Good Morning Football is a production of the NFL in partnership with iHeartRadio.

Good Morning Football! Yeah, that's right. Welcome inside.

Good morning, football, everybody. Presented by Old Trapper Beef Jerky. It's Friday, October 23rd. Jamie Erdahl, Manti Teo, the famous Willie Colon on a Friday at the breakfast table. And Kyle Brand is still in Paris. He looks fancier than he does yesterday. My, oh, my, Kyle, how the culture has influenced you. And now you stand before us on how many hours of sleep, how much football did you watch last night, and how many baguettes have you consumed?

Great questions across the board, Jamie. Bears-Patriots kicked off at 2 a.m. local and ended about 5.30 in the morning. I watched the entire game. They went to sleep. But I want to give you a little what they call a scene set in TV. The Iron Lady, come on. Let's give it up for the Eiffel Tower.

There she is.

A couple things you can share with your friends about the Eiffel Tower. Finished in 1889, it was the tallest building in the world that held the strap for like four decades until the Chrysler Building took it away from it in New York City. My favorite thing about the Eiffel Tower, when they.

Built it, The Parisians hated it, like absolutely hated it, thought it was disgusting.

One critic even wrote, I went to go have lunch inside the Eiffel Tower because it's the only place in Paris where you can't see the Eiffel Tower. Great line, great bar, would have trended all over social media. Over here we have La Seine, this beautiful river. And then the bridge behind us is known as the Kissing Bridge.

There's a lot of marriage proposals. In fact, there's a wedding photographer over there with a bride and groom right here.

On our show.

If you know Inception, there's a scene where Leo DiCaprio is walking under this bridge right here.

There's all kinds of photo shoots.

Wow!

That was just a car backfire.

Don't worry, we're good.

Anyway, I'm here in Paris. We had an incredible game last night.

And anything I could show you, like world monuments, all of that, can't compare Jamie Erdahl. to one Cairo Santos split in the upright from 58 yards.

I want you to tell us the story.

I wonder what a football would sound like if it doinked off that Eiffel Tower. Or would it be a double doink on the Eiffel Tower?

Rough, right?

KB, thank you for that. Thank you for painting such a beautiful picture. There's so much wonderful artwork in Paris. a Mona Lisa of a Thursday night game. It started right at the beginning and it went all the way.

To the very end.

And there was some spiciness in the middle of halftime as well. Bears, Patriots, it was a beautiful thing. And it started emotionally for Chicago to honor one we lost recently.

Tonight, we remember Mike Ditka. A Hall of Fame tight end and the coach of the 1985 Super Bowl championship.

We knew the Halloween costumes were going to be a plenty in October for Ditka, but now that he is no longer with us, you know that population is going to grow.

We love Mike Ditka.

And the Bears go on to win this one 30-24 Thursday night. Let's hear from both quarterbacks as Caleb Williams is victorious.

We're in a good spot, obviously. Long season. We got guys that go down.

We got guys that come back off injuries.

All of that.

So um like i said long season feel good uh going into this extended period before this next game uh be able to get ample amount of time to to rest ample amount of time to uh focus on these next guys um and be able to uh get exactly where we need to be as a team.

Yeah it's frustrating so i know that was a big turning point in the game and i know i let my team down gosh um it just Those plays I talk about all the time, those plays that can swing the game, can impact the game, and that was definitely one of them right there. I wish to definitely have that one back in a lot of plays.

Hanging his head in defeat, a frustrated Drake May. Understandably so, but the Bears look good right now, so it's an admirable opponent to fall to on Thursday night to begin Week 7. We welcome in Ian Rappaport now, our NFL Network Insider with us. Rappaport, I mentioned it, Cole Komet went down in this game, so Bears fans worried about one of the more prolific tight ends to play the position and a big boost to their offense.

A key part of their offense now seems to be out for the foreseeable future. Colcomette going to have tests today on the knee injury he suffered last night. It was a non-contact knee injury, and I know his knee was contacted, but you look at it, you study it, it certainly seems like his knee buckled before the hit, the kind of long-term significant injury that players fear. Ben Johnson talking to reporters after the game said, I don't think it looks very good, which for Ben Johnson, who rarely discusses injuries, that is a pretty revealing statement.

Note right there, that.

Is an indication that this is something that is not expected to be short term. You can also see the reaction from his teammates. Cole Komet has been a starter since 2020. They obviously still have Colson Loveland, so they do have a starter at tight end. But Komet is a huge part of everything Ben Johnson does.

