From Hollywood to you.
Thank you for listening to us. Ryan Seacrest.
Seacrest!
On air, on air, on air with Ryan Seacrest. Good morning. We're back on it, Monday. This morning, we have a Ryan's Roses coming up. And this will go down at 7.40. A refusal followed by an awkward pause. Now, what I mean by that is she asked him to use his phone... And he had this awkward reaction to that. And what she should have done is said, well, are you worried that I might find something on your phone? Is there a problem that I would like to use your phone?
So she said to him, why? Why can't, what are you hesitating about me just quickly using your phone? Are you cheating on me? She actually said it. And that's when he had this like 10 second awkward pause. I mean, I don't even know why we need to make a call. If somebody waits to tell you the answer, if they're cheating on you or not, they're cheating on you.
Also, if they hesitate to give you their phone, that's also so sketchy.
Red flag.
Yeah.
Isn't it? I think that's a total red flag in any relationship. If they hesitate now, maybe they want to close.
I know.
I just, there's no, no, no. Yeah. Was it close some tabs? I don't know. No, you got to pass the phone. Keep the tabs open. Go through those tabs. I'm going to tab you. 102.7 KISS FM. I'm noticing everyone's drinking a lot of liquid because they're so excited to go use the new bathrooms we finally got here at the KISS FM hub. We've had bathrooms out of commission, the local ones, the nearby ones, out of commission here at the iHeart hub here. for a long time and they refurbished they remodeled the bathrooms and i thought i was gonna be excited to use them but you guys are not so into our new bathrooms.
They're so dark yes it's like a cave in there gray like dark gray and dark green tile and then no mirrors no Well.
The mirrors are on order. I think there is a delay in mirror delivery. So you can't go in there and, you know, whatever you do to yourself. But I find that the green tile is soothing. I need calm forest like green to get things done.
That's what I used to think, too. Like I was like, I think because I saw that they were going to do this. But I do think you need the light.
The light brings energy.
I like the green, but we need some light.
Colors, too. Yeah, but I'm okay. They were closed for two months. The fact that we got our company to put new facilities in here, this is something you should be thrilled about and celebrating, not complaining about. And now other bathrooms are closed to be remodeled in the building. And there's a line for the, this is a real hangout.
This is a real hotspot right now. Conversations are happening inside these new bathrooms. See, guys, we have quick, conversations in the bathrooms anyway I'm not so sure you're used to that with a bunch of people lingering over like guys we're standing up so we can have a quick chat it's so.
Weird to me that you guys talk to each other in the bathrooms like what and then.
Where do you look uh straight ahead You don't, no, you don't, you might, you might like lean to the side of the person, but you always have your eyes. It's actually a remarkable physical conversation because your eyes, you don't make any eye contact ever yet. You have a talk.
Right, right, right.
You guys aren't used to that. So now you're finally having conversations because all the people are lining up to go into these new bathrooms.
Yeah.
The things that we, the privileges we have, right?
Yeah.
I never thought about that, Mark, but there's never any eye contact. It's the only place you never make eye contact and still have a nice chat.
You always stare right ahead of the wall and you always discuss like this morning is sports from the weekend.
That is so weird.
I could not imagine not looking at somebody when I'm talking to them.
Often there's advertisements right where our eyes are at standing level.
What?
That's a good spot for ads. Yeah, that's real.
Yeah.
All right. Well, I think we should be celebrating the fact that the building or iHeart gave us new forest green tiles to soothe us every morning, every afternoon, every day. I just want to look around the room. I would say, Tanya, you are a hugger. When somebody meets you for the first time, often you will You hug.
Yeah, I like a hug.
Your universal greeting is a hug. It's not for everybody. And it's an interesting moment because if you are not a hugger and you meet a hugger like Tanya and you go in with a handshake, that creates a very awkward collision.
Yeah, I've had some awkward moments, but I will say most of the time if people go in with the hand and they see me coming in for the hug, they'll come in for the hug.
