On this Monday episode of Nothing Major, John Isner, Sam Querrey and Steve Johnson recap the first week in Miami, including Sebastian Korda’s three-set win over world No. 1 Carlos Alcaraz and what it means for Alcaraz’s Sunshine Double swing and Jannik Sinner’s chances of the title!
They discuss Ben Shelton’s early loss, Alexander Zverev’s dominant serving performance and lefty record, and key Round of 16 matchups featuring Fritz, Tommy Paul, and Korda, plus notable upsets in the men’s draw. On the WTA side, they ask the question as to who can challenge Sabalenka & Rybakina?
They also react to Joao Fonseca’s comments comparing Alcaraz and Sinner, the Danielle Collins–Corentin Moutet social media dust-up, and close with a recap of their locked in picks!
