From Hollywood to you. Thank you for listening to us.

Ryan Seacrest.

Seacrest.

On air, on air, on.

Air with Ryan Seacrest.

It's 1 to 2.7, KSFM. Good morning. Here we go. About to pay some bills, starting that at 6.10, going all morning. Then a little bit later, before 7, I'll tell you the cheapest time of the week to buy your gas. Because Ronnie's out with free gas today in commerce. But there is a cheapest time of the week to buy your gas. Then this Ryan's roses, she caught her husband in a compromising position and thought they worked past it until a random Venmo transaction left her questioning everything.

So basically he's a teacher, a guitar teacher, and he hooked up with a student. His wife found out. He said, please forgive me.

Right.

She did. And then she saw a charge from, and he said, I'll never see that student again.

Yeah, they went to couples counseling, all that.

Charge, a Venmo charge for her lesson again after all this.

It really boggles my mind that people still have public Venmo accounts.

Yeah, that's weird. Like, make it private.

Yeah.

Well, I mean, not the point of this, but still.

740 this morning. And passes to Miley at the Hollywood Bowl every hour.

Kiss.

102.7 Kiss FM. All right, Tanya is definitely one of those people that loves a good read about relationships and workbooks about relationships. How to Find the One was one of the most popular. And now she's found another handbook workbook. Is this a relationship workbook?

No.

This one's called The Artist's Way.

Oh, I know this one.

You do? Okay, I don't.

Tell me.

Okay, so it's 12 weeks.

No, I'm out.

No, no, no.

It's 12 weeks, one chapter a week. And the chapters are small. It's not so much reading. However, every single day when you wake up, you have to write three pages. And it's just called brain dumping. And you have to take yourself on a solo date once a week.

I know about brain dumping.

Tanya, we have work. responsibilities, not enough time in the day. I'm setting my.

Alarm for 2 45 AM tomorrow to get these pages done before I come into work.

So if I can do that, you can also do this as well.

That's tragic.

By the way, I bought these books for my kids to write them a letter on their birthday every year. First of all, Civeas isn't even started. No, but the twins, I stopped when they were three.

It's not about, you don't have to write like a book. You just brain dump. Whatever your thing can be, to-do lists, it can be what you dreamt about.

It can literally be anything, okay?

And what's the point?

The point of this book is to stop living.

It's like to unleash, if you're living and if you're working from a place of fear or perfectionism, like you don't start things because you don't want to fail. It's supposed to kind of unlock this like creative thing artist in you, if you will. It's not artist in the technical term. It's supposed to bring out this creativity in you that maybe has fell side of fear or other.

Things going on in your life.

I like the concept of it. I just don't want to do the work.

I'm doing it.

I can hold you guys accountable because I'm also in it.

That's terrifying.

Did you do your workbook?

Did you do your morning pages? I don't know.

I have also a workbook right here. It's from the School of Life franchise. The Couples Workbook.

Who are you coupling with? Who are you doing this with?

No, I have it in advance. I have it here.

Oh, you're ready when she comes.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Nice.

I like that. It's called Manifestation.

Really?

Is that what it's called?

Yeah.

So it's got all kinds of things in here to work on being a couple. The scale of ambition.

Does someone else have this book?

No, I just, someone recommended it.

Should I do that one too?

Well, I don't know. This is, this is, it's very interesting. There's a lot of blank page. You got to write in the modern understanding of love is dominated by a quest for compatibility. Think back to your exes. In what ways were you not really compatible? You write that down. Wow.

I don't know.

That ability is not the prediction of love. It's the achievement of love.

I like the book. Aesthetically, it's nice to look at.

When you meet somebody and you want to make sure it's going to work, you sit down and you say, okay, in what significant ways are we compatible? What do we argue about? In what significant ways are you and your partner incompatible? What are the main topics you argue about? So you put all this out there.

Yeah.

That feels like a good book to read before you get married.

I think it's for when you do meet your person or when you're like courting or whatever starting, then you can kind of see how it's going to go. You'll realize like, do you raise your voice?

So maybe you start that when you find a partner. And right now you guys do the.

Artist way with me.

No, I'm going to do this one on my own.

I'm just really busy. It's a good one.

It's highly recommended.