They'll change. Well, Michaela, when you met all those guys on Blind Isn't Love or Love Isn't Blind and narrowed it down to Rusty, your choice, you had to meet and say hi to all the guys at some point. Did you handshake, hug, do the one cheek kiss?
Oh, so I went in for a hug, but one of them went in for a handshake. So it was kind of awkward, but I don't I don't know what the right thing to do is anymore because I'm a hugger.
It really is, I think, individual dependent. I mean, I think at work, you just extend your hand. But then again, at our work with artists and the kind of vibe we have, a lot of people hug, right? I mean, Mark, what do you do?
I'm a handshaker because I don't want to assume hug. It's weird as a male to assume hug, right?
But I feel like people don't like.
Shaking hands anymore. What about hugging other guys?
Hugging other guys is okay, but then you do that kind of like half hug, that kind of smack on the back one time.
Yeah. Yeah, why do guys do that? I find that to be so contrived and weird that we do that.
Why?
What are we patting them on the back for? We do a hand clasp, pull in, pat on the back, and then push away.
Who invented that, by the way?
I don't know, but I never see Ruby or Michaela or Tanya doing that to each other.
No, it's very much a bro thing, but I like it.
It is so universal. And I've never really explored why we pat them. Like, good job. Atta boy. What is that for? Atta boy. I think if you are a hugger, people can see you coming. You go ahead and you keep that. But if you want to have an absolute zero chance of an awkward collision, just extend the hand.
That would be the best way to keep it clean and simple. All right, coming up next, if you're carving your pumpkin now that the weather is finally cool, you can carve it because it's fall and Halloween is on the way. But something to make it easier and have your pumpkin last longer. Coming up. It's Kiss FM, a quote of the day in a second. Most of us carve our pumpkin the same way every year. You cut around the stem, start emptying it out. But there's a better way. cut it from the bottom. So if you cut from the bottom, it keeps the stem from rotting.
It keeps the side strong. It's easier to scoop out the pulp from the bottom as well. And then you can just set it over a candle with the hollow bottom. I've never done that before.
Oh, in my mind, I'm like, how do you balance it? Because the stem is going to be, you cut it out the other way around.
That's smart.
So try it. Cause I know you're about to do that with your family, right? This week, today's quote, What you admire in others is a reflection of your own potential. I thought that to be very interesting.
Yeah, it's gorgeous.
What you see in other people and you look up to is what you want to tap into. I love that. Let's kiss. It is 102.7 KISS FM this morning. Rolling up on 7 o'clock. Let's get to the headlines, Cisney. What's happening? KISS FM headlines with Cisney.
Well, officials downgraded evacuation orders and warnings for the bike fire burning near Santa Clarita. It is 68% contained. Newport Beach temporarily closed several beaches, the Newport and Balboa Piers and the Wedge, due to severe coastal flooding from Tropical Storm Rachel. The 42nd annual Long Beach Marathon was yesterday, with a record number of participants and a slightly altered course due to elevated.
Tides and hazardous oceanfront conditions.
And the Dodgers lost to Milwaukee in Game 1 of the National Championship Series, Game 2.
Is this afternoon at two o'clock.
Well, this hour may be full of uncomfortable conversations in relationships because we've got a Ryan's roses coming up and that's not, it's not a great relationship or they're in a real moment of impasse. And before we get to paying your bills, I want to bring this up. Bella, our intern in the back room at USC was just telling us that like we're The worst possible response from a roommate issue has happened to her and her other roommate. Now, to be fair, we've all had issues with roommates over the years. For sure. You had an issue with your roommate, Bella, about the boyfriend staying over. I remember you telling us about that. And it just wasn't a good look that he was always there. And you addressed that, right?
Yes.
With your roommate?
Yeah, I've done it three times already. I have two other roommates, yes.
One you get along with, one seems to be stirring the pot a little bit.
Yeah.
Now, what has escalated is remarkable. Listen to this, Tanya.