Yeah, he truly is. Rap sheet.

We'll get back to you in a little bit as we look ahead to week seven. But we want to keep talking about this game as Caleb Williams has now back to back 300 yard passing games coming off his hamstring injury. Drake May through his third red zone interception.

Of the season.

So, Kyle, you stayed up at the weirdest hours. You committed entirely to this game in the middle of the night in Paris. You get to take the cake here.

The first pass at this game.

Oh, I'm honored.

I mean, people like to say Ben Johnson is a psycho and a serial killer, and I've said it myself. But you've got to act that way, and he did at the end of the game. The decision to go for the kick says so much. It took such cojones to do that, understanding that Cairo Santos had already missed the last kick, like you said. He had him ready to do the field goal. It was going to happen.

And then Caleb takes a big, dumb sack and.

Loses 10 yards. Ben Johnson said afterwards, he talked to Cairo. You want it? You want it?

And Cairo said, yeah, I want it. And I think he was kicking for his job right there. If he misses that kick, there's at least another kicker brought in for competition.

It's just a huge kick.

I also want to point out Roma Dunze made huge plays down the stretch for the Bears.

Huge.

We know it's Loveland is great. Luther Burton looks like a superstar. If this bear seems going to win playoffs, it's guys like Roma Dunze and Cairo Santos making big plays like that. The end of the game was just an absolute clinic. in nerve and spine. But the end of the first half was not. One of the strangest plays these guys have ever seen is the Ramondre Stevenson dump off Hail Mary in which nobody touched him and nobody tackled him. If the Patriots win that game, that is one of the most infamous plays of the year.

It's the infamous play of the year. Now, it's instantly forgettable.

This is just a silly highlight because the Patriots didn't lose the game.

In fact, after this, they go into the locker room.

The Bears come out with the ball in the second half and go right down the bleeping field. Ben Johnson's asked about that weird play from the halftime reporter, and he just says, we're on to the second half.

That's the psycho.

It's one thing to have cool press conferences and scream in the locker room, but when it's decision-making time and when it's motivation time, that's when you go full Dexter.

That guy... That is the man.

He has a great coach who has a great, strong spine and was making crazy decisions last night that ended up working for the Bears. 5-2 against a good team.

And a lot of that, Kyle, is coming because of his quarterback. You talk about his mentality. I think it's trickling over to Caleb. All offseason, heading into this season, the question was, what's the next step for Caleb Williams? And we on this show often made... basketball references to what he did great. He was the highlight dunker. He was the guy that did the between the legs 360 dunks.

What we wanted to see was him make his free throws. What we wanted to see was him make his mid-range. And that's what he's been spectacular in the past two weeks, especially last night. I saw Caleb Williams that was throwing on time. What I mean by that is when he got back into his pass drop, when that back foot hit, whether it be a three-step, five-step, seven-step, that ball was coming out. There were times where his wide receivers on those deep little in-breaking routes, He was throwing the ball before they even came out of their break. That's how on time Caleb Williams has been. The past two weeks, Caleb, Ben Johnson gave him a goal when he first became the head coach to have a 70% completion rate. The

past two weeks, Caleb Williams has been at 75% and it showed last night. One thing that also showed for me, is Caden Ellis came up the middle to blitz Caleb with this one right here.

He sidestepped him and then threw the ball. A young Caleb would.

Have sidestepped and ran in circles and tried to extend plays via his legs.

Last night, it was a quarterback, Caleb.

Williams, that was on a mission to show that he has grown and he has matured. Yesterday on our show, we asked the question, who have we learned more about? Caleb or Drake May. And I said I learned more about Caleb because of his mentality.

There was a play that we showed. The first play of the highlight was his throw to Luther Burden. And Luther goes all the way down the field.

What you might not have seen is after this play is Caleb go over there and yell.

At Luther Burden for doing some.

celebrating. Right here. Here it is.

He's yelling, get on the ball. What are we doing?

That, to me, is what I learned about Caleb this season, is that it's the leadership.

It is the growth.

It is the maturity.

It is the eye single on one prize, and that's winning a Lombardi for the city of Chicago. That was impressive to me. That's what's been impressive to me about Caleb the first six weeks of the season, and that's what was impressive to me last night, Willie.

Yeah, it's interesting.

We're watching Caleb Williams go from being able to playmaker to a complete quarterback, and we saw it in real.

