ONE HOT TAKE: The Plague w/ Jen Johans

This is our NEW RELEASE review podcast, ONE HOT TAKE.

What Polinger gets most right is the emotional texture of that age. Every difference feels dangerous. The film understands that for kids like these, survival often means invisibility until, one day, it doesn’t.

Synopsis:

A socially awkward tween endures the ruthless hierarchy at a water polo camp, his anxiety spiralling into psychological turmoil over the summer.
