Dog Leads Woman to an Envelope That Shouldn't Exist: The Pelham Mesa Signal

Dog Leads Woman to an Envelope That Shouldn't Exist: The Pelham Mesa Signal

A sealed white envelope, postmarked 5:47 a.m. the same morning it was found wedged into a desert rock at 7:42 a.m., suggests someone mailed and placed it before sunrise-then vanished. Why did a nine-by-seven grid of sixty-three two-digit pairs and the sentence "THIS WAS RECEIVED AT ZERO TWO FOURTEEN ON THE MORNING OF NOVEMBER FOURTH. I DID NOT SEND IT BACK." appear in town the same day a narrow-band eleven-second signal was logged at 02:14 at Pelham Mesa Observatory?

In this episode, you’ll hear the sequence of events from the envelope discovery to the observatory’s logged signal and remote access activity, reconstructing timelines, timestamps and personnel connections that tie the town to the mesa. How are a dog’s pause, a timed postmark, and an off-site login at 02:21 linked?
