ONE HOT TAKE: Whalefall w/ Dan Mecca

This is our NEW RELEASE review podcast, ONE HOT TAKE.

Whalefall works because it gets beneath your skin. The ocean’s vast, indifferent darkness becomes a physical expression of the protagonist’s emotional predicament, and the film’s extraordinary visuals make the experience feel tactile enough to tighten every muscle in your body.

Synopsis:
Follows a scuba diver who, while looking for his father's remains, is swallowed by an 80-foot, 60-ton sperm whale and has just one hour to get out before his oxygen runs out.