So I received a cease and desist letter from her lawyer. Because there's attorneys.
Around yeah this isn't even legit.
What they said that i've been disturbing her and that i'm making it a hostile environment and that she can't eat or sleep there and i'm like well i'm horrible too like i'm miserable i don't want to come home anymore like.
It's both does she not speak do you guys not speak to each other.
No, every time I've tried talking to her, she just ignores me. I'm like, I don't know how else you want me to address this.
How does a roommate have legal representation for an issue that's happening at home? It's her aunt.
Oh, I'm like, this doesn't even make sense because you're signing up to live together. So it's not like a work environment or anything like that. Like this is a lease that you guys have signed together. This feels very inappropriate.
I think so too. And uncomfortable. How do you even go home every day? I.
I don't like in between class, I just go to my sorority house and then I go to my boyfriend's until like it's late and I need to go to bed and they're asleep by then.
So what are you going to do? I have no advice.
No, we should make our own season. This is letter.
We, yeah.
So now, now I have to get representation and I'm moving out.
Why don't we get sweet James to draft something for her? Where's that sweet James when you need him?
I know, right?
I'm, I'm kind of scared. I don't want to get sued.
I'm only 21.
Hmm.
I think the soonest you can get out, this is toxic to live in. I'm so sorry you're going through that. And it's escalated. Yeah, the sooner you can get out of that situation, the better. I mean, look, all you have to look forward to are things that we have coming up. Like now, crisis is in marriages and relationships like that. So not only at home, now in marriages, Ryan's Roses is a few minutes away. All right, I'm sorry about that. That is just crazy. I've never heard of it. Good luck and please get out soon. I will, I will. Keep that boyfriend around. Maybe move in with him.
Coming up, we're paying a bill in the 626. One more thing before Ryan's Roses. TikTok health advice. I'm not so sure people should be following it. A lot of advice is sketchy. It doesn't sound like anything that anybody should try on the surface and people are trying it.
No, but do you know why you follow them and why you are intrigued to try these? Because they'll start it off with like a prompt of like, I just had the best 30 days of my life and it's because I did X, Y, Z.
And then they tell you.
These things and you're like, well, I want the best 30 days of my life.
Well, I think they know how to play you right now. Eating mini clay pots. Okay. This is a trend just on the sound and surface level. Eating mini clay pots, sometimes with lime juice or tajin. The trend apparently grew out of somebody posting about cravings and craving dirt during pregnancy and saying eating clay detoxifies the body. It does not.
If you crave dirt, you're low on iron, bro. So maybe don't eat clay pots. Yes, not clay pots. And it's not good for your teeth.
Yeah, that does sound.
Again, that's the prompts that get you. So this one, shoving garlic up your nose. TikTok users are putting a peeled raw garlic clove in each nostril for 20 minutes, claiming that it clears congestion. If I was super congested and I saw this on TikTok, I'd probably try it.
No, it's going to burn your nose.
Yeah, exactly.
Garlic is going to irritate the skin inside your nose, which is already sensitive. And did you try this one, salt stomping?
Yes, I did try this one.
So... People are standing barefoot. This is a TikTok trend. In a pile of salt for 10 minutes before bed, claiming it reduces stress, regulates the nervous system, and improves sleep. So you, I mean, it sounds harmless. You tried it. What happened?
Okay, it's amazing. And I'm not, I'm not joking.
I do think that stomping on the salt, I think you're, there's so much, your feet are like receptors to so many things. And I feel like doing this, like really helped me sleep better. I don't do it every night because it's kind of annoying to clean up, but I do think it works.
What do you lay it down on the floor by your bed?
No, I use it like a, what are those sheets? Like the wax paper.
I put wax paper on my bathroom floor and then I put a bunch of.
Salt on it and I just stomped on it.
So, and you think it made a difference?
I do think it made a difference.
Yeah.
And now is that any chance that's placebo?
There's a high chance that it's placebo, but in my mind, if it's not harming you and it's helping you, why not?