Time last night.

Even the game against Atlanta last week, everybody gave him a little criticism because he was like, yeah, well, he dinked and dunked through that game. What we watched last night, him become a complete operator, efficient one, not having a turnover. He started off slow in the first half, but nevertheless, we watched his team play with the lead, which is something we didn't see last year. The thing about last year, the Chicago Bears, all the games they won was in the second half.

RDS.

Yeah, there was this team.

That was like, man, the second half, watch out because they come out guns blazing, particularly in the fourth quarter. See the Bears play with the lead. Caleb Williams protect the football. Luther Bird didn't have a big first half. For this team to start off slow but pick it up in the second half, it's interesting to see as much as we kind of tap Caleb Williams on the shoulder and say, hey.

You're growing up, this offense is growing up too.

We're watching a complete outfit led by Ben Johnson and Caleb Williams. So if you were to give Caleb Williams' flowers, give the whole offense their flowers. Because this isn't just like the Harlem Grove Tigers where they're putting up points and fancy tricks. We're watching a sufficient outfit put up points in real time. Luther Bird having a big first half.

You can see him being able to run the ball. Caleb Williams is making smart decisions with the football. Big-time throws after big-time throws and chunk plays. So, I was just really impressed with the whole offense, in particular, Clayton Williams.

This was a shootout.

By the way, if you're the NFL watching this game, you're in safe hands because of Drake May and Caleb Williams.

Both have big games. It's the future, bro.

Patriots now sit at 4-3, the Bears at 5-2, and they both have many buys now. They get to wait 10 days, look back at the tape to see what they can and cannot fix ahead of next week. Let's bring in Ian Rappaport once again to look at some injuries ahead of this weekend.

For example, we always have.

To start with the ramps when it comes to injuries conversations.

Rappaport, so what do you got for us?

Yeah, the last week or so, it has been all about the Rams' injuries, including some of their key players. We learned last week it was Devonta Adams out about six weeks with a hamstring injury and plenty of people on defense. Yesterday, we learned that Puka Nakua left practice with a calf injury, went to go have tests. My understanding is after the test, it was more minor than anything else. I wouldn't say precautionary because it's not nothing, but at least not a significant injury. What that doesn't tell us is whether or not Puka Nakul would be able to play this weekend for the Los Angeles Rams, considering they do not have Devontae, considering how shorthanded they are.

Especially offensively.

Up front on defense, no Puna Ford, obviously no Miles Garrett. He is on injured reserve. There's plenty of players we've learned they've lost on defense over the last several days. You'd like to have their offensive guys. Now I think it's safe to say Puka Nikula up in the air for Sunday. There's also a lot of conversation around Jonathan Taylor, the star running back for the Indianapolis Colts.

It's not about injuries. This is about trades. And obviously, Chris Ballard, the.

General manager, was fired earlier in the week. The record is what it is, causing teams to wonder, is Jonathan Taylor available? Our colleague Stephen Holder posted a story at ESPN.com saying several teams are interested.

In trading for.

Taylor if available.

What we don't know is how willing will the Colts be to have a fire sale or to trade off some of their best players. This is information that we're going to get in the coming weeks, but it's certainly something that bears watching.

All right, Ian, thanks so much for all that news, especially ahead of the trade deadline.

That's one of the spicier names to remain aware of.

We wanted to pass along our thoughts to one of our favorite players in the NFL and their family, of course, as sad news emerged yesterday when Marshall Falk announced himself that he has been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease. The Hall of Famer said he remains in a good place. He's coaching right now and the doctors caught it early. He's on medication that keeps his tremors and his hand rigidity at bay. But Marshall, we love watching you play and we love having you as a part of the NFL and its history. And we're thinking about you and your family this morning. Kyle Brandt, I know that you have thoughts about hearing this type of news about this guy today.

Yeah, I hated to hear it. I love the the.

Insertion of some optimism that Marshall had there, but I'll speak as a fan.

Marshall Falk is one of the reasons I do what I do.

He is one of the people who made me fall in love with football, coming out of San Diego State, what he did with the Colts even before the Rams. It's just one of the coolest players of the last 50 years. I've said this many times as a football player. He is on my running back Mount Rushmore. It's Barry Sanders, Walter Payton, LaDainian Thomason, and Marshall Falk. So none of this has anything to do with what he's going through now.