Yeah.

So there it is. Yeah, you do that. I'll do this.

We do we.

I need like book on tape.

Audible.

And that's not reading. You can't say you read the book when you audible it.

Audible is like the only way I could actually digest books these days.

You know what I want to do? I want to give away Miley tickets next. Let's go.

Let's do it.

Who's a cat person around here? It's Kiss. Good morning. Who's a cat person?

Me.

Ruby.

Yeah, that's right. You're a cat person.

I can be a cat person. I just don't have a cat. I like cats.

Do you treat your cats like dogs, Ruby?

I am trying. Well, I'm just trying to.

I don't know.

I feel like I might get judged for this, but I want him to. I want to take him on walks. I want to take my cat on walks.

On a leash. Yes.

No.

I am leash training.

But do cats need that?

I feel like they want it.

I feel like they need to be treated like fairly like dogs, too.

They deserve to be, you know, taken on walks.

That's the way you feel. What does the cat feel? Because cats to me just sort of lurk.

He loves it.

He absolutely loves it. We started in our backyard. And so we'll put his little vest thing on with his leash. And he loves it. Initially, it was a little bit of a shock. But I've seen people on TikTok, they take their cats up for hikes.

Yeah, and people are also walking pigs around, too.

Yes, so cute. How many people are walking pigs around on a hike?

Not a hike, but I've seen somebody walking a pig down a main street of Los Angeles.

Yes.

Okay, well, you should go there.

Why are you angry about it?

Yes, why can't cats be walked, too?

I mean, I just don't know that cats, do the cats want that? Dogs need that, they want that. I don't know. I'm not a cat guy. So I don't know if that's such a common thing.

Well, only Ruby knows her cat.

Yes, and it also made me sad.

I read something that said cats a lot of times get this rap for being like, oh, they're so chill. They don't need to be entertained. You don't need to play with them. But yes, you also need to play with them. You need to give them entertainment and make sure that they are not just laying around all day.

I thought cats just want to do that.

Yeah, that's like the beauty of a cat.

No.

You need to also play with cats.

What is your entertainment? What do you perform for the cat?

Okay.

I have this little thing.

It's like a, it has a giant string on it.

And so I just like whip it back and forth, like wing, wing, wing, wing, wing.

And so he, yo, yo, no, it's like, it has a little toy at the end and he loves that. And then funny enough, he loves hair ties. I was like, if I bought him a whole pack of hair ties, he goes bananas. Like I just like, kind of like a slingshot yeah and then he like runs for it and then we play.

Catch do if you're listening do you walk your cat play catch with your cat is that something maybe it's something we need to get out there what is your cat's name ollie ollie yeah coming up next the cheapest time of the week to buy gas cheapest time to buy gas with high prices to save money monday morning Prices are lower at the start of the week, and if you pay with cash, you'll save about 10 cents per gallon.

That's right now.

I know.

That's why I did it today.

So you're so smart.

Today's quote. What if the secret to a good life is realizing how good it already is?

Perspective is everything.

Yeah.

Enjoy the moment.

Good morning. Ronnie Henry, digital content manager, now turned guy out at the gas stations. We're getting requests from different cities, communities for Ronnie to show up to do the free gas. Guy's out of Orlando, Florida originally. Went to Freedom High School. 15 minutes away from Disney World. We hired him here at iHeartRadio in Orlando. But it was his dream to come to Kiss FM in LA. And he's out on the streets living his dream. Good morning, Ronnie.

Good morning.

Commerce is so excited you are there today with free gas. Go ahead.

Yes, this is a working city. I'm like, there's a bunch of FedEx trucks and everything, but I see a car. I think he's trying to figure out what side his gas tank is on, so I have to wait just a second so he can get out.

Okay, I've done that before.

You know the little arrow... The arrow tells you which way to go. Oh, I didn't know that.

Yes, on your dash.

Oh, I didn't even see that.

When you see the little icon for the gas, the arrow will point in the direction of the side of the tank.

Yeah, I just learned this like a few years ago.

I didn't know that.

By the way, I know it and I still look at it.

Every time I need to get it. get gas. We'd love to pay for your gas today.

Really?

Yes, really. We have our car right here. I have Ryan Seacrest on the phone. He wants to talk to you. Here you go.

