Pop Culture and Foreign Policy with Mike Fox

This week Grant and Zoe are joined by Mike Fox, a Foreign Policy and Diplomacy Professional. Mike talks about what Marvel can teach us about foreign policy, how American movies give American ideals a soft power bump, and why Grant is wrong about the Olympics (thedsrnetwork.com/a-diplomatic-boycott-of-the-…).

In the final segment, Mike discusses the recent elections in Chile (cnn.com/2021/12/19/americas/chile-election-gab…), Grant critiques America's Drone Wars (nytimes.com/2021/12/19/magazine/victims-airstr…), and Zoe suggests you go see Red Rocket (a24films.com/films/red-rocket).
