In Quest of God: A Buddhist Priest and Chinese Scholar Become Pastors

Heard of Hudson Taylor and Pastor Hsi? In this biography, Marshall Broomhall (originally published in 1921) brings to light another remarkable account from the spread of the gospel in China—the story of Pastor Chang and Ch’ü Wan-yih. One a Buddhist priest, the other a respected scholar, both were sincere seekers who found themselves dissatisfied with the answers their traditions could give.