Hi, who's this?

This is Gus.

Hey, Gus, it's Ryan Seacrest with you on Kiss FM this morning.

Yeah, I'm doing fantastic. How about yourself?

Well, that's great. What are you up to this morning? Where are you headed?

Well, actually, I have to take my mom to the doctor. Oh, is she okay? And then we were going to do some stuff around. But, yeah, I'm running low on gas, so I told my mom I'm going to put a couple bucks in there. Well, more than a couple bucks. But these guys, they came out of nowhere, and they're like, yeah, you know, let me help you out. So I was like, hey, whatever helps. you know, it will be appreciated.

Well, you got it, buddy. We're going to fill up that tank.

Okay.

Thank you. Thank you.

Thank you.

Thank you.

Very excited about it.

Well, thank you guys. What's your mom's name? Uh, Gracie, Gracie and Gus.

All right.

Ronnie, we'll take care of you and help Gracie's feeling better. And thank you for listening to kiss FM.

Thank you. Okay, buddy. Hello. Hi. Yes, his mom's in the car. She's so sweet.

Yeah, Gracie there. Good idea to find Gus. He's definitely in need of it. And Ronnie, we will find you at another gas station later this morning on Commerce.

Yep, talk to you guys soon.

Okay, soon.

Bye. Bye.

Is this going to be the new way to find your soulmate, your human? 102.7 KISS FM. Ryan's Rose is coming up next. But Sisany was just saying to me, hey, Ryan, I've got a great idea for you.

What?

There's this new dating app called Hooked IRL. And you meet people on an airplane while you're trapped on a flight. What?

Well, they're pitching it to airplanes. So right now, it's an active app that normally connects singles who are already at the same event. So if you're in the same event, you can see who else is single there and then hopefully hook up. But they're pitching airlines like Delta, American, whatever, to try to see if they would actually want this app on their plane. And that's exactly what you would, you'd figure out. Like if you're single, then you figure out that so-and-so in row six B is also single.

And if it's a five hour flight from LA to New York, like bada bing, bada boom.

Bada bing, bada boom. Now what happens if it doesn't connect? Then you're trapped with that person.

Well, I mean, it's not like you're probably going to be able to switch seats anyways, but at least you just know they're single.

I mean, what person wouldn't let you swap seats if you said, hey, IRL dating app hooked up with this person?

I might not.

Oh, wow.

I know. I'm like, I like my seat. I like if I have a window.

I know.

Sorry, I probably won't.

This is people looking for love. You've already found it and you just want a window?

This is my seat.

There she is.

You don't switch with people.

Probably not. Oh, my God. Listen, judge me all you want.

I do.

Actually, people who don't swap, I think they are not great people.

I will swap if there's like a child or like they need to be next to their mom.

What if they're with their family member?

Yeah.

That is so.

Not if I'm going to get a worse seat.

No. I can't believe you could actually say no to their face.

I know.

I'm sure.

First of all, it's never happened. But second of all, I probably wouldn't.

Oh, my gosh.

Oh, my gosh. I'm such a horrible person.

That makes me think you have one horrible trait.

That I won't switch seats on an airplane?

I am honestly shook by that. Wow.

I can't say no. I would never say no. It's awkward to say, I'm sorry. No, I want to be here.

Why?

Yeah, if you're traveling alone and this person's like, can I please sit next to my wife?

That's different.

And you say no. No, it's not different. It's the same thing.

It is different.

I probably would, but if it's a worse seat, I'd be like, can you ask somebody else?

I would not want to fly on the same airplane with you. You would frighten me. Okay, this is besides the fact.

This is a hooked IRL app that they're trying to figure out.

I don't care about that anymore. I want to know about your rude behavior on airplanes. Coming up next, Ryan's Roses and Miley tickets. 102.7 KISS FM. It's time for Ryan's Roses. Here we go. So, this is a last resort to try and find out what's going on in your relationship to get peace of mind if you think you're being cheated on. I caught my husband kissing one of his guitar students.

What?

It's from Isabella. No, it's Adina. Good morning, Isabella.

Hi, good morning.

Explain what happened with the student.