I just speak as a lot of other people are today, as a fan who watched him all throughout his career, who's watched him do things that I don't think any running back had ever done before or since. We as a show and we as just football fans in the United States, around the world, are thinking about him, and he is in our hearts today as well as his family.

Absolutely, Kyle. Well said. Marshall's 53 years old.

He's coaching right now at Southern University, and he was on a neurologist podcast discussing his diagnosis and making sure that people knew that with this heavily publicized announcement that he makes that he wanted to help as many people as he possibly can. So, Marshall, thank you for sharing that with us, and we really wish you best in your treatment moving forward. All right, Saints Steelers, it's happening Sunday morning for us, Sunday in Paris for Week 7.

Aaron Rodgers, as I mentioned yesterday, back-to-back-to-back international games for the quarterback, London, Dublin, and now Paris. So, guys, we look at this matchup, Saints Steelers.

What do we think of– because they're both coming off a win.

Yes, they are both coming off a win for the Steelers.

It's a huge win.

You know, Willie, it's like– You didn't score that many points for the first three quarters of the game.

It was bad. Right?

Then it became DK Metcalf time and Jeremy Bernard and, you know, Aaron Rodgers looked like Aaron Rodgers of old. And I thought that was a huge step because the first few weeks it's been a Jalen Warren show. And it was like, the question was, Willie was like, what's your passing game look like? And that came alive against a really good Todd Bowles defense that has been shutting out offenses or being really dominant against offenses the past couple of weeks. What this comes down to for me, Willie, is, the Saints are playing really good football.

Correct.

They do have an Achilles heel, which is keeping the quarterback safe. And if there's anything about the Steelers that we've known, not only this year, but throughout history, is they can get after a quarterback pretty dang good. So they need to first keep Tyler Shuck safe.

And if they can do that.

Then you can worry about Chris Olave and, you know, Alvin Kamara and all of those guys that they have. Jawan Johnson, who's having an incredible year at the tight end position, but they need to keep Tyler Shuck's shape.

You know, it's interesting.

The Steelers play zone 78% of the time, right? That's due to Patrick Graham. That's his team. You know who struggles against the zone? The Saints, particularly Tyler Shuck. He's throwing five interceptions versus the zone. So you're talking about a defense right now who has started to kind of find identity. And one way they were able to do that is because they realized we got some elite pass rushers.

Let's not put them in zone.

So they took Nick Herbert, got him out of that A gap, and let him live on the edge.

He had two sacks. Yep. A big game against the Buccaneers.

Nevertheless, man, this defense is starting to find its way.

So you're talking about a Saints offense that.

Was able– to kind of, you know, get things together and come out of MetLife with a W against the Giants. Overall, this defense led by the Steelers and T.J. Watt and all these guys, they're starting to realize for us to have a legit chance to win ballgames, man, we got to be elite. And you saw Jamel Dean have a big interception last week against his former team.

You saw they was able to stop the run.

And the secondary of the Steelers, despite having all these injuries, this young group is really starting to pop off the tape. So it comes down to a defensive ballgame. The Steelers got the edge.

All right, I mentioned the scheduling quirk for Rodgers to become the first quarterback to go three straight international games. The other scheduling awareness that the NFL seems to have is that any team that Teron Armstead played for gets a game, because last year Teron showed up with me in Madrid, Spain, because the Dolphins were there, and now he's with Kyle in Paris because he's a Saints guy.

So, KB, take it away with your new friend.

Thank you.

We have 80-mile-an-hour winds here. Teron's going to get blown off into the Lausanne River. It's incredible. Even your side. Teron Armstead, our favorite Saint.

What's up, buddy? What's going on, my guy? How you doing?

I'm doing great. It's great to see you. I've been here for a couple of days. How long have you been here?

Five minutes. Is that true?

A cold five minutes. Just got here, battling this Parisian wind already.

But I'm excited, man. I'm ready for this game. So why are you excited? Who Dat Nation is here. That's right.

I flew in from Dallas earlier.

Mm-hmm.

Playing full of Saints fans.

Mm-hmm.

No Steelers. I didn't see any.

Yes.

I didn't see any.

I'm not being biased.

I'm just telling the honest truth.

Yes.

I didn't see any black and yellow.

It was black and gold.

Dude, there's black and yellow.

Trust me.

I didn't see it on my flight. Maybe you confused the gold with the yellow.

I didn't see it on my flight.

By the way, look. We have like.

This is like the Instagram epicenter of Paris right now. We got people behind us making TikToks during the commercial.