Scientists and doctors say, great, go for it.
Great.
But it doesn't do anything. But if it sets you in a good mental place, good on you. And it's not going to hurt you. All right, it's time for Ryan's Roses on Kiss FM. So let's get into it right now. Lupe reached out. She says, my husband's on Facebook. I'm not. So I asked to borrow his phone to put something on Facebook Marketplace. He refused to hand me his phone. Now, Lupe, how long have you been married to this guy?
We've been married for four years.
And have you ever used his phone before?
No, I don't. I was honestly just using it so I could post something on Facebook Marketplace.
All right, and when you ask that question, I mean, we feel that when you ask your significant other to use their phone, there should be zero hesitation.
Yeah.
There should be no closing of the windows or anything like that or something's up. What happened in your situation?
Well, when I asked to borrow his phone, he literally refused. It was super weird.
Yeah, that's a red flag.
Yeah. absolutely and at that point i just flat out asked him like are you cheating.
On me and what did he say.
He paused for about ten seconds before he denied it he said.
No okay and what do you make of the pause.
I mean honestly it rocked me you know uh... especially because like when i asked him if i could post it on facebook marketplace he got super weird And he said, just email him everything and he'll post it.
Pauses in a situation like this after a question like that are no good. There's no good in that.
Maybe he was thrown off.
Like maybe he just was like so thrown off by the question that he like needed to process it even like he was just like so taken aback.
No, I mean, that's what that's exactly what he said, though. You know, I mean, he looked me in the eye and he considered that answer for so long. I genuinely thought he was going to say yes. But then he was like, no, no, of course not. I wouldn't do that.
If it's not cheating on you, then why is he hesitating about you using his phone? What else is he hiding? That's the question then. We'll find out. We'll make the call. Ryan's Rose is next. Lupe reached out and she said that she asked to use her husband's phone. And he said no, like he's hiding something. Then she said, well, you don't want me to use your phone?
Why?
Are you cheating on me or something? Am I going to see something? Am I going to catch you looking at something or talking to somebody? Are you cheating on me? He paused for 10 seconds. Then he said no. But, Lupe, the fact that he wouldn't let you use the phone is a huge red flag. We're going to call and see if we can find out. So, Lupe, I need you to say, Ryan, you have my permission to call, and then his name. Go ahead.
Ryan, you have my permission to call?
Okay, we're going to do that now. Be very quiet. Let's see if we can find out. Tanya will take over. Here we go.
Hello?
Hi, is this Josh?
Yes, it is.
Hi, Josh.
It's so nice to talk to you. My name is Tashi.
I opened a new flower shop here in Fullerton. It's called Tashi's Treasures. It's in downtown Fullerton, and you have been randomly selected to receive a free dozen red roses. They're gorgeous. I don't need anything from you. I just need the name of the person that you want to send them to and whatever note you'd like to put.
Sorry, give me one second. Ronde Colbu with a splash of oat milk, two pumps of vanilla syrup. Thank you. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. What is this?
My name is Tashi.
I just opened a new flower shop here in downtown Fullerton called Tashi's Treasures. And I wanted to offer you a free dozen roses. They're red, long stem, beautiful roses, and there's no catch. I just need the name of the person that you want to send them to and whatever note you want to give.
And I can send free roses to anyone.
Yes, completely free.
I don't need to get any information from you. This isn't a scam. I'm just trying to get my business out there, and I'd really appreciate it if you used us today.
Sorry, why are you doing this?
To promote my new business.
We're new downtown Fullerton, and so if you like your roses, maybe you could tell your friends about us.
Okay.
Okay. Um, all right. And so what do you need from me? You said like, I'm not giving you my credit card.
No, no, no.
I just need, let's start off with the name. The, who do you want to send these flowers to?
Okay.
Hang on a second. Let me just sit by for a second. Give me one second.
No problem.
Okay.
Yes.
Sorry. Uh, are you there?
Yes, I'm here.
Okay.
Uh, yes.