Yeah, so my husband, he's a stay-at-home dad, and he also teaches guitar lessons on our back porch. Well, about six months ago, I got home, and they must not have heard me because they were scared.

Kissing.

I thorned in there.

I told her to leave.

I just screamed at him. And that kind of started our journey. He slept on the couch for a while. We started couples counseling and we had lots of talks. And honestly, I was feeling ready to kind of close that chapter and just move on. But then I saw she had Venmo'd him $ 70, which is his hourly rate.

So now I just. I just need to know what's happening.

That's such a violation. I mean, it's like a violation and violation, right? So inappropriate. Now, is this guitar student married?

No, I don't think so. She seems a lot younger than my husband.

What's her name?

Her name's Delilah. Delilah.

So we will call your husband and see if we can find out next at Kiss FM.

Hang on.

Check this out, Ryan's Roses. So she thinks that her husband is having an affair. Isabella?

Yes.

Caught her husband kissing one of his guitar students. He promised he would never see her again, but just found a Venmo from her for $ 70, meaning she had another lesson, I guess. So when you addressed it with him, did you say, I forgive you?

I mean, it's obviously we've had to go through a lot through this process. So I'm trying to like, let it go and like kind of close that chapter. Ultimately I am trying to move on, but you know, seeing something like this, it makes me feel like I can't, I feel like there's something still going on.

Yeah.

It makes sense. I mean, it would, I would lose sleep over it too. So we're going to call him. I need you to say, Ryan, you have my permission to call. And then his name. Go ahead.

Yeah, Ryan, you have my permission to call.

And the student's name is Delilah?

Yes.

Okay. Be very quiet. Tiffany's going to offer him roses. Let's find out who he's thinking about for romantic roses for free. Here we go.

Hello?

Hello?

Hi, can I speak to Joel, please?

Yes.

Hi, my name is Olivia. How are you doing this morning?

Yeah, fine. Great.

I'm calling from Liv's Blooms. Actually, we're just a small flower business and we deliver here locally in surrounding areas. And we're offering a free promotion today. It's a free dozen red roses that you can send to anybody that you'd like.

Really?

Yeah, they're free. I don't need... Anything from you? I don't need cash, credit card. It's not a subscription. You're not signing up for anything. Just promoting our business.

No, I'm okay.

I don't need your words.

Isn't there anybody in your life? You can send them to anybody that you want. We could be off the phone in less than a minute. I just need the name of the person and a note. They're free.

I mean, I guess. Great.

What's their name?

My wife, Isabella.

Your wife, Isabella.

Okay, wonderful.

What do you want to put on the card for her?

Make it.

For two, Isabella, Max, and Mia, and then put love, dad.

Okay, that's sweet. Max and Mia, love, dad.

That is very thoughtful, may I add. Your voice is being broadcast on the radio. Joel, my name is Ryan. I've got Cicely and Tanya with me right now. And your wife, Isabella, getting the flowers on the other line. So, why are we here?

Seriously?

Mm-hmm.

The reason we are here, let me just go back and verify some facts here. You teach guitar lessons?

Yeah, I do.

And you taught a student a while back, and you ended up crossing the line a little bit physically with that student. Is that true?

Yeah. I mean, no. We got past all that, but we're good now.

I'm not asking for that. I'm just asking, was that true? Did you kiss your student?

Yeah, man. Yeah, it's true.

Were you married at the time when you kissed the student?

Yes, bro. Jeez, man.

Yeah. And just a fact... then did you commit to your wife that that would never happen again?

Yes, I did.

And did that happen again?

No.

Did you say to your wife, you will not see that student again?

Yeah.

How much do you charge for a guitar lesson?

It depends, man. What's this about?

What would you charge Delilah for a guitar lesson?

$ 70.

Okay. So we have some information here looking at your Venmo that you did see her again because there was a $ 70 contribution and.

Yes for a guitar lesson man for a guitar i'm a guitar teacher.

Yeah i understand that joe but did you say to your wife you would never see this student again after you kissed her and then you did see her again joe.

I don't pass it.

So you started seeing her.

Again yeah babe baby babe Baby, will you tell this guy that we are good? Like, we had a rough patch, but we got through it.

But why are you seeing her again?

I'm teaching her guitar.

Baby, baby, I need clients. First of all, you don't.