We're doing every angle. Yes, girl, work it.

And we're trying to.

Talk Saint Steelers over here. All right, we're going to power through it. Saints haven't had a lot of goodwill over the last few weeks. The Steelers have had a ton. How can the Saints flip the script here and steal this one?

Saints got to build on what they did last week, getting the turnovers. They turned the ball over from the Giants four times. Can that become contagious? Can that become the norm for the Saints? Maybe not four, but if we can get one or two off Aaron Rodgers, I love the chances for the Saints.

And offensively, Alvin Kamara.

One of very few in NFL history, 5,000 yards receiving, 5,000 yards rushing. Can we continue to let him roll? Let's see that 41 vintage mode AK.

I would love to see that. It's the kind of guy internationally you want to see.

To the people.

Like, this is a cool football player. Look how his style of play, his personality. I've always loved Kamara on the field. Tell me about— let' s.

Talk in the nitty-gritty.

There's some takeaways that the Steelers are mismanaging the travel.

Let's get into this conversation.

They got in this morning, and there's some pictures of them getting off the plane. They don't exactly look all put together, a little sleepy, but the game isn't until Sunday. Your thoughts on it. The Saints have been here. The Steelers are just getting here.

What do you think?

Anytime I've ever had international games, Kyle, I've always done the entire week. I felt like it helped get the body acclimated, get caught up to speed, be in the elements, because this is different.

I know.

This wind, this environment is different.

So hopefully, to.

The Saints' advantage, the Steelers are not acclimated. They're sleepy by the time we kick off on Sunday.

I just don't know how in a post-Rams to Australia world, you're trying to still get cute with the travel. I mean, we saw, that was a culture-altering event. And also, Teron's mentioned this, I have. Jamie, you know this, there's nothing I hate more on remote shots than people talking about the weather. It's so pointless and boring. The weather is crazy right now.

I don't think you understand. It's not just, it's windy.

Our equipment is getting blown all over the place. If there's any sense of this leftover for the game... They're going to need a big Jalen Warren, Alvin Kamara output, right?

I'm in my left tackle spot.

Yeah, for real.

He's kind of in that power stance.

I have this staggered on purpose because this is how I brace. So I'm bracing this Parisian win like a bull rush. It's real out here. In the middle of the interview, Teron staggered. He started staggering for a base.

But anyway, I hate talking about weather, but I do like talking with Teron, and I like talking about Steelers Saints here in beautiful Paris.

Well, Kyle, sometimes even when you do it, you make it interesting. That's why they had to build the Eiffel Tower the way it's at with the wide base. They had to make sure it was not bothered by that pregame win. But, guys, I mean, since you're at the Instagram epicenter of it all, give us your best Instagram pose.

We'd love to do a photo shoot since you're out there, okay?

So, go ahead, guys. Best Instagram pose. Okay, here we go. Hold on, Jamie.

You're asking yourself a question. Kyle, I got you.

We got you, Jamie.

Get the angles, Kyle. Good.

I got you, KB. Pose.

Angles, girl. Get it, girl.

Yes.

Oh, that's cool. Yes.

Oh, make sure to shoot it from up high. Okay, very good.

You guys are so cute.

Make sure to like and subscribe and comment, everybody.

Okay, we got you.

Drop your apps in the comments. We'll link your outfit. We'll get where to get Kyle's beret. It's probably at the airport. Probably at Charles de Gaulle.

We're going to play Mad Minute next on GMFB. You got plans next Valentine's Day? I got an idea for you. You can enter for a chance to win Super Bowl 61 tickets and a three-night vacation at the Disneyland Resort to.

Watch the Super Bowl champion cavalcade.

Scan the QR code on your screen now, or you can visit www.espn.com slash S-B-L-X-I.

And when you win said contest.

You can act like you had the plans the whole time. And you're like, honey, I had this booked. I had this booked and ready for Valentine's Day 2027.

Great idea.

Right? Don't say I never did anything for you.

Brownie points.

That's why Mad Minute.

It's going to be 60 seconds on the clock. Good thing seconds translate internationally. Kyle, we don't have any metric system issues here. Baker Mayfield has missed the last three games with a thumb injury, but it's trending in the right direction for him to play against the Panthers on Sunday. Good for the Bucs to have the quarterback back potentially.

Here's how his thumb's doing.

Yeah, feel good. Just improving. It's been a process for me. You know, I never Never really missed time because of injury.

