Today's biggest winners and losers in the stock market.
On this episode of Stock Movers:
- Anthropic (ANT) filed for an IPO, warning its technology carried existential risks even as it moved a step closer to being the first company focused primarily on developing the most advanced artificial intelligence models to go public.
The company behind Claude expects to begin trading on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the symbol ANT, a filing Monday with the US Securities and Exchange Commission showed. Anthropic filed confidentially in June for a listing.
- Meta Platforms (META) is seeking to raise as much as $95 billion from selling common and preferred stock, supporting its development in artificial intelligence with one of the largest equity offerings in history.
The company is offering about $35 billion of common and preferred stock, according to a statement Monday. It also plans to raise as much as about $60 billion in an at-the-market share sale program, which allows companies to sell shares in the open market from time to time. The ATM will consist of its planned Class C nonvoting shares.
- Fair Isaac (FICO) shares are down after the financial services company said late Friday it will hold its wholesale mortgage price for the FICO Score through tri-merge resellers at $10 for lenders and brokers enrolled in its Preferred Program.

The Stock Movers Report, your roundup of companies making moves in the stock market, harnessing the power of Bloomberg data.
Let's take a look at some of the stocks on the move. We can do that with Christine Aquino, Managing Editor for MarketsLive, joining us live here in studio.
Christine, what are you looking at? All right, Paul, I'm looking at NVIDIA and other chip makers this morning, given the anthropic news, right? NVIDIA shares very much in the green today. NVDA is the ticker, and those shares are up 1.8%. All about anthropic really is the story here, right? We finally got... the S-1 listing for its IPO, which is going to be under the ticker symbol A & T, apparently.
And it confidentially submitted a draft S-1 to the SEC on June 1st. We're now getting the first public look at that. Very interesting, though, of course, then the question is all about valuations. And we got a first look at their first half 2026 results. That net loss number, very eye-catching, $ 80. 75 billion versus an estimated, or our year-to-year, $ 12. 97 billion, and then also an operating loss of $ 693 million. But, you know, everyone's excited about this, right? I think I saw valuations like, what, like sky high? It was into the trillions, but.
It's going to be.
Interesting when they take this show on the road and see what the actual investor reception is, especially in this particular current climate.
Yeah, exactly. A lot of moving parts.
One of the moving parts is Meta, which is looking to raise a lot of money. Yeah, absolutely, Scarlett. And we're taking a look at those shares as well today, ticker META. They're down a little bit, 1.8%.
And Right.
So they're now looking to raise as much as $ 95 billion from common and preferred stock. And this is, of course, going to be for its investment in AI infrastructure and super intelligence. But look, we have early takers, NVIDIA, AMD, Broadcom already agreeing to buy as much as $ 5 billion of the common shares in aggregate, according to their statement.
I mean, it looks like Meta is really going to lean into equity capital markets, right, rather than debt capital markets. Because even during their earnings report, they said that they're going to uh, have a new class of non-voting stock. And that will also help finance some of these, uh, acquisitions and other expenses. I'm sure all related to, uh, AI and yeah, it looks like they're really leaning into that equity, uh, fundraising here.
You know, who had a good day today? Goldman Sachs to a slightly lesser degree, Morgan Stanley, both are leading the anthropic IPO lead left for Goldman. And they're both co-leading the, uh, A meta deal. That's going to be a lot of equity fees between now and the end of the year.
That's going to be a big pain.
And you can tell, if this was me, I'd be right into my boss's office today saying, pay me. Pay me.
Well, first the IPO has to happen, right?
Whatever you were thinking to pay me, double it. But first the IPO has to go off. It doesn't matter. I'm in there pitching already.
All right, one more.
All right, let's take a look at their Isaac. As we all know, FICO is the taker. Those shares are down quite a bit today, more than 7% at the moment. And that is after the financial services company said on Friday that they were hold. Its wholesale mortgage price for the FICO score at $ 10 for lenders and brokers enrolled in its preferred program. This is seen as negative by a lot of analysts on the street. Bears, Jeff Lee Muller saying that expect a negative stock reaction to this pricing.
And BMO's Ryan Griffin saying that the announcement does remove a few regulatory pressures that it has been experiencing lately. Remember that FHFA Bill Paltry has FICO in his sights. in terms of kind of just criticism. But again, it does remove a key earnings lever for the company. So we'll see how that plays out in their next earnings results.