And second of all, you promised not to see her.

There you go, Isabella.

No, I know, I know, I know, but it was before we worked everything out. Baby, come on, I said, baby, I said I'd have another kid!

Okay, that is not, you just can't do whatever you want.

What do you mean? Baby, I said we could have another kid!

That is not a reason to have a kid. What do you mean have another kid?

She said that if I agreed to have another kid, that we could close this chapter and move on. And I thought that we moved on.

No, but you did move on because you had the same woman back to teach her a guitar lesson.

You went back to Delilah.

You still aren't allowed to teach Delilah anymore.

I swear, baby, I'm just teaching her guitar.

Too bad. Joel, you don't have a lot of credibility. Because you cheated. Then you promised you wouldn't see her again. Then you saw her again. Now you're yelling at everybody. I don't like it, Joel.

And you're lying to your wife.

Look, I'm sorry I'm yelling. I'm sorry I'm yelling, sir. I'm sorry I'm yelling on the radio. I kissed Delilah one time. That happened. And it was stupid. It was an accident. I'm sorry, but we'll move through it.

No, you didn't because you're here and you haven't moved through it. And you saw her again. So Isabella, we are going to let you go. You have all the information you need. Your husband is a liar. He's doing this behind your back. And somehow he thinks by having another baby makes it fine for him to go keep seeing this girl he's made out with.

I don't like it.

Yeah. Over to you. And thank you for reaching out, Isabella.

Good luck.

Thank you.

It's Ryan's Rose kiss.

FM on air with Ryan Seacrest.

Ronnie Henry is our guy out there giving away free gas, doing a great job. And I think he's having some fun too. People have fun meeting him. I love Ronnie because at the beginning, he didn't tell people that that kiss vehicle that is all logoed up is the vehicle he's in to just like, legitimize the fact he's really running from Kiss FM. So now in his preamble, he's like, I'm running for Kiss FM. That's our car over there with the logo on it's Kiss FM. You want to talk to Ryan Seacrest?

Here he is. Yeah.

He has to get it in fast.

You have to get it in fast because if people just, if I'm like running up to people, they're going to be like, oh, are you asking for money? Like, what are you doing in my face? So I'm like trying to ramble so fast. So they know I'm trying to give them something for free.

Work your magic. Let's go.

Okay, I see this girl. She's just getting out of her car. She looks so fierce and fab. So let's see if she... Hi, good morning. I'm Ronnie with Kiss FM. You see our vehicles right over here. I have Ryan Seacrest on the phone, and we'd love to fill up your gas tank this morning. Okay, here, he wants to talk to you.

Yeah. Should I put on speaker?

Okay, hi.

Hi.

What's your name?

I'm Ava.

Ava, I'm Ryan Seacrest. Nice to meet you.

So nice to meet you.

So what are you up to, Eva?

Nothing much.

I'm just filling up my tank in L.A. after dropping off my passport to get my visa to go to China.

Oh, wow. What's taking you to China?

My friend lives there, so I'm just going to go visit.

That's nice.

Check that out. Now, Ronnie described you, Eva, as fierce and femme. What did he mean by that?

Fierce and femme. I mean, I'm in like an active wear set right now. I have glasses on. I'm like wearing all black. So maybe that's it.

It must be.

Yeah, it must be.

Yeah.

All right.

So here's what we're doing. Basically, we're just surprising people and paying for their gas since it's so expensive. So you're the one.

Oh, my gosh.

That's so sweet.

Thank you guys so much.

It's a pleasure. Are you going to work out? Is that where you're going?

Yeah, I'm going to go home.

I live in Orange County, so it's kind of far from me.

And then I'm going to go to the gym.

Okay, great. What a day. And then you're going to go on a 15-hour flight to Beijing?

Actually, Shanghai.

14 and a half?

Yeah.

All right.

Enjoy the free gas. Enjoy your trip. Thank you so much for letting us do it. And thank you for listening.

Thank you so much.

That's so sweet of you.

Pleasure.

Have a good one.

You too.

Oh, no problem, girly. Okay. Hey, you guys.

Hey, Fierce and Femme and Ronnie.

Right.

What's up, girly? No, she is so fab. Like, she isn't like a black active wear set. Like, she looks like she was going to take on the world. Oh, great.