So not fun.

You always want to be out there with your guys, but just doing the rehab process, doing as much as possible each and every day and trying to recover as quick as possible and take it one day at a time. So it's been feeling slowly better and better, but that's the frustrating part. It just takes time for an injury like that.

I like how Baker had to check us on reminding us. He's like, I never really miss a lot of time due to injury, Kyle.

So you have to be able to grip the football, though.

Just in case you didn't know.

Thumb injury and all for the quarterback.

Bucs, Panthers, Kyle, NFC South discussion. You have that at 60 seconds on the clock from Paris.

Hey, listen, you know what they have a lot of in Paris?

Oh.

They have a lot of great ones here, and I hope that Tampa Bay has theirs back.

You just saw the clip. It's not confirmed.

We don't know.

He's practicing in full. This Jalen Daniels thing has been a nice, cute little story, and I respect the guy, and he's got a bright future. This is the franchise quarterback.

The season needs saving. Every single Buccaneers game is close. This one will be, too. I hope Baker's out there.

Yeah, listen, let's be honest.

I think Baker's is tougher than roasted boat nails, right? But the real story is about the Buccaneers defense, man. They've been able to shut down every team's number one receiver. So you're talking about from C.D. Landon to Jamar Jates, they've been able to put.

The straps on them.

This game is going to be a big game for Territory McGregor.

McMillan, excuse me. Yeah, right.

Yep, for the Panthers. He's been absolutely spectacular. He's been the number one option for Bryce Young. What you need to see out of this office in particular is them being able to run the ball because, you know, Buck's got a pretty good run.

Yeah, go Panthers.

If we learned anything about the Panthers is they will clip us and put it on their motivational video.

Nice.

Go Panthers.

Go Panthers.

My bad. I get out of there faster.

Really, I'm coaching up flag tonight.

You think it'll hit well with the kindergartners if I say you've got to be tougher than rusted boat nails?

It'll work.

It'll work.

They'll be like, what? A boat?

Is it going to sink?

What's happening?

What's the parallel we're making here? Kyle, Niners, Falcons, who can stop the San Francisco 49ers? Can it be the Atlanta Falcons? Maybe the argument is that they're at home. But at this point, we're just looking. We're schedule watching for who can win. Give the 49ers their first loss, Kyle. What do you make of this game?

Yeah, it's probably not the Falcons. They're winless at home. And, I mean, the Niners sitting there going 7-0. But it looks like it, again, with the injury stuff. I don't know if Mike Evans is playing or not. And, like, you know me. No one's a bigger Mike Evans fan than me. So, I say this with full respect. I don't even know if it matters. As long as, like, Shanahan shows up and there's 11 warm bodies, he'll find a way to win. Atlanta has been a fun story for a little bit. But the Niners just seem like a freight train. I think it's 7-0.

Yeah, I'm with you, KB.

Pay attention to the Falcons' run defense, which ranks fourth in the NFL right now. They've been able to put the straps again on Derrick Henry, who had a big game, but every other run back has struggled against the Falcons' defense.

So pay attention to that.

Well, I also think you talk about run defense. What about their run offense? Bijon the past two weeks, I think defenses have really clued in on him.

A little bit.

Hopefully he can get back to what he did against the Green Bay Packers and all those guys because as long as Bijon.

Is running, we have that sky count, which we learned who did it.

Yeah.

That is the clip that we.

All want to see on Monday morning when we do the highlights. So get that run game going for the Falcons.

Maybe a 49er should fly somebody there so they can also create that content for Christian. Yeah, I think that'd be kind of fun.

Great idea.

Colts have had a tough week.

They let their GM Chris Ballard go in the middle of the week.

They are rudderless this season, sitting at two and four.

And now they got to go to Minnesota and take on a Vikings team. Kyle, that's coming off a bye. And they are also unbeaten. What do you make of this game?

Yeah, I mean, the attention should be on the Vikings, but just a minute on the Colts. You've got to win a game here. If there was ever a time to just put your foot in the ground and say enough's enough, they're 2-11 in their last 13. You're hearing about trading Jonathan Taylor, who is one of the best Colts of the 21st century. If you have anything in you, if you have an upset in you.

This is the week to do it.

Otherwise, it's going to be c'est la vie, and I hope it's not.

Yeah, the Colts are cooked. Let's just be honest with you. I mean, let's not even play with it. This is absolute dumpster fire. They don't even have this one of the top corners and the sauce garden won't be playing in this game.