Name.
Um, put Allison or Allie actually.
Okay, Allie. And what do you want me to write on the card?
Put, do you realize that you have the most beautiful face?
That's so nice.
Yeah.
Josh, your voice is being broadcast on the radio. I need you to know that. We've got your wife Lupe on the line. There is so much sketchiness going on that we all just listen to. So what do you want to reveal to your wife? Because you are caught, my friend. Okay.
Yeah.
And I think my coffee's ready.
Josh, I know who Ali is. She was his next door neighbor growing up and she's two years older than him. And you've always had a thing for her.
Okay. I mean, Lupe, what is this exactly?
You tell me. Do you realize you have the most beautiful face? I knew you were cheating on me. That's why I can't use your Facebook marketplace, isn't it? Because you two are DMing.
Lupe told us that you wouldn't let her use your phone in a marriage.
Why?
What are you covering up? Obviously a lot.
Listen, I'm feeling very attacked right now. Good. Nothing is happening. You're cheating on your wife. I'm not cheating on you. I'm not cheating on you.
You just got caught.
Josh, you just sent red roses.
Do you realize you have the most beautiful face as a song lyric that we used to listen to?
Okay, but you sent flowers to your wife.
That's just as bad.
Yeah.
No, nothing has happened since then. Josh, just get to your wife without us, admit to the truth, and figure out how you're going to resolve it or move on. I mean, she's on to you. It's a red flag that you wouldn't let her use your phone. She asked, are you cheating? You said no. The answer is yes. Lupe, I'm sorry.
People have different definitions of cheating. People have different definitions of cheating. I would not say I'm cheating on my wife.
Oh, my gosh.
No, that alone is cheating.
The note is even cheating. Nothing's happening. It's a song reference.
Oh, my gosh.
Okay, we're going to let you go, Lupe. He's cheating.
Unbelievable.
Whatever his definition of it is.
Yeah.
Thank you very much for reaching out. That's Ryan's Roses. What is the different definitions that everybody has for cheating?
Kiss. On air with Ryan Seacrest.
Coming up, we got Jingle Ball tickets for you to call in and win. And right now, we got a bonus pair for you before we pay a bill. We're going to play the Fame Game for sold-out Jingle Ball tickets presented by Capital One. Who's got the most people looking at the posts? It's the Fame Game. The Fame Game. Christy, good morning. How are you?
I'm fine. How are you?
I'm great, and I'm anxious to have you win the Fame Game.
So.
I will give you two Instagram accounts. You tell me who has more followers there in banning as you listen. So you got to get three right before you get three wrong. Okay. Who has more followers? First one, Jingle Ball Artists, Freya Sky or Sienna Spyro. Who has more followers on Instagram?
Freya?
Sienna Spiro has more. Bray's got 1.5. Sienna's got 2.1. That's all right. That's all right. Just getting warmed up here. Next one, Christy.
L.A.
Quarterbacks. Rams QB Matthew Stafford or Chargers QB Justin Herbert, who has more Instagram followers?
Matthew Stafford.
No, it's actually Justin, 871,263.
Oh, man.
Okay, to stay in it, let's go with L.A. food icons. I feel like this is right up your alley. You ready? I'm ready. The official Pinks Hot Dogs account or the official King Taco account. Who has more Instagram followers?
I'm going to go with Pinks.
Yes, you got it.
Correct.
Pink says 63,000. You're in it.
Yay.
King Taco, 58,000. Okay. Now, recent Jingle Ball venues, Intuit Dome or the Kia Forum? Who has more Instagram followers?
Ooh.
Kia Forum?
Yes. 224,000.
All right.
All right.
For the win.
Oh, man.
For the win. Let's do Dancing with the Stars hosts. Why not?
Why not? Oh, no. Why not?
Julianne Hough or Alfonso Ribeiro? Who has more followers?
It's not fair. Julianne Hough.
That is correct. Congratulations. She's got 5.1. He's got 1.6. That was the comeback of a lifetime right there. Well done.