Is that what Femme means? I just was.

No, I was saying Fierce and Fab, like fabulous.

Fierce and Fab.

Oh, I thought he said Fierce and Femme.

Well, she's, like, feminine, too. Yeah. Like, fierce and fab.

All right. Well, you, fierce, fab, and everybody, fill up the tank. Send her on her way. And thank you. Great job again, Ronnie and Connor. Yeah.

Here we go.

Bye.

Bye. Bye, Alex.

Behind the scenes of what's happening there is fascinating to me when Ronnie does all that. I'm trying to report Tanya. So Justin Herbert was just in here. with Madison Beer in our studio. He was in the back room watching in awe because he's in love. Madison Beer, the couple, right?

The relationship.

Now, Tanya, what's your story about these two?

So Madison Beer, and like you said, Chargers quarterback, Justin Herbert, they got engaged this summer. And now Madison is revealing the sweet reason behind the date that he picked. So he proposed on July 26th. And it wasn't just like a random day that worked in the calendar for them. she said on a Twitch live stream that it was their one-year anniversary of making it official. So she said, last July 26th, he asked me to be his girlfriend.

And this one, he asked me to be his wife. And she even pointed out that they were together before that. But July 26th was like the day that he asked her to be his girlfriend.

So it was a day that.

Became official, official.

And then he asked her to be his fiance the same day, a year apart. So I love when guys... remember dates like this because it is it's a lot of dates there's the day that you met there's the day that you became official there's the day that you get engaged there's days you get married like there are a lot of dates and the fact that justin herbert knew that date and wanted to propose on that date makes me love him even more i.

Gotta think he's a notes guy for sure when you first meet somebody when i meet somebody that night after i go right into notes and And remember, write down all the little things that were discussed, talked about the likes, dislikes, the favorite desserts, all that kind of stuff. And then I have the date. So I think I could do that.

I know it's so, I love a notes page because it's like so fun to me. I have my notes page on Robbie still. And I like look back on things. Like I would write like his favorite candy is like Reese's pieces.

You know what I mean?

Like all these like silly little.

That's the best stuff. Because when you remember later, And Reese's Pieces just show up at his work.

Right.

Shouldn't you just.

Remember, though?

No, you can't. It makes me.

Feel like you're not present in the moment because you have to write down notes.

You don't do it during the date. You do it after the movie.

If you care enough, you just remember.

No.

It's too hard.

It's too hard.

You see?

That's too hard.

I have every single date 1 to 30 in what we did.

Yeah.

But see, Sisney, I don't think you can remember all the nuanced details of the date. You just can't. And when you do the notes and then you surprise with something really specific, it's so romantic.

I'm just saying it worked out for me not having any notes pages and Michael never had any notes.

Pages on me. Yeah, but it's more exciting the.

Way we're doing it. Yeah, and like how cute.

I have like how to say his mom's name. Obviously, I know how to say it, but you don't even like you spell it out. It's like all these little things that you... that are so important I guess it's a cute memory to look back on for sure it's so cute.

Alright good morning in Valley Village Tara how are you?

I'm good how are you?

Great are you calling for some boyfriend advice?

I am it's a little boyfriend Halloween advice.

Okay you know what I specialize in?

What?

Boyfriends Oh, perfect.

I've done a lot of boyfriends. Yeah, well, I've done a lot of boyfriends. Advice for boyfriends.

Okay, I was like, where are we going with this?

Sorry, advice for girls for boyfriends.

Gotcha.

Because I've been a boyfriend.

Yes, you have.

A good one.

Oh, thank you. How do you know?

Yeah, do you know he has a good boyfriend?

Yeah.

Yeah, she knows all my exes. All right, Tara, go ahead.

Okay, so my boyfriend and I have been planning our Halloween costumes for a while now. And we're going as Danny and Sandy from Grease. He's got like the black leather jacket and I'm doing a blonde wig and black leggings and red heels. But yesterday he found out that his ex-girlfriend's going to the same Halloween party and suddenly he wants us to change our costumes. He says he doesn't...

he didn't even give any suggestions.

Why do you have to change your costume as she's going?

Maybe he feels like it's cliche.

