.

[SPEAKER_03]: news of the future for a sure on cyberpunk, our ad runners season 2 comes out in October. [SPEAKER_03]: To see and I are super stoked on that. [SPEAKER_03]: And then I have been playing dispatch the superhero game, and, of course, Magic the Gathering Arena. [SPEAKER_03]: I think I officially hit over a thousand hours in Arena, and I might have a problem.

[SPEAKER_05]: It's not a problem if you're enjoying it and you're good at it. [SPEAKER_05]: So I'm going to enable this edition. [SPEAKER_05]: All right. [SPEAKER_05]: Go check out her shows. [SPEAKER_05]: Genesis is wonderful and if you like this show, you'll love those. [SPEAKER_05]: So I don't have any other shows.

[SPEAKER_05]: And I'm not streaming right now because I'm up to my ears and alligator, so to speak. [SPEAKER_05]: But I'm always open for a message, if one of you has like a lore font or a question you want to send to me, then go ahead. [SPEAKER_05]: And if I have social media, it is at in seven legend.

[SPEAKER_05]: And you can find me same tag on the robots radio discord. [SPEAKER_05]: I have been playing magic together in a lot. [SPEAKER_05]: Just because especially now that I'm just... [SPEAKER_05]: really, really busy. [SPEAKER_05]: I'm appreciating the, the face time. [SPEAKER_05]: So to speak, the face to face, social interaction of, you know, tabletop.

[SPEAKER_05]: And I'm also playing a ton of kingdom come deliverance to God. [SPEAKER_08]: I love that game. [SPEAKER_05]: That game is so great, and that's pretty much all I've been playing lately, but I'm very much enjoying it. [SPEAKER_05]: Oh, yeah. [SPEAKER_05]: And then next weekend, I'm going to be a Pax West.

[SPEAKER_05]: So if you two are going to be a Pax West, and you want to hang out, let me know. [SPEAKER_05]: Genesis, I think this is the first year you're going to have to skip it in a little while. [SPEAKER_03]: Yeah, I don't think I'm gonna be able to make it this year. [SPEAKER_03]: Maybe, maybe I'll pop up for just Saturday.

[SPEAKER_03]: We'll see. [SPEAKER_05]: Well, I have impressed past. [SPEAKER_05]: So I will be there, I think, every day of the convention. [SPEAKER_05]: And they have an entire building that they're devoting toward tabletop stuff. [SPEAKER_05]: So that should be fun. [SPEAKER_05]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_03]: I might come crouch, crash.

[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_05]: Well, you're welcome to. [SPEAKER_05]: You're welcome to as long as you're fine with OG. [SPEAKER_05]: My cat annoying you in the middle of the night.