So best of luck Colts. Yeah, I'll be good.

Kyler Murray the last game against the Saints showed bits of what he used to be as a coroner as a really good quarterback utilizing his legs being very very accurate not to mention. I think Justin Jefferson is back Jordan Addison is back TJ Hawkinson should be playing. and Jordan Mason, I think, is playing. So they're going to be entering this game with a full gamut of their offensive weapons. And Brian Flores in that defense continues to be a nightmare for a whole bunch of offenses. And so I know Daniel Jones is trying to make things work.

I don't know if this is the team to do it against.

Yeah.

Fun little nugget.

If you're watching the broadcast of Vikings Colts on Sunday, the radio guy that calls the Vikings game, Paul Allen, who's a voice we use all the time, he's going to sound the Galler horn because it's his 500th broadcast for the Minnesota Vikings.

Oh.

Just a little nugget pregame for you.

To watch out for.

Kyle, Browns-Titans. Shout out Todd Munkin. He's redefining. Browns are going to Browns. We accept it, coach. We understand what you're trying to do there. But the Titans are coming off a win, KB. So what you got here?

Don't let my Titans get hot, folks. Paris, France, don't let the Titans get hot.

Two in a row.

There's a fact that I saw.

I think it's a fact, allegedly, that the last time the Titans had back-to-back wins, it's been like– years could that possibly be true I see it on the NFL research sheet but I'm like no way I think it is true I will go absolutely nuts I'll shave my head if the Titans win this weekend no I won't but I will go crazy and I'm very happy it shouldn't be about them it should be about the Browns I love you Cleveland but Tennessee you got to give me something I'm with KB.

I'm actually picking the Titans to win this game.

What?

Yeah.

Listen, I think Brian Daybell understands they've been absolutely horrible in the first half. They've been really conservative to try to protect Cam Ward. It's time to let the governor cap off. I know he gets a little reckless and can be inaccurate. But, man, you've got to figure out how you can play better in the first half. I think you've got to throw some trick plays. Get some more explosive plays. But I got the Titans, man. I think they're going to upset. I think you may get one, KB.

Well, if they get one, then don't let Schmidt, the kicker for the Browns, get one. Because for some reason, that guy just comes in clutch for the Browns when they really need him to. So, I like the Titans, but go Browns.

Okay, more on this game.

The Browns have the top two rookies in receiving yards in Denzel Boston and Cardinal Tate.

So, watch out for that one.

Kyle.

I'm going to triple down on this fact. There's a lot of different ways to look at this, so bear with me. The Titans are seeking back-to-back wins for the first time since weeks 10 and 11 in the 2022 season. They have 64 straight games.

Of not going with back-to-back wins, which is one shy.

If they lose this game, then they tie the Browns for the longest stretch in NFL history, which the Browns did this from 2014 to 2018. And lastly, they have 13 straight losses following a win which is right behind the routes. There's three different ways to look at it. But, Kyle, you were right, and it's still shocking no matter what.

I still can't believe it. I hear you saying it, Jamie. Is that really true? You just did that whole rant, and then nowhere in there is the Jets? That means you're in some crazy territory. It's them and it's Cleveland, and the Jets are like, what did I do?

I guess nothing as bad as Cleveland or the Titans.

But, man, I hope that doesn't happen.

That's a terrible, terrible stretch.

I just need Kyle to yell more things at people in Paris and.

Be so disinterested in what he just said.

I know, they're offended.

Kyle, we're bringing back... I need a slap with a glove.

Earlier this week, I referenced how infuriating arcades games can be. And then someone on social media sent me a YouTube video on the conspiracy theory behind it. It's like, no, I know they're trying to steal my money, okay? I still like to play them. So we're going to do Claw Droppers. This is a vintage GMFB segment. We used to play to New York. Put the quarter in the machine.

Yes.

Player that emerges, you're thinking of something of them this weekend. So I'm going to go first to show you guys how we play. I have my magical GMFB quarter. I'm going to pull it out from behind my ear. Put it in the machine because this guy that I want to play the game with and move my little joystick around, he's going up against.

A scary, scary, scary defense. Who is it going to be? Who's my stuffy that I want to? Oh, it's a J.J.

Card.

J.J.

McCarthy getting his first start in the Giants blue. This kid's been through it after he got drafted in Minnesota. So much was said about his play.

And why he won when he was in college and what type of system he has to be in.