Thank you.
Thank you for listening.
We'll see you there.
And we got more tickets to win in a few minutes this hour on Kiss. Oh, my gosh. You're lucky I'm here in one piece this morning. Had a very active weekend.
Yeah.
Whoa. Got on the express and headed to Catalina for a bike ride.
Saw that.
Oh, yeah.
That's where you were? No, that was different. What you saw on Instagram was not Catalina. I have not gotten a chance to put that up yet. Still got to edit the photos and video.
Yeah.
No, I went out there to Catalina and I had not been to the conservatory before. You get a ticket, you put it on your bike and you bike up to, I biked up to the airport. No small task. Wow.
Because usually you take golf carts around there because the biking is so steep.
Well, that's the thing. So I get up to the top, Ted and I, my buddy. I get up to the top, and I see a group of people, and I say hi to them at the picnic table outside. They're having some snacks.
Yeah.
And they say, Ryan, where'd you ride from? I said, Two Harbors. They said, Two Harbors? That's real distance.
Yeah.
I said, yeah. Anyway, nice to meet you guys. They said, well, was it an e-bike? Oh, snark. Now, there was a moment where I paused and thought, do I lie? Do I have so much excitement for this that I don't admit that I was on an electrical bike? Okay. It's like when you tell me you read these books, but you're just listening to them. It's not the same.
I'm still gaining the exact same knowledge.
That you are. I listen to most things too, but it's not.
I'm with Ryan on this.
It's like the e-bike of reading.
Yeah, it is.
It really is. It's assisted. I said to them, yes, I'm not too proud to tell you that I had some help from the E inside the E-bike, but still wasn't easy. Even with the E's, only got three E's.
Yeah.
One, two, three.
I don't know anybody who goes to Two Harbors. You know, everyone just goes to Avalon and like drinks at the dive bars.
No, the express rolls right up to Two Harbors. There's bars there too.
Really?
Yeah, I got called out for not walking my bike too close to the bars.
Oh, yeah.
Hey, don't upset the locals. No, get off your bike. You gotta walk it. Anyway, college football was great. Chargers had it tough on Rams tonight. The Chargers are 0-5. I can't. It's hard. I get visceral, too. When you've got your team, Dodgers are playing. Everything's happening. It was a difficult day yesterday. We got the Rams tonight in Monday Night Football. Come on, Rams. All things looking good, I hope, there. Be fun to watch that. Coming up in just a second here at 102.7 at Kiss FM, I have these sold out Jingle Ball tickets literally next. Well, Tanya just said, Ryan, I could so see you doing this, by the way. And that is taking a picture in front of a window, but not realizing that your reflection
of nudity is in the photo. Is that correct? You could see me doing that?
I could. This is like really just a PSA for you and for everybody.
Now, I will tell you that I'm aware of mirrors and reflections when I take pictures. Sometimes I have to put on a towel. I put on a towel around my waist before I take certain photos. Right, just to be safe. Just to be safe, because you never know. Maybe my angle is different than your angle, but I just want to cover it all up in case the reflection's there. Now, the guy from Smallville got caught. People were all about it.
Yes.
So Tom Welling, he played Clark Kent in Smallville, and they were doing this 25th anniversary in New York City. So you posted the photo of the New York skyline, which everybody does when they go to New York City with the caption, Hello, NYCC.
But the problem was the window acted like a mirror. And Tom was completely naked.
You got to check your photos. You got to squeeze them up. Zoom them out.
No, but you don't look like when you look.
Yes, you do. I check every single reflection in every picture. Is this the photo?
Yes.
So do you see where it's kind of there's like a gray squiggle on the bottom left hand corner?
You mean that tiny circle there?
Yes.
That's basically where he and his Mr.
Goodbar were.
Wow oh you have to use mr goodbar as we get up to halloween too and i'm looking at what candies i'm.
Gonna give out sitting down i'm so confused uh no so the thing is it's.
