Bloomberg Audio Studios. Podcasts. Radio. News. The Stock Movers Report. Your roundup of companies making moves in the stock market. Harnessing the power of Bloomberg data.

Let's take a look at some of the stocks that are on the move today. We can do that with Christine Aquino, Managing Editor for MarketsLive, joining us live here in studio. Christine, what are you looking at today?

All right, well, let's start with Intel this morning. So some big news and big gains for those shares at the moment. So ticker INTC, those are up 2.2% at the moment. And so the news is that Intel is agreeing to buy an Israeli startup, Classic Technologies, for about $ 2. 3 billion. That is part of their push to capitalize.

on quantum computing. So Classic offers its customers access to developed AI tools that help them test out the usefulness of quantum for their operations. Now, quantum computing, apparently, I only found out about this this morning, relies on the manipulation of subatomic particles. To speed up data crunching. Where's John Tucker when you're here?

I know.

Where is our physics fiend? He is not here, unfortunately. But so some companies like Intel, obviously seeing this as a potential edge over traditional computer processing, still in the early stages, but looks like Intel is seeing a lot of potential there.

All right.

And that stock up, as you mentioned, about 2%.

What's next on your list?

Let's take a look at Meta as well this morning, Scarlett. That share not doing too well. So ticker META. Shares are down more than 1%, 1.2% as we speak. I mean, overnight, we did see the company boosting its share sale to almost $ 98 billion. They sold $ 25 billion of common stock, which was more than initially planned. And it also raised $ 12. 5 billion from an offering of preferred shares. Now, we know that NVIDIA, AMD, Broadcom, all agreeing to buy as much as $ 5 billion of the common shares in aggregate.

So what gives with the stock declines? I mean, it seems like the whole concern around circular funding is rearing its head again, right? I mean, we have this graphic that our database people made, and you can see how amazing it is. Obviously, a lot of money changing hands between just a handful of companies. And perhaps.

Investors are now starting to kind of get worried about the fact that a lot of this capital being concentrated and traded between just.

A few names. Yep. We had Gary Gensler on earlier today, former chair of the SEC. He's not so much concerned about the equity capital raise as more as the debt capital raise, because these are companies that typically don't go to the market and investors have to get comfortable with this AI story. That's where he was concerned.

All right.

One more.

All right, let's take a look at Royal Caribbean as well this morning. Big gains, ticker RCL. Those shares are up more than 6.5%. I mean, the results for third quarter were mixed. Adjusted EPS beat estimates, but then there was a slight revenue shortfall. And in fourth quarter, adjusted EPS guidance is also below consensus. But the big reason for the boost this morning is all about geopolitics. We did get a report saying that Iran's security chief is meeting with the ending the war, which is potentially good for a company very much focused on tourism and bookings. And, you know, on that note, booking volumes for Royal Caribbean have apparently increased in the mid-teens across all major channels

and bookings for 2027 sailings up in high teens.