It clearly wasn't it for the Vikings. It wasn't the match. Maybe the Harbaugh thing will work again. But I actually also am worried about him a little bit because Will Anderson Jr. is leading the league in sacks at seven and a half. So, J.J., you strap on those laces tight. You tape them up. Put them down flat. You've got to use your feet this weekend because Texas defense is great.

J.J.

McCarthy. And then if you could sign the back of it for me, then that would be great, too.

J.J.

McCarthy is my card out of the claw dropper.

Especially after he plays a great game.

Okay, my turn.

Okay.

All right, claw dropper.

You know how to play now.

Yes.

So nowadays, Jamie, it's not a coin. It's a little swipe of the card. You swipe the card, and the thing goes around. And as this claw goes down, this is where I want to have a great game, not only because we're.

Going to be there, but because this.

Team needs a lot.

Of that moral support.

Jalen Carter.

Jalen Carter.

Okay, Jalen Carter.

He leads, or he's tied with the team lead in sacks. He's also leading the league in turnovers, or forced fumbles, I believe it is. Jalen Carter, he needs to give that spark. I mean, Jalen Hurts is on IR. Lane Johnson retired. Cam Juergens was traded away. There's a lot of moral support that.

This team needs.

We're talking about the Giants.

Jalen Carter needs to be that source.

Against the Jacksonville Jaguars, I think he single-handedly beat the Jacksonville Jaguars offense over on the goal line, doing everything he could do to help his team win.

He's going to need to do it.

Monday night football, because we're going to be there in Philly, and I want them to.

Do it against the Cowboys.

Just keep them away from Dak. Keep it clean.

And that's all I'm going to say about that.

Great job, Jamie.

Go ahead, Willie.

Go ahead, Willie. Your turn. Go ahead, Ush. Let's drop that claw.

Okay.

Let's do it.

When Willie says it, it sounds weird. Good one, Willie.

I've joined the KB train. Something about the Titans, I know they've had a.

Rough season thus far, but I feel like this is where they kind of pick up speed.

And it's going to happen with this young man right here.

You talk about they're playing a very, very good Browns defense who held Baltimore to 10 points.

I understand that.

And you know Baltimore, excuse me, the Browns play a lot of cover one, which is a lot of man.

But this young fellow is drafted fourth round overall.

You've got to win on the outside. Put him in the stack.

I want to see him in reduced fronts.

I believe in Carnell Tate. Listen, Titans may not have Calvin Ridley. Tony Pollard, the run game has been ugh. But nevertheless, man, they need a big game out of this guy. He will be the breakout guy this weekend.

That's a good one, Willie.

Hopefully Denzel Ward don't put him in a claw.

You know what I'm saying?

Yeah.

Well, positive vibes.

Double rookie pack.

Right.

Sign it.

Kyle, go ahead. Play this game.

It's getting worse.

Oh, no.

It's getting worse here in Paris.

Yeah.

Yeah. We're taking on water. It is not a nice day.

Day in Paris.

And I hate talking about the weather so much.

So you know what I'll talk about instead? No, get off me. Go to the claw game. Pull my guy out. You're going to need an.

Extra strong claw for this because he's built and he's strong.

Come on. Pull him up. Pull him up.

Pull him Yeah, give me Braylon Allen from the New York Jets.

Jets Dolphins this week. The Jets, I don't know, maybe they got a little bit of momentum, something. I don't know, but I love this guy. And more importantly, bring.

Up the photographs that I requested for this segment.

I know you got them. Here's why I love Braylon Allen. Look at this maniac.

Yeah!

Look at my guy. Sleeveless, sceptered, down.

In Jersey, just like thinking about it a little bit.

Yeah! Absolutely love it.

That shot of him screaming with joy, that's going to be me when this segment is over.

I can't wait.

But that's it.

Braylon Allen, that's the guy.

And go back to you guys in your indoor studio.

Kyle, it's great because you're going to be done with TV right after this, right? You don't have to stand out there for the rest of the day and keep talking about Saints Steelers, right?

You know what?

I'll be answering the same questions and the same topics with Greeny and Saturday, whoever.

The hell else they put me with.

I love those guys, and I'll be doing it shortly over on The Worldwide Leader with my girl, the Iron Lady.

Oh, I never want this segment to end.

Kyle Brandt with an umbrella that he bought from a street merchant, and there you go.

That was claw droppers, everybody. Kyle won that.

Good job, KB.

There it is.