Not it's male anatomy where do you want to begin.
Yeah i don't know where do you want us to show you well no i put the blurred version on the sheet i did not put the.
Yeah we'll give us a.
No wonder he's all getting that thing down.
But listen, his photo was up for 10 hours, TMZ said, before he deleted it. And he has 2.3 million followers. So that thing has been screenshotted and sent around.
Happy Halloween.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Literally.
I look for mirrors. I look for reflections. And I double check by zooming out before I throw it up. Now, if you ever see a reflection or something in one of my photos I post, intentional. Oh, wow.
A little BTS.
It's actually the way I provide Easter eggs.
Yeah.
Oh, my gosh. Easter eggs.
All right.
Coming up, Kiss FM. Pink Panther. This is our Larson stateside.
Next.
And we got a four pack of tickets to our pumpkin patch party.
Next.
On air with Ryan Seacrest.
On a 2.7 Kiss FM Seacrest with you. There was a head trip music festival over the weekend. Altai in Coachella Valley. And the police and Riverside Fire and Cal Fire, they called it off at night due to lightning.
I know.
They pushed off Calvin Harris. How? I mean, could you imagine?
He wasn't on stage yet. Chris Lake was actually on stage. And it was like they thought they were doing a prank because everyone thought the beat was going to drop.
And then it just never dropped. No, like they shut the music off. Oh, they just closed it. Oh, you mean it was like a long hold drop? Yes, that's what happened.
Everyone's just like, oh.
It was a drop in perpetuity.
And then the music just cuts like this.
And everyone's like thinking like, okay, this is going.
To be the craziest beat.
And then you have the Alarms flashing and on all the screens, lightning warning.
Everybody, exit. You can't mess with the lightning. They got to call it when there's lightning like that.
Exit the venue now. Exit the venue now. People were just like, no way. Like, is this actually happening?
Drive all the way out there. It's a weekend. You make a plan. This is Saturday night.
Calvin harris is now done he was the headliner for saturday night so they the organizers of course made it work everyone shaved off a little bit of their sets in sunday to squeeze in calvin harris yeah from an edm fan's perspective this was like the craziest lineup ever in one night to have dom dolla into skrillex into calvin harris into swedish house mafia all in one night one stage so i think everyone was happy in the end.
That's what i heard everybody ended up leaving happy they got to see all those on one night one day yeah you know the adm festival thing is interesting because obviously you've got the the rave culture of music festivals all that exists parallel to that are these music wellness festivals now yeah there's a coffee rave in the morning daytime playing exactly uh And a lot of it is just because we're so sick and tired of being on our screen. You want to feel good. You actually want to feel good the next day, especially if it were a Sunday.
Yeah.
And they didn't do that there.
But what's different about this festival, though, they're saying it was a once and supposedly only festival.
Oh, one and only.
That's cute.
Yeah.
But there's only one stage, whereas like when you go to Coachella or Stagecoach, you have so many different stages and you can you have to choose almost between which artists you're going to see.
Take the optionality out of, for me, less decisions in life and I'm fine.
I was streaming it last night and seeing the view, like the bird's eye view of how many people, like a hundred thousand people out and just looks, just in one spot, just to see one DJ up on the stage.
Was really cool to see. That's gotta be a rush for an ego when you're a DJ, seeing all those people jamming to you.
Think about it.
They do that and then they go to their hotel room and they're just alone.
Maybe.
Well, not all of them are alone. And frankly, what do you think happens to me when I travel? Think about it.
You get this rush from all these fans, and then you just... Yes, Ryan, you're just like Calvin Harris.
No, no, I don't mean that, but I mean, if I travel, I go back after work, I'm... Alone. The July 4th thing I hosted. We had a lightning.
Oh, yeah.
And like tons of fans.
We had lightning.
Yeah.
But no, they went there for me.
They were there for fireworks.
But still.
But I still went back to my hotel. Alone.
Alone.
And you know what we do? We eat. That's what I do.
I eat.