He like, he said that he doesn't want to make some kind of statement, but I don't know.

It's his ex girlfriend. It's a party. You guys are a couple. What statement is he worried about making or not?

Exactly. I'm, I don't know. It's like his reactions just making me kind of suspicious and, Because I'm just like, why does he care so much what she thinks? And why is he worried about making a statement like we're together? And they broke up a year ago. And from what he's told me, she wanted to get back together after the breakup. But he said no. And then we started dating a few months later. So now I'm just kind of wondering, like, are we solid or like.

I'm just going to steal from some of the script of that show. What is it called? Nobody wants to be us.

Nobody wants this.

Nobody wants this, which is on, uh, what's it on Netflix and it's Adam Brody and Kristen Bell. And Kristen Bell has a sister and the sister ran into the ex of the guy she's dating. And Kristen Bell said, well, was the ex hotter or not than you?

I don't think she's hotter than me.

I wouldn't worry.

But why do we have to change our outfits?

I don't know about that. But frankly, I'm not into the Grease outfit anyway. So I'm down for an updated outfit. But I don't think you have anything to worry about. I mean, go. Be above the line about it. And get to the bottom of why he wants to change the outfits. I mean, everybody.

Grease.

Bonnie and Clyde.

Didn't you do that one year?

I did that with my ex.

Yeah.

Oh, yeah, it was cute.

How did it go?

We're no longer together.

Well, then maybe not a good suggestion.

I think don't worry about the ex-girlfriend. Find out why he wants to change the outfits and let's go have some fun. It's Halloween, all right? Thanks for calling.

Thanks.

On Air with Ryan Seacrest.

We're all here on a Monday. Very excited. Mark, how was your weekend? I didn't even check in.

Thank you so much.

My wife was out of town. She has her annual trip with her college friends.

So it was just me and my daughter. And she had homecoming. So she wasn't around much.

So it was just kind of me this weekend.

What did you do? I watched a lot of baseball. The playoffs are in full swing. Aren't you a good time?

I really am.

All right.

Listen to this. I need some opinion here. Something dividing the internet. And that is this. It sounds... mundane but it it might not be is bringing iced coffee into a job interview a bad idea some say it is too casual some say makes you look not serious and not focused others say if someone doesn't hire you because you got an iced coffee you don't want to work there anyway but what do you think about that like you roll in with an iced.

Just like slurping away like Yeah.

I don't know. I don't know how I feel about that. I think no.

It shows you didn't give enough time to finish your coffee before you arrived for the interview, which makes it seem like you wouldn't give enough time for the job. You'd be rushing always into work.

No, because I think a hot coffee, bringing in a hot coffee is acceptable. Bringing in an iced coffee is not.

I would suggest to put your best foot forward You don't bring a beverage into your first interview. You are there. You're using your hands to speak. You're shaking a hand. You're pointing at things. You don't need to bring in a beverage for a first job. What about a water bottle?

No.

They should offer you one.

I think it's a good conversation starter, though. You could be like, oh, my God, is that an ice matcha? Yes, I love ice matcha. Oh, my God, where'd you get yours?

I don't want to. Oh, my God.

No, and then you're drip dripping on their carpet.

Or dripping on their condensation on the table.

And then you have to, like, wipe it after the interview.

You leave it on the ground.

Also, like, you're not sharing. You didn't bring any for them. Like, what if I would want an ice coffee if I'm interviewing you?

It's distracting when you want to make a first impression. My guidance is no.

I agree.

But is it just for the job interview? We interview a lot of celebrities that come in here with beverages sometimes. Is it an issue here for us? No, that's not the same thing. That's not the same thing.

This is a job interview.

You think it's the same thing that they have like their tea? Yeah, we have people.

Come in here chomping away at stuff.

Well, that's, I gotta tell you. It's disrespectful. I'm not talking about chewing gum. One of those shows, I can't remember, came in here chewing gum during the interview.

Yes.

Now I.

So that's where you draw the line.

I'm an easygoing guy.

You're the most easygoing.

But that's like... To come in and chew gum while we're just meeting and doing an interview on the air? I think not.

I agree with you with the gum. I don't think a cup of tea is an issue.

Okay. I wouldn't hire you.

Tea.
